Having just moved to North Port I have been searching for good pizza. Having been spoiled living just down the street from many world famous pizza places on Wooster Street in New Haven CT. I must say we loved this place and will be back for sure. Its New York style and delicious! We ordered sausage, mushroom and spinach for one pie and tomato and peppers for the other. So very tasty! The staff was helpful and so very friendly! We will be back often!
So yummy. I had a white pizza with meatballs. It was delicious! We also had a pepperoni pizza that was delicious too. Everyone was very nice and even called back to make sure he heard my pick up time correctly so he didn't start it too soon. Will definitely order again or go in to eat.
I finally decided to try oregano's pizzeria and bakery and boy was I surprised! When I called I ask if their pizza was New York style and I was told it's New York pizza; it is authentic New York pizza. I ordered a 14 inch pepperoni mushroom and extra cheese and it is absolutely delicious. I have eaten pizza in a number of locations in New York and this is every bit as good if not better than most of them! The bakery has cannolis baklava Napoleons biscotti and several varieties of Italian cookies, I bought cannolis that are delicious! Excellent work guys, glad to have you in the neighborhood keep up the good work and I'll do my best to get your name out there because your pizza is worth it!!

I would have taken a photo of the Apple Fritters but I ate them too fast. They are simply amazing. If you live anywhere within 100 miles of this place, stop what you're doing and drive there now. Open 5 am because no one can wait until 7. I don't even like donuts but this is a whole new level of awesomeness.
I usually shy away from donuts given the load of empty calories they pack. But on Saturday we stopped to get some apple fritters for an elderly lady we were going to visit. So what the heck, we got ourselves an apple fritter and a jelly donut for good measure. Well what can I say but these donuts are truly outstanding. Plus, where can you get this kind of quality at $1.25 a pop? We will definitely be going back and sharing the wealth with our neighbors.
Donuts are amazing!! Always a special weekend treat to stop at Abbe's! A great place to have in North Port. I dream about the maple glazed yeast donut...

Patty G says a little pricey. I will gladly pay a bit more for a high quality product. Remember, you don't have to leave a tip. The quality is worth "a little pricey".
I definitely enjoy the polite and courteous staff. They are responsive to my needs and always try to accommodate a reasonable request. The food is always fresh and the soups piping hot!! If taste is key then the smokehouse turkey is the master. Keep up the great work!
Excellent place for a tasty lunch. Nice variety, plus the breads and pastries are delicious. Only negative thing I have to say, is they are a bit pricey as compared to other restaurants that offer similar selections.

This is one of the few non-chain places to get pizza in or around North Port, and it's my family's favorite, by far! Their BOGO carry-out special makes their prices competitive with those "$5 pizza" places, and the flavor is so much more authentic! They offer four different crust styles, but we always get New York style. We order these pizzas by the pair, and often order an extra two so we can have leftovers the next day. Imperial also offers wings, subs, salads, and dessert pizza.
Good pizza with great delivery people. Never been disappointed. My favorite is regular crust. Not too thick or too thin.

Reviews:
Although the food is pretty good and the prices are fantastic, I will not be going back to this "family" restaurant. The hostess at this restaurant was not very "family" friendly. The hostess would not accommodate us with a safe table for our 3 month old baby because they were too busy. We were seated at a table that was in front of the entrance to the kitchen and at the beginning of the buffet line and we were given two chairs pushed together to put the infant carrier on. When I expressed a concern she got defensive and said there was no where else she could put us due to them being so busy and other locations would have been a fire hazard? We even said we were perfectly fine with waiting for another table, she said she had nothing else and walked away. The people we were with still wanted to eat here so we begrudgingly did. However my wife and I have vowed not to eat here again.
Have always ordered our food to go, never had any issues with our food, always very good and fresh. The only complaint is they are closed for dinner on Sunday! haha Seriously North Ports hidden gem. I highly recommend to everyone. Prices are extremely fair as well.
We have breakfast here twice a week, every week. The two and three egg specials are a great value. If you're a power eater try their Sunday breakfast buffet. A large variety of food and reasonably priced. If you looking for "fancy" this isn't your place. If you're looking for good down home cooking give it a try.

Best burgers! Chef cooked them perfectly! We will be back
had the salmon and pasta, was a great meal! and the house red was a decent wine . the service was excellent .
Please move the singer outside! Dinner conversation was impossible tonight. He's good...but...the room is too small. Also--deliver bread with the meal. Shouldn't have to ask half way through dinner, "Where's the bread."

