I normally don't yelp since I let my fellow yelper boyfriend yelp for me as normally his review is based on his and mine. However after eating at this place on sunday (and it left a bad taste in my stomach) I just had to join yelp and review this place so that my stomach can finally be at ease. Normally, customer service is the first thing which sets the mood when eating out in a restaurant. However when we started to ask questions regarding the crawfish and whether it comes with corn and potato, she ignored it. We asked again, and she ignored it. Then we asked one more time and she gave us the answer with an attitude. Next when it was my turn to order, I said what I wanted in a pace (normal conversation pace) I always say in other restaurants, but she said "SLOW DOWN, I need to write it out OK?" in an attitude. In addition, my boyfriend just wanted to confirm again if the crawfish deal did come with corn and potato because it wasn't specified in the menu and she gave us an attitude again. We normally would not ask again if it was clarified when we asked in the beginning however, she was not clear. Not only that, but no smile at all. And then what's worse is after she finish our order she went back to the cashier booth told something to the other lady, and the other lady gave us a death stare. I understand if she gave us an attitude if we were rude from the start, but we werent -_-;... We got a small gumbo, a soft shell crab po-boy, and 5 lbs of crawfish. But after the attitude we experienced, it did not taste good at all as when I kept eating I just thought of what just happened in the beginning. This was my second time here, and even in the first time I did not like the vibe of this place. This place feels like its for a certain clientele and if you are that clientele then you will be more favored. I rather want to go to the New Orleans place if I am craving my crawfish. Actually I insisted it since I didn't like this place when we first went, but my boyfriend didn't want to since its far and in the orlando ghetto. But then again it will be a while till I eat a crawfish again because if I look at a crawfish it will just remind me of the horrible service we had TWICE. Anyways on a good note, I look forward to my future yelpings!

This place is the most awesome gluttonfest i have ever tortured my intestines with, like EVER! We ordered the big ass aluminum tub full of everything you can pull out of the sea with a net, and added all the butter and spices. Cause if you're gonna do it, you take it TO THE WALL. I don't remember the last time I cried from being so full. The greasy buttery tears rolled down my cheeks, off my chin and onto my distended abdomen and stained my shirt like drops of gulf oil on white linen. It was beautiful. I highly recommend sharing this with more than one other person, unless you enjoy putting new stretch marks on your stomach lining. On the INSIDE. It may be best to avoid all the butter and stick to one flavored spice, for the rest of my day was filled with the most hellacious gas that no other human should have to bear. Unless you live alone. Then you go get em' tiger!

Being Cajun, my standards for boiled seafood are high. This place met my approval with its variety of fresh crab, shrimp and crawfish, all covered in a most delightful mess of garlic butter goodness. It's affordable, to boot.

I have been to King Cajun many times, and LOVE it, so I was excited to try this seemingly similar establishment. We got the boil, as we always get at KC, with a side of hot bread. The crab was just OK, and the shrimp were small and some of them had a really nasty taste that we had to spit out. The potatoes and sausage were pretty good, and the hot bread was great. Overall, our meal was just OK and I felt the prices were slightly too high. I hope to give L.A. another change sometime to see if my mediocre experience was just a fluke!

I love it here! Everyone are so friendly in there. It's a small place, but they made you feel very cozy. Third time been there and always order the "xa bang spicy". Love it! Will definitely be back again. :)

MOST RECENT UPDATE 1/11/2015: So this place used to be my favorite spot for crawfish in the area but it's just been letting down a lot. My most recent visit I ordered the usual 2lb crawfish (fresh) special but unfortunately more than half were rotten. I specifically put them to the side to later show them that they were rotten. I notified my waitress after opening half the bunch to see that they were rotten. I told her I barely ate any and asked if it could be taken off the bill. Unfortunately they could not comp me for it and instead offered 20% off. Kind of upsetting since I always bring a big group and they were my go to place. They did however offered to paid for my fries I ended up ordering. I took it and learned my lesson. Don't get me wrong, I love staff here and the food (besides the crawfish) are top notch. I recommend getting a poyboy or their gumbo. But if you want crawfish, try another in the area. **ORIGINAL REVIEW** Ended up visiting this place due to it's proximity to UCF (located in Viet-town). Love everything about it! I got the crawfish special, sha-bang (hot!), and it was phenomenal! One thing to note was that little to none of my crawfish were rotten (black) and it tasted fresh, even though I was told it was frozen. Another thing to note is the service is great! Our waitress was very tentative and always came back to check up on me to see if I needed anything. The only gripe I have with this place is the price is a couple dollars ($1-$3) more than another I've been to. But considering the trade-offs (good service, quality food), I think it's well worth it. Definitely recommend this place to anyone seeking crawfish! Update: The other crawfish place I used to go to raised their price. Want to update my rating to 5 stars. Update: Make sure to order fresh crawfish. One friend with us had a bad experience with their frozen ones.

Ordered combo A, and fished off every piece of it by myself. Yummy stuff and good value. Compared to Cajun King up road, sauce here is weaker on the spicy side, but much stronger on garlic flavor, so strong I suspect I will smell like a big garlic for next week. The restaurant is freshly decorated and very clean. The two waitresses are very friendly and helpful, but the other guy (maybe the boss) was a little lost in space.

THE place to go for crawfish or Gumbo! Best Cajun I have ever had....including places in Louisiana.

This place is an absolute gift to the shellfish eaters of Orlando. I have been there four times since popping is on my birthday in March. I have never had better crawfish. The prices are fair, and the owner(s) and staff are a model for how to run an eating establishment. Go there twice and I promise they will know you by name. The menu contains lots of soups and sandwich selections for those whose don't dig on shells. Five stars all the way! Wooo hoo!

Great place for seafood. Not a huge platter/combo selection but they are awesome at what they make. Amazing flavors!

Stoped here on a whim and was so happy with the results! So much food for an inexpensive price. We had the crawfish with sausage, french bread and a big basket of fries. We decided to try the beignets and were not disappointed. The total bill was $25 and we were delightfully stuffed. It is a whole in the wall and is a Vietnamese resturaunt serving cajun food but don't let that scare you. Sketchy part of town but worth the drive and we will be bringing our friends.

I've never reviewed anything on yelp, although I follow tasty food wherever I go. But oh my gosh, this place is DELICIOUS and worthy of so many praises. When I first went, I thought it was a little sketchy and was skeptical yelp had led me astray. When the food arrived, all my attention focused on the yum. Our table got a couple combo platters, and I got gumbo and crab legs and shrimp. While the crab legs' quality wasn't the best of I've ever had, the TASTE was overwhelmingly good. I asked for extra spicy. Just go here. Worth the questionable location.

definitely NOT the same boiling crab restaurant in California (they are involved in a lawsuit with the original restaurant) but it is just as good!

Wow, this place surprised me...in a very good way! I've been to cajun restaurants before that were very mediocre, but this place is not like those places at all. Firstly, the service was great. Our server was very good - super nice and attentive. My husband and I ordered an oyster po boy, a 1/2 lb of fresh garlic butter crawfish, and 3 medium garlic butter crabs (came with corn and potato). Both were medium spicy. The food tasted very good, seasoned well and with garlicky buttery goodness. The oyster po boy had a nice breading, light and not greasy. You could actually taste the oyster. The sweet tea was also very good. Next time, i'll probably get mild spiciness because the medium was pretty spicy. We had plenty to take home and it wasn't that expensive for all the food we got (about $29). Our server even packed our food for us (which I was glad for, because I was worried about the oils and juices spilling in the car) and wrapped the box in foil too so nothing would spill in the bag. Also, the bathroom was very clean. Will definitely be back here, one of the best dining decisions I've made!!!

