We had one of the best dining experiences ever from beginning to end. We were greeted by the valor who opened the door and helped the ladies out of the car. We did not have to worry about finding a parking spot. We had reservations for 7 o'clock and were greeted as we entered and seated immediately in a back room. There was a $25 wine tasting deal and we decided to try that. We tasted three fine white wines and four red wines. When you found your favorites you could have several additional glasses. Off to a fine start! We then ordered the lobster bisque. What a great choice. The huge chunks of lobster and the numerous amounts were greatly appreciated. I have not had a better cup of soup. The bread that was offered was delicious. There was a great combination of rolls and tastes to tempt anyone. For entrees most of us in the party ordered the filet and the Maine lobster. We were asked how we wanted them cooked and it was restated to us what it would look like when it came. I must tell you the waitress we had was one of the best. She had worked there five years and was extremely knowledgeable about the wines and the food. I loved the way she would comment ....."an excellent choice" everytime we made a decision. We also had other staff come to our table to clear away dishes and ask how we were doing. As for our sides we had the lobster mac and cheese, creamed spinach and potatoes au gratin. Good choices. The mac and cheese was an great experience for my taste buds. It all just melted in your mouth. The spinach had a nice spice in it that made it so unique. The potatoes were also well done. As one could expect with all the food and drinks we ordered we did not have any room for dessert even though they looked amazing. Our filet and lobster was actually two separate pieces of filet with the lobster on top. Too much for me to eat both.....The sides were also quite large and were served family style. We could not eat all the sides either. Several people were celebrating birthdays or anniversaries and they had sprinkled some rose petals on their tables. They also wrote Happy Birthday in chocolate on their birthday dessert. As a teacher I would also like to comment on the wonderful penmanship of that person! We were never rushed which I loved. We were allowed to savor the moment of the food and the company. When the bill was given to us we were told to take our time. We had some of our wine to finish and we just wanted to sit there and enjoy the moment. It was a very special evening for us and we were so thankful we decided to spend it at the Capital Grille. As we left the restaurant the ladies were given some roses. Little touches mean so much. As we left our car was driven to the front of the restaurant and our doors were opened and we were helped inside. We had our leftovers carefully tucked inside the car.....dreaming about tomorrow evening when we would get to enjoy them again. So if you are looking for great ambience and amazing food and being treated special....head to the Capital Grille for an experience you will remember.

Consistently very good. The service is always top notch. I have only ordered steaks and they range from good to very good. I would ultimately rate this a 4.5. I have had better steaks but not by much. This is one of the best in Naples. Bring your good wallet

A rare occasion where I can honestly say our dining experience deserved 5 stars. We had dinner with my parents whom we have dined with all over the country. Our waiter Matthew was attentive and kind. The meal albeit expensive was wonderful. On par with Morton's and Ruth Chris price wise but I thought the service and food much better here. The lobster tails and varieties of steak were cooked perfectly. As an added touch and incentive to return, they gave us a tasting of desert on the house, champagne toast as well as long stem roses for mom and I. Thank you Matthew for making the short time I have with my parents extra special. We will return!

Although we had reservations, we had to wait about 35 minutes for our table "that wasn't ready yet" so it seemed as though we were getting the best seat in the house. Nope, of course we got a table next to the kitchen and bus station. Typical. We weren't going to move since we didn't know how long the wait would be for another table. While we were waiting for said table, I ordered a drink at the bar made with the pineapple infused vodka that was on display. It was one of the best drinks I've had. Smooth, not too sweet, and strong. Just ask the bartender to fix you something with the vodka and I'm sure you'll like it. The food was excellent, 3/4 of us ordered the nightly special which was filet served on top of sauteed onions, topped with crumbled blue cheese. We ordered the mashed potatoes and roasted vegetables for the table which were enough for four of us. The chocolate cake and coconut cream pie are not to be missed. The pie and cake fed all 4 of us AND we took leftovers home. This place is packed with cougars on the prowl, and face-lifts/implants galore. It seemed as though a lot of the women were dressed their best, and the men would saunter in wearing Tivas and a shirt they had worn to the beach earlier that day. If you can get past all that I would highly recommend this chain.

Wine service here is exceptional. Not just good- exceptional. You get what you pay for here. It's consistently good food- wine is chilled as necessary and very knowledgable sommeliers. A+.

