Great place- friendly staff, solid simple food and decent prices. Very good for the area and the locals. Fish sandwich and blueberry pie is always a winner. Before I moved I went weekly with my grandmother and we loved it

Three stars is about right for this establishment. The menu is similar to what you find at Mel's Diner or Blueberry's. A lot of breakfast and lunch selections. Nothing too much out of the ordinary. They have a liquor license so you can have a beer with your pancakes. They have a nice outdoor area. Parking is a bit challenging but there's another lot to the left of the restaurant. When it's crowded, it gets really loud, like cafeteria loud. Nice to come to in the off season if you want a cheap decent meal. In season, I would avoid as it gets real crowded and very noisy.

Was going to one of my favorite breakfast spots in Naples when I saw all the flags and banners saying "hey we are open"!! I have not had any other meal here other than my breakfast. I ordered pretty standard breakfast food. Fried eggs, sausage patties, potatoes, and whole wheat toast. Service was fast and the food was served at the proper temp. The most interesting thing about my breakfast is I ordered my eggs over medium and by goodness they came out correct. Mrs.K. ordered the waffle. It was a pecan filled Belgium style dish. I was given a bite to eat and it was one fine waffle. The waffle came out piping hot which is a big bonus to how fast they get the food out. I look forward to coming back and trying out their lunch menu. I am also pleased that they are open on Sunday. Many of the mom and pops in Naples are closed on Sunday.

Not recommended! I rate restaurants on several things when I go to eat there....and the food is only 1 piece of it. I'll start by saying the food is average, nothing really wrong with it, but not good enough for me to say I will go back. My negative perception is with everything else. 1, the table we sat at had something on it. When we first day I thought it was just dirty, so they cleaned it...still dirty. My food came and I was still eating and looking at the table. It took me a while, but I noticed that whatever it was was beneath the glaze on the table. My picture may not show full details, but to me it looks like a pubic hair sitting on the table that was glazed over. Beyond that, service was horrible. The place was packed, so I wasn't sure if they were just busy. I realized that most of the people there were 60 years old or more, and all in groups of 4 or more. If you are a couple and young, they don't seem to care if you are even there. I actually got some bad faces from some servers walking by. Lastly, there's no parking, so you might as well ride your bike, walk, or park on the grass. My suggestion: don't go.

So this place is mediocre at best :-/ honestly the convenient location and reasonable prices is what would keep me coming back. So here is the breakdown: -got seated immediately, friendly service. The hostess was also the waitress which I guess is not too bad considering it was pretty empty -I ordered eggs Benedict florentine with the poached eggs on the medium side. They were a watery mess, definitely not cooked the way I expected. The hollandaise sauce was the worst I've ever had. I like a creamy explosion of flavor, this too again was watery. Not sure if they are just catering to their geriatric clientele. - all was quiet until the senior crowd strolled in. What ppl mentioned before is completely true, it feels like they left their hearing aids at home. Talking so loud I could hear their whole racist conversation. "Hey bill, ya know any Mexicans!" ('Murica) - the breakfast potatoes were cooked to perfection which I guess is a plus. Other than that, if you're in the mood for delicious homemade breakfast I would recommend Joe's Diner instead, but there may be other things on the patios menu that are better so it's worth a shot.

We came here after receiving a certificate. It i in front of the Marshalls and Hobby Lobby plaza, passing the gas station. There is more parking in the back! We went inside and were seated immediately. Me and the bf both asked for breakfast items: Stuffed French Toast Combo: "Stuffed with homemade blueberry filing & topped with fresh blueberries and strawberries. Served with 3 eggs and a side of bacon, sausage or ham" Mix Berry & Banana Crepes "Two crepes stuffed with blueberries, strawberries, bananas and topped with homemade blueberry sauce and whipped cream" ^ From their menu. The BF received REGULAR plain french toast, 2 in total. with two eggs and the sausage. I received 1 crepe, that was just a crepe wrapped in premade fruit mix of blueberries, and some over ripe bananas. No whipped cream not blueberry sauce. The premade mix was so wet that it made the cold crepe really soggy. When we showed the waitress that the stuffed french toast as not in fact STUFFED as it's name implies, she said we did not ask for it with fruit...what?... we requested a dish that implied stuffed with fruit...but okay. We decided to let it be. Bf had orange juice, which was of the Tropicana variety. It was really really awful. It is to note that me and the bf were the youngest there, and the food was really lacking, as there were only about 3 other tables. Retaurant was pretty much empty.

I ate here yesterday for a late breakfast. Food was delicious! My daughter got eggs benedict, with home fries and both were cooked perfectly. Definitely have a few good cooks here, as the food was excellent. Service was just as good. The place also has some real good dinner specials that I plan on coming back for. $13.99 for a three course meal and a glass of wine, that sounds interesting.

