Simple, clean, delicious. authentic, friendly....a new gem that I'm sure will become quite popular with the lunch crowd. The menu is simple and when you order at the counter, a convenient computer monitor can show you what the various offerings look like. The lunch special I ordered was brought out quickly and was just perfect...not overloaded with rice and beans, but a well proportioned, well presented meal. The owner (or manager) circulated around the room to make sure everyone was happy and enjoyed the foot. I always love to support mom-and-pop places and I look forward to more visits and explorations of their menu.

So so good. I need to give it full props! The al pastor was incredible today. Everything else is delicious, authentic (because they're from Mexico), and priced right. They deliver a variety of food obviously made with love in a cozy space and always with a smile.

I've been here three times so far and love it! It's also a 5 min walk from my house so that makes it even better! I've had the horchata twice and my boyfriend had jamaica juice and loved it. The tortas "con todo" are my favorite and I get carne picada which is the beef chopped up-a bit messy but delicious. I love how there's a giant computer right up front where you can swipe to see photos of the different menu items. Super helpful for someone like me who is just getting into the delights of Mexican food. My boyfriend is from Tijuana and gives this place 5 stars too! Friendly, quick, fresh, convenient. I need to stop by for breakfast!

Hard to find an authentic Mexican spot in Orlando, but finally found one! The handmade gorditas and tortillas remind me of my Mexican mama's kitchen! Very reasonable prices too!

Went here for lunch today. I thought it was great! the food is all homemade. The menu is small but sure to please. The Owner was delightful and very cheerful. I can't wait to take others here to see how they like it. I had the Gorditas special (Chicken and Asada). The Gordita bread was obviously home-made and very good. The filling was very tasty as well.

Very good first visit. The Gorditas are terrific and nice alternative to the run of the mill mexican restaurants. It's very authentic. The owner is very sweet and helpful with menu. Being from texas I've had a lot of different mexican dishes and this is at the top of the list! Can't wait to visit again.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
