You gotta love ice cream if your gonna come here! Me and the hubby decided to get something sweet and a little something salty to tie us over before dinner later in the evening. So we decided to come here to beaches and cream. We made our reservation and were sat about 10-15 minutes after. We got in and ordered a chili dog with fruit to split and the "mini sink". The chili dog was your standard beef hot dog and the watermelon fruit was fresh. However what made it great was that our awesome server was kind enough to split everything in two on separate plates before bringing to the table. That was soo kind of her! Our ice cream sundae was gigantic! I almost couldn't finish it but it had caramel, peanut butter, fudge, Oreo cookies(which were fresh, not stale) and some fudgey brownies. Lots of whip cream and some cherries on top. We really enjoyed ourselves here. The restaurant is very small, not good for groups bigger than 4-6 however it can probably be done if you're willing to wait. We will definitely we going back :-)

If you get a hotel drink mug, its UNLIMITED drinks. Woo hoo baby! There is nothing like having a cool drink right outside of the famous Beach Club pool. Beaches & Cream Soda Shop is just that, it's fashioned after a 50's style soda shop with ice cream. Man oh man is there ice cream! They serve something called "The Kitchen Sink" its a huge sundae with 5 spoons. They dim the lights and make a fuss when you order it (Sorry, I won't. I don't like too many spoons in my plate if ya know what I mean) The burgers are also on the high side, $15 bucks is kinda steep! If your on the dining plan, you can use a snack credit for an ice cream sandwich. There is always a line, be prepared to wait. Cheers!

The ice cream tastes just how it looks. Way to nail something easy! I got some chocolate cake thing and it was really good. My lady got this peanutbutter banana bread item that was magical. Her qoute is "the best thing ive ever had at Disney". This is a strong statement considering we've eaten lost of great tasting things at the parks. We are AP holders and have a ton of exp at lots of Disney foods. Also onion rings were really good too if your craving onion rings. Random but worth it. Staff was awesome too which makes for a great exp.

This place is TINY!! I can't even believe how small it is. We came here with our party of 6 and were seated at the counter after about a 1 hr wait. We had a toddler with us so this was somewhat uncomfortable for the little one. The food was good, the service was crappy. The short order chef served us our food because our waiter just left it sitting there. My hubby had the patty melt and he enjoyed it, I had the turkey sandwich that comes with cranberries and 'jalapeños'. It was not spicy at all, but it was good though. Overall, it was a good experience, but the size and service make it a less than desirable place to dine on Disney property.

OMG this place is so good!! Small, only about 9 actual tables and a bunch of seats at the bar. My reservation was at 810pm I showed up at 808pm and I was seated over 30 mins past my arrival time. I was then seated promptly once my buzzer went off. Brian was my server and he greeted me within a few minutes of sitting down. I had the grilled cheese and tomato bisque....Wow...good!!! Brian suggested that along with the fried banana bread sandwich with ice cream....mm mmmmm mmmm. Dinner was pleasant, I was never rushed or felt uncomfortable. Brian even took a selfie with me at the end. Great visit...will bring family back.

we didn't make reservations and we tried to walk in. well, we waited for 30-40 minutes to be seated. this particular day waiting was fine because we all were too tired to drive any where to eat dinner. we ordered grill cheese with soup, kids pasta, and ruben with onion rings. all the food items were a solid 4 star. the best part was the prices which were very reasonable! we enjoyed our brownie a la mode for dessert! we enjoyed our service when she was present. each time we needed something we had to wave her down and wait a few minutes for her to arrive. when she was present she did a great job. we had a few empty soda cups waiting to be refilled. our bill for 2 adults and 1 kids meal before tip was $49. it was an enjoyable experience.

Love this place! Awesome burgers and ice cream. Ambiance is wonderful as well. I wish they were bigger and it was easier to get in to eat here.

GET. THE. KITCHEN. SINK. Except go with like 4 other people. Because Mickey knows you can't finish it with 3 people... I tried. Trust me, it's painful. It physically hurts to try and finish. As a Cast Member, I recommend reserving at disneyworld.disney.go.co… in order to secure a seat. Be VERY specific on how many people will be there when creating your reservation. Nothing sucks more than craving ice cream and not being able to sit because it's completely booked. The service is just as Disney as it gets: exceptional and fun. When you come in a group, Cast Members assist you and immediately ask "Getting the Kitchen Sink, right?" UM YES WE ARE. Once you order the behemoth ice cream mountain, sirens go off throughout the entire shop to let all the guests know you're attempting to conquer that said mountain and setting up camp at the peak. But wait, don't tell everyone in the shop my group & I are about to eat this thing that has an entire can of whipped cream and then echo it once more. No, I don't wanna look fat! It is such a great time with Cast Members and The Kitchen Sink is an amazing experience in itself. The different cakes underneath all that ice cream, with brownies, whipped cream, cherries, were probably fashioned from a shop in Wonderland. I mean, that's how amazing this is.

Went after long day at the parks had the No Way Jose its dialed in. Burgers are fifteen bucks which is excessive even for Disney standards. Also do not buy the "mini" kitchen sink its $24.00 and you get the EXACT same thing at the Magic Kingdom for $15.00. But fun little I repeat little diner. If you got what it takes to finish the real kitchen sink my hat is off to Ya.

Bar none, the best grilled cheese in the world. Disney World. I always have to go at least once when we're at Disney. Fortunately, we are there quite a bit! My husband enjoys their pork belly Cuban sandwich and the chili. Of course, we always get dessert. We always split something yummy and were only disappointed once. The grilled banana bread sounded delish on paper, but in reality, it was just blah. It's fun to watch folks that order the Kitchen Sink. During our last visit, it was a family of four. Two adults, and two kids under 6. The kids barely put a dent in it. But kudos to mom & dad that polished the entire thing off! Service has always been great and we have never had trouble getting a table. Then again, we never go during peak times.

Ok we loved the turkey sandwich onion rings and of course kitchen sink_ fabulous place but loud and small, go off time not so cramped.

Absolutely love the ice cream. The dinner was good too. I had the mickeys kitchen sink and it was soooooo good. That is a must eat in Disney world. The resort is pretty cool too. The pool is huge so u can sit by the pool and eat ice cream. The sodas re the same as today times. Cola floats are really good Come and enjoy some nice refreshing way to cool off in disney

We went to Beaches & Cream Soda Shop to have one thing- the kitchen sink! Let me tell you.... totally worth it. It is a bit pricey, $29, but there is SO much. We split it between four people. When you order it, they turn the lights off and flashing lights come on. They make a big announcement to the customers in the shop. The staff was extremely friendly (I mean, it is Disney, but still) and super awesome to talk with. The shop itself is small, so I recommend a reservation. It is pool side, so the perfect location to lay out in the sun, get heated then cool off with an ice cream.

I loved this place for comforting diner food! Going here was based solely on the ice cream offerings, but the actual lunch was good too. I had a cuban sandwich and my husband had a grilled cheese and tomato soup. My sandwich came with onion rings which were hearty. But, I saved myself for dessert! We had the "No Way Jose" which could be totally replicated at home (chocolate ice cream, vanilla ice cream, peanut butter sauce, chocolate sauce, whipped cream, PB chips on top), but there's something about eating it at Beaches and Cream, where the atmosphere is fun and colorful, like a 1960s diner. I considered the Kitchen Sink for a brief moment, but knew it would be too much for us, however at least 4 families had it while we were there. We made a reservation for lunch which is recommended if this is on your must do list. It's a super small place for Disney World.

It gets three stars due to nostalgia - the food isn't great and never has been, but I absolutely LOVE eating in there. Beaches and Cream was the very first place I ever ate at when I handled the check myself, at 12. Burgers, dogs, grilled cheeses and fries are the exact same as you'll get at any Disney stand for more money, but the service is great and the novelty of the restaurant is worth it. The Kitchen Sink is overpriced but worth trying at least once.

