Great stuff! Definitely need to try this place. Sometimes the best food places are small and hard to find (not always) but this is a perfect example of a hidden gem. Basically a walk up to the counter and order food place with some seating. One of the best Mexican restaurants I have been to so far in SW Florida. You don't need to go to a sit down or fancy place because they are not as good as this dive. Burritos were amazing. The couple different tacos I tried were big and tasty. The chips and guacamole were delicious. Highly recommended

In Canada we hardly get Mexican food, so I was very excited to try a great local Mexican restaurant. This place popped up on Yelp and was close to our hotel. I tried the chicken enchiladas to go. Upon arriving at the hotel and digging in, I was not impressed. My dish still had the cartilage from the chicken and lacked flavor. A total disappointment. Then, to make things worse I felt really sick the next day. Not a great experience. But, I will give another local restaurant a try before the week is out.

Yelp steered me in the direction of this tiny Mexican restaurant tucked away in a random Naples strip mall. Thanks Yelp!!! This was legitimately some of the best Mexican food I've ever had. The steak and carne asada tacos were to die for. The meat in these bad boys was melt-in-your-mouth exquisite. We also ordered chips and guacamole, which was delicious as well. Flavorful with huge chunks of tomatoes and onions, just the way I love it. And if you're into spicy, DO NOT pass up on the hot sauce here. It was out of the world! With the quality of food being so high, the fact the prices were so cheap only makes it better. Great values and tastes to be had here. If you're visiting Naples and are a fan of this type of cuisine, do not miss Tacos Ardiente!

Hey, this is my 300th review on Yelp! I'm picking Tacos Ardiente on purpose because I just liked it that much. It might be the lack of cheap, good Mexican places where I'm from, but I was really impressed with this place. Hungry after a long day of travel, we ordered a selection of tacos and the guacamole and chips. All ingredients were fresh and flavorful and the prices were surprisingly low. A hearty portion of guacamole and chips was $4.25 or something. We liked it so much we went back the next day for dinner. All in all, we probably tried every taco variation, the guacamole and the chicken mole, and it was all good. Add in their homemade hot sauce and the unique soda selection, Jarritos, and this place hits all my sweet spots. Cheap, fresh, fast. Hard to find anything to complain about here. The "spicy" mole was not spicy enough for me, but I feel comfortable giving this place 5 stars. Wish I had this place near me.

Very solid! I love when queso, guac, etc is served in a fried bowl. Tacos were awesome and cheap ($.89). Chicken taco was really original with grilled and diced chicken. Signature hot sauce was delish. Check this place out.

For the price, this place serves up some pretty decent food. I ordered the taco tuesday special and a baja taco. I liked how the hard shell was thin and crispy, and the filling was well seasoned. The flour tortilla was standard. At a dollar and change for two hard shell, ground meat tacos, I really don't have much to complain about. However, at 2.50 ish for a baja taco, they totally skimped out on the fish. I think there were 3-4 small and thin pieces of breaded fish, which had more breading than fish. Otherwise, the flavor wasn't bad overall.

  • Nicolas L.

I have never been to Mexico but, if I had, this is what I would imagine traditional authentic tacos to taste like. I tried the Carne Asada Tacos and they were fantastic. The meat was tender and the veggies were fresh and flavorful. The sides of beans and rice were also very good. Basically everything you would want from a Taco.

Came here with a craving for a chimichanga after first trying it recently in CA. My bf ordered tacos which he said were delicious and fresh. My chimichanga was also delicious, although I wish was a little crispier. Maybe ask for extra crispy next time? I also started looking through pictures afterwards and found pictures of my same order that looked way crispier. Will give them another chance ;) The hot sauce, which you have to ask for sec to required refrigeration, is amazing! Don't forget to ask for it. Small place but provides outside seating. Try to avoid prime lunch time, the line goes out the door

  • Cessalee S.

Soo good! The tacos were so good! I got a pretty big variety and the price was definitely right! Honestly I'm mostly just reviewing so I can find it and know where to go again!

  • Richard K.

Man I hate to do this! This place has really gone downhill, it's filthy it smells and the quality of food has gone into the gutter. I don't plan on going back, my last order was enchiladas, they came out of the freezer from outside, they were freezer burnt and ice cold in the center. My daughters tacos we're disgusting, it was like they scraped the meat off the bottom of a burnt pan, this isn't the first time its really hit or miss lately. I hope they get their act together, at the very least clean this s*** hole up.

