Not a big fan of the food in Florida, coming from up north. But this place is absolutely delicious! The restaurant is super clean, and has a very modern set up. I will most definitely be returning soon.

We always grab them "to go" and they are always ready with even a 15 min notice. Their gelato is awesome and so are their little desserts behind the glass. The favorite sandwich/crepe for lunch is the caprisa on a panini or crepe. You get more "stuff" in the crepe but the panini tastes more normal (on ciabatta). We love their dulce de leche with banana crepe! The plain dulce de leche is yummy too! So nice to have a different genre of food within reach. We have been there several times. ALSO we had the panini with a cup of tomato soup... DO IT!

I would recommend getting creeps when you are here. They use different taste and texture creeps for savory and sweet creeps which is great. We had asparagus soup, Greek salad, chicken creeps, smoke salmon sandwiches and strawberry chocolate creeps. The sandwiches were overly priced and nothing special. Other items were pretty good. If you don't like sweet creeps too sweet, I would recommend you telling them to put less chocolate on the creeps. If I didn't ask them to put half the amount they usually put, the creeps probably would be soaked in chocolate syrup. Service were ok. Nothing out of ordinary. To sum up, this is a great place for creeps, others...not so much.

Great service ! Great crepes!! My daughter was hungry on the way to Kennedy space center and this was an unexpected stop. The crepes were the best we had so far comparing to the ones we had back in California.

Came in for another visit and had the honey ham with strawberry crepe. Once again everything was delicious and the service was friendly and fast.

Visited a couple of weeks ago. Overpriced. Too many options and fails to deliver. If they condensed some of their items and executed them well then I think it'd be a lot better. Smoothie and teas were good, food was forgettable. Haven't been back since and I work in the area.

Eh. Nothing to write home about. Had paninis, cheese wasn't melted and middle was cold. Flavor was pretty good but the only thing that made it a panini was the fact that the outside was a little toasted.

Stopped here to pick up a quick breakfast one morning. They do carryout if you can't eat in. The iced caramel coffees were great. Better than Starbucks. Breakfast sandwiches were also good. Not a wide selection of breakfast foods but it is a solid option in the Nona area. I'll give this place another try soon. Check it out.

This place never disappoints! The food is so delicious its hard to pick just one thing! The gelato is so mouthwatering and reminds me of Italy.

Nice cafe that serves crepes and paninis and gelatos. Really great frappacinos. This is not a sub shop so do not expect a huge sub. The sandwiches and crepes are not large portions and not served with sides, but are well prepared and tasty. Additionally, they have a small European type bakery serving truffles and macarons... Alexandre was our server and was exceptional. I don't think we have had such good service for quite some time.

Just went back this past weekend and loveee going here! Service is great, food is so fresh, gelato is amazing and all in all is a great place to go. Every time I am in this area I get the urge to stop in!

Everything is fresh and prepared to order. Wonderful sandwiches and desserts! Tasty and beautifully prepared. This is such a cute little café. Great place to come and enjoy with friends. Try sitting outside and enjoy the sun and fresh air. This place is wonderful!

  • Eljay J.

The gelato is just okay. Way too thick and dense for my personal taste but the flavor is good. I would almost consider it to be churned smooth ice cream vs. an Italian gelato.... If that's your thing you'll like this place, they have a huge selection of flavors, more so than most places in Orlando.

Just had dinner here with my daughter and we had a great dinner. We both had crepes and they were very good. I think it's a little over priced but for something as unique as this place it is justified. The gelato was good however when my daughter asked the server what the difference between ice cream and gelato was she couldn't answer the question. She just said she thought it was healthier. I was kind of shocked at that answer. I would have thought that would have been in training 101, but I guess not. Anyway don't let that detract you from stopping in. We had good food and a nice relaxing Daddy Daughter night.

Bomb crepes this place is amazing u can't beat the price for the quality. Also not a chain so u get that homie feeling even though it's very modern.

This place might be kind of expensive, but the food is good and it looks so nice and clean. Their tomato basil soup is really good. Only thing I wish they had the macarons by flavor so you know exactly which ones you are getting. The Le macaron in Winter Park does that. That is the only flaw though everything else is great. Their gelato (ice cream) is good too especially the coconut. :)

  • Michael G.

