It's not very often that you run across a cafe that can take you back to Europe with a single bite. This shop is one of them. The food and treats are all very unique and equally delicious, and the cappuccino is the best I've had in a long time! I highly recommend it for brunch, lunch, or anytime!

Not having the great fortune of living in France with access to the boulangeries, we take this as a pleasant substitute! I think it is a bit pricey but knowing how expensive retail rent can be in Baldwin Park and how much I enjoy sitting outside their cafe with my croissant and cappuccino on Saturday mornings I will gladly contribute to keeping their doors open. Substitutions are frowned upon in French food culture. Yes this is America, but we should also respect that this is their cafe and also their decision to decline substitutions - as many other restaurants in the area choose to do. The baked chicken croissant and any of the savory crepes are my favorite. The baguettes are quite filling and we often share them.

Not bad, but nothing special. I ordered the baked chicken croissant and a hazelnut latte and my total came out to about $12.50. I was pretty shocked that the croissant was almost $8 but I just assumed it was just that good. The cashier was praising the béchamel sauce and when I asked what was in it she said milk, flour and eggs..? Honestly, that doesn't really help me identity a certain taste or flavor but I decided to get it anyway because I read on yelp that it was good. Unfortunately I was very disappointed. The meat and sauce in the croissant were so bland. The chicken was dry and lacked flavor and the sauce literally just tasted like milk, flour and eggs. At least the cashier wasn't lying to me? The actual croissant was good and flaky, but that was probably the only part of the entire thing I actually enjoyed. The coffee was a disappointment too. It was definitely way too sweet and not enough espresso. I unfortunately wouldn't go out of my way for this place.

The pricing is skewed. For Orlando, this bakery should be at least two $. It's not cheap. Could have more variety with the pastry selection. Although, the flan and crepe were both tasty. The flan was delicious - I highly recommend ordering the flan. It's not too sweet and the breading is very crispy. The outdoor patio was nice, but we had to ask for them to wipe down our table. They also brought out one entree at a time instead of all together. It was ok. I've had better though.

Located in Baldwin Park on New Broad Street, with a lovely view of Lake Baldwin from the patio or inside window seating. Nice place to stop in for a cup of coffee, breakfast or lunch. Breakfast sandwiches are tasty and priced well. The croissants are made in house, nice flavor. There is a tempting pastry case with croissants, fresh fruit tarts, dessert souffles and the like. I've enjoyed the Cafe 906 Iced Chai on my last two visits, an iced chai topped with a shot of espresso (Nespresso). The sweetness of the drink is cut down by the espresso shot, but the Chai spices still shine through. Very friendly staff and owners, the nice gal working the counter remembered my order from the week before. Plenty of air-conditioned seating, but the patio offers plenty of shade and is a great option in warm or cooler weather.

Oh how I love French food, and it's awesome that this place is so close to my home! They used to have a Cafe 906 off of Fairbanks. I was bummed they were closed. But I guess they were just relocating here to Baldwin Park. When I walked in, I was greeted by the staff there. I was browsing through the menu on the wall and the girl at the counter started giving me suggestions and explained certain things as well. I ended getting a croque monsieur, which is basically a two slices of bread covered in swiss cheese, with ham in it, and some sort of sauce that I don't know but it's delicious. Clean place, cute chairs. Love it. Can't wait to go back!

It is nice to have a new restaurant in Baldwin! I'm happy to see them slowly expanding their menu for more variety. The prices are a little high in my opinion, $7 for a croissant sandwich at breakfast is pricey. The owner is really nice, the waitresses professionalism/manners are hit or miss. Some have been wonderful but last weekend one brought us the wrong order and accused us of ordering wrong rather than taking ownership. Definitely worth trying because the food is good!

I LOVE this place! Pretty authentic and absolutely delicious French cuisine, and perfect for a nice lunch brunch or breakfast outside. I had an egg and cheese sandwich on a croissant, so good! My favorite part was that I got to order in French! I would definitely go again.

We came here for the almond croissant but couldn't help but order more, including the chocolate eclair and the Croque Monsieur and the quiche and the fruit tart... And WOW! I am so impressed and beyond satisfied. We have been looking for a breakfast place to go and become regulars where they know our names and more importantly our order. This is our new place! I highly recommend this adorable cafe and had it not been too hot we would have indulged in the crepe stand outside!!!!

