Kevin is an awesome bartender! He knows the menu, can make great drinks and has amazing attention to detail. We had the cuban burger, hometown burger and the sampler plate. The food was outstanding, great flavor combinations and everything cooked perfect. I would highly recommend stopping in for a beer or burger.

So, I've been coming to this bar/restaurant for over a year now and I think it's time for me to give a review. I'm going to be completely honest in this review because whenever asked in person about this place this is almost word for word I'm going to say. This is more of a bar for me than a restaurant however, the food is extremely good. I have not once been dissatisfied with what I ordered and they put their own spin on some classic dishes that actually make them even better than what you were expecting. So for food I give them a 4-4.5. HOWEVER, over the course of the year or so I've been going I'm going to say that the only person I allow (yes I mean allow, if this person is not there I leave) to serve me at all is Bryan. Every other server I have ever had has been borderline horrible. Once even I had the manager apologize because a server didn't bring me my drink that I was watching melt at the bar for over 15mins because she was sitting with some customer just chatting away. (I also believe she was fired that night) Also, once I had ordered one of their specialty drinks and I really wasn't happy and the owner (I believe) came over and tasted the drink in front of me (with his own straw which still what???!!?!) and said that's how its made with no resolution to the problem. I do come here semi-regularly still though because when you find a great server/bartender you stick with them. My guy always has my drink of choice ready in minutes of him seating me, he sets me up with everything I need right away and frequently checks on me while I'm there making up for the other bad experiences I have had. Also, they have a great manager now who always walks around and checks on people making sure everything is good. The crowd that comes varies a lot so you never know what type of people are going to be around but generally there isn't any problems (even when its busy.) I wouldn't call this a family place past sundown especially because smoking is permitted on the patios which is where a majority of their seating is and it becomes more bar than restaurant past sun down as well. All in all I have to give this place a 4 because I wouldn't go back to any place less than a 4 and I'm still coming.

I really enjoy stopping in here for lunch. The day time bartender is great. I prefer to sit at the bar even if I'm not drinking, especially for lunch. I feel I get quicker service (it helps with being on a short time frame for lunch sometimes). I personally would order off the regular menu and not the lunch specials (more food for only a $1 or $2 more). Good atmosphere, great beer selection, and great food (although I wish they would bring the Hound dog sandwich back). All in all it is a great place to go, hang out have some beers, or just have a great lunch and check out the sports scores on the numerous TV's.

I've visited this place a number of times. They have good food (the Mac and cheese burger is awesome- and can't forget the Yucca fries) but the service is just ok. Sitting at the bar instead of a table has proven to be much more efficient.

This place is great. The food is awesome, the service is top notch, and the huge drink selection makes it so much better.

Shrimp and grits are amazing. The entire menu is solid. Ask for Kimberly. She is the best!

  • Tamera T.

Food is good, I'll give them that. Service, however, they need to work on. They need more servers on, it just takes way too long.

Randomly found this place on yelp and was not displeased. The beer was great, the patios and ambiance were fun (the live band was a little loud but at least entertaining) and the beer was great. Oh, I said that twice. Must try for a random happy hour!

  • Len M.

Great food, great drinks... super noisy though. Nice to sit outside, but under cover when it's raining. Pool table out back. Tons of parking all around in dedicated lot.

Went there to watch a Sunday night football game. They ever not too busy and we sat down right away. The food was very good but the service was very slow. Our waitress took forever to get our order, provide our food, and get our check. I might go back again because the food and atmosphere was good but the service must improve.

  • Talie S.

So the food here is delicious but the mix drinks are inconsistent and the service is sub-par. I've even sent back drinks that were so badly poured I couldn't finish them. Other times they were made perfectly. I'd come here again just for beer and good bar food but I'd be taking gamble on anything else.

The atmosphere is great. I love places with outdoor seating. This place has the outdoor seating along with live music and a huge TV for sport seasons. My rating is based off of the atmosphere and the freaking street tacos I had. They were delicious!

  • Christina C.

Food is very just okay and very it's severely over priced. The music is way too loud and the staff did not know their own product

I stopped by for lunch during a weekday with 2 other coworkers, and we had a decent experience. The decor is clean and inviting for a sort of sports bar. I particularly like the outdoor seating area, although the road noise can be a bit much if big rigs drive by. It was not busy at all, but we still had quite a wait for service. We each had a soup and sandwich, and we all agreed they were pretty good for the price. I plan on returning to try some of the more traditional bar fare, like burgers or wings. Overall everything was pretty good. If they improve the service times, then they just might have a winner.

Bloodhound is sitting pretty here at a comfy 4 stars. We find the service wonderful and there are few standout bartenders that actually bend over backwards. Great guys! I love the beer selection. When they first started out it was good, but over time it has continued to get better and better. Cigar City on tap, bottles of great beers like Lagunitas, and for you cider lovers Angry Orchard is on tap as well. They have a lunch menu with great prices and lunch portions and the full menu is available from open to close. Here is a rundown of the food I've had. The Philly with waffle fries - The Philly is pretty good I get it with Provolone, onions, peppers and mushrooms. The bun holds well without being to bready. The Chicken Sandwich with waffle fries. Do you want a chicken sandwich and waffle fries that are awesome that aren't served with a side of hateful political agenda? Well here you go. It's huge, delicious but I've never been able to finish the dang thing. Love the waffle fries! The Cuban Sandwich with yucca fries. For awhile I was stuck on this. It's good, a touch salty at times but pork and pickles are salty so I can't complain. The yucca fries are an interesting side that pairs well with the sandwich. The sausage hoagie is bursting with flavor. It's topped with onions, peppers and mustard. It's perfect when your craving a dog. Street Tacos, This is a huge plate of chicken or beef. The tacos are made with a soft corn tortilla and a spicy sauce on top. This is a huge plate you can share between two people or it can be for one very hungry person. Fish Tacos are very similar to the street tacos except with fish and the usual cabbage slaw. They are also delicious. Bloodhound Nacho plate. It's large, we got it with chicken and they really did it up with everything you would ever put on a nacho. They don't skimp. I'm looking forward to trying more and upping the score.

I decided to stop in one Saturday afternoon and sit outside on their patio to have a couple of drinks. I didn't order any food, so I can't comment on their selection. The beer selection here is pretty good. Many standard craft beer choices to pick from. They also have many happy hour specials for a variety of different things. The server was pretty nice and attentive. This seems very much like a local place, and since I don't live in the area, I am not sure if this will be a place I would visit again.

Claire! OMG! Ahhhh. She's my dream. Cut from the hot blood of Caligula and torn from the calloused heart of Zeus. She is both just and humble. She is a gauntlet of kindness. A seriously down dude. Out of five stars, I would give her more stars than there are in the sky. I love her, she will be mine.

I wandered in since it was across the street from a restaurant that I had tried to try, but left hungry because it was so eh. I've driven by the place and it always looks like a rowdy party at night, so I thought since it was about 6:30 it would be a good time to check the place out while it was still not nutty. First off, its clean! Big bonus. The bartender was totally a sweetheart who you could tell will make anyone feel welcome. She just moved to town and started there, so her knowledge of the menu and beers was clearly not fully developed but she knew enough to answer basic questions and knew who to ask if she didn't know the answer. The decor was pretty standard pub, nothing extraordinary. They had a decent beer selection including a "house" beer, which I'm pretty sure is a stock beer that I've had a few other places, under different names (I know for a fact AB and I'm pretty sure C/M have a few beers they produced without labels so places can put their name on it). I tried the Mac n Cheese since I am a total hooker for mac n cheese and it was great. They use a white cheddar base and I don't know what others for flavor, but it was pretty unique. I probably wont have drive across town cravings for it, but if I'm hungry and in the area, I'll certainly remember it, and it's enough to make me want to go back and try more at some point. All in all if you're in the area looking for a place to eat, its seems to be a solid option for american bar food.