We decided to go to The Capitol Grill because we had heard good things about the restaurant. Once we pulled to to the restaurant we were greeted by the friendly valet. We were early so we had a drink at the bar,the bartenders were very nice. After that we were seated in a small room which was quite nice. Our server came over and introduced herself and went over the specials for the evening. We started with the Calamari which are very good, then we had the lettus wedge with blue cheese and bacon. For the main course my partner had the filet mignon and i had the bone in Kansas City sirloin with a side of sauteed spinach and Au gratin potatoes. Both were good the sirloin had flavor because of the bone and the filet was a typical filet nice and tender. Dessert we shared a cheese cake wasn't great just ok. Over all the staff were very friendly and nice and we will return soon.

The best steaks and service. Great bar offerings. Crowded and very noisy. A bit pricey but worth splurging here for a special occasion. Parking difficult but valet service offered. Save room for dessert, and try the best cheesecake in Florida.

If you want a wonderfully flavorful and perfectly cooked steak, Capitol Grill is your place. We had a dinner meeting here with our most important customer and the service and food was flawless. It's not cheap but at capitol Grill you do get what you pay for. Awesome banana cream pie as well. Way too much to finish.

Fantastic service. Whether you are a big fan of the huge perfectly cooked steaks and the family style sides or prefer half a dozen oysters and a slab of salmon, it's going to be good. We religiously order calamari at every restaurant that serves it, and the blend of fried goodness and sliced hot peppers was a refreshing change (plus, we all love spicy). Mashed potatoes are a crowd pleasing side (soo creamy), but everyone loved their salads as well and the crab and lobster stuffed shrimp were a surprise hit (though I think I liked the sauce they were sitting in even more). Huge desserts, the cheesecake being the favorite. I don't remember getting an amuse bouche in the past, but this last visit's scallop and lentils made even my "I've tried them cooked many ways and I just don't like scallops" sister into a fan. It was a little odd, though, that they put them on the table before our whole party had arrived. Not my first choice as far as restaurants go in Naples (I'm not one of the huge steak and sides fans) but I never regret a meal here and am always content with the evening, and according to my mother "they make the best vodka gimlets in town" (I can't confirm this since I prefer ones made with gin).

Made reservations on our last night in Naples. My dining guests had all dined here before, except me. Service was the best I have seen in a long long time. When we mentioned we were a bit cold our server brought out two shawls for us. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. I ordered the steak tartar which was served with toast rounds, chopped onions and capers; it was fabulous (I added a little horseradish for an additional kick). I went on to the porterhouse au poivre which was a bit too peppery for me. The steak itself was wonderful as were the au gratin potatoes and sauteed spinach. Would go back again without hesitation. It is pricey, but well worth it.

We have been to the Capital Grille several times, this was our first in Naples. It is a chain/corporate restaurant, one of the few that we frequent. We have had many family/special occasion/holiday functions at the Capital Grille and the Naples location did not disappoint. We made reservations specifically for dessert and had a lovely time with a special dessert gift provided by the restaurant when they learned we were celebrating a birthday that evening. Everything was perfect. We were appreciative of the excellent service, thoughtfulness and overall ambience. We will return again and highly recommend.

Table for nine. Ready as reserved, with complimentary champagne proffered upon seating. The lobster bisque was opulent. Chunks of red skinned lobster flesh formed islands in the creamy soup. Meat was in dark red wine sauce. No one complained about temperature. Sides are $10 each - rather a steak house protocol since it's the meat that is the Star. A plate with three generous desserts was served family style, and was also complimentary. The final gesture of the evening was presentation of a long stemmed red rose as each guest departed..

The best Steak House in Naples. Hands down with the service, choice meats, and preparation. You can not go wrong. The lunch special is the best for clients or for quick bite for the money.

I think reviewers are being too generous to Naples. It's a lovely town, but the quality of the food doesn't live up to the prices. Capital Grille is a perfect example. I've patronized many of the other Capital Grille restaurants - I'm particularly fond of the one in downtown Manhattan - but there are two main problems with the Naples establishment. First is, sadly, the food. I eat meat very very rarely, meaning I'm exceptionally picky and even more picky when steaks are $40 and up. A filet cut should not be marbled - mine had a ribbon of fat right through it - it was a horrible cut of meat. It was also overcooked - I ordered extremely rare and got medium rare, which is inexcusable. Second issue is the service. I've been to this restaurant twice. Once my father had to call the restaurant from his mobile phone (inside the restaurant) to get our waiter to come deliver the check because he couldn't get his attention... This last time our waiter was genuinely lovely, but I don't like waiting for tables after making a reservation. It's awkward, especially when the hosts shepherd you into a weird bar with old men. The food is very good and the restaurant is worth a visit, I just wish the restaurant had a bit higher standard all around.

the steaks are good but whoever told these guys that you can make mashed potatoes with boiling potatoes? the result, regardless of the name, is a pasty, gummy product which would give mashed potatoes a bad name if that was one's only contact with them. they might try idahos, baked and scooped to make the very best and next the all purpose but not boiling red potato if they still want to boil. that's why they are called 'boiling' and not 'all purpose', guys.

