Our favorite spot was absolutely PACKED - we were stupid and waited to get out of the house too late. Out of a desire to just not be hungry anymore we ended up here again and the wait was less than 10 minutes (should have been our first clue). To their credit they DID remodel. To their discredit the remodel took what was already an acoustic atrocity and a crowded seating plan and actually made it worse. It's prettier but I, personally, don't care to have the waitress' (or any other) derriere touching my coffee cup or juice glass because there is not enough room between tables to walk through. The walls have even less stuff on them (read art standing in for acoustic tiles). Service remains slow and disjointed. I got my side of butter just as I finished my meal. I stuck with an old favorite - a "skillet" with 2 eggs over potatoes, bacon, cheese, and onions - except this time there was no skillet AND no onions. The fruit cup is down to what they used to put the butter in which meant 2 grapes, 1 slice of pineapple, and 2 cubes of honeydew melon. Maybe I noticed that because the fruit was the best part of the meal. Same old English Muffins with the heavy flour aftertaste. My mate left most of his french toast deeming it "awful" and the sad limp bacon was mostly fat. He left 2 of the 4 strips on the plate. (the man left bacon on the plate people) Wait staff are very pleasant but, quite honestly, have no idea what they are doing. Crossing here and there, multiple trips for forgotten items, confusion over who did what... Also, if they are not supposed to be walking between the tables you all need to tell them not to do that - see derriere portion above. I'm pretty sure most folks in there today were tourists, given their conversations we could not ignore when we tried. Good thing because you all just don't have what it takes to keep the locals coming back. (By the way, to the tourists beside us - though Disney IS a no fly zone, they will not in fact shoot you down. That was pretty funny). If you all are going for that "bustling European cafe vibe" you have missed it by a kilometer. I hope you all can get a grip on this because there is plenty of breakfast business to go around.

Amazing! The food here is well priced, the service is fantastic and our meals were delicious! We came 2 days in a row. I cannot say enough good things about this establishment.

Fresh quick and delicious. If you are around the area j would suggest coming here for breakfast. Once I say down I was quickly served my beverages of hot water with lemons and a apple juice. I wanted to be adventurous and try something new so I ordered the key west crepe which was unique and absolutely delicious. Inside was stuffed with turkey bacon and avocado which filled me up instantly. My friend got the bacon avocado hash which was great also. But I think if they made the potatoes a bit crispier it'd be even better. The fresh fruit surprised me the most because you can tell they were just freshly cut! Unlike most diner or breakfast places where they cut all the fruits and combine it together. The flavors of each fruit gets mixed up with each other. The service was attentive and friendly. I kept asking for more lemons and she was more than happy to give me a bunch!! Tehe ^_^ lastly the pricing was very cheap in my opinion for it's quality and size.

While I prefer neighborhood joints to chains, they are few and far between in Orlando with it's restaurant row comprised of mostly chain restaurants. But the good thing about chain restaurants is the consistency of product. And First Watch pulls it off in a good way. Located in a strip mall (what isn't down here?) First Watch is a good choice for breakfast in the area. I arrived around 10 am on a Friday morning and this place was packed. Always a sign of good things to come! The host took my name and said it would be a 10 - 15 minute wait. And it was. I was seated at a booth and began to look over the menu. And within minutes the server was there with a pot of coffee for me ready to take my order. In fact- she was so fast- I never really had time to see if I wanted something different so I went with my tried and true, an omelet. If not particularly friendly, she was efficient. Well it was then that the questions started. What kind of eggs? Egg whites, cracked eggs, pre scrambled eggs? I went with cracked and when I asked why the difference she said that many people don't like the white of a cracked egg in their omelets so they go with the pre mix. Okay. Then on to tomatoes. Were those roasted or fresh? Wow! This place certainly has the options. Since I don't eat bread I got to skip the 20 questions of what type but this place has the market cornered on choice. Even the creamers on the table come in a range of flavors. My food came up quickly, was good and I was in and out in about 45 minutes . And my tab was $17. Plenty of free parking in the lot out front as well. Was it a raveable experience? Not really. Although I really did like the quirkiness of the place as it has napkin rings with funny sayings on them. Mine said, "I love you more than bacon". Now that made me laugh!

Great service, atmosphere, and food! Blueberry pancakes and the breakfast tacos make a good combination. If your in the area this is a must stop.

I love this place. We discovered it by accident one day and now every time we see one we have to stop. The options are healthy with quality ingredients. The food comes fast and is reasonable priced.

Great food and great service, no complaints what so ever. Come early to this location as it gets busy by 10 am on weekends. The location has plenty of parking and the food comes out pretty quick (depending on how busy the restaurant is, of course). I come here often with family and we have never had any issues at this restaurant. During extremely busy times, they put out a pot of coffee for waiting patrons. Great restaurant!

I definitely recommend the Floridian French Toast, it was really tasty and it really filled me up pretty quick too. Basically, it was the best meal that I ever had here at this location. The service was great and quick too.

Great breakfast pace to go to. Be prepare to wait if going on a weekend but the wait is worth it. The pancakes are huge so be prepare to share or take home the omelets are amazing. Service is great very attentive highly recommend this place great food and great service

Small diner like place over looking the water- fair prices for quality food- 20 Minute wait on Sunday morning- good coffee in your own carafe - the toast is really good too- thick and chewy.

Nice place located in Dr. Phillips area for breakfast. Service was attentive, as soon as we sat down we had our mug of coffee with our assorted flavors of creamers. Their menu was greatly diverse with a nice selection but I decided to go with the AB&J waffle listed on their specials. It's a light, airy Belgian waffle topped with warm, creamy almond butter, strawberry sauce, fresh strawberries and our crunchy, housemade granola.Holy crap, delicious!!! The portion size was filling and the price was on point. Loved it!

First Watch is probably the best place for breakfast Ive been to and this location is always packed on a Sunday morning perhaps they need a bigger location. Fortunately we didn't wait in line for too long. I ordered one blueberry pancake and after seeing how big they are I was very happy I did since I only ate a quarter of it and was already full. I also got the veggie omelette it comes with potatoes and muffins it all made a great to go box!

Loved this place! We came for breakfast during a visit to Orlando. We were taken back by how crowded & busy it was but we were seated within 5 mins of our arrival. The food was great, our waitress was friendly. It was a great experience. I would recommend this place to anyone living in Orlando or visiting like me!

When people think of a breakfast place they usually think of a greasy diner or an out-dated IHOP restaurant. First Watch has started popping up across the country, offering fresh alternatives and twists to the usual egg and pancake menus. With well over 100 outlets in 15 states, First Watch is a breakfast and lunch focused restaurant- each location opens at 7am and closes at 2:30pm. Chad loves to get French toast- and sure, go to First Watch and you can have French toast- or you can do what he did and order the Floridian French Toast. His Sourdough Bread was toasted with wheat germ, cinnamon sugar and topped with bananas, kiwis and berries. It was delicious. He was also given a side of berry compote that was a great alternative to maple syrup. I ordered the Market Hash- a small skillet filled with a hash of seasoned potatoes, house-roasted Crimini mushrooms, zucchini, onions, red peppers, spinach, melted mozzarella and herbed goat cheese topped with two eggs cooked anyway you choose. I opted for over-easy so I could mix the yolk with all the yummy veggies. Sometimes you just want more than 2 eggs and a side of potatoes. Weekends are packed. Expect a wait although we got there around 9am on a Saturday morning and our wait was maybe 5 minutes. As we were enjoying our meal however, the lobby was filling up quickly with hungry people waiting for a table. Besides the breakfast menu (which also includes Eggs Benedict, Belgian Waffles and Omelets) they also serve a lunch menu with items like sandwiches, salads and soup. The lunch menu isn't very big either and not as creative as the choices offered at breakfast, but still a nice place for a power lunch or a light lunch with a friend. One of my favorite things also about First Watch is that the water and coffee are brought in pitchers and carafes so you can fill your own cups and not be at the mercy of your busy server. All in all, First Watch is a great place for breakfast and brunch, and isn't at all the greasy diner one thinks of when one thinks of breakfast places. There is also an allergens menu as well as plenty of gluten free options to appease about any diner. The only downside is that the menu is a little pricey, however, we joined their Sun eClub program, where we get coupons emailed to us- including a free birthday entrée!

The menu offers a varied selection of breakfast items with some healthy choices. The multigrain pancakes were very nice and the french toast also worth mention. Coffee was better than most other similar styled eateries but the refills did not come which was disappointing

Amazing place to eat breakfast or brunch. Have never had a bad meal. Great service and Great food. The pancakes are as big as a plate, so be aware if you order them, but they are delicious. I can't say enough good things about this place. It is awesome!

I've been to a lot of breakfast cafes and this place has to be my favorite. The food, service and environment were all great. The food came out hot and fresh and in such a timely manner. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area.

We drove here from Universal's Royal Pacific Resort. We never venture off property but after receiving over priced mediocre food at Universal we felt it was time to change that. We used yelp and found this spot! It was about a 20 minute wait but it was also Sunday, the complimentary coffee was a plus. We really enjoyed what we got. I ventured from the norm and enjoyed the crepegg, which was a crepe filled with egg, turkey, bacon and avocado. It comes with sour cream and cheese which I did not want. It was really delicious! I mean, it's breakfast food so I think if a place has fair prices and decent food it's great and First Watch also had friendly staff.

Came to first watch on a Sunday morning before shopping in the millennia area. There was around a 20 minute wait when we arrived, but the provided coffee in the lobby helped the time pass by quickly. There was ample waiting area seating inside and outside. There's a nice view of sand lake out back Our waitress was prompt when we sat down, with a carafe of coffee already in hand, which was a nice touch. Ordering and cooking time was quick, and even though the restaurant was busy... About 15 minutes total. All the servers were great at helping tables that weren't theirs. We easily flagged down someone for refills who ended up getting us what we wanted, instead of passing the request off to our waitress (which takes more time). My trifecta breakfast was delicious. I especially liked the multi grain waffle! The bacon was crispy and the eggs were properly cooked. We also ordered a shrimp and grits plate which was on point. Pricing was great. 2 breakfasts and 2 coffees for just over 20 dollars that didn't leave us still hungry... Great for a Sunday morning meal. Overall I had a great experience here and would definitely come back again.

The food here is fresh and well-prepared. I ordered the The Works omelet and a coffee. Omelet was simply delicious and the coffee hit the spot. My friend ordered Bacon and Cheddar pancakes, which was awesome with the warm syrup on top, giving it the nice sweet and savory combo. I like to try restaurants that are unavailable in my state and this place was conveniently located about 5-10 minutes from my hotel near Universal Studios. Definitely would recommend this place for its food, service, and cleanliness. I would go out of my way to eat here again when visiting Orlando.

Excellent! Just enjoyed an awesome breakfast there. The chikenchanga is to die for, the premium coffee is delicious, and the service is friendly and prompt. My husband had the Key West Crepes and loved it. We''re out-of-towners who relied on Yelp for a nice recommendation for a nearby cafe-style brunch. What a great choice we made!

  • Dana T.

This is a solid 4.5 stars. Good original healthy style options that actually pack flavor. Went here because they serve breakfast much later than Disney, wasn't disappointed. The pancakes are big and unique twists like bacon and cheddar. Good coffee, hash, and pancakes for a very reasonable price. Worth stopping if your in the mood for breakfast and it's not too far of a drive.

Good food, lousy atmosphere. Been coming here since they opened, but now that they've remodeled, I'm afraid they're off my list. You can only cram so many people into a box-shaped establishment. They have now exceeded the comfort level. My sound meter measured 85 dB during the lulls.

Ok my 7 year old said to give this place 5 stars and I have to agree. We got here at 11:25 am and was told there was a 20 min wait. There were correct it was about 20 minutes. After being settled a very nice waitress speed up to the table and took our order. The food was out in about 5 to 7 minutes. I was very happy with service and the food was just as wonderful. I had the blueberry pancakes, hubby had the works omelet and son had kids egg and bacon with an extra egg and cheese on them. We were all very pleased and will be back!