First off: I've eaten a kitchen sink with a few other adults. The experience was fun but NOT one I'd repeat as all the flavors kind of combine into something less than the sum of its parts. I highly, highly recommend going there only for the No Way Jose, which is one of the best sundaes anywhere. People rave about the burgers, which is something I don't understand at all. This is no Five Guys or even In-n-Out. It's the same quality you'd get at any diner off property, which is to say below-average for a burger joint, but definitely better than the burgers you'd find at Cosmic Ray's Cafe in Tomorrowland. It's not worth waiting an hour to eat here, and that's the biggest problem. Capacity at the place is atrocious compared to demand. I've eaten here a half dozen times and don't think I've ever waited less than 30 minutes, even when trying to go during off hours. During dinner time, forget about it. The Beach Club needs to expand this venue or build another quick service restaurant. However, they serve No Way Jose's at the walk-up counter. That would be my recommendation. A tip: if they see two reservations for the same name, they'll try to combine the tables when it comes time to seat you. This is how you can get a reservation for 6+ when none are available using the online reservation system.

Very small restaurant. Burgers were good. Fries and onion rings weren't anything special. Where thus place shines is in their deserts. Excellent sundaes. Don't pass them by.

This is now a must visit restaurant during every trip for us. Didn't make reservations but got there just after opening so we were able to walk in and get a seat. The atmosphere is very nice (50s diner). My wife had the grilled cheese and tomato bisque soup which was amazing. I had the hot dog, which was a hot dog, which was good and my daughter had the kids Mac n cheese. Which me and my wife helped her it. It was good as well. But the main reason we went. ICE CREAM! We had the Mini Mickey Sink (kitchen sink in a souvenir Mickey Mouse pants kitchen sink bowl. Vanilla chocolate strawberry ice cream topped with everything from peanut butter, brownies, Oreo cookies, chocolate syrup, strawberry, pineapple and sprinkles. YUM! The staff was great (it's disney so that's a given). My only hesitation is the price, but when the place is attached to a resort that costs $500/night that's to be expected. As I said. This place is on our to do list every trip. Note: we walked here from epcot via the international gateway exit. Short walk. Maybe 5-10mins from epcot. But taking in the beautiful views of the resort (yacht and beach club) as well as the scenery was pleasant.

This place was awesome! As a Orlando local I am always not a fan of Disney restaurants but this is a special place! Make sure you make a reservation and even then you may wait a few minutes but it is worth it! When you walk in it looks like an old fashioned ice cream parlor with counter service and take out in another area. My daughter and I shared the grilled cheese and tomato bisque soup! It was amazing ! Matthew B our friendly , very organized server split the lunch in two for us and it was the perfect amount! The grilled cheese per Matthew b has five different cheeses and it delivers this creamy gooey richness and the bread is lightly toasted and buttered making to me the perfect grilled cheese! They serve it with a tomato bisque which he split as well and allowed for perfect dipping! My parents split the turkey sandwich and they both thoroughly enjoyed it! Now the finale! We had heard about the kitchen sink but today it was my daughters birthday and she has been wanting to check this off her bucket list for a while! What is the kitchen sink? It is 8 scoops of ice cream with every topping beaches and cream has as well a whole container of whipping cream lots of cherries a candy bar , brownie and cake all put out in a kitchen sink! It was amazing! If it's your birthday they dim the lights out on some sirens and introduce you as a birthday . My daughter loved it ! For Disney prices this is affordable as well! For 28.99 for ice cream and the grilled cheese which we split was 9.99 if your looking for a unique experience and don't want to go out to the parks take a day make a reservation and head to beaches and cream!

Beaches and Cream was a complete surprise on our visit to Walt Disney World. The food, desserts, and atmosphere were truly amazing. It is worth a trip to the Yacht and Beach Club just to experience this restaurant. I highly recommend getting a reservation. When we visited, there was an hour and a half wait just for quick service. The frozen sunshine drink was truly delicious and the "no way Jose" sundae was a perfect ending to the meal. Don't let the name fool you, Beaches and Cream is a fantastic restaurant with fun theming and amazing food. Please make a point to visit it on your next Walt Disney World vacation!

I have seen great reviews about this and pictures of the famous "kitchen sink", so here are at Disney Beach Resort. Make sure you save a LOT of room for dessert, they have huge portions. An announcement is made every time a "kitchen sink" is ordered. LOVE THIS PLACE.

Had the Reuben and wife had the patty melt. Both were very good. Followed up with the strawberry shortcake which was 4 stars. Cute diner very limited seating. Service was good. Four stars out of five due to lack of seating & a little cramped.

Good place to either sit-down and eat or get ice cream on the run. We stopped by for some ice cream. My daughter had a scoop of vanilla, I had a scoop of coffee ice cream, and my wife had the hot fudge sundae. The ice cream was good. My wife prefers Ghirardelli sundaes at Downtown Disney, but said that the B&C one was still tasty. B&C is located in between the Yacht and Beach Club resorts and is a short walk from Epcot. There is a "to-go" counter where we waited for a few minutes. Although the "to-go" menu is a smaller version of the regular B&C menu, they were able to get my wife the "off-menu" hot fudge sundae. While we waited, we saw the lights go down and a HUGE sundae being served to a table for the next sink challenge. There is also a smaller version of the sink...the "mini Mickey sink" that we could have done with the three of us, but my wife and daughter weren't ready for that. One thing I noticed is that a single scoop of ice cream costs more than the double scoop you can get in the Magic Kingdom. Must be the resort pricing... We will return, hopefully next time for a sink challenge. Recommended.

I'm "that person" who had always dreamed about going to Beaches & Cream and ordering the famous kitchen sink. I think I saw it on a Food Network special a few years back. I found myself in Orlando in March of this year and convinced some of my family to meet me there. The Bad: Not necessarily the bad, but the "be prepared." You need reservations! We arrived late, maybe at 10pm and we were told they couldn't fit us in. They do have outside tables and you can order everything BUT the kitchen Sink to take togo. But I begged an pleaded and was SUPER nice to the host/hostess cast members and they were able to squeeze us in at the counter! Phew! Disaster averted. So, if you're dreaming about that Kitchen Sink like I was, please remember to make reservations! The Awesome: The Kitchen Sink delivered in a BIG way! There were 6 of us, 2 of whom are boys in high-school (we all know how much they can eat!) and it was plenty. Super fun to split with a big group! And they deliver it with all the pomp and circumstance that you would expect! Truly a one of a kind experience. Would be perfect as a Birthday celebration!

I went with my siblings for one purpose and one purpose only: to eat the Kitchen Sink! I saw in the menu that it is meant for four people which we had, two of which were guys so I was confident we could finish it. The shop turns down the lights and announces you are about to take on the Kitchen Sink challenge. We went to it and finished the whole thing! I could have done without the the pineapple chunks (doesn't really mix well with coffee or mint chocolate chip ice cream) but otherwise it tasted good and we were able to finish before it turned into a hodge podge of miscellaneous toppings and ice cream. Come hungry and with your stretchy pants, the Kitchen Sink is worth it!

Best ice cream shop in the area, but it is tiny and not easy to get a table. The food is really good (a touch on the greasy side, but that's exactly what I want from a place like this) and the sundaes are to die for. Fun and relaxed atmosphere is perfect for those who are on vacation, or just want to feel that way for an hour or so. The logistics could use a little work, however. For a place so small, you'd think they'd work hard to turn over tables but service is usually pretty slow. It is almost impossible to get a table without a reservation, but every time I eat there I notice tables that sit empty forever. Disney usually runs a tight ship, but there's a lack of efficiency here. Make a reservation, bring a big appetite, and pack your patience and you'll be ready for a great B&C experience!

The food and desserts at this restaurant are delicious! It's like going back in time to an old school soda shop! Everything we had was delicious. The shakes and ice cream are to die for. The bad is you NEED reservations. It gets very busy and crowded. If you don't have reservations sometimes you can get seated at the bar or you can get something off their to-go menu.

