This place is great! I happenef in at happy hour. Lucky me because the margarita were "on point" we enjoyed the sampler but we were wowed by the fajitas. Dont confuse this one with the Semoran location- this one much much better.

Unfortunately this was just a very bad all around experience. The server was friendly, but was just more interested in talking with other servers then doing things...like bringing our drinks when they were up at the service bar, or filling up waters, or checking up on the food after delivery. We saw another patron get up and walk over and get our server while she was in a conversation with another server on the floor just messing around, so she could get her attention that she wanted the check. I ordered carne asada, and it was very close to inedible. It was a flat steak as thin and dry as I've ever seen...it no joke looked like the sole of a shoe. The rice and beans also tasted a little off, not sure what that was. The salsa and chips were good...and they were the only item that was not a wreck.

We came here for dessert and we were really disappointed. We ordered fried ice cream and it tasted like the ice cream was roll around in stale corn flakes then covered in cheap chocolate syrup. The deep fried tortilla bowl it came in also tasted salty.

Not bad. A solid average Mexican place. The sangria is not homemade. The salsa is good. The fajitas aren't bad.

This was by far, the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. I think the management needs to have a talk with Edgar L. and be sure to let him know to not act like an inconsiderate moron. He stood at the table next to us, joking and laughing with the customers while we waited for 15 minutes for our drink order to be taken. It was not busy for him to not attend our table for that long. He also charged us for more than we ordered and when we consulted him about it, he acted as though we were in the wrong and approached our table very aggressively to find out later that he was actually wrong. I have never ever in my life left a restaurant with such bad energy and just because someone doesn't speak your language, it doesn't mean you need to treat them like dirt. The food, I have nothing to say about. I didn't like it but everyone is different. To some people it may be good Mexican food but for me it was not. You can be the judge yourself. I don't want to say anything bad about the food, just the awful customer service.

This was the first time I have been to this particular restaurant, the food was good, although, my husband ordered fajitas and some pieces of chicken were not cooked throughly, but for the most part, from the chips and salsa to the seasoning on the food, it was great. The strawberry margaritas we ordered were awesome, but a bit expensive. I have had better for less. We went on a Saturday around 4pm and it was pretty slow. We felt a bit pressured to order as soon as we got there. The waiter was pleasant but not too much emphasis on customer service. He made our time at this restaurant more of a drive thru experience than anything. So overall, the food ranges between $10-20 and drinks $10-15. The drinks didn't have prices as well, I find that to be uncomfortable. I like no surprises when it comes to my money. If your not too worried about service than this is the place to be. I would go again if I was in the area, but I wouldn't go out of my way to make it there.

Worst service ever. It's pretty sad because this is one of our favorite places to go to eat. We go at least once a week. Today when we went and the bartender was beyond rude. First off we sat for 20 mind before we were even asked what we want. Finally when Jose came he got very rude because my husband was smoking his vapor pen. Which has never been a problem. Normally when we come Luis is the bartender and he is excellent!! Unfortunately because of the rudeness of Jose we probably won't ever return unless we know ahead of time to make sure Jose isn't working. For the main fact I go out to get for a nice experience. Not to deal with someone like Jose. He is definitely in the wrong type of work. Management Should talk to him about his rudeness towards customers and waiting 20 mins to take orders.. Very displeased.

Always get pretty good tasting good when going to Garibaldi's, but noticed a few new things on my last trip. New larger and fancier menu, which turned into higher prices. I was then surprised when I got my check, when I discovered that they now charge for extra tortillas when you order fajitas, plus charge extra for shredded cheese for the fajitas. Too many other great Mexican options in the area (Chuy's and La Fiesta) to return to Garibaldi's.

Some friends of mine are in town and their daughter wanted Mexican food. I went to Yelp and we decided to select this place close to my house. We were not disappointed. The daughter loved her beef burrito and they removed all the items that she did not want. My friend's pollo loco (I think that was the name) was a flattened chicken breast cooked in onions and peppers and it was flavorful and moist. She even commented that she had not seen fresh cauliflower and broccoli as a side and was impressed with this option. I had the chicken enchilada suizas with refried beans and rice. The chicken and rice were slightly dry, but the meal was acceptable. The margaritas were good and our server was prompt and friendly, but never overbearing. I would definitely go back again.

