Any donut that can taste as delicious on day 2 than it did on day 1 is for me! I visited Ocala recently and heard this was the place to pick up your breakfast needs, the only catch was you had to get there early because they were destined to sell out. I dragged my behind out of bed at dawn, made it to Tas-T-O's and munched on these tasty circles of sugary heaven for the remainder of the weekend. There is no store front here, it's a window where you order, glass so you can see the selection they have and enough space for them to hand you the donuts while you hand them the cash. (cash only btw). Everyone in the household loved these donuts, we tried all different flavors and did not see one left half eaten or un-enjoyed they were real deal delicious! I might have to hurry up and go back to Ocala just to have more of these glazed, sprinkled and dipped pieces of pleasure in your mouth! Simply amazing!

Cake donuts are in my opinion terrible no matter where they are made, yeast donuts are where it's at. And these yeast are very good.

Dee-lissh-shush! Had the glazed doughnuts - slightly crunchy on the outside and big and fluffy on the inside! Really good, can't wait to try their other flavors

I don't usually enjoy cake doughnuts. When it comes to Tas-T-O's however cake is the way to go. Their yeast raised doughnuts are a little too much like glazed bread. The yeast doughnuts lack the qualities which I attribute to truly ethereal doughnuts; simultaneously and paradoxically feathery-light, and, barely-eggy but very rich; also yielding to the verge of collapse at the notion of slightest pressure. In short these are just a step above (if even that) Publix doughnuts. The cake doughnuts, however, are another matter entirely. They are moist inside with a shell of thinnest crunch and have right on point density which doesn't weigh down the palate but is deeply satisfying. The flavor is on the subtle end but is present none the less. Verdict? My favorite cake doughnut ever. I can't wait to make ice cream sandwiches with these!

I had stopped a few different times at their location in Belleview. Got donuts on occasion, always craving them and praying they would be better than I remembered. Sadly, they were not. :o( and they always ended up in the trash, just a few short minutes later....with a couple of bites taken out......

Love the regular glazed they are really moist and dough is so YUMMY yes i dare to say this but they are better than Krispy Kreme!!!! The apple fritters are big and well worth trying!

Indeed, these are the BEST doughnuts for miles and miles and miles and more miles after that. But you have to get up really early or else forget it. In fact, I think they're only open in the mornings? And not on the weekends at all. So exclusive, but who cares? They're an Ocala landmark and they deserve the designation.

The best donuts I have ever ever had. Like a lot of people have noted- they sell out by mid-morning (which is a great sign). I've only been able to get a fritter ONCE; it's like a mythical unicorn at this point because they're always sold out.

Small Town donut shop! These donuts are so delicious! You do have to get up pretty early to get what you like. They close very early as they usually sell out!! I was very excited to drive by and see them open one morning as they are usually closed when we drive by. Sadly, my recent trip to the area they were closing and a new business was going in that spot, but they have other locations in Ocala which I will be visiting!

The go-to hole in the wall doughnut place. There's no sitting or going inside, instead just a doughnut display and a window to walk up to and order. However the doughnuts were amazing. The cinnamon fritter was to die for. I'd definitely recommend that anyone passing by Ocala stop by and eat. The only problem I had was that their jelly filling was not particularly good, but that was minor. Would definitely visit again.

Hands down the BEST doughnuts I've ever had! Get the apple fritter -- you won't be disappointed! I'm not a huge fan of cake doughnuts so I cannot speak to them, but the honeybuns, apple fritters and plain glazed mini doughnuts are perfection.
