Food was good some of the best IHop food I have had in a awhile. Our waiter was very polite and took good care of us. Unfortunately I can only give three stars do to the place being very unclean. There were some employees who were more concerned with chit chat then cleaning the dinning area. However next time I'm in that area I will most likely give it another go.

Had a wonderful meal. Line of course was long but that should be expected when you're in a tourist town. Rashid was an excellent waiter

Good breakfast and even better service. Sirloin tip breakfast tasted yummy and you can't go wrong with waffles! Joyce was cheerful and friendly. I think we need to come back for dinner.

Seated at 7:45pm by staff. We left after 10 minutes of waiting and the place was empty with only a few people there. I would avoid this specific location. Maybe they don't do well during slow times.

The waitress Monica was the best. The store is high volume because it's attached to a motel but the crew did a good job at getting people in and out!

We came around 1am on a holiday weekend & we were a party of 4. They sat us down quickly, but after that it went downhill. They took about 10 minutes before anyone even came by our table. Once we ordered our drinks, 1 of our glasses of water had lemonade residue. They also forgot 1 of our drinks & brought us water instead. The mozzarella sticks were too chewy & the pancakes not your typical I-Hop good pancakes, at all. We waited over 5 minutes after our food was served before we got the side of pancakes. There was only 1 Asian waiter handling all of the tables in our area while all the waitresses were just sitting around or killing time & eventually all left. By far, the worse I-Hop any of us have ever been to.

The worst service at an IHOP. The place is really small and it was packed on Sunday morning but that doesn't mean the orders should all be wrong.

    (1)
  • Steve P.

Pancakes were chewy scrambled eggs Tasted grainy, as if made from some kind of mix. Person with me had hard fried eggs that looked better. Bacon soft and greasy. Have eaten at better ihops. Not sure what the problem was here.

Food was cold, took way too long for it to come out. Service was not as I've come to expect for Ihop. Very disappointed.

Let's see, i had the Colorado omlete with pancakes and coffee. The meal was not that good. It arrived hot however the omlet was overcooked and there was a large chunk of meat on the plate that had not been cut up, shredded or diced into the omlet. I don't think that was the way it was supposed to be served. The pancakes were thin and not as light and fluffy as you would expect in a good pancake. The services was ok but harried since the place was full and there were no empty seats. Cleanliness was ok as they struggled to clear tables for arriving guests. Overall, not a great IHOP.

Why does this place have a 2 star rating? That is crazy! These guys on the cooking line can kick out some food and they do it in a packed restaurant without any complaining. They are actually happy while they are under a huge amount of pressure to get all of the food out and have it be correct. Plus the up front staff dealing with hangry people that want a table fast do a fantastic job and keep their cool. I don't know who the local person who put this team together was or if it just happened but these guys are great. I haven't been impressed with most of the places I have eaten while in town but I can tell you I have been here 4 times now. The corporate office in my opinion should do something nice for these guys with everything they do and deal with. Anytime I come back to Orlando I will be sure to have breakfast here.

Oh boy, this IHOP was a huge disappointment. The restaurant was empty, which should have been our first clue. There was only one waitress who seemed to be doing ALL the work. She seated us, got our drinks, then after taking our order, proceeded to COOK the food!! This poor girl worked her tail off! She was friendly but seriously, the restaurant was understaffed. I had dried food on my plate and lipstick on my napkin! The turkey avocado meal was sketchy, as the avocado peeling had not been removed! Ugh

  • Herschel G.