I was really surprised with the reviews! I was really baffled with my experience here. The service was the type of five star top notch almost white glove crumb scraping (but let me point out no white gloves or crumb scraping) one should expect in this price range but the menu and the food are SO pale in comparison. Are inexperienced diners just tricked by the service and expensive feel? This reminded me very much of a Ruth Chris....with better service but a similar menu and sub par food. I should point out that the food wasn't HORRIFIC-if we were in a restaurant with a price point of $14-22 an entree it would be AVERAGE. Firstly, the menu is severely disappointing. I went out expecting to splurge and then couldn't find anything remotely unique, inspired, or even interesting. Very limited menu and the most exciting thing on it was ahi tuna with ginger rice. At least that generally means these are things they are exceptionally skilled at. So I got the ahi. I will say it was quite a large piece which was nice. It was coated standard-style in sesame seeds and cooked just a tad too much. It was still rare but was lacking the bright red inside. The ginger rice was an abomination. Mushy and clumped together. I'd almost like to say that they were trying for sticky rice-and would give them credit for that if there weren't crunchy under cooked grains of rice peppered throughout in addition to the ginger. Someone simply couldn't cook rice, and even worse, someone let it go out that way. You could tell just by looking at it, it was awful. And this was the only side. Even a small garnish of daikon would have been nice but all there was-was this terrible rice. That probably would have cost $16.00 if I'd order it as a side. I can't comment on how they would remedy the situation because I honestly was so dissapointed at this point-I just wanted my meal to be done. Normally I speak up but I just didn't even want to deal with it. Won't be back.....not because of the mistake but because when I splurge and spend that much on a meal, I want something truly outstanding that is going to amaze me. I am impressed by food..........and the genius of a chef-not by somebody's name on their personal wine celler.

My wife and I went here during our honeymoon in Naples and as we walked in we were greeted and engaged in friendly conversation immediately. The manager asked how we were doing and what brought us in today so I let him know we were here on our honeymoon. Not a minute passed before he walked us to our seat and behold once we got there his staff had arranged a romantic table with decoration and complimentary champagne, keep in mind that this was all done in a minute or so. Not only was the food delicious but the restaurant gave my wife a rose and printed a picture of us two together which just floored us. I couldn't have been more happy with my dining experience and would like to thank the staff at The Capital Grille for taking lead on the customer service front!

Great food and great service. I'm very picky having been "in the business" and the Capital Grill always blows me away. Stacey the bartender is one of the best in Naples and always remembers your name and what you like to drink. I love this place

As a person who usually goes out alone I decided I would give this place a try. Seeing how there are a lot of good reviews and I always see many nice cars in the parking lot. Being a man who loves food and especially steak I was quite pleased with the choices of fine meat here. Dry aged steak is one of my favorite styles of steak. The juices it creates on the grill are above and beyond good when cook properly. I asked for medium-rare and it came out perfect. The only down side I would say is that being in the Mercado Shopping area you will be paying a bit more higher prices then compared to other Capital Grilles. My 14 oz Dry Aged Sirloin was $48 plus an extra $10 for a side of French Cut Beans. That was a bit of a surprise for a side to be that high. I can understand meat being pricey, but vegetables not so much. But overall the atmosphere is very classy and it would be a great place to impress your date or wife just bring some serious cash.

If you are looking for steak or fish with superb service in a classy atmosphere while in Naples, this is it. Guests are referred to by name when seated and served. Bread basket is brought immediately and contents are delicious with sweet butter.Had the house/dinner salad which was crisp lettuce and baby tomatoes with an Italian glaze. Delicious. Clam chowder hits the mark for a starter too. Filet mignon is fork tender, and the tuna steak is pepared perfectly over rice with three dipping sauces.Loved the haricot vert with a light tomato sauce as a side. Server was outstanding tending to our every need. She presented a red long stem rose at the conclusion of dinner. Nice touch. Place is pricey but you get what you pay for.

The Capital Grill never disappoints. Some of the best steaks I've ever eaten. The Mrs. doesn't eat meat so she speaks extremely highly of the seafood. It's such a pleasure to be treated like a king as soon as you enter. The atmosphere is top notch. This is a place that is not to be missed!

Great dining experience started a 4 day weekend trip to Naples with a trip here and decided to return on our last night. Have yet to try anything I didn't love. I highly reccommend the chilled seafood platter and the lobster tail and tenderloin!