We had cookies and cream and the couple we were with had strawberry cheesecake on a hot, humid day. Their cheesecake was very good. The cookies and cream I've had similar elsewhere.

I love this place. It's a great place to grab dessert after a long day, or even an affordable dinner. They serve sandwiches and hamburgers. They have a great theme as well, sort of like a 1950's diner, ice cream, soda shop theme, as the name implies. There is one great dessert here called the kitchen sink. If my memory serves me, you can get every scoop of ice-cream in the shop, plus all the toppings, and a whole can of whip cream all in a giant bowl that is shaped like a kitchen sink! They also have an incredible peanut butter dessert call the No Way Jose, that is to die for. Though if you're a peanut butter fan, like me, you might want to order extra peanut butter, because they can be a little skimpy. If you aren't in the mood for a sit down meal, you can order togo ice cream from their walk up bar. This restaurant has a bar, inside, and outside tables for seating. They also take reservations, which I recommend because this place can get busy. If the weather is nice, why not request a table outside near the pool? The pool is very nice and it even has sand in it! If you are in the Resort area, this place is not to be missed, especially for dessert!

Most Excellent! Great for hot fudge Sundae's, and all around ice cream. I had the BEST grilled cheese sandwich in my entire life here! Also, they celebrate each guest birthday, anniversary, etc., so the celebration SIREN must have gone off at least three times when we were here for dinner! Great take in, great ice cream, reasonably priced, and fun for all ages!

Ok...so it's a cute diner with nice staff. We visited July 7th 2014 (Monday), at about 7pm. We had a 10 minute wait for 5 people and were sat at the counter. The food was pretty good. I got the grilled cheese (plus a tomato slice) and tomato bisque soup. I really enjoyed it. 1 person got a hot dog with sauerkraut, cheese and chili and loved it. 1 person got the burger and liked it. There shakes are DELICIOUS! Mint choco chip and butter pecan!!!! Mmmmm.... 1 person got the Cuban, they liked it, I tried it and actually spit it out!! It had a strange taste! Not sure if it was a type of pickle used or what. But watch out for ordering your beer! On the menu it says u get a 16 ounce bottle. She gave us a 12 ounce can! We pointed this out to her and she was surprised. She said they did not have bottles. She asked her manager (who we never saw), and came back to say it was a misprint! Well, they did not offer any adjustments or anything. But if they know it's a misprint, they should train the servers to point it out when someone orders the beer.

Love this place. It's an old school ice cream parlor inside a Disney Resort, what more could you want? We came to visit this place at a friend's recommendation and were not disappointed. The decor is very cute with ice cream cone lights on the wall and staff dressed in light colored dresses and slacks with suspenders. They even have a jukebox! My sister and I came with friends but weren't very hungry for sweets and decided to split the mudslide. This thing was huge! It comes with the brownie at the bottom of the ice cream glass covered in fudge, ice cream, whip cream, and to strategically placed Oreos to resemble the Mickey ears with a cherry on top. My sister and I struggled to eat it between the two of us. We also noted a table beside us who had a children's ice cream ordered. It was adorable with the ice cream shaped to resemble Mickey's head and mouth with a cherry for the nose and two Oreos for ears. *If I was a kid I would have gone nuts over this. The service was great as to be expected from any Disney location but I will note that the establishment is rather small so it's highly recommended that you make reservations.

Brian was our fabulous waiter and we enjoyed the patty melt (divine) and the grilled cheese and tomato soup combo. For dessert we had the banana bread and I team dessert with peanut butter which was the highlight of our meal

The pork belly Cuban sandwich is amazing as it's their grilled cheese and tomato bisque. The service is actually not good at all. The hostess, Cassandra, will leave tables empty for 35 minutes while people are waiting to sit down, we experienced this twice both times while Cassandra was working the hostess stand.

With reservations, we waited 20 minuets past our 6:40 time slot. Our server was friendly, and the dessert came out right away. We decided to only come for the dessert due to the many reviews about how plain the food was. I decided to order fries to dip in my ice cream and they didn't arrive till 15 minutes after our dessert. The soda shop is extremely small and loud. The servers are constantly moving so no room for personal service. Either way, it was a fun and different experience.

We are in Orlando now and wanted a kitchen sink, as we have had before. We had planned an afternoon for Beaches and Cream and went to the yacht club. Right from the start, the guard out front was extremely rude to us. I was surprised, as this is not the Disney way! When we arrived at Beaches and Cream, the hostess tells us that we need a reservation. We asked if we could put our name on a list and she stated that we could sit at the counter in 30-40 minutes. We told her that we wanted a kitchen sink and she says sarcastically that we can sit at the counter and get the kitchen sink. We pointed out that there were 4 of us and we can't share a kitchen sink at the counter. I then asked if we could make a reservation and she said that we had to call Disney Dining to make one. This whole experience was disappointing to say the least! A reservation for ice-cream?? Preposterous! Come on Disney.. Can you make this any more difficult to get an ice-cream?!?

This place was a surprise all around. Expecting it to be simply and ice cream shop, I was delighted to learn they served dinner food as well - maybe not steak and lobster, but the stuff you find at your local sports bar - but much better. We started our experience by looking at their very small menu - there's not a lot to choose from where food is concerned (or even dessert for that matter), but it's all about quality, not quantity (so to speak) here at the soda shop. I had their Cuban pork sandwich where my wife had their big burger. The friends we went with tried deli sandwiches - everything all around was prepared well, came out hot where it had too and was really to big to finish (but I polished my sandwich off anyway.) Now, dessert - there were a few things to go with but being that my name is José, I had to go for their "No Way José" Sundae. It looked big, so my wife and I shared it - making short order of that beast - it was the perfect ending to a very good experience. The wait staff and our waitress was particularly friendly. In particular, our waitress had a knack for knowing our names, some how, even before we told her. Not sure how she did it, but it did add to some of the fun we had here.

Beaches and Cream is delicious! We went on our last trip and loved it! Made a reservation for 7:35pm. Were seated right at that time. I ordered the Reuben and a coke float. The Reuben was FANTASTIC. Everyone else in our party got burgers with fries or onion rings and shakes and everyone really enjoyed it. Atmosphere is great and super cute! We didn't get dessert this time but have in the past and the sundaes were fantastic as well! Next time we will have to try the kitchen sink! Overall awesome! Make sure you have a reservation though or else you probably won't get in. But they do have a takeout side for ice cream if worse comes to worse :)

The Kitchen Sink...well it's is big but not as big as I thought and is really a huge grab bag of you never know what you are going to get. With everything in the store covered in whipped cream you are throwing darts at the wall for what your mouth will experience. It was 5 of us and we put a big dent in the ice cream but the last bit ended up melting as we lost interest in the intrigue. Overall tasty and fun and worth the trip.

My husband and I didn't have park tickets for our first day at Disney World during our last trip. We had always heard great things about B&C so we decided to finally try it out. I was urged by another Disney fan friend to make an advanced dining reservation (ADR) because it fills fast. We thankfully snagged one pretty close to leaving for our trip for 2:30pm for lunch. We arrived a little before 2pm but was told they couldn't check us in until 2:15pm. A little annoying, but we understood and walked around the resort for a bit. We checked in at 2:15pm and were brought to our table a few minutes later. Our server was so kind and friendly. I ordered the chicken ceasar salad. It sounds so simple, but it was one of the best ceasar salads I've ever had! And it was a very generous portion. My husband had one of the burgers and he was also pleased with the quality of his food. My husband was too full for dessert but I am never one to say no to icecream so I ordered the No Way Jose sundae which was excellent! It had just the right amount of hot fudge and peanut butter and was a generous size. Our sweet waitress offered to re-fill our sodas and give us to-go cups. Refills were free. Lunch at Beaches 'N Cream put us back about $50 which is a lot but when the food quality, service and ambiance is good, you want to return, which we will! I definitely recommend B&C if you're staying at Beach Club or want to explore outside the parks.