Super awesome steak tacos. Good prices, really quick, and delicious. Will come back. :)

Very similar to a block heads type of vibe! And if you have visited New York City you know this is a cool spot! Hidden jewel for any block head lover visiting Florida! I ordered a nachos platter.. Tasted great and good customer service!

  • Michael S.

Tried multiple different things. All the meat was tasteless and dry. I went because of the great reviews but am perplexed as to why people like this place. Maybe I just hit them on an off night.

    (2)
  • Chelsea J.

Horrible service. Mediocre food. Will not be coming back. The guy behind the counter told me to "read the menu next time" when I asked for my food to be recooked because I didn't realize it would have more onions than meat and I can't eat a bunch of onions so yea... I saw it had onions but your menu didn't say grilled onions with a side of steak... It said steak with grilled onions.

Food was awesome!!!! I had the chicken tacos and my hubby had the steak tacos. Delicious!! The homemade salsa is great too. Very happy to have found this place. The prices are great too.

Traveling for business in Naples and found this near my hotel in a rainstorm. No bells or whistles in this place- just amazing Mexican Food. Steak tacos were fantastic and Cheese Taquitos (the special) were out of this world. I drive up to Sarasota in a few days and will make a point to go out of my way and stop here for a meal.

Well..I really wanted to like this place. . Close as your going to get to authentic mexican around south west fl.. but I went around 9p last night and the steak tacos were extremely dry kinda taste like sawdust. . The burrito supreme was big and great as well as the beans and rice.. didnt see charro beans on the menu tho.. that woulda been nice.. lastly, I ordered a side of guac with my togo order got to hotel and they forgot it.. woulda made those dry steak tacos a little better.. the hot sauce is good be careful with that!

No different than any "Mexican" place you'd find next to the local watering hole (Pelican Larry's in this case). Good food for soaking up alcohol or nursing a hangover. Not great but not bad either. They do steak burritos & tacos pretty well.

  • Nancy C.

Went here last week and we will be back. One of the owners were there and he navigated us through the menu - he was very nice and helpful. I had the Tostada suprema, husband had fish tacos. Both were excellent, freshly made w/real ingredients with mexican flair. it was authentic all the way....

  • Lisa O.

I had to review this place , it was a disappointment based on the fact that I've eaten at Taco Ardiente for the past 15+ years. The quality of good is definitely below standard and nothing compared to what you used to get. While quantity is good, the food is nothing to write home about. This particular location seems to be busy but it's nothing more than fast food quality Mexican food. If you're looking for great Mexican food, go elsewhere.

I was in Naples on business. After spending $400 on a hotel I was not expecting to have to pay for, I chose this place; it had four and a half stars and one dollar sign. I ordered the Chimichanga, my Mexican staple. It was Ahhhhmazing. If you are in the Naples area I highly recommend trying this food.

    (4)
  • Michael G.

This place is definitely the definition of a hole in the wall location. The setting is not that great, but it is the spot in Naples for casual Mexican food. The prices are great and the menu is plenty big and the food is delicious. If you're into spicy dishes, make sure to ask them for the hot sauce they keep behind the counter.

    (4)
  • Abe B.

Incredibly fast, friendly service; amazing food; and extremely reasonable prices. I was impressed with their chicken tacos. Will definitely be coming back!

  • Lily R.

Great spot for a filling, inexpensive lunch! We got here just after 12, which was just right because the place got slammed right after we got in line. Luckily they move you through and have your food done quickly so you can get back to work in a reasonable amount of time. The steak quesadilla was huge and very tasty and I love the fresh quac they serve on the side with it. I will definitely be back to try some other things on the menu!

Pretty good fast Mexican food. I was a little grossed out by the cashier. She grabbed the churros with her bare hand, the same one she working the cash register and handling money with. Ahhh. Gross. Salsa was just ok. Needs to be cut up more. Tortillas were good. Liked the shrimp taco. Prices reasonable.