Are you listening Orlando? Because I have a secret to tell you. Are you ready?!? Cafe 906 has THE best almond croissant in Orlando. Eeeeeee!!!!!! Are you excited? No? Well, you should be! I went here to have a chit chat session with some family members on a really beautiful sunday afternoon. I walked in and ordered a bunch of items that I thought everyone would like. Beverage menu is on the right while everything else is listed on the left. After placing my order, I asked the owner if we could sit outside since we noticed all the tables were taken. He told me all the outside tables were open to everyone and that we would be served even if we sat a little further away from their storefront, awesome! As we sat down, our coffees and desserts were served. I loved my iced coffee as it had the perfect balance of taste and acidity!Others in my party enjoyed their hot chocolate and cappuccinos. I wanted my table to try a variety of things so I split a lemon tart, blueberry tart, & apple pocket. The desserts were lovely since they weren't overwhelmingly sweet, which I really appreciate. Sidenote, where do they get their blueberries because they were freakishly HUGE! Midway during our conversation, I noticed both my mother and bf's mother didn't receive their almond croissants. Turns out the bakery didn't have any at the moment so they were baking a fresh batch. Get out of here!!! So, the piping hot almond croissants were a welcomed addition to our table once served! What makes the almond croissants special here is the simple addition of almond paste and slivers on top of the croissant. Delicious! In the end, we asked for a to go box to pack all our leftovers. I appreciated how tin foil was placed in the bottom of the paper to-go box to prevent grease stains. It's the little things! Oh, the outside seating is dog friendly so bring your fur baby!

5 stars for the almond croissant alone. It was flakey, moist, flavorful and all around amazing. I've been craving this croissant ever since I got it the first time.

What a lovely experience! I stopped by for a quick bite Btwn showings & listing appointments in Baldwin Park & discovered this gem! I was greeted promptly, the owner was friendly and helpful in suggesting a few items off the menu. It was pouring outside so after a delicious Crepe Lyon w/ béchamel sauce to die for I ordered a Nespresso cappacinno! Yum! I'll be back to try the tempting baked goods soon!!!!

If you haven't tried this place yet, you are missing out! This place is amazing!! Their bacon egg and cheese croissants are perfect for a weekend brunch! I also tried the chocolate soufflé which was to die for!!! The staff is super friendly and helpful and the food has always come out very quickly. I'm really happy to have this addition to Baldwin Park!

Though I only stopped in for a cup of coffee, this little French bistro is chock full out interesting menu items. Next time I am going for a walk in Baldwin Park, I will definitely stop in for a bite to eat.

This is a nice, quaint little place in Baldwin Park, near the lake. I have been to this restaurant twice now and I have to say, I like it. The service is very good, always very helpful and pleasant; I ordered one of their dark chocolate gluten-free small cakes one time and was given 2 for the price of one since the gentleman that took my order said they came out small that particular day. I love the chocolate gluten-free mini cakes (I can't remember their proper name); very light & fluffy and not overly sweet. These are perfect with a cup of tea. I also tried one of their quiches which had spinach and goat cheese. The texture of the quiche was exquisite, I have to say. Incredibly light & fluffy and I can't figure out how they got it that light. The flavor was only so-so; not a bad flavor at all but I would've liked it to have more of the goat cheese flavor since I love goat cheese. And I understand that's a strong flavor so they may have chosen to go the safe route so that all people would like it. But when I want something with goat cheese, I want it to scream goat cheese! But that's just me. I will absolutely be back and highly recommend them to you. I am glad that I work only a few blocks away from Cafe 906, over on Lake Baldwin Lane, and look forward to taking a walk during my breaks when the weather is much cooler.

Came in here for a quick brunch. I love that each mimosa you order is $1 less than the first! Their food is so delicious! I had the nutella crepe and my friend had one of their savory crepes. Their menu has a wide variety for a breakfast/lunch restaurant and it is so cutely decorated! The service was amazing as well. Well done Café 906 :)

French comfort food at its best. I like to try something new every time I come in but have a bad habit of always choosing my favorites. I was ecstatic when I found out they were moving to Baldwin Park a year after closing down their location at Fairbanks. I always end up having a sweet tooth when I come here for breakfast. My favorites are the chocolate and almond croissants with a café au lait. If you take the croissants home, make sure you toast them just a little bit to give them that nice flaky texture on the outside! For lunch, I can never go wrong with a croque-monsieur or a croque-madame (reviewer Cicely S. has obviously never had one before, because these are very authentique... why on earth would you ever want to use provolone cheese?! Blech!). The béchamel sauce is delicious! I really like the addition of the self-serve soda station. Great idea. Make sure to try their soup of the day! Bon appétit!

I'm so glad Cafe 906 opened up in Baldwin Park. My husband and I went here one day for a brunch and we are glad we did. We weren't that hungry so We split a baguette sandwich. It was delicious, bread, meat and cheese. Something funny happened. I asked for mayonnaise, because hey I'm American. The french owner initially refused me and said this bread doesn't need it because it's a good bread. I slunk back to my table. It annoyed me but as I ate the sandwich I could see he was right. I know he would have given me a packet if I had insisted. I'm okay with that experience but that level of control from the owner might be a turn off to some people - for me it was okay and I'm glad I listened to him. Check it out!!