Banana + Peanut Butter + Ice Cream = AMAZING! Who would have thought of making this amazing combination? Mickey did! And boy was it delicious! They make a peanut butter sandwich out of banana bread, top that with an awesome scoop of vanilla ice cream and top that off with some caramelized bananas and then hand you a spoon. Absolutely fantastic! But be warned, this cute ice cream shop is not that big, so getting a seat inside may take a little waiting. But it is definitely worth it!

Had reservations which is must there because the place is small and it gets packed quick . Very pricy for a burger place. For three of us which included 2 cheeseburgers 2 sodas 1 chicken sandwich and 1 brownie a la mode and a 2 scoop sundae our bill was 69.69 then with tip it was 81.00. No discounts for DVC members which I think we should get since we are club members. If we go back it would be for ice cream take out. Disney is going overboard with prices.

This was probably the place that surprised us the most (in a good way) on our most recent trip as we had very meh expectations but now get why the wait here at times is quite large. First off, it's worth noting that you can now make ADR's here via Disney Dining and it's worth doing that as B&C is very, very small and on a hot day I could see a multi-hour wait here easy. As for the menu, it's definitely on the simple side which in a way is also good because it's also hard for the two castmembers cooking to screw up. You've got burgers, grilled cheese, a few salads, Rachel/Turkey/Pot Roast Sandwiches and some Falafel Patties for you crazy vegetarian types. But all this is just edible foreplay for the main event which is dessert and oooh do they take dessert seriously here. If you are on the DDP you are locked into one of around ten choices that are not only very good but really freakin' HUGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes indeed they do have the notorious Kitchen Sink and yes lights go off and sirens blare when it is brought out as if you just scored the winning goal in a Stanley Cup game 7. We (OMG-Thank God) did not order it but in the 45 minutes we were there multiple tables did and it's not as big as I thought it would be but it's certainly big enough to have earned it's name. Service was very, very efficient which in and of it's self is amazing with how small this place is because when full the wait staff barely have any room to get the food from the cooks onto their trays let alone to navigate between the booths and tables. It's not highfalutin and it's not gourmet but it's well executed comfort food that is served up quickly in a neat atmosphere along with the promise of an ending that will make you stretch the spandex in your shorts that little bit more. FYI - Wearing spandex is not required but trust me when I say that it should be because if you get dessert you'll take someones eye out without it.

Best casual restaurant we went to. Wish the ice cream window would stay open later than 11. When you have to post an employee outside the shop to tell people your closed it means you should be open, MMouse needs new shoes you know. Sandwiches we really good for lunch.

Beaches & cream is famous for their ice cream, shakes and Kitchen Sinks but also, the food is great too! I had the Chicken sandwich topped with Brie Cheese, Cucumber, and Frisée tossed with Raspberry Vinaigrette with a side of fries. Holy cow. They give you a ton of food. By the time I was done it still looked like I hadn't made a dent in it. For desert my husband and I shared the Grilled Banana Bread and Peanut Butter Sundae. YUMMMO! If you are around the boardwalk this is a must! My only suggestion is you call ahead and make a reservation. If you don't you may not be able to get in. The place has very limited seating.

Wow, where to start? Has Disney politeness totally disappeared? From the minute we pulled through the gate, multiple cast members were incredibly rude to us. We didn't have a reservation, and the girl running the reservation booth wouldn't make us a future reservation. As someone who used to work at the Beach Club, AND a former Disney employee, the rudeness we were treated with was unacceptable. Considering how much people pay at the Yacht and Beach club, you'd think they'd be trained to treat their guests with respect at the very least.

Cute little diner offering burgers, sandwiches and ice creams galore. We tried to get a table lunch and were turned away, however got lucky that night and were sat for dinner as walk ins. The menu is rather limited - basically only burgers and sandwiches . My husband ordered the cheeseburger which he found bland. He compared it to a Bubba Burger. I had their grilled cheese and tomato bisque which was just OK. The bisque was tasty but watery, and the grilled cheese wasn't cheesy enough for me. My daughter had the kids' turkey marinara and pasta which she enjoyed. We ordered the Mud Slide sundae which was average - ice cream, brownie, fudge and Oreos. It was a humongous serving, which we found surprising since the waitress offered us 2 when we ordered it. A family of beasts next to us ordered the Kitchen Sink which is what this place is famous for. If diabetes, obesity and gastric bypass surgery are your goal in life then this is the place for you.

Being local and annual pass holders we are trying to hit up more Disney restaurants as we have been satisfied so far and B&C did not leave us disappointed! We got lucky as we had no reservation and still got to be seated with minimal wait. (Make a reservation if you are planning to go!) I love how small this place is as it gives a more personal feel. Even though they got busy we never felt rushed! The ice cream was amazing and the service was very friendly!

Back when I was a student at UCF my friends and I would visit Beaches and Cream almost every other week for dinner and ice cream; however, once I got a job as a Concierge at the Yacht and Beach Club, I really didn't want to hang out "socially" at my place of work. Its been quite a few years since I worked at Yacht and Beach, so while we were Guests at the Yacht Club I recommended it for lunch. Beaches and Cream serves delicious "diner comfort food" - cheeseburgers, hot dogs, grilled cheese and tomato soup in an incredibly themed and fun environment. There are juke boxes throughout the restaurant on free play, the servers are wearing adorable pastel colored costumes adorned with bow ties, and you truly feel like you're warped back in time. Our food was very good, and the prices here are very reasonable when you consider you're at one of the signature Disney resorts. As we were just here for lunch, we did not partake in a Kitchen Sink; however, later that night we stopped by the to-go side and picked up ice cream sundaes to enjoy poolside. All in all, a fun hidden gem at the Yacht and Beach Club.

It was a neat, last minute lunch decision. The atmosphere(like all Disney property restaurants) was point on. We sat at the counter; so it was fun to get to watch them make all the unique ice cream desserts! The sandwich and burger we had were not bad but not the most memorable. But my favorite part was an ice cream float made with diet coke:) YUMMY! I would choose here over Ghiardeli for ice cream. And if you are in the Boardwalk area or staying at the Beach Club, then this is a decent, quick sit down lunch.

Our family has dined at Beaches and Cream a few times and always enjoyed the food and the atmosphere at this Beach Club restaurant. It's one of the few table service spots in Walt Disney World where you won't spend a lot of money to eat out. Ever since Disney changed the menus and added the dining plan we found that the value for eating out with a family of five isn't worth it at many places. My kids don't fancy much off the "adult" menus at many of the restaurants, and I'm not at all interested in spending $20-$30 for them to dine at a place they could care less about. Beaches and Cream is a great spot for our family. They have a good "diner' menu and lots of ice cream treats to choose from. Sometimes if we're in the area we'll swing by and get a cone or a sundae. Our last visit to Beaches and Cream was to celebrate my daughter's 18th birthday. We stopped by the restaurant around 5:30pm on a Friday afternoon. We got cozy in our booth and checked out the menu. I was a bit surprised that none of the kids got burgers, but instead all three of them ordered the Grilled Cheese and Tomato Bisque. My husband and I split the Angus Beef Burger and we ordered a side of Onion Rings for the table. Everyone was happy with their dinner. We had a fabulous server who took our dessert order and when she brought it back to the table the lights in the restaurant started spinning and the crowd all sang happy birthday to my daughter. It was a lot of fun, and she wasn't all to embarrassed for an eighteen year old. The desserts were delicious. I tried talking everyone into getting the Kitchen Sink, but gluttony was not in our cards. We got a couple of shakes and a Brownie A La Mode, and not a drop was left. If you're looking for a casual dining experience at Disney, Beaches and Cream is a fun old-fashion soda shop serving up some tasty eats and ice cream treats.

Not as good as I thought it would be. I had the Cuban and my wife had the hot dog. The pork belly was dry and was very bland. The relish and mustard were good, but I wish the pork belly was better. The onion rings were good, but probably weren't fresh. I will go back and try the burger the next time we're down.