I'm such a huge of crawfish, and I use to love coming here. I've tried almost all the locations in Orlando. The most recent visit that I came here, I ordered 15lbs of garlic Cajun crawfish for a family party, and they're usually nice enough to throw in potatoes and corn, but it was just so salty. We usually eat all of it, but it was barely touched since it was super salty. I would still come back here, but hopefully next time won't be so terrible.

Happened to be visiting Orlando and wanted some steamed blue crabs and came across this restaurant on the Web and boy was I happy that I did. The food was GREAT everything was fresh and delicious. I never have had crawfish before but these were so good that I ordered seconds. I also tried the blue crabs and shrimp combo that came with sweet corn on the cob and a potatoe with medium spicy seasoning and also garlic butter. This establishment is definitely one I will be visiting again everytime I'm in Orlando. Oh and don't forget to get a order of hot french bread to dip into that spicy garlic seasoning.

What can I say? If I ever have the luxury of picking my last meal, it would be the Combo B Platter, SHABANG STYLE! The workers are super nice (especially the younger girl) and they are pretty quick. When you place a to-go order, they take extra measure to wrap up your food so it doesn't spill and stink up your car (though I wouldn't mind having a Shabang scented car). As much as I like their service, though, when I go to these seafood places it's all about the seafood quality. That being said, LA's food quality is AMAZING! Don't you just hate it when you get so many black pieces of crawfish (meaning they were dead before freezing/cooking)? Well at LA I've only ever had about 2 (which is pretty low) if any in my usual 2lb order. Their blue crabs are also nicely cooked, juicy, and a great size! I especially love the snow crab legs! Their prices may be a little higher than some of the other crawfish places, but I think it's worth it. In fact, I am currently placing a to go order as I am writing this review!

Found this place through a deal-of-the-day site, and I think we got a platter that was specially created (crawfish, snow crab, I think blue crab, shrimp, corn and potatoes for 4), so I can't speak for the size/quality of the on-the-menu platters. But I can say that the garlic butter was delicious. I'd never had crawfish before, but the back of the menu helpfully gives step-by-step directions on how to eat them. The shrimp were huge and flavorful. Things to note: *This is not for the faint-of-stomach: everything we had was head on. For first-timers, that can be a little intimidating. *It was quite a messy affair (there's really no way to delicately eat this much seafood coated in butter), but there were plenty of napkins to go around. Another table had little latex gloves. Were they provided? Did they bring their own? It's a mystery! *As is typical with mom-and-pop places, the sodas were cans, not fountain. *The name of the restaurant is Boiling Crab & Seafood, which is what's on the outside of the building. The name on the window, however, says Asian Crawfish, I believe, so don't get confused. You're at the right place!

Today was our UYE event and the spot was in Orlando. @OrlandoFamStyle @orlandouncorked, James, and myself were here today. Located on Colonial and Mills area. Parking is a hassle and once you have parked you only have two hours. I was lucky to arrive early and parked in the back parking lot which is always super full. Saw some reviews and it suggested many things from the menu. I went with the Fried Catfish and the French Iced Coffee. Honestly we just didn't want to get messy with the crawfish and what not. French Iced Coffee. WOW!! Very strong and the condensed milk hits the spot. Maybe not the best pairing with catfish, but yummy nonetheless. Nice place overall. Everything is very clean. Even the restrooms were well maintained. Also, Free Wifi is a big plus in any restaurant. Onion rings. James ordered these today and he said they were delicious. I didn't get around to trying them since I was so focused on my dish. Fried Catfish basket with french fries and bread roll. I loved dipping the catfish in the tartar sauce. The fish was well made. Not soggy and just the perfect crunch. Nice place on Colonial. May bring some of the familia here if we are ever in the area. Check it out for yourself. It has some great food and customer service is amazing.

Eh, knock off of The Boiling Crab or Hot N Juicy. We ordered shrimp and crawfish - both which were overcooked. The seasoning was fine except it was just on the shells (the outside) and the inside was tasteless and rubbery/chewy. We ordered fresh crawfish but pretty sure they gave us the frozen crawfish instead.

Don't let it fool you. It may look like your typical bodega-like restaurant, but it's a place of wonderful seafood and exceptional service. We had everything from fried oysters and talapia to calamari and soft shelled crabs. I saw a lady near us "going to town" on a huge pan of crawfish and another on crab legs. It was looks so delicious. EVERYTHING has such great flavor. You have to like garlic, though. They're very generous with it. Most everything is under $16 and you can't beat the service. The lady that took care of us made us feel like we were part of her family. She was so attentive. I wish we had a place like this is NYC. Hopefully, I'll get back down there soon.

The chef seafood platter is plenty for two. They serve it w cajun butter sauce or their own "shabang" sauce. Get the shabang!! The shrimp come w heads on....blue crab..king crab legs...corn and 2 small potatoes. All covered in a spicy rub!! Awesome service. Parking is a challenge. Park at Publix!

Ok. So we'll be going back. Stumbled on this accidentally. My husband had the gumbo--very very spicy but excellent, tasty, full of interesting stuff. We got potatoes and corn from a boil--buttery, garlicky, full of fat and flavor. My oyster po-boy was surprisingly excellent (the bread is just right, which is so rare in the U.S). And then we ended the night with beignets. Outstanding. I want to go back and get me a big old pan of crabs. They looked amazing. And the waitress was great.

I love this place! I got the combo tray with my friend one day and we finished that thing! The she bang sauce they make it soooo good! If it's just me, I normally do take out and they are pretty good about wrapping the food up with the extra layer of tin foil so nothing leaks on the way home. They're pretty quick with the food so I don't feel bad stopping here if I'm in the area to grab some shrimp to go.

Price, food quality, service - uniqueness! Merge of Cajun and Vietnamese. Have the CRABS with Garlic Cajun... prawns (1lb $9) --- super tasty and extreme value.

  • M G.

This place didn't look like much when we walked by but it had a good crowd so we thought we'd give it a shot. I'm glad we did! The gumbo was good but VERY spicy. The seafood combos are a bargain for what you get. There are several seasoning options but I recommend the Sha Bang which is a mix of all of them. Great flavor! Make sure to get a loaf of French bread to soak up all the juice at the bottom of the tray!

  • Aldo F.

So far I had only have the po'boys and Vietnamese ice coffee here and they are gooood! The crawfish and sausage are my favorites. I can't wait to come and get dirty and messy with some shrimp, crawfish and crab. The owner here is really nice and friendly. Prices are ok. If your are in the area and want something different for lunch stop by and give one of their po'boys a try!

food was fresh, service was excellent. If this was cajun food, i'm santa claus. this more like thai food, which is NOT what i was expecting. unless you know what you're getting yourself into here, i would suggest choosing another restaurant.

as good as it gets is right. this is the best cajun in Orlando. I can't say the reason why, but the taste has moved here.

This restaurant was not listed in any of the tourists guides that we received at the airport, but after reading the great reviews here, we decided to give it a try. We are so glad that we did! The seafood was so fresh and yummy. The blue crabs were good sized. We also loved the service, everyone was so nice. If you are from out of town, it is pretty easy to get to. I highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I decided to give this place a try and we love it! We were there around dinner time and figured that we were going to receive bad service since there was a table of 8 next to us but we were treated very well. It's a small family restaurant that is run by a husband and wife. We ordered the special "AB" (The Ultimate) and the cook gave us the " No Crawfish Combo" instead by accident. The owner gave us a genuine apology and came out with a styrofoam box of full of crawfish. The food was delicious and the seasoning was perfect. During our time there, they were constantly filling up our drinks and checking on us to make sure that everything was okay. He had ask if it was our first time there and I told him yes, that it was actually my boyfriends birthday and we wanted to give this place a try. He went into the back and came out with beignets and said that it's on the house. The overall experience was great. From the food to the service and just the generosity, we will definitely be coming back.

