First, YUM. Cute shop located in a new shopping center off Orange Ave, just north of Holden. Next to Tijuana Flats. Remember that. Shop is very modern, minimal in feel, like a lot of the yogurt places are these days. I was surprised more flavors weren't offered, I think there are 8-10 flavors, but they ones we sampled were very tasty. Two were non dairy based, which is nice. Nice mix of "regular" "no sugar added" "non fat" Etc. There is a nice use of space and good flow, the back of the store has the yogurt machines, you naturally cruise through the 3 toppings bars on the way to the cash register. The cups are substantial in size, so be mindful of how much you are dispensing or you could be surprised when you go to weigh at the cash register. My friend was a fan of Cake Batter, so we tried that. Yep, tasted like yellow cake batter, not in an over the top way, pretty cool. The cookies and cream was very good, the New York cheesecake was nice, but a bit "off" for my taste. My friend raved about the Red Velvet Cake and a few other flavors, but there were not offered on our visit. The toppings were AWESOME. Really nice fresh fruit, I had blueberries and raspberries, very fresh and flavorful. If you wanted to go candy, they offer everything you could think of. They also offer some fun cereals and liquid/warm toppings like marshmallow, peanut butter, caramel, fudge, you name it. It was VERY loud and packed with kids when we visited, be aware of what Tijuana flats specials are going on and what time it is. We showed up after dinner and it was mobbed with parents with various toddlers-7year olds. :) Very entertaining through the toppings bar, though. Looking forward to trying more flavors in the future!

This is a fun place to stop and assemble a frozen yogurt creation. The self serve samplers help point you in the right flavor direction. Don't be limited by small medium or large, you make your own size and pay by the weight. We usually get them to go, but you can eat in as well.

The froyo is tasty and the toppings bar is always well stocked. But the variety doesn't seem to change much, and they only ever seem to have one dairy-free option (I think it's been mango every time we've ever gone).

My girlfriend and I live in the SODO area, and thought the only Yogurt place was YogoBerry, which we weren't fans of. After driving by this shopping center, we noticed Chilly Spoons. We walked in and were instantly in love. They had everything a FroYo place should have. One wall of just yogurt with a nice variety. And a whole 'nother wall of toppin's. Sooo many toppings. All in special dispensers to keep people from germing them up :D The prices are pretty average. Nothing special compared to other FroYo places. The staff are always perky and polite. The decor is bright and welcoming, and their is plenty of seating inside if you plan on eating in. We usually take ours to go since we live right around the corner from this location. Although I'm a big fan of this Chilly Spoons, the only thing I have negative to say is that they should either have a larger selection of yogurt, or rotate flavors so that with every visit you can try something new without being repetative. All in all, a place I know we'll be visiting again and again to fulfill our sweet tooth.

My friends from church and their mom invited me here two weeks ago. It was where we went for dessert after Tijuana Flats. At first, I didn't know it was yogurt. I thought it was regular ice cream. It tastes just like ice cream! And, the toppings they have are extensive! You have your choice of real strawberries, kiwis, bananas and more. And, if you won't to top your yogurt with candy, you've got your choice of gummy worms, jelly beans, Tootsie Rolls, Butterfingers, Reese Cups, and much, much more! Give 'em a try! You won't be sorry!

Yogurt was good. Good selection of toppings. Clean.

I made Mint Girl Scout Cookie yogurt! 80% Irish Mint + 30% Classic Chocolate + Oreo Cookie crumbles. What a treat! Self serve, $0.42/ounce, ~8 flavors that change about every 6 weeks. Enough toppings to satiate the average bloke. Friendly counter girls. The spoons are actually annoying. They're too small for an adult mouth. I'll definitely return.

Personally, I prefer hard ice cream to tart yogurt, but Chilly Spoons is pretty great. Unlike most of their competitors, their prices are very reasonable. Also, they have a good selection of yogurt flavors, and a huge number of toppings. The staff was friendly and helpful. I went after 8pm on a Friday night, and the place was hopping with high school kids. You might keep that in mind when you decide what time to visit. I wonder what the crowd is like earlier in the evening?

This place is one of my favorite self serve frozen yogurt places! It's got delicious creamy frozen yogurt in lots of yummy flavors like the classics chocolate and vanilla as well as cheesecake, cookies and cream, carrot cake and a couple of fruity flavors. They also have tons of toppings and sauces including peanut butter and marshmallow fluff. The place is really nice and clean. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Overall we LOVE this place!!