The food was good. Nothing fancy, just simple sandwiches mainly...but dessert was awesome. Had a malt one day, my son had a Coke float and next day he had a shake and I had a No Way Jose.

We love coming here, there are plenty of reviews about the food and ice cream. It's the seating policy that's insane. They didn't sit anyone at either if the 2 huge booths or the table that were empty because you have to go to the concierge for a 'reservation' and there weren't any for 2+ hrs. We were there for 45+ minutes and these tables were empty the whole time. They don't take Tables in Wonderland at the carry out register either. :-(

We went for the ice cream and actually had a decent meal as well. We were vacationing in Orlando back in July 2013 with our 3 nieces, ages 10, 12 and 16. Nice retro-50's style place. We sat at the counter and the girls simply loved watching the staff make all the sundaes right on the other side of the counter. When our food came, the 10 year old didn't care for the combo of cheeses on her grilled cheese sandwich, part my fault for not reading the description more closer. The waitress offered to make us another one and I politely refused as I didn't want to cause a fuss for my own mistake. She showed up 5-7 minutes later with a plan american cheese sandwich for my niece. My niece enjoyed it and gobbled it up. Also my meal came with a side of fruit and when it was placed in front of me I noticed it was watermelon and passed it down to my eldest niece as I don't care for watermelon, no biggie. Our waitress didn't even ask me but promptly brought me another fruit side of grapes. So attentive and genuinely so kind. Great overall "disney" experience and considering we were NOT going to any of the disney parks while we were there, it was nice for our nieces to experience it. I came here for the Kitchen Sink. Luckily there were enough of us where we each got one scoop of ice cream from the Kitchen Sink. the ice cream alone is good, creamy and rich. Just the way I like it. The kitchen Sink itself is quite scary - definitely a one time thing. I wouldn't do it again. It gets pretty gross when all the whipped cream and left over ice cream is melted and the sponge cake and brownies soaking up the liquid; not a pleasant sight. A fun place to go with a group of friends and a good place for the summer. i recommend group of friends and families to bring your kids to celebrate their birthdays here or even just try to finish the Kitchen Sink!

Even though we only went once and did not even get to sit down because it was so busy we ordered our ice cream to go. I really wish we could have went more so we could have tried more sundaes off the menu but those sundaes were no joke even the smaller ones like the one we had ordered filled me up and it was my sister and I eating it. The sundaes are absolutely amazing so if and when you go you must order one!

Yummy! Of course, this place is known for ice cream, but the last time we were here, we went for lunch - the falafel plate sounded tasty, so hubs and I shared it (so we could save room for desserts/snacks at Epcot). No plate share fee, and perfect portion for two people!!

Nice little place if your kids just want a burger and ice cream one night. Waiter was a super nice guy - food was mediocre but what you would expect at a place like this at Disney. Burger seemed like a frozen "Bubba Burger" you get at the Super Market but it was enjoyable and good to be here. Have this ridiculous ice cream sundae that belonged on a tacky cable TV show. All in all, a cool little joint in a nice hotel property adjacent to a very nice pool .

It was hard to get a table in this place for a party of two at 730pm with no reservations. The girls at the reservation desk were a little bit rude to me and my wife. We were hot and sweaty and tired from walking, we wanted to wait in A/C. They told us we couldn't even when our two counter seats were available. Then they sat a group which came after us? Were only two people! We finally got seated, and the waitress was perfect, she was very nice. Food came out just in time, I was starving. Food was good, way better than any walk-up service by the beach club. The decor is cool 50's dinner/soda shop. They switch the lights when someone gets the KITCHEN SINK which is cool; let me tell you that thing is big! We got a ice cream sundae with mint and peanut butter cup. It was nice and big for the price. Great place for something quick with table service. Waiters and everyone is great, just the girls at the front can be a little rude. Would go again, if looking for something sweet.

The lights dropped low, and a low siren started with a yellow rotating beacon light circling the room...I waited for the bachelorette party strippers...but instead, our waitress in her 50s style soda fountain getup brought us The Kitchen Sink. 10 scoops of ice ceam, hot fudge, strawberry, candy bar, brownies, angelfood cake, sprinkles, bananas, spice cupcakes, and that's just to begin. It's actually in a darling little kitchen sink. My boyfriend and son and I could not finish it, but we tried. It's $30, and an experience!!

With most dining at disney, you do need a reservation (duh!) I dined here with my mother and daughter. We had a blast! The place is small inside and they really should think about expanding it. Our waiter was great and the food was delicious. Can't wait to return!

Heard so much about this place so we decided to try it. Long waits even with a reservation as the service sooooo slow . Two hours for burgers, soup and fries. Good quality and presentation is only so so. Ice cream however is fabulous. So when you go stick to dessert.

Ok I've tried something else other than the kitchen sink. This visit is a disappointing one. I tried the Fudge Mud Slide and Strawberry Shortcake. The Mud Slide is definitely huge with 3 scoops of vanilla ice cream and brownie, but I feel the sundaes at Ghiradelli in Downtown Disney is much more worth it and satisfying. At least they heat up the brownies at Ghiradelli. The Strawberry Shortcake looks very sad, and probably was meant to be on the kids menu. The shortcake was more of a cake, but I'm use to it being sort of a biscuit. Definitely something I feel I can pick up at Publix. I think this place is only worth it for a large group of people willing to try the Kitchen Sink.

Only reason to go is the malt which was just average. Food was far below average. Fire alarm went off during meal randomly for an hour. Manager was rude. Go to the quick-service by the pool.

On our last Disney trip I made a special trip here just to get the Fudge Mud Slide sundae. I can still taste it in my mouth and drool... a brownie topped with three scoops of ice cream, oreo cookies, hot fudge, whipped cream, chocolate syrup and a cherry that I always give to my husband. Given it's size I should not have eaten the entire thing but of course I did and would have eaten another if I did not think I would explode. If you have a group I would suggest the Kitchen Sink sundae. Did not have any other food but it looked and smelled great! This place is on my must visit again list and should be must for anyone who loves sundaes. Next time we plan to make a quick serve meal out of the place!

This place located at the beach club resort on Disney property is by far one of the best places to get ice cream! My husband and I have gone several times now living around the area to go just for the No Way Jose because who doesn't love the combination of peanut butter chocolate and fudge with ice cream? We discovered even asking for them to add a warm brownie to the mix at the bottom gives it even more yummy sinful goodness! We have been there for lunch once with friends, and i have to say the tomato bisque with grilled cheese is amazing, my husband was not as impressed with his open face pot roast sandwich but then again he always says I order better than him and he always ends up envious despite he ordered his own food =). This location is also the home of the kitchen sink, we have yet to try it because i think you need way more than 4 people there to finish that thing off, one of these days I intend to go with a big group and a hungry appetite for all that is sweet! They now do accept reservations for tables but still can do walk ins for the counter service, or if you just want ice cream to go they do have a separate door to go in for simple ice cream cones and cups, but if you want a sundae you have to either reserve space, or at least wait. We have waited over an hour for the ice cream before when it is during the holiday season or summer they become very busy, but at least they have a arcade about two doors down to entertain kids if you must wait!

This is an all time favorite of the family. The place is not very big. For those of you on a Disney Meal plan, this is a must. You really get your money's worth here. The menu is limited, but everything is quite good. I recommend that you skip the meal and go right to the ice cream. If there is at least 4 in your group, go for the Kitchen sink. Its an experience you will not forget. Every trip we take to Disney is not complete till we have had an ice cream here

Personally, I think this restaurant is rated a bit too highly. It is very average. Its kind of a cute little shop, but the food is nothing to go crazy over. I was expecting an awesome burger from stuff that I had read about this place before visiting, so I was bummed that it was not even close to as good as something I could have gotten at a Fuddrucker's. The waitress was very nice however, so a big thumbs up for the service. Still, the food here makes this place a little less than remarkable. I'd probably try another restaurant on the property next time.