Ok, so I know we were in Orlando... in the summertime (July)... on a Sunday. But my God, an hour wait to be seated!? It wouldn't have been SO bad had there been some semblance of an actual waiting area instead of a cramped doorway and a couple of benches outside in the searing Florida heat. But back to the wait time, because I really feel the need to paint a picture here. After about 25 minutes I attempted to maximize our time since we had plans after breakfast. I left my wife, kids, nieces, nephews and in-laws at the restaurant to drive across the street and get some gas (at a station that was also ridiculously packed). When I returned 30 minutes later, half of my family (yes, I said half) was JUST getting seated. When they finally seated me and the other half of our party on the other side of the restaurant, that's when I noticed the almost third-worldly feel of the dining room. You see, there seemed to be no rhyme or reason to how the place was laid out. Most restaurants--even busy ones--have booths and tables organized in such a way that you actually feel like you're having a meal with only the people who came there with you. There are defined walkways between the tables for the servers to move about and for patrons to actually have a little space. This place was packed like a bus station somewhere in the foothills of *insert underdeveloped country here*. The carpet smelled like wet dogs, and we were literally elbow to elbow and back to back with the families next to and behind us. The server had one little space to stand between the tables to take our order, and when our food was delivered the poor girl was relegated to the "take one and pass it down method" because she couldn't reach everyone. I didn't want to eat at all, but I was already part of a captive audience and didn't feel like arguing with my wife about why I had lost my appetite. So I ordered the chicken and waffles with scrambled eggs. My scrambled eggs: burnt. How the heck do you burn scrambled eggs at a place that specializes in breakfast? Our server was very nice though and got the cook to make me some more.... which didn't show up until I was done with the rest of my food. My waffle: lukewarm and soggy. I know pancakes are your cash cow, but come on, I've had better Eggos. My chicken (fingers): barely warm, greasy... and a teensy bit on the gray side. Regardless, I tried to finish them. But after I spit out a hunk of gristle, I was done. If you look at my Yelp history, you'll see that I am a rather frequent IHOP customer. So I'm going to hold onto the hope that this visit was an aberration. But if you're going to operate a restaurant in one of America's most popular vacation cities, you've got to do better guys. Expand and upgrade your dining room (I know you're making enough money), and practice better quality control of your food. From now on when we're on vacation, we will start checking out the mom and pop diners for breakfast. I can't say I've ever been disappointed in their food quality, and since they're not name brand franchises, they're sure to be a lot less packed.

Here is your typical IHOP in a good location in Orlando. The service is quick and the food is fine. Good for a quick bite to eat for brunch before you hit the parks. Pancakes were yummy and the omelette and coffee were good as well.

  • T F.

Wait was longer than estimated. Service was average. Three or four entrees were average. One entree had a long hair in it found almost right away. Took twice as long to remake the entree. So one person sitting while others eating slowly and trying not to feel guilty. No offer to discount.Lack of condiments on table. Service person took out the trash and didn't appear to sanitize hands before busing a table There was a server apology at the end but overall, no desire to ever return.

  • Allan L.

The manager should charge extra to allow diners to sit at the counter and watch the action as Torey and the other cooks do their thing. Their work area is pressure-filled, crowded and noisy but as you watch the "show" unfold you'll see that it's a well-choreographed set of sequences that results in a hot meal heading out to a diner. Bravo !

Yes its a chain and yes its in a tourist-town, but that is not a requirement to be well below sub-par. The food is the typical IHOP fare, but the service is horribly lacking. The restaurant is packed and dirty. No one is ever around to take names for seating (leaving everyone to fend for themselves). My wife and I stopped in for breakfast and was told it would 10 minutes and given a pager. Half an hour later, everyone who had come in after us were all seated. We tried to track someone down to ask about the wait and they said the pagers don't really work. We sat down, finally, at a sticky, dirty table and periodically saw a waitress. Although we did get a good show of the waitresses arguing in the "kitchen" which is open in front of everyone. My wife and I each ordered an omelet, however, they came out 10 minutes apart, despite seeing one sitting under a heat lamp the whole time. If you're going to have an open kitchen like that, it should at least be a well performing one. Add in the terrible parking situation (its attached to a hotel so if the hotel is full the spots are full). I'd strongly advise not stopping in here and keep on driving.

Considering this is a chain and I really enjoy the IHOP's in Ohio, I thought this would be a safe bet. I was wrong. The set up is similar to the Waffle House. We were seated right away which is good because they had no room to wait. We were seated right next to the kitchen and had to listen to the waiters/waitresses complain about their jobs. Still, the waitress was friendly and attentive. I ordered the Pick a Pancake combo - Strawberry Banana pancakes, egg whites, hash browns, bacon. The eggs were completely inedible - they tasted like fish. The rest of the food was cold and greasy. I have no qualms with the wait staff but the set up and the food quality were terrible. Definitely stay away from this place.

We visited here upon coming directly from the airport. Late night the place was empty. Upon entering the place smelled like my dog when he really needs a bath. Seriously. I have a strong sense of smell but this place was offensive. It smelled like stale pee. Food was nothing to write home about. Less than what I expected. The open area was run by the Chef who didn't really look or act much like a chef. A bit in the slob side with his shirt tail hanging out of his pants. The one saving this from being zero stars was the waiter. He was from Guam. Nice friendly and took time with us. He's a keeper but it's too bad the place is filthy, run down, and smelled like my dog, Bushkis, on a bad hair day.