It pains me to give this place a harsher review since my parents have had good meals here. So I would encourage you to try it even with this review. We ate breakfast mid week about 8:30 am and were the only family there. The pancakes were burnt on one side, gave my father the wrong type of toast and we never got our orange juice and had to have it removed from the bill. Also there was a screaming child, we believe an employees as it was not a patrons which I find annoying when I'm trying to enjoy a meal. So there you have it, my experience but my parents have had great food here.

I come here once every two weeks, and I have never been disappointed. The service is almost perfect every time I say almost because just like virtually any restaurant has those days when there very busy ect ect. My favorite thing, that I order almost every time is there Gyro you should try it!!

This is a diner folks! Do not try to explain to me that this is more than a diner because they have a bar or that the outside of their building does not look like your typical diner. My wife and I decided to try the place out yesterday since we were in the area. Pleasant enough. Clean, old-fashioned, simple decor. The hostess/waitress was typical. Not overly friendly but not bad in any way. Our waiter came to us within 3 minutes and took our drink order. My wife ordered a Sea Breeze. I didn't know that a Sea Breeze has grapefruit juice. Always thought it was OJ. Oh well, a little sour for our tastes so we asked the hostess, now bartender, to sweeten up and she says, "There's sugar on your table". I gave her a look and she gave us some extra cranberry juice. "Sugar on my table" Are you kidding me? Then our waiter took our order and we waited about 10 minutes to get our soup and salad. He apologized, said that everyone in the back was talking too much. Interesting . . . Finally got our food. We decided to go typical diner style . . . Turkey dinner for me, Pot Roast dinner for my wife. I am from NJ and expect certain things from a diner. Friendly, talkative wait staff, solid prices and large plates! The food tasted good. That's all I can compliment them on. Small portions, prices that should be lowered in relation to the size of the portions and a more friendly staff. The only reason I can see why they have people coming to their restaurant is that there are no other options in the area. Lucky! Yes, the food tastes good. But give me more for my money please!!!

A-OK is the perfect description of this place. After we got the last spot in the parking lot, we walked inside to realize it's bigger inside than it looked to be from the outside. Tables are available both inside and outside. Fortunately, this place probably has a quick turnover of tables, so I imagine that you will eventually get a spot. Neutral restaurant decor with young friendly servers. I will say, though, that other than the servers, I might have been the youngest person in the place. Breakfast was fine - I had an egg white omelet with vegetables, and I appreciate that the veggies were all chopped fresh, not canned. Served with your choice of toast or pancakes (not a tough decision in my mind), the pancakes were good. The fail was the breakfast potatoes, where apparently Cook 2 did not realize that Cook 1 had already salted them. Yikes! Immediate gulp of water and abandoned on my plate. For the quick breakfast I was looking for, it was just fine.

Found my new hang out. At these prices I can eat here all day. Fresh food, varied menu, reminds me of the Greek restaurants up in Chicago. Service is wonderful, they are open all day except Sundays, only till 3pm. This is like a diner but the setting is more comfortable and spacious. Parking is limited behind the building but there is more across the street. My favorites: fresh squeezed OJ, rice pudding, big portions, don't serve butter in those tiny squares, serve grits with butter on the side, 3 egg skillets, you can bring your doggie to dine outdoors.

My friends and I love going to The Patio Cafe on Sundays. The bloody marys are divine and cheap! The food is pretty good, however the service is pretty bad. The servers are very nice and friendly, but they often screw up orders and take forever to bring food or refills on drinks. Even so, we find ourselves going back again and again so it must be worth it! Its probably the bloody marys. :) I'd say, check it out when you have plenty of time to wait for them to happily fix your order after they bring you the wrong thing.

We went here because we had a groupon. I had an omelet, pancakes and grits and my boyfriend had corned beef hash, breakfast potatoes and scrambled eggs. Positives: The omelet was perfectly cooked and delicious. The veggies especially couldn't have been better. Very fresh. My boyfriend liked his eggs a lot too. They have gorgeous fresh squeezed orange juice. Don't miss out on that. The ambiance was really charming and clean. Negatives: A pet peeve of mine is rock hard butter. Come on man, you can't even spread it! The corned beef hash was mediocre at best. The maple syrup was different...not necessarily bad, but odd... I don't know how to explain it. Anyway, overall the Patio Cafe was a pleasant experience and I would definitely go back.

Ok but really dry waffles, others orders ok but really really slow service!! Ok so busy day i know. Appreciated having table ready, but somehow this just misses the mark of refined palate fare. Average at best. Reasonable.

