Saw that Boteco had a deal on Groupon and read the reviews as being positive, I purchased the voucher months ago. Well, the voucher expired, however I still had the value that was originally purchased (37.50). My wife and I ordered the chicken croquettes appetizers which were overly deep fried and the chicken paste was dry. For our dinner I ordered the Boteco Steak & Eggs (should be good since it has their name on it right?). The steak was paper thin and tough almost like jerky. What saved it was the eggs which I had to eat with the steak. I also ordered a strawberry shake for my daughter. It came out in a narrow tall glass. I was afraid that it would tip over since my girl was only 2 yrs old. The waitress brought me a small plastic cup for kids. To my surprise all the shake fit inside this little kids cup. (Then shock at how much I paid for this little cup of sugar coated strawberry shake. I wanted to share my experience on yelp and to try to understand why others were giving them such high marks. I noticed a 10% off coupon for "check in" at yelp, so I applied the link. When the bill came, I showed the waitress the yelp coupon and gave her my expired Groupon. The person in charge at the time was the bar tender because the owners trust him with the money (heh not sure why he disclosed that to me). The bar tender said that since I had a groupon I could not apply the 10% discount from yelp. I told him if I were to use the groupon pre-expiration and gotten the "deal" then I would understand, however I was using my value of the voucher which I paid for already. So he had to call the owner and the owner okay it. As he was running the bill again, he murmured that I wasn't suppose to have gotten 2 offers.. I was thinking, first your food sucks. Two, you still don't understand that my Groupon expired and so I didn't get a deal! (just face value) Anyhow, compared to the other brazilian restaurants that I've been where there was a lot of flavor and their steaks were juicy, I would not recommend this place. You can try it, but don't say I didn't warn you! Pro: The only thing that was good was the lady waitress, she was nice (I tip her well, since it was her fault the food and the bar tender didn't get it). The restaurant interior looks okay, they have outside seating.

I like Boteco. They have a good food and good service. My kids love the bread chicken with fries. I love the Picanha with fries. Their appetizers are also good, love the cheese breads and chicken croquettes. Great location too.

Good food, comfortable place, yummy Brazilian food and great service. Better than other all you can buffets as you order "a la carte". Try the appetizers. Yuka cake was delicious.

I'm a little picky about brazilian restaurants. As being born in Brazil but not owning a brazilian soul, I'm just don't like what brazilians call "comida caseira", or "home-made food", which usually means non creative, lazy, tasteless food. Boteco Restaurant is just the opposite, offering a large variety of brazilian bar/pub food. I had the "escondidinho de camarão" that is made with mashed yucca with shrimp and cheese. It was amazing. I had a caipirinha made with Vodka that was also incredibly good.

Service, food, and drinks were all excellent. The Ribeye was as good as I've ever had, and the rum drink was great. The flaming chorizo was a great way to get the meal started, and even the cheesy bread was a cut above what I've had before. This is just an excellent all around restaurant. I highly recommend it.

My girlfriend and I tried out this restaurant because she bought a Groupon deal for it. We ordered the fried chicken appetizer, rib eye steak w/ fried yucca and rice and beans, and the Oswaldo Aranha Fillet. We also ordered two lime caipirinhas. The caipirinhas were amazingly good! They could get deadly with how drinkable they were. The fried chicken was perfectly cooked and delicious and was even better when eaten with the fried garlic. I ordered my rib eye medium rare and it was perfectly cooked. The fried yuca was airy and crispy. The rice and beans were pretty standard but when mixed with the egg farofa it made it into an delicious combination. Our waiter was very friendly and helped explain different things on the menu. We had never tried farofa before and he convinced my girlfriend to try it out. Also he was a judo/jiu jitsu fighter so props to him for that. All in all it was a great experience. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anybody who is looking for authentic and delicious Brazillian food!