Got our order so wrong it's not even funny. Charged us for something they didn't have. They substituted those items for something worth $2. Horrible service. Long wait time and inaccurate orders.

  • Sonya M.

Our server was nice, but the restaurant was dirty and had the faint smell of urine throughout, it was gross. The table felt a bit grimy, there was chaos in the kitchen prep area...never going back there again. I love IHOP, but the one at this location is terrible!!

    (1)
  • Beth D.

Typically, I'm an IHOP fan, especially when traveling. This one, however, was gross. The floor under our booth was filthy. Worse was the kitchen prep area we could see from our table. I had to force myself to look away or I wouldn't have been able to eat my meal. Speaking of my meal, turns out I hardly ate it. I ordered one of their Simple & Fit menu items which was supposed to have turkey bacon, egg beaters and minimal butter. I'm not convinced that's what I got. The bacon tasted like regular bacon and was greasier than any turkey bacon I've had. It didn't quite look like my husband's bacon order so it could have been turkey bacon but I doubt it. The eggs were super buttery so again I doubt that I got what I ordered. On the plus side, my pancakes were good but it's hard to ruin pancakes.

Well with the option of McDonalds or IHOP for a quick bite we decided to try IHOP, our first visit to the intriguingly named 'International House of pancakes' ! Upon entering we were met with the simple diner style layout, with a good number of customers and a lot of staff busy working over hot plates. We checked the breakfast focussed menu, spotted some tasty evening items and asked for a table and that is when our IHOP experience went downhill. Our server quickly took our 'no coke products' drink order and then vanished, reappearing 15 mins later with drinks..ready to take our order...2 chicken tender and fries meals, one Philly steak sandwich with onion rings and a BLT with fries. Whoosh ... Our server vanished again ! We quietly slurped our semi-flat soft drinks whilst risking whiplash looking around to see where our Harriet Potter wizard server had evaporated too...20 mins later two chicken tender meals arrived...hot tenders but cold soggy sad looking fries, clearly undercooked and horrible - hard to understand how any kitchen would allow customers be served such disgusting food. As soon as Ms Potter had come she was gone... Once more we scanned the IHOP landscape for Harriet P but alas no sign, time marched on and we waited for the remaining two dishes to arrive, when they did we pointed about that the fries resembles cold noodles and not hot fries, Harriet said she'd bring back fresh fries.we started into our meals, the Philly Steak sandwich was fine, however the onion rings were so deep fried they were a health risk, with nearby cardiac wards staying on standby ! The BLT sandwich was cut by Edward Scissorhands, one half of the bread in triangle the other square, no mayo (ran out apparently) one slice of tomatoe and a lettuce leaf ... Yum ! 20 mins later our new fries arrived hot but stodgy...rounding off a very poor meal that cost $50 ... Hard to believe the cost, poor food and service and we won't be back. IHOP ? IDONTTHINKSO !

If I could give it 0 stars I would. Our waitress had a terrible cold, and shouldn't have been handling anyone's food. I ordered French toast which tasted terrible and I had no idea French toast could ever taste bad. I could hardly eat it. My friend ordered plain pancakes that were equally bland and unappetizing. We were given a coffee carafe but no mugs. We were only given one set of silverware and so we asked for another set and by the time it was given to us, I had already finished my sorry excuse for a meal with a spoon. We finished in a matter of minutes and only wanted the check to get out of that hell hole but unfortunately it took another 15 minutes to get our waitress' attention. Worst. IHOP. Ever.

    (1)
  • Jennifer H.

45 minute wait for food, complete chaos & no one seemed to care. Waiters never checked on people during that 45 minute wait. For pancakes. If you have a choice, go elsewhere.

Pancakes and French toast, still raw inside... Big steak omelette missing mushrooms and fell apart at the first cut... Oh, and the service sucked...

  • Frini G.

If you want to come here for an early breakfast, don't bother. There claim to be 24 hours is bogus! Went to this IHOP at 4:15am, and there was no one in site. Wound up going to the McDonalds across the street.

  • Fj F.