Really solid crepes and paninis with a great variety. Fresh and delicious. Gelato is also of excellent quality. Overall, a little pricey, but it hasn't stopped me from regular visits here.

Just came back from having dessert and it was just ok. I had the Dulce De Leche with Strawberry and it wasn't as sweet as I was expecting. The presentation was nice but it was missing something, perhaps some chocolate. We also tried the Gelato Amaretto & Chocolate and it had nice flavor. The service was ok. The waitress was efficient but not very friendly. She did not offer up any suggestions nor did she appear very interested or happy to be working. A smile goes a long way in the customer service industry and we didn;t get one. I might be back to try their panini's and food items.

I have been to 407 Cafe twice so far. Once I was with my mom and fiancee and I brought food over from next door while they ate at 407 Cafe. They liked their food and the server even brought me a sample of gelato even though I had food from someplace else. The next time I went it was with 3 other people. I ordered a sandwich with balsamic dressing, chick, cheese, and pears on it. It was very good. I forget what my companions ordered but everyone said they enjoyed the food. The server also brought us each a random sample of gelato. It is a nice touch. After we ate we ordered come gelato and I thought it was good, everyone else said it was great. I look forward to going back in the near future.

Good food, not too expensive. Excellent gelato. Nice seating inside and out. Modern looking decor. They do have a small selection of beer and wine. Friendly bilingual staff. I recommend the Panini sandwiches. They are very good.

Great Place. Very Clean and quite. Excellent food and a true European taste. Not like an regular chain or franchise really unique. 100% recommend for everyone.

  • Geri E.

I LOVE their crepes. So yummy. I love the dulce de leche. I ordered their Nutella and omg wayyy too much Nutella lol (not a bad thing) but I was overwhelmed I couldn't finish it all. Their prices range from 7 bucks to I think 10 on the crepes. Their crepes are big and may be good enough for two people. If you are like me however you can finish a crepe on your own with room for more.

Don't let the bad reviews deter you from giving this place a shot during lunchtime. Perhaps the management or staff has changed since 1 or 2 years ago. I come here with my coworkers on a semi-regular basis to order their savory crepes and gelatos. I have never had a bad meal here and the servers are quiet but sweet and quick. I usually order the Smoked Salmon crepe but I ask them to go easy on the cream cheese otherwise they tend to slather on a heart-attack inducing portion. The crepe is delicious and my favorite! My second favorite is the steak Dijon crepe which is a great savory combination. 407 also has an amazing selection of gelatos and, from my experience, is the most authentic tasting Italian gelato I've ever had in Orlando so far. The servings are pretty huge though so be prepared to leave in a food coma.

I made the mistake of going shopping at the mall right before school starts. A little rattled, I was looking for a nice treat to sooth the nerves and remembered a friend recommended Cafe 407 crepes. On entering the restaurant, the staff greeted me. As I reviewed the extensive crepe menu they made recommendations. I relaxed and enjoyed the grand floridian crepe and latte. The crepe was perfection. I can't say I have ever gone out of my way to get a crepe. This was a unique experience for me. I am going back. This is a great find. Next I might try a savory crepe!

  • Larry J.

Great place and the crepes are simply the best! Ice cream and coffee are excellent . The only think that keeps me not going to much is the price. To me is very high for crepes but nothing else to say and I will be back soon.

I've been coming here since they opened and it never disappoints!!! Ever! They are great. Food options are wonderful, they adjust it to your needs- or if you wan them to throw an egg in a panini or crepe that can do so. Service is always with a smile. I will say this, if you are a parent with little ones and you refuse to disciple them, have not addressed basic social setting behavior or are just too tired to care, please take them elsewhere. It's a small space and I like to enjoy my 10.00 panini and 4.00 caffeine fix without a side of your loud/undisciplined/disrespectful/messy toddler. Especially when my three year old is sitting there with his meal, wondering why you kid gets away with it and he doesn't.

One of our favorite local restaurants. Delicious sweet and savory crepes. The kids love the food too. And how many places can you find gelato? I've never have had to worry about MSG in anything I've eaten here.