This place is surprisingly delicious! I'll admit that when I first walked in I thought I was at a Denny's or an IHOP. It has that feel to it because the decor and tables look simple, so I had mixed emotions because this place has such high reviews, and was "voted"' best brunch in the area. I was wrong! The food was incredible. Everything tastes like its made from scratch with zero preservatives, so everything tastes fresh and full of flavor. I wouldn't go as far as saying that it's the best brunch out there, but it does rank pretty high in my book. There are a few other places I need to try out before I can say which brunch is the best. First Watch has a seasonal menu which 9 out of 10 times is where I order from. I'm a sucker for Eggs Benedict, so that was what I ordered when I first got here. They don't use Canadian bacon, but they do use slices of honey ham which was just as good. The hollandaise sauce was light and creamy. Most other places either add too much lemon or its watery. The eggs were poached to perfection, and their home fries (potatoes) had a light seasoning that I couldn't get enough of. The coffee they serve there was perfect and they do sell it for you to take home and brew. I am definitely a fan of First Watch and I do plan on coming back often.

  • Aras S.

It was my first time here and I enjoyed my food and that is about it. It is so loud and crowded I could not even think. The server had an attitude and the prices are a bit high. I would give it 2 stars but based on the taste of the food I can't do that. I'm glad I tried it but I won't be back.

  • Iris F.

I've been told this is a healthier alternative for breakfast. I don't know - they have pancakes (HUGE! ONE is seriously enough for you), fried potato cubes and bacon. Same same but different. I never got to the healthier options. For me, as long as pancakes are served with pure maple syrup and real butter I am good! Who wants healthy pancakes? Also very positive when fruit is an option. Friendly staff and it tasted good. They accept AMEX.

When first entering it was pretty empty, but I'm sure most people aren't willing to wake so early for breakfast now days. Again a lot of business people coming in. Mostly elders as well. It's pretty mellow no loud music playing. I was approached quickly by a seemingly shy, but friendly waiter. He was well mannered and patient. He offered coffee and I agreed. He brought a big pot and I ended up only drinking one mug. He poured in the coffee for me and also brought packets of half and half along with french vanilla and hazelnut. It was served fresh and hot. I ordered the "Healthy Turkey: Egg white omelet with house-roasted onions, tomatoes, spinach and feta. Served with a dry English muffin." according to their menu. It was definitely something different. It was good but I didn't care for the English muffin, but it's not really my preference anyway and I didn't request substitution. The less questions, the less complicated for them and I think it's always best to try something new. The omelette came with three large Sliced tomatoes too. It was good, but not super tasty. It's a healthy breakfast so, can't expect too much of it. I would come back again because I kind of want to make some kind of effort to eat a bit healthy.

Great dining experience. Something for everyone breakfast lunch and dinner. Very clean, organized and friendly. You can use the "Nowait"app for priority seating. The Food is appetizing, presented nicely and a good deal for your money. Service is quick and friendly. Definitely give them a try and I am sure you will be back.

First Watch is outstanding. I eat here most weekends. Never had anything I did not like. I have been eating low carbs for I have had most of the egg dishes and they are excellent. The waffles and pancakes look great. Sometimes the wait is a bit long but there is a reason. Everyone wants to eat there. Service is outstanding and they are flexible with the menu, just ask! Go there early if you can.

  • Lily C.

I was only in Orlando for a long week-end and ate here twice. It was that good. I also went to Keke's but wished I had come back to First Watch. I had the Trifecta breakfast (2 eggs, bacon and one pancake). I ordered the carrot cake pancake and it was soooo good. My husband got the Mexican egg dish. I forget the name but he said it was awesome too. The second time we went, he ordered the bacon & cheddar pancake. The coffee was tasty too. And the best part, was the value. You can get two gigantic pancakes for $5 something. The service was excellent. While I'll be rating Keke's separately, I said to my husband, Keke's was good but First Watch made me happy. I wish there was some place near me that made those carrot cake pancakes!

Service: 5 stars for Michael, who made this breakfast a success. He was personable, thoughtful, and funny! Food: 2-2.5 stars for mediocrity in taste, consistency and presentation. Example: Hubby's taters were fine, but mine were overly brown on one side and still white on the others. Kids menu choc chip pancake was huge, but 2.5 for taste. The menu was great, but it just didn't pan out on the plates. Based on the other great Yelp reviews, maybe this was an off day or time (Thurs 12-1p)?

First Watch is a breakfast and brunch/lunch restaurant so they aren't typically open after 2:30pm. We happened (yelped) upon this one while on a three day stay on Orlando. When we arrived IT WAS PACKED with a lot of people standing around outside. Still, we managed to be seated pretty quickly. The restaurant is quite small inside. The menu boasts that they use as much local produce as possible which is great. I ordered the Acapulco omelet minus the meat and with egg whites, potatoes, and a side order of 3 pancakes for me and my daughter to share. The food was so fresh and really delicious! I've never seen prettier avocado slices. They were so bright green and flavorful. The potatoes were good. Their multigrain pancakes have different flavors available but I ordered plain. They are really big and so my daughter and I really couldn't finish an order of three. We were a party of 5 and everyone loved their food. The staff was attentive, polite, and did it all with smiles on their faces! I wish there was a First Watch in my area but I don't think they go any farther south than this area? If I'm in the area again though, I'll choose First Watch as my breakfast choice from now on. Yummy!!!

We had friends in visiting from out of town and we needed a place to go to for breakfast. They are very picky about where they will eat, so I looked on yelp. I found First Watch and I was not only impressed by the reviews but also the menu. We went there on Saturday morning 8/30th and from there we had breakfast at First Watch everyday they were here! The restaurant is clean and bright, the people working there are friendly and knowledgeable and the menu is incredible! It has something to satisfy the pickiest of eaters! From traditional breakfast to healthy breakfast and everything in between! The prices are also fantastic and will fit any budget! I have found my new breakfast joint and I thank you guys for the wonderful service and fresh and delicious food!

I've only eaten here once but it's just like any other breakfast place... It's like a Keke's. I had 2 pancakes and egg whites (one chocolate chip and one blueberry) and they are Huge. Your pancake orders come with 3 but I requested 2. I'm not a heavy eater so I keep my orders simple. Tip... If you have a birthday coming up... Make sure to get on their email list (go to the website) and they'll send you a coupon for a free entrée for your birthday. It does not cover any sides only the entrée.

First watch was a great spot that was found with the help of yelp! Food was amazing but our server was not very attentive. I ordered the "crepeggs" and it was so good! The French toast monte crisco was fluffy and delicious. Wait was reasonable ~15 mins and the atmosphere was very laid back. I love the fact that their food was farm fresh and it showed in the taste! Eat here!!

This place was phenomenal! My husband and I had the BLT Benedict...it was so good!! He hates avocado, but he ate every last bite. I loved the lemony arugula. It was just a perfect balance of flavor: tangy, creamy with the delicious crunchy bread (I want to say it was ciabatta?) without a heavy feeling because it wasn't greasy. The side of fresh fruit was a perfect pairing for this dish. My only regret was not going back for breakfast again before leaving Orlando. This place is awesome! If you're hesitating - don't. You'll love it.

Loved our meal! The special Kale Tonic juice was refreshing and delicious. My husband had the Day Glow. Very Paleo friendly! Options to sub dressed greens for traditional toast/potatoes. Bacon was excellent in my omelette. Portions were huge for kids. They loved the chocolate chip pancakes and French toast. We'll definitely be back!

I'm obsessed with the one in my hometown, so I had to take Mr Picky Tables here. (Oddly enough it is just one block away from Cedars Restaurant Lol.) He said he wasn't hungry but couldn't resist my suggestion of eggs benedict florentine style (spinach, avocado, tomato) with ham added. The verdict? Another First Watch fan! I ordered the chickichanga (chicken, chorizo sausage, green chilies, Cheddar and Monterey Jack, onions [i requested without] and avocado rolled in a flour tortilla), and as usual it did not disappoint. Not too spicy but enough to give a little kick to jump start the morning. If you are looking for a healthy option of your favorite comfort foods, definitely stop by First Watch. Unfortunately, they are only open for breakfast and lunch, so come early. The coffee isn't anything fancy, but it's pretty fresh and strong enough to perk up a non-morning person like myself.

Found this gem about 3 years ago, thanks to yelp, and everytime we drive up to Orlando we stop for the best breakfast ever! The chimichanga (chicken) is amaze but my ultimate fav is are he eggs Benedict. Also been by for lunch and had the chicken salad sandwich which was also very light, delicious and healthy. Most definitely a place to stop by for delicious food, great service, and a happy belly :)

There is a reason this place has been picked as best breakfast joint in Orlando... No review will do this place justice. I have few days remaining in this city and I have already told my wife we will be having breakfast here every morning until it's time to leave Orlando. The food is excellent. The veggies are fresh and perfectly prepared. The eggs are made just the way you ordered them. The coffee tasted good. They actually have real creamer too. Best part I think is also that this place is healthy in my eyes. As much as I love food nothing beats a delicious healthy meal

Great breakfast location! My mom and I went here for the first time this morning. I had the Egg White Omelet with Turkey from the lighter choice options and my mom had the French toast made with raisin bread. It was all delicious! Friendly service

I have been a First Watch customer for a few years, both at the location on Sand Lake and Winter Garden Village. I have noticed small changes in their menu over the years. The skillets have changed ingredients and gotten smaller. The breakfast potatoes have changed, no longer crispy. For awhile I would order off their healthy section menu. Looking it up the calories online, many of the dishes are almost the same amount of calories as the regualr dishes, so check if you are really counting your calories. The quality of the food is still good, and the price and service is good too, so I will continue to come here, I just don't love it as much as I used to.

This restaurant is one of the reasons we use Yelp so much especially when we go out of town. Excellent food...I had the ricotta pancakes. And my husband has the salmon dish. Both off the spring menu. We finished our plates. Considering the portion sizes were quite large. 5 stars on the food. Am taking one star off for the slow service. We didn't make reservations and we had about 30 minute wait before we were seated. But then again...it was Sunday brunch. I guess that is understandable. Will definitely come back when in Orlando again.

I'm a breakfast guy, and this was one of the best I've ever had! Breakfast chimichanga, waffle, and kids meals were all outstanding. Service was excellent. There is a pretty long wait so use their NoWait app to get your spot.

Friendly staff, very clean place, excellent food with tons of selection even for healthy/gluten-free eaters. Way nicer than a typical diner breakfast/lunch place, would be my top spot for breakfast if it was in my hometown (just visiting on vacation). My wife and I both ordered skillets that were delicious, ended up going half-and-half because both were so good. Side of fresh fruit was a nice touch too!

This is my favorite spot for breakfast! The seasonal items are the best! A whole pot of coffee on my table? Yes, please. I highly recommend this place for lunch or breakfast.

Fabulous breakfast restaurant. Do not miss this one. I had the chickichanga. Fabulous flavors of chicken, avacado, and bacon wrapped in a grilled tortilla draped in a slightly spicy sauce, this one is a real winner. My friend had the bacon hash, and really enjoyed it. The star of the show, though, was the pancake we got to share. This is what a pancake should taste like: light, fluffy, slightly sweet, with warmed syrup. Do not miss the pancakes. Coffee is also outstanding. Hot and strong, this is likely the best cup of coffee I had all week. A little pricier than a regular greasy spoon, and well worth the additional coins. Do not miss it when staying near Universal.

Nice little place to grab breakfast and good change from the hotels when you are visiting Orlando. I had the eggs and salmon with their yummy hashbrowns. Excellent.

Great brunch and great service. The service is undeniably great. Staffs are very nice. The food is as good as expected. We had belgian waffle, breakfast scramble, key west crapegg, and parma hash. My friend loved the hash! The egg crepe is also good. I rated three stars because I compared with other brunch that I had before. But in overall, it's a good place for brunch in Orlando!