Went here after getting off a bus from Miami. Positives: water and coffee were topped up quickly. Host was really nice guy. Not so positives: they somehow forgot to make my omelette and server didn't realise until 3-5 minutes after the person I was with had got their food. So took another 6-8 minutes after that. Was really frustrating to be honest. We were sat on the counter and there was a lot of food sitting on the side without being run to the tables. Its fair to say that confusion reigned. EVERY restaurant has bad days. I'm just hoping this was a particularly bad one for them

    (1)
  • Lindsay P.

Horrible. I love IHOP but this location was absolutely atrocious. The staff was not only frantic and disorganized during the busy breakfast hour but the server messed up our order and the food looked like an absolute mess. Needless to say, he didn't receive a tip. I never do that but I was extremely displeased.

    (1)
  • Alex F.

Horrible experience, a waste of an hour of my life. We were hear at 12:30pm on a Friday. Table was dirty, place was extremely crowded and loud. Coffee was cold twice. Service was very slow. When we finally got food, my waffle was burned and the food-eggs and sausage was completely cold for myself and partner. Ridiculous. We decided to leave, hungry and having wasted our time. Don't bother with this ****hole.

Seriously...Keep driving and spend your money elsewhere. Thought we would stop in as we realized the original place we wanted to go was a little too far out of the way. The place was packed, probably due to the fact that they are connected to a hotel (Days Inn). Sat at the bar as the wait for a regular table would have been a 20 minute wait; which was ok because we could see all the meals being made, prepped, served, and dishes cleaned right in front of our eyes. I don't think I ever saw so much sloppy butter greased onto the griddle - right before the 'egg whites' or 'egg substitute' for all those trying to eat a little healthier. I ordered my eggs poached and they had to have been the worst things to come across my plate. I could smell the vinegar before the plate even landed on the table. There was not enough pepper, salt, condiment out there to hide the bitterness that I could not even eat them. I have had many poached eggs at restaurants where the vinegar measurement has been off and the there is a slight taste to the egg of vinegar and it is easily taken care of with salt & pepper. This was terrible. Waited quite a while for our breakfast and for it to turn out not so good. Oh, the kitchen is so small they were putting orders for customers to go out on the counter by me (what if I sneezed) kind of gross, right?

    (1)
  • Monica B.

Wish I would have known the reviews first. This is a cramped version of IHOP.. Mini open kitchen & small areas to dine, if u are more than 4 go somewhere else. Service was slow & without a heat lamp to keep your food hot it's a toss up if you get the place warm. Food was mediocre, skip this joint and go somewhere else since there are so many other places close by.

    (2)
  • Susan P.

Disgusting. You'd think that with an open kitchen they'd exhibit sanitary habits. We witnessed a server pull a dirty rag out of a bucket of water, dump the visibly dirty water, refill the bucket and continue to clean tables with dirty rag. An apron (dirty?) was ripped to create rags to wipe off plates before placing food on them. Whipped cream was left out. Greasy surfaces were visible. We lost our appetite so left without eating. Stay away.

Food and Waitress was excellent at this place Saturday morning. A very busy place, tables all full but our waitress "Joyce" was absolutely the perfect waitress. She knew her job and did it as good as I have ever seen anyone do it. She made the meal good. The food was okay --- the usual pancakes, bacon, eggs, etc. nothing special, but at least everything was cooked to order and hot and tasty. This IHOP is very small. (An old Waffle House attached to a Days Inn). The bathroom was out of order so we had to go all around the hotel, to the pool side bathroom! That was very inconvenient and hopefully will not be an issue for very long.

Even a bit of a step down for an IHOP. Food and facility a 3 Star, wait staff is a pure 5 Stars!!!

    (3)
  • Paula A.

I can't give this iHop zero stars? Coffee spilled on us, servers talking bad about other tables, lousy service, crappy food. That about covers it. Its like they they crammed an iHop into a RV. A sad, gross RV.

    (1)
  • Quin K.

This particular IHOP is tiny, but the employees are efficient and pleasant. They quoted a wait time which was close to spot on. The food was good and what you would expect from any IHOP.

Can't say enough about how friendly, attentive, personable, sweet and funny our waitress, Heritor, was during our breakfast visit. So much did we enjoy our time with Heritor that our boys requested we return each morning and ask for the same waitress. Oh, if only all serving staff were this great! Thanks IHOP Orlando, and thanks Heritor! You're the best! You were such a delightful bright spot for our holiday visit.

