Finally!!!! My search for authentic Mexican food in Orlando is over! I have been disappointed every time I try a "good Mexican" place out.... Until Now!!! Hands down, the absolute BEST Mexican food I have had since I lived in Arizona! They keep the spice on the low side but very authentic. The tamales are like no other! Enchiladas amazing! Fajitas are fabulous! On top of the amazing food they have a nice selection of beer, margaritas and most importantly sangria! Nice homey feel with excellent service and casual atmosphere. The place is always busy! Highly recommended for anyone who likes REAL Mexican food! Before I forget.... The prices are dirt cheap too!

Finally a decent Mexican spot in Orlando. Good service and very clean inside. I've been on the hunt for a decent Mexican restaurant in Orlando for a long time now, once you eat Mexican in Texas its a wrap...you're officially a Mexican food SNOB. Unfortunately, this place doesn't compare to the flavors I've tasted in Texas but for Orlando, it's one of the best spots. The portions are HUGE and the prices are so reasonable. If you are a vegetarian you will be very pleased with the number of options that cater to you. A breakdown of our order: -Shrimp Fajitas: So good! Shrimp was perfectly cooked and flavorful. -Bean Burrito/Potato Enchilada/Mushroom&Cheese Quesadilla Combo: HUGE portion and so cheap, honestly you can split this with 2 people. -Chile Relleno/Mushroom Quesadilla: Also a huge portion that is served with rice so you're officially in a food coma afterwards. The only negative was that the Chile Relleno was just average, we were not blown away by its flavor so probably would not order that again. Other than that, this place is a great spot in Orlando that doesn't disappoint your wallet (or your Dad since he's the one footing the bill).

Outstanding Mexican food for Orlando! Great service, clean restaurant and lots of options on the menu. We tried the red and white sangria and both were decent for a Mexican establishment. The chips were warm and the house salsa was very fresh and tasty. We asked for the hot salsa and our waitress brought two bottles out. The green was a bit spicy but the red colored sauce was super hot!!! I loved them both. My boyfriend ordered the steak in salsa verde which was so super yummy. The steak was surprisingly tender and the sauce was obviously homemade and full of flavor. The rice, beans and guacamole were all delicious as well. I ordered the roast pork and absolutely loved it. No fat just chunks of flavorful pork that were perfectly cooked. There was so much food we had lots of leftovers. We will be back!

Finally a mexican place nearby that serves authentic Mexican. Enough with the Chuy's type places and other chains. This place is the real deal. Homemade tortilla chips and salsa, fresh entrees, and waiters brining my plate with hot pads because the plate is so hot it would peel your skin. I had the shrimp quesadilla! Huge and I mean huge, tender shrimp. Excellent! Other great choices appeared to be the burritos. Huge portions too! Even my one year old loves the kids Mac n cheese. Only gripe is no liquor is served. That needs to change. If it does, there would be a line out the door and around the corner. Can't wait to go back for some yummy food.

Let me start off by saying I've been here three times in the past two weeks...it's just that good! Margaritas, sangria, beers and wine are available to drink and are all reasonably priced. Chips and salsa are brought to you soon after you take your seat by one of the friendly servers. The food arrives quickly after you place your order and is always hot and fresh. I highly recommend getting the chimichangas, and ask for them to be lightly fried. Both the pulled chicken and the pulled beef are so savory and flavorful! A creamy white queso lies under the chimis and a generous amount of sour cream and guacamole tops them. I do wish they added diced tomatoes instead of just a slice. I'm so used to rice and beans being pretty bland, but that's not the case at La Fiesta! The service is on point and the servers always have a smile on their face. The atmosphere is typical of a Mexican restaurant and is clean. My only issue is that some things on the menu are a bit pricy. All in all, La Fiesta is a great place to grab a consistently delicious plate of Mexican cuisine. I can't wait to return time and time again!

This was a great place to try out. After reading the reviews I had to try it and was not let down. I had high expectations and they were met. We dined with three, myself, my partner and a 2 year old toddler. For those parents out there, they have high chairs and a kids menu... definitely important stuff as a parent. Ordered the kiddo the kids cheese quesadilla that comes with rice and beans. For my partner and I we ordered the trio fajitas for two which comes with chicken shrimp and beef fajitas tossed with grilled bell peppers, onions, and tomato wedges, along with some awesome flavor. The fajitas were super amazing. Served with double sides of rice, beans, guacamole, sour cream, Pico, and flour tortillas. Definitely enough food for two to share. They brought out my daughter's food early which was great as she eats slowly and have time to cool down. We didn't ask for that service but I'm glad they did it as I usually do ask for her meal to come out right away. The staff was super attentive and friendly. They serve free chips and salsa immediately upon sitting at the table along with water before taking drink orders. We ordered the Sangria which for 5.99 was a very large glass of it and each glass was also garnished nicely and had extra fruit in it. Had two glasses and left with a buzz for sure. We did wrap things up rather quickly as my kiddo was having a fit and being disrespectful to other guests but at no time during her outburst did the staff make us feel unwelcome or rush us in any way which is also much appreciated. It can be stressful enough dealing with the child alone than to add the stress of staff making you feel like you should leave. They were great about it and just made sure to check on us frequently to make sure we had everything we needed to try and keep her happy. I loved the staff and my overall experience there. Meant to take pics of our fajitas but jumped into them before I remembered to do so but did get a pic of the kids quesadilla plate for the parents to see quantity... definitely enough for any kid. We took two to go boxes home that day. Lots of food. They dont have a liquor license so alcohol wise its beer, wine, and sangria.... I was a little bummed about it as I was anxious for margaritas but the Sangrias were awesome.