Been coming here over 2 years and order the same thing which is fried wings and for some reason tonight it just seem to taste different and they came out extra fast from the kitchen at this time I'm thinking wow that was quick maybe cause its not busy but later to eat the wings and find out they were over cooked which is a NO NO!! but our server FRAN CAME AND MADE EVERYTHING BETTER!!! BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER...COULDN'T BE MORE GREATFUL AND YESS I WILL COME BACK AND YOU SHOULD TO AS WELL....

Awesome service server Shea let us know about SIN Night and other upcoming events! And friend and I enjoyed chicken and biscuits as well as Jerk wrap we were also informed and provided hospitality cards which gives up happy hour all day every day! Will definitely be coming back soon!

I end up here once or twice a month. I bring all my friends from out of town here and not a single one of them has ever gotten anything less than great food. The Bloodhound Burger is pure magic. As is the Fried Chicken and Biscuits. Just go. Try it. You'll love it.

  • Christine R.

Good atmosphere, the burger was good. Nothing really too impressive with this place, except the fact they have a lot of craft beers on tap. If I was around the area I would stop back in, but I wouldn't go out of my way.

I came here with a group of 6 on a Sunday for lunch. The very attractive waitress was in great spirits and sat us down. It took a very long time to get drinks and several were wrong. We order appetizers and they took a long time to get to us. We eventually had to get a manager to get all of our drinks after about 15 minutes. They have a good beer selection. The food was OK. I had a cranberry pecan chicken salad wrap $8.99. It was nothing special. At the end I noticed they charged me $9.99 for the sandwich and I mentioned it to the waitress. My friends gave me the "stop being so cheap" look and I didn't press it, however when the credit card receipt made it to me the price was not changed. I don't ever see myself going back or recommending it to anyone.

Overall, I really enjoy Bloodhound Brew. I have been here at least 10 times and the majority of my experiences have been good. Positives: They have a good beer selection! Their signature Bloodhound Brew is tasty and reasonably priced. There are many other beers to choose from and they serve liquor also. The food is quite good. I have enjoyed the nachos, their macaroni and cheese, and I have had one of their chicken wraps and all have been good. There are some really great servers there. Shield and Atalie come to mind, but there are others whose names I cannot remember at this time. On nights when there is live music it can be a fantastic time! Negatives: On occasion, my party and I have gotten servers that were not so attentive. This has been rare though. Some nights the sports playing is loud and obnoxious. They seem to want to be a sports bar, even though in my opinion, the atmosphere is different than your average sports bar. I wish they had a clearer schedule of events so I could plan my outings for music nights instead of sports nights. Also, there is one female manager we encountered in the evening that was quite rude when we were simply asking for clarification on something. That soured the experience a bit that evening. Overall, I would say go check this place out! I have definitely had more positive experiences than negative ones.

Bloodhound having a hard time keeping up with the crowd. They've advertised the World Cup but aren't prepared. Poor planning. We waited 45 minutes for drinks, the frozen margaritas were watery, tasteless and slow to arrive. Beers arrived 1 at a time over the next 1/2 hour.

First impression was not the best when I had to sit myself, hostess was missing. Thats why this place got a 3 star instead of 4. Sat outside and ordered the chicken and biscuits. Wow!!! It was delicious, the best mac and cheese I've ever had! The chicken was crispy and the biscuits were warm, soft, and buttery. Totally recommend this meal!

Hey now! The last time I heard the name Bloodhound, I was a teen in high school dancing to bloodhound gang song "You and me baby ain't nothin' but mammals So let's do it like they do on the Discovery Channel" with two hot ladies. this has ZERO merit on why you should or should not go there, I just like the fond memory. Anyways, the oustide patio is spacious, forgot to check out the inside (doh!), and the servers are cute and attentative. So far so good. The beers are a tad pricey by an extra buck or two, about 5-6 bucks, but a decent selection of craft beers. I had the house burger which includes bacon(they said crisp bacon but it was pretty flimsy standard), 10 oz of hand made patty meat, sweet pineapple bbq sauce, and mac and cheese. It was good. Actually it was pretty great. I'd say top 4 or 5 burger in town. It was so filling I couldn't even finish it. And whoever didn't like the waffle fries must not like things to be seasoned bc the seasoning was strong and delicious. If their Waffle fries was in an MMA fight with chick-fil-a fries, the Bloodhound waffle fry would have roundhoused kicked the other fry in the face for a knockout in 10 seconds. That good. Favorite waffle fry to date. Check em out. They are a nice addition to the kirkman/conroy corridor to...nothing. But I'll be checking them out at least every other week for lunch. Oh, and the manager came by to see how our food was, nice guy, and always an appreciated touch. Well played.

Stopped at this place after doing the Halloween Horror Nights Saturday & the whole experience sucked! It took 45 mins for appetizers to come out which were burnt (wings & coconut shrimp)! For my entree I ordered shrimp & grits. I was given shrimp pasta...the server giggled the plate around to see if grits were in it...WHO DOES THAT! Then I was told they were short on cooks for the night. Long story short after receiving our dinner the second time around & it still wasn't correct we just chopped it up as a loss. Total time for food coming out was 1:15 mins. Needless to say I left this place unhappy & hungry. ( I gave 1 star because I couldn't give no stars) Sunny

Food poisoning sucks! Thanks chicken street tacos for ruining my week. Never going back to this place

Great food and not too pricey! Love the grilled pineapple BBQ or diablo wings! Cuban burger or bloodhound burger is a must try too! Live music at night and to me Saturdays are the best for that! Tuesday night all you can eat street tacos for under $10 .... Can't beat it! Oh and tv's outside on the patio to watch all the games!

I'm not often on this side of town, but a friend and I were feeling adventurous on a Monday and decided to check it out for a couple beers. We sat at the bar and were greeted by Michael. He was the only one working that afternoon and had quite a few tables and the bar to maintain, but he did it with ease and a smile. He gave us some great recommendations for beer and we sampled a few. On Mondays, all craft beer drafts 5.2% ABV or lower are only $3! The Cigar City Hornswoggled is normally $7, so I was excited about this special. My friend ordered the Bloodhound Brew, a red ale, that was so terrible she only drank a few sips and ordered another beer. It tasted off but neither of us could place what it was. We had already eaten lunch but did look at the food menu. A few items sounded interesting, such as the mac n cheese wings. The menu was a little all over the place though as far as the types of food they offered. It was a bit confusing! This place has an amazing patio, which I think would be nice for cooler months. All in all a solid place with a good selection of beer and specials.

  • Brad S.

This place claims to have live music all week, so we went while on a mini vaca to Orlando. No music on a Tuesday night. The bartender said they really only have it on weekends. Otherwise, they seem to have a decent rail of craft beers. The food looked like typical pub grub. Without any music, this is just another strip mall bar. We went elsewhere to eat.

  • Sloan J.

Simply stellar. Had no expectations coming in, and was taken by surprise. Everything was on point especially their hand made sauces. Had the sampler platter which I would highly recommend. It lets you try all the best that Bloodhound has to offer. Ordered the Bloodhound burger to share with my girlfriend, and I am glad we did, because after that large sampler, there wasn't a need for two entrees. Beer selection was very extensive with a few limited editions fro Cigar City. Service was knowledgable, friendly, and down to earth. We are already planning next time.