407 Cafe is a good little find in Lake Nona, which doesn't have a lot of food options. It is a very casual place that, based on our only visit, had really good lunch options. 407's main selections include paninis, crepes, gelato , wine, and coffee drinks. My wife had the ham and cheese panini and a glass of chardonnay for lunch. She really enjoyed both. I had the Chicken Marsala panini, which was almost awesome. The menu promised a marsala wine reduction that forgot to make it to my sandwich. Even without the reduction, the sandwich itself was a great lunch sandwich. I also had the Strawberry and Nutella crepe to properly finish off the meal. The crepe was quite good. It's hard to mess up a crepe for me though. Service: The service was a little spotty. We weren't sure if it was a fast-causal concept (where we order at the counter and take care of ourselves), or it it was a traditional sit down restaurant. Because of the initial confusion on what to do, we ordered at the counter. There were 5+ staff members working and none appeared to be staffed to refill our glasses or take our plates away. Evenutally, a woman took our plates for us so that we had room for our crepe. Overall, we had a great lunch and the prices were bearable, though a bit high for a casual lunch in Lake Nona. We will be back again.

As I wait for my connection in dreary Cleveland, my spirits are lifted by thinking on last night, when a friend and I had dinner at 407 Café. We both absolutely loved it! Great service, sandwiches and gelato. When I say great sandwiches, I mean sandwiches that are to die for. We also got small salads that were presented incredibly well, with taste to match. Highly recommended!

This is a great and unique cafe.. I wish it had a better location. I think a Main Street where it's all walking friendly would be great! Food is delicious and all fresh! I come here often.. Highly recommend for breakfast, brunch or light dinner. Definitely great for dessert with their selection of desserts, and gelato!

First time here. Was in the area for work and yelped what was close for lunch. I had a hammy and strawberry crepe with spinach and moosarella. It was delish. I also tried the gelato, which they say in the best in central florida. It was had good flavor, but ai could taste the "freezer burn."They have a pretty large menu, everything looks good, the place is clean and quaint.

3 stars for delicious steak and mushroom panino and turkey and cheese croissant. Couple things that we didn't like is that while we were eating gelato our server just handed us our check without asking us if we'd like anything else. We had to call her back so we can order two last espressos. The espressos were horrible, tasted burnt and served without spoons or saucers. If we go back it will be only for a sandwich.

Very relaxed atmosphere! I brought my puppy by one time when I was getting a latte and they set out water for her in a dog bowl- so nice! I've had the tomato basil soup there, which was so good, as well as coffee. The food, as far as I have tried, has been yummy. Nothing crazy, but certainly appetizing. Their gelato is very creamy. I'm partial to lighter desserts like frozen yogurt, so maybe someone with more enthusiasm for thick, creamy gelato would love it. Good casual lunch date area. :)

Great unexpected experience having read previous posts. This would be a 4.5 for me if yelp allowed that. Started out with some great Italian espresso, very smooth and flavorful. We ordered the chicken marsala panini and the nutella crepe. They were both amazing! We finished the meal with torrone, hazelnut, and chocolate gellatos, which were amazing. I wish the waitress had let us know about the half sandwich and soup special. She could have been a little more knowledgeable about the panini offerings. The biggest drawback to this place is the price, for a cafe style joint, the paninis start at about $8 and everything else is on the pricey side for what they are. But again, everything was exquisite! I will be back!

  • My R.

Strictly ok. Although to be fair we ordered only the vegetarian crepes in their menu. They provided whole wheat or regular option for the crepe and while the wheat version sounded healthy-it tasted quite unsavory. Speaking of savory crepes tasted quite sweet so what was the point? The mushrooms and the veggies were raw too-definitely had better vegetarian crepes elsewhere. On the plus side the decor and location is quite nice and they seems to have some delicious looking gelato. Oh yeah and service was tad slow.

Chicken Marsala panini is great! Every time we get Grace and she really nice! Nutella paradise island Crepe is always good! Green tea is really good!

I've only tried the gelato here so I don't have any input on the meals. I can, however, say that the gelato is excellent and comes in a wide variety of flavors. Ask for their specialities or something a bit different and they'll be more than happy to explain the flavors with exotic names. I had such a hard time picking out a flavor that I ended up taking several home in to-go containers.