My husband and I went here for dinner on a Saturday evening. We were greeted immediately and seated at a booth. Within a minute, we had chips and salsa at the table. My husband is mexican and likes his food spicy so he asked for spicy salsa. Our server brought out 2 different bottles of sauce (green one and a pinkish orange one... The pink one is really spicy- just a couple drops will do.) We ordered a pitcher of sangria which was huge and tasted great. The menu had all the usual mexican food. Neither of us could make up our minds, so we went with the mexican feast for two. For $18, we got 2 large plates of food. I'm training for a marathon and ran 16 miles that day so I had worked up quite an appetite. There was plenty of food (one of each so we cut everything up and shared). Between the two of us, we finished the food but just barely. Didn't leave any room for dessert. Everything was very tasty. Our favorite was the quesadilla. Overall we had a great experience. Service was friendly and fast. The food was delicious and prices were very reasonable. We will definitely be back!

I was excited to come here based on the reviews, but unfortunately, I left disappointed. First, the positives: *The staff is very nice and polite. They seem to care about whether or not you like the food. *The food is good. *The prices are decent for the most part. Unfortunately, there were just too many things that happened on our visit to make us want to come back, at least not right away. First, we had to wait about 10 minutes to receive a menu because the restaurant had actually run out of them. I don't think that's ever happened to me anywhere. Second, we ordered the cheese dip and received the smallest bowl for over $4 that I've ever seen. Literally, the tiny bowl they use for the salsa is the same one you get. In no way is that worth the money. They're ripping people off, and it irritated me. It should have been $2 for what we received. I ordered the chicken and steak fajitas but received the fajitas that had chicken, steak, and seafood. When it arrived, I explained the error to them. They still charged me for the one with seafood, which had to be corrected. It was also obvious that all they had done was pick out the shrimp that were once there, but at least they didn't waste food. My husband had the enchiladas with mole sauce and enjoyed it. Unfortunately, the restaurant was so warm that we were both sweating and I actually had my husband go wait in the car while I took care of the check. I am not sure why it was so hot in there, but it was really uncomfortable. Overall, not the experience I was hoping for and I am not sure if I want to go back.

Stop by for a quick lunch with the family. First time here. I gotta say, it was truly great, fresh Mexican food. Delicious flavor and seasoning. If your in the mood for Mexican food and your in the Orlando area. You gotta stop by. Services was also outstanding. We had a party of 9 and everyone agreed that the food was great.

I love good Mexican food and crave it often but ya' know I have had a hard time finding the perfect spot in Orlando! La Fiesta has ended my search. It's my go to. I almost don't want to tell anyone for fear that my secret spot will get overrun. So you're welcome. Affordable, friendly and fast service, and of course the food is just right. I am obsessed with choriqueso and enchiladas. A superior spot must excel in these two areas. Cold Mexican beers on tab and in bottles. Sangria in goblets the size of your head. Mexican Cokes in a glass bottle if you ask nicely. My only complaint is that they do not have a liquor license and therefore do not have margaritas. Which I love. Even without margs, I would still pick this place over any other in Orlando.

Wow! What a great feel and delicious food! I saw all of the Yelp reviews and thought I'd check this place out for lunch. I was first struck by the clean and open interior. I'm from Miami and I've come to expect these small hole in the wall joints to be a bit on the messy side, but this was immaculate! We ordered off of the lunch menu (I'll admit I was a bit taken aback by the prices of the regular menu). We shared the lunch Carne asada as well as the chicken chimichanga. I loved the beans that came with both dishes- soooo flavorful and it reminded me of my grandfather's Mexican beans. The Carne Asada was wonderfully seasoned and came with sautéed onions, tortillas (we chose corn) and yellow rice. The corn tortillas were totally legit and there was not a single grain of rice left on that plate by the end! The chimichanga was also absolutely devoured and it came topped with guac and sour creme. I wish we would have left room for dessert, but there's always next time! GREAT lunch and great lunch prices!

Hooray for La Fiesta Mexican Grill. Totally authentic and fresh, you can taste the love that goes into every dish. So happy to finally have a good Mexican restaurant nearby. Seated promptly, and drinks ordered within a minute, I started with the Tostadas de Cameron appetizer. The shrimp was seasoned and cooked perfectly and was served on a bed of fresh lettuce, tomato and avocado over a crispy, fresh tostada shell. Very good start. We decided on the fajita meal for two, which comes with beef, chicken and shrimp. They knocked it out of the park here. Again everything was cooked perfectly, served hot with onions and peppers on a sizzling fajita pan, seasoned very well and came with two individual plates of crisp lettuce, fresh tomato, sour cream, rice and refried beans and hot soft toritllas. All delicious. Wanted desperately to leave room for desert but no fue posible! The restaurant is smallish but well kept, and family-owned which I like, and noticed that there were only a few open tables left after we sat. By the time we got our main course every table was filled. Seems the word is getting out about this little gem on Curry Ford! I could walk here if I had to, but it's worth the drive if you don't live in the immediate area.

Great Mexican joint in the downtown area. A group of friends and I made a late night stop here on Saturday night after an all day rained out party and in need of some dinner. Service was great and very accommodating. Salsa and chips were brought to the table immediately and refilled frequently. The restaurant has only a beer and wine license, so no luck on margaritas but they did have good pitcher deals and the sangria looked tasty. My friend and I split the shrimp quesadilla and asked them to add onions, mushrooms, and green peppers (which they did for us easily). Other orders were pretty standard beef tacos, chicken enchiladas, etc. The quesadilla was excellent - perfect balance of cheese and shrimp and veggies. Not too much cheese which I'm not a fan of. The shrimp was of decent size and tasted fairly fresh (never know what kind of shrimp you're going to get sometimes) and the veggies were sauteed and mixed in perfectly. One quesadilla plus all the Mexican rice was plenty for my friend and I to split for a light dinner and we filled up on chips and salsa as well. Great little find in an unassuming strip mall. Friendly service, casual atmosphere, and delicious food!

