Chipotle offers consistently good fresh food at all its locations. This location is conveniently located across from the Florida Mall in a plaza with loads of other eateries. Remember to try their burritos and tacos. Their spicy salsa can be real spicy for a lot of people so be careful.

I feel bad giving a 3 because the associate who prepared my order was very busy and working hard, but maybe they should hire more staff or take a person off the line to help (there were at least 5 people working the walk-in line). As I walked in at exactly noon, he was carrying a huge box (I'm assuming catering) and he asked me if I was here for pick up. I responded with a "yes" and he said he would be right with me. There were two more boxes where that one came from, so I figured he was loading them for delivery. I proceeded to the counter where I usually pick up. Rewind to this morning: I placed my order at 10 A.M. for a 12 Noon pick up. There was someone already waiting for an order. The gentleman came back in and asked my name and headed to the kitchen. I saw him bustling about, so I did not want to complain. At 8 after, I started to get impatient, but I still held it together. How can an order that was placed two hours ahead not be ready yet? There were a couple more customers that entered for online orders. As I waited, I observed that the walk-in line was faster than online ordering! He finally came out and gave our orders. He did SINCERELY apologize for the wait, which melted my anger, but I still do want to rate a 3. The food was a hefty portion for my size and tasted fresh, they gave me chips (I love the hint of lime) with each side order of guacamole and salsa, which they gypped me on last time, and my Izze Sparkling Grapefruit is always refreshing. I will go back, but hopefully they have duties a little more balanced out. If that happens, I could possibly change my rating.

Ok not having the carnitas is acceptable if maintaining standards is the reason. Now finding the portion of barbacoa so puny is NOT. VALUE is a big motivator in lunch dining selections and I hope the bean counters are happy loosing me over a couple ounces of chow. Half the portion today that I'm accustomed to enjoying . I seriously doubt with the volume of business they do or have done at this location a heavier spoon of stuff really just takes raw greed to pare the servings down this degree . Making the rent has never been hard for this place/location. Fine give the golden goose a sore behind and enjoy your clever caculating.

There are 3 factors that really determine my mood for the day: Coffee, hours of sleep, and the amount of food they give me in my burrito bowl. For some reason this location is so stingy. I always finish my burrito bowl and leave still feeling hungry. Like why you so stingy bruh? Smh. Good thing it's chipotle and the food is good. Also, don't expect the staff to be friendly. It's like they don't know how to smile or even greet. They've probably adapted to this attitude from all the ignorant tourists that they serve.

When you come to a nationwide-chain-type-place that serves chips and burritos, is it reasonable to expect that they have them in stock? Well, I'm here to tell you they were out of chips and salsa. The humanity! I had just gotten off a plane and had been thinking about these chips for a few hours. Poor me! :-) Imagine McD's being out of burgers. If they were, they'd close in shame. Shame. Shame.

This has got to be the WORSE chipotle EVER! Seriously. The portion is garbage, the staff is just rude. The manager is clueless as ever. Even when I ordered double steak on the phone i got single, and when inquired why my bill was so low they said oh you wanted double, and instead of fixing it, the girl said "pssh" and waived it off saying "you'll be ok". Like really??? Wal*Mart has better service then this, and I had higher standards for Chipotle. Then to skip out on the corn, stingy on the rice and lettuce. Like I know how much my bowel weighs when I order from Lake Mary (BTW the BEST in my opinion), or Altamonte, or even the one on 436 going towards Apopka. But this was like a rip-off. I am also going to post this on the Chipotle facebook too to warn everyone of this location. This wont hinder my chipotle experience at other locations.

Every time I go they also exceed the expectations. I always get the burrito bowl with chicken!! My favorite item on the menu. Quick friendly service.

Hands down my favorite chipotle location. Fast, not usually a terrible line. Food is always perfect!

Worst Chipotle I have ever been to. Portion size for an infant. Very stingy with the amount of food they give you. Normally Chipotle is known for the vast amount of food you get, not this location. As far as the personality of the staff, don't expect to be greeted. These people have no personality and act like robots. Avoid this Chipotle location if you have an appetite.