Love this place. I was skeptical when we first pulled in but we got a po'boy, a seafood mixed plate and some soups. It was fantastic. I agree it isn't for the faint of heart - it is messy and with all the pulling and pealing the garlic butter pretty much gets everywhere - but it was totally worth it. The owner was friendly, showed us how to eat the crawfish, and we had a great meal. We tried the blue crab soup and the gumbo. The gumbo was very spicy-which is a positive in my book- and the blue crab was possibly the best soup I have ever eaten. Find this place for something local and interesting.

First time and it was great!! Delicious seafood combo with huge portion. You have to be willing to crack your own shellfish, but definitely worth it. Service excellent and price very reasonable!

By looking at all the reviews I actually had pretty high expection before visiting this place. But the actual experience is such a let-down. For all those 5 stars givers, if you think the foods in this place are good, you obviously have not tried the real THE BOILING CRAB. The foods in the boiling crab is 1000x better than this garbage and also cheaper. This place simply put all the sauces on top of the food. and all the rest portions are tasteless... not gonna visit another viet opened restaurant thats for sure.

Discovered this place under new businesses on Yelp and I'm so glad I did! The portions are huge, the seafood is fresh, and the staff and owner are always friendly, even learning your name and what you like to order. My boyfriend go here multiple times a week for seafood and get the shabang seasoning on the platter. Definitely worth a try if you love seafood.

Customer service had opportunities. I ordered a dish "to go". I went next door to a grocery store called Saigon Market for some fruits and bought two dinners from another restaurant next door called Tasty Wok. I came back in and approached the counter and the man snapped at me saying I just left and my food is not ready yet. Sadly, I didn't even say anything to him. I just approached the counter. I replied that it was fine and I was not in a hurry. I had asked for a dish that best represents the restaurant, "a favorite". I was told the "Seafood Gumbo". I was warned that it was spicy. That was fine because I regularly eat foods spiced with Scotch Bonnet and Habanero peppers. I thanked the lady for the warning anyway. The seafood in the gumbo was overcooked. I was not impressed with their "favorite" dish recommendation. Tasty Wok dinner was delicious though. So were the fruits from Saigon Market. I will place a review for Tasty Wok soon.

Right smack downtown on a block of Vietnamese restaurants. We were at Orlando brewing and looking for seafood. And since Orlando brewing doesn't serve food, this restaurant was our 2nd stop. Here's what the 2 of us feasted on: 3lbs fresh boiled crawfish, 6 fresh blue crabs, and 9 or so super large head on shrimp, washed down with iced tea. Did I mention garlic and butter and garlic, and the red potatoes and corn in the crawfish? When we walked in there were several Vietnamese families dining and quite a few more came for takeout... good sign. And then came the food... Ohhhhhh. Messy... Yummy... Fantastic. I regret that we had only one night to eat there as the menu was tantalizing. The bill: $66. This is Orlando. Our drinks and appetizers were $66 at Bahamas Breeze over in the tourist district. If you can find your way downtown, do not miss this and give the brewery a shot as well. Good beer choices in a funky little industrial location. What a great evening!

Whenever I'm in Orlando, I have to stop by before I head back. I usually get the C combo with the xa bang sauce. Also, you must try their bun rieu. Bun rieu is Vietnamese seafood based broth.

  • Iris Z.

This is my second time here! I ordered the same thing "ultimate combo". The first time was so good, the crabs are decent size, snow crabs are fresh, the shrimps are tasty. I substituted the crawfish for an extra crab and everything was so yummy! The second time, I ordered the same thing. The crabs are small, the snow crabs are not as fresh, and the crawfishes are not fresh at all. I ordered medium spicy this time too, but it's a lot spicier this time. The butter flavor was not as rich as last time. The bottom line is this place is a hit or miss. A good restaurant should have the same consistency each time! This is disappointing, I might not come back again!

Boiling crab, shrimp and clam are Phenomenal!! Also the gumbo!! My favorite are the clam but I feel like I got ripped off as their shell are so heavy and some shell came without the clam so 1 lbs never enough!! Family restaurant, service was ok. Food serve in the to-go container!! One star down for that.

Every time we've driven around Viet Town in Orlando, ever since this place first opened up, I had been wanting to check it out. I never did because my favorite Vietnamese restaurant is across the street and I can't ever pass that up. Until yesterday. We were a party of four and decided to finally try it out. The high ratings and good reviews certainly amped up our expectations. Sadly we were disappointed with the food. We ordered 4 lbs of live crawfish (@$9.99/lb) with mild, Cajun butter garlic seasoning and I also ordered their bun rieu, which is a rice vermicelli noodle soup with crab/pork ball. The crawfish was cooked well, but the seasoning left a lot to be desired. It seemed like it was just melted butter that they poured over the crawfish, and chopped up some garlic and sprinkled it on top along with some seasoning powder. The chunks of garlic, along with how the mudbugs were cooked, were the only saving grace for the dish. The cocktail sauce (which was a store bought bottle) didn't really help it either. As for my noodle soup...it was just okay. Nothing to write home about. My friend didn't like it too much and said the broth just tasted like water. (I thought it had a little flavor to it though.) Although the servers were attentive and friendly enough, the food just didn't quite cut it for us. We won't be coming back again unless they make some major changes to their seafood seasoning and lower their prices a bit. :(

Staff is very friendly here. I ordered the complete platter which basically had everything on it. the blue crab which was included was a bit too small for me however the rest were pretty decent portions. for the flavor i prefer the everything sauce @ Cajun king.

Don't expect a nice, fancy place. This place is a small vietnamese run restaurant that serves vietnamese style seafood. You can learn a lot about a country's history by looking at the food. New Orleans has a history with the French and so does Vietnam. That's why there are so many similarities in their foods. The French brought with them the baguette and the vietnamese created the banh mi. Of course you're not gonna get the exact same food you'll find in New Orleans here but you get the xa bang sauce on your crawfish and everything else. It's spicy, ridiculously garlicky and just fantastic. We ordered the ultimate combo with the xa bang sauce and added the Dungeness crabs. We also got the French bread to soak up all that sauce. We sat and ate every last bite and it was worth it. I saw a lot of people picking up their take out orders. The service was decent.

This place is amaze-balls! The owners are so friendly and make us feel so welcomed every time we go. Their shrimp and crab leg combo is delish and so are the corn and potatoes that accompany it. Since I'm not a fan of spicy, I stick to garlic style. be sure to order at least 3 loaves of their French bread ( baked to order and always warm) so that you can soak up all the juices in the bottom of the pan. The portions are hearty enough to split with 3. One of my faves in the city.

Despite some of the less than favorable reviews we decided to try this place for dinner. DEFINITE MISTAKE!!! Ordered the gumbo, 1 pound of crab legs and 2 pounds of shrimp for takeout. The staff seemed to be somewhat competent and the restaurant itself was clean, but as other reviewers have said...the food itself was extremely disappointing. The gumbo was just "okay", and the crab legs tasted as though they were not seasoned except with butter only. The 2 lbs of shrimp we ordered with the heads off and requested they be 'extremely spicy' (after reading other reviews about bland food, we thought we'd maybe get at least a little seasoning if we asked for 'extremely spicy'). We received only 21 shrimp...far from 2 pounds (on their own menu they list 1 pound being equivalent to 16 shrimp), they still had partial heads attached, were overcooked (horribly hard to peel and literally turning to mush once the shell was removed) and the most bland shrimp I've ever eaten. Definitely will NEVER eat here again!!!!!

