You can't go wrong with Chipotle! This location is definitely one of my favorite lunch spots. Great food, quality ingredients, efficient staff and a clean restaurant. I typically get a burrito bowl and love that I can usually get two meals out of it- unless I'm especially hungry! One of the best things about Chipotle to me is that it's easy to customize your food. Once you decide what entree (burrito, bowl, salad, etc.) and protein you want you work your way down a line where you can add rice, beans, salsas, sour cream and guacamole. It's a solid way to get exactly what you want. I tend to opt for vegetarian dishes quite often and love the addition of sofritas, tofu braised with an assortment of spices, as a protein option here. While they easily could have just cubed up some tofu and called it a vegetarian option, sofritas is incredibly flavorful and a protein I'm sure vegetarians and meat eaters alike would enjoy!

I happened to visit both Qdoba and Chipotle during the same week, and was struck by how nearly identical they are. Both offer counter assembly of burritos or bowls with rice, beans, sauce, protein, guacamole, lettuce and a couple of other ingredients. And both result in fairly homogenous, bland tasting imitations of a mediocre Tex-Mex burrito. There are minor differences in the other offerings and drinks, but not really anything of note. The major appeal seems to be the weight of the food you can get for well under ten dollars. This aspect probably explains why most are located near college campuses. It's not the worst Tex-Mex food you'l ever have, but unless you're looking for a good deal by the pound, the appeal is really lost on me.

I've been to countless chipotles across the U.S. and I'm really shocked and disappointed by this location. I don't eat meat so I either get a sofritas bowl or a cheese quesadilla with rice. Tonight I got a quesadilla from this location and asked for rice inside, like I always do, and the girl tells me "that's fine but I will charge you for a veggie burrito". I've literally never been told that ever and I've seriously been to dozens of chipotles. That's a difference of almost $3. For rice in my cheese quesadilla. Which MAYBE I wouldn't mind so much if she hadn't been rude about it. Even then..Nearly $3? For adding rice to a tortilla with cheese in it? The entire thing isn't even worth $3. What a joke. I didn't get charged for a burrito in the end, but regardless I won't be back to this location ever and if this is some new rule they're implementing - which I don't think they are, seeing as my best friend works for a different location - I would stop going to chipotle altogether. Shame on this location for being overly greedy and rude. **I will also note that this review and experience is based solely on the first girl I encountered who took my order. The following employees were VERY nice and accommodating and deserve 5 stars.**

I love, love, LOVE Chipotle and it seems weird to review a fast-food chain on Yelp, but I am consistently disappointed with the food from this particular location and would rather 1) go through the hassle of parking at Millenia, 2) pay tolls to get to the one at The Loop, or 3) stare at the dirt lot that will soon be the Chipotle in Celebration, than eat at this one. I don't know why, but the food is just odd and so inconsistent here. There's always something not right -- the rice is not cooked properly, the chicken has a weird lemon-y taste, the portions are all wrong, etc. On my most recent (and last) visit, I'm pretty sure my peppers and onions were warmed briefly over a candle flame rather than actually cooked to the point of being edible/tasty. Consistency is a BIG part of the appeal of a fast food chain. You should know what your food is going to taste like no matter which location you choose, but something's not right here. I always leave here bummed and hungry, unable to be charmed by the wise words of Paul Cohelo and Barbara Kingsolver printed on my cup. No bueno. I usually like to try to find a little good in every situation, so I'll say that their playlist is awesome and they like to crank up the volume. So if you like good music and mediocre food, this is the spot for you!

I stayed away from this place for so long. Thought it was a cheesy taco joint, but I was wrong. This place is great. You pick your style and toppings and the choices are limitless. When I crave a good taco and I can't get to a "hole in the wall" place, then Chipotle is the place to get a decent one. The bowls are good choice if you are staying away from carbs.