Pull up in the Benz and hand the complimentary valet a $20...."don't worry Mr. DeVito, we'll take care of her." Enter Capital Grille.....one look around and I feel as if I've been transported to some mountainous/British land where hunting lodges are common place and horse and hound paintings are all the rage. I'm not sure the ram heads added to my meal, but they did provide a little escape from FL. I really enjoyed the wine cellar, and wish we had tried the wine pairing that was offered. Had the filet mignon, truffle fries and creamed spinach....plus two bottles of decanted wine....I will say that the filet was good, not amazing, but good..the creamed spinach was also good, but nothing compared to Izzy's...and the truffle fries, well, my Uncle complained about there aroma, but I found them lacking in truffle flavor. The cappuccino and creme brulle were excellent! The service was also impeccable....as I said, Capital Grille is very out of place in Naples, as it is an upscale restaurant, and a hunting lodge....but I do appreciate the addition of a wonderful steakhouse to an otherwise fish owned town.

Very classy place with hip and trendy patrons and outstanding service. The restaurant itself has a masculine, warm feel. Food is excellent and location is superb in an upscale area in Naples. But do bring your wallet. Very spendy if you have two glasses of wine and a steak with mushrooms.

We went to Capital Grille for my father's 90th birthday, a very special occasion. We've been to other Capital Grille's before and knew it was very good but this exceeded all of our expectations. Our waitress (Stephanie) put everyone at ease, brought us champagne, took pictures, and just made us feel like we were the owner's friends. I cannot recommend it strongly enough. The food was very, very good and the prices not unreasonable for a top notch restaurant.

Thanks, Yelp, for another good recommendation! I picked this restaurant after consulting Yelp for a good Mother's Day brunch with lobster mac and cheese. I'm glad to say that it did not disappoint. After struggling to finally find parking, we noticed that there was free valet near the front. (I'm not sure if this is typical or was exclusively for Mother's Day.) We were seated shortly after we arrived, and so began the adventure. The waiter automatically swapped out our napkins for ones that better matched our outfit. (I didn't realize this was a thing, but thanks for keeping us stylish!) Having browsed the menu before, I already knew what I wanted, but one of my guests was a little confused by the menu. Finally, we settled on our meals--everything from lobster to filet mignon and waited. I would first like to complement the restaurant on the variety of bread. Not only did they have an assortment of breads to satisfy different pallets, but they even had gluten free options that came by default! Now, I'm a big fan of gluten, but I appreciated the gesture. The salad came out shortly after. It tasted pretty standard, but they do offer to give you anchovies with it. (Do people enjoy anchovies on their salad?) Earlier, I had ordered a lobster mac and cheese as an appetizer and I had expected it to come out before the salad or right after, but they waited until our entrees were ready and brought it out simultaneously. When our waiter first brought out the lobster mac and cheese and began to serve it, I wasn't that impressed with how it looked. The moment I tasted it, though, my mind changed completely. It was nothing short of amazing. The lobster was cooked to perfection and the Mac and cheese part was just the right amount of crunchy and cheesy. Just imagine accomplishing your hopes and dreams. That's what this tasted like. It was truly worth every penny I paid for it. Since it was Mother's Day, I opted for the classic filet mignon with mashed potatoes. The meat was tender and seasoned. I'll admit, I would have preferred to have less mashed potatoes in exchange for some green beans, but it was still good. My mother loved her lobster, and everyone else enjoy their meals as well. Also, the Bellini I ordered paired perfectly with my steak. Then, it was time for desert. I enjoyed the creme brûlée and my other dining companions enjoyed their cake. The restaurant had a great atmosphere, although it did seem like they had tried to pack in one too many tables for a place of its caliber. They also had a decent-sized wine selection. At the end of thee meal, they brought roses out for all of the women and gave my mom some chocolate. I paid what I expected to pay--a pretty penny--but my mom enjoyed herself. Overall, expect to pay a decent amount of money, but the splurge is worth it--especially if you get the lobster mac and cheese.

First visit to this location. We had a later reservation but they were able to accommodate us earlier. Free valet with an impressive line up of cars our front. I was very disappointed to see my favorite dish, the smoked salmon appetizer, is off the menu permanently according to our server. It's the main reason I visit the Capital Grille! What a bummer. Cesar salad was decent, lacked flavoring. The filet I had was really good but I wish they had a smaller one than 10 oz because it was too big. The new jalapeño corn side was delicious as were the Brussels Sprouts. Au Gratin potatoes were ok, nothing special. Bread basket was amazing as usual. I have to say I'm not a huge fan of some of their menu changes :/. Server Matthew was nice, would have liked a few extra check ins but nothing too bad. We all got roses at the end of dinner which was a nice touch.

