Not only is the food great, the service is excellent! We had a group of women celebrating a birthday and the staff was very accommodating. They let us in before they were even open, let us set up, turned the lights down when we had the candles lit on the cake, turned fans down when we were cold, took pictures with our camera phones, took the time to separate our tickets and made us all feel special and blessed. They even put the candles on a cake we brought, lit the candles and cut the cake! Thank You to both of the guys helping us! We had a WONDERFUL and MEMORABLE day and the FOOD was FANTASTIC as always! Thank You! We will ALL be back! :) (They have the best antipasto salad, pizza, etc. and you HAVE to try their Homemade Pretzels!)

Advertised as "Florida Panhandle's Famous - BEST Italian Food With An Attitude" I respectfully disagree. The dinner entrees seem overpriced for the quality of food received. I ordered the Ziti special and it reminded me of something you can make at home with store bought Prego pasta sauce and Ronco noodles. One particular staff member was rude but the waiter that served us was friendly and helpful. For dessert we ordered the lemon cake which surprisingly was tasty (not cold or frozen but made fresh) considering the rest of the meal was subpar. VinneR's is comparable to Fazoli's a fast food italian restaurant, except more expensive.

They have the best pizza ever and I'll never enjoy any other. They offer take n bake which is the best if you want to eat it at home. Good service and friendly staff. I highly recommend.

I would have rated Vinnie R's 5 Stars based on food alone in my past dining experiences but when I arrived they quickly started losing stars. For starters, train your waitress. If you wait on a table ordering foreign beers bring a bottle opener. On our 2nd order I had to ask her for a bottle opener, she readily had it available. Iced cold cups were not offered again we had to ask. We ordered the bucket it gets 6 beers for the price of 5. We ordered 6 different beers called the world sampler. One beer was short and it was replaced with a Corona? Excuse me a Corona? Come again. I asked the waitress to switch out the Corona with one of the other beers we ordered. We didn't order a Corona. She argues with me and refuses to switch it out. Leaves and asks her manager he decides to replace the beer charging us the most for the bucket 6 beers for $22.00 so we finally get all 6 beers but without the bucket so our beer sits and gets warm. As the waitress continues to glare and be 'smart' with me due to my disapproval of the Corona. Put the attitude aside sweetie and grow the hell up. I used these exact words to my husband, "she's a dumbass'. I ordered a water at the beginning of the service, I didn't get the water until we signed our credit card bill. I ordered the seafood melody pasta, the pasta sauce tasted like it came right out of a Prego can. The seafood did not taste fresh at all. Oysters were over cooked. The meal was way over priced at $15.99. Needless to say I won't order that again, or even go here again for that matter because the service is so bad. They do have great lasagna though. I will give them that.

Everything I've had a Vinnie R's has been terrific. It's a casual atmosphere with great food. They serve salad, subs, pasta, and NY style pizza. Beer and wine are available. The prices are very reasonable.

Our server Cole on top of his game..top notch service, ask for him. We had brushetta, ASK FOR MORE BALSALMIC REDUCTION.!!! and an IV bag to get it , into your system faster..great stuff. Ordered cheese bread or something...these little garlic bread fingers came out....holy crap dont miss out. Cheese on the pizza is of quality, I asked for crisp crust, and no burnt cheese..delivered exactly like I ordered. I guess they have read the dictionary here? Once again server very attentive, im not that picky on service, I usually ignore "bad service" reviews because of so many diff expectations out there. Come here if you want a quality meal, and yes im a big fat ass that likes good food...

Oh man. I am such a huge fan of Italian food. I grew up in Upstate NY and have a seriously hard time finding good NY-style Italian food in the South. To complicate matters, my husband doesn't particularly like it, so while I'm traveling for work, I make a point to eat ALL THE PASTA. I found Vinnie's while staying at the nearby Hampton Inn. It was slow there early on a Monday evening, but service was great, and my food was awesome. This place is everything a Yankee girl could want. I had the Eggplant Parmesan with a side salad. Yum!