Just note: I do not give 5 stars lightly! Boteco is not only a great spot for the local Brazilian community, but it doesn't alienate non-Brazilian clientele - and I really appreciate that! My bf is Brazilian and often times when we go to Brazilian restaurants the waitstaff just talk to him at 100 miles a minute in Portuguese, often leaving me feeling like a piece of furniture in the corner. I understand a lot, I am not fluent, but either way as a paying customer I would like to be acknowledged. So with that being said I love Boteco. I bought the fantastic deal that they have currently on Groupon and decided to give it a go as a surprise for the bf. We were seated straight away, the waiter was gracious and attentive. He spoke in Portuguese and English, asking my if I liked my meal. We started out with the mashed yucca and shredded beef topped with melted cheese (AKA Escondihno de carne seca) OMG it was delish - very filling, very cheesy and the meat was melt in your mouth perfect! We both ordered picanha (brazilian steak) I didn't see it on the menu, but I suppose my bf requested it (oh the special treatment of a native! haha!). The filet mignon was what I was going to order which undoubtedly would have been tasty too! My sides were traditional black beans and rice and I added some plantains. I didn't care much for the plantains, they were drier than what I'm normally used to (Spanish style) but they were tasty nevertheless. To top it all off I had the house Caipirinha (tradiational Brazilian drink made with sugarcane liquor and lime) - hands down authentic (according to my man) and delicioso! So fresh, it woke up my taste-buds and topped off the night! Side note: Currently get 10% off your bill when you check in on Yelp!

3 or 4 stars? 3 or 4? I'll stick with 4, based on food quality! Food was very good, unique appetizers (yuca or cassava with beef and cheese....) it was fresh and steaming hot and oh so yummy. I had a filet mignon and my date had a strip steak. Both perfectly seasoned, tender, and awesome. The waitress indicated they had been open about a year. The decor was modern, but there did not seem to be any dress code. A lot of locals hanging around, seems like a neighborhood place, a nice surprise on International. The rest rooms were clean and well maintained, as well. Definitely would go again if I am in the area!

This was my first time after a year away and I was very disappointed. The service was good but the food quality was awful. The shrimp empanadas only had green peas!!! I had never seen anything like that.

Visited 1/2/2015: Good ribeye steak, cooked perfectly. I enjoyed the fried plantains. My wife was surprised by the beef stroganoff on the menu--Brazilian? It was very good. The manager was very accommodating for our party of 11. Only complaint was that their online reservation system was down so we didn't know whether our reservation had been made/accepted until we had to call. Nice casual atmosphere for our reunion with old friends and our families. Easy location and plenty of parking available. We all agreed that we'd return here on our next visit to Orlando.

I tried this out with a group of ladies from my Portuguese class and we were all impressed with the delicious food and attentive service. The caipirinhas were great and the menu offered a variety of Brazilian foods representative of a few of the regional differences of Brazil. The pricing is modest and the meals come in decent sized portions. I highly recommend Boteco!

Excellent Service and Food! My ribeye steak was crisp and juicy. I only get that from the high end steak houses, but here the price was very affordable. The place was very nice and clean, too. Definitely come here again on my next visit to Orlando.

We found this small Brazilian restaurant thanks to my fellow yelpers. This is located in one of the small strip malls on I-Drive near the Outlets. They have a full bar and it's nicely decorated. What you will find here is traditional Brazilian cuisine. They have different cuts of meat but not Rodizio style like Fogo and Texas down the street. They have a fairly large menu and many inviting appetizer options. The service was fast and our waitress was very nice and fast despite it being rather full. We will definitely be back.

Came across this place while driving on Idrive. It was a nice day outside and they had outside seating so we decided to give it a go. The place offers traditional brazilian Dishes, so if you're looking for some honest kinda of brazilian home cooking this place is good for that. All the food was pretty tasty and fresh. I recommend the Pateles and brazilian sausage and maybe the yuca Gratin. Also the chicken strogonoff was pretty tasty. We were the only ones in the restaurant at the time some the food came fairly quick. The service was good and prices are so so, but they do have specials.

