This place is fantastic. There were four types of soup. A New England Clam chowder, a lobster bisque and two more (can't remember). There was a full salad bar, but I skipped that for the clams, oysters, shrimp, popcorn shrimp, lobster tails and crab legs. It was about $38 per person. It was totally worth it. There are plenty of chains that you can go to for the same price by the time you buy an appetizer, soup/salad and entree. With this place you can have it all. You can even have dessert! Although, we were too stuffed to try dessert but it looked pretty good. Our server was Tony, he was very friendly and attentive. The next time we are in Orlando, we will definitely go back.

17 Aug. 2015: My wife and I decided to drive the extra miles and visit Lighthouse because the competition (which was less than a mile from where we stayed in Kissimmee) was closed until 4:00 pm. Lighthouse opens at 12:00. We got there at 12:30, and were greeted by Chris. He made sure to seat us right next to the dessert bar. The first choice for our meal was the Lobster Bisque. It was so good that we forgot to try the New England Clam Chowder. After that, we went a little crazy with the seafood. Every single thing we tried was AWESOME! Hillerey kept handing out the lobsters, snow crab (both cooked to perfection), and butter, and Chris made sure that we never had to ask for anything. Every bite of food was exceptional, but Chris and Hillerey made our visit special. If you get there for the Early Bird special, you will find plenty of parking. The food quality, preparation, and taste is so good, you won't mind the cost. You get what you pay for, and at Lighthouse, you will not be disappointed. Enjoy! And be sure to tell Chris and Hillerey that Rick and Carol said "Hi"!

Don't come here if you are not an avid seafood lover. This place is heaven for a seafood lover. The crab legs are to die for... We literally ate our weight in crab legs. The lobster was good but the crab legs were even better. The owner and staff are very nice, the rest of the selections are ok too. If you love crab and lobster it's worth the 40.00 dollar price tag.

walked in- walked out... Great advertising-- if you like that... sometimes you just know its going to be bad-- but walking in the place just confirmed it was not "like the advertising"-- really? Another reason advertising is good for business-- thankfully their is Yelp....

Joseph was great. Looks janky outside, nicer inside. Small selection but crab legs and lobster are hot and plenty.

I give this place 5 stars and that's my opinion. I'll tell you exactly why... 1. The food was a lot better then most buffets. So considering that it is a buffet, it was really good. The lobster was fresh, along with the rest if the food... If your a seafood junkie like myself then this is the perfect place to satisfy your seafood fix without emptying your pockets. So that's right up my alley. The crab legs were really good and the green muscle was good. I didn't really care for the fried calamari, however, the fried shrimp (extra lemon) was good... 2. The customer service was excellent!!! MARGIE was so excellent, always at out table and offering her services. Staff was all friendly... MARGIE made our visit special, just one more positive to our vacation! Thanks MARGIE! 3. The staff always made sure the food was full and that their customers were satisfied. Food was hot, and my cup of Pepsi was never empty. I hope you enjoyed this review, and I hope it helps, ENJOY, ENJOY! ENJOy!!! Oh and... I tapped out at 12 lobster.... :)))))

Well how can i start? Small place and very old school...small portions of food put out at a time and they only give you crab legs and lobster one by one and the waitstaff is horrible we had a guy named chris who was not even close to proper. He was sweating all over and never asked if we needed anything. The owner seemed to be very nice and was always checking on the food which i must say was pretty decent and wasnt overcooked at all

Great all-you-can-eat lobsters and others. Was here during lunch time, and the lobsters weren't bad at all with reasonable price.

Worst food what money can buy. Pleaseplease dont go eat here. Worst restaurant in my entire life. Not the service, but the lobster was dried, long ago dead, small, taste like an eraser. I was not the only one, but the other group of peple were even complaining and the server and yhe manager were whispered rhat its what they paid for, and I heard it

What a tourist attraction!!! I think I may have caught Lighthouse on a bad day. The service was not good and the all you can eat sea food was not true they never brought out fresh sea food!!!

We got there at 12:30 and not all food was ready. Some items like the soups, clams, and pastas were barely warm which makes me think these were left overs. Desserts were old too. Some of the crab legs were not fresh either. Service was good. I wouldn't go back.

