New and improved! The owners Sue and Eddie have completely remodeled their amazing little restaurant! This is my favorite place for sushi, beef teriyaki and mango salad. Prices are the best around and the food is phenomenal. Don't pass this place up because of the strip malls appearance. Come in and visit, or take something home to enjoy!

Great sushi even better service.... Never have I felt so at home in a restaurant my first visit! They have really got something unique here... It's definitely worth a trip down the east trail!

After a week of grilled burgers and fried grouper, we were ready for a change of pace. Enter Tokyo Sushi. The reviews were solid, and our group of three late twenties-New Yorkers weren't feeling all that picky about our spicy tuna. What we found at Tokyo well exceeded our expectations. The sushi chef and, I'm assuming, owner, Sue, pleasantly greeted us at our seats. (As an aside, she's absolutely adorable and has an infectiously large smile.) Throughout our meal, our server was knowledgable, attentive, and friendly. The sushi was fresh, well-executed, and satisfying--we ordered a bunch of rolls to share. The Lovers Roll was my favorite. We also ordered edamame and gyoza, both of which I'd probably skip next time. The edamame was run of the mill, and the steamed gyoza were a little watery. Overall excellent experience. We come to Naples to vacation a few times a year and this will definitely be our go-to sushi spot. Looking forward to being back!

Delicious Sushi lunch. Wonderful seaweed salad, and the monster roll was fantastic! Verry attentive service. I felt like I was a guest in their home. Thank you!

I really like this place. It has a homey feel and a very relaxed atmosphere. Prices are reasonable for what you get. I went in there to escape my family and unwind and it was just the ticket. It's a family run place I think, and I love that too. This is a solid sushi restaurant with a chill vibe and run by really nice people. I kind of wished they had wi-fi, but whatever. Looking forward to going back.

Delicious sushi and rolls. Great bargain. Sue and her husband have owned the place for 20 + years. They remodeled a year or so ago. Not fancy, but can't be beat. The owners are very personable and friendly. It is quickly becoming one of our "go to" restaurants in the area.

Not an authentic Japanese Sushi restaurant. They were out of so many basic items like Tamago, the sweet omlette, sake, and fish roe (eggs)

Visiting the west coast of Fla. and eating gluten free is always hard to do. We came here because of Yelp and we were truly amazed. I ordered gf hand rolls and gf soy. I got the freshest and most delicious spicy tuna and crunchy spicy salmon I have ever had. Well done chef, very well done. My partner had edemame and a mexican roll and a tokyo bomb roll that was crazy delicious. This place is a hidden gem. You must try it, you will love it.

Fantastic food! You may have to wait a little while since it's a family owned business but so worth it! We have a wonderful experience every time we eat here! Thanks for such great sushi in Naples!

We came to eat here for the very first time today and I was very impressed with not only the quality of food, but also of service. I frequent many different sushi restaurants and I have to say that this particular restaurant has that mom and pop feeling toot that you rarely see this day in age. Upon getting seated, the server immediately asked for beverages. While he was away getting out beverages, one of the sushi chefs walked over to our table to personally ask us if we had any questions that could help us decide what to order. Our appetizers came fairly quickly, and our main course came shortly after. We were never left waiting and as soon as we finished eating they offered to give us the check. This was a great experience! The dragon roll and salmon sashimi that I had was prepared masterfully! Two thumbs up! I highly recommend this restaurant and i am sure to be back soon! Granted, we were one couple of only 3 in the restaurant, so it might have been a slow day. But even on a slow day, I was very impressed!

The server was very nice. But food service was not that great because we got some food and had to wait for a while before we got the rest. Sushi was ok ok.

Visited Naples for the first time this week and after reading many reviews on numerous Sushi restaurants in town we decided to go with this one.......and it was the right decision! I am a very picky eater and that dynamite roll was dynamite!! Try that roll! Very good service from nice people. Freshly and tasty food. Overall, 1st time eating sushi in FL and was very satisfied w this choice. We had a great time as well as great service! One person with us does not care for Sushi but she had the Chinese food and it was delicious!!

Excellent Sushi and Freshly Made including Spicy Tuna or Salmon which are chopped and not ground into a paste. Wonderful Home feel to the place, and like others say total Mom and Pop (and Grandpa was there too that day). 25 years Sue has been making Sushi! Highly recommend. I had a Snapper Handroll, Shrimp Tempura Roll (nice a crispy!) and a Dynamite Roll which was red and white tunas chopped with mayo(?) and served with siracha sauce on too. Excellent!

Those who don't travel to East Naples are missing a gem. Restaurant used to be a dive but is now freshly remodeled. Sushi is fresh and fish is generously proportioned. The sushi here definitely beats most of the higher priced Downtown and North Naples joints. Staff is friendly and helpful including Sue the owner. Have always ordered Sushi but based on positive comments from other tables have to try some of the cooked entrees.

Recommend the Lovers Roll & Spider Roll. Delicious sushi! Restaurant is in strip mall - don't judge a book by its cover or location!

We have been to Tokyo Sushi probably 4 times over the years we have been visiting Naples as winter snowbirds. It is absolutely the freshest sushi we have ever eaten in the area. The owners are really nice people and very helpful. Don't be put off by the location in a rather sad looking stripmall - this place is very special. The prices are really good, too.