The Cuban Burger just was off. Seasonings were flavorful but the burger was too dry and lacking all that luscious juicy burger yum! Boooo. The Yucca fries seemed to be like manufactured fries. The texture just didn't seem natural. Way too mushy and texture too uniform. The dipping sauce was good but really only okay; was the mantra for this dining event it seems. The St. Bernadus ABT 12 was great. Cold enough to refresh yet not so cold to hamper all the complex flavors a Trappist beer has to offer.

  • Vanessa C.

Nice casual atmosphere, good music, food was very good, tasty and fresh. Servers were friendly and fun. Good music, a little disappointed beers were not as cold as i like them. It was my first visit here, overall we had a good time and yes, I will go back

AWESOME!!! Definitely a place to check out if you want good drink specials and good food. At first I was hesitant to check this place out based on the name and looks. My first thought was this was a biker bar, but thankfully for Yelp I changed my mind quickly. We sat outside both times (weather was nice) and was glad. It was a little loud with music at night but still able to hold conversations. Service was fast and friendly. I ordered the Bloodhound Burger with fries and a side of Bloodhound wing sauce. The burger was well seasoned and cooked perfectly. Plenty of fresh toppings and the sauce on the burger added to the flavors. The previous day we ordered the nachos. Definitely was different than I expected. I was expecting a BBQ nacho in my mind but when I took a bite it was Mexican. They were good!!!! The portions are huge, we ordered the large size to split with the table and we never finished it. I wanted to try their HOT HOT sauce without having to do the chicken wing challenge. Glad I did!!! I dipped a fry into a little of the sauce then ate it. At first it was not bad, but the heat quickly built. Within 2 minutes my ears were hurting and I was chugging water and beer and eating fries. The heat died down eventually, but hell no to that wing challenge lol.

I've been here a bunch of times, mostly because the food is great and above that, the different options they have are fairly unique. The drink selection is great and they even have their own beer (when they're not out of it, see below) The outside patio area is pretty nice but beyond that, this place doesn't have much to offer. My true rating is probably 2.5 stars but the food and atmosphere help a lot. It just seems like everything they do is off a bit. Let me explain. I've been here to watch football and they had live music, very odd combination. When most recently here (earlier tonight) they had trivia but half of the patio couldn't hear the host and they were still playing music over the host while he was trying to speak. The service tonight was painstakingly slow (although our server seemed to try, he was not very good at being a server). Drinks and food came out very slow and he needed to be reminded about drink orders more than once. To top it off they ran out of a bunch many items including their own beer. FUN FACT: It appears like they have a cornhole (bags) league on Tuesday nights (at least they did tonight). Pretty neat concept that I've never seen before.

I have gone to this place a couple of times. Its a nice neighborhood bar with inside and outside seating. Sometimes they have live bands which gives this place a little flava....:) I will never eat their food again. They have interesting choices and some of their dishes were good. However this last time I visited my chicken wings were not done. I informed the waitress and when my wings were returned I had 5 wings...I pulled apart 3 out of 10 because on my first bite the chicken wasnt done....but when they were returned I only had five ....so they re-cooked the wings that were on my plate and returned them....is that sanitary? Not sure. I told the manager and she was really nice and recooked everything fresh....however, they were a tad bit burned I think they did that on purpose....just saying....If you go dont get the wings unless you like them medium well.

  • Vanessa L.

They are very good about working with people. Twice there have been incidents outside the place that the staff has been aware of and taken care of. I love seeing that. One when a guy seemed abusive to the woman he was with and the other was a rather drunk individual walking by. There were at least five staff members ready to act in each situation.

Not sure where to start. Third night here and this is by far the biggest wow yet.. From the beer to the wings to the burger.. Simply put a rear place to stop after the park

Their French fries suck, their burgers are eh... Ok. Their coconut shrimp tempura is delicious. That's about it.

Decent lunch prices, friendly service and decent food. The lunch combos for $7.99 are tasty. I ordered 2 chicken tacos and a salad which came with bacon and avocado ranch dressing. Yum! My fiancé got the Mac n cheese which was awesome but wasn't a fan of the Cuban. My dad enjoyed the fried AND grilled hot wings, and my mom got a wrap but said the chicken was a bit dry. I ordered a flight of beers to sample. Don't be fooled by the name "brew pub" as they only actually have one type of Bloodhound beer on tap, a red lager. It wasn't my favorite. I did try a few other local Florida brews which were tasty - but be careful, they upcharge $1.00 for each beer in the flight that you order that's over 5.3%ABV. We would definitely come back for lunch and possibly happy hour, but I'd just stick to getting a pint instead of a flight next time.

Wow...just wow. I had been meaning to stop by Bloodhound's for some time now. Tonight's visit was encouraged by my neighbor when I said I wanted some mac-n-cheese. He told me BH was notorious for theirs. Right he was! Service: I placed a to-go order and the staff was pleasant and took my request quickly. I showed up to the bar 15 minutes later and my food was hot, the bartender quickly pulled my tab and greeted me by name when I came in the door. Wow! Food: I ordered the Chicken & Biscuits (which famously comes with seasoned mac-n-cheese). I thought I was going to get more mac-n-cheese with my to-go order as I had a very small bowl but it looked tasty regardless. I then opened my to-go box and saw a hot and steamy platter of giant "dragon chicken" breasts (as my friend describes them) soft biscuits and delicious white gravy. Wow the chicken breasts were big! The chicken breast is lightly breaded and very juicy. The biscuits were soft and very warm and the gravy....oh the gravy...instant foodgasm. Last but not least the mac-n-cheese was some of the best commercial mac I've had in forever. Wow! Seasoned perfectly and the noodles and cheese actually looked real and tasted great unlike most commercial mac that tastes like card board. Overall: I'm blown away by this place and I can't wait to go back. Next time I'm def sticking around and ordering a beer!

This place was a surprise to me on all aspects from atmosphere, service to the food and beer! It sits right at the intersection of Conroy and Kirkman in what I will now refer to as the "Trifecta Intersection" as it sits adjacent to STP and Agave Azul. When you drive in the area and the shopping center parking lot it sits in seems unassuming, so your expectation are lowered, but that's good...because you will be blown away by what you are about to experience! The restaurant is in 3 different sections. One with pool tables and high tops, one inside section with tables and a formal bar and then the outside/covered section. We sat outside which was the place to be! Now down to the nitty gritty of the review...the food and drink! I ordered a pitcher of their house "bloodhound brew" for only $6! It was great and rivaled Sam Adams, etc...the menu was full of tasty sounding food from some sort of mac n cheese wings to street tacos and sandwiches. The thing that caught my eye was the Chicken and Biscuits. The description is mouth watering and the real thing was beyond scrum-diddly-umptious!!! I will be the first to say that I expected far less on all levels, but Bloodhound now has a regular and a new marketing tool via my mouth which will be telling everyone I know! I honestly cant say enough about this place! The service was stellar, the beer was great, the atmosphere was perfect and the food was damn tasty!

Bloodhound is your local dive meets amazing food. They feature live bands several nights of the week, have big screen TVs with the sports package, and the best burger in the area hands down. My recommendation: get the Bloodhound Burger with the garlic yucca fries and adult beverage of your choice - you can't go wrong. I also recommend going at rush hour to get the best service - you tend to be ignored if there are only 5-10 patrons on the patio, as the staff retreat inside to avoid the heat.