Loved to come for lunch and margaritas , the food has become expensive and the waitress was extremely rude and kept rushing us to pay check. Never attended to us even for drink refills !! This is the first time in 35 years that I've refused to tip ! THATS HOW BAD THE SERVICE WAS !!! My one star actually was generous !!

Went for lunch and the food was average. I was disappointed because I've been wanting to try this place for a while. The prices are good. I didn't try the Margaritas. I feel like other menu items may be better so don't write the place off completely.

Decent Mexican food for when I'm craving it. I grew up on the stuff, and my friend claimed this place is the best in Orlando area. I had the carne asada steak and it was okay. I've had better back home, but for what it was worth, I did enjoy it. Portions were also fairly large. I think the size of the steaks, (I was given two), were almost as big as my face.

  • Daniel S.

Had a wonderful steak fajita for two meal. Server was awesome, noticed the right things and didn't get annoying. The food was savory and plentifulI. They load you up on food, I have enough to eat another meal tomorrow. You won't go wrong with this spot if you are a fan of Mexican food.

We are out of towners and were staying near by and found it on YELP. Gave it a shot. The food was good, the real redeeming part was the service!!! VERY, Very nice. We are vegetarians and had lots of questions about the menu and they did everything they could to answer our questions. Happy Hour price on beer was Great! Will for sure come back when in town again.

This place is overpriced overrated and is terrible. The food does not taste authentic at all! The people don't know how to cater to the customers. Just don't come in, you will be better off going to other better places around the area.

I LOVE Garibaldi! Flat screen tvs all around are a plus, and cheap decorations give you the American Mexican restaurant experience. The things that keep me coming back here are the consistency of their product and service! The chips and salsa are great. The flavor of the salsa isn't hot or too bland. Its just decent enough to have you going back for that next scoop. Lets be real though.....the 2-4-1 margaritas is why I love this place. They are always heavy handed with the drinks and they are more than affordable. The speed at which the food comes out is ridiculous. You literally order your food, eat some chips and salsa, take a few sips of your margarita and then BAM there it is! I always get the Flautas Mexicanas. This place isn't the most authentic or the most fancy. But it IS the most SATISFYING and for that my yelp friends, I have to give this place 5 stars. :)

  • Jennifer C.

From the Cadillac Margarita to the Santa Fe Chicken Salad, it was all good. Only thing I wasn't a fan of was the 'sauce' they brought with the chips. It was a sauce not salsa which I tend to think of as chunky (even picante has some chucks). This was like spicy spaghetti sauce. Although we went on a week night, I want to go back on the weekends for the mariachi band! Cha Cha Cha!

    (4)
  • Astryd R.

Really great food! Super dooper fast service! This is one of our favorites! From ordering to food on table maybe 5 min elapsed! Incredible! The mariachi band on weekends is a great tough to the ambiance! Try the supreme burrito!,,,

Definitely not worth the time and money if you have any good taste in "American" Mexican food. Food was bland and cold when served. The queso was decent, but the chips where cold, greasy and stale. Limited menu in my opinion. Our server was often aloof and not attentive. Overall, good second tier but barely.

There aren't a lot of decent Mexican or Tex-Mex places in South Orlando, so we were happy when Garibaldi' opened - we had eaten many times in their restaurant in Kissimmee. The decor is rather touristy Tex Mex, but the food was decent for the first few years. However, lately, our food has been rather fast-foodish, and tastes like it is fresh from the can. That explains why they aren't as busy as they used to be. We prefer more hole-in-the-wall type places like Border Grill near the corner of Kirkman and Vineland Rd., which is authentic, excellent food, albeit in a tiny facility that is always crowded.

Nice place to hang out... Wonderful Margaritas, nice people there, lack of customer service, we wait 10 mins for service

I don't eat a lot of Mexican food but this place is solid the chicken quesodias were good.

I've been here many times. Their margaritas are VERY good and my favorite dish is the chicken Garibaldi fajitas (made in a guava sauce which lends to pretty amazing caramelization). Overall cleanliness could be better (dust) and updating the bathrooms would go a long way. Service has always been great!

This place was delicious. We will be back! They have Taco Tuesdays with great $2 special on food and drinks. I ordered a Tamal a la carte and it was delicious!

Met with a friend for dinner to try this restaurant I have driven by 100 times. The interior Decour was really nice with a rustic Cantina type look. The servers were very friendly, in the food came very quickly. Not very spicy as far as my taste go a little on the mild side. But I like it hot. The quality of the meat and cheeses and vegetables was good. I definitely recommend the guacamole it was sublime.