Love it or hate it, Chipotle has a cult following, myself included. Several times a week my taste buds physically crave this Mexican goodness! I always order a bowl with pork or chicken, all the salsas (hello spicy), black beans, brown rice and topped off with lettuce! Can't go wrong there and sometimes depending on my appetite I'm able to make a meal out of the bowl. Leftovers still taste pretty decent the next day. I am usually disappointed by the chips, I may or may not know the secret recipe, the chips should be salted and have a hint of lime. Sadly, they are usually stale and tasteless, which is a same because when made right they are the best chips in town! Regardless of the chips, Chipotle has something to satisfy everyone's Mexican craving! I hope they bring back their margaritas, those are pretty darn tasty too.

I eat here at least twice a week and I'm continuously disappointed! Our office orders online and EVERY TIME it's wrong! So tired of paying for food I don't want. I love chipotle but this location is terrible. You'd think after us calling so much management would do something. The people are friendly when I order in person and the food is good, but online can not be trusted.

I've been to this Chipotle several times and it is why I'm leaving a comment. Chipotle is known for its great portion but this location is skimpy on its portion. When I ask for a little more I am given little scraps of chicken or little sprinkle of (brown) rice. Once I asked for double meat and it was nothing. Of course the quality is still delicious and it's why I come back. I try not to come back to this location but sometimes it's convenient. Just FYI.

Usually my experience at any of the Chipotle restaurants is a kind one filled with great food and great guest service. However, from the first employee I came to my experience went down hill. I requested a burrito with brown rice, no beans, and vegetables. He read back my order and added extra vegetables. I kindly corrected him and went on with the order or so I thought. At every portion of he re-requested my order, asking about the rice which I told him, I would like brown. He questioned, "White rice?" after a couple volleys back and forth, I gave up and stated, "whichever is fine," which I do not believe he heard me. Then he said "extra vegetables?" Correcting him again, he placed the proper meat I wanted down and then it was on to the toppings. The African American girl went through the salsa and other toppings. Except, she would stop in the middle of placing my order together because she would fill toppings which did not need to filled. It was as if her job was more important then creating an efficient guest experience. While, I understand things can pile up if not taken care of in a timely manner. All she needed to do was before starting my order, let me know she has to place some of these things away or any one of the four other employees standing around packing chip bags could assist her. The final thing which set the entire visit, she marked my food as chicken. I purchased steak. To the operation this is a loss in revenue, for which I feel bad for. Finally, I arrived at the register. A shorter girl was completing orders at the register had no personality to speak of, was again more concerned with her job, then at least saying, "Hi." I tried to let the girl know, it was a steak burrito and like everyone else who was working this evening did not listen. I believe the night crew needs to be coached regarding proper procedures. I love the product and I will definitely enjoy it in the future, just not sure if it will be at this location.

Used to be a Chipotle fan. I "treated" myself , but it will be a long time before I have Chipotle again. Be forewarned, when they have a sign about the shortage of chicken - think twice. I didn't expect to be eating GRIZZLE! I got at least 3 pieces of grizzle - looked like straight up knuckle , in my bowl. Between the grizzle, too much salt, and lack of true flavor (the salsa was good) -----meh

  • Shawn C.

This Chipotle was completely disappointing and I will not shop here again, even if it were free. On the negative side - the food was bland to the point of being bad, the options were limited, the portions of those options were limited (funny enough I read an article today how they're trained to limit portions of 7 items or charge more, such as for sour cream or salsa), there was only 1 of 6 or 7 soda dispensers working, and I felt rushed through a line as though I was a piece of cattle being herded through feeding time. On the positive side, the place was at least kept clean, it was quiet, and, well, that's about it. I almost couldn't finish my burrito and I'm a hungry young guy. So overall, there is no way I would go back here. There's a Moe's essentially just around the corner (that's an honest suggestion, I have zero relation with that company) and other food places nearby. But also, what do I know, the place was still busy, so maybe bland is in.. I just know it's not for me!

This Chipotle sucks. They put a little bit of each ingredient and when I asked for an appropriate serving size they were rude about it. I will never go back to that one.