Family owned with very friendly staff. Prices are soooo reasonable for fresh seafood. We had traditional Cajun blue crabs, shrimp, and crawfish. Nothing fishy about this place! Super fresh, cooked perfectly. The seasoning was packed with flavor of garlic, red pepper, butter and an old bay type seasoning. We were a party of 6 and stayed an hour past close. They never rushed us out, we felt very welcomed! This is a gem in the middle of downtown Orlando....we drive by it twice and missed it. The plaza is next to Publix at Shine Ave and Colonial drive. They have Poboy sandwiches on the menu, will come back to try!

We were their first dine-in customers for lunch yesterday. They were out of Florida blue crabs so we ordered Louisiana blue crabs instead. I chose the cajun garlic sauce, medium. I shared these crabs with my mom. My hubby ordered a shrimp po boy. My sister ordered the combo that had snow crabs & shrimp. We also ordered a pound of head-on shrimp in Xa Bang sauce, a bowl of Crab Noodle soup, & beignets for dessert. I give 5 stars to the crabs & shrimp. The soup & beignets were just ok. I've had better ones. The two servers were pleasant especially the lady. I've tried other Vietnamese crab/crawfish cajun places here in the Central Florida area, & I must say this place is best so far. The way they cook their crabs & shrimp is comparable to the way they do it in New Orleans. Definitely coming back!

I'm so sad I don't live in Florida....It's been like a week since eating here and I'm craving crab legs so much. When we first got here the place was full. The restaurant is pretty small, so we went outside and discussed if we would wait or go someplace else. Decided to wait (thank god)...while waiting 2 of us went next door to this Chinese place and got some taro boba teas-so so yummy and the food here smelled so good. I wish we came to this Asian part earlier, just so much to choose. Anyways, we go back and wow the food is so good. A lot of us got a combo to share (the experienced couple got one each for themselves- the waitress asks my friend if she's really going to eat all of it by herself). I mean she is a skinny girl and I would be surprised too, but yup she ate it all heh :P My bf and I got the B combo? Little of everything-medium spicy. It was pretty spicy for me, but not really for him. Next time I think I'll get mild...the thing is pretty garlic-y so maybe something less too...but wowowowow the snow crab legs are sooooo good. I want some right now. They also had shrimp, crawfish, this smaller crab, potato, and corn. Corn wasn't that good...lol I ordered an extra before trying because I love corn..but I think it's like asian corn (which I do not like) not that sweet and not that firm. The potato was so yummy too...I mean it just seems like regular ol' potato...but something about it..makes me crave it too. I got really full, but my bf wasn't like full full. Maybe he should've got a poboy too.. so I don't like crawfish at all, but my friend got an order of crawfish separate. She said that the one that came in the combo wasn't as good as the specifically ordered one. I think the waiter said that the one she got was fresh and the others might be frozen beforehand. I dunno, y'all can ask if you really want to know.

Tried the grouper po-boy. It wasn't bad, but I wasn't blown away. Generic would be a good word. No particularly amazing seasonings or flavors. The grouper fillet itself was very thin, without too much actual fish itself. The bread it was served on was warm, crispy and delicious. What saved the food experience was the amazing gumbo packed with fresh seafood, andouille and fresh veggies that were still fairly crisp. If I had a dining partner, I'd be willing to return and try it again, as the trays of the boiled seafood looked and smelled pretty amazing and everyone seemed happy with them. Overall, not bad for a "Cajun" place in the the heart of the Asian market area.

The oyster po-boy was good but the the crawfish was just ok. Ordered 10lbs of crawfish between the 4 of us and while certainly enjoyable, the sauce was subpar if you're used to west coast asian crawfish restaurants where you get thick flavorful marinate. The crawfish comes with core and you can also add sausage which I recommend as well.

This my favorite place to have some seafood!!! The live xa bang crawfish is to die for!!! Tip....Don't get frozen crawfish....get the live ones. When you come here ask for XA Bang hot with extra garlic sauce on everything. The family that owns the place is very kind and nice. Our server was the daughter and we sure hit it off joking around and she made our experienced fun!!! They also gave us free beignets for my sissy's bday!!! Thank you guys

Four stars because I'm basing this solely on the cajun butter garlic jumbo blue crabs and crawfish we had. Seriously if you are wanting authentic cajun food such as gumbo or jambalaya then go elsewhere or New Orleans. It's located where Saigon Subs used to be in Colonialtown sandwiched between Saigon Market and Tasty Wok. You know how a crawfish place usually has that distinct smell whenever you step into one? Well this place has it, but it wasn't overwhelming. It's very clean compared to other places I've been. The walls are decorated with writings from customers in marker. There are about 6-8 tables so it's not that big. Now to the menu. The menu has all the items you would find at a cajun restaurant such as gumbo, jambalaya and poboys in addition to the crab, shrimp and crawfish. However, there is also pho and bun rieu. I've tried the pho and bun rieu on another occasion and it wasn't that good. The bun rieu broth seem to be made from the same broth as their pho so it doesn't taste like real bun rieu. You've a choice between the frozen crawfish for $6.99/lb or fresh at $9.99lb. We ordered the fresh crawfish and jumbo blue crabs cooked the same way-spicy cajun butter garlic. The jumbo blue crabs were $48/dozen. The order came out in a fairly decent time. Both orders just looked and tasted so fresh. The jumbo blue crabs were filled with plump meat. The spicy cajun butter garlic sauce was pretty good! We devoured all one dozen blue crabs and 5lbs of crawfish like a boss! I've been back a couple of times since this and I just keep to what I know is good. I do want to try the golden crab next time.

The place was jam packed on a early Friday evening but we were lucky to score a table for 4 immediately. Ordered one of the crab platters that had blue crab, snow crab, shrimp and crawfish and we got it tossed in the xa bang sauce. We also got 2 bowls of gumbo, a bowl of crab pho, extra corn and rice. Everything came out quickly and we were stuffed with tons of leftovers. I liked everything but thought the gumbo was a little too thin for my liking. Also, the pho noodles were more like spaghetti noodles and not the rice noodles I'm used to. I would go back though but want to try the seafood tossed in garlic and butter next time. Also, the service was great and they were friendly and attentive even though the place was busy.

This place is okay with the cajun style seafood. If you really want the authentic stuff with more heat and flavor, go to California. There are a ton of restaurants in the San Jose area that taste better than LA Boiling Crab (this was the name of the restaurant when we visited in February 2014). We had Combo C, and it came with 1 pound shrimp, potato, corn, snow crab, dungeness crab ($36.99), and 1 pound of crab. d everything spice, but it wasn't spicy. Wrote on wall with our signature. Food came in styrofoam or on a foil platter. Spices were on top as opposed to the flavor being in a plastic bag. We were told that the plastic bag can cause cancer, so they haven't found a way to soak up the sauce without the bag. Seafood was okay. Not really fresh. Our waitress was really nice though.

All i can say is Awesome But dont get the crawfish until they are in season if you want them fresh, Because when out of season they are just the frozen crawfish. But other then that i had the Ultimate Plater Cajun with Garlic Butter, Shrimp, blue crab, snow crab, and crawfish, with a potato and corn. I would only wish the restaurant was bigger! I had a 30 min wait but worth it in the end.

Plain and simple, this place fucking rocks !!! Nothing to complain about other than the crawfish lacking in the meat department. Other than that, flavor and portions are on point !!

Boiling Crab, as many of my friends call it, is one of the best spots to grab some seafood and brews with a group of friends. They maintain some pretty steady and amazing hours to satisfy your cravings in on days where most some other restaurants would be closed. My friends and I discovered Boiling Crab after a nearby spot was closed for a holiday. We decided to give Boiling Crab a shot and it conveniently blew our expectations away. Boiling Crab is a family owned shop which gladly accompanies newcomers and seasoned crawfish vets alike. Crawfish is how I discovered this place, but it is definitely not the only good item on the menu. Their shrimp, crab, and other dishes hold their own very well. Don't hesitate to try a po boy or order up extra sides of french bread to dip in your seafood sauce. I've been here quite a few times and the owners will sometimes hook us up with a free dessert or drink, they're extremely friendly and welcoming. My one and only thing would be that I wish they carried more craft beer outside of your average heineken/corona/asahi/etc. I don't mind a Heineken or Corona though, since I basically grew up drinking these and eating crawfish. Either way, if you've been considering trying this place out, just do it. People come here to relax, unwind, and enjoy some great food. It's my place for just that.