Worst chipotle I have ever had!!!! Go to the one on Kirkman or by chase! I ordered over the phone.. So I didn't saw them making it... It was a salad and it had maybe two bites of meat and its was drenched in some liquid and they also forgot to give me chips that I ordered. I love chipotle but that a horrible experience I am not going back there.. And definitely not ordering over the phone!

Sorry but if you run out of forks at 7pm, you get the Not Top 10 Award, aka 1 star. Food will probably still taste amazing with the spoon though.

My brother recommend here and he was spot on. Lovely fresh ingredients. Efficient service. Good staff. Give this place a try it blows other chains away (except 5 guys)

We love our chipotle but this location had not a single happy and pleasant employee. On top of that, my husband's burrito fell apart and my tacos were super soggy and I ended up eating them with a fork. Not impressed!

The food is always great at Chipotle, you can taste the freshness of the food. However, what sets most of them apart is the Guest Experience. The first gentleman I came across to start my meal was fantastic. He engaged well and completed his portion efficiently. The second two girls were not as Guest friendly, worrying too much about efficiently getting the food taken care of.

Can never go wrong with a Chipotle Burrito! Staff was great and actually put a decent amount on my burrito! I love extra cheese and they delivered on the 1st try! Meat was fresh and hadn't been sitting for a while.

Very slow service. Employees seem to be having a good time which is fantastic however, they seem more focused on that then on servicing the customers. 15 people on line and they kept taking breaks laughing and having fun. Please guys and dolls Have fun WHILE You Work. Folks come in because they are hungry. Gracias!

Overall let me just say I was so disappointed. I absolutely LOVE Chipotle just not this one. Upon walking in the girl didn't even greet us just asked for here or to go, they were rushing my husband and I with our order and almost all of the food was gone. They didn't serve us as much as other chipotles in the area and were the rudest bunch I've ever encountered anywhere. The chips were stale and heavily salted we didn't even finish them. The worst part? This was my husbands first experience with Chipotle. Hopefully I can take him to the one on Daniels road in Winter Garden so they can redeem themselves. This Chipotle however needs some work.

Fresh chicken. the employee should smile at least. Ruins my meal. yes I MAY BE SMALL AND SLIM BUT I EAT A LOT. Don't give me dirty looks when I ask for double portions. I'm a booty builder who eats everything piled on that bowl, promise.

This location is good, though I have had an issue with online ordering before. I put it in through the app but when I arrived, they couldn't find my order in the system and had to make it on the fly. Other times I've ordered in advance hasn't been a problem. I've never eaten in before because the line is always insane which is why I'm thankful they have that app!

As far as Chipotle's go, this one is top-notch. The ingredients were all fresh and cooked well, the interior was clean, and the service was the fastest I've ever seen at a Chipotle, even with a growing line during the lunch hour.

They have the freshest food. The best burritos. The best burrito bowls. And great chips. I love the that you have the choice of white rice or brown rice, red beans or black beans.

Recently went to Chipotle at 1700 W. Sand Lake Rd. In Orlando, Florida. First off the "assembly line" was filthy (one employee wiped a tiny section off with a paper napkin; not really health code), my steak burrito had maybe 2 tablespoons of meat in it, mostly brown rice. The employee didn't know how to properly wrap it so I had to eat it with a fork as it fell apart. Should've ordered a bowl instead of burrito if I knew this would've happened. The chips were very stale (and a lot less than I used to get in the bag) and barely any salsa! This is the 3rd skimpy burrito I've had from Chipotle! The others were in the new store in Ocala, FL. I've eaten at many Chipoltes' in Florida, Arizona and once in Missouri, and it used to be good, but now it's mainly rice and filler in the burritos, which is a total rip off, in my opinion! I will NOT be returning to a Chipotle again! Guess I'll go back to Tijuana Flats or Moes Southwest Grill. Chipotle has become very very chincy with their products lately!!! It's a shame because I used to LOVE their burritos!

Very good food, consistent at all locations which is a plus. I get the same thing every time which i consider healthy: Salad bowl (no dressing), brown rice, black beans, double chicken, light sour cream, guac... always hits the spot and fills me up! Only negative is the lines are horrible at lunch and dinner times...

