I've only been to Denny's a few times and the experience is consistently mediocre. Not inspiring, but not that bad either. Ordered the Grand Slamwich. Pretty interesting as they have tried to cram everything from the Grand Slam Breakfast into a sandwich form. There is less filling in the sandwich than would typically be found in the regular Grandslam, but I dig it. It has a sausage omelet, ham, and cheese. Total gut bomb that put my bowels in the grand slammer for a while afterwards. I don't think my system is accustomed to the shock of this much oil in my food, but I'm still an occasional fan of Denny's. The cheese cake however was nothing to write home about. Watery strawberry syrup with drippy whipped cream. Cake itself was dense to the point that you have to really work hard to get it off your teeth. I might try the apple pie one day if it's straight from the oven.

Why,why did i put my family and myself through this torture. The food was terrible even the water they give you to drink.

No cutlery, then dirty cutlery. Worst eggs, hash and bacon I've ever tasted. The pancakes were good though.

Ordering To-Go from here was the most painful experience. The lady taking the order didn't know the menus so kept asking dumb questions like "sausage or bacon?" when what I ordered comes with both and "hash-browns or toast?" when what I ordered came with neither. I ordered the Belgium Waffle Slam and get there to learn the waffle maker is broken. I get back to my hotel room to learn the biscuit I ordered wasn't in there. Yeah, ordering that kind of breakfast to go is kind of a bizarre thing to do but hey, I'm paying for it. Get it right.

We've stopped by a few times. On our recent visit, I believe we had a new server, Fernando. It was a Friday & we ordered the clam chowder with our meals. He didn't give us soup spoons, we had to ask for them... He would run by out table, drop something off and kept on going... The clam chowder was very good though!

Stopped by with a few friends last Sunday and was actually very impressed. Service was great, food was even better and found this diner to be well managed given how damn busy it was in there that morning. You really couldn't have fit another person in that diner if you had tried. This Denny's is like a mile from the International airport, and I figured most people eating next to us were coming in or catching a flight in a bit. Either way, it was an awesome find, given how inexpensive our food was and how attentive our server was with our group. I had the Grand Slam combo with fresh OJ and a side of English muffins. My friends had the Meat Lover's Delight with eggs, and my other friend ordered a Western Omelet. Everything was served promptly and smelled incredibly fresh. The food was tasty and very well prepared. I'll be going back for sure, just not on a Sunday morning if I can help it. Way too congested for me, but an overall great time nonetheless.

The server and manager were great, but the food was kinda gross. The server was super nice and got us our food once it got cooked, the trouble was the kitchen didn't get anything right. They gave us hash browns that were burnt on top and bottom, but the middle was cold. I had to eat around it in order to avoid a stomach ache. No big deal. But three of our dishes (there were six of us) came with avocado, and they were nowhere near ripe -- a couple of pieces were black, and the rest was yellow. Again, we had to eat around it to avoid a stomach ache. My family was freaking out at that point (my wife is pregnant my in-laws wanted to make sure the food was ok to eat) so we had to bring it up to the server. I hate doing things like this (even to chains), but they had to know. The manager comes out and saves the day -- the dishes with avocado were on the house and they had ordered an extra side of hash browns for me. I never got the hash browns, but at that point of the meal (we were basically full and waited 20 minutes for our food) we just wanted to get out. The check reflected the adjusted (correct) amount, and we were on our way out. The manager here was super nice and she did a great job in listening to what we had to tell her about the food. If it weren't for her or our server, this place would be getting 1 star.

eh it's a Denny's.. the server we had was excellent. I never really experienced anything bad at any Denny's. Can always count on an American Slam at 3 am to be delish!!

Food was tasty. The restaurant was clean. Waiter was horrible. Brought out my plate of food first than my companies about 5 minutes later. Never offered us a refill on our coffee, took forever to clear our table and spent most of the time flirting with the blind waitress.

You can always count on good ole Denny's when it's nearing midnight and you can't remember the last time you ate an actual meal. This particular one was near the MCO Hertz. Due to my french toast experience at the Denny's near my house - I ordered it again at this one. I DECLARE Denny's the: **************************** French Toast Champion Hurahh! *Insert much fan fare here.* **************************** I don't know why or how they do it but they do. There was one single "waitress" doing everything, or trying to at least. Setting tables, taking orders, cleaning tables, re-filling drinks, serving food, cashing people out, etc. As we handed her our bill at the register, she asked how everything was and I replied, "I'm just trying to figure out how you are doing everything by yourself." She stopped and smiled. It seemed as though few people had noticed her workload. Give her a little bit of help Denny's. Por fa vour.