Whattayawant? It is a chain. At least you get to watch them cook. It's entertaining to watch them bump into each other. Eggs and bacon are the same everywhere. Nothing special at all.

Only my second IHOP experience, and I have yet to be disappointed. Great food, great service.

    (5)
  • Leanna H.

Food was typical IHOP. Good, fast, decent. The service my family got was fantastic, though! They might have gotten a 3 star rating, but because they were all so friendly, and oriented toward getting things right (they had some issues with the waffle maker, and rather than making me wait, made my entire meal twice!), I had to give them 4 stars! Also nice that the kids meals were free... I'm surprised others had negative things to say, but maybe this IHOP has changed its service!

    (4)
  • Anna M.

The food was fine, my server was good. But what ruined this whole experience was another server who kept on getting on other's server's cases about her not getting enough tables. When I worked at Perkin's each person had their own spot, if you saw a server hadn't been to a customer in a certain amount of time, you nabbed it. If she would work instead of getting on other people's cases she'd have her share of tables. If she had a issue she should have taken it in the back not in front of paying customers.

Came to this IHOP which is tucked onto the side of a Days Inn hotel. We had walked on foot from the convention center across the urban wasteland of humid parking lots, and had trouble finding it. Met up with our friends who were already seated and got seated right away at the table next to them. Our server was friendly and quick, and when two of our friends left the main table, he let us move over to the bigger table. I got some sort of chicken sandwich and onion rings, and was disappointed in the sandwich, and the onion rings just felt so greasy on my gut that i didn't finish them all (and i like onion rings). I was reminded why I don't go to IHOP normally ever. But I didn't pick to go here. Bleh. meh. on food. decent service.

TERRRIBLE!! Terrible food and service. The only reason why we ate there is because it was open when we checked into our hotel (midnight) ad we were starving!! Don't waste your money! There is a Denny's up the street. We didn't eat there, but I'm sure it's way better than this place!

    (1)
  • Nathan R.

Was good. Our waiter Jerry was great. Our food was hot and quick. The staff was friendly. I do not eat at IHOP often if at all, so I can not compare it to other Ihop's but in general it was clean, friendly and the service was great.

In Orlando on vacation with family. Visited this IHOP on a Saturday morning before heading to Legoland. There were 7 of us, 4 adults & 3 kids. It was busy so we expected a wait but it took over an hour to get our food. Waitress never checked on us to see if we wanted more coffee, refills, crackers...anything!!! Then when waitress finally did bring food, she knocked the water over causing it to splatter on everyone. We assumed we'd see at least a discounted bill. Nope! We asked and the floor manager gave us 10%. Finally the store manager came out but after going back and forth only agreed to a discount of 15%. Horrible experience & customer service. There are TONS of restaurants to choose from in the area. Do yourself a favor and eat breakfast somewhere else!

Worst ihop ever. Cold undercooked food. Had to send back twice. And I never send food back.

  • Ari A.

Don't eat here the service is horrible. The food was mediocre however the service was ridiculous. The manager was literally standing right next to my table on the other side of the counter. I tried three times to get his attention before he gave me an attitude when I asked him if he could get my table our check. (Our waiter was nowhere to be found) He displayed a very annoyed attitude and hollered at another waitress to go find our waitress. I found that ridiculous with such a small restaurant.

    (1)
  • John L.

Not great the waffle house is much better they dont seem to have a good handle on how to get it done when it is busy. And my pancakes were cold not good when you are ihop

Great pancakes and eggs. Service ok but for the price can't beat it. Lots of healthy options too which taste good.

My family and I are regulars (once per week) at our iHop at home in TX. We decided to look for one while on vacation in the Orlando area. This was the closest one to the hotel, and was in the convention center area. Once you enter, the place looks like it is 40 years old. That should have been our clue, but we had 3 hungry kids. We decided to give them the benefit of our doubt. BIG MISTAKE! The food here was not up to snuff even for the world of short order cooks. Eggs were greasy, and worse the pancakes were flat (like paper flat). Our waitress also was unfriendly, unhelpful, and untipped (well I did leave here a tip, but boy I wanted to put down a goose egg). Definitely recommend that you avoid our mistake.

    (1)
  • had our breakfast here on first morning of holiday. only two tables being used but plenty staff on board. huge menu to chosse from with lighter? options available as well as the tradional stack of pancakes and syrup. Great value. Inside was a bit dated but food made up for that