I think, I really just might think... I like this more than menchies. The flavors were super strong in the fro-yo. Sometimes it can be so bland, but this explored in my mouth. I tried the resses peanut butter and the dulce de lece, but went with the latter. It came off more like soft serve than fro-yo. Have you even noticed how fast menchies, mochi and pinkberry melt? Today was HOT, and that Yogurt didn't go as fast as I expected. There was a good selection of toppings, including whole pieces of candy bars. Interesting to see that. I don't think I'd come here for a original with fruit, as the fruit seemed.. older? but for sweet tooth cravings in the way of chocolatiness, and if I am already on that side of town, I'd go back. Oh, and super cheap. 5 bucks for 11 total ounces.

This lovely FroYo establishment replaced the menswear store that once inhabited this space. Chilly Spoons fills the space well with bright colors and a cheerful theme. The back of the store has the machines that offer about eight different flavors. Once you choose your flavors and dispense them into a cup you make your way down the toppings bar. They have quite the selection of toppings that vary from cereals and nuts to candies and fruits. I have visited this place on multiple occasions and always love the flavors they have. My last venture introduced me to Mango Tango, which is a tart and fruity mango flavored yogurt. I have also tried cappuccino, Dulce de leche, cake batter, thin mint, red velvet, and NY cheesecake. None have turned me away yet. Oh I even tried carrot cake...it was surprisingly good. The staff are always pleasant and courteous. If you use your Buy Local Orlando card then you get 10% off. I might have made this my number 1 froyo place in downtown...sorry Mochi.

Wow!! This place is fantastic!! You walk in, grab a bowl, and fill it up to your hearts content. There are at least 12+ different varieties to choose from and then there are the toppings!!! Soo many to choose from your head will spin. After you create your perfection concoction you take it to be weighed,... and the sticker shock is that it is WAY less than what you guessed it would be. For five people, 3 of those kids, our total was a little over 13$. Nice! We'll be back!

Usually I could say all the positive things everyone else says but what a bad experience we had yesterday. I went to our usually favorite yogurt machine and it was runny like pure milk....then the employee said they just put a new mix in and it will be ready in a few minutes....so we waited. Then another worker noticed the machine wasn't even on. And they thought that was funny. So we waited a few more minutes and it solidified and we got some and put our toppings on. One of the things that bothers me the most is all the time no apology for the inconvenience. Then we began to eat it and it melted down very fast in a few minutes to a milk like consistency again. The owner who i wanted to speak to was walking around outside on the cell phone the whole time. They have a bunch of kids working which is not a bad thing at all but they often seem to care more about chatting with friends then the customers experience. I have been to chilli spoons probably 20 times with my family and will think twice about going again unfortunately because we have really enjoyed it in the past. I really really hope they step it up as i would usually rate the place 5 star and it hurts me to post this but I do it because I really want to enjoy this place again.

So my bf and I go here literally 3 times a week... we're so addicted. Plus its a healthier desert then regular ice cream. Great selection of flavors. And the people who work there don't judge us for going there so many times, lol.

Chilly Spoons is tops in Orlando for me! They have about 10 or 12 flavors of Froyo "on tap" to choose from. They combinations are all pretty awesome though and the flavors ALL sounds good unlike other places were only like 2 will tickle my fancy. The "cold" toppings are all pretty good. There's a decent amount of candy toppings but not that many. I've seen more at other places. The candy dispensers machines are the ones that you turn the handle and you really can't control how much goes in your container without spilling the toppings on the floor and embarrassing yourself cause you feel like an idiot...haha. I just avoid those unless i like a lot of something. They do have hot chocolate and caramel though unlike other places. Overall the Froyo is pretty awesome!

Prefect treat after the other Thornton Park eateries. Variety, clean, cheap!

It is alright, but there are better places in town with tarter yogurt and better flavors. I am also not a fan of the super blue interior.

Have stopped in a couple times after dinner next door at Tijuana Flats. The froyo and toppings are good enough, but lately I don't bother going inside because the teenage employees are sitting around chatting with friends, or even hunkered down with books or a laptop. Shouldn't someone be behind the counter, ready for customers?