This is a nice little cafe in a convenient strip mall, serving crepes, paninis, salads and gelato, and it makes for a nice stop in your day. Also available are well made coffee drinks, hot and iced. While the prices are a little on the high side, as no sides are served with your main, I really enjoyed my time here. My iced latte was served in a fancy glass and sipping it outside on a breezy day capped off my relaxing afternoon... I am soon to return!

First off, this place has awesome crapes and great gelato. (+4) Their atmosphere is very hip. LED lights and modern decorations really give it a great touch (+1) Unfortunately when you walk in you don't know if you are suppose to a) go to the counter b) wait to be seated c) seat yourself. I just walked in a stood at the enteratence while the employees just stared at me. I was waiting for something like "are you looking to dine in or get something to go?" Apparently they weren't thinking that... (-2) If it had been a little less confusing and awkward then it would have been a stellar experience. Oh well.

407 Café is nicely decorated, always seems to be clean, and offers a menu that *looks* delicious! But, appearances can be deceiving. We visited this new Lake Nona establishment for lunch on our first visit. The Hawaiian Luau salad with pineapples, ham, mozarella, and fresh baby spinach was very appealing on the menu. So when it arrived, I was disappointed to find that it lacked flavor. Same thing with my wife's Capresa salad. Maybe I'm watching too much Robert Irvine, but I wanted the food to have more FLAVOR... i.e. seasoning! Service wise, everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful. However, it seemed to take an awfully long time to get a couple of cold salads on a day with little business. On our last visit to buy gelato at the counter, one employee was helping the people in front of us, and four others were talking to one another. I wasn't sure why one of them didn't come over to help us. We have been back several times for the gelato, and there are a large number of choices. So far, they've all been delicious! We will probably be back for more-- but we'll steer away from the lunch menu until we hear there's more flavor.

Servers are very cheerful and helpful. Such a delightful array of crepes from which to indulge and indulge you will. As well as an interesting variety of paninis. I went with the pear and brie panini and I was very pleased with my decision. My moccachino with a couple squirts of Toffee nut was truly one of the best I've ever had. I'm seriously Jonesing for one as I'm yelping.

  • Deanna H.

As soon as you walk into this place you are greeted with wonderful smells!! The ingredients are fresh and the crepes and paninis are made right behind a counter. I had the four cheese ballet and I did not want it to end! I also had three samples of gelato and they were all amazing. If I didn't live a hour away I would be here quite often!

  • Christa H.

We were surprised that it was as quiet at it was for lunch on a Sunday, but it was beautiful! Our server, Alejandro, helped me with my order when I was torn between the prosciutto and the capresa -- and ended up suggesting that I combine the two. It was a delicious sandwich, and my friend loved her Hawaiian crepe. The green tea we ordered to drink was cool and refreshing, and our gelato dessert tasted amazing, too (try the creme brulee or espresso flavors). I'll definitely be finding an excuse to go back!

Just moved to the Lake Nona area. After moving from the coast I am sad to leave the seaside and was not looking forward to Orlando. This place is walking distance from my hose and nothing short of amazing. If you want breakfast, lunch or a light dinner, this place is the absolute best! Delicious in every aspect, and gelato and various pastries to suit your sweet tooth. The decor and style of this place makes it even better as well. If you are in the Lake Nona, Orlando area, don't miss this gem.

Their dulce de leche gelato is very yummy! He rest of the menu looks good too. I'll have to go back to try one of their crepes or panini's. Very cute place!

This place is adorable and, for me, almost worth the long drive to enjoy a meal here! It's a small, little café located in a plaza in Lake Nona. If the weather is nice you can choose to dine outside (they're pet friendly ) too. They serve salads, paninis and, my personal favorite, both savory and sweet crepes. Everything is made to order so you know it's fresh. Anyways it's a little overwhelming going through the menu trying to figure out what you want. Since we were there for breakfast, I decided to go with a savory crepe. I made sure to do my Yelp research beforehand and thanks to Mariacristina R's review, I decided to try the smoked salmon crepe and also asked them to go light on the cream cheese (thanks for the tip!). The crepe was huge and more than enough to share . It was light yet hearty and very filling. Unfortunately, we were all too stuffed to order dessert. Not only do they have the sweet crepes to choose from but they have a great selection of gelato. Hope to save room for it next time. Service was great. Our server was attentive and our meals came out rather quickly with no long wait. Also, make sure to check your receipts for valuable coupons. On ours we found a $1 coupon off a gelato for next visit!

