Showed up here on a Sunday at 11:35am and was promptly told they didn't open until 12, then the door was shut and locked. This was after another couple was let in and served drinks.. I waited out in the heat with the misses for about ten minutes, then we decided to go to pizza hut. As we sit at the table here writing this review, I plan on never going back to Joey's, and I'm forbidding any of my employees from ordering food to our LOCAL business anymore. I decided to go to Joey's for lunch because I've eaten here for years, and I know Troy, and the owner personally. Well now that's over. You can thank your rude server for my choice to blackball you now. Cheers.

I read the past reviews, and decided to try it anyway since most of those reviews were old. Not knowing what to expect, we were surprised that most of the tables were full. The hot subs we ordered took some time, but it was worth the wait. The portions were large and very tasty. Yes, the atmosphere needed some work and ceiling tiles needed to be replaced, but for a small town mom and pop restaurant that has long hours, they put more emphasis on friendly service and food quality then building repairs that should be the responsibility of the landlord.

Great pizza and eggplant parmesan. When I lived in Okeechobee, I ate here regularly. It is small and a bit of a hole-in-the-wall but the food is consistent and the owner is great.

A little hole in the wall, that serves good pizza and meatball subs! YUM!!

Driving through town we decided to stopped and have pizza here. The waiter was very hospitable and joyful to see us there. As she promptly made good recommendations on the menu. We went with her advise and ordered. Before we knew it, our food was brought to the table nice and hot. We had the pizza which was just right on flavor and well done like we asked for it. Nice little gem in a small little town. Will stop again when we drive through here.

I haven't had the pizza but the antipasto salad was horrible. The cherry peppers were old and soggy. The meat consisted of ham, turkey, and roast beef which is more like a chef salad. The dressing was store bought. I believe that if you are going to offer salads, as a restaurant owner you should make your own dressing and also make sure your veggies are fresh. Won't be back and I don't eat much pizza. The cleanliness of the place was extremely questionable as well.

Joey's is a typical local pizza place, serving average pizzas but better than most chain pizza places. I tried the Calzone with Pepperoni and Mushrooms. The calzone was full of melted cheese and toppings and the crust was crispy.

Great pizza and wings. Getting pizza anywhere else in town is a waste of time. The wings are good and cost less than other restaurants in town. I recently noticed that they pay close attention to their customers names , this is a nice touch. I added another star because of this.

Man, is this place really still open, I haven't been to Okeechobee in awhile but last time I had pizza from here someone found a fingernail clipping in it, I figured it was closed cause that was years ago.

Delicious New York style pizza in a quiet mom and pop shop style setting. They have a good variety of authentic Italian food such as eggplant/veal parm, as well as stuffed shells(very good). Hot and cold subs too!

A kinda dumpy little pizza place that I wasn't crazy about once seated. I then got up to use the bathroom and experienced probably the dirtiest filthiest oldest literally falling apart bathroom I've ever seen. It was so bad I lost my appetite.

RIP OFF RIP OFF RIP OFF RIP OFF RIP OFF RIP OFF. Do not go to this rip off place. I ordered a pizza for delivery they charged my credit card and never delivered the pizza. The only reason that I gave them a star is you can't post without checking a star. RIP OFF RIP OFF RIP OFF. MINUS 10 STARS.