Fellow Yelpers, The literal translation for the word Boteco in English is pub, bar, stall, dive, or even more crudely; hole in the wall. This name alone is a fascinating pick for this establishment. In Brazil, eating at the aforementioned places is common among the populace, for only at these 'botecos' can one truly get a quick bite to eat, known as 'petiscos' or appetizers, that range from a wide variety and selection of the most delicious staples of the Brazilian cuisine. Therefore, it's very refreshing to know that someone decided to bundle that entire cultural grub package and ship it all the way to Orlando. The main difference being that the establishment itself is a clean, modernly decorated, trendy restaurant instead of precisely what its name implies, a hole in the wall. It has become an instant hit with the local Brazilian community, specifically its younger crowd. The place has enough outdoor seating to make it a great hang out spot for a few choice drinks and beer straight from Brazil. The staff is all Brazilian, but they also speak fluent English. The place is nicely set up where you do not get a feeling of being crowded and sitting on top of others. The restaurant offers a great variety of not only "petiscos" that are popular in Brazil, but also lunch and dinner entrées. The service was fantastic, our server was a sweetheart. We had a big party with us, and there was plenty of food to go around as the portions were very generous. The presentation was nice and the prices were extremely reasonable for the quality of the food being served. We started off with some 'bolinhos de bacalhau' (see my photo), 'frango a passarinho' (see my phtoto), and 'aipim frito' (see my photo). All three 'petiscos' were delicious. The cod fish cakes were soft and chewy with a semi crunchy breaded shell; the small chicken wings were just at the right mix of dry and moist with a rich taste, and the fried yucca was, well, crunchy and very tasty. For my main entrée I ordered the 'bife a cavalo' (see my photo) which can be translated literally to 'Steak by the horse' or something along these lines. Not to be confused with horse meat, this essentially is a dish where eggs are draped above a skirt steak with caramelized onions much like a saddle straddles a horse. This is the best verbal / written description I could formulate to properly describe this delicious dish. The steak and eggs were complemented by the stereotypical brazilian rice and beans with steak fries and 'farofa', a type of flour served with some dishes in Brazil. The restaurant also has a nice bar area (see my photo) that looks like a hybrid of Ocean Prime, Luma, and any neon back lit bar downtown. The exception being that it is extremely low key in comparison. Therefore, if you just want to come here to hang out and have a couple of drinks, it can be just that place for you. At times there will be a local brazilian artist performing popular classic songs from the motherland, which can be nice and relaxing. Overall, the rating says it all: Go try this place out! Valeu galera!

Came on the recommendations of other yelpers. Service was slow. The croquettes were really salty. I got the shrimp yucca gratin that came with only 4 tiny shrimps. My husband's NY sirloin strip came fatty, pounded flat, and very dry. Vegetables were overdone. And it was all overpriced for what we got.

    (2)
  • Linh Elaine T.

I ordered the sirloin steak along side with fried yucas & rice & beans. the sides were tasty especially the fried yucas but my steak was NOT what I had requested (medium well). My steak came out tough. So i stopped eating & waited for our waitress to come to the table. never did until I was sick of sitting around and just ate the damn steak bc um, hello, I was starving! & guess what? The waitress finally got back to us after 95% of my steak was done asking how was everything. wtf. The place wasn't busy AT ALL. So because I didn't want to cause a scene and my husband and I drove across town to eat here due to the "good" reviews, I inhaled the fried yucas, rice & beans. I managed to finish the tough steak. overall, service sucked. food was a 7 out of 10. I'm nice enough to rate this place 3 stars because my husband was happy with his steak.

My boyfriend and I are on vacation and in an interest of saving money we decided to buy a Groupon to this place. I was a little nervous when I walked in as it was empty but the food was amazing. We both ordered New York Strip steak and it was cooked perfectly. The Marsala mushrooms and onions is a must add. You didn't need any steak sauce! If I had any complaints it was that it was too much food and we couldn't take the leftovers with us because we are out of town!

The food is not bad but not great either. However, the server is friendly but forgetful. Omg, I don't know how many time I have to Repeat my order. The whole entire time I have to ask for it over and over again. The experience was annoying.