First, I would like to start off with the bad, which is the Bun Rieu. The pork/crab meatball looked good, but once it entered my mouth, it had this appalling texture and was extremely mushy. The meat later separated and made my soup cloudy. I tried to save it by scooping out the meat but I was thoroughly disappointed because I thought the broth was ok, but the meatball really brought the dish terribly down, way down. I would never want to order that again there. Next the seafood seemed fresh (we ordered 2 different combos with a huge variety of shellfishes), but the xa bang sauce is not up to par to the competition down the street, really lacked in melding "all the above" flavors together. Too much lemon pepper from a bottle it tasted like. The gumbo is runny, so don't get it if you are loving the thicker versions. The flavor was ok though. Down the street is better.

LA. Boiling Seafood Crab & Crawfish is actually my first crawfish/seafood experience. I've never had it anywhere else so I have nothing to compare it to in all honesty. Now that that's out there-- I love coming here to fulfill my seafood craving! Now that I've been here a few times I know what I like and don't like. First time there I had shared the B Combo Platter smothered in xa-bang sauce with 2 other people. Ugh that buttery garlicky xa-bang seasoning is sooooo good. It went perfectly with the snow crab legs, Dungeness crab, and shrimp! I'm not a huge fan of crawfish so I didn't try it. If you're not a huge fan of crustaceans I suggest you try a po-boy sandwich! My brother doesn't eat shellfish so he opted for the grouper po-boy. Oh my my... probably one of my new favorite sandwiches. Why haven't I had one of these before?! The fish was perfectly battered and fried and served on toasted french bread with a little bit of mayo, lettuce, and tomato. Hahaha after devouring the first he immediately ordered a second! So far I'm impressed! I'm definitely come back for more!!!

She bangs she bangs... oh baby she moves, she moves! Not just a popular Ricky Martin hook, but also the delicious seasoning that makes this place worth the trip! Shebang sauce medium spicy all day! Giving this place a rounded up 4.5 because I just love small businesses that really have great products and go against the big wig chain companies. If you are familiar with the seafood crab/crawfish scene mostly seen on the West Coast like Boiling Crab or Hot N Juicy, this place is the same concept. You choose your meat (crablegs, shrimp, crawfish frozen or fresh, sausage, etc) and choose your sauce (from mild lemon butter to hot shebang). If you are feeling frisky you can add potato and corn and then they cook all of it together and the result is magical. If this buttery liquid gold is not to your liking they have fried fish platters too that are great as well. The fish is battered lightly and cooked perfectly. It's crispy on the outside and moist and flaky on the inside. And the portions for the basket is pretty huge. I like to dip the fried fish in the shebang sauce! They have pretty good chicken wings also for those not into shellfish. And the gumbo with rice is tasty. They serve po boys which I haven't tried. But the bread, you can order on the side... so tasty and crunchy...perfect to dip in the shebang sauce. As a matter of fact, you can dip anything in the shebang sauce... french fries, rice, whatever! oohh baby! Gotta warn you, it can get pretty packed in here, cause it is only like 8 tables or something. But definitely worth it. It is vietnamese-owned and the owner is super nice and loves it when a noob comes in to try to eat crawfish for the first time. The waitresses that I always get are friendly and attentive. If you become a regular, they try and catch your name to remember you next time. Which is a bonus in my book. The walls are decorated with writing from previous customers, they serve beer, everyone is happy! She bangs... she bangs! Ohhh baby she moves, she moves! Now the song is stuck in your head for the rest of the day. You are welcome!

If you are a seafood lover then this is the place for you. This place was recommended by my bf and since I love seafood I decided to see what the hype was all about. Let's just say I was not disappointed. I ordered 1 pound of snow crab legs with the Xa bang sauce. It came with 1 potato and corn. The food was made to order and came out steaming. The Xa bang sauce is what makes the food so good. The price is also really good as well.

Had several trips dining in to this place there's so much changes goin' on. I went there yesterday first the food I ordered combo platter c the butter is now watery there's no salt. Then the receipt there's TIP suggestions 18% 20% etc for me if the AMBIANCE IS OK THE tables & chairs are nice and using a REAL PLATE NOT STYRO I DONT MIND giving a TIP. Here's the thing they're becoming popular now and so management are making a lot of changes if they're not consistent with their quality control, etc. They will not succeed. IF I HAVE THE CRAVINGS ILL ORDER TAKE OUT INSTEAD of DINING IN.

Very tasty, purchased the catfish basket and husband had the crab po boy sandwich. All were good. My brother in law had the crawfish crab and shrimp boil he said it was good, quantity was great they do go heavy on the garlic..

Wasn't a fan of the gumbo and the fried oysters were just ok. The gumbo practically had no roux in it and for me, that's what makes a gumbo a gumbo. The fried oysters were kind of tasteless, but considering that I was eating them along with some xa bang steamed crab craziness, that might have been expected. However the Xa Bang explosion of goodness of all the spices and herbs that they have at their disposal in showering over some steamed blue crab, snow crab, crawfish, or whatever they have in season is absolutely delicious. Getting the side of bread is a must as well. With bread, you don't need napkins. Every major city needs a place like this.

Arrived late 30 mins before close. Was still served with a smile and great food. Not gonna post pics because others had already posted what we ate. We had the 36 dollar seafood basket, came with alot. Pho was good. Everything was tasty. Will be back when we're in the area.

Made a visit here tonight and ordered the ultimate combination platter and some muscles and OmG it was delicious. When we arrived the place was full and even though it's a small restaurant there was a very mixed room people. The muscles were Amazing!!!! Like all the seafood, they were covered in garlic pieces and butter. Listen,I have no idea what else they add to the sauce but it was a perfect combination. We ordered to go and they wrapped the containers in aluminum foil. The seafood combo was also in a foil baking pan with lid and then foil wrapped. They took the extra effort to keep the food warm and prevent leakage. Loved this!! We will definitely be visiting this place again!. Oh and the staff was Soooooo polite they greeted us with smiles and took the time to answer all the questions we had.

This is definitely the best seafood restaurant in Orlando. We were so impressed after the first time that we went back with more friends later that week. We had shrimps, clams and various types of crabs. They all came out perfect. If you love spicy food, try their spicy Xa Bang seasoning mix. You won't be disappointed.