I rarely write an update, but every now-and-then a place deserves it - and La Fiesta after our last visit certainly does. The last time we visited (which was our first time) we did so on the recommendation of my fellow Yelpers. This time we went since we knew we would be in the area and we enjoyed it so much, previously. As it turns out, we had two of our children with us - our oldest (the daugher) and the youngest (one of three boys.) Anyway, I'm happy to report that this place is still unbelievably awesome. The service is attentive and friendly, truly several notches above many other establishments, the food was terrific, and the price is just right. My youngest (who is a picky eater even at 17) finished off his entire quesadilla plate - which was an amazing site to behold considering how finicky he can be. I highly recommend this place if your in the mood for a relaxing Mexican dinner, expecting good service, and really want to have a truly unique experience.

Okay, I am going against the grain on this one. The service is fine, but not wow-over-the-top. The $5.99 margarita was good but not buzz-worthy. The food was decent but no better or worse than Garibaldi's or El Potro. Maybe it's because I am spoiled on growing up on the West Coast with the best Mexican food anywhere but I left feeling sorta "meh" which was not what I had expected based on other reviews which were so spectacular. Points though because I ordered a carne asana taco as part of my combination dinner and did not get up charged, which I had expected.

Popped in here to kill some time/wait out the rush hour traffic....bottom line up front: just go! NOT your typical plaza mexican joint, these cats do it right, you can actually TASTE the meat/flavor, all fresh, never frozen and it's easy to tell. warm chips and home made salsa....can't find friendlier servers and met the owner too, all too nice. I say again, just go

We finally dined at this delightful restaurant in their newest location and loved it! We got there just before the weekend dinner rush, and were greeted and seated immediately. Menus, a carafe of very tasty, (if a bit watery) salsa and a basket of warm chips appeared almost immediately. The server asked if we had been there before,. When we said we hadn't, she recommended the combos for two on the front and back of the menu. We chose the one on the back ($18.00 IIRC) which came with a beef enchilada, a pork enchilada, a shredded beef chimichanga, a chicken /cheese quesadilla, and a chile rellano. Of course Mexican rice and refried beans were included.Toppings included the usual shredded iceberg lettuce, shredded cheese, and a bit of very tasty guacamole. Bottles of hot sauce were offered. Food came out promptly, looked good on the TWO plates, and good it was. In spite of the deliciousness, we two just couldn't finish it all. Is this authentic Mexican or Americanized Tex Mex? I can't say, but I can say we loved it. Only two things we DIDN'T like: 1)We could see people waiting outside to get in, and we felt like the staff was trying to rush us so they could clear the table. This type of meal, and the pitcher of ice cold Dos Eqqus beer shouldn't be rushed. 2) the chille relleno was filled with mashed potatoes. Nothing wrong with the cooking or the presentation, but it was bland and just wasn't what we wanted or expected. All in all, we enjoyed our visit to this clean, attractive restaurant, and were impressed by the cheerful, friendly, attentive service. This is definitely a place you should visit, if you're anywhere nearby. I could easily bicycle there from my house, and I'm kicking myself for waiting so long to drop in. I'll be back soon.

It was a really nice family style restaurant. It's a little slow during peak dinner time, but the food was really good.

We were out of our neighborhood on an errand and asked Siri what restaurants were nearby. La Fiesta was on the list and we like Mexican food and it a good rating so we thought we'd give it a try. And we're glad we did....good food, good prices, good service, good family atmosphere....just good, good, good all around!

Terrific neighborhood Mexican restaurant. The service was outstanding and all the food was delicious. The camarones tostada appetizer is not to be missed. The homemade habanero hot sauce offered with the meal was ultra spices and tasty. Wish I knew how to make it.

  • Kris T.

On our first visit here, we had the tostada de camarones and fajitas for two, which were both amazing. This time, I had the Burrito Mexicana and finished with the Banana Loca. We also started with the shrimp tostada this time, and I'm pretty sure that I will never come here without ordering this as an app. The burrito was the best meaty burrito that I've ever had, but it's almost exclusively meat (steak, chicken AND chorizo). If this is your thing, you must get it. It gets its name from the green, white and red trio of sauces smothering it, and they are all delicious! For dessert, this Banana Loca was outstanding. Save room for it!

Holy Amazing!! I have to start out saying wow. This place was amazing! Hands down some of the best Mexican food we've found during our travels. We arrived at 6 pm on a Friday evening and there was already a wait which was a good sign. We decided to sit at the bar and order drinks while we waited, keep in mind it's only beer and wine. They do offer a delicious Sangria for $5.99. (We had a few...) The chips and salsa were excellent, this place is extremely authentic. We sat shortly after we arrived and were immediately greeted by an extremely friendly server. The service here is spot on and some of the fastest I've ever seen. I personally ordered the Chicken Burrito topped with Queso and it was amazing. The portions here are large and the food is very reasonably priced. The food came flying out of the kitchen extremely fast, I honestly don't think we waited more than 10 minutes. I would recommend coming here 100%!! You won't be disappointed. Everything was perfect. Top notch service, drinks, food & atmosphere.