Cap Grille is a great spot. I prefer the barroom. Stacey behind the bar makes a mean Manhattan. My wife's bed the truffle fries. Feels like a private club inside. Service is a definite notch above. Fare is always delish.

My grandfather was a butcher. He knew how to treat a piece of meat and why one should never buy the plastic-wrapped garbage sold in chain grocery stores. I grew up with the good stuff. I learned all of the aging techniques and how to cook (a term I use loosely because of how I prefer my beef) a steak properly several different ways. Capital Grille knows what blue means and I order my steaks VERY blue. If you've ever eaten raw, aged beef, you'll understand why I care and why it can be difficult to find a place that will serve my steaks the way I desire. Butter. There nothing better than the taste/feeling of a piece of raw, perfectly salted beef just melting in one's mouth. For me, everything else comes second. The service here is always top notch and they do their best to make sure every need is met. The bisque is excellent. The bread can addictively fill you up before your food arrives, so be careful. The little touches such as remembering you name and the roses for the ladies only add to the experience.

I've been to the capital grill once before, in Baltimore Maryland. I sat outside, so I didn't get the full experience that comes with the ambiance radiating from the interior decor. I felt like I had stepped into a private hunting club in the UK. Beautiful and tasteful taxidermy pieces were scattered throughout the restaurant, as well as portraits of hunting dogs and hunting shoots. The wait staff is beyond attentive. Our server didn't miss a single detail. As if she read our mind, or water was delivered with a small plate of freshly cut lemons and limes. When we finished only a particular type of bread in he assorted basket, she returned with a full basket of our chosen roll. Every time I took my last sip of wine, she was there, ready to pour my next glass. I could go on and on about her, but I think you get the idea. Now for the food. There is a reason it is so pricey. You get exactly what you pay for. I got the Filet Oscar, medium rare, which was topped with lump crab meat and shaved asparagus. I'm still drooling thinking about it. One of my favorite things about the meal was that the waitress took out half empty bottle of wine and had it vacuumed sealed into a "to go" style bag, that was legal in Florida. score!! It made me feel less guilty about ordering an expensive wine I couldn't finish. As if the meal wasn't great enough, it was concluded by the delivery of a single red rose for myself with the check. Nothing makes a woman feel more special than fresh flowers

Went here 2 nights ago for my friends birthday. The food and service was excellent! She reserved table online and they had table prepared with table confetti. The restaurant felt too formal with oil portraits of individuals. Our host was very attentive and quick witted. He was very knowledgeable of menu & wine. I ordered their rack of lab medium rare. It was cooked perfectly and so moist the meat just melted when you bite into it. I tasted a friend's Delmonico steak, it was aged and cooked to perfection! Their shared side dishes were enough for 3 people. Since they also offered bread which were moist variety of sweet and salty breads. The wine list was extensive for 1/2 and whole bottles, not much by the glass. They brought out dessert for my friend's birthday and roses for the ladies. This was a top notch steak house.

It's not often you celebrate a special occasion with fellow workers. This place does it right! They remembered what we were celebrating, gave us free champaign, and gave roses to the ladies at the table. Apps: the spicy calamari was excellent, and the lobster mac and cheese was to die for. Main courses: sea bass was superb, filet mignon with encrusted with goat cheese and bacon scallop special was to die for. Everyone was served at the same time, drinks never went empty, crumb service, ladies with black dresses had a black napkin switched out from whits, and attention to detail was at its highest. 6 star service, why would you step down and go to Ruths Chris?

The first time I came here was for Valentine's Day lunch. We were able to score a reservation the day of, so I was super excited! I've heard about the remarkable service, so of course I was expecting it, especially it being Valentines! Unfortunately, once the waitress realized that we wouldn't be ordering a bottle of wine (since both of us had to work that night) we were given below average attention. I had to ask for new silverware, she never checked back on our food once it came to our table, and she was hard to track down. Meanwhile, the couple next to us (who had a different waiter AND a bottle of wine..heh) were getting the best service ever! We ordered the calamari to start, which was fine, just not phenomenal. I got the scallops which were nicely seasoned, but i wish there was more of a sear on them. The food was fine, but it left a sour taste in my mouth after that experience. BUTTT I came here for my last meal before moving to California. WOWOWOW. Firstly, the service was top notch (THANK GOD) and every thing was drool worthy. THE LOBSTER MAC N CHEESE IS A MUST. It is pricey, but I do believe you get what you pay for. It was definitely a memorable dinner, and I would suggest coming here. Just be warned that you may not get the best service, depending on your waitress.

Yes I know soooo expensive, little known secret eat at the bar from the bar menu four perfectly cooked and seasoned lamb chops $18 a flippin steal. Add a salad and and order of lobster mac and cheese, a couple glasses of wine and you have a fabulous dinner in a terrific place for under $100. Great top notch service, we love it.