I came for the Kitchen Sink but sadly I punked out! Beaches and Cream Soda Shop, which is located at the Beach Club Resort at Walt Disney World, is a small, 50's themed cafe that serves burgers, patty melts, hot dogs, fries and, of course, all types of sundaes, malts and shakes. My wife and I came here strictly for dessert one evening after a long day at the parks. I wanted to order the Kitchen Sink, which is a gigantic Sundae that consists of 8 different scoops of ice cream, a whole can off whipped cream, nuts, pieces of brownies and waffles, chocolate syrup and a cherry on top. My wife wasn't feeling that at all. All she wanted was a brownie sundae. Well, after much debate I backed down because I wasn't hungry enough to finish that monstrosity alone and I figured that paying $23.99 for a Sundae is way too much to spend when I knew I wouldn't be able to conquer it at that time. In the end, this is what we ordered; Me- Milky Way Sundae - Bundt cake topped with three scoops of vanilla ice cream, hot fudge, butterscotch, whipped cream and a cherry Wife- Brownie A La Mode- Warm, gooey fudge brownie topped with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, hot fudge, peanut butter sauce, toasted almonds, sprinkles and a cherry Both of these Sundaes were fantastic. My only complaint was that the bundt cake in my Sundae didn't taste like it was freshly baked. It was not very moist and tasted like it may have been sitting out a while. Both the service and prices here are great. Next time I visit WDW you better believe I'm coming back to Beaches and Cream to take down that kitchen sink sundae. I have no doubt in my mind that I could have finished it if I would have not eaten as much as I did at dinner (see my review of La Hacienda to see how much I ate only an hour before hand). Till then all I can do is hang my head in shame, for I wimped out.

We wanted to like Beaches & Cream so badly because of all of the wonderful reviews, but unfortunately, bad service and "eh" food made us decide we'll never be returning. We had the open-faced roast beef sandwich and the burger (not so great), we both got milkshakes (they were really nothing special) and it was the same price if we had gone to a higher class place. I know you pay for the Disney experience, but because our server had no interest in serving us, we didn't receive the experience. She didn't try to connect with us at all and it ended up that another server filled our drinks and delivered our food. Our server greeted us and put down the check. The worst part about this was that our server was actually making fun of people in front of other guests, which was extremely unprofessional. We expect much more from Disney and will not be returning here.

Here's a place to eat should you have absolutely no nutritional requirements. In other words, if you can be happy with a hot dog and a soda for lunch and the same for baby, bless your heart. You're a true American.

What a fun place! Let me express my sole complaint before I get into the good stuff: we were told we had to wait 75-90 mins to get in. Luckily, it was really only a 30 minute wait, but once inside, there were many seats open at the counter, so I'm not sure why we had to wait at all, unless they didn't have enough servers. Oh well--30 minutes well worth it. Our server was really nice, friendly, and efficient. The highlight of our visit--and I wasn't expecting this--was the fanfare accorded the dining choice we made. We ordered a dessert known as The Kitchen Sink. How can I describe this beautiful monstrosity? Huge scoops of multiple flavors of ice cream (vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, and Rocky Road), what seemed like an entire jar of Maraschino cherries, and what they themselves acknowledge is an entire can of whipped cream, it also has brownie chunks and spice cake chunks scattered throughout, as well as a Milky Way candy bar cut into pieces. Luckily, you can custom order the beast, and make substitutions; we didn't care for the pineapple topping (removed) or the coffee ice cream (also removed) and they were happily exchanged. But: the presentation. I didn't know what was going on when they brought out the dessert. All of the house lights were shut off, yellow caution rotating beacons were lit, and our server began making announcements in a loud voice; I thought there was a fire or something and we were being told to vacate in an orderly manner. No; it was just a way to show fanfare to a humongous dessert served, appropriately enough, in a stainless steel replica of a kitchen sink with a spigot and two tap handles. There were three of us working on it, but we could not finish The Kitchen Sink. What fun. Try it!

Saturday evening. Summertime. Florida. Hot. Humid. What better way to celebrate than a classic vanilla milkshake at Beaches & Cream?! I have visited Beaches a number of times in the past, but this was the first since giving up most meat, especially red meat. Well, vegetarians and meat eaters alike, skip the animal carcass here and dive into the American classic that is the grilled cheese & tomato bisque combo. Coupled with fries, this is a meal that should be enjoyed by all. It was delicious and one of the best grilled cheeses I can honestly say I've ever had. Topped off with a vanilla milkshake to complete the meal, you will leave more than satisfied. The staff is always friendly and the service always timely. If you can make your way to the Beach Club this is a must on any Disney Vacation. Or if you're a local like me, it is worth a trip down to Disney to enjoy a hearty slice of old Americana Disney style!

Awesome place for the family. We had the cheeseburger, grilled cheese and tomatoe bisque soup, turkey bacon sandwhich and onion rings. Everything was great! Customer service was excellent. We Heard about the "kitchen sink" dessert. It was a must order. 8 scoops of ice crea,, oreos, pound cake, brownies, a can of whipped creAm, a fruit jelly (which I didn't like). It was huge!!!! We had 5 people and we couldn't finish it! But was definitely worth it.

Went twice last weekend. The first time we just grabbed to go which has a much smaller menu than when you eat in. It was pretty quick. I had the root beer float and I must say I was a tab disappointed with the flavor of the root beer, it was extremely bitter and I was forced to just eat the ice cream and throw the rest out =( On a MUCH BETTER note, Lisa, my friend who works at Disney and is a Disney know-it-all said that we eventually HAD to do the "Kitchen Sink Challenge" sometime throughout the weekend while we were there. Like we didn't consume enough calories by this point =) I am always up for a challenge, esp when it involved food, ice cream to boot! There were 9 of us girls so our game plan was to all share lunches and then save room for dessert. We stuck to the plan and I had half of a cheeseburger and a side of onion rings. It was delicious, the burger was cooked perfect and had a ton of flavor. The onion rings were not too greasy and had amazing crisp. So we ordered the kitchen sink and it was phenomenal. It comes out in a small version of a kitchen sink bowl and it is filled to the brim with 8 scoops of all different ice cream, brownies, shortbread, gummies, cherries, snickers, oreos and an ENTIRE CAN of whipped cream. YES PLEASE! We downed that thing in like 7 minutes. It did melt awfully quick but it tasted amazing! When it was delivered to our table there was flashing lights and an announcement of course. We ordered the 3rd one of the day so I am sure they get mad orders all day long since it was barely noon yet. I could have shared that with 3 other people and finished it since it estimates it feeds 4 but with lunch put away, it was the perfect amount. ICE CREAM, #FTW!

I've heard several people RAVE about the burger here. Are you kidding me? It's okay, but I've had better burgers at the Ninety-Nine and Chili's. For food, I've had the burger, the roast beef sandwich, and fries. They're all okay. Not bad, but not great either. Ice cream, and the ambiance, are the big winners here. You can't go wrong with a No Way Jose! And the decor is pretty cool...like an old time soda shoppe. It's worth the trip for the ice cream, but I wouldn't go out of my way for the regular food.

For me the ice cream is just ok, I can't eat regular ice cream but they were able to accommodate my allergies just like almost all Disney restaurants. I was able to order a sundae so I wasn't sitting at the table watching everyone else enjoy their frozen treats. I'm a fan of this place more for the atmosphere. It really reminds you of a old time ice cream shop. It's pretty fun in there great place to unwind at the end of the day if you are staying at an area hotel. It's especially fun when they bring out a kitchen sink. The service here was excellent. I asked our waitress about what was available for my allergies and she was able to answer all my questions and give me a few options. She even offered (several times) to run over to the other restaurants in the hotel to see if they had any other options. I wasn't thrilled with my choices, but I did pick something they had (I just couldn't have made the poor girl run to any other restaurants). Because of my allergies my ice cream just ended up being Tofutti (which in my opinion is the best dairy free ice cream) which you can buy at the grocery store. But what really impressed me was the service and just that I was able to have dessert with the rest of my party rather than watching like I've been accustomed to.