This place just opened up literally in walking distance from our house and friends recommended it, so we decided to check it out. I ordered the chicken fajitas and they were amazing. The spice rub on the chicken was incredible. The chicken was sauteed with the usual peppers and onions but they also added tomatoes and that was a huge plus for me. I absolutely love cooked tomatoes with any Latin dish. I'm not usually a fan of refried beans and rice but these had SO much flavor. The only thing that you may want to note, especially if you're ordering this as take out, they don't give you many tortillas so ask for extras :) We also ordered the shredded beef burrito which was DELISH. Again, wonderfully seasoned, tender meat. I would recommend getting their shredded beef in ANY of their options. BF got the pork tamale and devoured it before I could get a chance to try it. So, that should tell you how much he enjoyed it. They don't have a beer/wine license yet.. our server informed us that they were in the process of obtaining one. We were the only ones dining in there but there were a few people picking up to go orders. That will probably be the way we go next time. The space is a bit awkward and there are bars on the front door so if you're looking for ambiance, this isn't your place. If you're looking for a great Mexican meal however, this is it. Don't forget to ask them to try their homemade habanero sauce. It was INCREDIBLE. It was spicy but not so much that it overpowered the flavor of the actual sauce. I wish they would bottle this and sell it because I would put it on everything.

Love this place! I have never had a bad plate and take everyone to this place. I am very happy that they moved to a new location for a better atmosphere. It does get busy sometimes do go early or maybe off time if you are in a hurry. I eat at this place once a month and take whoever I can get to go.

Having lived in Texas and California, I have had more than my share of great Mexican food. La Fiesta is on point. A basket of chips and salsa arrived soon after I sat down. The salsa is tasty but very mild. They have two other hotter salsas you can ask for, a green jalapeno and a fiery orange made with Habanero chiles. I have had the chicken mole and the chicken with the diablo sauce. Both are worthy. The diablo sauce is a spicy red sauce with a smoky flavor that likely is made with chipotle chiles. Refried beans are good with a dollop of white cheese on top. The platters also come with a side of lettuce and guac. Portions are large. Service is excellent and friendly. Drinks are filled regularly. I will definitely be back.

This place is by far the BEST MEXICAN FOOD you will find in Orlando. The staff are on point and the food comes out quickly. I cannot say enough about this PHENOMENAL RESTAURANT. Every different dish I've tried is delicious in a different way. Great location and clean setting.

We had a stunningly wonderful lunch here. My partner and I split a three-choice combo meal between us, opting for a ground beef enchilada and two pork tamales. They were amazing -- the tamales were some of the best I've ever had, and the enchilada was fantastic, particularly when sprinkled with a generous helping of the green jalapeño sauce. I was a bit afraid of the sauce at first, but it turned out to have a wonderfully citrusy, spicy flavor without setting my mouth on fire. We were stuffed by the end, and the bill came out to just $15! Completely reasonable for excellent Mexican for two.

Great family owned Mexican restaurant. Located in a medical center strip plaza. Went there for a nice ladies day out after shopping. Prices were fantastic. Lunch shrimp fajitas were very tasty and so many shrimp! Definitely appreciated how generous they were with the servings. Pork tamale and chicken enchilada were delicious as well. Nothing left on the plate! Modelo and Dos Equis on draft, great drink prices. We will be back again!

Had been a local customer from the time they were located down the street from their present location, however, that all changed last night when the "Manager/male" had a major attitude when we asked to speak to a manager regarding a dish coming out unedible due to the amount of jalapenos and extreme hotness(we have ordered this dish numerous times and never been disappointed). Once our meals were delivered, no one came back until it was time to pay the check and that's when we asked to speak to the manager to have the meal removed, attitude from the manager and what we believe to be his wife ensued. Even went as far to say under his breath, maybe you shouldn't order jalapenos!! They have lost our business which was at least once a week, and our entire families business.

We have tried place after place and this place is hands down the best! It is a small restaurant with a few probably a dozen tables. It's not very conducive to large groups of 8 or more. It gets really busy on the weekends so get there early. It's also busy on week nights but you don't have to wait for a table. There is no waiting area so you end up standing next to someone eating their food

First time here tonight and it was excellent. From the friendly service to the fresh tasting ingredients, it was a great experience. I ordered the #9 combination which came with an enchilada and a tamale. Both were delicious. My husband got Fajitas Texacans which were great as well. I love that it is a family owned local business. They are going to need a bigger restaurant!

Since moving to this area I've eaten out 4 times and 2 of those times were La Fiesta, so you know it must be good. The first time was the first day they moved to the new location, I had some reservations about the service and them not having hot sauce, but it was clear that they had rushed to open after the move and weren't settled in. The second time when I went back it was a much better experience. First, the chips and salsa - the first time the salsa wasn't spicy enough, but I think it was because they couldn't find the jalapenos on their first night, because the second time the salsa was excellent. Both times I got the fajitas, once for dinner for two and once for lunch. The dinner portion was GIGANTIC...chicken, steak and shrimp and more than enough for me and the girlfriend and another meal for me (we did get the fajita's for 2, but even still, I don't eat the rice or tortillas, just the beans, meat and veggies and we still had a ton left over). The lunch portion was much cheaper for one person ($8 instead of $14), and you could tell...not in the size, but the steak was clearly a cheaper cut, and there were less sides (the dinner comes with guacamole and pico de gallo both are which are exactly as I like them). I still was able to bring enough home to make a fajita omelette the next morning, so it wasn't too bad. The other thing I have to really give them credit for, is they have gotten my order perfectly correctly both times, I am a picky eater (no carbs), and especially in restaurants like this, I get the exact opposite of what I asked for (like at that awful PR's Taco place), but not at La Fiesta, even with English being the waiter or waitresses second language, I have never had a problem getting the exact item(s) I wanted. One warning, don't get the wings...they are rubbery, the sauce was good and the wings are pretty big, but the chicken didn't taste right...stick to the Mexican food, but then again if you are going to a Mexican restaurant for wings, you can't expect much. Also, they play Spanish TV all the time, it was great to watch the world cup here in Spanish, but it got a little annoying when it was some soap opera, I would have preferred Spanish music to set the scene. Still get turned off a bit by their prices. If everything was a few bucks cheaper or they ran a special/had coupons, id come back so much more often.