Love this place! Great food, excellent service, and you can't beat the stoli doli. My wife and I went in for dinner and they treated us like royalty. It's not a cheap meal, but it's absolutely worth every penny. If you're in the area, it's absolutely worth stopping in for dinner and a drink.

Good steak just not great. Service was good but a little diffrent. I was on vacation and tried 3 diffrent steak houses all of the were good but this one was bottom of the pack. Not saying it wasnt good cause it was just could have been better.

This is the only prime steakhouse in Naples open for lunch. So we have ended up here a few times for that fact alone. The service is always good. And the food is consistently high quality. I don't have anything negative to say. The steaks at Fleming's are a slightly higher quality. But all and all this is a solid prime steak house.

A few weeks ago I enjoyed an amazing dinner at The Capital Grill. The occasion for our dinner was the high school graduation of my dad's best friends son. Upon arrival there were two women who notified us would be taking care of us. After everyone did happy hour we were taken to one of the private party rooms. The entire room had been decorated with a graduation theme, even the menus! As soon as we sat down our servers brought us the most delicious assortment of bread I have ever tasted. While we waited for our food the servers were very attentive and wine glasses were never empty. Our appetizers were just the start of our amazing meal, then came the entrees. I have never cut into a filet so soft in my life, like butter. The au gratin potatoes were the most amazing I have ever had and the lobster mac & cheese had claw meat the size of an orange slice in it. Everything I tasted was simply amazing. They brought us an assortment of desserts and those were delicious as well. Overall, The Capital Grille was one of the greatest dining experiences I have ever had. I can't wait to visit again!

This restaurant is by far the best we've visited in a long time. The steak was done to perfection, the lobster was the best ever even the potato was delicious. The waiter was excellent! The FOOD came fast too. iIt was my birthday, so they gave us each a glass of champagne and cake. Excellent dinner!

First of all we made a reservation ahead of time and asked for a booth. We understand it can't be guaranteed but the TABLE we were put at was the spot with the MOST traffic in the entire restaurant. I was hit in the back more than 20 times in an hour and a half. There was a constant parade of people being shown to their table. The Kitchen noise was deafening on a Thursday night. The waitress said she was relatively new but our water was not refilled and she knocked over an empty wine glass. The Filet was dry, au gratin potatoes were great as was dessert of Cheesecake and Coconut Cream Pie. I guess to sum this up, it was not what I expected for the price. We dine at a lot of very nice restaurants and are treated and seated much better at all. I believe they have tried to squeeze too many seats into this restaurant.

This is a great place to celebrate a special occasion. The porterhouse was done to perfection. The service is top notch. Enjoy!

Disappointed. Great service however, I find that the quality in their steaks aren't up to par with other high end steak restaurants. I've also tried the Capital Grill located in Denver and it was just as bad. I'll have to admit, I'm a tough critic when it comes to steak and this just didn't do it for me. I've never had to send a steak back for being overcooked and unfortunately, I had to do so the last time I visit this restaurant. I'll save the pretty pennies for greater quality elsewhere.

Dined here with my husband and my parents, and it was fantastic! My filet was amazing, and we shared au gratin potatoes and asparagus as our sides. My mom got the scallops which were even better than my filet, and I don't normally love scallops! Would love to come back when I'm visiting Naples again!

The Capital Grille Naples was bar none the most amazing all-around dining experience My group of 9 has had in a very long time!! Howard was our waiter and we waited nor wanted for anything. He was spot on, energetic, very knowledgeable about the food and wine!! The food was delightful! I know it is a steakhouse but the Chilean sea bass was the best I have ever had. We did have one steak come out cooked not as ordered and it was immediately taken away and replaced. Howard and the manager overcompensated for the error and we soon forgot that we even had a small issue. When in the Naples area please do not miss Capital Grille and ask for Howard!!

Normally if I want a great steak in Naples I go to Fresh Market and buy twelve ounce filets for about twenty dollars a pound I get it to the right temperature season it properly with salt and pepper after I put conola oil on it and put it on my own grill for six and six It was our anniversary so we went out with friends the meal was ok the staff was great and we enjoyed ourselves next year I will ask our friends to join us at home and show them what a real great steak tastes like.

One of the best Steak Houses in the Naples area..we had tried Shula's but the atomosphere here was great and they put us in a small side room which was intimate and well serviced without the din of the main dining room right outside. The Porterhouse was outstanding, ordered it charred raw and got it that way. Lamb chops and Filet also reported as wonderful by my dinner mates. Over all a great time was had by all. Great service, drinks, food and ambiance.