Came here for a lunch/ talk shit session with my mom and I'm leaving overall pretty satisfied. Food was tasty and fresh, drinks were strong, and servers were friendly. Only bad was that the small plates for the appetizers were dirty on the first try but they got it right the second time and twice our beers came Warner than we would have liked. Overall would come back.

Love this place! I usually go for a drink, but the food is also great, with a lot of unique, specialty burgers, as well as healthy and vegetarian options. Try the chicken wrap! The craft beer list includes Bloodhound's own brews and several Florida state beers. Great options! It usually isn't too crowded or loud for game nights, and the staff have always been accommodating to put our games on nearby tvs.

Some of THE best burgers we have eaten in a long time. The charbroiled flavor was exactly the way a burger should taste. We stopped in for lunch figuring we would give this place a try for the first time. We were very happy with the decision. I will have to say our service was a little slow for the amount of customers but she was the only server, inside and out. If we had one in PSL we would frequent this restaurant.

This place is a super chill place with great food and good draft beers. Great if you're looking for a good place to go with some friends. Try the yuca fries!!

they have some good beer specials, but the cocktails are a bit pricey. They food menu is large, and it all looks great. My favorite is the street tacos. The menu is a bit expensive for bar food, but it is a chain and as I said they have to support a large menu. There is plenty of seating (sit outside if you can you'll get better service)

We ate here for our first dinner of our vacation. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. It took over an hour to get our burgers. All of them were cooked to well-done when most had been ordered medium-well. The customer service was terrible as well. Really, really bad experience.

OK, I really want to like this place. Yucca fries rock. Staff is fun. They have plenty of entertainment options, games and whatnot. But...beer selection was kinda lame for a place with "Brew Pub" in the name, especially in 2015, when you can get great beer everywhere, like across the street at Sloppy Taco Palace. Lines were a bit stale, too. And if you want BBQ? Go across the street to Bubbalou's. Like I said, I want this place to work, but this was our third visit, and it just hasn't gelled yet. Seems busy enough, so hopefully it'll come together soon.

My husband and I went here for lunch. They have a really interesting menu with lots of different twists on traditional dishes. I ordered Pineapple BBQ wings with the Yucca fries. My husband got the Shrimp and Grits. We got two beers. Food was good but the shrimp and grits were amazing. Best ever! The seating is awkward which is way I rated 4 stars. I'll be back to try other menu items for sure.

The food on the menu alone appeared to be unappealing and unappetizing, so I didn't even order. My roommate did order (shrimp and grits) and as expected it was pretty terrible. The shrimp were alright; but over all the dish was absolutely terrible, the sauce was overly greasy, and the grits were poorly cooked. I implore you to not give your business to this place. With that being said the staff was absolutely darling, and deserve better quality to serve.

Good food. Good atmosphere. Overall, we really enjoyed our time and food here! The service is a little slow but the servers are nice. We've had the Salmonator and it's fresh and delicious. We've also had the chicken and beef tacos...one of my favorites. We will be back!!

This was pretty bad. We came in as a large group at lunch, and the we waited outside for a while in front of the big "PLEASE WAIT TO BE SEATED" sign. When noone came after about 2 minutes, we went inside, and the bartender saw us, and a waitress waved us over to a table. We sat down for about 5 minutes before the bartender came back over with menus, and then we waited...and waited...and waited...until the bartender came back over to get our drink orders. And then we waited some more, until FINALLY our waitress came over to take our orders - she didn't write anything down, and then when our orders came out (after more waiting), one of the orders was wrong. The food was mediocre, the service was terrible, and the setup is just weird. I probably wouldn't come back. It wasn't busy at all - but it felt like they weren't even trying.

I went to the Cinco De Mayo foam party there and it was so much fun! They had great drink specials. The margaritas were $8 and only $2 to refill! The food was good also the only thing I didn't like were the fries because they were kind of salty. But I would definitely go back.

After having such a bad experience at u and me for 5th year anniversary we decided to try bloodhound brew for our celebration. They have karaoke on Thursdays. I will say I was very pleasantly surprised! Not only did we have a great server named Kevin who was always making sure we were ok, but he made sure every staff knew that we are VIP because it's our anniversary. The bloodhound rolls are the best thing on their menu, hands down. Chris the karaoke host is a lot of fun! The drink specials are great. Good wine for $4.00 is hard to find. I defiantly recommend this place! To my followers: message me for directions.

This place is perfect on a weeknight. They have an incredible beer selection and the open air patio is perfect, even if it's on a busy intersection. I had their sampler appetizer platter and everything was amazing. They make everything in house, even their sauces, and you can definitely taste the quality. If you're in Orlando visiting or live there regular, it's a must hit.

Excellent beer selection, service and funky, creative burgers! Definitely worth the short drive from universal!!

  • Scott S.

Let the good times roll! Great selection of craft beers on tap, and the sampler lets you try four 6 oz beers for $9 or $13 if you choose higher alcohol content options...lots of big high-Def tvs for sports, and liked the fact you could get wings grilled or fried - plus the wing ones come with both parts. They also have a full bar with mixed drinks and a decent happy hour. The outdoor section is fun and wasn't too hot with ceiling fans, but it could be steamy mid-summer outside - there is also an indoor section with A/C and more screens. Live band was good, played several reggae tunes and wasn't so loud we couldn't talk. Service was good but it wasn't very crowded, I could see it becoming tougher late night... Biggest negative is they let people smoke in the outside bar/patio, and there isn't a designated smoking section. So be prepared that someone can plop down right next to your table and smoke away, while you and your party are blanketed in second-hand smoke....Hope they address this. Lastly, the location off of Kirkman draws a diverse crowd, so if you're looking for a higher end experience without the smoke, head a couple miles on Conroy to Dexters. It's a cool concept and the craft beer selection with decent wings make it worth the visit.

I came here with half of my team after our softball game, on a Monday night. We sat on the back patio, with had a pool table and big screen TVs all around. The music was pretty loud but it was fun after having a couple of drinks. I had the chicken and waffles which was pretty good. It was very filling and I had leftovers to take home (yay!) The server was pretty friendly and attentive. I did like it here and will be coming again. :)

Found this place here on yelp, decide to come because it was close to the hotel. Our server was AMAZING!!! By the way you should request her (Francis) . Best server I have had since I have been in Florida!!! I also sat on the patio so it was was a nice atmosphere! We has 2 appetizers, 1 sandwich and 2 beers all under $35 and it tasted amazing! Great food! Better prices!! Amazing service! So happy we found this place we will be back!!

I'll give 2 stars because of their craft beer selection (they even had Jai Alai!) but I'll never return if I can help it. The bar is situated in a parking lot of a strip mall. But that doesn't kill the deal for me. The service is terrible. You have to beg to get noticed. Bartender tried to do some flashy Tom Cruise/Cocktail tricks & I wasn't amused. Just pour my beer, dude. Thx.

I ordered wings with Mac and cheese sauce. The sauce actually taste like Mac and cheese. I also had Hound shanks with bbq sauce and garlic sauce mixed. You get 4 and they are pretty big. It also comes with cabbage and onion straws underneath.

