Really good pizza here. We were pleasantly surprised at how yummy the pizza was here. This place sits directly across from the UCF campus in a strip mall. But don't let that stop you from stopping in for some pie. The menu is really all about the pizza. They have a few pastas and some sandwiches. More of the latter, and a solid amount of Salads available. But the pizza is really expansive and full of top quality, fresh ingredients. We are talking San Marzano tomatoes, fresh Spinach, Arugula, basil, and pesto. A variety of GOOD cheese. And really fast and friendly service. They also had some great beer. Fat Tire, Sam Adams, Sierra Nevada to name a few. Our server was awesome, Emily was her name, and she was helpful, super friendly, and fast. She got us our drinks within 5 minutes, and had our app order in after the drink delivery. This was so nice, it was second time that day we felt like we had above the norm service. And to me, that means something. I started with the pizza and I'll end with the pizza. When I said expansive, they had like over 20 specialty house pizzas to choose from and what looked like 50 different ingredients to choose from. Thin or regular crust and three sizes of each. They are hand tossed in front of you and cooked in a brick oven. Oh, and Our server Emily, said at one point, sure we can do that, you can substitute anything on the menu. I think that says it all.

Definitely a step up from your typical chain pizza. Nice quality. We enjoyed the pizza, the chicken wings, and the breadsticks. We ordered for pick-up and the food was ready timely, and packed well. We had no complaints and will be back again.

Not the best today. Tried something new and got penne pasta with chicken. Pretty bland. Charged me $2.99 for barely any chicken. Server had no customer service skills at all. Barely said 2 words to me. Definitely not worth the total bill of $13. I'll come back but will stick to their pizza lunch special.

Ordered pizza for delivery; service was fine. Went with thicker crust pizza, which was cooked a little overdone/slightly burned. For toppings had spinach and sausage, they were okay, but would like more toppings. Not much cheese on the pizza, the sauce was average.

Even though Flippers is a chain i must say this place is great. Everything I have tried is always fresh and tastes above average. My measure of Italian food comes down to the sauce, if the sauce tastes like ketchup or flavorless red "paste", everything is going to be bad. At Flippers, the sauce has a nice light, fresh tomatoey taste. The pizza is always great, I favor the thin crust, the dough is really good flavor. If you want a salad try the Tuscan Chicken Chopped salad. It's amazing! The lettuce is always fresh and the dressing is perfect, not too tangy or sour, just right. I eat at several locations and come back again and again because I know it's going to be consistent and good. Enjoy!

The first thing that ticks off a customer is bad service and not even being greeted, the second is price and quality. This is my second time at this location and it just seems every worker here (students of course) just does not want to work here. They are always in a hurry to finish their shift n go do their homework. U can hear them talking about it while u even decide what to eat. There isnt a smile on anyone of their faces. There goes your one star. Ask for suggestions and ull get the bare minimum from anyone there. Coming to the pricing, its way too expensive for lunch carry out n dine in compared to local competition. You get your choice pie plus 5 toppings plus a side salad plus a drink for 10.64 at their competition..i just paid 11.50 for a drink n mypie with 4 toppings at flippers. There goes your second star. And finally quality, Of the toppings i ordered i found just two pieces of mushroom on my whole pie and other scarce ingredients on the pizza, not loaded with your toppings like other places... so there goes one more star. You lost my business forever. I really liked flippers for a while for their quality dough.

As pizza places go, Flippers is OK. Service was friendly, and the food was good, although not outstanding. The pizzas are a little light on ingredients for the price.

I absolutely love Flippers Pizza. Their dough is literally the best. I always get the Calzone with Asiago instead of Ricotta and then I put in Basil Pesto or Pepperoni. I also get the Garlic Bread sticks and they are super good as well! This location does seem to forget ingredients often though. For example, I onced ordered my calzone with pepperoni, only to receive it with only cheese and not a single pepperoni was found. There have been other instances too. I feel like it has to do with miscommunication as they never repeat back my order. If I want my order to be correct, I actually order on their website or I use the MunchEm app and so far I haven't had any problems. As far as Flippers on a whole, they do have long wait times for food. But once you get the food, you see how worth the wait it is. I rave over their dough a lot, because it is simply the best in my opinion and I haven't had it anywhere else. They also never have the friendliest staff in all of the locations I have been to, but they aren't 100% terrible either. However, if I can afford it, I always order Flippers when I want pizza!