International Drive has a few delights, and Boteco is surely among them. This Brazilian restaurant is in a very touristy strip mall on International Drive just off Oak Ridge Road and across from Festival Bay. It opened in June 2012. The decor adopts a less-is-more attitude. It's airy with mostly tables and a few booths on one side, with just a few colorful abstract prints along the dark-wood walls. A well-appointed full bar is along one end of the restaurant. Quiet samba music is played. There is outdoor seating, but the view isn't much to behold. My entree was a Shrimp Stroganoff (Strogonoff de Camarao), shrimp sautéed in a wonderful sauce with peas and served with white rice. At first taste, I wanted to ask for the recipe. I chose a side of Fried Yucca. My dining partner's choice was a Filet Mignon ordered rare and his two sides were sweet plantains and farofa, a toasted flour made of yucca, in vinaigrette. His verdict on the filet was that it was "superb." For dessert I chose a Passion Fruit Mousse accompanied with espresso. Take note: a gratuity is included on the bill. I'm making a new list and it will certainly include Boteca. It will be called "You Don't Know Jack," for those who believe that Orlando doesn't have good dining options. Skip the nearby Texas de Brazil chain and give this indie a try instead. De nada.

Went there last night. Our group of four had two orders of pao de quiejo, with six per basket, we needed two orders. The coating was a bit different from what I had seen in other Brazilian places, more of a deep fried outside, but tasty nonetheless. We had the beef with yuca purree and the grilled beef, both of which were tasty. One of my dining companions loved the cairapinhas. Service was attentive. If you are looking for a more budget priced option for Brazilian food while visiting the Universal area, this is a good choice.

We bought a groupon for Boteco restaurant. The atmosphere: The place itself is not special. Located in a strip mall in the middle of tourist-overran souvenir stores. Our waiter, a native brazilian, was great. He explained all the dishes and ingredients well and made great suggestions. Food: The house wine was great (Casa Pereli (Brazilian Cabernet - not sure about the spelling here). Our appetizer - Yuca Gratin, was not bad. I would not order it again though. Mashed yuca with shredded beef topped with delicious melted cheese on top. For the main course my wife ordered Beef Stroganoff, and I got Oswaldo Aranga Filet. My wife was mentioned that the food was not hot, barely warm even; but the quality of the beef was great. my filet mignon was cooked perfectly (med rare). Topped with delicious fried garlic. The sides were unimpressive. stake potatoes were average, and i was not a fan of egg farofa at all. I would suggest asking for a side of their white mild and also a side of spicy creamy sauces for dipping your fries, or to add to farofa.

We are out of towners ("tourists"!!! Ahhhh) here in Orlando for a week and I hate chain restaurants. So I searched Yelp and Groupon and came up with Boteca. Location wise, this restaurant is a little out of the way in a strip mall right across from the Premium Outlets. We came from the Universal theme parks and your cab driver (who claimed to know all the steak restaurants in the area) had no idea where it was even after we gave him the address and showed him on our phones. Nonetheless, after a little time, we made our way there. We were seated immediately. Surprisingly, it was not busy at 8pm on a Saturday. However, we discovered that the local Brazilian community must have a later dinner hour than Americans as the place started to fill up around 9pm. One good sign was that most of the patrons appeared to be South American and not tourists like us. Our server, Leandro, was very friendly and explained all the more unusual Brazilian dishes well and even brought out some farofa for us to try before we ordered. Surprisingly my 10 year old daughter loved it and ate it all up! We started with the shrimp with garlic and olive oil. It was yummy. Great flavor. However, we did suggest to the waiter that butterflying the shrimp prior to cooking would make the shrimp more flavorful with the wonderful garlic and olive oil mixture and easier to peel. The accompanying sauce was wonderful and we ended up keeping some for the rest of our meal. I had the rib eye with fried yucca and grilled vegetables. The rib eye was delicious, possibly one of the better steaks I have had from a flavor perspective. It was a little over the medium rare that I ordered but extremely tasty so I didn't mind. The yucca was battered and fried, had a great light batter and was very tasty, especially with the sauce from our appetizer. I also had both the lime and kiwi caipirinhas. Both were very strong but I strongly recommend the lime one. It was smooth, refreshing and quite a nice cocktail. My husband had the Oswaldo Aranha Filet. It was well cooked and tender but lacked the flavor of my steak. We also ordered and shared the beef empanada and a side order of rice and black beans. The beef empanada's were very nice. My "not hungry" 9 year old ended up eating three of them. The beef is nicely seasoned with olives and had a depth of flavor that was a pleasant surprise. We ended a very pleasant meal with the passionfruit mousse and the Brazilian chocolate cream. We are not big rich dessert people but the passionfruit mousse was a big winner. They come in petite sized glasses and just the right size after a very filling meal. All in all, I was very pleasantly surprised by Boteca. While a lot of the reviews on Yelp were very positive, one never knows when traveling to a new city. I am so glad we decided to venture off the beaten path!! Leandro even called us a cab to get us back to our hotel. Thanks!! If we are back here again, we will definitely be back.