If you're stopping in for a coffee, I wouldn't bother. Oddly enough, being open early and having a great coffee making machine does not mean a good coffee will be had. Too acidic in flavor, too hot in temperature, too little offerings for sweeteners and dairy. None of the standard breakfast desserts either. Looks like a great place for breakfast if you're wanting crepes or sandwich croissants.

  • James M.

Is it good? Yes. Is it fancy? Is it clean/ nice? Yes. Is it expensive? Yes. The important question is "Is it worth it?" The coffee? Maybe a bit weak. The panini? Great. The crepes? Fantastic. It's a clean cafe. It smells great and the staff are very friendly. It's furnished with a very modern style and their equipment is high tech. It's worth going to. Check it out. Maybe you'll pay a bit more than you'd expect, but you won't be disappointed with them.

  • Antonio B.

I got the traditional crepe and loved it. Really hit the spot for my occasional cinemmon craving. My girlfriend loved her ham and cheese sandwich. The bite I had I loved. The interior was nicely decorated and the service was great. It's in a shopping plaza so parking is no issue. The only reason I didn't give a five was the coffee. My Americano black was solid but not great. They have late hours on the weekends so if I lived closer, I'd be a regular.

I had a party here for my daughter's 12th birthday. 10 (pre)teens, 5 adults, two tables, savoury and dessert crepés for everyone, drinks and ice cream. Service was great, and the food was amazing. We are all definitely coming back! Thank you for a great party, 407 Cafe :)

Crepes were good. I had nutella and banana. The panini's looked good but as i didn't try one so i can not comment further. I was however very disappointed to see prepacked loaf's and pastries in the display case. you can't miss the they still have the cellophane wrapper on them. I can get prepackaged lemon pound cake at a gas station. This place is better than that. The tea selection is decent and they serve a good quality tea (mighty leaf). The staff was very nice, Both ladies we interacted with were very friendly and welcoming. They seem to clean obsessively, when ever they weren't helping someone they were wiping something down. This place has alot of potential. I'll give it another shot

Stopped in for breakfast today. It was empty except for one other table that was already eating. It was nicely decorated-clean and minimalist- single bamboo plants on the tables and modern pendant lights above the preparation area. They serve paninis, crepes, and gelatos. The gelato selection is pretty big! I will have to go back to try some. The menu at the counter had a small selection of crepes and paninis. I chose a ham and cheese one. It took a very long time. It was almost 15 mins to get my one, simple crepe order. Yes, I know everything is made to order so I know it wouldn't be immediate; however, these are crepes and there was no one else in there to serve. While waiting and perusing the gelatos, I noticed there were additional menus on the counter with a plethora or crepe and panini choices. What the heck?! I would have like to have known that there were more choices. Turns out that I was given the child's menu instead of the full one. Not that it made a huge difference on this trip, but the full version of my crepe had additional items in it that the child's version didn't- fresh spinach and raw onions. Luckily, I was good with those. By the time I got to the office, the piping hot crepe was a little cold, but wow it was so good that I didn't even bother to reheat it. All in all, it's a nice little addition to the Lake Nona area, but it needs a few tweaks. The very friendly woman at the counter said to me, they've only been open for three months. I hope they can iron out the slowness of the orders and maybe work on the prices. $7.95 for a crepe? Ouch! That's a little high especially for breakfast.

Coffee here is decent, but the food was mediocre for the price. Tried the Breezy Pear and Brie panini that was recommended in another review, but found it bland and dry- a dull sandwich, no side, for $9. Huge disappointment. Maybe they should stick to gelato and crepes, which are supposedly good, but I'm not going back to find out.

So I came to this restaurant when it opened years ago and was horribly disappointed with the food. I came for for Gelatto for a while (which was awesome) and then stopped coming. I decided to come in again recently (maybe a year or so after they opened) and I am in love! The crepes were delicious (Chicken Marsala) and so was the salad (also chicken Marsala). It was very light and refreshing. I tried the coffee today and my cappuccino was perfect. This will become my go to place to do work when I have to leave the house. I guess it pays to revisit a place and not let opening first impressions cloud your judgement!