Possibly the best Mexican restaurant in Orlando. Certainly among the top. Carne asada tacos were perfect. The steak flavor was evident and great, whereas most other restaurants serve chewy, char-flavored meat. Chile relleno is another recommended item here -- potatoes inside! Ice. Cold. Beer served off draught, in a pint-plus-four, frosty glass. Cheap. Well-staffed with incredibly cordial individuals. Se amo. For fans of: Torta el Rey, Taco Bus, Mexico

The people are very nice, and give you chips and salsa when seated. I had a beef taco and a pork enchilada with rice and beans. It was great and flavorful. Generous amounts of cheese. My husband had the burrito Mexicano and it was the prettiest burrito ever! I'm getting that next time.

We live down the street but only tried this place after a friend recommended it. As the hubby just said on our way out -- as I chomped on my last chips -- "We're dropping Chipotle like a bad habit." Fajitas for two were outstanding. Flavorful and a huge portion of meat, enough for 3 each. I loved the shrimp the best. The kids had chicken quesadillas and devoured them. As you can probably tell, I could not stop eating the chips. My little one does not usually eat salsa but it was so good, she dipped her fries in it. Already thinking about our next trip in.

Been trying to find good Mexican food in Orlando since I moved here last year, and this place definitely has it! Stopped in for lunch last week and everyone was extremely friendly--from the waitress to the manager, food runner, and busboy, everyone was welcoming and happy to help. I judge a place by the quality of their chips and salsa, and this did not disappoint! Chips were nice and hot, definitely fresh, and the salsa was a great mix of fresh veggies and spiciness. We had the steak and the shrimp fajitas and for the lunch special, the portions were big--the shrimp especially were huge! Flavors on both were really great and the rice and beans were so good, too! Stopped in yesterday to take away some chips and salsa and rice and beans and I was greeted with the same welcoming smiles and helpful attitudes as before. Will definitely be back soon.

Yum! I was pleasantly surprised with how much I like La Fiesta Mexican Grill. I have been to several other Mexican restaurants, and I usually leave underwhelmed by the food. However, this wasn't the case with La Fiesta Mexican Grill. The food I ordered has always been delicious. They have a huge menu with choices for everyone. The first time I stopped in I ordered the fish tacos. They were good, but the fish was a little dry. The second time I went with the enchiladas and they were great! I am happy to see they have a large vegetarian menu with lots of choices. Overall a great addition to the neighborhood.

I absolutely love this place! I get on this app just to find new places to eat in the area and admit I do not rate them but this place deserves it. Delicious!

I love this place! This is my third time to La Fiesta and I will keep coming back. The food is authentic (Like the Mexican food I used to get when I lived in Los ANgeles) and the service is just homey and lovely. It's a family business and they are super lovely people and the food is delicious. I had the Tamale every time I am there, the Ceviche was massive and the Habanero Hot Sauce I just want to take that entire bottle home with me. A must everytime you're in Orlando.

Gone to La Fiesta a few times. Love this place. The salsa is a great start to any dinner. Fajitas are really good, but their sides (rice and beans) were just ok. La Fiesta should be one of those restaurants that you keep on your shorter rotation of dinner spots.

New location (near the intersection of Curry Ford and Crystal Lake) is much nicer than their old digs. Friendly, efficient service. Great salsa - very fresh and obviously made on site. Prices, as others have noted, are a little steep for Mexican fare. But, the portions are large and the food I've sampled thus far has been great. Tasty, flavorful and with a touch of heat (because nothing is grosser than bland Mexican food). A welcome addition to the Curry Ford/Downtown South 'hood. Hope they do well. I'll definitely be going back.

The best Mexican I've found in Orlando. Don't let the bars on the windows deter you from eating here! Service is always fantastic. The restaurant is quaint and often busy with locals. The free chips and salsa are fresh and unlimited. Like most Mexican restaurants they have a lot of gluten free options but do not have a gluten free kitchen.

Came here with a friend on the recommendation from the Conway Community FB Page. The food is spectacular. Try their Sangria. I had the beef chimichangas which was recommended by the server. The service was down-home friendly and attentive. I will definitely be coming back. Looking forward my next food-fiesta at La Fiesta.

This place is wonderful! Great food, wonderful service, you feel like part of their family! They are very kind, and the food is prompt! I've been here twice now and just as impressed both times. What a gem!

If you are avoiding this restaurant because you like to have a beer with your nachos, don't! They do have a selection of beer and wines. We had cheese dip and fiesta salsa as an appetizer. The cheese dip was a white cheese full of flavor. The salsa had the perfect amount of heat to wake up the taste buds. For dinner, I had a chile relleno and tamale that came with Spanish rice and refried beans. The chile relleno was stuffed with a white cheese. The chile had a nice heat to it, but the cheese was quite bland. I enjoyed the tamale. The rice was moist and the beans had a good flavor to them. Oh! And I enjoyed a nice sangria with my dinner.

So, after winning our first ever "tamale off", we had to give La Fiesta a try for dinner. In fact, we have been back here a couple of times since for dinner, including once with a good friend. The new location is really nice. The service is excellent and all the food we have tried is delicious. We have had the carnitas burrito, tacos el pastor, chicken burrito, cheese enchiladas and all were fresh and delicious. The only thing that would make this place even more perfect would be if you could get a beer or glass of wine to go with your food. We highly recommend this place for some solid mexican food.