David pretty much said it all... the only thing I have to add which is the reason I am not giving them 5 starts is: they include the TIP on the check, which I didn't notice the first time. So when we went there the second time I finally understood why the total wasn't adding up... I was very upset and left a bad taste on my mouth. The service is great, the food is delicious but I didn't like them adding 15% tip on my check. It was a table of only 2 people, most places add the tip when is a party of 6 or more people... It's going to be a while until I go back there... VERY disappointing................

Found Boteco, a wonderful authentic Brazilian restaurant, on recent Orlando visit (great Yelp reviews got our attention). Started with Lime Caipirinha (delicious, Brazilian rum with super fresh squeezed lime juice and a bit of sugar) and Malibu cocktails. Hats off to the bartender! Three standout appetizers: Cheese Bread (small round fresh dough balls infused with delicious cheese); Black Bean Shots (texture of pureed black bean soup, served in a latte cup, delicate flavor with hint of onion); Steak & Blue Cheese pizza. The Beef Empanadas (ground beef with olives) and the Beef Stroganoff entrée were both good but not nearly as impressive as the appetizers. We loved the food so much we returned 2 days later! This time we tried the Chicken Dumplings appetizer (OK but rather dry) and the Filet w/French Fries appetizer (delicious and tenderly cooked to order, sautéed with onions). The Filet Mignon entrée was perfectly cooked and delicately seasoned. Boteco offers several desserts, but we were too full to try any of them. Our server on each of our visits (Giselle; Karla) was warm, friendly, engaged and prepared to discuss all details of how each dish was prepared. There is street side seating; the interior is nicely decorated with wood paneling and canvas art; the bar is backlit by a mural-sized blue neon wall panel that complements the décor but does not strain the eyes. Great food! Great service! Nice ambience! Will definitely visit Boteco again on our next trip to Orlando!

We were here on St. Patty's day so the place was dead but I doubt it usually is with how fabulous the food and service was. Our server, Lucas was very knowledgable about the menu and suggested cod cakes as a starter which were amazing. They were Yucca and cod fish fried and the flavor was perfect for a starter. He also suggested the top sirloin, which was TWO steaks and he also suggested the farofa with vinaigrette and rice and beans. It was phenomenal. The steaks were tender and juicy and the farofa with vinaigrette made the beans the most delicious beans I have ever tasted. I also got grilled vegetables which were cooked well but they had a vinegar flavor so it wasn't my favorite but they were still really good! My date got the breaded beef and that was also very tasty. There wasn't a bite left on either of our plates and not because the portions were small! We just couldn't stop eating it! The drinks I cannot spell or pronounce but they were amazing. The first one was strawberries and vodka and the other was passion fruit and curacha (sp?). They were just strong enough and the flavors mixed perfectly.

The whole family stopped by here on a chance. Boy are we glad we did. The appetizers are all spot on. The wife had the grilled beef and I had the top sirloin. Both were fantastic. The fried yucca was light and tasty. The service was fantastic. I highly recommend.

Sorry to said this but it was an awful service from the waiter Lucas, my sister is on vacation so I wanted to take her to a nice place and different. We got there and after we order everything started going down the hill. First the appetizer Chicken croquettes, he brought them without the sauce that is part of it according to the menu. I had to asked him for the sauce and he never brought the sauce and the restaurant was not busy just 4 tables with customers and there was 2 waiters. After the main dish came my order should had beans and Farofa well he didn't bring the beans until I had to ask the other waiter for the beans and water which Lucas forgot to ask if we need water or something else oh and the Farofa don't ask me because I never knew what it looks like or taste like he also "forgot" to included in the meal. By this time I was really upset finish half of what I ordered, and to end my "wonderful" night he brought me the check with 3 desserts that I never ordered, I waited until he decided to look at my table and he said it was a mistake that was the order of other table, I didn't know they ordered exactly the same as we ordered plus 3 desserts.( yeah right) so no I didn't leave any TIP. But I let him know why because the tip is to get a good service not to be ignored the whole time and bring the food without half of what it suppose to be served with. I have never been treated like that in any place and I'm the person who always leave more than the 15% of the Tip. But this was an insult. And to finish this he saw the bill and yelled "pillo" in English is Thief and follow me outside and started do like reverence movement saying thank you. I didn't want to pay attention and just got in the car and left. What a great night for my sister. Never go back to that place while Lucas keep working there. Very rude.