Lamb Chops TDF!!! Chilean Sea Bass EXCELLENT!!! Calamari ALWAYS EXCELLENT !!! Don't waste your money on a salad -- nothing special and very boring !! Chocolate Cake VERY DRY !!! $48.00 a glass for Dom Perignon and served room temp!!! UNACCEPTABLE!!! Noise level very high in the main room - almost have to shout to talk!!

We called on the day we wanted to have dinner and there was a cancellation so we were very happy and pleased with our meal. The Caesars salad could have had more flavor but the bread was good and I had king crab legs along with a delicious steak. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the service was excellent.

On August 30 2013, My husband Scott and I shared our 34th Anniversary at The Capital Grille. From the door service, to the greeting of the hostess, to the the bar staff, the table service ( Blad), the manager on duty (Tina) and the outstanding food we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for such a memorable experience. We will be back! Thank you...

The filet mignon was out of this world. I felt like I had stepped into a Ralph Lauren advertisement; I missed the memo that everyone had played a round of Polo prior to dinner. Our table was outside under the space heaters and it was lovely. And it's walking distance to the Blue Martini, where the party continues!

Stopped here for a spur of the moment lunch for our anniversary. Class act all around from throwing confetti hearts on the table, free dessert with "happy anniversary" written in chocolate, handwritten note as well as a fresh cut red rose for my wife. The way were treated was beyond excellent. This was actually my first time eating a The Capital Grille, and they provide a great lunch. Steak was awesome, Truffle Fries were awesome, Bread was awesome, Scallops, etc... Highly recommended.

Exquisite food and service. The pineapple martini is excellent. Steaks were perfectly cooked and melted in our mouths. We were there for our anniversary and received a complimentary glass of champagne, complimentary dessert, hand-written card wishing us a happy anniversary, and a photo of the two of us at our table which was taken by our wonderful server. Will certainly be back in the future.

As we all know, Capital Grille is a chain and I've been to many the locations within that chain which I have always rated as being four stars. This one, however, I've rated as five stars since I have found it to be a cut above the other locations within the chain. The service, always exceptionally good at any of their locations was even better than exceptional here. Also, the food (I had special bone in sirloin with blueberry barbecue sauce.....which I highly recommend) was likewise beyond that of merely being exceptionally good; let me say I found it to be superlative. One other thing I enjoy about Capital is that when I order my Caesar Salad with anchovies, it always comes with "white" as opposed to those horrid dark canned varieties and when I say "extra" anchovies they serve me with an extra side bowl of them.

Great service but food is less than good, go to Preston's in Naples if you want good food. I use to frequent the LA Hollywood location, it puts this store to shame.

I have said this once and I will say it again, This restaurant is the benchmark to be compared to. Food, Service, Atmosphere, cleanliness, variety, wine list, prices. If you are a restaurant looking to compare yourself, stop in there and have a dinner and then match your restaurant to theirs. If you are from out of town and do not have a capital grille in your city, you need to go here.

The hostess and the guy that brought us water very very nice ... The waiter and his helper left a lot to be desired. Took them forever to even acknowledge us and get our drink order. Food was great as always but this was a very disappointing experience for a very upscale place.

Great service at Capital Grill that wasn't the issue I have. The food is decent nothing over the top. So I ordered the porterhouse steak 24 oz good portion nice steak. After we ordered the server brought a steak knife for me and a regular one for my wife. I actually picked up the steak knife and thought wow what a nice heavy knife can't wait to use it to cut my beautiful steak I had been craving the past two days. Since the kitchen is semi open we could see the expo line and we could see the plate being assembled. My wife pointed out she thought she saw our order and my steak was put on the plate then she said the steak was taken off the plate. Then the cook threw something back in the broiler the chef looked mad and so did the cook. After the steak was put back on the plate it was brought to our table. The runner brought my wife's salmon also my steak and he said "we took the liberty of slicing it" he asked about fresh cracked pepper seemed unhappy we denied it then he asked a weird question "are we living the dream". Just said yes and wanted him to leave the table now I guess we didn't validate some strange pleasure he took out of cracking fresh pepper on our steaks. I was mad at this point the only think I hate more than terrible food is pre sliced steak. Why even put the steak knife on the table I don't need it the kitchen " took the liberty" to slice it. The steak losses flavor, moisture, and that beautiful crust the broiler gives it when pre sliced. I am able to slice my own steak; if I request it to be sliced because the steak is being shared with others then yes slice it. But if not please DONT SLICE THE STEAK. The food was descent won't ever return don't see the point of paying so much for a nice steak to get ruined by being pre-sliced.

