I love this place! Great food, great pricing, community ambassadors, great mission, friendly staff, and great location! I was surprised they did breakfast too, didn't know this. I usually come in for business lunch or lunch breaks but will have to try a breakfast wrap here sometime. I totally recommend this place!

I come here almost everyday for lunch and love the salads. Today there was no romaine lettuce, not really a big deal but the girl who took my order should have told me. The much bigger problem is the nats!! I was swatting nats as I was trying to eat my salad, pretty sure I ate one at some point. Please take care of this issue so that I can keep coming there everyday for a healthy lunch

We went in for breakfast and had one of their egg bowls. The food was NOT fresh. Potatoes were rubbery and room temperature. Eggs were also room temperature - difficult to do with freshly cooked food. Coffee was warmish. Don't bother.

This cafe is in a really neat part of downtown. The menu is extensive and seems to be pretty fresh. I got the rice bowl and it was delicious (similar to chipotle; perhaps lighter). My wife got a turkey cranberry wrap and it was good, maybe a little sweet for our tastes. Prices are fair and won't break your budget while you are trying to eat healthy-er. Give it a shot!

I usually stop here for a quick lunch since it's walking distance from my place. I've always gotten the buffalo chicken wrap (which is warm and pressed.. Bonus!) It comes with a generous amount of Gorgonzola so I always ask for light cheese so that it doesn't overpower the wrap. The mushroom and brie soup is pretty rich but delicious! I'm always so pleased with those items that I haven't branched out yet to try more. Up next is the baked potatoes with the mushroom soup on top. It always sounds so delicious.

This place is pretty great! I frequent here mostly because I live close by but I do enjoy their food. My favorites are the hummus & pita, broccoli crunch, and the honey turkey wrap. The staff is nice and the restaurant is always clean. I've never had to wait long for my food and there's always plenty of seats available if eating in. Definitely worth checking out for a quick bite!

Sad to say I was thoroughly not impressed with the Green Day cafe. It's pretty much a self serve restaurant with self serving utensils and poor service. I tried the Fiesta baked potato and barely recognized anything about a potato in it . I did enjoy the unsweet tea and the outdoor seating. Oh and we were forced to eat outside when gnats swarmed our food while we were sitting inside. I won't be back.

I got to say, Nothin wrong here. I got the garden veggie quesadillas. The avocado ranch dressing in them is amazing. Then you can choose your dip bad I chose guac, which I asked if its from a container and she said nope! They make it :) music to my ears! Plus it comes with a drink and they have fresh brewed teas. Just awesomely amazing! Will frequent like everyday I work across the street!

I've lived in this area for a while so I was sad to see Virgin Olive Market leave. However, I was excited to try Green Day when it opened. I've been several times and typically leave underwhelmed. The mushroom soup is pretty good but other than that everything seems rushed and pre packaged. Unfortunately, the service and decor is just as average as the food. I want to like this place but with Coffee Culture down the street they seriously need to step their game up.

Went in for the first time today. I noticed that there was a little green pea pod dancing out front the day before. I've been curious for a while but it's always been dead inside. But that pea pod convinced. I ordered the Santa Fe Chicken Wrap and my boyfriend ordered the Buffalo Chicken a wrap. Nothing special... Actually they both tasted the same. Didn't taste bad just average. The reason for my 2 stars was the service. I felt that the women behind the counter could of been a little less rude. I guess I just didn't have the look of someone that deserved her kindness..? Clearly it was our 1st time there. I will probably not return. As I feel others have made the decision to not return as well... Always pretty empty during prime lunch hours... Advice to management: Maybe stress the importance of friendly customer service, especially being a new establishment. And when someone comes in to PAY YOU... "Yep" shouldn't be a response to a CUSTOMERS Thank you!

Delicious and nutritious! I'm a big fan of the Southwest Rice Bowl. Plus: there's meeting space in the back so if you needed to have a working lunch, it would be feasible. Free short-term parking is available on the bottom floor of the garage right behind the storefront - but it's tight and a little harrowing. Best to walk or bike here!

Love this place. Never feel guilty about menu choices and they have quite the variety. Plus they have all day 2 for 1 drinks for happy hour on weekends! Great addition to the North Quarter.

I've been to this new spot a few times. The clean, modern decor is an improvement from the eclectic nature of the previous restaurant in this space. I recommend the wraps here. I like the way they fold them into neat pockets before pressing them. The buffalo chicken wrap had a generous amount of pulled meat and nice bite-sized crumbles of gorganzola. This ingredient elevated the wrap beyond your usual 'buffalo and blue' combo. The mushroom soup is good if not a little thicker than I was expecting, maybe from potato. Green Day cafe is not in your face about being eco-friendly but they do bill themselves as a green alternative to fast food. They are pretty fast but prices, while fair, are higher than fast food.

This is great food at a good price. Everything was fresh and healthy. Service was pleasant and quick. Not sure what that other reviewer meant about self-serve other than the drinks. Highly recommended.

Food is good service is a little slow, gets packed during lunch time perhaps more staff will do the trick.

I absolutely love green day cafe! Everything on the menu is so fresh and tasty! The only negative I can think of is that sometimes it seems like not enough people are working and they can get pretty backed up on orders. They have a friendly staff though and once you get the food, you aren't mad about the wait anymore.

I'm giving this place 3 stars because of the ridiculous long wait. I came here because my boyfriend and I were helping a friend move into an apartment complex downtown and we needed a quick lunch to-go. I came in around 3 pm on a Saturday and there was only girl managing the whole place so it took 10 minutes for my order to be taken ( 2 orders ahead of me). It took an additional 15 minutes for my order to be completed. It's not her fault but managements for not staffing more people. You expect to be in and out of a sandwich/deli shop within 10 minutes. I ordered a mushroom, brie and chicken bowl with rice and a chicken caesar wrap for my boyfriend (both to-go). When I got back to the apartment and opened my bowl, he plastic lid was all bent from the heat and the contents were spilling out because there was so much stuffed in the bowl. Besides that it was very good and filling. The wrap was delicious according to my boyfriend and his meal also came with Terra vegetable chips and a dill pickle spear. We ended up coming here for breakfast the next day (Sunday) around 12 and they had two employees this time so we got our order much quicker. We both ordered oatmeal cups with walnuts and honey as well as coffee. We both thought it wasn't bad. I'll probably be back since it's within walking distance of my friend's apartment.

The food is delicious. And for the most part it's pretty healthy. Their customer service is second to none. If there is any issue at all with your food, they will make it again the way you like it.