I have visited this place about four times now. Overall, the experiences have been good. Seems to be a locally owned place. We usually go for dinner and bring the kids. The paninis and crepes are excellent. I love the cheese panini on a baguette and the salmon crepe. They also have an excellent selection of quality gelatto with changing flavors. Just know that it is a bit pricey. In general the service is not speedy but mostly it has been acceptable. Also, they did not have their beer/wine license until recently. Here are the things the owners need to address to improve things: 1 - On our last visit we had difficulty getting service but there were six employees having a fun little discussion in the back. I love that they give the local kids jobs but they need to instill some professionalism in them. 2 - They only have one label of wine and unless you are huge grapefruit fan you probably won't like the taste of any variety. Get some decent wines! 3 - The beer selection is the Florida beer list circa 1992 (Corona, Corona Light, Bud, Bud Light, you get the point). Break out and get an IPA, Hefeweizen, and a Stout or Porter. They go with the food well. At least a Belgian beer. 4 - Due to the minimalist nature of the interior any sound is reflected. If there are any kids or loud conversations it can get quite loud. Add some sound deadening for a better atmosphere. Hopefully they will listen as this could be a great place and I like the convenience of the location.

Worst service E V E R!!!! These people really need to learn restaurant fundamentals. The food here is a solid 3 but the service was a solid ZERO. Let me tell you, In the course of 50 minutes I experienced the worst service I have ever encounter. When we walked in there were only 3 tables occupied which probably accounts for 20% of all tables. We stood there for about 5 min and not a single greet was given to us. After standing there we started feeling awkward so we proceed to make our own way and grab a table hoping that the young waiter would notice us. Nope. Another 7-10 min went by and we still had not been helped. Keep in mind there was barely any people in here and by no means was this place packed by any standards. So then I decided to get up and went up to this lady who was making sandwiches and asked her if I could have a menu, she had the audacity to tell me that someone will help me out and bring a menu to the table, but not making a big deal about it I insisted I just wanted to see real quick so she went ahead and handed one over. We went back to the our table picked our choice and sat there for another 5 min highly optimistic that the waiter will finally notice us and come to take our order. N O P E. I had to get up and literally go to the cashier and place the order with him directly. We ordered 2 paninis, a creepe and a coffee. We went back to our table and sat there for another 20 min and still no waiter, no coffee, no water. At this point I was starting to get a Lil bit aggravated by the whole situation, so I decided to flag the waiter down (which offered no aoplogies, I should note) and told him my wife had ordered a coffee 25 minutes ago. He said ok and I thought he went to get the coffee but it took another 10 mins for the coffee to show up. Really? 35 mins for a freaking coffee? Ok, so we got the coffee but still no food. After another 10 minutes the food finally showed up. Yes, it took them a total of 45 min to put out 2 paninis and a creepe. I can only imagine how long it would take them to put out food if the restaurant was remotely full. At the very least the paninis were actually good and so was the creepe, but not good enough to stand for the type of service they have to offer. At the end we knew better not to wait for the incompetent staff to bring the check so we went to the cashier and paid the steep price of shitty/snail service. Never again. I will not be back. First impression, people!! Don't think just because you bought a page on the My City Eats magazine you can disregard customers. Costumer and feedback can make or fail a business. Not magazines.

Simply stated this place is excellent. Great food and service. We commute from far away to eat here.. My favorite is the Salmon crepe with lemon! It is delicious! I have not tried the panninis but they look amazing...

The first time I came here I got a chicken panini. The service was so slow and the food mediocre, that it took me 2 months to return, even though I am in walking distance of this place. This second time I tried the salmon panini. After two bites, I was sure they had forgot to put the salmon in it. I opened up the panini, and found a slice of salmon so thin, that it was thinner than the spread that they used. The only reason this cafe doesn't get 1 one star is because of their gelato.

Just had the smoked salmon crepe with the tomato basil soup. The flavors of the crepe were good although I think it would work better if it was cold. It was like having a hot Philly roll. You know what I mean, right? The soup was good, but nothing extraordinary. With an iced tea, $17.68. I will go back to try more of the menu. The waitress was nice, but it doesn't count because I was the only one there at 3:30pm.