Great food. I can't comment on authenticity as I have no idea what authentic Brazilian food is like, but the flavor was all there. As with most places south of Georgia, steer clear of the tap water if at all possible. Sulfur water does not help the dining experience. According to the waiter, I ordered a very Brazilian dish; sirloin steak and eggs topped with "caramelized" onions. The steak was seasoned and cooked very nicely, it wasn't trimmed perfectly, but hey it's sirloin, what do you expect? The egg was a lovely medium with the slightest bit of runny yolk. The onions claimed to be caramelized but, while good, were only sautéed. The dish came with a side of rice and some wonderful black beans, which I'm guessing were cooked in traditional Brazilian style with a healthy scoop of lard. Tasty. Mixing the rice and beans and topping with some farofa, a cooked flour condiment, created a wonderfully flavorful and textural side dish. My wife and I also split some excellent fried, sweet plantains and some empanadas. Both flavors we tried, cheese/oregano and chicken, were very good, not over fried, not greasy, well seasoned. The waiter was kind and helpful, constantly maintaining full drink glasses and providing us with some Brazilian suggestions. The ambience was a little strange, there were two people at the bar and a large Brazilian family at a nearby table, but other than that the place was pretty empty. The decor seemed to be going for a modern, resort style restaurant with blue LED lights lining the walls. Pricing was a little steep, but not too bad for a vacation and tourist town. All in all, very good experience.

We have been to Boteco 3 times and found it to be consistently excellent. We've tried several appetizers. The codfish cakes were delicious as was the coxinha. My DH thinks their sausage appetizer served with a load of fries is the best sausage he's ever eaten, and I adore the Grilled Shrimp with bacon. Several of the appetizers are large enough for a main dish for those with light appetites and all I've seen are very attractively served. We usually have the steak as an entree - almost always the filet. Their menu says their steaks are fresh cut daily and I believe it. It's one of the best steaks I've had in Orlando at any price. The small Passion Fruit dessert is the perfect ending to a great meal!

This place was fantastic! It was so very hard to find and we almost gave up driving around in circles as for some reason we didn't notice the sign and we thought it was a free standing restaurant, not in a strip mall. The place isn't fancy inside but it's nice and clean and the bar looks cool. I don't eat a lot of meat so I ordered the salmon and it was amazing. My boyfriend ordered the steak with eggs on top which he thought was pretty good. I ordered the traditional lime caipirinha cocktail which I highly recommend. It is much like a mojito. I also got the Brazilian cream for dessert which is a cross between a chocolate ganache and a chocolate mousse. I still crave it! Our waiter was so nice and he explained everything to us. He had a wonderful accent and helped me to say : Obrigado (thank you in Brazilian). This place is authentic and wonderful. If I ever go back to Orlando/Kissimee/Walt Disney World, I will eat here again.

Hubby and I went for a quick "snack" before our movie started and we ended up with an appetizer called "Sirloin and fries" to share. It was enough for the both of us.

We went as we saw this place on an infomercial in our hotel room and since we love caipirinhas and Picanha we said why not... the place doesn't really feel like a brazilian boteco but it was nice, clean and modern. We had two caipirinhas each the first one was a bit too sweet but we told our waiter and they made the second one better. We ate coxinha de frango and a picanha they were both really good and our waitor was really nice and helpful. We would definitely come back next time we are in Orlando.

First of all, my hubby is Brazilian and I lived in Brazil for 6 months, so I know Brazilian food. This place has good, authentic Brazilian food, but also extremely SLOW service. We ordered a caipirinha, which is the signature drink in Brazil and we waited almost 15 minutes to get it. The top sirloin(picanha) that I got was delicious, yet we waited almost an hour to get it... and it was not busy. It's just the Brazilian way.. no rush. If you are impatient, don't come here. If you want real good Brazilian food, you definitely will find it here, you will just wait a little while longer.

