We just got take out here about an hour ago and WOW we were pleasantly surprised. We are staying at a hotel here after driving all day and waiting to move into an apartment here in orlando. Originally we stopped in the shopping center for the Thai place (which was closed for the month?) and decided to try China Kitchen. The space is sparse, so I wouldn't recommend eating in. Menu was small, but had all the basics. And the prices vs. the portions were amazing. I got the mixed vegetables and my Dad got the shrimp and vegetables. The vegetables were SO FRESH. Not overlooked, still crispy, and delicious. We also got hot and sour soup and it was oh so good. And to top it off, they gave us a FREE order of crab rangoons!!!!

Surprised to see bad reviews on this restaurant. Owner is very nice and takes care of customers. Food is not great but it is very good. I take this restaurant before another Chinese restaurant in Orlando

Food was ok, but it is a horrible eat in experience! Plastic utensils, cheap ones, no knives, no water unless you pay for it. Ordered lunch special which came with egg roll, soup, pork rice and generals chicken. Told them I wanted white rice instead so they eliminated the egg roll as it only comes with the pork rice. WTF?????? Never again. Piss poor.

Summary: No! Explanation: Qt. of Shrimp Curry, Qt. of Pork Lo Mein, can of Sprite = ~$25.00, so slightly above average. No big deal. Except that the food sucked. Quart of Shrimp Curry had perhaps 5 shrimp, and literally 3 slivers of carrot and 4 snow pees. I counted those, because I was so annoyed about it. They basically sell you a quart of onion in a yellow sauce that they claim is curry. It's not. Ate a few shrimp, which were themselves bland, and tossed the rest. After all, it was just a quart of onion. The Lo Mein was passable at best, though overcooked in every way. Pork, again, was barely present, and what there was of it, was dry. The noodles were so over cooked that they had that two-day-old microwaved-for-lunch stiffness (I got to the food quick, it didn't sit - I waited for it to cook then drove it home. 10 minutes max.) And they forgot my sprite. Girl at the counter was polite enough and the food was prepared in a timely manor.

We came to Orlando for Christmas holiday and when we arrived only this cute kitchen was still open on Christmas Eve, the food was really lovely and thanks for the free snacks (even we ordered to go). Remember to try their ma po tofu and fried chicken wings!

Decided to order here due to good reviews. Ordered the bourbon chicken dinner special. $10 meal w rice eggroll soup and meat. The rice looked like it was saturated with soy sauce but was bland. Better off with white rice. Chicken was very dry. Not enough bourbon sauce. Eggroll was mediocre. The hot and sour soup was the only thing decent with the wonton chips. I might return for soup but everything else is lacking.

Staying in a hotel in the area and ordered in. Website says free delivery if within a 5 mile radius, I was 0.9 miles and on my bill was a $2.00 gas charge. This was on top of the 18% tip I gave them when I ordered online. Fried crab rangoons horrible, all fried and barely any filling. Teriyaki sticks had good flavor but very very think and small. Fried rice very bland, no flavor at all. Expensive for Chinese food and will not order again from them while I am here.

Dont you hate when you get take out food, you get it home and its not what you were hoping for? That was my latest experience at China Kitchen. I ordered the Moo Go Gai Pan lunch special. The won ton soup was barely warm and had only one won ton in it. The fried won tons that it came with were stale. The moo goo gai pan just smelled...off. I cant explain what it smelled like, just not right, kind of sour. The chicken in it is bright white. What do they do? Soak it in bleach or something? That might explain the funny smell. I ended up eating the rice and the one won ton from the soup. I wasnt going to take the time to drive back! There are several other good chinese places nearby so this one wil lbe off the list.

If you ever find yourself stuck at MCO, then give this place a try. Great food and quick delivery topped by reasonable prices make this place well worth the trip. The snow-flake chicken (w/scallops) is very good and their spring rolls are divine!

This place has the best Chinese food of the places we have tried since moving to Orlando. It is my go-to spot for delivery. They are relatively fast, and delicious. I have tried various items from the chicken and broccoli to the shrimp with lobster sauce to the sezchuan beef. It is all excellent. Did I spell sezchuan right? LOL! Anywho, this place is great. And clean!

food is very good. I live in a hotel near Orlando airport several days and ordered the food delivery three times. The food is very delicious and price is reasonable. Recommend if you live near MCO.

By far this is the best chinese food around the Orlando International Airport. If you are staying at any of the hotels surrounding the airport, there's no finer place. All the menu items are delicious, and amazingly, the order always seems to arrive at the hotel room within 20 minutes of placing the call. Outstanding! If getting delivery and paying with a card, be prepared to show the card to the driver when he/she arrives.

China Kitchen is a great take-out Chinese restaurant in a small shopping center next to Orlando Ale House. China Kitchen's food is fresh and tasty. They also have fantastic spring rolls (I think they make them in-house). They offer great lunch and dinner specials. They also deliver to the airport!

I used to get take-out from here all the time when I lived in Orlando because it was so close to my apartment. Good price and portions for their lunch specials. They've also started adding a can of soda to lunch specials which already came with a cup of soup.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