The place lived up to its reviews! When we first drove by it looked like it would be a very long wait but they got 5 of us seated in less than 10 minutes. Kids food came out fast and wasn't the normal type of kids breakfast. The variety of omelets were great. Even had options for those of us that try to stay low on the carbs. My wife was able to order tomatoes in place of the potatoes and they didn't have an up charge which we found is typical. Friendly staff as well. Wish they had one of these up in Gainesville.

I needed a fast meal before getting on a bus. I ordered the Swishroom omelet, coffee, and fresh squeezed orange juice. Very tasty food and my server was nice.

Well it's my second time here and I have to say as long as you get a nice waiter like Olivia your in good hands! The portions are ridiculously huge! The food was absolutely delicious. I had an omelette yesterday and I regretted it when I saw my sisters pancakes with real blueberries I had to come back the next day (now) for some. The pancakes are so huge you would think they used a whole gallon making them. You would think after reading all this that they would charge you a ton of money, but they are actually dirt cheap! I should say economic because this place delivers excellent service at a great cost! Enjoy your pancakes!

Nice quality place for breakfast. Very nice service. Prices a little bit on the high side due to retaurant is located near the tourists area of Orlando. We will definitely come back here when in town.

First Watch never fails to disappoint! Pleasant atmosphere, versatile menu, great service and high quality food. Eggs cooked perfectly, blueberry pancakes were plentiful, and my french toast was spot on delicious! Coffee pots and cream at the table (why doesn't every breakfast spot so this?). Five minutes from the Hyatt. Highly recommend!!!

Don't pass this place up! Delicious, high quality fare with exceptional service. Everything from the friendly wait staff to the clean environment is on point. They have a vast menu offering healthier options as well. Most of their items are homemade daily, including the granola and muffins. You'll literally get your food in about 8 minutes hot and fresh with a smile. Go here, you'll thank me later :)

The foods not like another reviewer said, i ordered "The works" omlet. The eggs were dry and over cooked. My bf had French Toast, it was nothing special. We believe we can make it ourselves at home. Service is fine. Don't have too many expectations when u go so u will not be disappointed.

We were in town for a day and wanted to try a new place for brunch then ihop or the usuals that you see all over the place. I found this place on yelp and gave it a try with my husband. It was AMAZING! Everything was fresh and got..and most importantly clean place.

The food here was great. I can't eat gluten so it is hard to find a breakfast place I can eat at. The had a delicious quinoa plate that was very filling. I had enough to take home for leftovers.

This place rocks!!! I'm not going to write a long review, just going to say this: for all of you Chicago folks that are in town on vacation...? This is Orlando's "Egg Harbor" - you will not leave disappointed.

My wife and I really loved this place! On the outside it doesn't look like all that much but inside was very nice. My wife got the Florentine eggs Benedict which was very good. I had the avocado, tomato bacon hash which was also great. Service was exceptional. Overall a great experience.

We stopped here for breakfast on our way out of Orlando and everything was terrific. Special kudos for fair treatment for tea drinkers--they gave me 3 tea bags and enough water for 2 large mugs. Lots of healthy options. I recommend the hashes. I had the daily special and my son had the bacon and onion and loved it. Service was perfect and willing to accommodate special requests.

Nothing special. Not worth the wait. I would not go out of my way to come here. Food was ok. Not bad . Not very tasty. I don't understand the rave reviews on here. Those people must not get out much.

  • Mary E.

For breakfast this place isn't much better than IHOP. We had the trifecta, which included waffles, eggs and bacon. The "thick cut of bacon" looked more like Oscar Mayer cooked in the microwave. Eggs weren't properly seasoned and tasted like they came from a powder mix. How was this place voted best brunch? Are there just not that many options in Orlando?

Fresh fruit! Yes, it was delicious fresh fruit. Sometimes when I order fruit at certain places it is not impressive but I was very pleased with my fruit bowl. The overall feel of this place is cafeteria slash diner. I am not a huge fan of the First Watch but I do like it every once in a while, just not my go to spot. This was my first time here at this location, I usually hit up the one in Altamonte which has more of a diner feeling.

I was looking for a good breakfast place close to the hotel we were staying in and was lucky enough to find this one really close to where we were. I absolutely loved this restaurant. It was clean, neat and pretty, staff was friendly and attentive, and the food was great. The menu is organized into three sections, Breakfast, Brunch, and Lunch. My kind of place. The breafast menu also had a "healthy" option where egg whites, veggies, fruits, and non-fatening food were available. I had an omelet from the healthier section and I loved it. My sisters had the chocolate chip pancakes, I also tried them and they were delicious and HUGE. One pancake is enough for one person... unless you've got a big appetite. The breakfast potatoes were also delicious!!!! I kept stealing them from my husband's plate [he had the Alcapulco Express Omelet--which he loved]. The coffee here was really great... so much so that we bought one of their ground roast packages to take home. Again, service was attentive. Our waiter was very nice. Seriously good food.

I ordered like almost everything. This was my first time here and I saw the menu and was excited! I had the pancakes, eggs, fruit dish, hash, etc etc. I do not remember everything but all was very fresh. The herbs that they used made the dishes earthy and I thought that stood out from a lot of other restaurants. The food reminded me of brunch places so I was surprised that the general atmosphere is not that cozy feeling, it felt like an IHOP haha, but that is okay... I was impressed by the overall food. The staffing had some delays with their service but that is okay.

Ever since I discovered this place years ago I have to stop whenever I'm in Florida. They have the best breakfast in the area. Lots of great options on the menu and it doesn't feel like a chain, even though it is. I especially like their omelets.

    (4)
  • Sahira G.

Smaller location than the one in Altamonte, so waiting for a table was uncomfortable and annoying on a Sunday morning. Service and food, however, are quick and accommodating. My husband and I always get the Eggs Benedict. Lately, they have poached my egg too long and I have been getting hard yolks, but the Hollandaise, turkey, and avocado goodness keeps calling me back. I've stolen a few bites from dishes others have ordered and I've never had a complaint. Their hash, by the way, is too good for ketchup. And try the OJ!

    (4)
  • Sandra M.

I had the Floridian French toast which came under a bunch of fresh strawberries, bananas, and kiwis and it was good. I'm giving it an extra star because I like all the healthy and organic options. I think it would have been better though if they only gave 2 slices of the french toast instead of 3 - a person needs some caloric room to add some protein in there. How about adding some turkey bacon to the menu?

Efficient, consistent and clean are words I'd use to describe First Watch. Like almost every other breakfast restaurant, it's a bit overpriced (Food cost percentages in breakfast restaurants boggle my mind), but not ridiculously so. Service is fast, but lacking the warmth that I love about dining out for breakfast. It's almost too clean, and I'm not just taking about the restaurant itself. Healthy is great, but at breakfast , sometimes I want a little grease with my breakfast. I guess that's what one should expect from pre-cooked bacon.

If there were more stars I would give it to this place. I love it. I came with my family on vacation and we stumbled upon this place due to the reviews and I must say they were on point. If your in the neighborhood make sure to stop here and enjoy an awesome breakfast.

Looking for a good breakfast spot. Big plus for no crowds. Pancakes were okay and large, I like regular ones though. My cajun omelette was okay. The chicken was good but the eggs were nothing special. Cannot compare to Ole's omelettes. They did have a healthy unique menu which some of our party liked. There were a lot of food choices in this area off Sand Lake.

Awesome place for a flavorful and healthy (depending on what you order) breakfast. Just be prepared for a wait... There was a huge line and the wait was at least 30 mins. They do give you coffee (hot and cold) while you wait which is nice. I had the Chickichanga which was great. If you like breakfast burrito's, be sure to give this a try! I like the variety of healthy breakfast options and may give them a try if I am in the area again.

I was giving a presentation at a conference and wanted to be sure I had a great breakfast beforehand. I turned to trusty Yelp to help me find a spot that would do the trick and that's how we ended up at First Watch. It's a bit difficult to find as first as it's located in a strip mall but once you're there, parking is easy and we didn't experience a wait to be seated (weekday). There's definitely something for everyone on their extensive menu ranging from your traditional eggs and the works to pancakes, waffles, to a healthy food section. I wanted something filling but also light so I selected the fresh fruit crepes which came with the muffin of the day. Although service was a bit slow, the crepes were definitely worth it - the fruit was fresh, the crepes were light and airy, and they were topped with some fresh strawberry yogurt with a side of granola and the muffin of the day (brain I believe). Bottom line, I would definitely recommend coming here if you're in need of a breakfast spot in Orlando. Tip: After dining you need to take your check to the register and pay directly there. Tip can be left at the table or added to your credit card bill.

Our breakfast arrived very fast and the service was excellent. The slogan here is "yeah, it's fresh" and the food reflected it. My skillet hash was hot, light tasting and delicious. The wife had the turkey chive crepegg which I enjoyed but she felt the hollandaise lacked flavor. Excellent quality and value.

My dining experience included my wife, our four children and my parents. It was fantastic to say the least. Although there were eight of us, we were immediately welcomed. Our server, Omar, was amazing as he gave advice and a great personality, and of course great service! The food was spectacular. I had the Chickichunga and, taking Omar's advice got a few Jalapeños on it.. DELICIOUS! Bursting with flavor! All of our plates were cleaned and we left feeling wholly fulfilled with our dining experience. I encourage you to give this place a try.. I, and my family, will definitely be back!!

We came to First Watch after reviewing Yelp. The seating was pretty quick, with the initial impression being clean and friendly. Our waiter greeted us shortly there after and delivered our drinks and took our food order. Drinks came and a bit of a wait for the food. I ordered the Carrot Cake pancakes with the Farmhouse Hash. The mammoth size pancakes arrived and I understood the wait time. The pancakes were awesome, two of them could feed the table. The Farmhouse on the other hand was inadequate. Only 2 pieces of chicken and instead of the eggs being cooked with the hash, there were thrown on the top as a mere after thought. The spinach and zucchini were almost non existent, so basically it was just potatoes and eggs. The waiter was great, I expected the manager to come to the table, after the waiter explained the situation- still waiting. They lost a star for the lack of this.

This is an exceptionally enjoyable breakfast place a bit off the beaten path from the standard options near the theme parks, but it's well worth going a bit out of your way for a meal. I went here with my wife after a couple days of craziness with the Mouse and it provided us a nice relaxing place to hit up before we started the long drive home. The food is all fresh and the prices are quite reasonable. I highly recommend giving the banana nut pancake and turkey patty a try!

  • Mandy C.

It was just ok. Not the best or worst breakfast spot I have tried. But I probably won't go back. It took WAY too long for our simple breakfast and with a 1 year old this makes the experience for us less appealing. It did seem very family oriented and good prices. But I cannot even remember what we ordered because nothing stood out. I do remember that the muffin didn't taste fresh or fluffy. We tend to not want to waste our calories on ehh food, so we left most of that muffin.

  • Lisa C.

Good breakfast place with many healthy options. I wish they had this place back where I live because it'd be nice to have a break from cooking every once in a while and be cooked FOR (and we always feel sick after eating at the only other place we have: IHOP). :) On our first day I had the triathlete omelet (egg white omelet with tomatoes, mushroom, and chiles served with salsa and fresh fruit, which was awesome... I subbed grits for the English muffin). Today I'm going for the pumpkin pancakes! Their chocolate chip pancakes were delicious and fluffalicious (I had some of my daughter's as it was way too big for her) so I'm hoping they'll add chocolate chips to my pumpkin pancakes and then I'll be in breakfast nirvana!!

In general, I'm a fan of the First Watch chain, but this location was "no bueño". The food was cool, as with any First Watch. This bad review is about the service. Our server Janine was half friendly, but clearly this isn't her calling. First, she complained that the OJ we ordered took so long because she couldn't open the container. Our table had no white sugar, so I asked for some; which I didn't get until my tea was cold. We requested butter for our pancakes & got it toward the end of our meal. Should I even mention the dirty silverware? I even had to go the the host for "to go" containers because our server was no where to be found for quite some time. However, she did return as we were leaving to pick up her tip. I probably wouldn't come back to this particular location.