You ever eat a chipotle bowl with a spoon?? We did today at this location....a million dollar company that can not order forks for a busy restaurant??? And it was only 2:30 in the afternoon!! WOW! Staff seemed a little pissy when making our orders and shorting us on items we ordered compared to other chipotles I have been to. Manager or supervisor doing an employee review on one of the high top tables in the middle of the restaurant ?? Here is an IDEA for next time you run out of forks..there are 2 PUBLIX stores in walking distance to go and get forks!!! And it was not even that busy..we will not be back to this store again..good luck!!

By far the worst chipotle I have ever eaten at! The customer Service was horrible, not one employee even smiled, I witnessed the cashier charge a customer for guacamole which they were out of and did not refund him. The portion was way off, it was almost half of what I get at any other chipotle. Never coming to this location again. Even a one start rating is too much for them.

I don't think this Chipotle is any different than any other. I love Chipotle. It is my guilty pleasure. I say guilty pleasure because even though you could potentially eat healthy here I never do. I love the burritos. That tortilla is loaded with calories. I've gotten brown rice before in an attempt to be healthier, but I am always disappointed when I do. I love the chicken and the barbacoa. The key for me is that I get the hot salsa and then put sour cream and cheese in it. That way you get the hot salsa and the cool sour cream. Wonderful combination. The only thing that bums me out about Chipotle and this one is particularly bad is how freaking crowded they are. This is one is lined to the door every time I come and parking is not easy here. There is a private lot, but not much parking near Chipotle.

I wouldn't even give this location one star. Absolutely horrible. Customer service was non existent. Seemed like the girl making my bowl just had her dog ran over. She had a piss poor attitude. I asked how she was doing, after not being greeted as the customer, and she didn't even respond. The food tasted below average of other locations, not to mention that the portions were very minimal. Other locations actually fill up my bowl with the appropriate amount. Needless to say I will never speak highly of this place or recommend it at all. Never will you have my business ever again. REEVALUATE YOURSELVES!!!

Honestly, I am a very flexible person who isn't too picky. That is why I truly was disappointed in my visit to this Chipotle (as well as other Chipotle locations). To begin, I never understood the Chipotle hype and I still don't. The food tasted very bland and was truly a bit overpriced, in my opinion. The staff was kind and accommodating, but it is frequently busy and a long line so that's another reason for me not to visit again. My biggest issue with Chipotle is the way I feel afterwards. I spend my evenings locked in the bathroom clenching my stomach, wondering how long this feeling will last. After thinking it gave me food poisoning, everyone I spoke with told me that was normal, and it's just what happens when you eat at Chipotle. I honestly don't understand how anyone can handle feeling that way on purpose! The food was not good enough to make me feel the way I did, and I surely know the nutritional value was not anything positive whatsoever. I was thoroughly dissatisfied and will not be returning to any Chipotle for a while.

Chipolte - I think we have found ourselves on opposing ends of the Burrito Debate. You - in my opinion are horrible. The meat is not great and you put cilantro in every element of the burrito - the meat has cilantro, the beans more cilantro, the rice, the salsa, etc. You would be better off just buying a pound of cilantro at Publix for under a dollar and eating that. I will say that the chips and guac are good until you find a way to put cilantro in the chips as well. Moes has a superior product without the hipster-yuppie crowd consistently bringing up GMOs and farm-raised nonsense. If you wish to eat cilantro for $10 on a chair made from recycled tin roofs then have at it, but if you wish to have a burrito then I will point you to Moes where they will welcome you with open arms. I know our relationship will never be the same again but I hope we can pull through.

Jr. Yelpers screaming for "Chipotle, Chipotle, Chipotle". Not my fav place to eat but they seem to think the food tastes good. Prices are reasonable, $6.50 except for the steak bowl for Hubby at $7.20. Perhaps they enjoy the "you pick, you mix" idea, like a salad bar. They do give you enough food that it's filling. I couldn't finish my chicken bowl. Don't forget to ask for the tortilla (suppose to come with the meal) and extra sauces if you want to try. We had to drive around looking for this place, it's located in an outdoor mall.