Zio’s Pizzeria Restaurant

Reviews:
Simply the best! The owner is fantastic and makes you feel welcome, as if in his home. Emily is an absolute sweetheart. We hardly ever have to recite our orders, she always remembers our choice drinks and food, impressive considering we've been here only five or so times. It's a can't miss in North Port. The food is a gluttons dream. The Gnocchi Bolognese is a home run and a steal at less then 12 bucks. The Red Mussels are divine, especially when paired with their glass of Chianti for $4.75. What!? Absolutely unheard of for a glass of wine in Southern Florida. Yep. I'll get fat for this. Absolutely will.
I have eaten in this new restaurant, and ordered takeout meals. Either way the service is very quick. The pizza sauce is amazing!! I usually order pizza with light sauce because I don't like the flavor, but this sauce is excellent! The Chicken Caesar salad is delicious. The stromboli is HUGE, and I just ordered the small one! The garlic knots...just Yum! The heaping bowl of Fettuccine Alfredo served as two meals! The staff goes out of their way to make you feel like family. If you want a piece of Brooklyn, stop by Zio's. :)
Not really sure where all of these reviews are coming from.... Maybe employees at work here. I went to this place and ordered their Chicken Pasta. Their pasta was under cooked and their chicken was over cooked. The sauce had absolutely no flavor whatsoever. The one good thing I guess is the owner was there that night and he was very friendly. Although, the customer service doesn't overtake the bad food this place cooks up. I don't recommend this place to anyone! No wonder they are always empty when I drive by.

This is by far, one of the best restaurants in this neighborhood. The food, wine, people are bar-none!!!?? We love it and is always out First place to eat! Please enjoy dinner here!!!!
The most simplest of reviews go our 1st visit to La Rocca: quaint, incredible, delectable & inviting. Nicole & her family, "team", are hands down the friendliest of people; sharing her story of her success, all the while never forgetting her & families beginning. We are here for 4 nights & plan to return Saturday night, to try Nicole's pizza that she raved about as we divulged our pasta dinners(the shrimp alla vodka is to die for); and for my picky dinner partner, he enjoyed the spaghetti with meat sauce). This gem of a restaurant is a must visit!!
We chose this restaurant based on other reviews and we were thoroughly pleased. The owner greeted us and explained the food and wine, which was very helpful. We ordered the Rocca Della Macie chanti and it was great for the $28 price. I had the Penne LaRocca and it was fabulous! The bruschetta was also a must try.

First Watch

First Watch... I gave them a last chance. I came here for breakfast with the in-laws, not my choice but I thought I would be open minded and try them again. We arrived with what started out as a ten minute wait, which was extended to twenty when our table of 4 was given to a party of 2. I ordered the pumpkin pancake breakfast which was apparently "brought back by popular demand." I think the people that were demanding it had no sense of taste. The eggs were plain as expected, but I was not expecting it to be the best part of my meal. The Aideus chicken apple sausage, which I love and will occasionally purchase at the grocery store, was about an inch and a half long, split down the middle and left on the griddle till it was thoroughly burned. On to the namesake of my meal, the pumpkin pancake. It was a pancake, I can give them that. It had no flavor, not of pumpkin or even a regular pancake. I thought I would at least have the taste of maple and put some syrup on it. No matter how much I put on it, the syrup was just a sticky, viscous water, not even sweet. So, that sums up my first and last trip to North Port First Watch.
I admit I tend to prefer eating at local joints over chains, but I've heard such great things about First Watch that I figured where better to try it than in Florida! (Not to mention there's a dearth of brunch places around here.) The menu was almost overwhelming because everything sounded SO good. I love that there are so many options with lots of veggies and that most things come with potatoes (I love me some breakfast potatoes!) I was between the chickichanga (?) and the market hash. Ended up going with the hash on the waitresses recommendation and it was awesome! Even bonus surprise that it came with fruit (mostly pineapple! Yum). I also liked that they let you add/subtract whatever you want, so I added some avocado. For all you get, I'd say this place is a great deal. Lots of food, but I didn't leave feeling disgustingly full either. Perfect! Will definitely be back.
I walked in hoping for a quick meal before work and then wanted call in to work late! The food tasted amazing and the service friendly. Adrian (I hope I spelled that right) was my server. She knew her menu, recommended a great side selection and had a smile the whole time. She refreshed my drink when needed but did not constantly interrupt when she saw I was reading the news. That I really do appreciate The wi fi works well, just remember to accept the terms and my phone was loading fast as lightning. I very much recommend First Watch and will return soon!!