I was looking for an inexpensive good breakfast place to go to the night before I came here since we were going to Disney World later in the day. Saw the good reviews so I decided to give this place a try. I got their Parma Hash, my cousin got their blueberry pancake and 3 people got their Chicken Palermo. My hash was pretty good. There wasn't a lot of sausage in mine and and I wish there as more sun dried tomato in my order. Blueberry pancakes and it is a pretty big size. I mean HUGE!!! You will get full off of it, you don't need a side order or anything else really. I don't know how their chicken palermo taste like, everyone who ordered it got a salad to go with it (you pick salad or soup). I was told the sandwich was pretty good and their salad dressing is also quite good. Service is super friendly and nice. Also, when I ordered a hot tea, they brought over a box that had 3 or 4 different kind of tea bags and if I wanted another tea bag the tray was just in front of me to grab which I thought was very nice. Even though I had a pretty good experience I took one star off because I thought the food here is priced a bit high. Definitely a place I would come again if I were to visit Florida again.

  • Omar C.

I went here twice during my trip to Orlando. My girlfriend was craving for their pancakes and I wanted more turkey sausage. Their food is fantastic and the service is great. I never waited more than 20 min for a table. Upon ordering coffee I was expecting to get a cup of coffee but NO they served me an entire pot of coffee! I was WIRED! The pancakes have a nice buttermilk flavor with a fluffy texture to them however the egg whites were nothing special. The turkey sausage was ridiculously good. I would go here hungry cause the portions are pretty large and you will definitely want to finish your meal. Keep First Watch on your list of sunday brunches.

  • Joanna C.

It's the little things that blow me out of the water. At First Watch, it was that they bring you WARM maple syrup for your pancakes. IT'S WARM! And their pancakes... THEY'RE DELICIOUS! I ordered a blueberry pancake to go with my omelet (after my awful meal at IHOP, I needed something to make me believe in pancakes again). And these, delicious, slightly crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, studded with blueberries and served with a side of blueberry compote pancakes were absolute HEAVEN. And my omelet (Acapulco Express Omelet) was studded with giant pieces of avocado, and there's nothing that says "I love you" more than silky pieces of avocado in my mouth. I was KICKING myself for wasting precious breakfast time elsewhere. I'm now a huge fan of First Watch! Why didn't I go on Yelp to map out my meals before I left for Orlando??

  • Melissa T.

The wait is so long on a Sunday! I was quoted a 30 minute wait for a party of two, but it turned out to be more like 45-50 minutes. They do offer complimentary coffee while you wait, but I found the coffee to be too acidic. I recommended my boyfriend get the chickichanga, while I got the french toast. His was better than mine - my stupid sweet tooth always gets the best of me. Actually, the chickichanga ranks among one of the best brunch items I've ever had. I didn't think I would enjoy it as much as I did. The french toast was just okay. If I'm ever in Florida again, I'll definitely come back.

After seeing this on Yelp and also reading that it was voted "Best breakfast in Orlando" we decided to give it a try. It was just what we were looking for in a breakfast place. It's clean (no sticky tables or floors), bright and reasonably priced. Food is traditional breakfast with some healthy alternatives. Service was friendly if not a little unattentive. I didn't care though because the food was good and the atmosphere pleasing. I definitely recommend First Watch.

  • Heidi T.

I was really excited to try a new brunch spot. After looking at the menu, I thought this would be the perfect place for me as they have plenty of "healthy" options. I quote healthy because the company advertises a multigrain pancake. Word to any health conscious fit freak out there, THEY ARE NOT MULTIGRAIN!!! They are regular pancakes mixed with berries and granola. There is nothing multigrain about those pancakes. Now, don't get me wrong, they were really good. They just weren't what I ordered. Huge disappointment. But if you don't give two pickles about whether or not they serve what they advertise, this might be a good fit for you. Personally, I prefer KeKe's.

Ate here twice in the last five days while vacationing in Orlando. Food and service were excellent both times. The fact they leave a water pitcher and coffee pot on your table at all times was huge with this yelper. Highly recommended!

*sheepish* at first I thought this was some kind of Jehovah's Witness breakfast place because of name similarity to Watch Tower. But alas, this seemingly little hole in the wall franchised breakfast cafe (breakfast till 2pm, i believe) is actually a very friendly and welcoming place to eat. Their menu selection is extensive and creative. It includes pancakes, waffles, french toast, omelets, benedicts, breakfast burritos, crepes, yogurt, salads, sandwiches... They also serve free coffee! =) Not as good as Bad Ass Coffee but.... a nice gesture. We ordered the Floridian French Toast and Monterey Sandwich. Both pretty good. The FFT (ohhh Fast Fourier Transform!! hehe j/k) - was very light and pretty healthy since it's made with wheat germ. Also topped with an inordinate amount of bananas, strawberries + kiwi! The total was $14 for our two very large entrees. GREAT bang for the buck!

Hands down, the best breakfast/brunch we have come across in Orlando. Delicious food carefully prepared with thoughtful healthy options. Well proportioned servings and a fantastic staff! This place was recommended by our hotel, and they were right! We will definitely return when we are back in Orlando and wish we had one at home!

I went to Orlando on a business trip and we couldn't decide on what to eat, luckily there was yelp which lead us to First Watch. While the name sounds interesting, the food is so simple yet so good! I got the fluffy waffles and they were SO GOOD! the egg and the sausage complemented that very well and their very own Maple Syrup was good too. Overall, portion was just right, price was good, that's why we went there twice in 3 days for breakfast! Hopefully they can expand to the east coast and give some love to Cali :D

I'll be honest, I'm a morning person. And I think a large part of this comes from the fact that I absolutely love breakfast. I love breakfast foods, from dry cereal to the most sumptuous and fluffy frittata. First watch, while doing an adequate job of serving healthy food in a clean, nice setting, made absolutely no impression on me. I found the food to be surprisingly bland. I'm a healthy eater, and healthy and flavorful are not mutually exclusive. I don't think I would actively avoid the place, but I might make some other suggestions if breakfast is needed.

Wow! I'm surprised this place was a great find in Orlando. When I vacation up here it's real hard to find healthy choices or at least fresh tasting food.... But first watch has filled this void for me :)!! They have a variety of menu items that all looked delish..! They actually have a health conscious portion on there menu... I had the turkey spinach egg white wrap w/ mushrooms... Served with a small fruit bowl!!! It was amazing and so satisfying.. My boo had belgian waffles eggs and turkey. Also THE SERVICE was great I think candice took care of us... She was fast taking the order.. Refilling drinks.. And had us out of there quick... I never needed a thing ! I wish I could find more quick and nice service like this...! Oh ps try the iced green tea a+!

Ever find something you like so much that you just can't bring yourself to try anything else on the menu, even though you know you should? Though I'm disappointed that First Watch changed my old fav (the Breakfast Scramble) it forced me to try other things. Now my whole world has changed and I'm even more addicted to this daytime cafe. Glorious pancakes, how could I have gone so long without trying the specialty ones (carrot cake, granola banana, and the bacon cheddar). They are huge, and if you can only do one on your first visit, make it the bacon cheddar, trust me. I was skeptical first too. And then, I did the unthinkable, I ordered something from the lunch side of the menu that has become my new fav - the Beefeater! Don't bother with the chicken salad sandwich, its open faced, and skimpy on the meat, try the Beefeater with tomato soup and you'll be glad you did. I've tried Peach Valley (several times), Christo's, Keke's, Mimi's, and all the other breakfast joints in town. First Watch is still my hands-down favorite for quality, consistency, and value.

This is my go-to place for a simple, hot breakfast with friends. I would guess this was my 30th visit this past Saturday and once again I was not disappointed. We always arrive just as they open, so seating is never a problem. Though I will say they sure keep the restaurant temperature set at Arctic Freeze, so bring a sweater ANY time of year. I tried the Greek Fetish omelet with fresh spinach, feta cheese and onions. Thankfully the red onions were served OUTSIDE the omelet, as they were QUITE strong smelling. I normally like red onions, but put these aside. My companion and I were able to substitute the roasted potatoes for fruit, something I never knew we could do. It's hit or miss with the fruit selection, as what you are served is entirely dependent on what is fresh this time of year. Super friendly server was efficient. Omelet was light, though could of used a bit more fresh spinach for my taste. Everything from start to finish was relaxing and delicious. Great place for families. Pricing is perfect...food is perfect....staff is perfect. Happy Dining!

Absolutely amazing, fresh, and healthful breakfast joint. We had such a great meal yesterday, we're going back tomorrow! Definitely a gem on SLR. Oh, and be prepared to wait on the weekends - at least 25 minutes, but it's definitely worth it for a hearty breakfast :)

Can't give this place a five for a few reasons. First, it's not Dixie Kitchen (Evanston, IL). That's hands down our favorite breakfast/brunch place, bar none. Second, they set carafes of coffee and pitchers of water on the tables. But if order ice tea, no such luck. They bring it by the glass and no matter how nice my husband was or how much he raved about how good the ice tea was the wait staff definitely seemed to cut off the supply after about three glasses. Other than that, a solid four. Great pancakes. Tried the wheat germ, pumpkin (seasonal), muesli, and blueberry. Not all on the same visit though ;-) !!! They do a nice job with substitutions. And have lots of healthy choices with no up charge. Place was busy every morning we went there, but we never had to wait for a table. But it did make us feel like we shouldn't linger. Oh. They also had free wifi that worked quite well. We will definitely go back next time we're in Orlando.

Ate breakfast twice here on vacation. The food was good, and the service was fast, friendly and helpful. We arrived just barely after opening, so I can't comment on lunch or on how speed or service or noise level is affected when they get busy. If you like sweet, the blueberry pancakes, cinnamon raisin French toast, and fresh fruit crepes were all hits. On the savory side, we very much enjoyed the farmhouse chicken hash and the bacon and onion hash.

I love First Watch and can always count on a good breakfast/brunch wherever they are located. I ordered the Chickenchanga, which was excellent, as always. Wife and the little one had the chocolate chip pancakes and since both had clean plates, I will take that as a testimonial that they loved their meals. Coffee was delicious. However, service was a little off. Our waiter was very nice, but not very attentive---failing to follow up with refills or even to ask if everything was ok after we received our meals. I am sure the service issue was an anomaly since below par service is uncommon from our experience from at least 2 other locations. Don't let the service at our visit dissuade you from going here, since the service is usually very good and the food is always excellent and priced reasonably.

Skip the chain restaurants and go straight here! Very creative menu. I had Quinoa for the first time here with Rosemary Chicken in it. My omelette was light and moist and my waitress Betsy was awesome. You'll wait about 15 minutes on the weekend but they've got coffee waiting for you.

Every time we go here on a weekend before noon: We wait, then we get seated. The wait staff is constantly flocking all around us to get the order in so they can serve it real quick so they can give you the bill and ask you to leave, in a manner of speak. If you order a small glass of anything or don't want coffee, you get the look; you know the one, the look that implies you are a cheap skate. But I don't drink coffee. So now I feel I have to explain myself to the wait staff, "look ma'am, I'm not cheap, I just don't drink coffee. And as far as the small orange juice is concerned, I am allergic to orange juice and the fact that I am ordering a small glass constitutes a real treat for me, and an unusual one at that; so kindly wipe that look off your face and don't judge me and let me enjoy my SMALL orange juice. Prick." My breakfast is always served cold (whether it's eggs, English muffin, or bread, or pancake). The flavor is not that great either. The entire place has an uncomfortable vibe and one is not made to feel welcome by any of the people who work there. And it's really loud too. Interestingly enough, the Ihop on Kirkman Rd. has been revitalized. Great, tasty food, really nice staff. Just an FYI.

First Watch takes the classic breakfast concept and spruces it up by offering healthy alternatives right along side the our favorite breakfast indulgences. It's not a unique experience but a pleasant one. The omlettes are executed well and delicious, and the breakfast burrito was tasty. If you have a group of three people and one is craving breakfast, the other is on a diet, and the third is hungry for a sandwich, than third watch is the perfect place to satisfy everyone.