    (3)
  • Brett C.

Friendly staff and clean establishment but they always skimp on the rice, of all things, and I constantly have to ask for extra.

    (4)
  • Jeff C.

Total lack of management and questionable service. Tried to order chicken tacos tonight. Had to wait on chicken while the grill guy scrubbed the floors behind the grills and a line out the door waited. Hope the staff got to go home in time. I grabbed food elsewhere...

  • Scott Y.

Well what can you say about Chipotle?... Nothing that everyone has eaten there already knows... Great prices, great flavor, and portions. You cannot go wrong wuth anything you order... Is that the beauty of "mexican fast food"? Maybe! I love this place, great food, great value, too bad there are no restaurants in Hawaii...

  • Gabe M.

LOVE Chipotle! This particular location ran out of steak and their brown rice was very undercooked. I was given a BOGO for my long weight for steak, which was very courteous. My boyfriend mentioned he stopped by this location earlier in the week, and his rice was also very undercooked then. Neither of us are too picky...but this was very noticeable.

This Chipotle is just OK. The girl in the middle of the assembly line looked miserable and irritated. The pork tasted a bit too salty. I kinda felt miserable after my experience with the line here. The only thing that made this a review up to two stars was that the burrito was delicious. (I went for the steak instead)

    (2)
  • Chip H.

Among the worst Chipotle in the chain... Workers are miserable... Food is unevenly cooked to the Chipotle standard - chicken charred, steak mooo-ing, rice undercooked, medium salsa complete liquid. You can also tell the staff has been beaten up on portion side. They always put a ridiculously small amount of each item then second it with just a bit more. Have been here a bunch of times and kept getting worse, so now I will not go to this location.

    (1)
  • Nicky D.

This is just a normal Chiptole, but they're all really good. Nothing really stood out about our experience though! If you're looking for some tasty food in a pinch and need it quick I would stop here over pretty much any fast food restaurant.

heard a lot about it from friends and even few items to the kids menu so packed up the family and headed over. the location was easy enough to find which was great walked in a thought it was a little cramped, cluttered and chaotic. :-( so we get in line and the kids menu isn't on the menu so we grabbed a menu from the side wall ordered the chicken quesadilla for the kiddies, steak burrito bowl for the husband and chicken burrito for me. after they do the kids meals the person assembling mine throws my burrito away! she was to busy chatting about some guy! got a new one and finish ordering went to go sit down. food was on the spicy side not that i mind but the kids did and the chips were stale overall I'm going to say it was OK not good not great it was not badly priced but the staff could do just a little bit better

Another Chipotle, another satisfied customer. Standard procedure of going down the assembly line and having them assemble the burrito, burrito bowl, or tacos of your choice. I went with the chicken burrito, brown rice, medium sauce, cheese, lettuce and corn. Unfortunately the lemonade was out, but I won't begrudge them that. Lemonade washes their food down well, so it is no wonder it was out. Get the Chipotle sauce for your burrito. It adds a nice touch. Stay hungry my friends..

Solid Chipotle. Easy to access right in the heart of Dr. Phillips, the employees made friendly conversation with me while they prepared my order and the food...do I even need to say it? Was delicious as always. If you're a fan of Chipotle or just need a good mexican food fix, this Chipotle fits the bill nicely.

This Chipotle gets the job done. I don't have any complaints. I always order via my iPhone app, and my food is usually waiting for me at the counter. I only once received my food cold, but that was because I probably had my bag of food waiting at the counter for 20 minutes. The employees are always usually very busy, but manage to crack a smile here and there. I am sure they are stressed out during the lunch rush with everyone flinging beans and pico de gallo all over the freaking place... but I always get my food with no mistakes. It's in a very convenient location for me (and for the people who live/work in and around Dr. Phillips). I would, however, recommend installing the Chipotle app for your smartphone and ordering from there. They always have your stuff ready, and then you don't have to wait in that cattle herd of a line!

    (3)
  • Nick J.

