Not brilliant but not bad. Most of the food is absolutely fine (bamboo shoots were very fibrous). The Singapore noodles were amazing. Quick and very reasonably priced we have eaten in and had take-out and the food has been consistently OK. Do not expect Cordon Bleu here but the food is OK. The restaurant is not big so do not bring a big group here.

Everything I've had at China Garden has been delicious, hot and fresh as it gets. We've tried the sesame beef, bourbon chicken, spicy ginger chicken, honey roast pork, boneless spare ribs and a few others. This place is my favorite Chinese food take-out I've found since moving to Orlando, and we've tried A LOT of places. This is the best one so far. The staff is very polite dine-in and take-out and the food is fairly priced.

Worst Chinese food I've had in a long, long time!!! The chicken was slimy and had a funky taste!! The other chicken dish came out without the sauce and it was mysterious chicken!! And as I'm writing this review a party of 5 came in and they forgot to give them menus even thou it was the only table at the restaurant besides us but we were done. Smh!!

Very rude. They made a mistake in the order and would not deliver it and fix the mistake they made. Family was disappointed. Never again.

We got our food to go on a Saturday evening (2 people). On the phone we were told it would be ready in 15 minutes. We got there 15 minutes later... and didn't have our order for an additional 1/2 hour. That's 45 minutes. There was only one table eating when we arrived and one more arrived while we waited. I don't think our order got put in until we got there. Fortunately we checked our order before we left as it was wrong. The brown rice and vegetable lo mein was good. The fried veggie dumplings weren't like any dumplings I've ever had- it was more like bread pockets with some vegetables in them. I didn't care for them. The Kung Pao shrimp did taste good but not like Kung Pao; no spice unless you ate one of the chili peppers. For the sweet and sour shrimp, they look like big fried blobs. My husband didn't like it. Finally, the fortune cookies were stale. All in all not very good except for the noodles. I would try fried rice if I came again. But if I order take out I'll wait a lot longer than they say.

I have not tried much on the menu, however the steamed vegetables with brown sauce tastes great and is reasonably priced. Really, the time it would take to wash the veggies, cook, and serve...well, on one of those lazy evenings, it is a healthy, quick, relatively cheap option.

This is honestly as good as it gets for quick Chinese food that is delivered. I've ordered from so many bad places over the years, and China Garden easily has the best food, and has been in business forever. As a rule of thumb, never get mushy food delivered unless you want to complain. (ie Moo Shu, chow mein, etc.) I got egg rolls, crab rangoon, General Tso's chicken, and Special Lo Mein. They were all GREAT, especially the chicken (very good quality). Delivered quickly, and was seriously piping hot. This is the place for delivery. Trust me.

Absolute discuss! I've ordered for years/$100's of dollars of food for family & friends now the last 3 orders have been horrible (I thought maybe a bad day or two) but TNT being 3rd order I seemed to get a pissed off delivery guy prob cause I ordered 25 min before close!!?? And they answered the phone "hello" at 10:05 pm instead of China Garden...should've took the hint. The Sweet/Sour chicken is so burnt it's like picking up a greasy rock. No noodles for soup...I just tossed the order & will be in 1st thing for a refund. I will NEVER order here again! BTW last time I ordered=bathroom all day the next day, sorry I gave u another chance. :-( Loyal customer gone forever!

Absolutely shocked at the reviews! Our favorite Chinese delivery place recently closed and we are searching for another. This is the 3rd one so far. I ordered 5 flavored chicken, garlic chicken, steamed dumplings, and vegetable egg rolls. First, the dumplings were tossed out after a couple of bites by a man who lives for dumplings. He described them as stuffed with "filler meat" and said he just wasn't comfortable eating them. I jumped right in to my 5 flavored chicken. First it was FRIED! I've never had fried 5-flavor chicken but I thought maybe it would be OK - it wasn't. The meat was so dry and hard it was a work out for my jaw! Again, it was tossed out after a few bites. I tried the egg rolls with little hope after I saw them. Two bites and gone. Finally the garlic chicken was described as "cheap tasting". "Vile" and "frozen" are the best descriptors I can give for the food we received. The search for decent Chinese delivery in Dr Phillips continues. Skip it!

I liked the food but I placed an order for pick up with an hour notice of pick up. Got here and the guy gave my food to someone else. He said he called the previous guest to bring my food back and expected me to take that. I asked for fresh new food and he asked for me to pay full price. Ridiculous. And I had to wait even longer to get my food.

I am very picky about Chinese and this place consistently impresses me with the quality of the food and also speed they are able to deliver. Won't order from anyone else.

Fairly priced, quick and friendly service, and very good food! The Orange flavor chicken I had was very good. It was also 2-3 $ cheaper than most other places. About 9 dollars. Definitely worth a try if you're in the neighborhood!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