Looking around for a breakfast/brunch place in Orlando is like looking for sea water while on a fishing boat out at sea. They are EVERYWHERE, from the cheapest to some very expensive options. My poor long suffering husband was nominated as the event planner (we were meeting up with his parents on their visit from the UK) and looked up some options (both on tripadvisor and another restaurant/hotel review website) and said "let's try here". It was very close to us so we decided sure - why not - but we were expecting the normal, eggs and bacon with toast and hash browns and watery coffee. BOY were we wrong. We were so wrong that long after breakfast, while packing and getting ready to leave our hotel room, my husband was sitting on the chair looking worried. I asked him what was wrong and he sighed and said "I just can't find the words to express how wonderful breakfast was." and went on in detail to tell me just how superb he'd found it - and how he couldn't find the words to express how much he loved it, which I will detail below. The point is that it so exceeded his expectations, he just couldn't stop thinking about it. Firstly, it's in a strip mall that you wouldn't really think twice about going into - so don't be fooled by that. Once inside, we were seated immediately (it was about 9 ish on a Sunday morning, just before the big brunch crowd) - and the minute we saw the menus, we were silenced. No "eggs bacon and hashbrowns here" - although you can of course get something similar - it was all gourmet breakfast dishes at not-gourmet prices - hubbie had scrambled eggs with hollandaise sauce and cheese with ham, father in law had a skillet hash (Two eggs* any style atop a hash of fresh, seasoned potatoes, bacon and house-roasted onions with melted Cheddar and Monterey Jack.), mother in law had Avocado, Bacon and Tomato (Two eggs* any style atop a hash of fresh, seasoned potatoes, avocado, bacon and tomatoes with melted Cheddar and Monterey Jack.) and I had the Market Hash - Two eggs* any style atop a hash of fresh, seasoned potatoes, house-roasted Crimini mushrooms, zucchini, onions and red peppers with spinach, melted mozzarella and herbed goat cheese. There were small pots of fresh fruit as well as English muffins served with these, and let me tell you, the flavors and freshness were just outstanding. We ordered a large orange juice and shared it (best orange juice I've had in AGES - freshly squeezed and just sweet and delicious) - a pot of coffee (GOOD coffee!!!) - it was just so different from all other breakfast houses we've been to in the past. While we were eating, we noticed how crowded it was getting and there was quite a queue and customers waiting in line were given cups of coffee - how nice and what a great idea! It was OUTSTANDING. Obviously the produce is fresh, some of it is organic, it's not the normal mass-produced mass-assembled kind of breakfast food - it's thoughtful, well planned, and deliciously executed - all the combinations worked well, like they had spent years perfecting what goes with what, I could not taste any salt which pleased me (I hate salty-tasting food) - but it just tasted like everything had just come out of the garden. The eggs were a lovely bright orange/yellow, like they'd come from happy chickens. The prices were so reasonable too - I think around $7.50 (ish) for my husband's scrambled egg with hollandaise sauce, I think the other dishes were around $8.50, coffee was I think $2.59 per person (you can see it all detailed below in the check). The only thing I found odd and didn't like was that the Beverages section on the menu had no prices - obviously an oversight but I hate having to ask anyone "how much is coffee? How much is orange juice?" etc. Should be prices on there for all food and beverage items. However, that is such a miniscule complaint, but just something that needs mentioning. Overall, we gave our event planner (my husband) a standing ovation. Well, we stayed sitting down but asked him to pretend that we were standing up. If you're reading this darling hubbie, choosing so well means you don't have to do the dishes for one whole week. Well, at least until tomorrow night. OUTSTANDING, DIFFERENT, FRESH AND DELICIOUS - NOT TO MENTION DELIGHTFUL SERVICE STAFF AND GREAT SERVICE. Will we go back? If in Orlando, without question. Would we recommend it? Again, without question. Best breakfast/brunch place around.

First Watch is a great breakfast/ brunch spot. Usually, I go for the sweets. They never fail to deliver on that front. This time, I wanted something savory. I tried one of their crepes with scrambled egg inside. Mine came with avocado, cheese, and turkey bacon. The crepe itself was thicker than I expected, but it was definitely good. I didn't eat the English muffin soaked in butter since I wanted some of the potatoes. The potatoes were good- some crunchy, some soft, not too much salt. Good menu items with good prices. I'm definitely a fan of First Watch as a whole.

Great little place! Hidden gem...or maybe not because we waited 30 minutes but it was worth it! We don't drink coffee but water both hot and cold were left on our table for tea and drinking refills. The pancakes are amazing! We tried both the carrot and banana granola definitely the best I have had! Turkey sausage is a must get! Great service as well

When my friend came into town last weekend and we met up for brunch, we originally had our hearts set on Cracker Barrel. However, due to unfortunate circumstances, we ended up at this First Watch out in the Dr. Phillips area instead. And I must say that despite the horrible rainy weather outside, it was worth the 15-20 minute freezing indoor wait. I've been to First Watch out by UCF many times, so I figured I would list the major differences between that location and this one: --The restaurant is slightly smaller (hence the 15-20 minute wait) --The logo on the outside of the restaurant is small and less apparent, which can kind of make it tricky if you're driving around the plaza and aren't sure where First Watch is --It's in an area out by I-drive, so you will more than likely be dining with those tourist types --The plaza it's located in happens to be right in front of a huge lake, so if you're lucky enough you may get a "table with a view" like my friend and I did Other than that, the food was still delicious, our service was still good, and I would certainly go back again. Every time I go I like to try something different so I tried one of their breakfast skillets this time (Bacon, Avocado, Tomato skillet) and it was perfect. It even came with an English muffin on the side and a fresh fruit bowl. Just a tip: if you love First Watch coffee and/or are particularly tired, just ask for a to-go cup. It's also a great way to take advantage of the $2.29 UNLIMITED coffee price.

My favorite chain breakfast. No doubt. Best pumpkin pancake I have ever had. Ever. Carrot Cake Pancakes? YES PLEASE?! I don't eat bacon, but rumors (and my friends' facial expressions) lead me to believe the bacon and cheddar pancake is awesome. I am an egg kind of girl and the Joaquin yahoo is so good. BONUSES: *Many of their breakfasts are under 500 calories. *TURKEY SAUSAGE. *Many veg and non red meat items = options!

First off... I am not a huge breakfast fan. Brunch is a much better concept but this is a breakfast joint that toys with brunch but does not have it down. We had to wait ~20 minutes on a Saturday morning to get into First Watch. The place does not have much of an atmosphere, but its fine for a Florida strip mall. My eggs were cooked well.... the turkey sausage I had was tasty. My hot cocoa was good.... my blueberry pancake.... mmm I've had much better. It was fine and tasted good enough, but it was nothing to make one take notice. Would I stop in here again, sure. Would I run back... not really, but then again I am not a breakfast fan.

Best breakfast restaurant I've ever had, hands down. Open a First Watch restaurant in California, PLEASE!!! Everything on the menu is delicious, from the pancakes, to the skillet, to the eggs benedict, perfectly amazing. I really don't know how to describe this place, it's that good. And the prices are actually not bad at all! I'm gonna be craving this place BADLY everytime I think of breakfast. Denny's? IHOP? YIKES!

Had breakfast here on the recommendation that this was the "best" eggs benedict based on another yelper's quick tip. While it was tasty, I have to beg to differ. Now don't get me wrong. I enjoyed my meal, however benedict should have Canadian bacon not ham. I was a bit disappointed that it was shaved ham cooked on the grill until warm. I wasn't so sure about the tomato addition to the stack, although it turned out not to detract from the overall benedict experience. The hollandaise was decent. My daughter had the french toast kids meal which was gigantic. Two large pieces of french toast, a fruit cup, choice of meat and a beverage. It could have reasonably fed an adult. My son had the waffles. Light and crispy. Just like waffles should be. Again with a fruit cup and beverage. All the fruit served was fresh and tasty. It was a mixture of apples, strawberry, melon and a few blackberries. Nothing tasted like it was from a jar. Big kudos on the fruit. Also notable, you can purchase real maple syrup instead of the imitation flavored syrup. That also won points with me. The coffee was hot and delicious. With a carafe on the table, you never had to worry your coffee mug would go empty. I'd definitely go again. I probably won't order the eggs benedict again. While not bad, their other breakfast options seem like a better choice.

I only came here thanks to Yelp. We were visiting Orlando on a family trip, and had no idea where to eat. The first day we made the mistake of going to a Waffle House, which was a horrendous idea. Then, I went on Yelp to find good breakfast places, and First Watch popped up. It was AMAZING!!! We were joking about going back to Orlando (from CT) JUST to eat at this place again. I got the Tri-fecta, which was a wonderfully fluffy Belgian waffle with cinnamon sugar, 2 eggs, and either bacon or sausage. It was fantastic. I also had some of their blueberry pancakes which were loaded with blueberries. It also comes with this amazing blueberry compote, which is way better than any syrup you can find out there. (Oh right, the fact that their maple syrup comes warm is a great touch.) Great place for breakfast, brunch, or anywhere in between!

This has become one of my go-to spots for breakfast/brunch in the Orlando area. The service is good and the wait for food is average. During the fall season, they featured pumpkin pancakes as their specialty pancake. I go pumpkin crazy during that time of year and the pumpkin pancake did not disappoint! I still crave for it every time I visit. This past visit, I wasn't in much of a breakfast mood so I opted for a burger. I know, I know.. a burger at a breakfast place? Not sure if I was just hungry, but the BCB Burger definitely hit the spot. The server didn't ask how I wanted the burger cooked so it came out well done, but still juicy. It was served with a side of their potatoes (deeelicious!), a small cup of fresh fruit, and a marinated salad (diced vegetables in a poppy seed vinaigrette).

We love a place that offers turkey meats and egg whites, so it was hard not to enjoy this meal. We both could not decide between savory & sweet, so BF ordered the Trifecta ( 2 eggs, Belgian waffle/multigrain pancake & choice of meat) and I ordered the Greek Fetish omelet ( sub egg whites, olives, red onion, feta & spinach) plus a Carrot Cake Pancake. The food was yummy. Hint: the pancakes are literally as big as your plate, so one was aplenty for me. Mine was good, but needed just a little more spice for carrot cake flavor, but the nuts, raisins and shredded carrots were there. Big plus is the batter is homemade, I believe or tastes better than box mix. the coffee was nothing special nor bad and they supply a carafe for your table. All and all we were very pleased for a bill for two at around $22 with tax.

Favorite breakfast place. Food: Delicious healthy options, along with your typical breakfast foods. I've tried a little bit of everything, from their crepeggs (crepe mixed with eggs and a variety of fillings), belgian waffle, skillets, eggs benedict, and pancakes. (I guess I do go here a lot) You just can't go wrong. Try everything! =) Atmosphere: Simple, well-lit, and spacious. No complaints here. Service: Quick, attentive, and friendly staff.

Solid breakfast food with nothing too extraordinary. We arrived on a Sunday at 7:30, trying to beat the crowd. The place was still quiet and relaxed. As others have mentioned, it's just a big, open dining room. Service was friendly and attentive. We tried the traditional breakfast, carrot cake pancake, and fruit crepes. Starting with the positive, the traditional breakfast was very satisfying. My husband was pleasantly surprised to find that the First Watch potatoes were cooked perfectly, something a lot of breakfast places fail to achieve. The carrot cake pancake was awesome. It was had great flavor and the perfect amount of sweetness, without having to add syrup. The fruit crepes however were not that great. Everything was cold and the granola seemed old. Just not what I expected. Overall, I would go back and have the carrot cake pancakes all over again.

During our 4 night stay in Orlando we ate at this place 3xtimes I guess that tells it all. Found it through a search n yelp. Nice neighborhood breakfast spot. Friendly service. The place it clean n has a nice menu with also plenty of healthy choises n no up charge for substitution. The pancakes are huge n tasty (my fav. banana, granola crunch). Must try if in the Orlando area.