Great food! Gets busy here. Small on a place, big on taste. Reasonably priced. Just needs margaritas.

This deserves an update because I had the most LEGIT and DELICIOUS fajitas I've ever had the other night. I shared the Fajitas for Two meal. For $23.99 you get SO MUCH food. The fajitas included shrimp, beef, and chicken. All three were cooked to perfection and the seasoning was lovely. Each of us also got a plate of rice, refried beans, lettuce, salsa, and guacamole. So. Much. Food. They include three soft tortillas, but the waiter asked if we'd like more. I was so stuffed I couldn't! Definitely give their fajitas a try. Delish!

I normally am not a fan of Mexican food, usually because it's a big cheesy/greasy mess. But this place had a big menu with lots of options! I got the pollo asada and enjoyed every bite. My boyfriend got the burritos Blancos and I even liked his dish! Chips and salsa are plentiful and tasty!

We just moved to Orlando about 4 months ago and have been searching for a delicious, neighborhood Mexican restaurant. La Fiesta had great reviews and it did not disappoint! My burritos were delicious and the cheese sauce on top just set it off perfectly. My boyfriend had shrimp and steak fajitas that were amazing and a huge portion. He almost ordered a double portion because he can eat so much, but he didn't have to! It is a lovely atmosphere with delicious food and we will be back!

Authentic Mexican at a great price! The salsa is always on point and fresh, along with the chips. Everything on the menu is great- I usually go with the tacos or taco salad. The shells are baked in store and have a tasty crunch to them. The family who owns this place is always friendly. They're always attentive when refilling our drinks or chips.

We moved into the Conway/Downtown South area just a few weeks ago. After a recommendation from a friend that this place had the absolute best Mexican food in Orlando we knew we had to give it a shot. Ok, let's start from the beginning. We walk in on a Friday night, it's raining and the place is PACKED. Nothing spectacular to report on the decor, the same kind of dive-y, hole-in-the-wall Mexican joint I expected. We squeeze into a booth in the corner and were greeted immediately by a very friendly host (pretty sure he was the manager.) We order drinks, and get some chips and salsa. The Salsa = AHHMMAAZING. It had the perfect amount of heat, cilantro, onion and spices. You could tell it was made in house and not store bought. The chips were warm and fresh with the perfect amount of salt. I ordered a beef taco and a pork enchilada (covered in queso, seriously it's worth the extra .89) and my boyfriend got the steak something or other. The food came out in a timely fashion and it was all DELICIOUSSSS. The ground beef in my taco was seasoned perfectly and very delicious. The taco was topped with the most incredible Mexican cheese I've ever tasted in my LIFE. I can't get over it. It was rich, creamy and had great flavor. The enchilada tortilla was super fresh- you could taste it was homemade. The pork inside was absolutely mouthwatering and delicious; it tasted like they pan seared it right before putting it in the tortilla. And of course, I got mine smothered in that delicious cheese I mentioned before. Like, honestly the best freaking enchilada I've ever had in my entire life. Ok, on to the rest of the meal. Both our meals were served with your typical rice and beans. Except there was NOTHING typical about the rice and beans! I've never in my life had Spanish rice as good what La Fiesta serves up. It's indescribable. Most Spanish rice is dry, boring, lacking any real flavor and put on your plate as a filler. This stuff is moist, full of flavor and truly an experience in itself. The re-fried beans were tasty and topped with that same delectable cheese mentioned above. My boyfriend got this DELICIOUS steak (no clue what the name was) that was covered in WHOLE roasted jalapeno peppers. It was spicy, flavorful and truly a delicious experience. We talked to the manger toward the end of our meal to simply thank him for such a remarkable, delicious, small business dining experience. He told us that they get their cheeses imported from THREE different places across the country and it's delivered a few times a week! Their steaks marinate for hours and sometimes overnight and their pork is all homemade and roasted in house. I'm not only impressed, but a customer for life! It was so good, we ended up going back for lunch the next day! This place is the real deal and totally worth your time and money.

This is our go to when we are craving Mexican; being from Texas we love our Tex Mex & this satisfies that craving. I typically get the beef enchiladas or fajitas which are both awesome...the rice & beans are amazing (I steal my husbands when he's not looking because they are THAT good). Service is friendly & typically pretty quick...it is a small space so I would avoid going on a Friday or Saturday at 7pm if you have a larger group or wanting to get in & out.

This place is excellent, by far the best Mexican in orlando. The carne asada tacos were amazing. The steak was tender and juicy, well seasoned and great portions. I was excited to see they had beer on draft and it was a delicious 22oz pour of ice cold negra modelo for $4!! The service is great and very attentive. I will be making this a new regular!!

La Fiesta is the crown jewel of Curry Ford Road's casual restaurant row. Good food, friendly service, fast preparation, and good value. I love the complimentary salsa carafes and the inexpensive Modelo Especial. I always get the burrito/taco lunch special but the shrimp plates look fantastic. I may expand my horizons for the new year.

I decided to try this place out for lunch today, and I admit I was skeptical! The location hasn't been able to keep a restaurant in it for more than a year...I am SO Glad I tried it! I can honestly say it was some of the most flavorful Mexican I have had in a long time. I ordered the combo fajitas and was impressed not only with the portion size and price(8.99), but the flavor of both the chicken and steak was delicious. I even ate some of the refried beans ( I am usually not a big bean fan but forgot to sub them out) and I will say they were tasty! I don't think I would sub them out next time after trying them today. The staff was super friendly, the prices were fair, and the taste was awesome! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because i haven't been more than once to see consistency ...... Yet!