I'm going to ring in the new year by telling yawl how much this place sucks. I absolutely cannot concieve how this place earned four stars on Yelp. Honestly, I was leaning toward two stars instead of one due to pretty good service, but seeing that it somehow got good reviews, I will throw my entire weight behind fucking that up. Jesus. All right. To start, the food sucks. It isn't just heart-attack/vomit/have a stroke unhealthy, which comes with the territory, but everything tastes like either chicken McNuggets, white bread, or salt. My mate's grouper, for instance, was indistinguishable from my catfish, and they both tasted like McNuggets. That is to say, bad. We had jambalaya as well (as good as bad gets), which I would describe as salt soup with just enough tasteless seafood to make it cost $8. That's the other thing. If shit gets served in styrofoam cups, how does it cost as much as half a gallon of pho next door? On the subject of pho, this place is owned by Vietnamese. They were very nice and served us quite well. The orders were almost correct, and with all that I was satisfied. However, I don't know how they got to be owners of a cajun food joint. Probably because this place is smushed between an Asian grocery and a (much better) Vietnamese restaurant. The Asian Music Awards playing side by side on obnoxious TVs with the Seminoles game really summed it all up. Suggestions: Don't get a po boy. These aren't po boys; they are banh mi with fried "fish" inside. Don't get a basket unless you want your whole meal to taste the same and be of the same color (deep-fried brown). Don't get the jambalaya. It's watery and you hardly get anything for your hard earned $8. Maybe get a biscuit or French bread. It was a little rubbery but acceptable at $1.That covers everything we got. Oh! Ok, I lied. The $0.75 corn on the cob was pretty good, smothered in butter, garlic, and cubes of something vaguely fishy. Could tell it wasn't fresh, but hey, whaddaya want for less than a dollar? A rubber biscuiiiit? Prices were too high for the quality, the facade, the decor, the anything. If the meal cost half of what it did, I might muster three stars. Last thing. We were the only paying customers, from what I could tell. Most of the others were sitting around long before we arrived and remained after we left. There were some prostitut-ey women about. Probably a mafia dive or a front for something, though I couldn't imagine what. The big mystery, at the end of all this, is not "how is there a cajun crawfish place owned and serviced by Vietnamese," but "how in the holy name of Jesus H. Christ did this place get four stars?"

Competition in the Cajun restaurant scene is surprisingly stiff in Orlando, and LA. Boiling Seafood is a pretty decent contender. I haven't tried their crawfish yet, so my first review is based off their poboys. The seafood was a tasty, but the breading was a little soggy for my taste (even for something deep fried). Overall a decent sandwich, but there are other local joints that offer better sandwiches. I'll probably be back to try their crawfish, which is the true test.

I'm a crawfish fan and have long been a big fan of King Cajun Crawfish for a few years but the quality has gone down recently. I will have to say that even with the crawfish being out of season and previously frozen, it still satisfied my craving. Their version of She-Bang was delicious. I especially enjoyed the seafood gumbo and it had a fair amount of spice. The french bread was crunchy and complimented the crawfish. I only wish that these places would have more of the sauce for dipping the bread. It seems all the crawfish places are starting to cut back. The day I went in with my niece, they had a technician work on the flat screen televisions. It wasn't bothersome because the staff was extremely nice. Even when my niece asked the server if she could have her iced tea to go, she was quick to give her a new takeaway cup. Little touches like that makes the place more desirable. The friendliness and attentiveness was reason enough for me to return. I also like the fact that the walls are filled with scribbles from past customers. It gives it a sort of fun, yet personable touch. I recommend this place.

Brought my business partners from China to LA Boiling Crab. A small family owned restaurant. Staff was courteous and attentive. Food was amazing. We ordered some off the menu items, such as king crabs in garlic butter as well as #41, combo C and several other menu items. Snow crabs, king crabs, shrimps everything was amazing. Don't expect expensive China on the table or napkins on your lap. Food was outstanding. The only warning I can give is "you will overeat" it is impossible to stop eating unless food is ready to come out of your nose. A must go when you are in Orlando.

Love this restaurant. ... fair prices for mud bugs and a good assortment of dining options. The owners operate the restaurant and are very kind and responsive to their guests. Only drawback is the restaurant is small so weekend dinner time it fills up quick. Parking can also be a challenge. You cannot go wrong with anything here all of their food is enjoyable.

Good Cajuns food! The place is a little small but they have good food. I got a small jambalaya and 2 pounds of the whole sha bang. All which were pretty good. We also order a small order of beignets which was supah yummy! Our little server even gave us extra even know we were the last customers of the night. They didn't rush us but told us to take our time to finish our food. Over all, I had a great experience here and will be back when I'm visiting Orlando again :)

Just had to update my review. The snow crab, crawfish, and blue crab were even better than I remembered. The "Xa Bang" seasoning for the seafood is the way to go, it's spicy, salty, and lemony. So delicious! The staff was great, super attentive and had a great experience! If you want some delicious asian style seafood check this place out.

Having been to a couple of crawfish/seafood restaurants in Orlando before, I'd say this place rates as A-OK. We were greeted by a nice young lady who provided great service and joked around with us. She did provide great service by always smiling, being friendly, and attentive. But the other staff that came in between her who changed out our shell bowls and took our check didn't say a word or smile when we said thank you. Oh well. One of the older ladies would yell out across the restaurant trying to get the young lady's attention, which wasn't pleasant sounding. The restaurant itself is a newer restaurant on the Colonial 50 North strip, so the inside was pretty clean. Nothing special. It was decorated with script wire writing that said "love", "laugh" and other stuff. Random signatures on the walls written in black sharpie, which I didn't understand what that was for. Anyway, we ordered the Ultimate combo, which consisted of snowcrab, blue crab, crawfish, dungeness crab, a corn and a potato in the medium spicy "xa-bang" style. Once we got it, I was so ready to dig in since I was so hungry. The medium spicy isn't very spicy. All the actual spices were on the outside of the shells, so the flavor didn't exactly soak in to the actual seafood meat. The combo was basically in an aluminum foil pan that is full of melted butter, lemon pepper and some Oldbay. Overall, the experience was okay. I do like my seafood to have bold flavors but that's just my preference. As for the service, our server was great, but the others weren't so much.

I have been to this restaurant ~10 times since they opened a few years ago. I'm a huge crawfish fan, I love the original boiling crab in Cali. But this restaurant, which is not a part of the chain, even though they picked a crafty and sort of deceiving name, is a serious Hit or Miss. On other occasions, I really like the soft shell pi-boys, shabang/spicy crawfish specials and their spicy gumbo! This evening at 7 pm, I went there, it was terrible! I ordered shabang shrimp and a crawfish po-boy and no gumbo since they ran out (surprising since its only 7 pm, on a Friday night). I've had plenty of crawfish poboys and each one of them, the crawfish was battered and fried, pretty much one of the best features of a poboy is the contrast in texture. My poboy tonight tasted like, frozen crawfish meat taken out of the shells and sloppily thrown onto a poorly made sandwich. When I asked about the crawfish not being fried, he looked at me with a blank stare and then walked away. I was shocked, but I just ate it, thinking it MIGHT be a good type of different. It wasn't. Then I had 2 pounds of spicy shabang shrimp. Normally its slathered in butter sauce, and lots of garlic and cajun spices. Tonight, the frozen (and overcooked, pretty tough textured shrimp) was just boiled, covered in a butter sauce with a teaspoon of garlic and some hot sauce add to the top. The shabang sauce was favor less! You could literally see that they just pour some hot sauce on top instead of preparing the shrimp with the spicy shabang sauce. very disappointing. To top it all off, the wait-staff was not great. I tipped my 20%, but I will not be returning.

Boiling Crab & Seafood is located on Colonial Drive/SR 50 just down from the Mills intersection and just before the Shine stop light. The small restaurant is tidy and welcoming, staff greets you quickly and is ready to get your order. Our UYE lunch group enjoyed a beverage while we waited for others to join. Marvin M let us sample his tasty French iced coffee, a strong brew with sweetened condensed milk served over ice. Looking over the lunch menu, it was hard to choose from the many tasty options, but we ended up going sandwiches and baskets instead of a steamed seafood option. Fried catfish basket, Oyster Po Boy, Crawfish Po Boy and Softshell Crab Po Boy were all ordered, along with a side of onion rings. My oyster Po Boy was delicious. Tender, fresh oysters were coated in a savory seasoned breading and quickly fried to perfection. Not greasy, served on a wonderful crusty bread with ripe tomatoes, sliced onions, lettuce and mayo. This is a great sandwich that I will be ordering again very soon! The catfish basket was overflowing with freshly crisp fried catfish, which was enjoyed by all who sampled. The crawfish and soft shell crab Po Boys were given thumbs up. The side of Onion rings were easily sharable, a large portion and again, tasty and not greasy. Great spot for those looking for a fresh seafood fix.

