Well, it's Einstein. This location tends to move through lines pretty quickly, and even when it's busy you get your food in a couple minutes. The employees at this location are less hesitant to give me a special-order egg wrap than the other locations (ya know, hold the cheese, replace bacon with ham, hold the wrap, etc....the stuff that makes me feel like I'm in "When Harry Met Sally"). The service is always friendly and it's just a good, quick, cheap breakfast place. Good bagels, lots of cream cheese options, and good lattes/coffee drinks! Tip: sign up for their emails & "like" them on Facebook, and you'll get a lot of VERY good coupons! And they don't spam you. :)

Home of the longest. waits. ever. for simply sticking bagels in a bag. Even longer for prepared food. It's so difficult to find salt bagels around downtown that I put up with it, though. The 20% off coupons I often randomly find in my mailbox are helpful when splurging on a fancy sammich (spinach + bacon egg panini is a fave).

These guys have great bagels and the employees there are very pleasant to deal with. Their coffee is pretty good too. My favorite thing about them is that they open super early (5am on weekdays and 6am on weekends). Sometimes if I am running an early race or my sleeping schedule is messed up from a trip abroad I will be up and craving breakfast around these times. So that's nice and convenient. Their egg sandwiches are pretty good and so are their pastries, but it's the "everything" bagels (sometimes I throw their cream cheese schmear on top) that I like the best.

The bagels here are just not my favorite. The inner and out texture is not the style of bagel I prefer. The food here is alright but not great. I have come here a few times out of desperation for a bagel when I don't have time to get one elsewhere. Staff is average and gets the job done but with no special kindness. Bagels take a few minutes to be cut, toasted, and topped with your choice of shmear, meat, or whatnot. Sometimes my bagel is barely toasted. Other times it is burnt. You really can't count on much at this location. The one in Winter Park is at least better about that sort of thing. I personally prefer the local Bagel King's style but they are in Casselberry which is too far for me during the week. I'll probably be back her sometime but not because I like it. They have a great location so I think that saves them here.

They have a great selection of bagels and spreads. Their coffee is worth going for all by itself. The service not all that great... a little unorganized.

It's Pumpkin time!!! Pumpkin bagels, Pumpkin cream cheese, Pumpkin walnut topped bagels, Pumpkin pull apart muffins, Pumpkin latte, etc. I love this time of year just for pumpkin!!! Sadly I wanted to take home a dz. bagels but at 2:00 on a Sat. there were very little bagels and no pumpkin anything. OY! I asked the young lady behind the counter if there would be anymore pumpkin bagels made before they close and she said there might be some in an hour but no guarantee. So I went to lunch in the mean time and kept my fingers crossed. Upon returning, the GM greeted me and pointed out that she over heard me and made 5 each of 6 different types of bagels. Surprise!!! She was so kind and informed me that in the future if there's ever any certain bagels I'd like to just call her ahead of time as it only takes 30 mins. to cook them. I fell in love w/Einsteins all over again! Yay! Don't forget your punch card. Current health inspection: 0-high priority, 0-intermediate & 1-basic violation

I love Einsteins but the service is very poor at this location. They always mess up my order no matter how often I go. There was one time when I called the manager to complain and instead of apologizing me he argued by saying he was "understaffed and slammed". I had to basically convince him that he needed to refund me for my meal because all 3 of the bagels that I ordered were made incorrectly and even charged me for a 4th one I didn't order. I love Einsteins but this location is horrible...

Did a pick up on a catered order and it went really smooth. The order was ready to go and the staff was friendly. Bagels were delicious and you have to try the almond honey spread. Yummy! The only thing that was lacking was the online ordering website. It is really slow and definitely needs some work.

This is my FAV place to eat in Orlando, I don't have to think twice about that. I've been coming here for years, most of the staff knows me & my order! Their food is the best, their coffee is great, prices are decent, staff is friendly & helpful but alot of times backed up. At this particular location: I wish they had a drive thru. I wish they had a bigger staff I wish they had a bigger shop! I wish they would bring back their crab chowder (omgyummmm) I wish their hours weren't retarded.

great coffee but in the morning need more people serving. It can take a long time to get food.

Great Service! I had the open face ham and cheese on an everything bagel for breakfast. It was made to order and tasty. This location get super busy but its fast and you don't wait long!

Just had to talk about this awesome bagel I tried from here: PRETZEL BAGEL!!! I'm not a huge pretzel fan or anything like that. I mean, sure, I like a good, hot pretzel with some dipping sauce if I'm hungry. But this pretzel bagel takes it to a new level! It's salty -- super salty, so don't mess with it if you're not a salt fan. But if you are it's amazing! Combining it with the reduced-fat plain schmear is just awesome! I haven't been into this store in quite some time, but this bagel was brought into my office for a meeting. It would definitely convince me to go to the store & get another! Maybe even bring half a dozen home!