Driving up with friends, I could have sworn the place was closed at 9pm on a weekday. The outdoor lighting on 3 sides (even their sign) needs to be upgraded. I understand the place just opened and we had a big table, but the service was meh... our waiter took a good 20 minutes getting drink order and bringing things out. He offered us free samples of whatever beer they had on tap, but those took forever and we quickly gave up on that. And while I'm on the topic of beer: 1. Don't say you have "30 Craft Beers on Tap" and then list #14 Budweiser & #15 Bud Light and Blue Moon and other non-craft beer. That's just stupid. 2. Our party found more than a couple of the beers were out & not available. So of the "30 Craft Beers on Tap", maybe 20 was more accurate. The food was supposed to be "amazing". I found it average bar food for above average prices. I can go get a nicely done burger for $7 at most bars. They charged $10 and burnt the hell out of it, despite me asking for it to be cooked medium. Seeing as though it took an hour to come out, I didn't bother to send it back. I ordered their "famous" burger that was highlighted and recommended on the menu. I don't recommend it. Even cooked well, it was again: average bar food. My fiancee ordered the meatball sub and found it pretty gross. It's made with chicken sausage meatballs. I tried it and found it gross. She brought half of it home, and by home, I meant to the trash can in our home. The waffle fries were good, but then so again are Chic-fil-A's. They do have plenty of TVs and a nice outside area. The guy singing was average but fun & came over to talk to us. Zero bucket of beer deals or pitcher deals that we were told about. It's a shame since we usually look for that kinda thing. That would have really helped out & influenced us to return.

Love at first, uh, sit! I get good vibrations from the Bloodhound, which juts out, large and in charge, at the Conroy-Windermere/Kirkman intersect. The joint has a huge front covered patio, a small back covered patio, and a cool indoors in the middle. There are mostly high-top tables all over the restaurant, with a few standard-tops mixed in. And for the win, not a booth to be found anywhere! (Maybe there are some, but I haven't seen them). On the big front patio is a large table shuffleboard game; on the back is a pool table; and on the side of the building there is a putting green. The place can get loud, with the music and the street sounds from the busy intersection. It seems that the music isn't always kid-friendly. On our recent lunch visit, we heard a white boy's rock version of Eazy E's "Boyz in Da Hood" uncensored. Speaking of music, Bloodhound supports local bands, featuring them live on the patio nightly. And though I'm not into the craft beer thingy, they feature forty craft beers on tap and at least seventy in bottles. And they have food! Made from scratch food! Skip the appetizers; they are more expensive than most of the entrees, and will fill you up too quickly. My favorite main course is a big plate of open-faced Street Tacos, five of them, done veggie-style by replacing the chicken or beef with crumbled black bean burger patties. Teri Hatcher had this to say about them: "They're real and they're fabulous." For dessert, get the Chocolate Coconut Pecan Tart and thank me later.

Good place to hang out and eat some decent food if you're in the Universal Area by Kirkman/Conroy I had a good time they had a stage set up out side playing tech house it was a saturday night, they we're celebrating colombia independence. Bar was a little slow but all in all was ok experience

Decided to finally give this place a try and WOW! Great service and the food was just as phenomenal. Got the yucca fries to start off. The seasoning is just right to make the real flavors stand out. I got the veggie burger with fries, the secret was guac sauce which was interesting. My dad got the lunch express cheeseburger. Looks like we found our new burger place! (Great beers as well)

Food was okay but management is just stupid. Had a groupon, told waitress before we ordered. Waitress reminded us that we had not spent all if our groupon money yet so we ordered dessert. Manager or owner comes over (larger man with british accent) and tells us he is sorry but tonight is a special event and they are not taking groupons. We explain that we told the waitress before we ordered. He proceeded to argue with us. Just a stupid way to run a business. If $15 is going to break them then I guess they have bigger issues. Still argued with us as he finally did us a "favor" and took the groupon. Food was a 3 but experience was a -2... So... one star.

Eh, just ok and very odd (not in a cool way). I was so excited to see a mostly outdoor pub/eatery pop up so close to home. My first go was with a few friends who had been before. The parmesan yucca fries were pretty good. My drink was delicious. Margaritas are so easy to mess up but this one was good. Second trip I had the chicken sloppy joe sliders. They tasted good then but later - bad decision. That night somehow my margarita was pink (?!) when I asked the server I was told that's the "blood"hound margarita. I suppose it was grenadine. It didn't change the taste of the drink but just odd. Third, and last trip in which I eat there. Did they have someone help with the opening food and leave after a few months? Just bland and boring with the same unwanted aftermath. Don't believe the pictures on the menu. As far as service goes - I've had worse but I've certainly had better. Everyone seems nice enough but not really attentive or able to predict events (like I'll need extra napkins and drink refills with the sloppy joes please - our on table napkin dispenser was empty) The atmosphere is weird. There is often a guy playing a very loud acoustic guitar and covering Taylor Swift songs. Good place to see a game if it happens to be the one they are highlighting. Never asked for a change but they are probably amenable to that. OK for a meeting place to enjoy some of the last weeks of nice weather this spring before the heat of summer descends. Meet here for a drink and head elsewhere for food. There are a couple of good options in the immediate area.

We were visiting town and being owners of two Bloodhounds we had to try it. We were not disappointed but did leave with mixed emotions. The restaurant has a huge beautiful deck and a non-descript inside restaurant. My issue with the outside was while sitting outside eating they brought out a Hooka pipe to a table next to us as we are eating dinner. So is it a restaurant or a Hooka lounge? The food was very good. We tried to Bloodhound rolls which were very tasty and the Fish and street tacos got rave reviews. In addition, the Chicken n Biscuits and burgers were big hits. The Bloodhound Burger was a very good blend. They had a band playing outside with multiple TV's. I just hope the owners decide what they are running.... a restaurant or a hookah lounge!

Came in for Sunday night football and was enjoying the night until I met the owner. I was informed that since we worked in the service industry that we were entitled to a discount. There was some confusion between the server and management because they were unveiling a new late night Menu that was service industry based (12-2). 50% off craft brews. Since we were there( group of six) and it was the first night they were unveiling the new discount the owner told us he was going to open it early for us but then charged us full price

It could be a pub with better than your average bar food... or you could call it a loud restaurant with a better than average beer selection. This place is near where I work. I've driven by and it looked fun - and I saw the menu online and it seemed interesting - so I bought a Groupon for them when it was available. SERVICE/ATMOSPHERE: Bloodhound Brew Pub seems like it'd be a fun place to come and watch a game. Lot's of good sized TVs close to the seats. They were not very busy when we got there and we were not sure whether we were supposed to wait for a hostess or seat ourselves - so we just sat down. It took a few minutes before anyone acknowledged us - but once someone spotted us - he provided good service throughout the rest of our dining and drinking experience. Management was friendly and the bus staff was attentive. FOOD/DRINKS: The selection of beers is great. There's plenty to choose from - at least 2 of each style you may enjoy - but not SO many that it becomes overbearing. I had my customary Fat Tire (newly available on draft in Florida). The menu has a lot of interesting selections and we had a hard time deciding. My wife ended up going with the shrimp and grits. I tasted it too and it was delicious. Just the right level of spice... a generous amount of shrimp... VERY rich meal... hard to finish in one sitting. I went for the Bloodhound Burger - an 8oz burger topped with Mac-n-cheese, havarti cheese, bacon and pineapple BBQ sauce. The burger itself was a little overcooked. I asked for medium and it seemed more like med-well to well... Also, the patty seemed a little thinner than most 8oz'ers that I've had. But I was super-hungry and didn't want to send it back. The burger had a good char flavor to it. The toppings were great. The combo of the mac-n-cheese and bacon and pineapple BBQ sauce gave it a sweet, creamy taste that made up for the overcooked burger. Overall... a good solid burger but not the best I've ever had. Their waffle fries have a LOT of flavor - just the right amount of seasoning - they were tasty! Our young daughter got the mac-n-cheese kid meal. Their mac-n-cheese by itself is delicious. I think she enjoyed it. OVERALL: We'd probably come back. I'd like to try some of the other items on the menu. I might get the shrimp-n-grits next time all to myself! I'd like to try their wings too... they looked huge. I would come watch a football or basketball game here. I saw other reviews that said "This place can't decide whether it's a bar or a restaurant" and that seems to be true - but I don't necessarily feel like that's a bad thing.

