Happy I tried this place and found it tucked away from popular International Drive. Cairo is a great place. I love smoking hookah and this place is awesome. I went one night with some friends and it was so relaxed. Other nights it's so packed you definitely should call ahead because their DJ is pretty good too. The owner is phenomenal and he is such a hospitable person, he will recommend awesome selections and is very attentive as well as his staff were so friendly and helpful as well. We ended up with a Mya hookah both times but I believe they have Khalil Maamoon hookahs as well. Regardless, the hookah lasts a long time and they're constantly asking if you'd like them to change the coals or if there is anything you need. Such a spacious place as well and we've never really had an issue with parking. I honestly would recommend this hookah bar. I go to a lot of them in Orlando and this is in my top 3 I love!

Music was great on Saturday night the staff was welcoming and friendly and the atmosphere was cool. Hookah selection was extensive and the staff was very attentive to maintain the hookah so that we got the best experience.

This place has recently remodeled its interior and I am absolutely stunned! It's classy and modern feel made me feel like I was in an upscale hookah lounge in places like Dubai and Lebanon, unlike any other hookah lounge in the Orlando area I've been to before. And the #1 thing I look at while rating a place is how attentive and aware the owner or manager is of their business. The owner here (Saeed, I think) goes around each table and makes sure his guests are comfortable, happy with his service and adjusts to any accommodations his guests may need. Another thing is their DJ adjusts his music to his crowd so everyone enjoys it! Truly friendly environment with positive vibes from all the workers here. I would absolutely recommend this place for not only locals but tourists as well!

I was visiting Orlando and decided to give this place a try based on the Yelp reviews. I'm so glad I did! The owner is super friendly. He greeted us at the door and took care of us all night. The hookah was really good, as well as the drinks. Try the red tea! I went on a Friday and they had an Arabian DJ. The was my first experience with Arabian music but I was pleasantly surprised! The place is pretty big with plenty of seating. The decor is so cool...purple chandeliers and comfy leather couches. I definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area looking for a hookah lounge. Five stars.

I went there for a birthday party for a friend with my girlfriend. First, we ordered together, but the waiter insisted on having each one of us have minimum orders of $10. The shisha that we had ordered for the two of us already cost $20+, so this did not make sense to us. In addition to this, the service was not something to brag about. Waiters were slow to reload coals in your hookah and the service was generally very slow and underhanded. On top of all this, the music being played at the lounge was the opposite of the music you generally hear at regular hookah lounges. Very loud and obnoxious music. Did I mention loud? You could barely hear the person next to you. In my experience, a hookah lounge is supposed to be a place for chilling out and having a laid back experience. Cairo hookah was the dis-epitome of this idea.

DRIVE THERE NOW! This is by far the best lounge and hookah bar in Orlando. As an avid hookah smoker and lounger, I have not found another place to deliver the experience as finely as Cairo Orlando. I visit this lounge regularly, and every visit is a treat! Customer Service is great, Hookah is fresh and clean, and atmosphere is nice. If you are looking for a more club-like experience try Friday or Saturday night, it wont disappoint. They even have a live singer and karaoke on a few days. Definitely worth visiting, and walking distance from everything on I-drive. BTW, order the Moroccan Mint Tea - ITS AMAZING!!!

As a hookah snob I only go to hookah bars that carry starbuzz. Despite being on i-drive its a fantastic venue. Atmosphere is very casual and the music isn't too loud. Diverse crowd (outside of their Arab dancing/singing nights). Above everything is the SERVICE. Every member of staff there is pleasant, attentative and happy. They will sit and chat, they really know their wines and hookah flavors. Its a tad more expensive $23.00 for a standard starbuzz smoke but well worth it. PROS: Atmosphere, knowledgeable staff, tons of room, doesn't smell like a hookah bar CONS: on i-drive

Came in here with a group from work. We had been in town for a few days, and already had terrible luck with hookah bars near the Convention Center so we were weary to try one more. Luckily for us, this place was EXACTLY what we were looking for. The owner, Saeed, was extremely hospitable to our entire group- even offering to grab menus from the restaurant next door and placing an order for us (since they don't yet have an operating kitchen) The waitstaff was equally as hospitable and kind to us during our entire stay. The hookahs were brand new, clean and delicious. Our group, being picky hookah enthusiasts, requested coconut shell charcoal (it's all natural and much healthier than those round, gross instant lights) and they kept those coming for the entire night. Drinks were great, prices were fantastic and the ambiance was perfect. New lounge style furniture lined the walls, with some auxiliary seating around the center. The entire place was a cut above most hookah bars, and definitely the best within the convention center area. Highly recommend checking out Cairo. We'll be back, and already sent plenty more people from our conference there for a nice relaxing place to grab a drink, unwind and puff on some great hookah.