Chilly Spoons is one of the newer additions to the Fro-Yo movement that's sweeping across Orlando. It's in a location that has no real competitors around, but at the same time, I'm not sure it has much traffic either. Nevertheless, their flavors are decent (not the best) and their topping variety is also just okay. They actually decided to use the kind of topping dispensers that I absolutely hate. I seriously don't get the appeal of those things. Ya know, the one where you have to turn that stupid knob and hardly anything comes out at first, so you turn a little faster and all of a sudden, "bam!" a whole ton of toppings fall into your cup. Not just in your cup, but in a concentrated area in your cup. However, Chilly Spoons is not the only one that uses those ridiculous topping dispensers. So I'm not going to fault them. Maybe. The best part about Chilly Spoons, though, is their customer service. They're really friendly, so that helped to score them a star in my rating.

This fro-yo shop is excellent. The owner is in fairly frequently and all of the staff is as nice as can be. The flavors are changed out pretty regularly, with the staple flavors always staying in stock! The toppings bar is well done and has some unique items to try out. I recommend going to Tijuana Flats next door and making this your second stop to end a great night!

Awesome yogurt place. Very neat and extensive amount of topping choices. All fruits are fresh and ripe and they have new Christmas flavors to try like the peppermint :)

I live less than a mile from this cool froyo place - how could I have missed it! I have hopped happily on to the froyo bandwagon and just love getting to customize my flavors and toppings, I have no shame! Chilly Spoons is really cute, has the dispensers and plenty of toppings just as you'd expect and the spoons which come in bright, fluorescent colors are super cute! I actually like the way everything is dispensed, it helps keeps things more sanitary which keeps people from sticking their spoons or fingers in everything. I had cake batter yogurt and new york cheesecake which taste exactly like that. And I added some cookie toppings and graham crackers. Yum! I'm really glad I have another froyo option so close to me which can be a dangerous thing too....!

We pretty much stop here every time we have dinner at Tijuana Flats next door. The store is very clean, has lots of choices for toppings and their chocolate soft serve tastes better than Menchie's by far. Went in tonight and noticed they are starting to serve infused ice cream (liquid nitrogen ice cream) on Thur/Fri/Sat. The owner was in and demonstrated the technique and let us have a taste. We all thought it was yummy. Chilly Spoons is definitely a family favorite. It's great too because they have a reward program. I heard they are getting a new automated reward system soon, instead of the current punch cards. All around great local yogurt bar with fresh toppings with lots of choices.

It's bad when you walk in and the only Person working is on the phone and won't get off and tells the person to hold while they answer our question and than continue talking.

Nice selection and give free tiny samples to help make your mind up.. A bit pricy per ounce.

If you like frozen yogurt, you're going to love this place. Lots of frozen yogurt flavors, all delicious, tons of toppings and cheap prices. My personal favorite flavors are the cake batter and strawberry banana blended, topped with raspberries, cheesecake pieces, strawberries and popping bobas. Be sure to use the Yelp $1 off coupon when you check in to make the deal even sweeter (pun intended).

Pretty good flavors, everything tastes great. Tons of toppings, not normally too busy. Staff was very friendly. A bit pricier than some of the other places I have been, but if I were to complain about $5 for froyo I think that would make me a Scrooge.

Moved away from our local Menchies, and I was glad to find Chilly Spoons to fill my frozen yogurt need. They have a very nice selection of different flavors and toppings. They also have sample cups to try before you buy. I was very impressed by the toppings. I think they even had more toppings than Menchies. I also thought the price was good. Cheaper than other places I have been. The review would have been five stars, but I was a little thrown off by the employee working at the time. The place was very clean and well maintained, but the young girl working wasn't that professional. She was nice enough and greeted us when we walked in the door, but the rest of the time we were in there she sat at a table with two of her friends. They appeared to be working on homework and just gossiping like teenage girls do. I just found it a little strange that the employee wasn't greeting me from the counter, but instead from a seat with her friends.

Chilly spoon is cool! For real though, if you take the prices of Mochi (and add way more flavors) and the flavor variety of Menchies (minus the obnoxious prices) you have the awesome Chilly Spoon. It was so clean and I love all the blue, different from all the white and neon colors you see at other froyo locations. The staff was nice so that is always a plus. The flavors, there were about 12 and most of them sounded delicious. I went with the Country Vanilla and Dulce de Lece, delicious! There is a large variety of toppings too, and everything was so clean! Can't wait to go back and try more flavors!!!

  • Moki C.

What's better than frozen yogurt by the pound? Oh, nothing! Unless...you want to add about 75 toppings to said frozen yogurt? If you can eat froyo like I can eat froyo...you're going to come out a little light in your wallet, but it's fun and tasty. Check in on Yelp and get a 10% discount!!