I purchased a groupon for Bloodhound Brew and since our daughter was at an event we decided to try it out for our date night. It happened to be their Halloween party night. We asked to sit inside (away from the party) and let our waitress know right away we would be using a groupon. After ordering our food they turned the music up so loud it was like being in a bar. I couldn't hear myself or my husband. Please note: we arrived at 6:45 and there were only 2 other tables. The football games were on all the tv's but you couldn't hear anything but the music. Had I not ordered I would have left then. It was so miserably loud! Finally they took mercy on the two remaining tables and turned the music down slightly. Still not enjoyable for game watching or dinner eating. I ordered the shrimp & grits as it had a blue ribbon by its name and that it was award winning. The flavor was good, but the grits were mushy. I expect award winning grits to be cooked properly. The bread looked like it would be tasty, but in reality it sucked all the moisture from your mouth. My husband ordered the bloodhound burger. I did not try it, but it looked big and juicy. He said it was pretty good. At this point I thought maybe I'll come back sometime and try a hamburger. We finished our meals and the waitress informed us that alcohol was not covered by the groupon and that we still had about $6, so would we like a dessert. We ordered the cheesecake. Before the cheesecake came out, the manager came to our table to tell us he could not honor the groupon because they were having a special event. I tried to explain, someone should have mentioned that before we ordered and ate our meal. He tried to convince us that we could come back another time and use the groupon. We explained that this really wasn't our scene, with the loud music and all and we really wanted to use our groupon tonight. We followed all the rules and no one mentioned until now that we couldn't use it. He continued yelling at us over the loud music and dressed in clown make up. He finally decided to honor our groupon by "doing us a favor." Had he not been such a total jerk we may have gone back. It's unfortunate that the manager felt his mistake, was my mistake. We won't be returning. The food was ok, but the manager was a jerk. They may need to decide if they want to be a bar or a restaurant.

Have to stop in local brewpubs wherever I go, so here I am. It's on Universal Blvd so that's the first indication of the quality and its part of an entertainment complex with video games, laser tag and bumper cars. Put that into a faux sports bar atmosphere and its not what I look for in a. Brewpub. The beer was ok. Only ok. Tried a few selections and none stand out, in fact one was actually bad. Can't remember now which. Burger was actually pretty good, and fish and chips as well.

Great atmosphere! There are happy hour specials twice a day and live music. The nachos appetizer is delicious. My family and I weren't fans of the street tacos but loved the Bloodhound Burger. I would come here every day just for the pineapple upside down cake!

I like the concept of preparing everything in the kitchen from scratch. It makes me feel like they are taking my grandma's approach at serving food for the fam...or in this case, to the masses. Their outside patio is just awesome. Like, wow. Big flat screens and fans to keep the air flowing. I could easily get my basketball on here. Their craft beer selection was pretty good as well. BUT the service. The service really is hit or miss. The first time, our hostess tried to sit 6 people at a 4 person table. Thank goodness our server helped us out and pushed over another table to give us some elbow room. The second time I came here, the hostess and servers were AWESOME. Very friendly and fun to chat with. Now the food....I have to say, anything that comes on a stick already has high expectations. Their chicken fried steak and biscuits all come out on a stick. And as far as flavor...move over Paula Deen...someone has a better fried recipe!! It seriously was ridiculous in two ways, flavor and size. The burgers are awesome. I mean, why just top a burger with cheese when you can just top it with Mac-n-Cheese!! (That's right, I said it....Mac-n-Cheese!!) This is probably my favorite burger. The Kingston is delicious. (Think Caribbean fruit with BBQ sauce...yummmm) and finally, I had the Tejano as well. Now, this one is super spicy. (And I can handle my ish when it comes to spice) I couldn't imagine eating the whole thing because it was just too spicy. (But hey, they say that on the menu) I think the last highlight for us was the Yucca fries....zoooommmyyyyGooooodddd!!! I think I found my new favorite fry that tops McDonalds!! They pile the Yucca fries on a sweet honey mustard sauce that you end up licking off your plate. (yes, me and good tasting food = no table manners) :) I'm glad I came back for a second time, because it was that visit that will keep me coming back. :)

This place has one of the better outside eating areas in Orlando. It's expansive, far enough from the street to not have a lot of traffic noise, and open enough that even the slightest breeze wafts through. The menu is a fairly broad array of sports bar food, plus a good selection of beers. Prices aren't low, but the lunch specials are a good deal, and can include a salad instead of fries. We tried the kielbasa and the sloppy joe with chicken, and both were good. The accompanying salad was actually really good. If you're in the mood for sports bar food, but want to sit outside, I'd check it out.

Tried Bloodhound recently for lunch and sat on the patio. They have a very reasonable lunch menu, most items under $10. I had the Cuban Sandwich with a salad on the site. Good service and great sandwich for a pub, portions were perfect. Looks like a great place to grab a beer for the after work crowd.

Wishing there was an option for zero stars... Looking for a quick bite Friday evening with the kids. We have driven by this place a lot and thought we would try it. First, my cider had a funky aftertaste- like the line was dirty. It was draft cider. My husband ordered Jose Quervo tequila, but when it came out it tasted like toilet water. Obviously, Jose Quervo is not top shelf, but it shouldn't have been that gross. Once we ordered our food ( which we were told was all made in house) it took :30 for our food to come out. THEN - I watched my burger go to a nearby table to be handled by the diner, then back to the kitchen, then out to me about :5 later. All of our food was lukewarm at best. The kids pizza (frozen) were barely warmed up. My burger was room temp. and my husband's cheesesteak was cold as well. We told the manager who listened to us then asked if he could warm it up for us! We said no, we just wanted him to be aware. He leaves for a few minutes, then comes back to tell us he "watched the video" and our food came straight to the table. I told him that I saw my food at an adjacent table and that it was far below a safe temperature of 140 degrees and he said he would give us 10% off. He actually was defending the food saying the video shows that it was hot! Unbelievable! We will never go back here. No redeeming qualities, except our server who was sweet. I hope she finds a better restaurant to work at!

My fiance and I came here last Saturday. He ordered the Mac n Cheese wings and I just got the brownie sundae dessert. His wings were burnt, and my dessert was not tasty at all. I didn't even finish the dessert ... that says something if I (the Chocoholic Queen) doesn't finish a dessert! I also ordered the strawberry mojito - the flavor was just ok (but you couldn't even taste an oz of liquor in it; did they put any in it?) The mojito was WAYYY overpriced; It was almost $8 (for that price I'd rather go somewhere like Bahama Breeze). The "30 craft beers" menu, only about 10 of them were available. The server was just ok. The outside area is nice; lots of TVs - so there's different sports you can watch. I won't be returning here, unless my fiance wants to go - just to grab a beer. But even then I'd rather go to Gators (it's the same type of atmosphere).