I've never been to Denny's until coming to Orlando, FL for my numerous Walt Disney World trips. Personally, it's more like a diner rather than a restaurant. The service is somewhat attentive and the quality of food is just average. However, they do indeed have amazing French Toast which can be served anytime of the day as it's not just a breakfast item. Denny's is good for travelers who want a taste of home cook food away from home.

Like many other chain restaurants food and service are bad. This one is in my neighborhood so I know it better, maybe the worst thing served at this place is breakfast: Coffee is undrinkable, seems like dirty water,no flavor, no smell, and really watery. everything else is bad, eggs , bread, and service.

Waited for 10 minutes at 10:30 this morning to even be acknowledged by a hostess, etc. but nothing. There was a another couple in front of us that hadn't been helped yet either, and who knows how long they had been waiting. I get that Sunday morning is busy, but the manager who we kept seeing walk by couldn't even be bother to say in passing that she would be right with us. We finally left, and had fantastic service at Cracker Barrel.

Denny's has really fallen off lately. We often find ourselves sending food back for various reasons. Overdone, underdone, or just plain wrong. My wife doesn't eat cheese. There have been many times where we could see that they added cheese and then scraped it off. Unacceptable. It's always something. Best that we don't bother.

The mngmnt is bad here. The food took forever to come out and when it did my eggs had a piece of plastic in it. Surprise! My replacement plate came back in 2 mins. I had to practically beg for more coffee. The mngmnt allowed a customer to park between two handicapped spots. When I pointed out the guest and I asked mngmnt why the guest was still parked there I was told they couldn't find the guest. It's ridiculous. My 10 mins wait ended up being over 20 mins, the table was lacking ketchup in the bottle, a good cleaning.

I don't go to Denny's often but when I finally do, I remember why. The service is ok. As great as you would expect it for a place like this. The food is bad. Why would you pay $8 for something so easy you can make at home and it would taste 10 times better. Seriously. My order was simple; grits, eggs sunny side up, turkey bacon, and turkey sausage. The grits tasted bland, absolutely no flavor at all. The turkey was ok but nothing you can't defrost at home. The eggs.... Omg the eggs. I thought a place that serves breakfast all day would know how to make eggs. My eggs were burnt and I can't eat burnt eggs so I told our waitress that and asked if they can redo it but if they don't think they can then go ahead and give me scrambled. They tried again and it came out burnt again. Eggs are THE easiest things to make. C'mon! Needless to say I ended up getting scrambled but was very unsatisfied. I hope next time someone mentions going here I'll remember this review.

It's Denny's. The food is consistent no matter which one you go to. The servers definitely make the difference. My server was positive, helpful with local directions, and friendly. He definitely made this visit a nice experience.

I saw the average rating of this place was 2.5 stars as I sat down to write this. I'm rating it higher. Maybe I don't know how a place like this is supposed to be, or maybe the others had bad days, but I like it. This was my second Denny's ever. Previous one was 6 years ago. And being from a place where diners aren't a thing wandering into a place like this at a random time of day (night in this case) and have food was a bit of a novelty. Probably gonna get a lot of weird looks from you americans, but the experience pulls up the rating for me. Of course it do help that the waitress was helpful and the food was tasty. I need a Denny's in Norway.. maybe not too close though, could be dangerous ;)

We stopped by to get a late night to go order with a friend when we were introduced to Demario. I liked him until he started talking about Lebron James being better than Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant. I started very quickly questioning him but let's face it, we were in Florida, so we forgave him once we left. Food was the kind of quality that you get for the money you pay but Denny's is usually predictable. We didn't go in expecting the kind of food that you get at a restaurant in Beverly Hills but Demario just made the experience memorable. Good luck with the Heat this year. Hopefully they get through Indiana and the Nets or else LBJ may be leaving to the Lakers or going back to the Cavs.

Oh Denny's, you're always there. I've been to Denny's all across the nation, and have had the good times and the bad. This one was pretty good. I seem to always go there after midnight anymore, and I always get breakfast too. Other than thin bacon and kids sized sausage, Denny's is ok. Like in Antioch, CA, this Denny's served KILLER French toast. Jenn N. is all boasting about them... cause they are gud! Real gud! So, if you fly into Orlando late, realize you are starving after being subjected to a long flight, then rent a car from Hertz or Thrifty - stop by the ol' Denny's for some French Toast! Remember the drunk chick in 40 year old virgin? If that's you..Denny's!