I've never sent food back in a restaurant, but this place is the exception. I ordered the pollo rustica (which included chicken, spinach, mushrooms, and roasted red peppers over a penne). There was nothing fresh in the entire dish! Frozen spinach, canned tomatoes something that looked like peppers and to top It off it was cold. I tried to savor it, however I couldn't even choke it down. I almost forgot they chicken orzo soup to start with was cold as well. (I wish I would have read the reviews first since this seems to be a trend here). After I sent it back, the lady (must be manager or owner) came to the table and casually mentions "I heard there was a problem".. I told her that everything was cold, politely and she offered no apology or anything. As I was leaving, there were quite a few people waiting for tables, but the place wasn't full at all.. Sad, but true.. It's unfortunate because it close to the neighborhood. I would recommend NYPD pizza just a few miles away. Good luck!

My wife and I loved this place. If you are looking for a fancy dinner, don't come here. If you want a relaxed family atmosphere with good Italian food and service, give them a try.

My boyfriend and I ate at Vinnie R's last night. Upon walking in, the restaurant was half empty, yet we were told there would be a five minute wait. Okay, weird, but no problem. We were seated and began to look at the menu. I decided on a half portion of the spinach shells with the garlic butter sauce under 'create your own' pasta. My boyfriend ordered a Stromboli. At the very last second he realized they didn't include pepperoni in their Stromboli. What the hell? We are from New Jersey, so this meatless Stromboli concept was very strange to us. We also ordered the spinach dip. The spinach dip was served with a huge amount of dip and a few bread slices. The dip itself was bland and had huge shavings of artichokes, which would have been fine, but they needed to at least be seasoned. It only tasted like frozen spinach. I got a small garden salad with my meal. I ordered the house dressing. It was like mayo and Italian seasoning. Kind of weird. Our entrees arrived and I was just shocked. His 'Stromboli' was actually a pizza turnover. It was not rolled up, and the sauce came inside. My dish was simply three jumbo shells with spinach and ricotta cheese inside, with garlic sprinkled on top. Raw minced garlic. I am a garlic freak so this was fine, but I thought I ordered a butter garlic sauce? That implies sautéed garlic, to me at least. Oh there was butter - about an inch-thick puddle of it beneath the pasta. Again, both dishes lacked seasoning. I should have asked for garlic powder. The 'garlic rolls'served with the entree were about a quarter of an inch big, again sitting in a pool of butter, and had Italian seasoning sprinkled on top, it looked like. The atmosphere was kinda cool except there were plastic frogs all over, and three mystery pitchers containing three different liquids that sat there the entire time we were there. They could probably also ditch the old fashioned ceiling fans and get some nicer light fixtures. This place has a lot of potential. Maybe the chef tries harder in the warmer months when there are more people to serve?

First time trying this place and I'm very disappointed in it. I built my own pasta since they didn't have chicken alfredo on the menu. What Italian restaurant doesn't have chicken alfredo?! So anyway, I got penne pasta, Alfredo sauce, and grilled chicken on it. The pasta was not thoroughly cooked and was cold. The Alfredo sauce was not appetizing. I have had better Alfredo sauce that's come out of a jar! The chicken tasted like lunch meat and was not grilled. The rolls were ok. But, the entire meal was cold as well. I will not be eating here again. So take it from me, don't waste your money coming here.

My husband, daughter and best friends came for lunch here. The appetizer was good but took awhile for them to bring and the main meal really took awhile so don't come if your in a hurry. The food was very good and the waiter was friendly. The reason I give it 3 stars is because of the wait time and there was not a lot of people in the Resturant so it should not have taken 1 hour for us to get our food!