I'm not usually a big fan of Mexican food but this is the best I've had in Orlando. Family owned and operated, the food is terrific. Tip. Get the fajitas for 1 and extra tortillas. You will have food left over.

La Fiesta Mexican Grill is located in the same spot as Senor Frogs, a now defunct restaurant. I really liked Senor Frogs so I was sorry to see that go, however I think La Fiesta is even better. When I first entered the restaurant, I was the only one there so I asked the owner if they were open and he said yes, they had been open for about 2 hours. The owner came right over handed me a menu and took my drink order. They will have fountain drinks, but only had canned / bottled drinks today which was fine. He also brought chips & salsa and I order queso cheese dip. Queso dip was very good, not too spice despite having a few jalapenos. For lunch I order a Speedy Gonzales, which consisted of a taco and enchilada. I prefer beef rather than chicken, but I'm sometimes leery of ordering beef in a Mexican restaurant because it can be greasy. However, their menu said they only used lean ground beef so I gave it a shot. Rice also accompanied the taco and enchilada. It took what seemed like 5 minutes for the food to arrive, piping hot. Everything was very tasty. The enchilada sauce had good favoring without too much spice, the taco was nice and crunchy, and the rice was flavorful. The cost was $5.99 (lunch price). They had quite a few 'simple' Mexican dishes at $5.99, bigger entrees at $6.99, and items such as fajitas for $7.99. All of these are lunch prices with the dinner prices being slightly higher.

Had an amazing experience! We got the enchiladas and tacos al pastor their rice is so fluffy and flavorful unlike most Mexican restaurants. The refried beans are so delicious. The entrees were to die for both were packed with flavor and were just so awesome! Definitely coming back.

Food is absolutely delicious! I had the chimichangas which were so good. The others in my group has quesadillas and burritos to which they said they were fantastic. The only complaint I have is the salsa is a bit thin. Not as hearty as I like but It was still good. The service was good too. We got our food really quick and were getting refills right away. All in all, this will be my new goto place for Mexican food.

Great prices, fast service, chill atmosphere, and *amazing* food. The mushroom quesadilla is the best quesadilla I've ever had. All of the food was very fresh and authentic.

This place is fairly new after a couple of other places did not make it here. They have cleaned up the inside and made it cozy and more inviting than it was. The staff were great and appear to be the owners. They serve good, Tex Mex style food. The prices seemed a bit higher than average for the area.

Great place. We came here on recommendation from other friends and we were not let down. Salsa was tasty, the chicken and steak was great. Service was very kind and fast. Honestly, I have to give this place five stars because it is consistently delicious, they use quality ingredients and have a great staff and customer service. This has become one of my friends and family's go to spots. I live in NY which has everything, yet I still find myself craving La Fiesta and eat there as many times I can when I visit home. This is some of the best authentic Mexican I have ever had, and that's a lot!!!

This place is absolutely amazing and authentic. Fairly priced, the staff is extremely friendly, it's not very noisy, the service and food is great and fast. And their flan is delicious. I will definitely be making this place one of my regulars

Ate at La Fiesta for the first time. Came in 5 minutes before close, not realizing that until too late. Mortified we may be keeping these folks from their cozy beds, we offered to come back another day. "No, stay.. we still have plenty of people here", the hostess said. I'm so glad we did. THE BEST Mexican food I have had in years. Had the chili relleno. My husband had the shrimp quesadilla. My son had encilladas. Everyone agreed it was amazing. Fresh salsa and warm chips. Awesome service. Clean. All at 5 minutes to close on a Wednesday. This will be my new go to spot. Cant recommend enough.

This place is great! They have real Mexican dishes and some Americanized type dishes. The chips and dip are wonderful. And if you like hot sauce, try their habanero hot sauce, it is awesome.

Overall great experience! The chips were fresh and the salsa was delicious. The cheese dip was on point! Super yummy. The fajitas were a bit expensive, but fantastic. Definitely left stuffed. Service was fast and friendly. It seems like a nice family owned place. We didn't have dessert, but the dessert menu looks amaaaaazing. I'll have to come back and get even more happy fat next time

After spending the day at the Orlando Science Center our whole family was starving. Thank you Yelpers for sending us to this restaurant! Everything was delicious. The kids had enchiladas, I had the fish tacos and my husband had steak with a delicious tomatillo sauce that was amazing. The chips were warm and the salsa fresh. We were too full for dessert! If we are ever back in Orlando we would definitely go back.

Great Mexican food. Fresh chips and salsa. Delicious thick white cheese dip. Flavorful shredded chicken for all your favorite dishes and my husband LOVED the carnitas. The service was fantastic and fast. BYOB for alcohol. The best part was my nine year order two tacos off the dinner menu and the server only charged us for a kids meal. We will be back many times.

I didn't get the chance to dine-in. So i will only rate this based on it's taste and price and variety. My fave in orlando is still Border Grill. However, this place is right under them as far as taste. Everything was fresh, all the sides were separated when we got it to-go. They gave us plenty of chips and salsa. I got the Burrito Deluxe and Combo Tacos (pork, chicken, and steak). Both entrees were delicious and filling. They were each 10 bucks, which wasn't too bad, but they could lower them for lunch specials. Coming from Cali, i have high expectations on mexican food, but this place wasn't bad at all. It also takes about 12-15 mins to receive your food, which isn't too bad, but could be better. Also, what's up with not having a Torta?! a mexican food joint that doesn't have a torta, is like mcdonalds not having a quarter pounder. Their alternative.... an american sandwich?! booo. Other than that, the burrito and tacos were good. i'd come back to see how my dine-in experience is and we'll see if my ratings for this place changes.