Disappointed customer! Had met 3 friends at this restaurant when they opened at 1200 and sat, ate and talked for two hours. While i was there i waited way to long for lobsters they seemed to drag out and take there time bringing them out. Every time i went back they would say we are steaming some now and only bring out 5 while there were 15 or more patrons in the establishment. Oysters were dried out around the edges my son went to grab some i immediately turned him away showing him what bad oysters look like. I do say they had always had snow crab legs available. Very SMALL SELECTION TO CHOOSE FROM not like Boston Lobster Fest. This was my first time here and the last for sure, the only reason i came was they open at 12:00 the other guys don't . I live here in Orlando Sanford area and always go to Boston Lobster Fest i wont make that mistake again. BTW price is the same as the other guys so get your moneys worth. This is an honest opinion of this restaurant. Thx Douglas.

Server was great, food was good, owner was horrible. I realize it costs a lot to run an all-you-can eat (especially lobster), but we went here around 6:30pm after going to Sea World. My 8 year old was visibly not feeling well (lying down on my lap in the booth), and I told the server she wasn't eating. I kept trying to get her to eat, so she ended up taking ONE bite. I told the server that she took a bite and I was going to try to get her to eat. I told him she ended up not eating, but they charged me anyway $17.95!!! Not only was it ridiculous that they charged me, but the server even told us before we ordered that the buffet WITHOUT the lobster was only $6.95. When I brought it to his attention, he checked with the owner who said they'd honor the $2 off coupon we had (they don't accept mobile coupons), but we would still get charged for her complete meal. The server felt the need to explain the way a buffet works...like I really needed an explanation. I have a sick kid on vacation and tried to be as honest as possible...see where that got me?

The place was okay. Initially I was skeptical because the place was empty. But since it was a Tuesday i figured the place won't be busting at the seams. I am not an expert on buffets but this seemed small. The one great positive was the crab and lobster. My MIL and her sister thoroughly enjoyed the lobster and I the crab. The desert selection was boring. We were hoping that since we are in Florida there would be Key Lime pie. The coconut pie and pecan pie left a lot to be desired.

This was a ok and pleasant night...not aware of when lobsters and crabs are out to keep filling...waiting around every 10minutes for 1 lobster is a waste...

I wish that I could rate it less!!! I should have been wise to the fact that no one else was in the place but me. And I paid over $83 for lunch for 2 people. SMH

We had always heard about the wonderful seafood buffets in Orlando. We decided to try this restaurant close to our hotel on I- drive and were pleasantly surprised. The price was expected for a buffet. Lobster and crab legs were fantastic my husband and son loved them. I had the mahi-mahi with shrimp, scallops and lobster on top and it was wonderful. We came on a Sunday evening around eight and there was no crowd the food was fresh and hot. Tony was our server and he was very prompt with drinks and courteous and always quick to remove plates. Summer 2014 buffet pricing we paid $40 for adults $16 for our seven-year-old and I ate of the al a cart menu and paid $17 for my entrée so if it was fairly decently priced.

Awesome buffet! I had a bunch of lobsters, they were all really good. The raw oysters were amazing. Owner was super nice and our waiter gave us a lot of good tips about the area (we are visiting from Louisville). Go for lunch, the price is lower than dinner. I love seafood so this buffet was perfect for us. It's on I drive so the location is good. My wife loved the pie.

The food is ok but OVERPRICE 100$ for 2 people and very bad service so this place i dont want to go back next time.

Waste of money... small buffet... nothing that looks like photos on website... most food was mediocre at best and not even as good as golden corral... lobsters were small and rubbery... crab tasted nasty... prime rib was some thin cheap meat thrown on a grill... nothing carved... place was a joke and expensive.

  • Teng B.

The environment is very bad. It looks like a fast food place (or a $8 buffet). However the servers there are extremely friendly and helpful. Quick service. The price is not cheap ($50 per person including drink and tax and gratuity) The lobster itself tastes fresh at first, but is soso by the 2nd one. And the crab is just ok. I would give a three star only because the server. The food is not worth $50 per person.

  • Kelly T.

This place was horrible and overpriced for what they were offering. The selection was little. The lobster overcooked. Crab was flavorless. Food looked sickly and albeit the servers were amicable, they did not compensate for the horrendous food. Accidentally stumbled in and was forced to stay because of personal time constraint and let's just say I would have rather been late than staying to eat. It's definitely a negative rating from me.

