It's a Golden Corral. That pretty much says it all. It was also a last resort for the meal situation while in Orlando, mainly because the group I was with was trying to watch their budget. So I suffered through this one. it is not "bad" per se, but like most buffet places, it is just not anything to write home about.

Worse Golden Coral I have ever been in my life. Dirty watery potatoes the smallest selection I have ever seen 7/11 has more selection than this dive. Feels like your eating right in the kitchen ice cream vanilla didn't work looks like the place should be in Cuba.

My server, Melissa was awesome! It did take a while for her to come and introduce herself. I will say that this particular location should be shut down! You would think, that in a tourist area, it would have fresh food, with a large selection of items. It's is smaller than many of its other locations and the way it's built makes it visually unappealing. They do serve breakfast all day, if that's what you're in to. My experience this trip: good service, dry food at poor temperatures. Fried chicken and the chocolate fountain was the highlight!

As we're from overseas, we'd never been to this chain of restaurants before and we were amazed- we don't have any variety like this back in Australia especially the West so we thought the variety was awesome! The servers were really nice and our waiter was constantly offering us drink top ups and to take away dirty plates. The veggies were a little cold but were edible. The roast was DELICIOUS- the flavours were amazing and the meat literally fell apart. We also really enjoyed the bourbon chicken. They had a chocolate dipping fountain, different types of icecream and a fairy floss (cotton candy) machine..pretty cool! We thought it was good value for money as you definitely wouldn't get all that in Australia.

I have been to many Golden Corrals and this one falls short. Food was so-so but table service was very good. The person (Al) serving steaks needs to find another job. He was not courteous and came across as rude. This is not one we would come back to.

If I could give it less than 1 star, I would. We stopped here about 4:15pm while traveling back to Atlanta. Millie, our server was friendly & fantastic! They were out of about 40% of the items - and very slow to replenish them. The penne pasta was so over cooked it was mush. No dinner rolls available either. Don't even bother to stop here...drive another 7-8 miles to another location.

I came here after a long day in Universal. And right off the bat, I knew I was going to have a horrendous experience. The cashiers met my family with an attitude and sighs like they didn't want us to be there. The price was $13.99 per person, which definitely was not worth it from all the terrible food set out. Everything was cold and the bread rolls never came out fresh again. The selection was small. They have this wide promotion to serve breakfast for all meals, but that doesn't even look appetizing one bit. I did not touch the half burnt pancakes, squashed French toast, limp, greasy bacon, mushy, scrambled eggs, and unmanned omelette station once. I definitely went to look, but was promptly turned off and never returned back to that section. The steak station was terrible too. The guy was nice and all but the steaks had no seasoning whatsoever and it just tasted overcook (I asked for medium well). Dessert station was lacking as well. Everything just looked mush and terrible. Even the ice cream tastes bad (I didn't know that was possible) just like the attitude of the girl scooping it for me. Through the time my family ate there, there was a trashy girl soliciting in the restaurant. She appeared to be taking food Togo but really was just messing around with the cashiers and steak guy. Some guy dressed like the manager was there too but he made no move to get rid of her. He just didn't seem to be in control of any of his workers. Most of them just wandered around or joked around with their co-workers. I will never go back to any Golden Corral chain buffet ever again. To be quite honest, I didn't really want to come tonight either. I recommend not coming to here or any Golden Corral chain. Save your money and go somewhere else.

An update to this review, just to add to the nastiness of this branch, a worker severe his fingers on the meat cutter, and the coworkers threw the bloods, parts, and severed fingers on the trash before the investigators arrived, so gross!! orlandosentinel.com/news…

I usually end up here because of location. Most yelpers are correct there are much better Golden Corals out there. Just being jn the heart of tourist area it seems traffic is going to be there so there isn't much effort on quality. Yes the staff is friendly but thats about it! Seems like there is an odor I caught a whiff of.when first entering but it goes away after you're in. Def not a place to take a date or anyone out to dinner. Brunch or lunch is about why we go there.

I'm here right now having lunch at 1 p.m. Eastern Time on the way to the airport and I have no problems with the food or the service. Everything seems hot and fresh and the young ladies serving me are very friendly and helpful. You can tell they are working really hard. My server..Alyn was excellent and she gave me a fresh cup of coffee.

I hadn't been to a Golden Corral for some time and since this was one of the closest restaurants to walk to, we decided to have a late lunch here. I of course forgot that it was only a buffet. The buffet was really, really good. There was tons of food and quite delicious! Its also quite inexpensive too. The worst thing is that they like to play elevator music.

We grabbed some quick breakfast here before heading to Universal. It's near the Double Tree Hilton and Holiday Inn express. It's also next to a Starbucks. The food was decent with lots of variety. The service was good too. The only thing I didn't like was the orange juice, it was watered down. The price for 5 people was $42 (2 adults, 3 children).

I asked for a medium steak and the guy have me one that looked like it was rare almost raw, the waitress only came ONCE the entire time and walked by continuously after we asked politely to get us some coffee. Trust me, there are much better places than here.

This place can ruin your vacation experience. You don't want to eat here then have to stand in long lines at the park cuz you won't make it. The place smells sweaty, and the food quality is poor. You think your getting a deal cuz its a buffet but all your gonna get is a sick feeling and belly ache.
