Expected overpriced stuff for 5th Avenue but not flavorless coffee and $4.50 rubbery egg sandwiches with deli ham and moldy Kirkland (aka the Costco brand) bagels. Unfortunately neither of us noticed the mold on the sandwiches we were served until after I forced myself to eat half (I hate sending back food). My fiance had noticed his bite tasted weird and didn't want to finish but we paid so I didn't want to waste food. Then he looked and saw mold on the top of his. The girl who made them hadn't noticed and the guy inside that my fiancé showed knew it was mold right away and was shocked. While he went inside I checked mine and saw it had even more mold than his. Kinda kicking myself for not taking a photo. At least they refunded us but I have no idea how much mold I ate (they were everything bagels so it blended in at first) and my throat has been closed up and eyes/nose runny since. A little worried since I have a weak immune system and digestive disorders but it was green mold so I'm assuming it won't be more than these allergy symptoms... The man apologized and at first offered new food before the refund but no... was not worth it. At least the Chai Latte was ok but nowhere near BadAssCoffee's. People walked out when they saw our sandwiches and heard what happened... I'd keep walking passed this place... go somewhere with better coffee like BadAssCoffee or Fit and Fuel (FnF serves locally roasted Panther coffee from Miami).

Mocha frappe, turtle latte, chocolate cake & good company. So glad we ran into this cute little shop. Very friendly service, she made my frappe with xtra chocolate since I'm not much of a coffee drinker, it was perfect. Very clean cafe, lots of chairs & tables to get comfortable in. Wish I had a place like this back home. Thanks Brick Coffee bar! Keep up the great work!

Best place to grab coffee on 5th Ave. Friendly service, chic modern atmosphere, and excellent coffee!

I was looking for a decent cup of coffee in Naples and a study space while I visit my parents. I found myself at The Brick at 2pm on a weekday. There was ample table space, easy (free) wifi, and one(?) plug. I ordered an iced coffee which was not great but not terrible. Friendly staff.

Great little coffee spot right on 5th Ave. We were staying at the Inn on 5th and this was along our daily morning walk to the beach. The service was excellent and the outside patio was an ideal spot for breakfast. Perfect place to stop in for an iced coffee and a breakfast sandwich before heading out to fry in the sun.

Wasn't impressed with the staff and the coffee was average. I felt the prices were good for 5th and the ambiance was inviting and conducive to studying or working. Better options available, still.

Great place, I always enjoy my free time with the polite stuff there. The owners a young couple are awseome. Thank you for holding the N 1 coffee bar in Naples on my list. So cozy atmosphere in combination with proffesional service!

Love this very cool cafeé on 5th. Be it for breakfast with my 12 y-o, quick lunches or chilled out NYT reading time around a good coffee, The Brick is always a hit.

Love this place! Great food and drink and a nice patio to sit and watch the world go by. Tell them Bailey the cockapoo sent you!

As a barista, I always try and seek out the best local shops and for me, this is hands down the best coffee in Naples. One of the best cappuccinos I've had in a long time. Absolutely worth a visit.

Friends don't let friends to go to Starbucks! Here you will be greeted by owner and you can enjoy a true cup of coffee! Atmosphere is homie with leather sofas and No hassle WIFI! I recommend to get a panini but all of that after you experience something different like Vine-therapy at My Body TLC walking distance from here. Then you can mark your bucket list for Naples! That is called "day in paradise". Cheers!

Had the smoked salmon bagel and it was by far the best I've ever had. Wasn't to smokey and the fish was amazing, can't wait to go back

Pretty much your only bet for a decent espresso and a seat to enjoy it in. Lavazza coffee, so it could be better, but it could be worse. Very helpful staff, familiar faces two years in row which is nice in a town where everyone looks the same/completely unmemorable. Don't feel obligated to order from their menu, they are a coffee shop and can make any traditional espresso drink.

A really great coffee place on 5th Ave. Fun to grab a mocha and just people (ergo tourist) watch in the afternoon. Lavazza coffee, so while there are better true mom & pop places, it sure beats Starbucks by a long shot.

My salad was great, but my sister read the menu wrong and ordered the wrong salad and they would NOT let her get what she thought she was ordering without her paying for 2 salads. Really poor customer service and the owner was rude.

Stopped in one afternoon for a pumpkin spice latte. It was the worst I ever had. Tasted like warm milk. Highly disappointed!

Nice area, nice atmosphere, quiet (Tuesday morning). I had the egg, bacon and cheese croissant and it was very good. Nothing unique about it and no sides, but tasty. The latte was better than I expected. Although flavorings shouldn't necessary I usually choose a hazelnut latte at a place I haven't been before because I'd rather have a hazelnut flavored bad latte than a plain bad latte. I think this one would have been better without the hazelnut. The syrup was a little excessive and left a strange mouthfeel and aftertaste. Maybe they used sugar free? On my scale of lattes (dismissing the hazelnut) I give this coffee a 5.5/10. I put Starbucks at a 4 and Blue Bottle of the Bay Area at 10. Coming from San Francisco, it's tough to be fair to any coffee shop so I'll admit I'm a little spoiled. Service was polite and adequate and nothing special.

Why does Naples have absolutely no good coffee/espresso establishments?? That or Yelp isn't up to date. I've tried this place twice and it's just not good. My latte is like drinking water, consistency wise. It doesn't have that silky smooth taste it should. And, believe it or not despite what they think, you can actually froth soy or almond milk to silky microfoam. Really, this place has only two things going for it - welcoming atmosphere and it's not Starbucks. Similar to Starbucks though, without the awful burnt flavor of course, the beverages are subpar. I would go elsewhere in an instant if there were somewhere else.

Great little coffee shop on beautiful 5th Ave in old Naples. The blend of smooth espresso and rich chocolate in my iced mocha was the perfect post-lunch treat. Sitting out on the front patio, my wife was also pleased with her standard iced latte. Wonderful cafe spot and I will definitely visit next time I'm in Naples!

The best coffee in Naples when the owners are working. Which is a lot of the time. However, the bummer is that they have an employee who doesn't understand much English, so it's very difficult to get the perfect cup when the barista doesn't understand how you take your coffee. hopefully, he'll learn...

The Brick is rapidly becoming a Naples favorite. The authentic European flair of its offerings is matched by an interesting, continental clientele. The owners and staff are so welcoming that stopping in daily is an easy habit to form. The LaVazza coffee is rich and full-bodied.

I'm from Chicago, but I come to Naples every year. This place is in my opinion The Best in Naples (and I've searched and searched) and even beats many of the places in Chicago. They use Lavazza coffee, and they are sure to make your coffee with care (even their chai is to die for). Make sure to stop here instead of patronizing chains like Starbucks!! The owners are lovely people as well!

  • Jamie R.

Refined coffee shop that's open for breakfast and lunch. The Brick takes its name it seems from a single wall of lovely, exposed brick that runs the length of the cafe and that's used to display verry good art photography. There are small tables with modern chairs, and two cushy couches near the window to aid a nice read or drink or nosh. I opted for a double espresso and a fresh pastry. Euro-tech piped in that day added to the sleek atmosphere.

Panini and tuna fish sandwiches were small but tasty. The coffee was outstanding!