Found this place on yelp when traveling for business. Great brunch place! Must try: Healthy turkey and sub the english muffin with a banana nut muffin (add $0.40). Friendly crowd, great service! They have free wi-fii so I was able to do work while eating. Didn't like their coffee, so get something else to drink and get your coffee for the day elsewhere.

I have been to this location quite a few times, and every time is a different experience with the staff, but the food is always good. --The food is a healthy approach to breakfast and lunch, and I really enjoy their options. The pancakes, waffles and omelets are delicious.. I have tried them all. There are way healthier choices though, and also some creative options that have latin flare. My favorite is the eggs benedict with hollandaise infused with dill. --Alot of the menu is a la carte for things like eggs and bacon, so things can get expensive for a full meal. The menu, in general, is expensive for breakfast, but average in Orlando. that eggs benedict is around 10+. The serivce is where this location could use some help. I have also been to the one in Tampa, so I can familiar with how other first watches are ran. Almost every waiter or waitress I have had here is unfriendly or unattentive. They have gotten our order wrong, never checked with our experience, not been greeted within 10 minutes. It's just been bad service for the price. I know we wonder in later in the day, normally around 1pm, so they are rounding the end of their shifts.. but come on. It's gotten to the point where we don't go anymore, seems pointless. But the food is sometimes worth the experience.

Been to this place on two occasions. Visiting from LA I wanted to try something different from IHOP or Denny's. On both occasions the service was quick and staff was friendly. I had the traditional breakfast and the bacon onion hash, both were good. The coffee is great as well, overall a great place to eat.

I liked the idea of this place, really wanted to go to an awesome breakfast place instead of just going to chain restaurants. The place was nice, didn't have to wait long for a table of two. My food I ordered was ok, nothing to write home about...hence as I write this...I even forgot what I ate ;) lol I did try my husband's food and I liked his better than what I had :) Ooh, now I remember, I had a chicken omelet...and it was ok!! :) Give this place a try, I think it's onto something! :)

First Watch is a great place for breakfast and or lunch (or breakfast for lunch). It's good food. Some are classics with a twist, while some remain more traditional. Some are healthy, some...not so much. It's a chain, but it still feels somewhat local, thanks mainly to the friendly service, but also because of the big windows that keep the dining area awash with Florida sunshine. Lastly, First Watch scores high marks with me for consistency. Every single time I've been the food is always good, and the service is always prompt and pleasant. My favorites: Monterey Club (4.5 / 5) - Turkey (piled-high!), bacon, avocado on multigrain bread. Not the most inventive sandwich, but tasty and always satisfying. Breakfast Scramble (4.5 / 5) - Open-face croissant topped with scrambled eggs with spinach, ham, cheese, and hollandaise! Burrito Vera Cruz (4 / 5) - big breakfast burrito filled with scrambled eggs, chorizo, chilies, and cheese, topped with some salsa-esque sauce. As you can see I rarely opt for the healthy options... Be prepared to wait if getting there at peak times (Noon on weekdays, 10-12 on weekends). I've been to both the Sand Lake and Maitland locations and they both get packed.

This restaurant has excellent breakfast food. In fact, I have never had the lunch items on the menu since breakfast is so good! I usually get pancakes or french toast and my husband gets the omelets. We have never had a bad meal here. Thus, it is always busy. Not a big seating area, so often have to wait around lunchtime on the weekends if you do not arrive before 11:30 am. They are only open for breakfast and lunch (which is too bad). Highly recommended!

First Watch takes a simple concept -- serve breakfast and lunch, do it well, and then go home -- and succeeds in offering a very pleasant start to the day or midday meal. I have enjoyed at least thirty breakfasts and a few lunches at this particular First Watch over the years and if there is one word to describe it, that word is "consistent." The First Watch menu relies on basic breakfast foods and simple lunch offerings. Eggs, breakfast meats, toast. It is hard to fail when preparing such fare and this First Watch never has in my experience. That said, it is difficult to award more than 3 stars because, although the First Watch Menu offers a lot of enjoyable food, none of it is particularly inspired. For example, I typically order the Greek Fetish omelet. Eggs, feta, a bit of red pepper and red onion. I've recreated it many times at home. What I get when I order it at First Watch is the time to relax and enjoy my meal without the need to do dishes afterwards. Years ago the coffee at First Watch was horrific but the company changed its brew about 3 years ago and now it is passable for such a venue. People who do not like the First Watch Brew can also bring their own from any of the several coffee franchises in the area, including Barney's, Starbucks, Delish, Panera and Einstein Brothers. If I were rating only the staff of First Watch, I would have given the restaurant a 5 star review. More than anything else, they keep me going back. Always friendly. Always attentive. Always efficient. I've never had a bad experience with the servers at this location and on a Saturday or Sunday morning, when I am most likely to take my kids out for breakfast, good service makes all the difference. Don't be put off by the three star review. First Watch is a lot of fun if you want to relax and enjoy a simple breakfast or lunch. While the fare is not adventurous, we do not always need adventure when we are just waking up! Note that there is usually a long line after about 8:30 on weekends and holidays so arrive early or arrive after lunch if you want to avoid the crowd. All First Watch restaurants open at 6:30am and close at 2:30pm.

Wow - I loved this place! Thank you Yelp for showing it to me! I was in FL on vacation, so I looked up the best breakfast spots to try. I was not disappointed. You know you're in a breakfast specialty spot when they are pretty much only open during the breakfast and lunch hours. They had a "We the people" Constitution for breakfast eaters on their wall and the back of their menu. LOL. Loved it! My hubby and I ordered too much food because we wanted to try everything. We each ordered a pancake (they are the size of dinner plates!) as well as breakfast entrees. He had the choc chip pancake, I had the carrot cake pancake. YUMMY. His entree was the 2 (or 3) egg breakfast and I had an omelet. We both loved our entrees as well. I wish this place had a location in the SF Bay Area. I would go all the time! Another nice thing is they offer free coffee while you wait for your table. That coffee was downright tasty. I took a picture of the brand and will be shopping for it online to have at home. :)

Great breakfast! Ordered: acapulco omelet (but subbed in chicken for the chorizo) and a blueberry pancake WITH granola. As I customized both items, I was a bit nervous (you never know what you'll get by the time your food goes to the waitstaff, to the cook and back) -- but both items came as ordered and were extremely delicious. The only shortcoming is that it's fairly small so you should plan on waiting for your table -- and be prepared to hear the entire conversation of fellow diners.

My husband and I had the day off and decided we wanted to eat at First Watch. Since we had eaten at the location in Longwood we figured it would be just as good. The service here was horrendous. It took about 10 minutes for our waitress to show up and ask us for our drink order. She took our food order and waited for a long while. Our original server never provided straws so we asked another server and he said he'd bring some. He never showed but started vacuuming the area. Eventually our server stopped by, we got the straws and the bill. She only stopped by our table once. No refills or anything. We rarely experience bad service but we will never go back to this location again.

We went on a Sunday, so we were expecting a crowd, but this was really something. There was no real division between the waiting area and the actual restaurant so it was kind of odd because a group of 20-30 people were standing and watching as the others ate. The gentleman who took our names for the waiting list was quite nice and friendly. The free coffee while you wait is nice too.. made up for us having to wait for over 15 minutes for a table. Our waitress was very friendly, and the food wasn't too bad either. The reason I'm taking away two stars is because the girl who seated us was quite rude. I can tell she was busy, but that's no reason to be cranky. The other reason is because the food wasn't fabulous. If we do go to Orlando again, maybe we'll go there. Not on a Sunday though,

Very good overall experience. Food consisted of high quality ingredients. Fresh fruit salad had lots of good stuff not the usual cantaloupe dominate salad. Blackberrys pineapples and grapes outweighed the cheaper melons. Both our entrees were better than yesterdays visit to keke's the chicken burrito was good could have used a little more kick but that is what cholula is for. Pot of coffee at table is nice, but coffee a bit acidic to our taste. I'm guessing that's why the flavored creamers were at the tables. Also a nice touch and helped smooth out the coffee. That being said service a bit lacking since they don't have to go around refilling cups, but the food made up for it and I'll give them the benefit of the doubt since it was Sunday morning so the 4 star may be revised when we visit off peak. All in all a breakfast oasis in the I drive area morass. Also note yelp map had it on north side of the road when it is actually located in the publix plaza on the south side.

There was a wait as expected for a Sunday morning but I feel it was worth it. First watch offers unique takes on everyday breakfast from their chickachanga to their various egg benedit

Nice atmosphere, great service. Reasonable prices. Free coffee while you wait for your table. We ordered water and coffee, and they brought pitchers to the table for the two of us, which was convenient. The item I had was the Chickenchanga, as recommended by our server, and although it was tasty it wasn't particularly mind blowing. Good place, we'll probably go there again sometime, but won't be making it a regular stop.

The wait to get a table was longer than what they told us it would be. We also had to wait too long for service...people who were seated after us received coffee and ordered before we did. We ordered two breakfast burritos and they were both flavorless...we had to add tons of hot sauce, pepper, and salt for it to taste good. Overall, the service was slow and unfriendly. Also, the food was not good. I would not recommend First Watch for breakfast.

First Watch makes going out for breakfast fun again! It is important to note that: 1) I am not a morning person. 2) Getting up, getting dressed and then going somewhere to eat is not my idea of fun. 3) I've had way too many lousy breakfast experiences. That all changed with a visit here. I was unsure about the place when I walked in. It is small. And it is spartan with little and forgetable wall art, simplistic tables and chairs, and industrial looking carpeting. But what it lacks in personality is exceeded by the staff and the food. The menu has the traditional breakfast and lunch fare, as well as their own unique creations. The items are usually healthier choices than you find. Still you will find bacon and sausage on the breakfast menu and burger and sandwich choices for lunch. The best thing to do is order a coffee or juice and take a moment to read the menu. Be adventurous and try something different. You will most likely be surprised and glad you did. The Killer Cajun omelette and Beefeater sandwich are excellent! But what really sets First Watch apart is how fresh everything is. The fruit and vegetables taste like they were picked that morning. Plus, with so many healthier choices, you can satisfy your tastebuds and feel full. A great way to start any day. There are only a couple of downsides. 1) It is much more noisy than I expected it to be. This is mainly due to the smallness of the space. 2) If you come on a holiday or weekend you will be waiting awhile. Again due to its size. And there is not much in the way of a waiting area. Many have to wait outside. But overall, this place is very hard to beat. For breakfast, brunch or lunch, First Watch is First Rate.

We found First Watch while searching for a breakfast place which was not a 'Waffle House' and were absolutely delighted with the food and the service. There was a bit of a wait, as we arrived during the breakfast ruch, but First Watch had complimentary coffee available and the wait was only 10 or so minutes. The pancakes are huge, and their house specialties were very tasty. One of the best parts is that First Watch was within 5 minutes of Universal Studios, so we went there before heading to the parkfor the day. (Having a good breakfast really helped curb the need to buy expensive in-park foods.) Go to First Watch. It's worth it.

Out of all the breakfast places that I've been to and enjoy, First Watch is my favorites. Not only do I LOVE their food, but the atmosphere is always so relaxed and happy and the location of this one in particular is in a good one. Their menu is a mixture of classic breakfast favorites and a unique flair of their own. While they do have your typical eggs, bacon and toast, I would definitely recommend that you try something different. My favorites include the wheat germ pancakes, the fruit crepes, and the bacado (an omelet with avocado, bacon and cheese) to name a few. Unlike many breakfast joints, its very easy to be healthy here and most of their food is grease-free or contains very little if any oil/butter. All of their omelets and most of their items that have egg can be made with egg substitute or egg whites and they always have fresh fruit on hand. Plus, they actually have a healthy section in their menu. If you're not much of a breakfast person, they also serve lunch. While it's mostly sandwiches, wraps and salads, its all just as good as their breakfast and healthy. They do a good job at adding a twist to your everyday lunch fare. Best of all, it's not full of grease and doesn't make you feel tired and bogged down after consumption. During the week, there usually isn't a wait. However, on the weekend there is almost always a wait for breakfast that doesn't subside until after noon. There is a bench to sit on, but once it's full there is very little standing room inside. To accommodate those waiting, the First Watch staff put out coffee and water. This place is always so clean and with an open kitchen they don't really have much of a choice, which is kind of reassuring in a way. The staff are all nice and very helpful in necessary situations. I don't think I've ever come across a bad waiter. Overall, definitely try this place out!

please bring first watch to california! this is good place for simple american breakfast. no fuss no muss no crazy amounts of grease. beware....the pancakes are huge. i can put away a 24 oz steak and still hit dessert at shula's. a stack of 3 super tasty pancakes defeated me.