One of the best Steakhouses anywhere. Excellent service, and a great wine list. Very pricey, but you get what you pay for- not just a meal, but a culinary experience that you will remember for a long time. I can only vouch for the steaks because that's all I've ever had here, but the seafood listed on the menu was tempting.

First time here and let me just say wow! The service and the food exceeded my expectations and my husband and I could not be happier. We were celebrating our one year wedding anniversary and decided to give The Capital Grille a try. Certainly a win for us! When I made our reservations I noted that it was out anniversary and asked for intimate seating, what we received based on that tiny requested blew us out of the water. Upon arrival we were greeted and wished a happy anniversary by the hostess who directed us to a small dinning room with just a couple of tables; our table was adorned with heart shaped confetti and a letter from the restaurant wishing us well (it's always the small touches that make things so much more memorable). We were then welcomed warmly by our waiter, Ben McKinley, who made our night so special thanks to his superb service and attention to detail. We were given two complimentary glasses of champagne to help celebrate as he explained the menu and specials since it was our first time there. My husband ordered the 2lbs of lobster de-shelled and broiled and I had the Chilean sea bass Oscar style - both dishes were just to die for. When food is cooked as perfectly as everything we ate was it's just orgasmic! At the end of our meal we had planned on ordering dessert but were pleasantly surprised when a complimentary dessert plate was delivered to us by Ben, plate reading "Happy Anniversary" and all! The chocolate espresso cake is rich and delicious and their cheesecake is decadent and creamy. Both were a perfect finish to an amazing meal. Amazing service, delicious food and great attention to detail were all what made our anniversary dinner everything we had hoped for and more! Thank you so much to the team @ The Capital Grille, Naples - you guys are awesome! I definitely recommend this location to all that visit the area.

We came here for my wife's birthday. It was "good". I've definitely had better steak back in Pittsburgh... Anyways I had the Kona bone in strip steak with shallot butter with creamed spinach for a side. The flavor was really good. I think what I didn't like was the lighting. I like to be able to see the fat on the meat to cut it off. It was so dim where we were sitting I couldn't tell where the fat was.. So I got a couple unwanted mouthfuls. My wife got the tenderloin and lobster and hers was excellent. So 4 stars because for $50 a plate I guess I expect to be blown away and I wasn't. It was really good though. Service was fine also. I also have to note that the restroom was clean.

The Wagyu burger was fantastic. Trying this for the first time I was skeptical, but it easily surpassed any preconceived notions. The $25 deal is well worth it - it's better than a deal. The Jordan can and J are normally $20 per glass. Better than the burger was the service. We had a group of 5 that sat in the crowded bar trying to take part of this deal. The bartender, on her own accord, approaches us asking if we were there for the deal. We say yes and she says give me q minute. She gets the manager who offers to seat us in the dining room and allow us to partake in the deal. No bar space was available, so our group would have had little space to eat otherwise. It was a very welcome offer and made the experience that much enjoyable. This location always goes above and beyond. And that's why I keep going back. They do the little things to make you feel welcome and appreciated.

BEST FRIED CALAMARI, period. Tip: Ask for it with just the rings, otherwise you'll get a gorgeous (and huge amount!) of rings and tentacles - unless you like those. Also, very spicy.

We are Capital Grille junkies. I'm pretty sure they lace their garlic mashed potatoes with crack. omg....yum! And I have literally had dreams about their chocolate cake. No 5 stars though because NY and Minneapolis Capital Grille are way more consistent with their steaks....always perfect. But have had a couple overcooked meals at the Naples location. I'm new to the area though and will definitely keep going back. (For more potato crack!)

Genre for rating: steakhouse, upscale The capital grille is still my favorite of the "big chain" steakhouses, and the Naples addition is no exception. The bar dining room is the best kept secret, with better service and atmosphere than the larger, noisier dining room. You can't go wrong when you are in the mood for the quality cut of red meat. What separates the Grille from the others (Morton's, Ruth's, etc.) are the side dishes and main course offerings other than fantastic prime steaks. The Grille also owns the title of my favorite calamari of all time, perfect blend of fried tastiness and peppers, and needs no sauce for accompaniment. Food: ***** Service (bar area): ***** Atmosphere: ***** What I get: calamari (still my favorite dish if all time), ribeye, truffle fries, house salad with Parmesan vinaigrette

Dined out with my wife the 1st time since the birth of our 2nd son a month ago. This is how to get back into the swing of things. Actually sat outside for the first time and enjoyed it, both steaks were magnificent and the calamari as always was spot on delicious, a perfect balance of crispy and spicy! Yes you pay for a high quality meal but when it is coupled with great service and atmosphere you cannot go wrong
