Really great breakfast food even at 130 in the afternoon. Great hangover cure. I had the French toast combo and was left completely satisfied. Decent pricing, friendly staff, and quick service.... Definitely coming back.

I am devastated. This used to be one of my favorite breakfast spots in town. Their omlettes were out of this world, and their coffee was worth going out of the way for. But sadly, few months ago they switched ownership. There were small changes initially, but as time has continued (and the ingredients purchased by the precious owners ran out), the quality of the food has decreased significantly. The coffee is still good, and the wait staff is still awesome. If you're going to go, go for them, not for the food.

I go there often and the food is consistently good. The prices are awesome. The food is basic but fresh. The service is fast and the waitresses are friendly and helpful. You can also pre order dinner since they are only open for breakfast and lunch but they can make you a nice pasta for take out ( hint: the owner is Italian so the pasta is original ) a hidden gem

This place has been around a long time and the food is excellent. Have never had a bad meal here and you dont have to wait long for your food. The waitress my wife and I had was very cheerful and attentive. They now take credit cards and also offer take out. Tomeka will take good care of you,

This place has got to be there at least 30 years. Not sure if the name has remained the same all this time, but the consistently tasty dishes coming from here have. Great food at a great price! Worth checking out!

Diner truck stop food. Cheap and hot but not very good food. The place is always packed so I think people just like the price of the food rather than the quality. Biscuits and gravy taste like paste. Scrambled eggs taste like yellow food coloring and egg substitute.

I decided that after a year of going to this hidden gem of a restaurant, I would do the right thing and share the place I love with others. I don't know what they put in the food at this place, but I have become addicted to it. First, the service is excellent, friendly and quick. They remembered my name and drink order on my second visit. Kind, nice people. The menu is good size and its not too expensive. But the food? Lets stop for a minute and discuss the food. At Carlos they make good honest comfort food. They serve breakfast all day, so if you like breakfast for lunch like I do, this is the place. Breakfast specialties include, french toast, eggs benedict, and good ole steak and eggs. From there its smothered pork chops, chef salads, roast beef hot shot, and some excellent soups. The burgers and club sandwiches are top notch too. If you sit at the counter, you can watch the cooks in the kitchen making your meal. I have been pleased to see fresh ingredients being prepared in an honest wholesome manner. Maybe thats what I'm addicted to.