  • Jason R.

Solid, if unremarkable, Mexican-American cuisine. I had the Burritos Rancheros, which had carnitas, onions, and bell peppers and was topped with queso sauce. Tasty. Margaritas were good. I wasn't disappointed, bit also wasn't blown away.

  • Michelle A.

Joined them for dinner as a place that was close by. The place is dark short of right over the tables. The salsa was watered down. The menus were filthy and wet with i don't know what. The food was mediocre for Mexican and the waiter was borderline creepy. In all I've been to better places. The prices reflect the quality here.

The best Mexican food in town! They are the real deal in terms of mexican food. And the place, although noisy sometimes, is very relaxing.

  • Isabelle G.

They have their good points and a couple of bad that prevent me from giving them a 4-star rating. The first is no QA on everything on the menu. Somethings are good, others mediocre. They have a huge menu so they should trim some of their extras. My personal favorite is their tostadas and chips and salsa. Very tasty, since discovering it I stick to it since I know it's good. The service leaves much to be desired, not one person in my 5 times going has left an impression. Mostly I got the feeling they didn't want to be working and despite the place not being packed for lunch it still took forever for us to be in and out.

This is hands down the absolute WORST food I've ever been served in a restaurant. My husband and I were there for lunch the week before Christmas. Our first clue should have been the mostly empty restaurant in the middle of the lunch hour. If that didn't do it, the sticky table and menus were gross enough to make us wonder what kind of place we had stumbled into. We ordered the Burrito Rojo. The free salsa and chips tasted like bagged chips with the thinnest most tasteless salsa ever. My husband loves chips and salsa and almost always asks for 2nds. We left most of these on the table. The burrito arrived promptly. It was on a plate accompanied by about 1 cup of shredded iceburg lettuce that looked at least a week old (dark edges and wilted) and a sad slice of tomato that had been cut in half, each half placed on either side of the lettuce. The burrito itself was no more than 3 inches long. There was no cheese in sight, only a small drizzle of red sauce over the top. The real grossness started as soon as I took the first bite. There was basically NOTHING inside the burrito. It was a HUGE flour tortilla that had been rolled with a scant 1/8-1/4 cup of finely chopped meat that was nothing but gristle in sauce. The pieces of 'meat' were TINY, but they had to be cut that small in order to hide the gristle. I did not recognize this as meat at all! The sauce immediately brought back childhood memories of Chefboyardee. GROSS! After the 2nd bite, I was done. The waitress saw that I hadn't eaten but didn't say one word about it. This place doesn't even rate 1 star but unfortunately, there was no option for 0 stars. We left and went to the food court in the mall to eat. Star far, far away!

Yummy! This is one of the best Mexican food places in town. If you like Tex-Mex, you will love Garibaldi's. Excellent service for lunch or dinner. The best waitstaff around.

We went here for lunch last week. The place looked clean, I had read the reviews here before. There must has been a clean up effort because every restaurant gets inspected at least once a year, more if if there is a complaint. It would also be shut down until up to code standards are up. So has this place changed for the cleaner? Or was I going to get unsafe food that even that bizarre food guy wouldn't eat. We ordered the fiesta platter which was huge. and came with quesadillas, taquitos, guac, sour cream, etc. That pretty much filled me up. It was good. I took my chimichanga home with me. it came with a light cheese sauce on top, it could have been a queso blanco or even a white american cheese I couldn't tell and from being in the box after I ate it the cheese seemed to absorb. Still very good. and a tip for heating up mexican or tex mex foods like burritos, flautas, etc if its large cut it in half if small keep whole and put it in the toaster over, that way it won't come out as a soggy mess like it does in the microwave.

Food was okay but, not great. Chips n salsa was good- that's an item I'd order again (and I'd gladly have it as a meal and pay for), if I were with a group that insisted on coming back. The rice ruined the meal- the beef was stringy and didn't have the freshest of smells. The hugh table-full in the center of the room got most of the attention-many of them were soused and required the help of more than a couple servers (the servers couldn't accommodate their drink requests fast enough along with their food. At some point a server needs to stop asking "how about another one for you! and how about one for your friend!......this is a celebration or what! yes! let's celebrate, come on! yes, help your friend celebrate!"