I love Chipotle, scratch that.. I LOVE Chipotle so what would keep me from eating their delicious food that makes my mouth water just thinking about it?? This location. This location is horrible. FOUR times I have ordered from here and FOUR times they got it wrong and yesterday was just the finally. The service was so incredibly bad that I vowed to never return. I always order and go pick up since I have an hour for lunch and traffic in this area is never an ease to manuever through. I walked up to the counter as usual where I was met by one of the rudest people I have had the misfortune to meet in my life. I am not sure how bad her day had been but I do know that she decided to take it out on me. Thanks, sorry that you hate your job. I would also like to say thanks for getting my order wrong again. Exceptionally bad service + Order wrong = me not going there.

Only Chipotle in Orlando that is serves meager portions. Especially the rice & beans. Now usually Chipotle is skimpy on the meats, but this place is all. 2nd time happened to me.

Maybe its because I am from NYC, but service was very SLOW! We were on vacation and went right after we got off the plane, it was night time. I ordered a cheese quesadilla and wow they did not understand me at all. It took a long time for them to make it, then the bowl I ordered they did ok with. It just took too long for no reason. I love Chipotle, but this one was not the best.

Well, where do I begin? I LOVE chipotle, the quality of their food and what the company stands for. I always know I can go to chipotle and get a good meal that will fill me up. I came on a Thursday night with my boyfriend and we were beyond disappointed. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED!!!! We went up to order food and I had asked the girl the difference between the bowl and the salad. Never once did she explain to me the difference. I was left with a mystery even after I asked multiple times. To make matters worse, the whole time we are both trying to place our orders with her, she is not even listening because she was also trying to make a pick up order (I am assuming since I have worked in this industry before) and she was to busy talking to the cash register girl to figure out what her hand writing was and what she was making. Talk about rude. I also went on to ask her if they served the sofritas because I was very interested in trying that after watching a documentary on chipotle and I just got stared at and looked at like I was dumb. After getting our food I searched unhappily for a table and what do you know, there were 2 tables available that already had the chairs up on them. We had to find a place to set our food just to take the chairs off the table. (Seems like they were trying to "clean" up early.... but it was not that time yet). This honestly was the worst experience I have ever had at a chipotle.

We came here the other night and were not given great service. It was empty, and we were the only people in line. My sister ordered her food, but they totally rushed it. When she opened up the container for her rice bowl, the contents were all over the place. The food itself is okay, but the service this one time was not.

This Chipolte has to be one of the best I've been to. Service is always great and they definitely load my bowl with a ton of food. I definitely go with a burrito bowl with a tortilla laid out inside of it. The carnitas are so yummy delicious and I just tried the barbacoa which I found to be really delicious. Come to this location at least once a week. Right down the street and def a fav!

I like this location to grab my steak burritos!!! They listen pretty well and are pretty fast. This is a nice Mexican chain esp the burritos! I like the organic steak but i feel like it likes to stay in my stomach for a few days lol. Their food is always fresh and clean. This is my favorite location to eat in. Yummmers ;)

I love Chipotle. Their burrito bowls are amazing. I do agree w/ the gentleman below; their salsa is HOT! The meat is already spicy as it is, but if you don't find it spicy enough, you can always ask for a side of salsa.

Even though beans and I are not friends, I have come to enjoy burritos, especially Chipotle's burritos. My roommate had a craving for Chipotle since she hadn't been there in quite some time, so we tried to go on July 4th, but to our dismay, there was a sign on the door that said they were closed because July 4th "was meant for hot dogs and apple pie." We came back on a day we were both off from work, and I settled on a chicken burrito with rice and cheese (my usual). It was awesome, and I plan to keep on getting that (or some variation thereof) every time I go! I was also very happy that the location appeared clean and well-maintained and that there were cool new imprints on the bags and cups. Great choice for Mexican food near the Florida Mall!

I LOVE CHIPOTLE. However, this particular location is completely sub-par. They never trim the fat from the steak, for starters. I thought maybe it was a fluke the first time, and come to find out it is definitely more the norm. The only reason I eat at this location occasionally is because it is in the same plaza as my business. And I avoid the steak.

Chipotle never seems to let me down! Their food is always fresh and tasty! I went with a group of co-workers around 2PM today (Thursday) and it was quite busy. It died down about 15 minutes later though. The staff was very diligent and taking and preparing the orders. The price is reasonable for the amount of food that you get. The restaurant was clean and the staff was very friendly.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