First, let me start off by saying that I've been eating here for well over 10 years now. The burgers and the kitchen sink were always a must-have when you went there. But, the last time I was there, the burgers tasted like they have switched from real meat, to the pre-frozen cheap burgers you'd find on sale at Wal-Mart in the freezer section. Are you kidding? Come on, Disney! You're known for the burgers - stop being cheap! Needless to say, I was so disappointed and felt like I wasted my money. Especially since they raise the prices on a yearly basis now.

If you're in the area and looking for desert, this is probably one of the few places you can go to. As a result, everyone else comes here and sometimes there can be a decent wait especially when it's really hot outside. What caused this place to lose a few points for me was that they don't have a huge selection of ice cream. I guess I've gotten used to going to ice cream places where there are at least 20 options. Once again, this is Disney so it's sort of expected. The people working here are really friendly. Once again, this is probably a result of great training by Disney. The other thing to keep in mind is that if you're just looking for ice cream, they have somewhat of a walk through line where you can just order and take it to go. The selection here is smaller so don't expect to cheat the system. Enjoy!

Love this place!! Comfort food at its best. We eat here during every trip to Disney... The burgers are good, as is the grilled cheese and tomato bisque!! YUMMY!! The chili and onion rings are also delish!! The apple-cranberry pie is also to die for. I haven't had the Kitchen Sink yet, but it looks divine!!!

I have been going here since the year it opened. If I go for lunch or dinner I have never strayed from the cheeseburger and fries option (milkshake optional). My dessert of choice is the No Way Jose, but of course I've tried a few yummy treats on the menu! Beaches and Cream is located at the Beach Club Resort across from the sand bottom pool that connects to the Yacht Club Resort. The food is great, the atmosphere is fun and Brian is my favorite waiter who always remembers us when we visit-even if a lot of time has passed in between! Here's a tip if you're with a group (or just that ambitious) - try the Kitchen Sink!

I've been to Disney World three times since having children. We discovered Beaches & Cream the first time we went. We of course ordered the Kitchen Sink all three times. My kids and their cousins love this tradition, most are teens now. I have ordered the No Way Jose (chocolate ice cream, peanut butter sauce, hot fudge sauce, etc) all three times. It is amazing. Can't wait to go back. Brian, the server we had in 2008 and 2013 was great and really friendly.

As good as advertised. Tom and Joe's good (for those from Denton Texas :-). American burgers and the local soda fountain at its best.

*Sigh* I hate having to give this place 3 stars but after our last meal, it went from 4 to 3. Hopefully after next trip I can come back and bump it back up to 4. First got to the podium and said there would be 6 of us for lunch but 3 were still on their way. The girl said they can't seat us until we're all there. Ok, understandable and no problem there. 5 minutes later our buzzer goes off and 3 in our party still aren' t there. We tell the hostess this and she rolls her eyes and huffs and puffs and told us she shouldn't seat us but does anyway. Gives us two tables in the middle of the restaurant. Thought all was ok. A few minutes later another host comes by and asks where the rest of our party was. They're still on their way. He says they'll need to sit another party there. Umm...ok, fine? Then why seat us in the first place? They sit another family at the table although there is another table free that just needed to be cleaned. They could have easily cleaned the other table and sat the family there. Our friends showed up right as that family was getting seated and they were seated at the other table I mentioned. The whole interaction just rubbed me the wrong way. The hostess was miserable in every interaction we had. Just all around not a happy camper and it rubbed off on us. After that though, our meal was good! We had Delores, who is always fun and friendly. Just what you'd expect at Disney. My friends had the veggie burger and the veggie sandwich and raved about both. I had the grilled chicken sandwich and it was just ok. It had decent flavor but the chicken was slightly rubbery. Unfortunately we passed on dessert but usually dessert is a MUST! So whenever asked, I say to go for dessert and skip the real meals here. My friends would differ though! :) If you get enough people, definitely order a Kitchen Sink or No Way Jose. They're both awesome just to look at!!

Great place to come out to if you want some ice cream and to chill with friends, especially if you're a CP : ) Talk about the MOTHER OF SUNDAES!!!! Everyone always talks about the kitchen sink challenge when you're doing your program, so it's something to try at least once! And yes, me and one other person finished the entire sink!! (Yeah it's kinda gross to admit, but whatever!) I'm just rating it on the overall experience of coming here, I don't think the sink was anything amazing because everything mushes together after a while, and you're just completely stuffed and feeling sick that taste didn't matter. Bottom line: I can cross out doing the kitchen sink off my bucket list, so I won't be doing that again, but I would go back if I was in Orlando and friends wanted to go. Downside: the place is really small and doesn't accommodate big groups, we had to split our group into three tables and wait almost two hours to get a table!

The service here is great! The gentleman who served us (Brian?) was friendly and fantastic. I had a coffee malt with extra malt -- the server suggested some chocolate syrup in the glass, and that was a BRILLIANT recommendation. We had to wait to be seated, but we took the pager into the arcade next door and played skee-ball until our pager beeped. Not a bad way to spend an evening. :-) I'm a big fan of hard-packed ice cream, and it's getting harder and harder to find. Thank goodness for this place. Yes, it's pricier than going off-property, but it's a great treat for a local couple.

This is by far one of our favorite places to go in Orlando! Especially if you are visiting Orlando then you absolutely MUST take a trip to this cute little soda shop located in the Yacht & Beach Club resort at Walt Disney World. They are known for their famous "Kitchen Sink Sundae" but their food and other ice cream treats are also extremely good. My only complaint- not enough room! If you are in a large party of people then make sure to get reservations or be prepared to wait!

Maybe I went to a different restaurant than everyone else. I about went into labor when I saw the bill. Let me tell you, Hot dog and coke for the in-law patty melt, fries and shake for the hubby turkey sandwich with half order of fries and half order of fruit and WATER two kids hot dogs with half orders of fries and fruit with MILKS bowl of chocolate ice cream Grand total with tip = 73. 50. I didn't even tip the suggested 18- 20 % that the tell you to on the bill because the waitress was surly. Maybe it was my bad for not getting the Disney Dining plan, but I was staying for one night and just wanted to treat my kids to some of my favorites. Yes, they did get some cute Mickey Mouse ice cream that came with their meal. Little Oreos for ears, cherry for nose and two chocolate chips for eyes. It is a neat place to go, but I found it to be pricey.

Beaches & Cream: hidden gem of Walt Disney World. Picture a malt shop circa 1955, complete with juke box. This is a small full service food and beverage restaurant nestled between the Yacht and Beach Club Resorts where you can have a standard burger, fries, and shake, but it's done oh, so well! They also offer one of my personal favorites, an au jus roast beef sandwich, as well as a few novelty desserts, including their famous Kitchen Sink sundae, which comes in an actual kitchen sink. It's usually pretty busy, and yet I think that not many people know about it, hence why I consider it a hidden gem. Whether you're staying at the Yacht or Beach Club Resorts or not, I highly recommend lunch or dinner here.

  • Drew M.

Located (and kinda hidden) within Disney's Yacht & Beach Club Resort is this great little ice cream shop! It's an awesome place to share a sundae with friends. I usually go for their Mud Slide sundae that's perfect for two. It comes with ice cream, oreos, hot fudge, a big gooey brownie at the bottom, whipped cream topping & a cherry on top! Yummy! They are famous for an enormous sundae known as The Kitchen Sink! When people order one, alarms and flashing lights go off while the server makes an announcement to the restaurant! You'll need at least 3 more people to help you tackle one of those things! They do serve burgers and such as well, but dessert is what's recommended! A great spot to check out!