I LOVE Garibaldi!! Have been going here for years and it's always really good. Their chips and salsa is excellent. I always get the beef chimichanga and it's always cooked to perfection, they put so much meat in it, it's very filling. They cover it in white queso that is to die for! If you are in the FL Mall area and want a good meal at a great price, check this place out, you won't be dissappointed!

This is my favorite Mexican place in Orlando. 2-4-1 house margaritas, heavy on the tequila. Just one wipes me out. I get the enchilada suizas every time. So good! Rice is perfectly fluffy, salsa is nice and smooth, food comes out super fast. Love this place!

As you probably can tell by my reviews, I only go to certain places when I am in town! These spots are what I crave when I am away!!! GARIBALDI'S is truly the best Mexican place in town! I have been going to the Colonial spot since I was @ UCF and became thrilled when they opened this location near the FL mall! I LOOOooOOve the queso dip, chimichangas, margaritas, salsa, chile relleno, the combo platters, fried ice cream, and i can go on! Don't settle for imitation....this is truly an authentic Mexican joint!!!

  • Andrew M.

Unfortuneatly this place appears to be the hit or miss type, I have to agree with Ryan S's review, my recent visit was also a repeat visit and I also noticed a drastic decline in food quality and service compared to my prior visit. I ordered the fried chimichangas and the entree arrived within minutes which is highly concerning in the freshness department, the ground beef was heavily salted and the rice and beans appeared to have been sitting under a heat lamp for far too long, I have enjoyed better tasting Mexican food at non-authentic restaurants like Don Pablos then I have here.. In addition, I have to say that both times I have visited service has been mediocre at best.. Unless they go through a major overhaul, I will likely not return as this past visit has left me with a very sour taste and the restaurant as a whole appears to be going downhill very quickly..

OK, First I'm a Chicago girl who has always loved chimi's. But in Chicago they are sooo hard to find. When I do find one they usually have potatoes and carrots inside......I dont like that. Any who......... This place used to be Frontera's, its still awesome though. Service is decent, atmosphere is great. Try the beef chimi and queso dip. The chimi comes smothered in cheese, perfectly fried and the queso has chorizo in it, YUM. Everything Ive tried has been great. Its definitely my go to Mexican joint when Im in FL.

  • Angie S.

The atmosphere is cheery but the decor is very tacky and busy. Our party tried the tamales, the enchildas, and the tacos. The tamal masa was bland but the filling itself had a nice chile flavor. The tacos were very dry and bland, make sure to pour some chip salsa over these. The enchiladas suisas were pretty good. They were soft and flavorful but my dish arrived on the cold side. The rice and beans that accompanied this dish were bland...no flavor at all. We also ordered dessert, stuffed chimi. This is a tortilla stuffed with banana cream cheese. It is fried and served with ice cream, whipped cream, and caramel sauce. We all enjoyed this very much. Compared to other places it is very reasonably priced however many of the dishes lack flavor and the service could also improve.

Infested with rats! I saw two of them today, scurring through the dining room area! My table of 5 promptly walked out. Without question this place is in dire need of pest/rodent control. The location on 436 is no better from several stories I've heard. Enter at your own risk. p.s. It's overpriced as well.

Thought place looked nice from outside and a too fast look at yelp saying a good place - WRONG Place practically empty only 3 other tables and 2 servers. Menus old and worn out. These two things should have signaled me but I really wanted to have some great Mexican food. After waiting several minutes in empty restaurant a server appeared. We ordered drinks and appetizers and 6 dinners. The food was terrible. One meal was uneatable. The rice was hard and tasteless , the chicken was dry the steak was over cooked and just shy of shoe leather. With so many restaurants to chose from no one should have to suffer through Garibaldi poor attempt to be a dining establishment

Garibaldi is good, but some menu items are better than others. The queso is great as are most menu items. The salsa does not taste fresh though. In response to one review, the menus have been replaced with new ones.

Queso fundido..enchilidas rancheras..good and reasonable..good service and cheap margaritas @ happy hour, think it is two for one...I have been there several times and it is fairly consistent...lacks spice! but good food for a good price..

Garibaldi's has above average mexican food, a nice tequila selection, and a good sour mix for margaritas.