My favorites are the pumpking (seasonal), Everything and Asiago. I usually don't eat there, I get it to go. But the bagels are served fast and fresh. Never have I had a problem with service at this location.

Very good breakfast option. Much fresher bagels and options than Panera in my opinion. This location gets very busy so it is usually better to grab your food and run than get a table or dine in.

I concur with so many here. I went to an Einstein Bros. in Austin once - the line was piling up, but nobody was getting food. The manager ultimately broke down, started wailing, and closed the restaurant until they got caught up. THAT Einsteins is like a Swiss Watchmaker's shop compared to this one. Do they train anybody? Does anybody there have any restaurant experience? Any ability to form cogent thought? I haven't seen such mismanagement since the Corleone family sent brother Fredo to run the Nevada operation. Ever heard the expression "it's like watching two monkeys trying to hump the same football?" Except it's a bagel. The store manager is about as organized as an octopus falling out of a tree. Okay, you get it. Never once has it taken less than 15 minutes to get a bagel sandwich. Yes, they're good, but no bagel is worth watching this swirling toilet bowl of clumsiness. A Lenders bagel and a kick in the groin is about the same. Rant over.

We were in the area and thought why not? We wandered in but parking was tough. Fortunately someone was walking out. There is more here than just bagels. They have a decent selection of spreads to go on bagels, panninis, sandwiches and soups. The dinning area isn't very large either so it is a perfect location to pick up a togo order, though if you are planning on dinning in you may have to wait a few mintues before getting a table, we lucked out and another patron left just in time. They offer chips or bananas for sides which is a nice healthy alternative. Overall, the food was good but parking and seating may be a challenge.

New Management??!! New Owners??!! The property was a mess. Employees were not happy or courteous. I actually felt we could have received better service at the McDonald's across the street! Not many tables. And what is happening with people bringing their officework/homework to a restaurant? We came here to eat. This is not a library. We bought food, but had no table to sit and eat! Where is the crew from last year?

Been here a few times over the years, most recently this past Sunday. I picked up 4 bagels and a coffee and used a 20% off coupon, which made my total $5.36. Not a bad deal! The bagels were excellent, which has been true of every bagel I've had from every Einstein store I've been to. The employees here were very friendly. I didn't notice anything wrong with the store - it appeared to be clean and well-organized. It was pretty busy when I was here this past weekend and I was very hungry and couldn't wait to get home and have a bagel, so I didn't pay a ton of attention to what was going on in the store during my recent visit. I did notice how nice all of the employees with whom I interacted were, though. All of them thanked me for coming in and were very pleasant. I would be by at this store more often if I lived closer to it, but as the way things currently are I probably will go to the stores in Lake Mary and Altamonte Springs for the time being. Four stars for now.

WARNING OUT OF BAGELS!!!! Just left with no Bagels. This place constantly runs out of Bagels almost everytime I stop here. Waste of time and gas. I will never come here again. There is a Dunkin Donuts across the street. Always have stock, employees are nicer, and food is a little better.

Service was awesome! The manager Enrique helped us with our order when we were clueless as to what we were hungry for and helped is choose the best coupons to go with our meal. Thanks a bunch.

I admit, I had to resign myself to parking the car and actually walking into the shop in order to get breakfast. I could not believe this place did not have a drive through window. I got over it.I think the process would be much easier if people knew what they wanted when they ordered. I wanted to try bagel sandwiches made with egg whites with thin bagels. the draw was of course, that the sandwich itself - made with asparagus, Swiss, and egg white is supposedly less than 450 cal. So, the thing is, when you're ordering a light bagel sandwich, in order for it to have that few calories, it is going to be a very small sandwich. Especially if you are used to the traditional size bagel sandwiches here - it might be a little bit shocking. It was okay - but definitely not something I would repeat again - especially for the money I paid. Otherwise, it was an okay meal. I got fed, and that was the purpose.

Of many of the Starbucks'esque breakfast shops around this is one of the better ones. It has some pretty unique breakfast fare compared to the standard McDonalds or other fast food, Eggwhite chipolte panini (or something like that) I tried..very tasty but a bit small for my taste..I do eat alot though so it would be fine for an average appetite. What I liked about this particular location the most is that it reminded me of a neighborhood NYC deli with all the 'goofings and carryingons..and such' by the employees... all very personable and seemingly enjoying their jobs, which give me a good indication it is not a gulag of a place to work. Not a fan of "nose egg surprise" in my meal by an unhappy employee you would get at other fast food places I am sure. The coffee was also well made, not double brewed and bitter like Starschmucks but the light brew was smooth and mellow. I would suggest checking it out for a change of pace..live a little bit ferchrisssake!