I gave this 5 stars because Chipotle is by-far my favorite in this category (quick 'mexican'). I eat Chipotle at least once a week, and the food is always fresh and the service is always friendly. I love the cilantro-lime rice, fresh pico de gallo, and the simple yet delicious guacamole. If anyone is still eating at Moe's, and I hope you're not, please do yourself a favor and make the switch before you break a tooth on their extremely stale rice.

I eat here every day I don't have timeto make a lunch for work. It's chipotle so you already know how the food is. If not, it's very good Mexican. Large burritos, bowls, and tacos. Sort of like a healthy version of moes. The staff here is awesome and friendly. Service is normally quick even when they're extremely busy. I'll continue to forget my lunch for this place.

Best burritos/bowls ever. American, and the complete opposite to the cheap Taco Bell alternative. America got it right on this one, Chipotle is like the Apple of fast food.

  • David M.

In concept, the Chipotle chain is excellent. It offers Mexican fast food that is both relatively healthy and quite tasty. Chipotle's meats are naturally raised without antibiotics and they are fed vegetarian diets. Produce is fresh and attractively prepared. At this location, the kitchen is consistently clean and the staff are friendly and efficient. We have enjoyed numerous burritos, tacos and fajitas at this Chipotle and we have never been disappointed. Chipotle loses a star because it is fast food and does not push the boundaries of Mexican cuisine to any new heights. Also, the ambiance in this and every Chipotle is lacking. Nevertheless, for what it is -- a higher end fast food restaurant -- this Chipotle is excellent.

  • Zach R.

It's a Chipotle. Nothing special, nothing fancy. Nothing generally out of the norm to most. If you haven't been to a Chipotle yet, thank god you crawled out from underneath your rock. Your best bet? Think Subway, with huge burritos, pretty decent salads with their specialty dressing, big bowls filled with meat and fixen's, tacos that are small but formidable, and variants that are ask-for only. Like fajitas: A bowl, with your tortilla, in foil, on the side. Or Nachos: Their signature sweet tortilla chips, loaded into a bowl and covered with whatever you feel like. They're priced based on the meat you choose: Steak, chicken (my personal favorite), carnitas (spiced pork) and simple veggie if you like. They also have fountain drinks or specialty behind the counter. Tabasco sauce, salt, pepper, and lemons located on the same table next to the fountains. Obviously, if you're looking for "authentic Mexican", GO SOMEPLACE ELSE! (preferably Mexico). Burritos like those sold from Chipotle are actually originated from California. "Mexican" style burritos are relatively small and rarely carry any more than beef, beans and cheese. Personally, both conservatives and out-of-the-box'ers alike, should definitely check out Chipotle. If you don't like what you get the first time, go back again, and get something completely different. Experimentation is one of the most wonderful spices of life! Enjoy.

On both occasions the customer service was horrible! The food portions are smaller there is barely Any meat in the bowl or burrito you ask for a little more they charge u for extra meat. When you are choosing your toppings that area is Unsanitary they wipe the counter down as the food that was on the counter falls into the food... The customer service is horrible they don't even greet you when walking in and when you tell them what you want they don't even listen because they end up asking you three more times of what you want.. I haven't been to chipotle in awhile since recently and now I remember why the customer service issue and the food.. You never see management there always a bunch of hs kids and frankly I don't think the owners or managers care as the employees are the reflection of that

Just FYI.

Friendly staff and clean establishment but they always skimp on the rice, of all things, and I constantly have to ask for extra.

Total lack of management and questionable service. Tried to order chicken tacos tonight. Had to wait on chicken while the grill guy scrubbed the floors behind the grills and a line out the door waited. Hope the staff got to go home in time. I grabbed food elsewhere...

Good food, good quality, good prices. If you go to this location the evening it is damn near impossible to park because of the people at World of Beer. Taco are good when to don't slop them together like dog food.

Enjoy.

heard a lot about it from friends and even few items to the kids menu so packed up the family and headed over. the location was easy enough to find which was great walked in a thought it was a little cramped, cluttered and chaotic.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