Since I recently moved into a new area, I wanted to try all the restaurants around inorder to find some local favorites. Naturally, I crave Italian. I mean, who doesn't? It's some of the best food in the world. Obviously Vinnie R's poped up on the good old Google search. The advertising around town said this place is the best Italian around. Shockingly the online reviews were all very negative. But I never listen, like I should and my boyfriend and I decided to go try it out. Because, goddamn it, I'm going to get me some Italian. I was so disappointed. And a little appalled. When we came in the, very unfriendly, waitress showed us to our seats. The decore looked somewhat okay. The typical "fake" Italian restaurant. The waitress slapped the menu down and barked for us to order. Lady, give us a second. You might be having a bad day, but don't take it out on paying customers. My boyfriend ordered a pizza, I ordered some pasta alfredo. The two easiest italian dishes ever. How can you screw that up, right? The first sign of trouble was the garlic bread. It was so soggy, it felt like a sponge. And whoever made it used too much garlic, so after one bite, you had to chug some water. So after waiting 45 min, with barely anyone else in the restaurant, our meals came. My boyfriend's pizza was passable. I mean, Papa Jon's is better (yeah, the bar is THAT low folks), but it was fine. But, good god, my pasta was so salty I couldn't eat it. I tried, I really did. I probably put more effort into it than I should have. I told the waitress that my pasta had the salt content of ocean water. I said I'd love to retry it, if they made it again or they could just comp me the meal and I'd just eat some pizza. As expected, she blew me off. And I don't take kindly to being blown off. After a little bit of dialoge (aka, her going off about how I was wrong about the salt content in my ocean pasta and how there was nothing she should do) I asked for the manager and the reply was, "they're not in right now. Sorry. You just need to deal with me." They're not in right now? Oh really? I was so close to getting up and walking out of there without even paying, but my boyfriend calmed me down. We left without getting a refund or replacement for my meal. Or without giving any tip. HEED THE REVIEWS. Don't ignore them like I did. This place is a hot mess.

8 at night with a three year old. Homade mozzarella sticks. Yum. Homade lasagna. Fabulous. Mac n cheese. Three year old scarfed it after he said I'm not hungry. Shrimp scampi with angel hair pasta. Pasta perfectly cooked sauce cheesy and melt in your mouth, shrimp was larger than expected and cooked perfect with melted butter. Pizza with Homade marinara and toppings were fab. Service was spot on with Giovanni. Want to come back and eat more items. Salad was awesome Italian salad. Homade deliciousness. Wish this restaurant was closer to me. I would have taken a pic but we licked the plates clean Before I realized I didn't have a picture. Go. Eat. Enjoy.

I called for some takeout. I asked how big is your lasagna? The person told me it would be about a pound. I got the lasagna, it weighs less than a half a pound. Now I'm still hungry. And it was very thin and not satisfying at all.

Best Pizza in Town! Always have great service as well. Hannah was the best waitress -attentive and freindly, didnt have to ask for anything (nice change from many other places) Wish the shells were fresh, they did taste frozen, but the Lasangne seemed fresh and husband loves baked ziti and speg. I found it funny that some had bad reviews about the service - makes me think they must be nasty rude people to begin with because i have eaten there on and off for four years and the one thing i can say is, i ALWAYS found the wait staff to be warm and friendly. Also t ry to ask for veal , its not on menu but if they have it fresh they will servce it in a parm for you.

The restaurant didn't have but a few people in it when we went for dinner, but the waiter didn't seem to be able to check up on us every now and then to keep our drinks filled. The food is nothing spectacular and lacks flavor, a bit bland. They had eggplant parmesean and veal parmesean the same price... tell me how eggplant and veal cost the same??? Won't be back again...

Nice atmosphere, OK service. Ordered the pizza which was the special for the evening- order a large and pay for medium. Asked for one topping of Italian sweet sausage..... FINELY ground something was on it in sparse amount. Crust was dry, tasteless and resembled cardboard. The sauce was light and good with pieces of tomato. Lots of cheese and seasoning. We've eaten other meals here which were good and will visit again- just won't order the pizza! Took some back to our hotel which was actually better the next day after it was warmed up as the crust was now soggy and soft!

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