My favorite place for authentic mexican. The food is always fresh and very flovorfull but not overly splicy like most mexican restaurants. I love their drinks- They're HUGE and strong and YUMMY and well priced. They have fantastic margharitas and the best Sangria i've ever had. The server is always exceptional. I have yet to have bad service or a bad server. They're always very friendly. But be warned because I think its Monday nights when they have a live Mariochi (sp?) band. Yes the band comes to your table and sings to you. I'd take off a star for that but alot of people in the restaurant seemed to enjoy it, so for that I'll leave the last star on.

There's really not much to say about this place, but i'll pay my dues to my fellow yelpers. The place simply and straight SUCKS. The decor it's a bit tacky and over done rather than the "traditional" theme they attempted to go with. But none of these truly matters, i just threw out there haha. The food was HORRIBLE, bland, dry and rather small portions compared to other restaurants. I had a burrito grande and i can tell you that a burrito from Chipotle is 100X better than this and that speaks volumes, Not insinuating that Chipotle serves bad food by any means because i think they actually are great, but rather mentioning it as a reference point. I mean this Garibaldi place is supposed to be authentic mexican and IMO you can get a much better and tasty burrito at a big chain establishment. This place just did not do it for me, i will not be coming back here. If you want excellent Mexican authentic cuisine Go to AZTECA DE ORO. Hands down the best place in orlando area.

I went to the Florida Mall Garibaldi's at the invitation of friends, but apprehensive after reading Jeff's review. All in all, it was pretty good. They have two-for-one house margaritas all day. Everyone's entree was to their liking. On the down side, the mariachi band was too loud, making it nearly impossible to converse, and the chips weren't fresh. Thank God, the rats must have taken the night off.

more than the food, the staff, the atmosphere is super fun!!! i'm from los angeles, so i'm a harsh critic when it comes to mexican food... this was pretty authentic place, but i've definitely had better.... but i have definitely loved the fun atmosphere and the sense of humor of our waitress!!!! if i'm back in the area, i would go back!

I thought I had read on here from a SoCal native like me that this was as authentic as you can get for Mexican food. I must have been delusional. I suggested this place when I was visiting my family over the holidays and meeting up with a friend. We both had a hankering for Mexican, so this looked like the place. I've already apologized several times to my friend for recommending it. :( The service was great, but the food ....not so much. We were greeted at the door and quickly led to a table. It was a bit odd to me that we were one of the very few parties in there that evening. On the upshot, our server was very attentive, cheerful, and always available. As far as the food went.... Maybe it was the chef's night off, but everything everyone ordered was *heavily* salted. I usually like a little extra salt on my food, but this was so ridiculously over-salted that I neither I nor my friend could finish our dinners. Taking it home wasn't even an option for me. My margarita was not even enough to wash it down, and I regretted spending the money on anything. I'm really surprised that nobody has mentioned this yet in one of the reviews. I know I have high standards after being spoiled with good, authentic Mexican cuisine all over Southern California, but I would have expected mediocre Mexican at the very least. From now on, I'll stick with the cuisine an area is known for.

about as authentic as Mexican can get in Florida. Everything was fantastic, from the dip to the entrees. Highly recommend if your in the mood for authentic Mexican cuisine.

I love Mexican Food, so it's really hard to go wrong here. I really liked their semi-authentic flavor. It wasn't too spicy, not too plain. Just what the doctor ordered. I tried the chicken fajitas, which is a go-to favorite of mine. They were fantastic. WAAAY better than Chili's :) A nice perk was the full Mariachi Band that was there performing for some of the larger parties. Very cool restuarant. I'd definitely go back.

I had the fajitas and my girl had the quesadilla. Very little meat for the fajitas and only two tortilla shells. The quesadilla was terrible, the cheese had a strange taste. For me Mexican places are hit or miss, this was a major miss. I won't be back.

FAVORITE Mexican in town, and not just because it's within close proximity to my office so co-workers and I can run over for their delicious nachos and margaritas at lunchtime. Their food is fresh-tasting (something Mexican food often fails to do), seasoned well and has great portions. Be aware that if you ask for jalapenos on the side, you will literally be presented with a small dish of sliced, raw jalapenos and charged as a side. I find this vaguely insulting at a Mexican restaurant where I expect to be treated like a capsicum high-roller and have my jalapenos comped. The nachos with ground beef will literally change your world. You will be in awe of the best nachos you've ever had while simultaneously marveling over the handiwork of the surgeon who just performed your angioplasty to remove the nachos' residue from your arteries. So worth it. Fairly strong house 'ritas too!