Stumbled across this place one Saturday night after an event at Plaza Live. They have great crab and shell fish, fried and seasoned perfectly to your tastes. Staff is great, and very accommodating. 1 combo is plenty for 2 people. Late nights on weekends can be a little loud, but still friendly.

The service was very creepy meaning the staff was constantly watching us eat like we had poison in our food. The food was horrible!!! Seriously why is this place still open. All i got was a lite gumbo & a catfish basket & my bill was $15 that is ridiculous it should've been only 99 cents. My gumbo looked like water & tasted like ginger. My catfish basket was very light my fish was so mushy it didn't taste like fish at all. Please stay far away from this place. I wish i would've read the bad reviews first i could've spared myself. ..

The Boiling Crab & Seafood Cafe is a great place to enjoy Cajun seafood at its finest. It is Vietnamese own, so the seasoning is richer compared to your local seafood chain. If you can handle the spice and garlic, go for the Shabang flavor on your seafood of choice. We've tried blue crabs, crawfish, and shrimp. This place doesn't disappoint. Enjoy!

I don't know even where to began with this place because that's how bad I ever been to a place and not like anything about the food or service! Jesus take the wheel.... Let me begin with walking into the restaurant, I walked down the street to the Resturant and the gps took me to what it looks like was ChinaTown in the ghetto. I assumed it was ok considering that I saw customers with some sort of standards walking into the resturant even though there were a homeless person or two around the building. The service was great but was until I received the food that it went downhill. I got the gumbo! Stay far from it. I am a Cajun food lover and I know all about it so for me to see that gumbo that was a mockery of the craft alone. The gumbo was runny, no flavor no other than the "hot sauce" spicy flavor if ordered spicy and had pork dumplings, ginger, and pizza sausages in it which doesn't go in gumbo at all!!! Then I order the Cajun platter with the snow crab legs, shrimp, potatoes, and corn. Oh my god that was the worse I ever I had! The food tasted like they put everything in a boiling pot earlier that day then to top it off they put some kind of hot sauce on the crab legs! Who puts hot sauce on Cajun crab legs? What the hell! Then if you order shrimp be prepared to only get head-on shrimp because they don't serve headless which is creepy and tasteless. The potatoes and corn tasted like the shrimp and all of it was tasteless and fishy smelled! The waiters were watching the entire time we were eating because they knew the food sucked plus the people who worked there were Asian. I'm not racist whatsoever but how did they get a license to serve "Cajun food" if nothing taste Cajun at all. Plus they had people who wrote all over their walls about how good it was I think it's their "family" members because the cliente there were nothing but asians! The only reason this resturant even got the one star it got that it was the waiter kept checking on us even though she couldn't speak good English and the whole resturant would be watching my table eat. I wouldn't eat at this place if it was the last place on planet earth. They seriously need to stop serving this so called Cajun food and stick to Shrimp fried rice and sushi. The food was so bad I paid for it even though I hated and asked for a to go box and gave it to a homeless woman! I didn't eat any of it really but the gumbo! Will never go back!

This is one of the best seafood places I've been to in downtown orlando! I ordered the combo platter which includes shrimp, crawfish, crab, potatoes, and corn. It was so delicious and so worth the $36!

Great food , atmo, the owner n staffs are friendly . Did i mentioned the food was GREAT! This is the only true stop for good crawfish in Orlando. Consistent every time versus the self naming King seafood a few block away. Me n the gf ordered 4 lbs of crawfish each 2 days in a row. Same fresh , great tasting crawfish every time . Worth the trip. This is the King of LA style seafood in Orlando

After the second visit, I think I can safely say that this is a restaurant worth visiting, depending on what you get. Our first visit, we ordered the big tub o' goodies and spend a while cracking and slurping through our meal, and we thoroughly enjoyed it (and we were stuffed when we were done!) The second visit was a disappointment. We each ordered one of the crawfish po-boys, and while the bread was excellent, there wasn't much meat inside, and what was there was not as fresh as I had hoped. We left the restaurant feeling underwhelmed, underfilled (especially for the price), and a little sad that our second visit was so much less than the first. Maybe I'm spoiled by the crawfish po-boys at King Cajun on Mills. Whatever the reason, I can't say I'll be back for the sandwiches here.

Holy delicious to the core! Craving seafood that is as good as it can get? Stop by here and you won't be disappointed at all! The place is small and it can get crowded but it's the worth the wait but if you can't wait there is always take out. Personally, I love eating at the restaurant gives you the full experience. The owner is a great guy, very nice, and loves seeing his customers satisfied. My favorite thing to order is a pound of shrimp with the shabang sauce in medium. The shabang sauce is basically every sauce together and it's sooo good! I love seeing the bits and pieces of garlic on the shrimp, it makes it taste that much better! I also order the corn and an order of bread which is great for dipping in the buttery shabang sauce. They have other things you can order like sandwiches, platters, and combos. This place is legit and my favorite go-to for a seafood craving!

Every time my family comes to Florida the first thing we do is find a place that has crabs. Usually we make the one hour trip to Cocoa Beach for our crab fix but this place is wayyyy better! It's about a 30 min trip from the Disney area and totally worth it! The butter garlic sauce is amazing and you can get it on the crabs, crawfish, lobster, clams, shrimp... Anything! If you love seafood this is the place to go. It's not fancy things are served in foil trays with a stack of styrofoam plates but who needs fancy?! All that matters is that it's Super delicious! Definitely give this place a try!

Firstly, this is not the typical "cajun" food you get in the South. This is what Vietnamese people think Cajun food should taste like. This is my favorite seafood place and it is comparable to Boiling Crab in California. I love the seafood combo loaded with snow crab legs. Also, you gotta get the french bread to dip with the sauce that come with the combo.

The food was amazing! I had the 3 crabs with potato and corn on the cob, oyster Point boy and 1/2lb of crawfish. friendly atmosphere and it was very affordable. I'll be going back asap.

I honestly can't believe the reviews on here. I ordered the combo with crab legs and shrimp for $40. That was the WORST crab legs and shrimp I've ever had. It had obviously been cooked several hours before I purchased it. It was awful.

I was amazed at this place. Came here after a Disney trip and it was worth the 45 minute drive across Orlando. The crawfish were amazing! My little skinny 8 yo daughter killed a order of them (1 lbs). I ordered the combo 1 seafood platter, it includes king crab legs, a pound of crawfish, blue crab, shrimp and corn and potatoes. Soooo delicious. The shrimp were large, plump and juicy! I had mines with medium spice with a SingHa beer. I wish I had the the hot garlic on it though. I recommend the hot garlic by the way.. willing to drive back up from South Florida just for this again. For two orders of crawfish. Two beers a sprite the platter combo a bowl of jasmine rice for three people our total was around $83.00. Not bad of you ask me.

Would almost give this resto 5-stars. Very tasty shell fish and authentic vietnamese/cajun....two culinary traditions that deliver on flavor. Very friendly staff and service was prompt, courteous, and with a smile! I needed the bib so I could enjoy the goodness of the combo platter that had two types of crab, shrimp, crawfish, boiled corn, and a boiled potato! Enjoy!

Delicious food! We had 2 orders of "1lb snow crab and 10 shrimps" and 1 of "6 medium blue crab". They were all fresh and delicious with the snow crab legs being my favorite! The seasoning was great especially because I love how salty the cajun was. However, a lot of oil was used so that wasn't very pleasing for me. The blue crab were a bit hard to open and took some time. I recommend getting snow crab legs over the blue crab. There's more meat and hurts your fingers less!

I'm laughing at these bad reviews, and when I say bad reviews, im talking about 4 stars or less! This place is wild. Get the cajun garlic butter snow crab with corn on the cob and sausage. One of the best meals I've ever had. Staff is friendly and attentive and did I mention the food is fantastical?