We had high-ish hopes for this new spot in Metrowest, but after reading the mixed reviews here, I was nervous. We didn't really have a very good time, and despite the food being pretty good, I don't think we'll be going back. First off, entering the building is super confusing. There were two different football games playing (very loudly) outside on the patio when we walked up, accompanied by screaming fans, and oddly enough, a live band. Okay then. Eventually we found a hostess who asked 'inside or outside' - we chose inside, hoping it would be quieter. It wasn't. The music from the band outside was being pumped into the inside area so loudly that we could barely hear each other at the table without screaming. When our waitress eventually showed up - it took a few minutes more than we're used to - she was pretty awkward. She came up to the table and yelled "HOWDY, PARTNERS!" When she realized that we weren't there for a super-party-atmosphere (which the place doesn't even have) she was like "Just kidding, they made me wear this hat and say that because we have this cowboy thing next week." No one else was wearing a cowboy hat, but whatever. Beyond her awkwardness, she didn't know the menu at all, and offered one of the members of our party a drink special that she didn't know the details of or what information she had to take from him regarding what liquor he wanted. Great. She pretty much avoided us until our food came out. We also had to ask for silverware because the hostess didn't bring it and the waitress never realized that we didn't have any. Everyone who was working when we were there seemed pretty lackluster, actually - I got the feeling that management doesn't really enforce any rules, all of the servers were checking their phones or grouped together chatting more than they were checkin on customers. The food was pretty good - yummy burgers (big, too), and the coconut shrimp were great. We did think they were slightly overpriced, especially considering I can get better, faster service at Five Guys just down the road for way cheaper and still have my hearing in tact when I'm done eating. We told our waitress before eating how we were splitting the check (two people on one, two people on the other, not that confusing) but she forgot and somehow managed to process the full check as cash even though we were paying with cards. This required about twenty minutes of confusion as, according to our waitress, no one working knew how to fix it. Awesome. Overall, it was a pretty awful experience. On the food alone, I'd probably give them four stars, but the experience was just so bad that the food isn't worth it.

Heard about the food here and how wonderful it is, so I decided to try it for myself! Oh man!!! It was incredible I recommend any of the drinks because they are all amazing, and the bloodhound burger, who knew you could get away with Mac and cheese on a burger! It was heavenly! So are the yuca fries I need to know what was in the honey mustard!

Love the outdoor dining and the vibe of this place as was pretty impressed with their beer selection. And I really wanted to love the food... But I didn't. I'm not a vegetarian, but love vegetarian food. And theirs was not so good. I got a veggie burger that was fine, but tasted a little meh. The fries were the best thing about the meal. My friend got the veggie sausage and it was practically inedible. It was hard as a rock. Decent flavor, but he had to send it back because it was so difficult to chew and cut. The only reason I'm giving this three stars instead of two is because I definitely see myself going back to drink and have a few bar snacks. But I will be viewing their menu from the "drunk munchie" perspective, and not while wearing my foodie shades.

Went here last night for dinner and drinks. They just recently opened a few days ago, so a few "kinks" were still being worked out. Overall, nice looking venue. There is outdoor porch seating on both sides, with indoor seating and the bar in the middle. On the front porch there is shuffleboard and skee-ball, and flat screen TV's throughout the venue. They have live music every night, and happy hours twice daily (though I wasn't able to tell what the happy hour specials really were). The food was great! We ordered the mac and cheese wings as an appetizer (only complaint is they seem a little expensive for 10 wings), and for our entrees we had the Fried Chicken and Biscuits and the Meatball Sub. A good portion of the entrees come with Mac and Cheese as a side, which was good..but not fantastic. Only thing that really disappointed me were the waffle fries- nothing impressive there, maybe even a little sub-par. Major complaint was the service, which was horrendous..but seemed to only be our serveer. We spoke to the manager about it, and she made it right though. Hopefully it was a one-time fluke due to it just opening. The drink menu is primarily their craft beer list, which had about 30 drinks on it. We ordered two different "speciality" drinks off their menu....both needed a little work, one had to be sent back to the bar. All in all, cool venue that I think has a lot of promise once they get up and running for a while.

As a new neighborhood restaurant, I was pretty impressed. Yes, they have a few kinks, but over all, not bad. Their management was very open to constructive communication. The server didn't seem very well trained on the menus. The food was very good and large portions. I would say that you defiantly get your money's worth. Taco's are excellent. Learned that all their sauces and dressings are made from scratch. All brews are from local breweries. Worth checking out!

Have you seen the "pub" take over? It seems like every eating destination in Orlando has a new shiny pub to it's list of residents. In short the pub is loosely considered a neighborly watering hole. Old World British establishments were of beers and ales with frosted glass windows to block out passersby. Not so much at BloodHoundBrew. This shiny new zinc roofed building is the extension of an existing building. The remodeled structure add more square footage indoors and out. An expansive open patio wraps the front and back of the building with interior back lit red and blue walls creating a very sheek look. There is live entertainment from PowerGrid Band, outdoor and indoor bars, comfortable indoor chairs and high tops outside. The classic rock band is a bunch of guys from the hospitality industry. They rock out!The slight dip in temperature for us warm blooded Floridian types drags out several huge outdoor heaters. The only thing frosty here is the beer. Modern pubs take food to a whole new height. The chef at Blood Hound Brew combines yuca, chorizo, BBQ, and plantains for starters, salads, burgers, street foods and full blown entrees'. As in any pub worth it's malt, there are several selections of craft and bottled beers, most of them locally brewed right here in Florida. Of course there is a full liquor bar to dazzle with the back lit wall. There is a very neighborly feel considering it is at the entrance to swanky Dr. Phillips, Windermere, Metrowest, and Millenia. Hound Shanks - Glazed pork ribs. Fall of the bone tender. Nice balance of acidity and sweetness. No stand out flavors. Nice touch of onion straws. Tostones - flattened fried plantains, chimichurri chicken, onion straw slaw, and melted cheese with zesty rojo sauce. Looks a little messy, but well balanced flavors. Shipyard Pumpkin Head Beer - Had a full mouth feel of pumpkin and spice flavors. Medium bodied with broad finishes. Hurricane Reef Caribbean Pilsner - Medium light bodied with subtle barley flavors. Service is prompt and generous, with the patio being a little more relaxed than the interior. This establishment has definitely struck a cord with balancing what the neighborhood demands and the current trends in food. It can be said, "This is not your grandfather's pub."

It only gets three because the staff. Great outdoor seating and the food was good too. We sat down and ordered our drinks to watch a football game. Our server ended up leaving around half time and we cashed out with her and she said she would have someone else come over to help us out. That never happened. We spent the next thirty minutes trying to waive a server down. They where all to busy sitting down and chatting with their friends. We finally got up and walked up to a waiter and said we needed help and that we had been sitting and trying to flag someone down. He was more interested in who left us then helping. He walked away and said he would send someone over. 15 minutes later a waitress showed up and said sorry for letting us sit there. It wasn't her fault though she was working the other half of the restaurant. I'm not saying don't try because you should. It's not a bad place I just happened upon at the wrong time with the wrong staff. With so many restaurants in the area this one will never get a second chance with me.

Great food, excellent beer selection. Try the fried chicken, some of the best I've ever had. Same with the Cuban sandwich.