This was reviewed better than others in the area. We had a wonderful server, and the food on the buffet was actually really good. EXCEPT the lobster was small, rubbery and lacked flavor. The prime rib is very thin and lacked flavor. The lobster bisque I loved. I threw in some crab meat and it reminded me very much of my favorite Charleston She Crab soup. The raw oysters were tasty and the crab legs for us were done perfectly. We are from Charleston SC originally and know great seafood. I only get one or two claws of crab at a time because by the time you are finished with the first one the second is getting cold. Our waiter was wonderful and was really interested in our son who has cerbral palsy and in a wheel chair. He made us feel very welcome and we enjoyed this a lot. Our daughter ate off the kids menu because there was no way she would eat $15 worth of food in order to eat off the buffet. The place was very clean, quiet and the manager was pleasant! The price is high yes but we found a coupon online for $3 off each dinner so that was a plus.

I went here several years ago with my family, so when the wife and I were in town for our anniversary, I was excited to come back. It did not live up to the memory. We got there around 8 on a Friday night. There were not many people there, about four others, so I was a little scared from the beginning. You want a buffet to be busy. The lobster was uneatable! So over cooked it was like saw dust. The amount of lobster that is destroyed here is immoral. The crab legs were the only things that I could actually eat. Please don't support this tourist trap.

Disappoint The lobster doesn't taste good and the service is bad. U need to give the tips least 15 dollars for two adult buffet. Won't come again

I only write reviews when I am either blown away by an amazing restaurant or had the worst possible time ever!!! This piece of crap restaurant is on my shit list! Yelpers, you totally failed me. Was looking for a tasty lobster buffet and this fell far far below average. If I could give this place negative points I would. Should've realized this would be a horrible restaurant from the moment we parked. Our waiter had stopped us, asked us if we wanted to come in and eat and let us go through the side door!?! As our dinner went on, I noticed that they continued to run out and grab people in!? That is horrible sign when the workers have to chase pedestrians in off the streets. So on to the next, their selection was worst than mediocre!!! A chinese buffet for one third the price would've been ten times better!!! They had tiny lobsters, clams drenched in butter, old looking snow crab legs, huge beef ribs, hush puppies, disgusting soups that lacked SEAFOOD in them, and a shitty dessert bar. Best thing I had was the ceasar salad which I created not the restaurant. That's the selection basically, probably only missed 2 other dishes. O_o !?!?! Service, can you say HORRIBLE!? I think the cheap owner gives bonuses to his staff for getting people to eat more crabs legs and butter because when you go up for the lobster, they don't even offer the lobster!? They say, "crabs legs or butter!?" Like uhhhh, it does say lobster feast right!?! I didn't stop in to get full and fat off tasty drawn butter!?! Then as you continue to go up and get lobster, they continue to push the butter and crab legs, asking, "are you sure you don't want some, they're fresh and hot!?" Like no bitch, if I wanted that I would've asked. Then the workers all run around talking crap about you because you're actually trying to get your moneys worth on the LOBSTER!?! Long story not shortened, this place sucks. Save your time, money, and irritation level and AVOID by all means possible. I am an avid restaurant goer and would rather lick the rude hostess/manager's toes than be PAID to eat here. Whewwww. Ok, had to get my 80 cents in! AVOIDDDDDD BY ALL MEANS POSSIBLE!!!

This is an I-Drive all you can eat buffet. I had the crab (Alaskan snow) for starters. It was sweet and meaty. I hardly touched the drawn butter. Next I had the coconut shrimp, rice pilaf, peel and eat shrimp, and clam chowder. The coconut shrimp was crispy on the outside and meaty and juicy on the inside. It went well with the cocktail dipping sauce. The peel and eat shrimp were a good size and were par for the course peel and eat shrimp. I was excited for the clam chowder, but found the soup too thin for my liking. I added some oyster crackers and that thickened it up nicely. My fiance had approximately ten (10) lobsters that were also hot and meaty. He also liked the coconut shrimp, crab, and lobster bisque (he actually took one lobster, shredded it, and added it to the bisque for even more lobstery goodness). The sides were ok, but nothing to write home about. We both felt that we got our money's worth from the dinner and will be back again.

We found this restaurant on yelp, of course! We wanted to eat seafood like lobster and lobster we found in this buffet. Really, really fresh seafood - I ate 3 whole lobsters, steam dungeness crab legs, raw oysters, crab cakes, shrimp - so good! The other thing we really liked was their BBQ beef ribs - fall off the bone! The food is cooked in small portions so that the food is always fresh.