Not a fan. I do not want to say too many terrible things about this place (though it's hard not to) because it is obvious this is someone's livelihood and they have put time and effort in to revitalizing this old building. I was in it before years ago ... not pretty! First the good ... the service was great, however there were honestly too many staff members wandering around the floor bumping into each other. The hostess was lovely and we were seated immediately. Our waitress was attentive, but did not notice that not one of us finished even half of our meal and she did not inquire if there was a problem and quite frankly, we did not have the energy to go in to it. After all, we were still hungry. The food as you can guess from the previous paragraph, was a total fail. Not one of our four meals had any taste. Well that's not entirely true. Mine had a taste that stayed with me all morning ... and into the early afternoon. The eggs benedict truly was that horrible. Overcooked eggs and absolutely the worst hollandaise I have ever tasted. Literally. Ever. In all fairness, we have only eaten there one time and it was breakfast (which in my opinion should be the easiest to prepare) so we have not tried the lunch or the dinner. This is why I chose two stars instead of one. I cannot say that I really have any interest after that experience, though. The restaurant is very loud and we were by far the youngest people in the place so maybe they have a really good senior discount. That could also explain the loudness, a lot of "left at home" hearing aids. I am really not exaggerating on this point. And that says a lot coming from a woman with two young children. My final criticism would be that all of the menus have entirely too many items. This may have contributed to the problems with the execution?? All in all, I would forego this restaurant, for breakfast anyway. There are far better options in Naples; Skillets, Joe's Diner, Sunburst, just to name a few. If we do decide to give the lunch or dinner a shot, since I normally believe in second chances, I will adjust my review accordingly and fairly.

Bought a groupon for this place. Paid 10 dollars to recieve 20 in credit. Arrived at 11:15 saturday morning. Ordered the gyro - it came with fries and a salad-, cobb salad, kids fish and kids chicken tenders. They forgot the bacon on the cobb, oops! Brought out a bowl right away after we asked about it. It was all very good! Out of the 12 tables that were around us, 9 ordered breakfast. I will absolutely be back to try an entree off the morning menu!

It's your middle of the road, average breakfast joint. I have never been for lunch but have gone twice for breakfast. Good food. However the service is slow and that's because they are typically under staffed. The food again is good I really like the sausage links because they're fatter then honey boo boo during her third buffet trip. Overall it gets a 3/5 one day I may try lunch.

Honestly, we don't have a bad thing to say about our visit here. We tried it for the first time, and loved everything about our meal; food was great, atmosphere was casual with a lovely outdoor patio, and service was extremely attentive and fast. Just a wonderful experience, highly recommended!

The Patio serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Kind of like Denny's, but with a patio. The menu for breakfast + lunch was plasticized to resist tearing and the sticky fingers of both guests and employees. I had a short stack, side of bacon, and coffee. The bill was $7, so the pricing is really low. The numerous waitstaff, bussers, and reception people were very nice, cheerful, and very accomodating. Most of the tables on the L-shaped patio were filled with an after-church, Sunday brunch crowd. Hopefully the Patio Cafe will follow Perkins or Denny's example and have a few newspaper boxes installed. I brought my NYTimes from home. About mid-meal, a waitress asked if I was done with a secton on the table. "Uh, yes...?" says I, and she promptly swept it up and delivered it across the room to a guy who arrived paperless. That became the incident I call When the Times became the Funny Papers. Granted, local authorities can be pretty tough on start-up businesses. But I am giving this new restaurant a guarded A-OK because within a three day period, The Patio attracted County attention for mishandling frozen meats and for not having adequate food supervision. ledgerdata.com/restauran… When you're running a restaurant marathon by dishing three meals a day, it's hoped the efficiencies are in place.

We go here for dinner about once a week and the food is not elegant, but it is fresh, plentiful, and tasty. My favorites are the stuffed pepper soup and the pork chops. My husband get meatloaf, chicken pot pie, or liver. a neighbor orders pot roast every time he goes here. I have never seen a meal that is larger served in this area and we have plenty of other restaurants within a four mile radius. Patio Cafe offers an incredible choice of well prepared foods, a clean atmosphere and friendly staff. The owner, Tolan, visits patrons at their tables to insure their satisfaction. With soup or salad, an entree and a beverage including house wines and a check under $30 even in 2fer summer season, this place is a good buy. Get there even earlier and select entrees are under $7! I cant recommend the bbq meatloaf nor the chicken parm. I wasnt happy with either, but there are plenty of other items and daily specials on the menu.

Good breakfast. Canadian bacon was plentiful and thick. Eggs cooked to tasty finish. Pancakes kind of blah. Good coffee. Classic breakfast menu. Our waitress could have been a bit faster but no big deal.