"If you're in O-Town and love classic genuine Gelato, you need to visit 407 Cafe in the Heart of Lake Nona, the new up and coming area of greater orlando. As of now all i've come here for is their Gelato, I've tried the different flavors like Almond and Peanut Butter, Super Delicious. Service is good and the ambience is perfect to take a significant other, by yourself, or a group of friends. I know they also specialize in Pan inis and Crepes but haven't tried em yet, as soon as I do, I'll Addendum this review and tell you about it.

After reading the reviews posted here I was a little worried, but we decided to go for it and give the 407 Cafe a shot anyways, and I'm glad we did. My wife and I were starving and each had a panini. I was a little scared, thinking it wouldn't be enough food after hearing that they didn't serve anything on the side. However, the ham and cheese panini I had was substantial, delicious, and presented beautifully. My wife's chicken marsala panini was also delicious and even though she was really hungry, she couldn't eat more than half of it. We decided to finish our meal off by sharing a "Kiss Me" gelati... it was really really good! A small shared between the two of us was more than enough, the quality of the ingredients and preparation were obvious. Service was good, and the general ambiance was really nice, if just a bit crowded (hey, they are stuck in a strip mall so they did a great job with the space they have). We loved the display of the gelatis. All together our experience with 407 Cafe was great. The only thing I could comment on is the price. Paninis and crepes range from about $8 - $10, which is not terribly expensive, but leaves us more likely to come here as a special treat than as a weekly brunch. However, I tend to be a cheapskate and the quality of the food more than made up for the price, so don't let that deter you from visiting. I would most definitely come back.

407 Cafe saved the day! We hopped off the highway on our way from MCO to Cape Canaveral. The paninis were perfect. Toasty, full of fresh tasty ingredients, and easy to munch on in the car. They open early, so I would definitely go back for the first coffee of the trip on our next visit. The owner even went behind the counter to share some really yummy gelato samples with us. She was clearly very proud of their terrific products. They do cute seasonal flavors like candy cane and eggnog, but I highly recommend the avocado. It was amazing and they had just as many delicious fruity sorbet options for my lactose-sensitive bf.

Nice modern interior, they have a very good amount of crepes and gelato. Staff was nice and attentive. The dessert crepes are priced accordingly, however the entree crepes I felt were a bit pricey for what you get. I had the beef stroganoff crepe and it did not resemble any beef stroganoff I have ever had. It had a red wine reduction and there was no cream whatsoever, which is what I was expecting. Would be nice to have a side to go with it for the price. I'd probably go back.

The Caprese Crepe can't be missed! Their menu is unique and completely stands alone when compared to the same old same old. The gelato is delish, too, but I still prefer Menchies..another Lake Nona favorite : - )

2nd time in and the customer service is non-existent. 15 minutes this time and no one came to the table so we left. Last time, took 10 minutes but gave them a chance considering there were 4 other people in the place. After we ate our food (which took 40 minutes to come out... for 3 paninis), we waited and waited for someone to show up and provide us with a check. I finally went to the counter and requested to pay and the guy seemed to not have a care in the world... Is this place a full service restaurant or counter serve??? I don't think there's going to be a third chance for this place and that sucks. New business in this area would be welcomed if the owner actually worked here and managed the crew. Sadly, another FAIL.

Trendy, clean and a change of pace. Ingredients are fresh, the presentation is great and a great variety of in-house made gellato. A wider selection of drinks will be great

As a resident of Lake Nona, it is a nice treat to have an establishment like 407 Cafe. The owners and staff are very friendly and proud of their business and are ready to make recommendations on options for Crepes, Gelatos and Sandwiches. They make the Gelato fresh on site a few times a week and if you can get a sample of one made that day, do it. SImply designed, this reminds me of a European style sandwich shop where you can stop for a simple bite to eat or a small desert or sweet. Worth a stop if you are in the area.

I absolutely love this place! Around 35 flavors of gelato. Indoor & outdoor seating avail. Crepes, salads and paninis are kinda pricey, but good. This place is a great secret as I have never been there when it's too busy!

Always great food and friendly staff! Don't be in a rush, good food isn't made by magic! It might take 10 minutes for your food to come out.