Yummy food and, good service! I went there three times and buy the crawfish three times in the 6-day trip to Orlando.

This place is amazing!! We go regularly. We usually share a combo meal which is about $26 and split it between 2 or 4 of us and it is plenty of food. Amazing crab, shrimp, krawfish. I always get fries too which are delish! At first glance if you've never been here you would maybe think about going somewhere else but trust me the food is insanely good and you forget the atmosphere (marker/graffiti/signatures all over the walls)

Been here a few times already, but I think this past time will be our last visit. The crawfish are good no doubt, but the service from this one older lady just put a bad taste in our mouths before we even got our food. No matter how many questions a customer asks you should always be courteous and not give off an attitude. This is not the first time we've gotten bad service or an attitude from employees. I went up to go to the bathroom and the same lady gave me the death stare. okay... I will never come again, thank you very much. Their gumbo is pretty good, comes with a mix of seafood such as shrimp, crawfish, oysters, and sausage slices. I liked the sweet and spicy flavor the gumbo had. The soft-shell crab po-boy is good as well. The french bread is perfectly toasted and has a nice crispy crust. A touch of mayo with a crispy meaty soft-shell crab, lettuce, and tomatoes tastes delicious with the french bread. The food just can't make up for the service though. It is never a good thing when the person taking your order gives you an attitude. She might have even been the owner...

This is the first time yelp reviews lies & does not match with real life experience. Where do I begin... Atmosphere is small and cozy. Drawings on walls. I ordered a bowl of gumbo and the Ultimate platter since those were the most known items recommended by yelp reviewers. Boy...were they wrong. First, the gumbo was not gumbo. I'm sorry it was no where near Cajun spices. They used thai chili paste to make it spicy. Gumbo has a more spice kind of spicy while theirs is thai hot oil. It was extremely spicy!!! It definitely was not edible. The other table that was there ordered it too and nearly died from eating it. When they asked us what's wrong, and why didn't we eat it. We said it was made too spicy. They just said should've told them to order mild. But nowhere on the menu showing you have the option to choose level of spicy for gumbo. They in no way offered to fix it, but told us to come back next time and order it differently. That's ridiculous! There will be no next time. And for the seafood platter I got the garlic butter sauce with it. It was filled with huge chunks of garlic covering it. (No exaggerations) The sauce did not taste like butter. It was very bland and flavorless with a hint of bittered garlic. I believe it was not real butter being used, and garlic being cooked too long for it to become bitter. And if you ordered it spicy, they will just splash a spoon full of Thai chili paste on top unmixed. The corn had no flavor. Crawfish was tough and gone bad. The rest such as shrimps and crabs were good and fresh, but that sauce just didn't do anything for them. Price was good for the amount of food. Just wish it tasted better. All in all, Asian cooked and owned so don't expect real Cajun food and seafood.

Great food!! Had combo platter (no seasoning cuz of my kids) with butter and galic and it was just fantastic! We end up ordering 2 more pounds of snow crap legs, french bread is also awesome! We love seafood, and probably this is one of the best we've ever had in recent years.

I was in the area for my birthday weekend and my cousin suggested we stop here before leaving for home. I had plans to eat at an upscale restaurant for my birthday but was too full after leaving this place. I ordered the 6 large blue crab and 6 shrimp combo with Medium Cajun spice and garlic butter sauce. The combination of flavors were perfect. I was disappointed at the size of a few of the blue crabs. They were definitely not large. I called my server over to complain and he did throw in 1 large blue crab without charging me extra. I lived in Baltimore, MD for several years so I know what a large should look like. My husband ordered a grouper Po' Boy and was very impressed that they used an authentic french bread roll. He also ordered a "mild" Gumbo and it looked like a bowl of Asian soup (clear broth) with veggies, sausage and shrimp. He would not order this again. He agrees with Yelper Ann P. This definitely is not gumbo. His family is from Louisiana so he knows real gumbo. All in all I enjoyed the seafood and will return. The place has a very laid back atmosphere. When you come in you are seat at a table and given a plastic bib to tie around your neck. My cousin moved to Altamonte Springs from California recently and found this place after frequenting a place with the same name in Cali. This is her go to place for spicy seafood

Recently opened so it's quite clean and the atmosphere is nice. Waiters are friendly and knowledgeable, seems to be completely family run. Service was awesome, they really are trying to make a good impression for their new restaurant. We got the combo platter so we could sample all of their boiled seafood in one go. Honestly this is my first time ever paying for someone to cook me shellfish, since it can sure be pricey at most places. However it was well worth it for the amount of food we got. For about $26 including tax you get a whole lotta seafood. Jumbo shrimp, tons of crawfish, whole blue crabs and snow crab legs. My favorite of the platter was the shrimp and the snow crab. I'm quite the inexperienced crab eater so it took me some time to get through anything that wasn't a shrimp. The entire platter is doused with garlic butter, there was about two cups worth of garlic butter sitting at the bottom of the tray. And with every bite of food, you get a ton of garlic chunks. Be prepared to leave with major garlic breath and crabby smelling hands. Then they sprinkle on this seasoning all over the food that consist of salt, paprica, pepper, and some other stuff. The seasoning was ok but honestly it made the food a tad spicy and over salted so I'd do without it if you just want to savor the natural taste of the seafood. Crab was big and meaty, crawfish was sweet and succulent, but probably too much of it and not enough shrimp which was the best! Don't get me wrong they give you tons of food, but for me and my boyfriend we were still hungry..shellfish just isn't that filling once you get down to the meat inside the shell. Next time I plan on ordering the soft shell crab meal or the fried catfish! Their iced coffee also looked yummy.. will try on our next visit :)

The best seafood I've had thus far. Cajun garlic butter seafood combo was the best. The combo B I believe had a little bit of everything. So so good.

This probably isn't a fair review considering I am not a fan of crawfish but... It is fair in a sense where I've gas both boiling crab's crawfish and New Orleans crawfish. It's been said that the butter and the garlic are more abundant and flavorful at New Orleans. I can concur. Nevertheless it is definitely a closer option vs the west colonial drive toward pine hills. I can say that on occasions, New Orleans has a fresher batch of crawfish but it does have its off days. So between the two restaurants - they are equivalent in quality.

This is an excellent restaurant. We eat here every time we come to Orlando, even though it is a 30 minute drive from our usual hotel. Combo A, B, and C are excellent. They are extremely spicy, so if your not sure, get the spicy sauce on the side. We also love the blue crabs, which are very fresh. The staff is also friendly, and for the most part are the same each time we visit.

Ordered crawfish & cajun shrimp and the the food was not bad nor great, it would have been a little better if it wasn't salty. The service is also average. It is a hole in the wall with average food.

I've been here before and it was one of my favorite places in town for crawfish. My other favorite is down the street. I went today and asked for live crawfish. We can tell that the crawfish was frozen. Probably too early in the crawfish season but if we're going to pay $11.99 a pound they need to tell us if the crawfish is not fresh. The garlic butter shabang sauce was good but was more flavorful before. The chicken wings and beignet were good.

Though the decor may not be much, the place has a lot of heart and the menu consists of snow-crab legs, head-on shrimp, crawfish, and Maryland blue crabs as well as more than 13 types of poboy sandwiches filled with everything from fried oysters to catfish. My favorite items consisted of the snow crab legs, very fresh and flavorful, dipped in butter garlic sauce, as well as the jumbo head on shrimps. There are a few Vietnamese items here as well like the seafood laden bun rieu noodle soup with crab and tomato, as well as pho. The prices are very reasonable for the fresh seafood that you get and I hope they keep it that way.

What with the garlic, the crawfish is smoother with garlic. The crawfish is not even fresh