I was very disappointed with the quality of the food. Especially the rubbery lobster and the desserts, mainly cut cake slices that were sitting out all night and had become stale from exposure to the air. I should have known something was up when we got to the place and it was empty on a Labor Day weekend. At $36+/person it was way overpriced for this experience. Our waiter was very nice and attentive which saved this establishment from a lesser rating. They advertise prime rib but there was none to be found. Instead there were beef ribs in a sweet gravy. This was ok because the beef ribs were tender. We found the crab legs rather tasty but definitely not worth the price we paid. The other food on the bar was hit or miss. The fried shrimp were decent and the baked Mahi Mahi and Talapia were too. The mussels lacked flavor and the the oysters were anemic. On the bar there was also mac n cheese, chicken nuggets, yellow seasoned rice, pepper steak, soups, etc. Will I return... probably not. This was just not a $36+/person culinary experience. Although there were some aspects of the dining that were ok, overall there were more misses than hits.

Don't waste your money, tourist trap paid $121 for 1 adult and 3 kids and we all left hungry with stomach aches. Went here by accident and we paid dearly , it's a guard over the snow crab lobster tails and crab claws, it's an old club converted into a resturant with limited food selection save your money and go to another resturant . This is not a buffet its limited food in hot trays , that look unapleasing . So do a walk thru which I should have done and you decide

This place was amazing!!!! love it, first timer from Chicago taking a vacation. The food was hot (there were also cold crab legs). The owner.. at least I think he was the owner serves the crab legs so that everyone gets a fair share. The most annoying thing is going to an all-you-can-eat and people grabbing everything once it comes out! but not at this place! they serve it to you.. this goes for the mini lobsters too. The other food: pastas, mac n cheese, friend shrimp, prawns, etc etc were delicious. The clam chowder is TO DIE FOR. so don't miss out on that! The only thing was that service was slow but there were only 4 guys working the whole place and we went at a pretty busy hour. Yea, it can be a bit pricey but for what you get it's worth it! would recommend, GO GO GO!

We have been coming to this place for 8 years now. We LOVE lobster and this is the place for it! Yes they only give you one at a time, but I think that is reasonable. We love the 80's music they play. Good food other than the lobster. Try the claim chowder. See you next year lighthouse lobster!

We have been wanting to try this place for years and finally did this weekend. What a disappointment! The crab legs were good, but the lobsters were small, rubbery and without flavor. They kept running out so I actually only got to eat one. The prime rib was thinner than deli meat and terrible in flavor. The 'drawn" butter, was yellow oil. The salad bar was pathetic, desserts were terribly disappointing. I think they must have come from Sam's club. There was old mac n cheese, sea pak fried shrimp, oily noodles, and other things that I was afraid to try because it looked like it had been sitting out for days. The server was very nice, but it did not make up for shitty food. The meal was 35.95 each...... I was so disappointed. Low rent area, food and atmosphere. It was a huge damper on our vacation. We could of eaten breakfast lunch and a reasonable dinner for what we paid at this crap hole. Please do not waste your money. My husband was sick for a couple of hours later that night.

Coming from Vegas $34.95+tax and tip is way overpriced for this place. Yes they have crab legs, lobster and prime rib but the quality is averageat most, definitely not top notch. The rest of the options aren't worth mentioning. The desserts are my least favorite. If you just want lobster and crab legs and you think you can eat plenty of them then go. Otherwise I would not recommend it.

We just got home from eating at the new location in Kissimmee and I had to write to say how good it was. We absolutly loved it, all of the food was fresh, the variety was good with mostly seafood and not a lot of extras to fill you up. The staff was very friendly also, can't wait for next years Florida trip to go back again.

If you're in the mood for seafood, especially oyster and lobster, you gotta check this place out. We didn't get there during prime hours which is probably the reason why the lobster weren't what we're hoping for. A bit on the over cooked side, but still better than filled with mayo that gross you out after the first one. The size of the lobster is very respectful each claw is bigger than my face! At $30 a head, you'll get your money's worth after the 2nd lobster, not including the king crab legs and the oyster. Not sure what it's called but it's the small east coast oyster which we don't get in California, definitely the best raw oyster you can have. Conveniently located in International Drive by most of the theme parks.

  • Laura K.

One word: fantastic. It is normally $40-ish per person, but they have an early bird price of $37.95. Which, for some, might seem like a lot, but considering it is ALL YOU CAN EAT seafood (lobster, crawfish, and the highlight, snow crab legs), you'd end up spending about that much for seafood and not get as much. The selection isn't huge, but it was more than enough variety to keep any seafood lover happy. Plus, as part of the buffet price, they will cook you as much steak to order as you want. The place is very tidy, and they have a liquor license-- there are specialty cocktails available. The staff is beyond friendly and accommodating. In short, we will be back. Awesome.