I was staying on vacation at The Point Orlando Resort (which is lovely) on vacation and decided to check this spot out the night before going back home to NYC. I came across this place on Yelp. It's in a wonderful location on International Drive, very easy to get to. The ambience is wonderful. I seated myself on a couch by the corner had a whole section basically to myself. Gaby was wonderful and prepared me a Sex On The Beach. Prices were great and the hookah was very good. I ordered a Blue Mist with Mint with the coconut charcoal. Everything was great will definitely be back when I'm around the area again on vacation. Wifi is available with password. Hookah did not burn fast and there was great music playing as well. Love it :)

We had a great time last night! This is was our first time at Cairo and our group of 8 went to check it out. It's back in a plaza, so we had to turn around a few times to find it, but if you turn in at the Buffalo Wild Wings on I-Drive it's right behind it. We got there around 930 and there were only 2 small other groups there. Some of the guys wanted to watch the end of a game, and the owner was really nice and changed the tv's over. This was the first time I've been to a Hookah Bar, so I have nothing to compare it to but it was clean and they changed the coals often. It's $23 to start and $7 to get a different flavor. On Sunday nights karaoke starts at 10 and we all had a blast! Throughout the night a couple of groups about the same size as ours came and were fun and singing too but it never got crowded. When a few of us were hungry, one of the staff told us about a great pizza place across the street and they let us bring it inside and eat. It was definitely a fun night and we will be back soon!

I LOVE this place , it's an amazing place to hang out with friends , drink some tea or liquor , dance , hooka , and just have fun . The DJ is amazing , there is always a mix of Arabian sings and music with some English hits and Spanish The service is fast and the place is great !!!!

Really relaxing place with friendly staff. It's great going where everyone knows your name. Try a mix of cocoanut with mint hookah. Go a little nuts and add some milk to the hookah for a thicker smoke.

Best place in Orlando for Hookah. They take care of the hookahs and the customers better than any hookah bar in town. Music is great here, and the seating is incredibly comfortable. Its tucked away on International Drive, but its packed with great people. The Service is 5 stars and the light appetizer menu is delicious. Prices are great, and you should be prepared to hangout longer than you originally planned.

If you enjoy hookah regularly, this is not the place for you. They do have some nice setups, if you're lucky enough to receive one. We were given a made in China hookah, with quick light coals, and mouth tips that don't fit the hose. The price of hookah was steep, 24 bucks and they charged us $2 for water bottles instead of tap water. On the bright side, they were proactive about replacing the burnt out coals. The environment was nice for an intimate group and conversation. It was unfortunately our observation that the traditional Egyptian setups were given to regulars and other middle eastern customers. It just seemed a bit strange. I have an Egyptian hookah at home, use coconut coals, and regularly smoke. It was just a disappointing experience overall.

5 stars for being consistent on several occasions. I ordered a grapefruit head with citrus mint with 2 drinks. The drinks were ok, the hookah was phenomenal. A bit pricey but where else are you going to find a comfortable atmosphere in Orlando. Best hookah in the area. Also very friendly and attent staff. Saeed the owner is always a pleasure.

Cairo...you're my favorite hookah bar. And I've been to an embarrassingly large amount of hookah lounges. It's tucked in a strip plaza on I-Drive. It's far enough back to be quiet, but you're still deep in the heart of the action. The ambiance is very comforting - ample comfortable armchairs and leather couches, beautiful Moroccan lighting, several TVs that usually have Egyptian pop music videos playing. Everything is very clean, it makes me feel like I'm at a friend's house. They have a full bar, beer and wine, but get their Turkish coffee. It's one of the best cups I've had in awhile. Their hummus is a huge portion, good for sharing. As for the hookah...their shisha is fresh and very flavorful. We like berry flavors, so I demand you try the Joker. Also Purple Haze is awesome. The guys here take their hookah very seriously - they were very attentive to the life of the coals, while not being disruptive to our conversation. The owner Sayid even popped over to check in and recognized us from our last visit in 5 months ago. And he welcomed us to come back. It is this hospitality that brings us back.

I went there for a birthday party. My first time there. The people were really friendly it was a great environment. The music was great this one guy on Thursdays sings and plays instruments. I don't speak Arabic but the music and people just made this place a lot of fun.

While spending all day at Daytona Beach,hot tub/pool at our hotel. My husband,brother in law and I wanted to smoke hookah while visiting orlando. After looking for places on yelp and coming across Cairo with amazing reviews we decided to head there and arrived at 1:30AM. Upon arrival we were informed that the place closes at 2AM. Which we agreed to and decided to stay. The place was very busy on a Thursday night it had live Arab singers which were excellent. We all decided to sit outside due to the indoor being very cold due to the air conditioning. My husband ordered grape mint hookah which is our regular at our hometown in NY. I ordered a green tea which arrived in a pot enough for 3 people. The hookah was perfect and the service was on point. Our bill for hookah was $24 with the hookah and the green tea. It was a perfect way to end the night and last day in orlando. Although it says 2AM. We ended up leaving from there at 2:45AM. Only a quick 10min drive to our hotel. When in orlando do stop by Cairo for your hookah fix. Excellent service, and very welcoming.

I was traveling from NJ and wasn't ready to call it a night so decided to chill out at a hookah bar. Great reviews brought me here. Pros: A++ service, friendly, smiling servers, can't beat it! This place is just horrible !!!! I have never been to a hookah bar so dead, tasteless and rude employees in my life. Coming from houston, we have many good places. But this place was just beyond sad. We sat there for 30mins before anyone served us, and the place was dead, like we were the only ones there on a friday night. Secondly, we as for strawberry mint, and all we got was mint, with a horrible hookah. When we ask for the check our waiter disappeared, intact we saw no one. At one point if we would have gotten up and left no one would know. By far the worst place ever, never going again. I am not sure when theses other reviewers went but it was just bad place in general.
