Diabetics at Whataburger

Diabetics need to be a bit cautious while dining at Whataburger. Almost every burger is rich in sodium content and it is highly recommended to keep your burger cravings in control while dining at Whataburger. However, you can always satisfy your cravings for a burger by choosing Whataburger Jr. or other non-burger items from the menu.

A diabetic should resist from ordering any extra meat-based burger such as Double Meat Whataburger or Triple Meat Whataburger to limit the sodium intake and calories. Most burgers except the Whataburger Jr. are high in sodium and hence should be avoided.

High Cholesterol at Whataburger

Calorie intake is the main concern for people with high cholesterol while dining at a fast-food restaurant like Whataburger. Well, you can always try the Lighter & Smaller options from the menu to cut down your fat intake. Opting for grilled sandwich or burgers are preferred compared to double meat or triple meat cheesy burgers which contain high cholesterol.

Foods to Avoid at Whataburger for High Cholesterol

Cut down on your meat intake to control your high cholesterol. You must skip Double Meat Whataburger and Triple Meat Whataburger at all costs. You should also avoid Avocado Bacon Burger and Monterey Melt as both these burgers contain a high amount of fat. Sweat & Spicy Bacon Burger will add extra 1080 calories in your diet so skip that as well. Whatacatch Dinner may sound tempting but the famous fish sandwich is also full of calories and unhealthy fat. Lastly, avoid French Fries and Onion Rings at Whataburger if you are already ordering a burger or any other heavy meal.

Its BK, what do you expect. Service is kind of slow and not very clean tables. Emergency only

I applaud the effort of Burger King to hire inexperienced workers needing a job...but they need to teach them to actually work. Used a buy one get one free whopper coupon, the cashier messed up the order and got me to pay about $3 more then I should have. Took about 15 minutes for the food to come out. The vending machine had nothing, only low calorie options. Every other drink other than powerade was out. Also no ice. Just awful.

This place is always out of something. I'm currently sitting in the drive thru twenty minutes behind three cars. This is the worst run Burger King I've ever been to.

This place has got to be the worst on Avalon. I have been living here 5 years & have seen multiple staff changes but yet the horrible slow service is still there. If they have what you want & that's a big if, then they won't have cups, condiments or it takes 30 minutes at the drive through. Last few times I was there I felt bad for the struggling supervisor or manager who was trying his best but coming up short no matter how hard he worked. They need a revamp with new management. & better training. As bad as they are I would like to see them make it.

Ok. Where do I start. This location is a hit or miss. The breakfast crew seems to be a little better than the lunch/dinner crew. I am literally writing this review as a sit in the drive-thru line which tells you that I've been waiting for a while. I would pull out of line but I can't since there is no where to run...lol Placed my order probably 10 minutes ago and there are 2 cars in front of me and several behind me. Let me correct that. There were several cars behind me. Apparently they pulled out of line. I could literally run out of gas sitting here. They obviously have an issue with getting orders prepared in a timely fashion. Just got to the window and there are 4 people working the drive thru window one of which appears to be a manager. I'm thinking maybe a couple of them need to get back on the grill and help out. Just sayin' Just got my order and my fries are pretty hot which is a good thing. Burger seems to be ok as well. I have to say that I do prefer Burger Kings burgers over McDonalds but it's really not worth the wait. Next time I will just stay home and cook.

Still can't get orders right the first time. Besides being slow they don't read the ticket in the kitchen. Fries undercooked again. If not for a free sandwich coupon I wouldn't be here. Sucks that they are closest and only option for us in this area. Now I know why the McDonald's on the other corner always has a line inside and out.

I have given up on this place. I have had to wait a long time for a cold burger one too many times.

Terrible service. I waited 30 minutes in the drive thru (I was the only car there) for a hamburger and a small order of fries. Ridiculous. Came back a second time to give the place a chance to redeem itself and got COLD fries. Not room temp. COLD. How does that happen in Florida? Did they leave the fries in the fridge before giving it to me or something? Will never come back to this place again.

I only go here because it's close and I'm not a fan of McDs. And that's only when I'm desperate for something that resembles food. I've been here a handful of times. The drive thru is usually pretty slow. If you go in, they're likely to mess up your order. My friend goes here regularly and is always complaining about a messed up order. Anything fried (e.g., the fries, chicken nuggets, or chicken fries) tastes a little stale like it's been sitting under the warmer a little too long. I pass here daily and don't see a whole lot of cars ever, so I guess a lot of the fried food sits a while. But in the end, it is just Burger King....not expecting a fine dining experience with amazing service and food.

What is it about the fast food restaurants in this little strip of Avalon Park Blvd that the service tends to be so flaky? I don't even bother going through the drive-through anymore as they almost always find a way to mess up my order. Instead, I go inside even if I'm getting take out. The inside is never busy - even at lunch time. In fact, it's usually pretty dead. You'd think that the employees would be happy to have a customer and rush to help you. Instead, you'll stand around for a minute or so before someone notices you and decides to serve you. Hope that your order is right, or that they have whatever condiments/seasonings stocked properly in the self-serve area. Today, the ketchup dispenser was broken/empty and there were no salt packets. I went back up to the counter and waited for someone to help me. The cashier who had taken my order was standing in the back fiddling with his phone. A cook was busy making fries - but turned and looked at me repeatedly - never saying anything to anyone - much less helping me. The drive-through cashier was helping someone on her headset and rushing past me - but looking at me and ignoring me. Eventually, she finished with her own order and helped me. Despite spotty service, the food tends to be fresh as they seem to usually have to make it on the spot. The restaurant is kept clean, though as I mentioned they could do a better job of keeping things stocked.

Waited in line forever. They put sausage instead of bacon -___- big difference and not worth the time I wasted to wake up early for breakfast. Decided to try again a few days later -___- quickly found out that would be my last time since I, again, waited forever, and the bacon looked to be burnt black, yet was literally cold.

If this was the last restaurant in the world, I would starve. I wouldn't give these people a penny of my hard earned money even if I was a philanthropic millionaire. I've lived in Avalon since 2007 and have given this place approx. 4 chances to prove me wrong. On each occasion I've come away wishing I could erect a big sign in front of this location that says, don't waste your time, keep driving. On each occasion, I get food that is either not made correctly and/or I'm missing items. So what's the straw that broke the camel's back? Upon being superbly disappointed on 3 previous occasions during a 4 year span (they must disappoint a lot, being they're 100% on 3 occasions in 4 years), I had gone through the drive through to get lunch for my family. I ordered, having to repeat myself multiple times as usual, and proceeded towards the window. Upon waiting forever, as usual, I finally came to the window. I had forgotten to order my 1 y.o. daughter's kids cheeseburger (something I would imagine would take them 20 seconds to make/pull from the hot plate). I asked very nicely if it would be possible to add it to the order. I had the cash in my hand, which I showed her, to pay for it. I figured this would be an easy transaction. The girl's response was, "I can't do that, you're going to have to drive around again". My response to her was, "that's the most atrocious thing I've ever heard someone say to a customer", and remarked about how they didn't care about customers. She refuted what I said but her actions spoke louder than words. I drove away without any food for my daughter. If you even have the inkling of a thought that it would be even a half way decent idea to stop in here...do yourself a favor and drive across the street to Mickey D's where at least they get your stuff right MOST of the time.