At first we were bummed out to be seated at the bar, but it turned out to be nice, as we got to watch all the huge sundaes being prepared. The burgers were nice and the milkshake was nice and thick. The waitress was really nice. Sometimes they would put garbage right next to us, which was kind of weird. We were there at the end of the night, so we were "lucky enough" to watch them put together all the leftovers from the day into a large plastic bowl. We jokingly asked them if this was the famous kitchen sink. I would recommend this place, it has a really fun atmosphere and the food is good too.

No need to be visiting Disney to come to this hidden location. Located in the Beach Club Resort behind the Boardwalk. Cheeseburger & fries are great. Milkshake is to die for. 50's diner type of feel to it. Wait staff is great & I have never had a problem. Seating is very, very limited so get there early.

  • Norm H.

I am going to keep this short. Come here for the kitchen sink!! It's huge, big enough to feed 4 people. Very tasty ice cream sundae put into a kitchen sink with all the toppings! Can get busy at night but worth the wait. Stop by if at EPCOT or at the beach resorts and dig into the kitchen sink sundae. Yummy!!!

Had lunch here last week & was pleasantly surprised since I didn't have ice cream! This being a disney resort, you have to eat on my nana's schedule. Like literally every restaurant is closed from 2 - 6. Who eats lunch before 2? Anyway, good old beaches & cream was open for biz during 'off' hours. Split caesar salad (very sizeable!) & a vegi wrap. I'm not a wrap girl, but this was really tasty. Had quite a kick to it & full of veg goodness. Onion rings looked the bomb as well. I kept meaning to come back for the actual namesake, but never made it. Since all disney properties serve Eddy's ice cream, can't imagine there would be any shocking moments of dairy bliss, but everything did look nicely presented. Plus I found the staff's uniforms some of the least offensive in the park/

I have gone to this wonderful little place every time I visit Walt Disney World - probably close to 100 times! It is something we always look forward to. HOWEVER, on our last visit last week, I ordered my usual cheeseburger and immediately when it arrived I knew it was different. It was a tasteless, awful looking burger - It tasted nothing like the previous times. I asked our server, who we knew from our previous visits and she said, that they changed the burger ... she then brought the Manager over and he verified that the burger was different and that what we were served, was the one that would now be served in the restaurant. It truly was disgusting and I, of course, did not eat it. I guess the only time we will now visit is to have ice cream only. What I shame for all of us regulars, who won't get that burger we used to so look forward to. Disney food is not what it used to be - They are catering to their Disney Dining Plan and the food quality is distinctly lower grade. I love Disney and will be at the Yacht & Beach Club again in less than 3 weeks, but won't be having that really bad burger ever again.

My friends and I went here to do the kitchen sink challenge. They fill a bowl the size of a kitchen sink with different types of ice cream, whipped cream and all the toppings. Then, you see if you can finish it. No prize for finishing it except for bragging rights. Between 6 girls, it took us 15 minutes. Definitely a place you have to stop by if you are staying at the resort!

I have been to this place a few times in the past and have always devoured the "kitchen sink". Goes without saying that it's absolutely delectable. I went again last weekend with a group of 9 girls and it was absolutely fantastic. By far this past experience was the best!! First off there were 9 of us and the place is kind of small, but they in fact did push two tables together which was fantastic. Our server Maria was phenomenal and such a sweet lady, she even had all of our sandwiches and burgers cut in half because she knew we were splitting everything! :0). This was the first time I actually went in and ordered food, instead of just ballin and heading straight for the ice cream. I had a veggie wrap and onion rings. I am not kidding you when I tell you this was probably the best veggie wrap I've ever had in my life. It was a wheat tortilla, with the veggies all tossed in a sun-dried tomato pesto sauce, layered with black olive hummus. I've actually been craving it. Yummmmyyyy!! We of course ended the meal with the legendary kitchen sink, 8 scoops, every single topping in the joint and a can of whip cream. I am not a chocolate person at all so once the ice creams start merging I kind of get turned off. But I was lucky enough to have one of the first scoops of strawberry ice cream and it was amazing, big ol' strawberries in it and all. When it comes to the "soda shop" genre of places to eat, this place is definitely as good as it gets!!! (at least to me)

I know people go for the ice cream, but it has the one of the best burgers around. The onion rings are so crisp! Gotta love the real cherry cokes too!

so you're schleping around epcot and getting hungry. every food place is expensive and/or full-up. on the england side of the bridge to france, the path looks like it leads to another gift shop ...but wait. past the gift shop is an egress to the yatch and beach club. just follow the path for 5 minutes and walk through the pool area and you will find a 50's soda shop with burgers, sandwiches and cokes. poodle skirts and rock n' roll from the 50's. probably the least expensive meal on your disney trip ... and the most fun.

As a lactose-intolerant individual, i have to applaud the thoroughness of the Disney kitchen staff's effort to make me a banana split sundae with as many ingredients as possible. They checked every single ingredient on the toppings menu for me, and the put it on top of tofutti ice cream (two flavors). They also have rice dream if you're more into it. as for every other sundae they are EXCESSIVE. gargantuan. ridiculous. and that's not even getting into the Kitchen sink. which is huge huge huge huge, and not edible by less than 4 very hungry people. but okay, the service was kind of mediocre with some bad errors trying to get us a table. as in our fifteen minute wait was 90 minutes, but it was really good.

tried the "kitchen sink" which has 8 scoops of ice cream and they use a whole can of whip cream. the waitress and the crew dim the lights and a yellow light and alarm goes off and the waitor/waitress call you and your group out telling the whole restaurant that u and your group ordered this gigantic dessert. they say that it feeds 4 people but i think it can feed 8. its a great dessert to try

Casme here on the recommendation of a co-worker who is a Diseny fanatic and was not disappointed. Staying at the Yachy Club, so this was convenient. Had the recomended cheese burger and the No Way Jose Sunday - hot fundge and peanut butter with chocoloate ice cream. Could not be more pleased, I am just now gorged before my flight - but what the heck you only live once.

So this place rocks. After eating park food at Walt disney world for days I looked for a quiet resort restaurant that wouldn't be too expensive. Okay so the main draw here is the ice cream (duh). We also ordered a wrap and some onion rings which were good but not as memorable as the ice cream. Also, the waitress was one of the best I've had. She was able to bring me a brownie on the side because I couldn't decide between that or the pound cake. Also, they sang happy birthday and lit all the "kitchen sink" lights for me! Felt really special. Our waitress also got me balloons! Went way beyond to add the disney magic and make me feel like a birthday girl. I definitely recommend and hopefully next time will try the kitchen sink (I chickened out) lol.

  • There are two reasons to visit the 1950's styled Beaches and Cream, the first is to sample there mouth watering gut busting ice cream sundaes from the classic banana split to the unusal No Way Jose! the 2nd reason is to lose yourself and your waist line an a massive belly busting Kitchen Sink! 8 massive scoops of icecream a whole can of whipped cream, cakes, sweets whole chocolate bars topped with a cherry and served in an enourmous kitchen sink complete with tap! Not to be missed!

Arrived at 11:02 pm after a horrific bus ride back from a packed Magic Kingdom. Place was filthy. They said they close at 11 and wouldn't serve us. So much for that Disney Magic! I give them one benefit of the doubt star because it might be good once you actually eat there, but that woman was not interested in helping out one bit.

Overall, it was a good experience, but the size and service make it a less than desirable place to dine on Disney property.

we didn't make reservations and we tried to walk in. well, we waited for 30-40 minutes to be seated. this particular day waiting was fine because we all were too tired to drive any where to eat dinner. we ordered grill cheese with soup, kids pasta, and ruben with onion rings. all the food items were a solid 4 star. the best part was the prices which were very reasonable! we enjoyed our brownie a la mode for dessert! we enjoyed our service when she was present. each time we needed something we had to wave her down and wait a few minutes for her to arrive. when she was present she did a great job. we had a few empty soda cups waiting to be refilled. our bill for 2 adults and 1 kids meal before tip was $49. it was an enjoyable experience.

GET. THE. KITCHEN.

(See additional disney restaurant review of steakhouse)

  • Alan L.

  • Christina L.