Food was ok. Nothing amazing. Clean restaurant. Clean bathroom. Service is average. Had the raisen bread french toast, felt light and healthier than the typical french toast you get at ihop or carrows. It was good. Coffee was waiting for us and I must say it was pretty good.

Upon arriving there, I was turned off because of the long line of patrons waiting to be seated. It looked like a 20-30 minute wait and there was only standing space at the very entry of the door and no one acknowledged our arrival by greeting us. Needless to say, I didn't think twice about leaving. No place is worth such a wait for Brfst.

Is this really the best breakfast in Orlando? If so, I feel badly for the community. It's just ok. The best thing going for it is the full carafe of coffee for each table. Other than that, nothing stands out. I ordered the Bacado which was good but hardly a homerun. The omelet was fluffy and flavorful and that was a relief because the coffee was Folgers and the orange juice was NOT fresh squeezed. I'd come here if I lived in Orlando but it wouldn't be a place to take out of towners. It's just too chain like. But it is clean and the service was solid.

Delicious healthy menu items at First Watch. The salsa is super fresh, as is the coffee. We tried a pumpkin pancake in addition to our breakfasts and it was a treat! If you view their menu via the Yelp app or the company website, they provide the nutrition info for every dish! This is super helpful when travelling so I don't unwittingly eat too many calories. I would definitely go back.

This is a great place for a local, delicious breakfast. As others have said, you will not be disappointed. There's plenty to choose from that will satisfy any palate. The prices are very fair, and includes your choice of regular, cholesterol free, or egg whites at no extra charge. That's very rare to fine. The coffee is very good there as well, and you get your own individually full sized carafe brought to the table. I had the breakfast burrito and it was excellent. The service is friendly, fast, and detailed. I would highly recommend this place to others. We went on a weekday morning and there was no wait, but I imagine there would be a bit of a wait on the weekends. It's worth it though!

We've been coming here for a couple of years now, but not that often because we really can't see what all the excitement is about. We've never gotten the great service and great food others apparently have enjoyed. Don't take me wrong; First Watch does seem to use a lot of fresh ingredients and the staff are courteous enough. As my star rating indicates, it's an "A-OK" place. I guess I'm just not crazy in love with the meals, the staff or the comfort of the restaurant. (Two thumbs down on the chairs and the noise levels.) As for making going out to breakfast fun? Not for us. The menus and the food are pretty basic and not all that exciting. For breakfast, I'd rather stay home and cook something really good. For a restaurant, though, you usually can't go wrong by coming here. We've had a few burnt items and some that were overly salted. Calorie counts are stunningly high on most meals. But it sure beats McD's, Denny's, Perkins and lots of other breakfast places in the area. Yes, I'd recommend First Watch. Just not really enthusiastically so.

FirstWatch was AMAZING! We arrived just in time before the morning rush. Our service was great and the food was brought out quickly. The portions were perfect for 1 person. The orange juice is freshly squeezed and delicious. I ordered the breakfast tacos and couldn't be happier. Everything was very fresh. To end a great breakfast I shared a chocolate chip pancake with my girl friends.

I used to live in Florida and missed First Watch. When I recently had a chance to return, I was so excited. Breakfast is always delicious here. This time I had a simple cheese omelette and side of breakfast potatoes. Expect to have analysis paralysis on the menu. Everything looks good. There will be a wait because this is such a popular place. The only detraction I had while visiting here had nothing to do with First Watch and everything to do with how the guests waiting for tables were treating the hostesses. These gals were working their tails off and the waiting guests were incredibly rude. Manners folks! Try 'em for breakfast. Despite the rude folks, the waitstaff and hostesses were very helpful and fast.

Yelp has brought me to another delicious breakfast and brunch eatery. In our 3 day weekend, we went twice. We signed up for their email club because we really wanted to come back and take advantage of their BOGO coupon. In the 2 days we ate almost everything on the menu. French toast, waffles, pancakes, egg white omelette and fried eggs. Even their toast was da bomb. Fresh squeezed orange juice and all different flavored teas. Coffee was perfect. Not too bitter and not too weak. I have no complaints on this place. Customer service and food was outstanding. You can't go wrong going there to eat. You got to get there early cause they do close at 2:30. This place is constantly slammed so bring your appetite and a little patience to wait for your seat. I promise you it's worth it.

As good as it gets is RIGHT! Spot on service. The freshness in their dishes is delightfully satisfying. I promise you can't get a better brunch for the price in this neighborhood. I nit-picked from everyone at the table and almost fell over for their banana nut pancakes. OMG I thought I was eating fresh warm banana bread! Hefty sized portions too. The eggs are delicious and even their coffee was hard to cut off before you over stimulate the senses. Quick Tip: Sign up for their email club and you will get a coupon for a free entree with purchase.

I know what you're thinking, a 5 for breakfast? You don't understand, First Watch has the most incredibly, fresh, breakfast. I am very impressed at how much they pride themselves in making sure that their quality is the best around! Visiting Orlando is not only about Disney, but the fact that I wake up early enough to enjoy breakfast at a decent hour is part of the whole "Disney Vacation Experience " for me lol. Being a party of 8( including a baby) we did have to wait a bit. Not surprising since their food is amazing! Turkey egg white omelet- Feta cheese, spinach, tomatoes, added mushrooms, onions folded into the most perfectly cooked egg whites. No burned or over cooked spots here. These eggs are amazing, super fresh! This was served with multigrain toast which tasted like they just pulled it out of the oven. I love "pan con mantequilla", anyway it is, and can appreciate a good butter. The butter here is whipped, whipped! I was in love! Wheat Germ blueberry pancakes- This isn't on the menu but I had it at the Tampa location. The blueberries are also an add on and what a great idea that was. Fluffy, crispy, flavorful l, I mean everything you can ask for in a pancake. Daily Glow- This is a new menu item and for you fruit lovers you definitely want to order one of these for the table and one to go. This juice included freshly pressed carrot, orange, ginger and one other thing I couldn't remember. It was Soooooo good and quite refreshing. Overall a very delicious breakfast and would recommend anyone to come and enjoy. You won't regret and the prices are reasonable for the quality of the food and service.

Just go! On Sunday's, go before 9am. After church lets out you'll be waiting for 40 minutes ... or more. It's the best place for breakfast in the area that offers the freshest and best food. This was a lucky find ... and you won't be disappointed!!

Although it's a chain, the quality and food is fantastic. They are switching over to a more farm-to-table style and have redecorated the space to feature more wood and green decor. The menu is also starting to get some modern items like avocado toast and smoked salmon frittatas. My must tries: Breakfast Scramble Fruit crepes Eggs Florentine with avocado

I'm giving a 5 star for amazing food and service, which in a tourist area like Orlando, is rare to find! Our server, Manuel, helped us before we even got to the restaurant. I called to confirm the location because we had drove by it a couple times. It is located next to the Rocco tacos. Overall, great experience. Thanks, First watch!!

I've been here numerous times and every time I've order something different (breakfast foods). All of which I have enjoyed. I recommend trying the items on their seasonal(?) menu. Service is satisfactory. Also, try not to go on the weekends for breakfast because it is crazy busy. Like wait outside kind of busy. I am just a big supporter of restaurants that put an emphasize on quality ingredients like the First Watch. I also love the fact that they have healthy options available that are delicious! I have not eaten at any other breakfast places ever since I discovered First Watch. Why would I spend the same amount of money at an IHOP, Denny's, or even Kekes when the food at First Watch is superior.

First Watch has been my family's favorite breakfast place for decades. It's a tradition to go out for breakfast as a family whenever my sister and/or I come home to Orlando from school. We have a pretty standard order - a stack of wheat germ pancakes (we ask for their blueberry compote on the side - tastes just like blueberry pancakes without being too sweet this way). My dad likes the Greek Fetish omelette and my sister and I like the Forager so we will usually get both. Mom isn't picky :) Last week we went later (more around lunchtime) so we tried the Veggie Sandwich with the tomato bisque soup. The sandwich was really light and fresh; the avocados on the top were delish. We will definitely come for lunch more often. The decor has recently been redone with a vintage/rustic look which affords the location clean lines and a homey feeling. I love their milk jug water decanters Finally, this location now uses the NoWait app which allows you to get into line before arriving on site. This makes it way better than having to wait. The good thing is that they still do complimentary coffee with the wait!

I am usually pretty satisfied/really like FW, I think they serve tasty food at a reasonable price, with chipper servers. However, I haven't been to an FW in a while, so maybe corporate-wide there have been a lot of changes that are popping up at the locations. Or maybe I just didn't like this location very much. This was my least favorite experience at an FW: the interior was jarring and weird (trying to have a chic country vibe or something weird); my server was absent other than to bring me water and coffee and then the check (the hostess was the friendliest person I came across - and the restaurant was pretty dead). And, silly pet peeve but a peeve nonetheless: I do NOT like when mid-level restaurants cheap out and bring condiments, etc. in open containers - don't bring me a tiny container with a smear of pink goo and have to explain that it's the jelly, rather than the little individual SEALED packets of Smucker's jams. Mom-and-pops I get it, because of overhead and the slim margin-of-profit; fancy restaurants, I get it because of décor and I assume there is a higher standard of fussy presentation and cleanliness. But FW, you already mark-up substantially for affordable items like potatoes, eggs and bread, so I just do NOT like this change (if it is indeed a change). Based on this FW experience alone, I wouldn't return, it was seriously underwhelming.

Although it has the chain restaurant name and backing, this is a simple restaurant that hits the nail on the head while serving its meals. The dishes all have that farm to table feel and the healthier options on the menu are plentiful. Lee took care of our every needs. This was our first visit to this location but this will certainly not be our last. We were seated behind a party of 10 and even after taking an extra few moments to look over the menu, she made sure our ticket didn't get lost in the kitchen. The food arrived and was amazing. The pancakes are advertised as humungous and that is no exaggeration. The house made granola is a welcomed addition to the banana pancakes. The vegetables used in the Chickichanga burrito breakfast and Parma Hash looked fresh and tasted delicious. I was blown away with the amount of food received for such a wonderful price. This was an overall great experience that will have us returning to try the plentiful breakfast offerings and enjoy the lunch menu. Job well done.

This is a great place to have breakfast or lunch. It tends to get VERY crowded on the weekends - which tends to slow service down, but the food is great. The pesto quinoia power bowl is hands down my favorite for breakfast! We tend to steer clear of this place on the weekends - but love to pop in for a weekday breakfast.

Delicious breakfast! Healthy options! Super fresh! I've gotten a lot of things here, and never had a bad experience. Great pancakes, eggs, waffles, Benedictus, yogurts, oatmeals etc Last time I got the avocado toast and I would definitely recommend that to anyone who likes a good avocado. It's often very busy, but it really is worth it. And I might even like it better than KeKes (because KeKes doesn't do avocado or healthy).

This place was delicious! The food was really delicious. It's the perfect place for breakfast or brunch. I had the egg skillet with potato and avocado hash. I also got one pancake to share. The food was very very good. I ate every bite! My only complaint and the reason why they get a 3 start is the service! Our waitress was horribly slow and not attentive at all! It was a Friday morning so the restaurant wasn't packed. I didn't understand why she was so neglectful. I would definitely come again for the food and hopefully get a different server.