As near to perfect a mexican restaurant as I've found in Orlando. The food is fresh and delicious, the service is quick and friendly and the atmosphere is great for both intimate and group dining. Everytime I go, I want to try new things off the menu, but I always find myself ordering the fried beef chimichanga ($8), which comes covered in queso blanco and served with pico de gallo, sour cream, guacamole and choice of beans or rice (I get the beans). The dish is almost large enough for two, so I always end up taking some home for a late night snack. Of course, when bringing friends, this means I try a little bit of whatever they order, and I can also vouch for the shredded chicken enchilada (served 3 to a plate for $7), nachos supreme (which features shredded chicken on one side and spiced ground beef on the other, along with beans, cheese, sour cream and guacamole for $7.49), and vegetable fajitas ($16), which aren't actually on the menu, but they whipped up a version on request from my very picky eater friend that featured onions, bell peppers, squash and broccoli in a mildly spicy sauce. It was so good he ordered some to take home, too. The margaritas are great and on weekends, a strolling mariachi band lends to the festive atmosphere.

In one word: BLAND. In two words: BAD FOOD! In three words: NOT COMING BACK! I'm originally from California and I have a pretty good idea of good Mexican food. This was horrible. I ordered the Burrito Grande and it was absolutely terrible. No taste. Even after putting store bought hot sauce on, it was still bad. (store bought bottled hot sauce at a Mexican restaurant??? = ownership doesn't care). I tasted a dining companion's soup (with tortilla chips), again, no taste. We have been going to Garibaldi's for several years, and this is the last time. It's gone downhill. I wish the decision makers would dine in the restaurant once in awhile so they can taste the garbage that is being served. Yuk!

Always happy! I may like Abuello's more but if value is considered especially since alcohol makes up 1/3 of our bill (me, wife & 4yr old), Garibaldi it is!

So when I said "I miss Mexican food", I was escorted here. A little more poshy than the places I frequented in San Diego (hole-in-the-wall is best!), but I was looking forward to some tasty Mexican, acutely aware that East Coast Mexican was going to be different than West Coast Mexican. The meals were well-priced, the meat seasoned in a tasty way, HOWEVER...they melted American cheese on top of my burrito. Cue my look of pure confusion. Not really sure what that was about, but it makes me lean away from "Mexican" and more towards "TexMex" or something similarly contaminated. Guac was good though, and plenty of veg in the burrito, so not all is lost.

This is a decent yet cookie cutter type Mexican restaurant. There's nothing unique or interesting about this place but the food is good. Unfortunately, the food isn't good enough to carry this place past inattentive and slow service. I like this restaurant and wouldn't mind eating here more often but I usually go during my lunch break and the last 2 times I was there they made me late for getting back to work. No bueno! A good friend of mine frequents here more often than I do butt it is only because she asks for a particular server by name who makes sure she gets her meal done with and paid for in a timely manner. But we shouldn't have to special request a special server to get timely service. The last particular time I went, the food took too long so I asked for my check when the food came. It took way to long for the server to come back with the check and then way too long to get my credit card ran. It's not that I won't ever come back here, but it's not one of my top places to go for lunch for obvious reasons.

The fourth star is for atmosphere, not necessarily the food. I mean, the food is good... but it's not supergreat 3 weeks later out of the blue craving it again good. Free chips and salsa, the chips are warm, thin, airy, and crispy. Much nicer than typical dense corny tortilla chips. and the salsa is a little watery but the flavor is excellent. Some salsas you really have to be in the mood for, because theyre a little too something. a little too hot, a little too much cilantro, a little too chunky, garlicky, etc. This one is really well done and not too anything. It's not supposed to fill you up so I don't think the consistency is a big deal. The guacamole was also very good. I don't think there was any sour cream in it (I HATE when restaurants water down guacamole with crap like that) and it actually had subtle flavors of cilantro, garlic, etc. I got enchiladas, managed to eat one of them, and called it a night. I don't think I would get that again, though the flavor was good. Maybe something with just as much flavor and less.... density. The soups and salads looked just as good and well-spiced/flavored etc. Also, the margaritas are HUGE. FYI, the giant punch bowl on a glass stem is about 22 bucks. I got a strawberry margarita and theyre STRONG. The mariachi band is also quite good, and there are lots of people there who know some of the songs and will sing along. Loudly. This is either fun or annoying, depending on your mood.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
