Diabetics at Whataburger

Diabetics need to be a bit cautious while dining at Whataburger. Almost every burger is rich in sodium content and it is highly recommended to keep your burger cravings in control while dining at Whataburger. However, you can always satisfy your cravings for a burger by choosing Whataburger Jr. or other non-burger items from the menu.

Foods to Avoid at Whataburger for Diabetics:

A diabetic should resist from ordering any extra meat-based burger such as Double Meat Whataburger or Triple Meat Whataburger to limit the sodium intake and calories. Most burgers except the Whataburger Jr. are high in sodium and hence should be avoided.

High Cholesterol at Whataburger

Calorie intake is the main concern for people with high cholesterol while dining at a fast-food restaurant like Whataburger. Well, you can always try the Lighter & Smaller options from the menu to cut down your fat intake. Opting for grilled sandwich or burgers are preferred compared to double meat or triple meat cheesy burgers which contain high cholesterol.

Cut down on your meat intake to control your high cholesterol. You must skip Double Meat Whataburger and Triple Meat Whataburger at all costs. This is Burger King, the food is what it is....I would've preferred the food to be more than warn, closer to hot, but maybe breakfast rush was the culprit. It also doesn't sit well with me that the apple pies are just stacked on the counter at room temperature rather than in back and warmed to order. I was caught off guard at how nice and friendly the staff was. Overall my experience was neutral.

I never eat fast food... seriously!! In fact, I can't remember the last time I went to a Burger King before this visit. I'm not lying when I say it was probably 15 or more years! But, interestingly, there aren't very many food choices in this particular terminal... so on a recent trip, I broke down and went to the BK. I got the chicken sandwich, which was as good as I remember. I mean, I knew I was getting an old standby and not a gourmet chicken sandwich--a throwback to my youth. It was what it was, and it tasted fine. I couldn't bring myself to order fries, so instead I got chicken tenders as my side (not quite as bad, right?) =) They were tasty as well. My only complain about this visit is that the service was slow. I realize it's an airport location and they have a crowd of people wanting some Whoppers. Nevertheless, the staff could definitely use a lesson on efficiency. Final thoughts: This BK offers some reliable, decent tasting fast food for when you're stuck in the airport.... just don't be in a hurry to get to your gate.

Ok, it's a Burger King. You know the menu, but here's difference. They are constantly cleaning the place. Sweeping, wiping down the table. Food is hot, fresh and timely. Good for catching your flight. They have fruit available if you want it. Will use this place again.

On July 2, 2015, at approximately 10:00 a.m., two burger king female employees of African-American decent made disparaging remarks about my looks. Tried to speak to a manager, but he or she was not present at the establishment at the time. Decided to let it go, because I had a flight to catch and didn't want to get assaulted.

The coffee tastes like it was roasted in Log Cabin Light. There may be an upside to this goofy little airport stop... but soggy sandwiches and undrinkable coffee was all I found here. More like Burger Serf.

Believe the rating and reviews This place is slow as a tortoise. The setup is poorly designed. Only the specialty sandwiches along with cheeseburgers and double cheeseburgers were in stock. Quit making them! People were waiting for whopper/whopper jrs. When done, the burger was cold. Also, prices for sandwich only were not posted. Avoid this place! Tips: -skip the wait and order at the end for quicker service -Whopper is $3.99 -Whopper jr is $2.09 -Cheeseburger is $1.79

Very clean and organized with surprisingly decent coffee although you are out if luck if you don't like half and half. The seating is very spacious and offers a nice view. Plus you can get wifi from the Delta Sky club, which is a nice plus.

My review is going to apparently be the exception is a sea of negative reviews... :) This place was crazy busy... line was very long, but was moving at a decent pace. The person that took my order was incredibly friendly... off to a good start. The food took awhile to come out, but considering how busy the place was, this didn't really bother me so much. There were at least 15 people waiting in front of me for their food, so I knew it wasn't going to be super quick. However, when I finally did get my food, it wasn't bad at all. Burger was piping hot (and delicious I might add), and the fries were fresh out of the fryer.. crisp and hot. Overall, not too bad at all.. other than the wait (which I half-expected), it was actually decent.

There are two Burger Kings in this airport. Paul H. and I happened to go to the HORRIBLE one. The people working here are friendly but their system sucks. Instead of the traditional ordering style, they have the grab n go system implemented. The grab n go system only works when every option is available. They were only making burgers no one wanted. Please don't go here. You're honestly better off eating elsewhere or going to a different terminal to get BK because you're not going to "have it your way here". The sandwiches are pre-sauced and dressed so you really don't have a choice if you hate onions. Run. Don't walk away from here.

Setup a little differently. Food is setup cafeteria style...grab and go. Not sure I like this since you don't know how long your food had been sitting there. At least at a regular chain your food is almost made to order.

Clean. No muss. No fuss. Cashiers were courteous. Food came out quickly and was good. Burger was tasty and fries were fresh out of the fryer. Surprisingly, the food presentation was *very* good. Almost advertising photography good. BTW, this wasn't the cafeteria-style one that other reviews talk about. This was the standard airport BK in the food court in Airside 1.

Don't stop here. The food is sitting out front for anyone to handle. If you want something that they don't already have pre-made it will take forever. And the staff... they couldn't care less. Their manager kicked my bag over and didn't even stop to apologize.

So holly slow motion batman am I stuck in a groundhogs loop? BK Constancy with a delivery speed of Slowskys! Really pathetic to see it all as the kitchen staff and manager are all in plain site... Should have gone to the Italian place next door.. WTF its an airport right? Don't go to BK at Delta gate in Orlando....

Ate here with my son on the way home from Disney. He warned me not to do it, but I didn't listen. The food poisoning hit about 2 hours into the flight home and I spent an hour at the airport in Chicago vomiting. Had to drive home with a plastic bag on my lap and was on the couch for 24 hours. The worst part is that I wrote a letter to Burger King to let them know and they never even had the courtesy to apologize. Oh, and I thought my son was kidding when he said there was a bug in his tater tot....my guess is he was right.