On Wednesday night we double dated with my son and his wife for sushi! The lady there was so sweet and made us what ever we wanted. We had an incredible meal with a variety of items and drinks. While the interior is not fancy but clean, the food was fantastic!! Prices were excellent and the service was great. Would go back in a heart beat!!

This has been my go to sushi place for years. Excellent sushi and very reasonable prices. Absolutely love the big Tokyo roll. It looks like a dive restaurant but the sushi never disappoints! Sue is also the sweetest lady ever.

Nice little strip mall place. Sushi was good as was their other Japanese fair that we ordered. The place was dead at lunch time. We were the only people there. However, we were down in the area during the off season for tourism so that might have had a little to do with it.

Another great gem in East Naples! Off the beaten path, in a strip mall just south of Airport & 41, exists this newly renovated mom & pop Japanese sushi house. Service is welcoming and friendly. Dishes are prepared as old family recipes. A must try.

I would say to try this place at least once, for many reasons. First, the owners are an older couple...the woman does the sushi at the bar up front and the man does the cooking in the kitchen. Such a cute older couple.....makes you want to go back and see them. It's a cute little restaurant, clean, and low key ambiance. Food: ok. Not the best sushi or cooked dishes, but not bad either.

This place is phenomenal!!! Newly renovated & immaculate! Friendly staff, and super nice. If there is something you desire but don't see it on the menu, please ask. The hot & sour soup, which was not on the menu, was the BEST I've ever had. The sushi was the finest & freshest. Excellent overall. I will be back!

Every single time I am here, the staff is friendly and attentive, sue the owner (I think) is always working and speaking with customers, the food is always fresh, clean, and delicious, and they redid the restaurant! It looks fabulous!!! I would come here every day if I could!! Thanks for always being amazing!

Beef teriyaki was expensive and fatty. The sushi and steamed dumplings were just decent.

Best best best place for sushi in all of SWFL! The food is exceptional and Sue is a total sweetheart and remembers us and greets us warmly every time we come in. Our favorite is the spicy spider roll! Some days when the restaurant is a little full, it takes a few extra minutes to get our sushi, but we don't mind one bit because it is carefully made just for us and it is absolutely delicious.

I stopped here today for the first time as I read good reviews about it on Yelp. I really enjoyed the food and rate it 5 stars but my overall experience I have to rate 3 stars. We ordered miso soup to start. I have never had miso soup with tempura in it (I think that's what it was) and it was good but I could've done without the tempura in it. After our soup we waited a long time for our gyoza and was wondering what was taking so long but they forgot to bring it out so we never got to try it. We waited about 35-40 minutes for our food to come out and we only ordered three rolls (spicy salmon, spicy tuna, lovers roll which was recommended on the menu and was very good). Unfortunately they did not have brown rice which I was bummed about as I prefer brown rice instead of white rice for health and diet reasons. There was only one other table besides us and they got there after us and actually got their food first! We were angry about that especially because we had to be somewhere at a certain time. Honestly though the owners were very nice but they are older in age and looks like they make all of the food themselves so they are slow moving. They could use some help to speed up the process of getting out orders. The restaurant itself is very clean and intimate with tables and booths and has a nice decor. I definitely recommend going there if you have time to spare and are in the area because their sushi is very good. If you want a quick sushi meal then go elsewhere.

Have you ever wondered why you have taste buds? I am in my 7th decade and finally found out. It is to be able to savior the sushi at Tokyo Sushi. I have been eating sushi for many of these 7 decades and I simply have not had better sushi. My favorite is the sushi appetizer. I found out about Tokyo Sushi via Yelp about a week ago and have been back 3 times since. Eddy and Susan are very gracious and happy to speak with all of their customers. As a matter of fact Eddy sits with me as I have my sushi to keep me company. I have been told it has recently been renovated. They did a great job. The sushi prices are the best I have found in Naples. Please let me encourage you to do yourself a favor and try Tokyo Sushi. One caveat. I only go for dinner. The sign on the door says they open in the afternoon. I think this is only during the week. I think Eddy and Susan sell the vegetables they grow at home at Farmers Markets. You might want to call if you are going before 6:00PM. Please enjoy. Regards Jim

Amazing, fresh sushi from a mom and pop restaurant for the best price you will find anywhere! This is not a fancy upscale place to dine but rather a warm and comfortable family-style environment. We ordered the soft shell crab roll ($8.95) the spicy shrimp roll ($5.95) and the red snapper sashimi ($9.95). Everything was wonderful and the clear soup is much better than Fujiyama's or Blue Fish. Service is always very gracious and welcoming. They even have a little corner where they sell used toys and hand-made jewelry. Located in the Save-a-lot plaza next to Baells on US41. I try to go here for take out every other week to satiate my Sushi fix.. Tokyo Sushi (239) 775-3388

My husband and I went here for dinner recently and thought that both the food and service were great. We got the seaweed salad (which was delicious!), some rolls and eel sushi. All the food was made fresh, very tasty and the place was chill and relaxing. We'll definitely go back.

Very nice little place for a strip mall sushi joint... sushi was tasty, service was like being at home... and no after-effects!

Excellent, fresh sushi for a great price! Definitely going back and highly recommended! Finally sushi where the rolls aren't smothered with rice and the spicy tuna isn't ruined with mayo! ++ It's a small family owned restaurant, service is welcoming and friendly and the price was very reasonable. We ordered 3 rolls and an order of salmon sashimi (5 big slices) all for under $30. The fish is fresh, delicate, and melts in for mouth.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