Sadly I have to join in with many of the other recent reviews about this Einsteins location. The staff used to be friendly and efficient. Now it's just sad. The service is painfully slow. I'm not sure if its an understaffing issue, or a lack of training, but it should not take 10 minutes to get a bagel and cream cheese. The food is still delicious. So at least those standards haven't disappeared. Although I was rather flabbergasted that before lunch time on a Saturday they ran out of tomatoes. I think tomatoes are in at least 50% of their lunch items.

You might come here because it is a sure thing. A place where you know you can get a decent egg and cheese quickly and be satisfied. Einstein, they try to put it in the name. As smart as Einstein.... Well think again. This morning was my first time at this Einstein, and my first time back at any Einsteins in a long time because I usually support the mom and pop places as much as possible. But I needed a quick fix to satisfy my egg and cheese craving so came here. Upon ordering, I already knew this was a mistake. They took our order as slowly as possible and after ONE hour of waiting, we still did not receive our 2 egg and cheese sandwiches. This is not a difficult order and should by no means be hard for EINSTEIN BAGEL to make 2 bagel with egg sandwiches. Well, after the staff member came out at the 55 minute mark to ask us again what we ordered, we asked to cancel our order. The manager found our receipt, and refunded the sandwiches while going out of her way not to refund the 2 coffees. Just an example of poor customer service, did she think we enjoyed the 2 coffees while waiting an hour? (Which by the way was probably the worst coffee I have had in along time) The problem with the chain restaurants is that they don't care if you are happy or not, because they don't care if you ever come back since they are busy enough without you. Poor customer service and a waste of my day. Support the mom and pops, we will all benefit in the end. Left with a bitter taste, and not just from the coffee....

mmmmmm when i am in the mood for a pizza bagel this is where I go. Extra cheese, they don't skimp! Some of the drinks are ok here too but I swear I am just so overwhelmed and distracted by the gooey, deliciousness of pizza on a bagel that everything else is just a blur. They do have free wifi too, great place to work out of for a couple hours!

I used to LOVE this Einstein's until 3 or 4 months ago. Not sure if they changed management, but they have definitely changed staff. What used to be a quick stop for a bagel is now painful. There is always a line, restaurant seems very disorganized and always a wait. I'll be going to Panera's instead.

Bottom Line first.....THE BEST COFFEE AND BAGELS AROUND! Now, on to a more detailed review. I love Einstein Bagels for a number of reason. 1. THE BEST COFFEE AND BAGELS AROUND! 2. It's not the ritzy, ditzy coffee house type coffee, just good Ol' fashioned, Neighborhood Blend type coffee...which I prefer. Super delicious, nicely brewed, but basic good homestyle type coffee. Don't ask for a Grande w/Soy Milk, Extra Caramel, Caramel Macchiatto....sorry, they don't have those"-) No offense if that's your thing. 3. The friendly owners (it's a franchise) always make it a point to say hello at most of the Einstein's I've visited over the years. They are working behind the counter as well most of the time. 4. Clean, plenty of seats for relaxing and reading while you enjoy your coffee and bagel. They also have great breakfast and lunch sandwiches. 5. They have real sugar dispensers....so for people like me....that like some coffee with their sugar (smile) you don't have to stand there and open 10 little sugar packs!! Can I tell you....that is such a HUGE selling point for me! Overall....Einsteins is a winner. If you are lucky enough to have one in your neighborhood, I recommend you give a shot...and visit often"-) You'll be a fan like me no doubt about it!

Finally I was able to find an eatery that I would deam "sort of healthy" in this neighborhood. Although I really can't blame THEM seeing as I paired my healthy bagel sandwich each day with an iced sugar cookie. Somehow ordering a diet coke made me feel that I could negate the sugary effects. :) There are multiple Enstein's bagels in California, and you can rely on them for product consistency and efficient service. I am happy to say that this location in Orlando is no different.

This place consistently has the worst service around. They are constantly understaffed, no matter the day of the week, and I have been there every day. At this point, you would think they would be aware of the busy days and times, and schedule employees appropriately. Instead, they are constantly apologizing for being behind. Frequently, the more popular bagels are out of stock early (again look at your sales charts and prepare) and this morning, they were out of all coffees except for decaf. It gets 2 stars because when you can get coffee and a bagel it is good. Just plan on waiting 25 minutes for it.

    (2)
  • Jason H.

Slowest service in the morning. Don't bother if you don't have 15 mins to spare to get a bagel and coffee. I wish the staff spent more time focused on the completing the orders and less time with the banter.

    (1)
  • Sherry m.

I love the everything bagels so much. I love that I can get breakfast for less than $4. Sometimes the service isn't the greatest (it's like they turn their back and pretend you're not there) but most of the employees are pleasant.

Asiago bagels a must, with low fat cream cheese and their unlimited coffee (vanilla-hazelnut)