It had been a long time since we first enjoyed the awesomeness of First Watch, so up we went on Sunday morning, despite the fears of having to wait in a long line like we first did. Maybe because there are two other locations now (downtown and UCF I believe) or the locals are subscribed to the culture of the newest and/or trendiest, we pleasantly found no line and were instantly seated. I order the chicken chimichanga (chickichanga) and my girlfriend had the Parma hash. They were both delicious. Well, suffice it to say that she tried the chickichanga which has avocado inside, and she loved it, despite hating avocados. We also ordered carrot cake pancake and she liked it a lot. I'm not that big a fan of pancakes, but this one was good enough. Beware though, they are giant pancakes, so just order one if you are going to order any (food is plentiful and will leave you fulfilled). I don't care about traditional diners anymore, because there's no justification to finding good breakfast only in places that look like they've been there forever and smell like old routines and dusty memories. Give me a modern, breezy, airy, fun restaurant design anytime, especially if it's coupled by First Watch's excellent menu. I just wish one would open near Kissimmee. How about Hunter's Creek, First Watch? Don't they deserve one of you?

Always love coming to First Watch. i i make it a point to come to this restaurant as they aren't located (don't know why) in my hometown of Miami. Tried the greek yogurt with granola and the turkey omelette. Both delicious. Really good coffee too. Go before peak hours...you're almost guaranteed a wait.

This was my 2nd time to First Watch. The first time I really liked it but my second time I LOVED it! They went through an aesthetic change. New menu, new furniture, new overall feel and it really wowed me. My fresh juice, I ordered the pineapple cooler, was so delicious and refreshing. The bacon and potatoes felt like they were cooked by my dad over a camp fire. So fresh and authentic! My boyfriend and I came to first watch today because another local breakfast place had an hour wait but after this experience this is definitely our new go-to breakfast restaurant!

This location has the best decor and ambience of the various First Watches I've been to. Our server was amazingly friendly (to the point of being perky). We went for lunch and I had the 2 For You, a sort of variant on Panera's Pick 2. I chose a half Reuben sandwich and half pecan salad. Both were delicious (be sure to get the dressing on the side, it's quite sweet so you don't need much). I would definitely have both again. My best First Watch experience to date.

THIS. PLACE. IS. DELICIOUS. I went to Keke's Breakfast Café yesterday and thought that was good, but my goodness. This place beats Keke's - no contest. Pro tip - Download the app "NoWait" - you can put your name down from your phone so that you don't have to wait the time at the restaurant. What I recommend from here: - Traditional Breakfast (Bacon is delicious) - Belgian Waffle - Veggie Sandwich Service is amazing, food is absolutely incredible. Wish they had one of these in LA. I'll be back next time I'm in town!

This was by far, the best breakfast I've ever had. Organic, fresh, yummy! Order anything and you will be happy. The Kale juice was so delicious everyone at the table liked it, even the skeptics! It was so good we went each day before Disney. One day I had Florentine Eggs Benedict, another the Lemon Ricotta pancakes, which were so light, they almost floated away. I'm coming back, as soon as I can! What a delight. Coffee delicious, service perfect. We need more of these!

Poached eggs came out solid, small portions for a hefty price when it comes to breakfast foods, and generally subpar service. I've been to many First Watch locations previously and mostly enjoyed it, but this one leaves a bit to be desired. I would suggest finding a KiKi's instead. 3 stars only because I feel it's 2 stars better than an IHOP.

Looked up breakfast places to eat in Orlando and First Watch was ranked #1 so of course I had to try it out! I am so HAPPY we did too!!! The atmosphere was relaxed and it was packed but not too packed. We were sat down with 5 mins and it was definitely worth the wait. Everything on the menu sounded so delicious! I narrowed my choice to the breakfast sandwich and a blueberry pancake. The blueberry pancake was huge and it was soooo good!!! It was light and fluffy and literally melted in my mouth. My boss got the banana nut pancakes and they were delicious as well. The variety of the menu will serve all appetites... Healthy, hearty, juicers, breakfast lovers!!! First Watch is a must-try!

When entering the restaurant it doesn't appear very busy but it it just the start of the morning. The demographic appears to be of elders and group consisting of families. Ambience seems chill and not quite loud. The gentleman helping me out was very courteous and prompt in getting my order in and asked if I wanted coffee to start off. Can't beat that and it comes in a full carafe. Pretty cool and saves the server time topping it off. To order I decided on the power wrap with a side of turkey link sausages. The power wrap comes with a side of fruit and I must add at most places that have a side of fruit I couldn't touch it because it didn't seem fresh and was mushy. This fruit cup however was pleasantly on point for me that I ate nearly the entire amount. As for the power wrap, the healthier fare and option, it was absolutely tasty and filling. Egg whites with crimini mushrooms, cheese, spinach all wrapped up in a red tortilla with salsa on the side. Plenty of choices and seasonal specials. Next time when I come for a visit and want to dodge paying outrageous prices at the nearby parks this will be my go to spot for breakfast or lunch.

Was just trying to find a place to go on the drive back to the airport to return home - glad we stopped here. The food is fresh, and the service is diner like - quick, responsive, no frills. I got the granola - had everything I wanted besides that it was missing honey. I wanted honey.

Food was healthy, there was a variety to choose from, coffee was delicious, and I loved the atmosphere! Perfect place for brunch but just try to get there before the crowds arrive around 10:30am or else you'll have to experience a long wait especially on Sundays. I had the "power wrap" it was so yummy!

Friendly and efficient staff. Great breakfast or brunch spot. We all had a blueberry pancakes. They even substituted the kids menu chocolate chip with fresh blueberry cakes. Everything was delicious and fresh. ****BE WARE. The blueberry pancakes are huge!! One for a child is more than enough and 1-2 for a adult. The only bad part of the breakfast was we are heading back home from a great 5 day trip to universal and Disney. Would def come here again !!

  • Ashwin T.

Great brunch spot on sand lake road - stood out from the bevy of alternative options with its crowds overflowing into the parking lot telling a tale of (hopefully worthwhile) lengthy waits. The breakfast / brunch focus of the restaurant was clear with an entire page dedicated to options including eggs (omelettes or hashes), pancakes (multi-grain for some semblance of health) and several "healthy" options. Portions were large and satisfying and everything was well prepared. While the egg dishes were tasty but not groundbreaking, the pancakes were quite memorable, mainly due to a variety of innovative add-ons including fruit, berries, granola and nuts. All in all a pretty solid option (once you survive the wait)

I came here for breakfast on a Saturday morning. We were promptly seated but by the time we left, there seemed to be a bit of a wait. I ordered the Tri-fecta. The pancake was tasty but huge. I ended up giving half to my husband. Other than that, I wasn't too impressed. I had the eggs, scrambled with cheese. While I appreciated the fact that the cheese was cooked into the eggs, it looked like they gave me nothing but egg whites. The bacon was burnt as well. While our waitress was more than happy to bring me fresh bacon once I let her know, I was almost done eating by the time it came because it took forever to flag her down. My experience wasn't terrible but there are too many other good breakfast places out there to come back here.

Freshly squeezed juices were delicious! Everything was cooked perfectly and fast friendly service. The lemon pancakes were superb. The eggs Benedict were just okay. The hollandaise sauce was a little runny.

Really not a good restaurant, but then again almost everything in the surrounding area are tacky chains. Our server didn't know the menu at all, could not find the gluten-free menu for 10 minutes (which was ok because we checked the website on our phones), and the "fresh vegetable juice" must have had more sugar in it than a can of coke. I ordered some avocado toast and the avocados tasted like they had just come out of a freezer, which is an unpleasant way to eat them.

I visit Orlando a few times a year on business and have eaten at this First Watch location about 7-8 times. I can't believe its taken me this long to review it. Folks, this is as good as it gets. Everything I've had here has been wonderful and fresh. Their skillets are especially good. Impeccable service with and efficient and very friendly staff. I love this place. It has become my go-to every time I'm in town. The prices are very affordable and you will not leave hungry. This is a place where you can get away from all the tourists and eat like a local.

I absolutely love this place and their menu options. Being that breakfast is my favorite and biggest meal of the day, I'm always looking for places that serve healthy breakfast options and First Watch is one of them. Usually, I had the fruit crepes with yogurt drizzled on top and it was so refreshing and yummy. I have also had the tri-fecta in the past with the Belgian waffle, two eggs over easy and a sausage link, it was also good. I loved the waffle especially. It has a soft inner bread but crispy skin.

After searching for a place to eat breakfast in Orlando, First Watch came up time and time again. So off we went to try it out. We arrived at 9am Sunday morning (7/20) and were promptly seated. The waitress asked if anyone wanted coffee right away, she served it and then left the carafe on the table; a nice touch. Ordered the BLT Benedict, which was eggs Benedict on toasted ciabatta topped with tomato, bacon, arugula, avocado and of course hollandaise sauce. It was very good; the eggs were slightly runny which is how I like it. It was served with a bowl of fresh cut fruit, yum. But the star of the show was the shrimp and grits special. The grits were creamy and full of savory goodness from the andouille sausage and gravy. The texture was of the shrimp was just right; springy and flavorful. It was a huge plate! Their menu is varied and provide healthier options that most other places that serve breakfast. What other place offers strawberry filled crepes with strawberry yogurt and delicious granola as a kids menu item? Check out their online menu and decide for yourself. The place was clean, good lighting and the waitresses were constantly moving about. The restrooms were also clean. The manager stopped by every table to check on the customers. The fact that someone answers every review here on yelp just solidified it to me that they care. I was skeptical of it being voted the best place for breakfast on Yelp and in the Orlando Sentinel Best Bets for 2013, but no more! I will vote for this place as well!

Ordered the fresh fruit crepes... Fruit was really fresh but the crepe fell apart. Yogurt was way too sweet and really generic... tasted like gogurt. I wish it tasted more homemade. Granola was a little stale. Blueberry muffin was ok. Service was kinda slow.

My husband and I were initially at Keke's but left there when I was told that with my dairy allergy the only breakfast option was fruit. They were not willing to accommodate a guest with a food allergy, so we left and upon a high recommendation went to First Watch across the street from Keke's. Our waitress, Sheila, was very knowledgeable about their menu and offered me so many options that they could modify to be dairy free. I selected the Egg Sandwich with avocado, bacon and arugula, they gladly substituted the brioche bun with whole grain bread as the brioche bun had dairy in it. My husband had the Chikichanga. Our meals were outstanding and so fresh and tasty! We will recommend this place to our friends and family who live in this area and ask for Sheila for excellent service!!

I ordered the Bacado omelet and to my surprise, the potatoes came out uncooked! It shocked me that they would even have the audacity to serve them. I asked the waitress if she could please give me potatoes that were cooked well and moments later she came back with the same looking potatoes. Had they of fixed the issue then maybe I would have given them the benefit of the doubt. Aside from that bad experience, the menu is reasonably priced with many options. With all due respect, I will not be back to this location.

While I appreciated the fact that the cheese was cooked into the eggs, it looked like they gave me nothing but egg whites. The bacon was burnt as well.

My husband and I frequent first watch and they are consistently good. I love their omelettes and pancakes. Right now they have an avocado toast that is delicious. Service is always great as well.

Just wish they had a few drinks like maybe mimosas or Bloody Mary's, otherwise one of my favorite breakfast places!

  • Zurdar G.

    (5)

  • Karen Q.

    (3)

Eat here!!

Visited this past weekend for the first time and it was so good. Their coffee is delicious and I had the chicken hash dish which was divine. Can't wait to go back!

Denny's? IHOP? YIKES!

Coffee is great. The wait wasn't too bad. Love the breakfast creed: the right to substitute cholesterol free eggs without additional cost. :). Free wifi. Everything on the menu has the word fresh in it. Lol. All this and I haven't even eaten yet! Sweet.

Wonderful taste, Hugh pancake, don't order too much, otherwise can't finish it. I will go back there at my next trip to Orlando.