I walked in asking for a coffee, because I craved coffee and Starbucks was a long ways off. The warm staff made me comfortable and made sure my caffeine fix was taken care of! I'm now waiting to have their famous YUCCA beef dish :-). They have a live band playing very fun, active music. Overall, a great little hidden restaurant on International drive!

Smilng people serve here and eat here. Why, because the food makes your heart happy so the cook must be great to work around cause you can taste the love in the preperation of everything we were served. Brazilian food has always been famous in this area of Orlando but this place would be hard to beat!

The food here was excellent. I had the bife grelhado (grilled steak) and the portion size was more than enough. I also had a caipirinha which was delicious. Needless to say, I will definitely be returning!

Horrible horrible service. They made us wait for 10 min for them to clear off a table. Then they pulled a reserve sign off of a table and gave it to us. After another 10 min without even being offered a drink, it was time to leave. Never going again.

I often find in areas where it is very tourist driven - servers are jaded and not friendly. Not the case here, our waiter was adorable, smiling, attentive and seemed genuinely happy to be there. The ambiance is clean, well decorated and casual. The food was great - yucca as mentioned in many reviews was perfection, plantains to die for, the steaks were great cooked perfectly (could have used a little more seasoning in my opinion but good none the less. Prices were reasonable for the portions. Overall this is a winner in my eyes!

Best servers ever. Job was our server a real Brazilian. The manager (Virgilio) on duty was really nice also. Another server named Danila was also nice. The chef came put and she greeted us. That chef is really good. Appetizers Cheese Bread $3.95 best ever I would have paid $6.00 Top Sirloin & Fries (we had Yuca Fries) Entrees I had Top Sirloin with Yuca Fries and Rice & Beans. I don't know how they make that white rice but it was the best white rice ever. Wife had Skirt Steak with Steamed Vegetables and Fried Yuca. And if you have never had one of these, a Caipirinha then you don't know what your missing. That is the best drink ever. Also there plates are big. Recipe for the CAIPIRINHA Things You'll Need 4 Limes quartered 1/2 Cup of Brown sugar (white can be used) 5 Ounces of cachaça (or more!) Ice cubes (preferably crushed) A Pitcher

5*****STARS TO BOTECO! This is my new favorite restaurants: BRAZILIAN A LA CARTE! EXTREMELY TIRED of have to deal with other restaurants "Buffet Style", I was lucky to have found this COZY-CLEAN, CASUAL,TRENDY AND INTIMATE restaurant near of the Designer Premium Outlets off of International Dr and Oakridge Rd, in the same TACO BELL plaza. Personalized service, decent portions, quality ingredients, authentic Brazilian dishes, fine spirits and drinks "A LA CARTE" is all I need! I am an small-portions-eater so prefer: QUALITY VS. QUANTITY. I am a big fan of good service only.... After all, this is what DINING EXPERIENCE is all about! This restaurant also features SPORTS on TV, and is good for drinking, eat dessert or have lunch and dinner.

Came looking for a different type of Brazilian experience outside of your steakhouses. This place had authentic food, drinks, and music. Server did not rush is and actually stopped us from ordering our entree until we were half way done with appetizers as we would have ordered too much. Highly recommended place!

My Family and I went there for Mothers Day Dinner , six of us , We had 3 Groupons I called first to make sure that they would Honor the Groupons first before we left and the Manager said no problem so we made a reservation and showed up an hour later The place was full and we thought we would have to sit at 3 different tables with the groupons but the manger was so Very Kind he let us sit together , We order 3 Apps , Calamari,Chicken wings were great and Cod fish cakes were just OK "Not enough fish in the cakes for me" the Manager / Our Waiter heard us talking about the cakes and offer us another App for Free so we couldn't make up our minds and told him to Surprise us and He did with Crock of shredded beef with mash potatoes on top . It was the Winner of the App. 5 of us got the Filet and 1 got the Salmon they were all Good and you know the Service was Excellent ... If you plan on going there with more than one groupon ,I would call first , They are a Very Nice Restaurant and more than Likely will Accommodate ...