Beer selection is good. Unfortunately, service is slow and food is average, at best. Our server neglected to tell us about the Happy Hour specials, but put one in for us after happy hour ended anyway (would have still been happy hour when we started looking for her). We would have been better off if she hadn't. the bruschetta was an extremely weak effort. My buffalo chicken wrap was ok, but nothing great. This is defiantly not a destination restaurant, but might be ok to have a couple beers and some average bar food to watch a game.

ok yelpers, so i have specific places for specific foods and i come here for their Tostones with chicken and spicy diablo sauce, its finger licking good, NO really, lick your fingers!! any way guess what??? they are out so i am force to try something new. and i chose the grill wings coconut shrimp and garlic parmesan yucca fries yes i am very hungry plus i am not alone , all 3 were good choices, yuca was nice and tender, shrimp was a good size and fry well and the wings where grill, but for how quick they came out WE know frying was involved somewhere but that's ok we don't mind. all that said there is one BIG change and is for the worse, Dogs are no longer allow, why? only service dogs are allow. My dog provides a huge service in my life.

On a recent vacation to Orlando, my family and I were looking for a cool bar to watch Monday night football and this place fit the bill. We originally showed up for a drink and to catch the end of a set that my brother's friend was playing and wound up staying there for the night. Their drink specials were so affordable as were their craft beers, which were from 3.99 and 4.99 and up (not many were to far up). In addition, we tried their nachos and had some of their little tacos and really enjoyed them. They had fresh jalopenos chopped up on almost everything, which we loved, and it added a nice bit of heat. The service we had was top notch as well. Our waitress was very attentive and conversational without being over bearing. Our drinks were always full and we left with an overall great experience. The fact that it is outside too is always a plus. Next time I'm in the area I will be back to visit this bar again.

I like the feel of this place,.. I am a dog lover and any place where dogs are welcome I really enjoy! WE visited on an afternoon when there were a couple big games going on. It was loud, but that comes with the territory. I had an awesome cuban sandwich and hubby had the street tacos. We were both very happy. Great place to find craft beer as well!!

Might have found a new hangout! We actually visited Bloodhound Brew twice this past weekend because we liked it so much! Once on Friday for happy hour (we just had a few beers) and then once again Sunday night for pre-season football, beer and food. I wasn't sure what to expect as far as the quality of food but everything we had was awesome! We stared off with Coconut shrimp and a side of waffle fries and then had a steak and cheese sandwich with more waffle fries and a side of mashed potatoes. Was not disappointed at all!! They have a great craft beer selection on tap as well. The staff was also friendly which is always a plus! Happy hour is from 3-7 and then again from 10-2am every day of the week! I can't remember exactly what it consisted of...Something like $1 off craft beers $3 captain drinks $5 jameson drinks. Don't quote me on that but that's what I remember. There were a few more drink specials too but nothing on food unfortunately. They had live music both days we went. Friday there was a guy playing an acoustic set which I really liked and then on Sunday they had a band playing Rastafa (sp?) which was okay..not really my kind of thing. There are two patios. One has a shuffleboard table (which I was really excited to find since there are not a lot of places around with a table), and some skee ball games (can't remember if there was one or two) and a bar. This was also the patio that the live music had set up on. The other patio has a pool table and a dart board. No bar on this one but there is a big bar inside. There was also a putting green on the side of the restaurant. They have the NFL Network and a lot of tv's which will make it a great place to watch football this season!

The selection of craft beers was fantastic I had the Bloodhound Burger for dinner. It was absolutely amazing and was almost too much food. Very unique ingredients and taste. Had the cheesecake for dessert and was blown away once again. It was fantastic. The service was great even after it became pretty busy. Awesome experience over all. Definitely will be back!

Went to Bloodhound last night for the first time with a coworker, and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. Don't let the name fool you--Bloodhound's is NOT a dive bar. It's honestly the exact opposite, with a modern, relaxed craft beer sort of feel to it. There is a wide selection of beers and cider compared to your average bar, and the patio area is about just as large as the inside dining area. Definitely a great place to go on the weekend and hang out and listen to a band play on the patio. As far as the food is concerned, I haven't yet had a chance to try anything yet but I have to say that from what I saw it looks delicious. Will certainly end up here again soon.

Recently made trip to Orlando for business and heard about this new restaurant . Cute place but don't eat there. Food on par of a frozen food joint. Chicken tasted like rubber and the fish just smelled awful . just pushed it around as with people who just drank. Think if I would of got drunk I would of given this pace 2 stars as I probably wouldn't of remembered how awful the food was. Terrible place

Visited for lunch on a weekday. It was pretty empty but we got there before noon. They have lunch specials that are $7.99 which include a drink. Most of the rest of the menu was a bit high for lunch. I had the fried chicken sandwich with yucca fries. Nothing really special, but good. Another person in our party had the fried chicken and liked it. Another got one of the burgers and said it was pretty good. I saw that his patty had the look of a frozen burger (perfectly shaped on the edges). I'll ask about that before I try one. Our server was attentive and pleasant but the kitchen was slow. We were pretty much the first people in for lunch but had to wait a long time for our meal. We'll go back and give it another try. If they can figure out how to move things along in the kitchen, I think it will make it might make it onto our short list of lunch options.

I really wanted this place to be fabulous, and it has potential, but sadly I was a pretty disappointed. First of all I know this place is very new and probably has some kinks to work out. Unfortunately most of the issues I had aren't kinks that will be worked out. The positives: very cool indoor/outdoor seating with lots of tv's to watch a variety of sporting events. I see some other reviews cite poor service. Our service may have been a tad on the slow side (nothing outrageous) but our server was friendly and welcoming. The negatives: Pricing. All we ordered were the Bloodhound rolls which were $17. They were tiny little mini-eggroll type things and there were maybe 10 of them. The menu says they're "Imported chorizo sausage, cream cheese, roasted scallions in a flaky crust". My friends and I all agreed that we were prrrrrrrrretty sure the "chorizo" was a slim jim. They were "meh" at best. And for $17 it could certainly qualify as a rip-off. Besides that, the $20 appetizer sampler or $12 burgers just didn't have us thinking that this is a place we need to come back to. Also, if you were told that they have $1 drafts for happy hour, as my friends were told, they don't. It's actually $1 OFF drafts. Lastly, I'm still not sure what their happy hour hours are. A few things said 3-7 and some said 4-7. That's not a huge issue, but some consistency would be great.

From the moment I walked through the door, I knew this place would be my new hangout. Flat screens everywhere, craft beer, AMAZING FOOD. I became really close with the staff, they are super fun and are really friendly. I live in Lake Mary and I drive here a few times a week. If you haven't been here yet, you should!!!!

Went a few nights ago for the first time. Was hoping for great food, but next what I got. Service was slow and almost non-exsistent. The food was not the quality I expected, the mussels were amazing, but that's about it.

This place has the trifecta of horrible food, terrible service, and piss poor management. We came with a party of 11. 4 people got their food 35 minutes before another 6 entrees came out. The final entree came out another 10 minutes later. The mussels tasted like freezer rot and the grits were soaked in a full stick of butter. It was truly the worst meal I've had in years and I am hopeful I don't get food poisoning. Barf. I did totally dominate at shuffleboard. Yep, they have shuffleboard, thus the 1 star.

So my first experience with this place was pretty crap, but tonight I thought I'd give it a second chance in case it was a fluke. It was apparently not. Terrible service, cold atmosphere, overpriced food. When he bothered to notice me, the bartender either didn't know how or didn't care to pour my Guinness properly even though there were only 6 people at the bar. He spoke to 2 of these people about crazy college antics including flashing sluts, bj's, and keg stands...and as interesting as this was, it didn't make up for the absolute lack of attention he paid to the other 4 people at the bar. My boyfriend and I have both been bartenders and make it a point to tip generously (30% is our usual) and this was the first time in a really long time we actually left less. Oh and the shrimp and grits left my boyfriend with bubble guts...he took a box home and ended up throwing it away for fear of getting more sick. Won't waste my time going back again.