This place is awesome!! Do not pass it thinking it is like the past restaurants in the same location! Everything is good! My favorite is the fajitas trio for two!!!! Tons of food that could feed three and taste amazing. Also ask for their home made hot sauces!

Figured I'd check out La Fiesta since I live in the area and was in the mood for some Mexican food. As far as I know, this place recently opened as there was a Peruvian restaurant in the same space for some time. Firstly, you should know that they do not yet even have a beer/wine license so if you are looking for a pre-dinner drink or wine with dinner, forget it unless you bring your own. Now on to the food & service. Ordered guacamole as an appetizer. Not at all good. Very bland and not prepared table-side. Had to add salt. Did not come with sliced limes on the side either. Then had carne asada as the main course. Unlike the guacamole, beautifully seasoned and prepared. Also quite a nice sized steak and well worth the price of $10.99. HOWEVER - as I am on a mostly gluten-free diet, I asked if I could substitute French fries for the tortillas that come with the steak. They said they'd have to charge me $1.99 extra for a small order. I mean, Really???!! It's not as if I was asking to substitute a meat dish or even green vegetables for the tortillas. I paid the extra $1.99 and then told them to leave the tortillas off my plate. To their credit, when they asked how I had enjoyed the food, I told them that the guacamole was not great. They took the charge for the French fries off the bill because the waiter said the owner did not want me to pay extra if I didn't enjoy the guacamole. Strange, since it was the guac I didn't like, not the French fries. But, whatever.....it was a nice gesture just the same. I would go back to La Fiesta but honestly, this place has a long way to go in order to compete with, for example, Garibaldi's which is close by and has far superior food and service. ( With Beer and Wine to boot! )

Super friendly owner and staff. The salsa was good, but just a bit too tomatoey for me. I had a nacho lunch and our daughter had 2 tacos with rice and beans. All was standard American versions of Mexican food, and I enjoyed it. We will be back!

To begin I did not eat here. I am originally from San Antonio Texas where amazing Mexican food can be found on every corner. When in SA I frequent a few different places that make fresh tamales. After reading a few reviews on yelp I decided to give this place a try. I went in to order a dozen tamales, which in San Antonio averages about $7. I read this places was a bit expensive so I figured it would be about $10-15. Well to my surprise it came to $22! That's more than 3 times what I am used to paying. That is absurd!!!!

Was not impressed with this place at all. Tee A/C didn't work. They were short staffed. I ordered 2 tacos and all they had in them was meat and cheese. What kind of taco is that for $10.00??? I don't think so. We won't be back.

Great lunch today. Lots of good for the price. The beef quesadilla was the best. The carnitas were good but needed a little something else to spice then up. I'll be back for sure.

This new place is incredible! Such a fantastic Mexican restaurant! The owners are incredibly wonderful and welcoming. Fresh salsa and chips are served when you're seated. You have option of flour or corn tortillas - highly recommend the corn. They also serve lunch portions seven days a week from 11am - 4pm with great prices. Even the lunch portion provided a large serving. Love this place! Can't wait to go back.

Stopped in for quick take out. The food was fantastic! Chips, salsa, mex rice, all great. I had a quesadilla and flautas. both exceeded expectations. Ever since Girabaldi grew and became more corporate I've looked for a new favorite local mom and pop Mex place. So glad this little gem is in my neighborhood. I will definitely be back!

This place is so great, I would give them 10 stars if I could. The food is incredible and you just can't beat the prices! The owners are awesome; so friendly and accommodating. Try it! You won't be disappointed!

We have been trying to find a Mexican restaurant that made decent tamales. I believe we have found a winner folks!! I liked the ones at a little hole in the wall place a few years back but they went out of business. And we have tried the food at Garibaldi's (disappointing as of late, sadly) & Taco El Rancho (good, but a little too spicy for our taste). I ordered a combo to include a cheese enchilada, chile relleno, & a pork tamale that was served with refried beans & rice. My partner had the Burrito Mexicano platter & it was very filling & tasty. The fresh hot chips with the tasty salsa was just right... not too spicy. I wanted to try the queso dip, but was a little disappointed. I added some of the salsa & it perked right up though. We came in just before the beginning of the usual weekly supper hour & were the only ones for a brief time. But even when it got busy we were still treated wonderfully. Our waiter treated us like long time customers. They did not have beer or wine, but our waiter told us they would be moving within days up the street & they would have the license to serve the beer & wine!! Can't wait to go back & see what they do with the new location up the block.

The service was okay. Got the sampler for two and cheese dip. The queso had a little bit of spice aftertaste, and didn't taste good cold which is how we got it. The meal was fine but nothing special. A little overpriced for what you get. The chimichanga was probably the best out of the sample plate, not too bland, also not spicy.

La Fiesta offers authentic Mexican food at a very fair price with good portions! Comes with bottomless chips and salsa- you can request spicier salsa, the habanero was pretty deliciouso. Wait time was almost immediate food came out in about 10 minutes! Service was great, kind people.. I will totes mcgoats be back!

Visited today with my daughters. While not a very big Resturant, the atmosphere and service were excellent. One of my favorite Mexican dishes is carnitas. One of the best examples is found here. It was amazing. Check it out!

I love this place. Like, I LOVE it. If I could marry a restaurant, I would ask for La Fiesta's father's permission to propose. Do restaurants have fathers? Probably not. But La Fiesta does, and that father is God. Tacos from Heaven, folks. TACOS. FROM. HEAVEN.