Quick service. Fresh made & good ingredients. To go soda cups. Lunch specials. What more could you want? A healthier selection would be nice, but they've got salads at flippers. My calzone was pretty good... But don't expect your typical Italian style calzone. You can tell it's fast food, but it's good fast food.

Have been here multiple times and I always believed that they had quality pizza, wings, and pasta in the area. I recently ordered take out and was very disappointed with the pizza. There was nothing special and was no different than ordering from a chain. The Alfredo pasta was great and the salad was decent, but overall it was just standard.

Great service. Extensive pizza menu and they are flexible with substitutions. I eat gluten free and had delicious salad. Would come back

Awesome delivery. Timely. Good food. Not out of this world spectacular but what can be expected for a pizza delivery. Pizza and bread sticks were both warm when they got to my place and tasted pretty darn good.

This is a brand new pizza location that opened up right across UCF. Upon arrival, we were greeted quick and with a friendly smile. We were devastated at the loss of Unos nearby on University but this is an excellent addition to the area. Probably even better :) Plenty of menu options to choose from. We went for traditional pizza which was cloaked with plenty of cheese and all pizzas are made via a brick oven. I had the tossed salad the other day and really like the dressing though I am leery of iceberg lettuce as a main ingredient but still the portions is pretty good. Definitely one of the better dining options in the UCF area. Excellent decor (Love the lime green color) and lighting is really awesome. :-) Will definitely come back soon. Best time to go is at lunch time with their awesome lunch specials. I think I am going to try the Flipp (calzone) the next time :)

This location recently opened near UCF, and I was really excited to try it. As soon as you get in you are warmly welcomed by the friendly staff and promptly seated. The best way to describe it is a cross between Pizza Hut, Goodfellas and Papa Johns. The food came out really quick, and tasted good. We actually all had the calzones (aka Flipps). Like I said the restaurant staff is very friendly, the food is good and you can get out in time for a lunch break.

If you're looking for a great pizza in the UCF area for lunchtime, look no further. Flippers offers a $6.95 lunch of a pizza and a fountain drink, something that won't be beat for getting super fresh toppings and brick oven fired pizza. Sometimes the service can be a little spotty, and sometimes your pizza can take forever to come out, but I don't expect it to be quick at lunch because it is always filled to the brim. I don't recommend the garlic bread, it was pretty flavorless. The pizza is a hard thing to beat, and most people don't go to a pizza place looking for salad :)

We always come here and always have great service. This place is great for small children. The brick oven pizza tastes great and their breadsticks are to die for. We always come back to this location because of its proximity to our house. The only bad thing about this location is the lack of parking due to all the other things going on in the plaza.

Very expensive, pizza not very good. The sauce they use was like ragu. You leave and think I just spent $41 dollars for that! We were the only customers and took over 45 minutes for a pizza a sub and some bread. Can get better pizza at pizza hut, I don't go there much either. Why would I pay so much for an inferior product, and drive out of my way for it. I was one of the first to review this location, yet my review was not here nor filtered. Why would that happen? I forget if I gave them 1 or two stars, so I will give them the benefit of my bad memory.

I like this place, it feels clean and open. A hostess saw me coming apparently, and was holding the door open for me as I rounded the corner. The waitress took my order (a lunch special: two-topping personal pizza and a drink for $5.99). I had to wait a little while since the pizzas here are prepared fresh to order (i.e. you can't just buy a slice here), but that was okay as I used the time to catch up on my email and Words With Friends games. The pizza was very good, and the crust was delicious (I opted for the seasoned thick crust). I wish it was a little heavier on the toppings -- these were pretty sparse. But by the time I was done, I was FULL. I probably shouldn't have eaten the whole thing at once. I'll come back occasionally... although maybe not too often. It's not the best choice for weight management, and besides, I can still smell the grease on myself.