Went this morning to get a croque madame-- the line was long. the people in front of me keep getting told they were out of stuff. As for my croque madame, I hated it. the counter attendant, who I think is the proprietor, would not let me substitute provolone for swiss cheese, and I don't like swiss cheese, but I thought I'd give it a try since he was so adamant. Well guess what, it was gross. the ham was not anything special, it was served on white bread, COVERED in swiss cheese, the egg, which was supposed to be fried, was barely over easy. I can't understand why they wouldn't use a higher quality bread. Yuk. My husband, who does like swiss cheese, also didn't like it. Maybe this place is good for pastries, I mean they had a long line, so I guess some people like it. But I was very disappointed.

I moved to Baldwin recently and had been told by other residents to check out this new cafe. After trying it this morning I can say that it will become a regular spot for me. My friend and I checked it out I had a savory item called something madame and it was a delicious breakfast. My friend got a sandwich and really enjoyed the nice crunch the crust on the bread. We also tried the salted butter and sugar crepe... I am having to keep myself from running back downstairs and grabbing another one of those. It was the perfect amount of sweet and really let the flavor of the crepe come through. If you are in the area I definitely recommend giving this place a try.

The family who owns this shop is very friendly and has a big focus on having high quality food and service. The food is very affordable and the desserts are to die for. Every Tuesday morning they have an interesting french speaking session that is a great opportunity for people who want to improve their french.

First time here and will definitely come back. The almond croissant is OUT OF THIS WORLD!! I love almond croissants but I found myself stealing more bites from my fiancé lol. The tuna salad baguette was very good and very filling. The Nutella crepe was ok... Wish it had more filling but otherwise it wasn't bad. Did I mention the almond croissant? Get it!!! Get two!!! If ur going van u pick one up for me??? Lol

Family owned cafe. Very good, casual french food. Sandwiches were large. Home made soup and quiche excellent. Service was very quick during a mid week lunch. Highly recommended and we'll come back.

I am surprise at the high rating. This place is quite expensive for the amount and quality of the restaurant. Being from California and have visited Paris, I am used to high price but this is way too high for Orlando and the authenticity of the food. Also, the pastries and food options are very limited. Lastly, the atmosphere and ambiance doesn't feel anything Parisian like.

They had run out of almond croissants but the owner made one specifically for me. Oozing with butter and marzipan. Felt as though I was walking down a local street in Paris stuffing myself with a croissant. Give them some time to get adjusted. It is an awsome patisserie!

Recently opened, but with solid experience behind the chef/owners this small cafe is a welcome addition to Lake Baldwin village. Simple decor, order at the counter for relax at one of the tables inside or outdoors. Excellent croissants (would love to be able to buy their baguettes, if they are house-made) - and I've had croissants from some of the best across the country and these are right up there! Enjoyed Croque Monsieur with the classic preparation, accompanied by a small salad. Small quiche also delicious - just enough for a light lunch or afternoon snack. Choice of pastries, including a delish chocolate lava cake. The Napoleon just so-so... I would love to see more soup options, but hopefully that will come once they get settled into their new place. Thoughts - background music would add charm, perhaps some plants and artwork as well. As we live in BP, Cafe 906 is on our list to visit each week!

Loved it. Had a tuna croissant sandwich. The croissant was awesome and fresh, side salad was adequate and tasty. Then I had the chocolate croissant, off the charts fresh and good. Will definitely come back. Don't be fooled by the very unassuming place, great food today. Must try for all Baldwin folks. .

Nice new breakfast/lunch bistro in Baldwin Park. Great individual sized Quiche of the day served with a small salad. This lite lunch deserved an almond croissant graciously heated up for dessert. Loved it. Please try them. Everyone was very nice and helpful. We will be back soon.

Great place! The pastries are delicious as well as the savories. Most recently I had their concord sandwich, which ham, swiss and tomato on baguette, and I have to say the baguette they used was some of the best bread around! Great crackly crust and soft and warm inside. Fantastic. As well as the food being great, the place owned by such a nice family. They are very warm and welcoming, perfect for our neighborhood.

Nice little cafe, great for a quick breakfast or lunch. I really enjoy their Croque Madame and they make nice crepes on weekends. Espresso drinks are well made, I suggest the cappuccino. They also have a nice selection of pastries and tasty soufflés (try the Nutella or peanut butter) that are worth trying. Everything is very reasonably price and service is quick and pleasant.

I was rather disappointed that a cafe would offer ice tea from a coca cola dispenser and not brew it fresh. The meals came out at different times with my father's meal coming out after I finished eating mine already. The food quality itself was fresh and tasty.

The good: Was nice to be able to sit outside by the lake. Staff was attentive. The croissants were delicious. The bad: The crepe texture was too heavy, and the crepe itself was too light on the filling. The goat cheese and spinach quiche was terrible, though the side salad was nice. Overall: Go for the croissants and alfresco lakeside atmosphere, skip the rest.
