The reviews on this restaurant are spot on! This place is a secret treasure. We stumbled upon this accidentally and thought we'd give it a try. Fortunately, we were early enough they could seat us before the dinner rush (there are only about 10 tables so reservations are highly suggested). The food was high quality and plentiful. I have never seen so much seafood stacked in the Ciopino! The menu is "all in" meaning you start with bread/crackers/spread, move on to soup, salad, entree and then desert. The price is based on the entree you order. By the time the entree came, I was nearly full but given my love of seafood, I did my best. Topped off with dessert, and you can't go wrong. A++++++.

I trust my other fellow yelpers for honest feedback and boy on this you did not disappoint. This was really a fun experience, a bit old school with the different courses of soup, salad, entree and dessert. The staff truly kind and accommodating. The soup starting off the meal is amazing, had a beef stew type once and chicken noodle the second time both were homemade, hot and served with a lovely homeade roll. The salad they have this special shrimp/tomatoe type dressing wow its like an amazing twist on thousand island but homemade and very tasty.. We have had a few different entrees, the fish special, veal, and scallops all perfectly seasoned and cooked. Dessert...let me just say by this time we are ready to explode but you just cant turn down these tasty treats.. Both times I got the profiterole.. my husband chocolate mouse and the peanut butter pie..( which I only got one bite of! haha) This place is great for a night out with couples, romance etc..I would not recommend for youngsters..too small and really geared for adults.. Enjoy

It was our last night in Naples and we were looking for something fancy and a little different - the Blue Heron was just that. Don't be fooled by the outside appearance, it's truly a fine dining experience. I had the cioppino, and it was fantastic - loaded with scallops, fish, clams, shrimp and a lobster tail all in a tasty spicy stew - this was my favorite meal all week. My girlfriend had the shrimp and fillet combo which she said was fabulous as well. All meals come with a soup and salad and dessert. Definitely save room for dessert, and get the profiterole it will blow your mind. It was quite pricey, but when you factor in all four courses and how awesome it all was, its surely worth it.

As good as previous posts indicate! Taste the goodness of homemade sauces and soups, perfectly cooked steak and lobster. Wine list is filled with fantastic flavors to pair with your meal. Great service and passion for a wonderful dining experience. Cheers!

Our third time to The Blue Heron, one of the neatest restaurants in Southwest Florida. Magnificient setting, great ambiance, unrushed, attentive. Only reason for four stars, versus five, is that I told server, when asked about food, that mine was much to hot. That's oven, not spicy. It must have been over-nuked. Nevertheless, he said and did nothing and I ended up taking entire Ciopino home in bag. It's pricey. Four dinners, nothing special, as in lobster, 2 bottles wine = $490.

Best Scallops I have ever had anywhere! Intimate, quaint, fine dining, COTTON table clothes, nice china, warm décor, amazing view, phenomenal service, and food that is 2nd to none. 1) Warm (hot) rolls with butter, a whipped pate, and/or a salmon pate AMAZING 2) Table side salad; crumbled Blue Cheese, another shrimp topping (dressing), and freshly grated Parmigianino AMAZING 3) MANHATTAN CLAM CHOWDER - AMAZING 4) Scallops AMAZING 5) Profiterole for dessert. AMAZING! If you like the old style fine dining with superb service, table side salad service, sunset views, a beautiful and intimate décor, this is the place to go!!

My husband and I had a wonderful dinner here tonight. Very well prepared food and excellent service.. I had the lobster thermidor and my husband had the steak and shrimp scampi. Excellent lemon chicken soon and salad prepared table side. Very nice selection of wines also.

The excellent service made this a delightful experience. The food was good, and the window table provided a view of the sunset.

We did not have a reservation but they happily put together a table for the two of us. The entire meal was delicious from the lobster special to the veal. Of course the beautiful sunset was the topper to the evening. Would recommend and go to again when in the area.

The Blue Heron remains the very best restaurant in Naples, period. Tonight we started with Cream of Mushroom soup. It wasn't made with flour and was anything but bland. The salad was fresh and the balsamic vinaigrette was just perfect. My crab stuffed shrimp were my ideal of what the dish should be. My fellow diners were equally pleased. The filet and lobster tail were tasty and delicious. The tuna was crusty on the outside and rare on the inside and my companion was very pleased. My wife's rack of lamb was tender and appealing. I don't normally eat dessert, but the frozen peanut butter pie was delightful. I tasted the cold key lime pie and it was the real deal not the jiggling gelatin mush that generally passes for key lime pie at the tourist traps downtown. The brownie with fudge and Haagen-Dazs ice cream sated the chocolate lover's lust, and the rum cake was just what my fellow diner wanted. On top of that, the service is polished, professional and seamless. Do not be put off by the high prices, on the value scale they are right where they should be for the quality of the dining experience.

Great dining experience. Fine dining at it's best. Great small staff make this a great place to spend a sunset while at Marco.

I dream about this meal all year long. We come annually for New Years Eve. The food is phenomenal. It is a small, lovely place with great service. The prices on the menu are high but for the quality and quantity of food you get, I think it's worth every penny. The ciopino (seafood "stew") is outstanding. Generous portions of fish, scallops, shrimp, lobster tail, and clams. The peanut butter pie is a huge treat too. HIGHLY recommended for a special treat or a romantic evening.

Seven of us met for dinner. We couldn't have enjoyed it more. The food was delicious, the service impeccable and we really enjoyed the fact that the restaurant was pleasantly quiet so that we could enjoy each others' company. Also a very nice view of the bay. Definitely worth the price.

Braced along the marina is one of those special occasion places-fine dining, coupled with pristine sunsets, and the service of an eloquent staff. Imagine a two pound lobster thermador, stuffed to the gills the size of a football. Or how about crab stuffed shrimp wrapped in proscuitto ham? These are a few examples of what's in store at The Blue Heron Inn. At the helm is the amazon-like Alex Alexander, who hails from the Bel-Aire Hotel in LA, so you know she knows what she's doing. She's strong. She's adept, and she knows what the residents of Naples expect. All main courses are accompanied by their delightful breads and spreads (the liver pate was my favorite!), soup of the day, salad, vegetables, potatoes a delectable dessert and coffee or hot tea. Rumor has it that they're soon to feature a smaller menu for lite dining. A web site is in the works as well. You'll drop a few bills, but it's worth every bite.

Wow, what a really special place! We would happily give it 6 stars if we could. Excellent food (rack of lamb was exquisite as was the surf and turf) ... wonderful selection, first class service, and a view and sunset to die for. this will definitely be a special occasion annual destination. thank you everyone at Blue Heron!

As others have said the setting is wonderful. Go for the sunset as I think that is part of what you are paying for. This is a pre-fix meal, including soup, salad, entree and desert. Dinners start @$64 and go up to $75. I had the Crab cakes as they are touted as the house special, well made but far from amazing. My companion had the Shrimp and crab wrapped with prosciutto, and it was huge and well worth the price. Wonderful roll was served but only one, put a bread basket on the table or come around with more rolls. Each course was very good and the pace was a bit faster then needed. We had a nice bottle of wine and our dinner came out to 285.00. Service was excellent. Considering the prices on the island I would say this is tops so far.I will go back!