Besides the Pizza and staff being amazing..I love love love their salads and breadsticks. I usually order it on delivery, and the portion size is large enough to fill you up.There located in a newer plaza, and even offer outside seating. It is very clean, and organized and GOOD!!!

I ordered the individual sized pizza Bianca with the seasoned crust. It was delicious! It is enough to fill you up. It comes with 4 pretty big slices. The pizza is pretty thick and heavy- I ended up taking 2 slices home. I also ordered mild buffalo wings. I wish they were a little crispier on the outside but the overall flavor was good. There is a lot of seating and the service was great. They were very friendly. Ample parking. I am only in Orlando for 4 days and I'm going to try to sneak another trip back to flippers before I leave.

This is definitely the best pizza I've had in Orlando. Being from Connecticut, I admit I'm a bit of a pizza snob and the standard pizza fare offered in Orlando has left something to be desired (although I've never met a pizza I wouldn't eat). Even though no pizza place will ever compare to Pepe's in New Haven, Connecticut, this is certainly an all-around delicious pizza. I ordered the Margherita on the regular crust for pickup. My pizza was ready when I walked in the door and the people I encountered were amicable. I was in and out in about 3 minutes, which gave me just enough time to notice that the restaurant itself was nicely lit and decorated and seemed inviting. Now, down to the main attraction: the pizza. I paid $15 for a large (14") Margherita; it was a bit expensive, I'll admit, especially when I can get an "ok" pizza from 5-Star for around $8. Anyway, they didn't skimp on the fresh mozzarella (I was nervous they would); every bite had sauce, cheese, and basil, which made the experience much more pleasurable. I found the crust to be quite good. Soft, cooked just enough, chewy, but not so much that your jaw muscles hurt after. A bit of advice: keep the pizza hot and eat it fresh. I (stupidly) let mine sit on the counter for a while before I ate it and the cheese got cold and became rubbery rather than stringy. It's pretty much impossible to enjoy a pizza with fresh mozzarella that's rubbery because the entire piece of cheese comes off the slice as soon as you bite into it. I nuked it in the microwave for 30 seconds and all was fine. Overall: Taste/Quality: 5 Experience: 5 Price: 4 Verdict: I'll definitely be ordering from here again.

They have an awesome lunch special that includes a drink and personal pie for about $7. They also have 3 different crust varieties... thick, thin, and hand rolled. All very tasty. They use fresh ingredients and real mozzarella. I have had delivery from here and its just as good as dining in. They have a lot of pizza choices. I'm a fan of the quattro fromagio... so much cheese :)

Simply said: best pizza place in the UCF area. Excellent pasta and appetizers as well.

The pizza is great but the service here is atrocious. I placed an online carry out order and paid online. When I went to pick up my pizza, the cashier said my online payment didn't go through. I questioned why and the manager came up to say it has something to do with their system. I trusted them and gave them the same card I used to pay online. Instead of swiping they manually keyed in my payment, strange I thought. Even stranger, they charged me one cent more than my online total. The manager took down my info and said he will make sure I don't get double charged and that one pending charge will drop off in 24 hours. This never happened as both payments posted. I called a few days later and explained my situation and gave my info again and was reassured I would be refunded in a few days. Again Flippers failed to keep their promise on making things right. I had to file a chargeback with my financial institution to get a refund. Beware if you order online.

Good pizza! Friendly staff. Nice selection of gourmet pizzas that you can customize and they don't charge extra for that if you're just substituting and not adding. Several styles of crust. I like the thin, Neapolitan style. Still chewy and not so thin it's like a cracker. Many toppings to choose from, including an array of cheeses. Very enjoyable experience!

The pizza is incredible. Now for those of you who say "but the service is slow", tell me that when the people in the back are trying to make actual quality pizza. This place has quality pizza. If you want quick pizza, then go to Dominos but you get what you pay for. Flippers is the place to be!