Denny's at 3am: It's funny how pancakes can bring people together; drag queens, gang bangers and long haul truckers; presided over by large titan-like waiters who cater to each indifferently. The only other place where this seems to happen is Karaoke bars. While I'm not sure why, perhaps that's what the world needs more of. How about Karaoke AT a Denny's? Now THAT'S definitely what the world needs more of. Of course, the sudden entrance and crash of half-drunk bachelorettes lamenting their excruciating love of those whom they will marry in just a few hours - or perhaps not - gives pause to each of us there - in that Denny's - by which to measure our own situations. Supping on an order of "Moon Over My Hammy" with a side of drunken bimbo is this man's ambrosia. Only the bark of "YOU GO GHURL!" from the nearby and strung out transvestite could add the perfect compliment. Interestingly enough, this situation could be in Orlando or Omaha. THANK YOU DENNYS for your pancakes. You've found that which the world universally needs and loves. Forget the bombs and bullets. What the world needs now is love, served up by Denny's. I think we need Denny's all over the world. How do you say Pancakes in Pashto or Farsi? Strangely Google Translate doesn't offer those languages. Hmmmmmm.......... PANCAKES!

I didn't want to go in there at the beginning but the service and food were actually awesome. Good price and tasty. Loved their Hobbit special, pecan pancake and chicken cranberry salad. Too bad I can't go there again.

What you see is what you get pretty much. The food was ok. Nothing out of the ordinary. The strawberry mango lemon aide is pretty good and the overall price is ok. But you can get more for your buck at the buffet.

  • Madeline G.

Eh...your average Denny's near an airport. My choices were limited late at night. My waitress was ok, but you could tell she was overwhelmed a bit. She also kept gossiping to the other workers and chit chatting about her life....instead of helping me. I wasn't in a hurry, so I didn't mind.

    (3)
  • Brian P.

Terrible if I could leave a negative review I would. I think they were waiting for eggs to be laid to make our food. Then when it finally arrived it was cold. Flatware was dirty when it was unwrapped from the napkin. Being a local this place is highly unacceptable.

  • Rachel B.

I like Denny's. It's comforting. But I've been here twice over the course of a few days and it was a sad-making experience. The staff was nice and friendly enough--but service was painfully slow and unreliable. The few other patrons around me seemed irked too--orders were wrong and things were oddly confusing. They make a damn good patty melt, and everyone was nice. I just wish the service was a little less scattershot.

  • Annie K.

Your basic Denny's. We were states quickly and our was also taken quickly, the waitress was super friendly. The food also appeared fairly fast. My low score is for appearance. I ordered Blueberry Muffin pancakes with white chocolate chips and they looked as if someone had ripped open the top and had thrown up a blueberry patch with little white specks. It was all in one spot. I'm sure I sound picky, but it was not pleasant to look at. The waitress took it back and the second set looked fabulous. The eggs and turkey Bacon looked as of they'd been slammed on the plate. But again, the server was prepared to take care of whatever my picky arse wanted. She was very pleasant. I never expected much from Denny's, but where else do you go after midnight for breakfast, much less food that's not some gaggy fast food drive thru.

    (3)
  • JoAnna D.

Ok, you may think why such a high score for Denny's, right? But honestly this is a damn good one. I've come here twice, once at like 10PM and once at 6:30AM, and both times the food was on point and service was very attentive. It's really near the airport so they also have LCD screens with flight times which I thought was just cool. Ok, so food: First time I came I got the Reese's Peanut Butter cup pancakes which were smothered in rich chocolate sauce and drizzled with peanut butter. And when I say smothered I mean you couldn't see the pancakes at all, which were stacked on top of each other. So good, that it was more like dessert than a breakfast item, but luckily this was my late night snack. Got it with hash browns which were you, just simple hash browns. But wow, I was impressed with the pancakes, so rich I had to take them home to finish. Plus, service was friendly and decently fast. Second time I went with my husband for breakfast and saw the place packed with cops, as in they all eat here. That's a good sign in my book. So I ordered the Belgian waffle slam which was awesome. My husband ordered the meat lovers omelet and was extremely pleased. The meats were all full of flavor and I could smell the chorizo from where I sat across the table. My eggs and bacon I got scrambled with cheese and they were standard, but the belgian waffle was so crispy yet fluffy and covered in whipped cream butter so I was thrilled. So far good service and good quality food at this Denny's. I am glad I know there's a diner-like experience in Orlando, since I moved here from NY where they have real diners (I do miss them). This Denny's will do. I've traveled quite a bit so I've been to some real crappy Denny's before, believe me. I'll keep coming back, even though there's a Denny's closer to me than this one.

OK I'm back....... What can be said about a restaurant that shares a name with my chubby cousin ... This place is just what you would expect from a busy chain joint. Lots of middle of the road fair. Food was okay to good. Service was surprisingly good. Beats eating the same breakfast at Marriott prices in our hotel.

I stopped eating here after I saw a cockroach climbing up the wall right next to my table.