In town at a conference from work and was looking for a quick, cheap place to grab lunch. Boy did I get lucky wth Taco Ardiente! My friend and I decided to hop in the car and take the quick ride over here based on the reviews of this place. When we first walked up, we figured it was good due to the line that was almost out the door. While we waited (only for about 2 minutes), we perused the menu and decided that we were going to order all of it...then we decided to pare down our order. We ended up getting the Burrito Supreme which happened to be on special today, a large bean dip, a shrimp tostada, 2 carnitas tacos, and a steak taco. We also got a couple of brews to wash it all down with...and yes, when I drink beer at a Mexican place, I drink Dos Equis. Stay thirsty my friends. The bean dip was good, but not amazing. A very healthy portion of chips and dip was quite satisfying. The beans were good, but seemed mostly like some spiced up refried beans. Nothing special. The Burrito was stuffed full and delicious according to my friend. The shrimp tostada was good but again, nothing great. The shrimp were well marinated in lime and cilantro and served over lettuce with some onions. It normally comes with fresh salsa, but I don't eat fresh tomatoes so I got it without. The steak taco was TO DIE FOR! Like a truly traditional taco from Mexico, there was just enough meat, cabbage, onion and cilantro to coat the taco in their homemade red and green hot sauces and then shovel my mouth full of the tender goodness. I could have eaten 50 of them. The carnitas tacos were great as well. One of my tacos had meat that was a little dry, but the other one was filled with tender and delicious pork. The pig is a noble animal my friends. Anything with pig is automatically good in my book, but these were great. We decided to finish our meal off with some churros that ended up being the perfect sweet touch to end this great lunch. Can't wait to come back tomorrow, and Saturday while I'm still here! (Update 3 days later: I did go back "tomorrow, and Saturday...")

Best food for the price. One of my favorite places in Naples. Been coming here for over ten years. Best tacos in the world hands down.

  • Ivana D.

Super delicious and very reasonably priced. We come here so often, the staff knows us. I took my parents here recently, though they live an hour away, they now like to come visit frequently just to be able to eat at Ardiente. Hands down one of my favorite little places in Naples. I order something different every time because everything is just that good. Expect them to be extremely, extremely busy between 11am and 1pm.

  • Dash K.

Authentic, delicous food. The avocado/guacamole is spectacular. Tastes like they just chopped it up before serving it (probably did). The hard and soft tacos are just perfect with carne asada (grilled steak). I love mexican food and I can't wait to go back to the west coast to get some more!

  • MARIA G.

Sorry for the blurps but it should get its point across! 5.49 for 6 soft tacos or 8 hard tacos. Chimichanga for 5.19. Daily specials including 2 taco Tuesdays for 1.39! BF wanted to get the steak fries - steak on fries. What?! Cheap, fast, greasy, delicious!

Great cheap eats, this place has always been good to me. Service has always been cool & the taco deal is fantastic, only fast food tacos I'll grab on the fly.

My first impressions were bad. The exterior of the restaurant is very deteriorated and dirty, not to mention old. Understandably, I was very wary as I sat down for lunch. Still, my boyfriend had been here many times before and assured me that I would change my mind as soon as I tried the food. Let me tell you how right he was. We ordered a cheese enchilada, a taco salad, and a bean burrito. The plates were beautifully arranged and LARGE. I was amazed that they could serve so much delicious-tasting food at such reasonable prices. I've been here twice more and every time I'm greeted by friendly staff and great food. I also appreciate the fact that I can pay at the beginning of the meal, thus making it the perfect quick luncheon.

  • David J.

This place is worth stopping at. Taco Tuesday. Chicken taco Monday. Huge chimichanga for $7 or $8. It will feed a big boy for less than $10. The husband and wife who have been running/ working / cleaning/ cooking/ etc there forever are always nice, polite and go the extra mile. They remember locals. They take care of their regulars. It's a no nonsense red plastic basket taco joint. But always good. Lettuce and meat is good and prices are totally reasonable. Good family run taco restaurant with specials. Not one complaint.

  • Chuck W.

Take it for what it is: a whole in the wall, with no atmosphere, an entirely unappealing view of a poor man's strip mall parking lot, paper plates and baskets for service, and hot sauce that comes out of a squeeze bottle they keep in a refrigerator behind the counter. BUT with darn good food that is very inexpensive. The steak tacos are the highlight. It just depends on what you are looking for. Nice place to hang for margaritas and appetizers while having a romantic time away from kids? Oh, heck no. Cheap lunch that tastes really good where you can wear shorts and a t-shirt - perfect.

  • Izayana C.

This place was an amazing find! Ordered the steak burrito and a side of chips and guacamole, holy cow it was good! I LOVE guacamole. It tasted very fresh and was very well seasoned. It's served in this toasted tortilla looking bowl lol with the chips on the side. My bf had some and even he thought it was very good. The burrito was just as delicious! It's so messy though! Why? It's so jam packed with meat and veggies that it's just bursting at the seams! They do not skimp on the meat here! It was also a bit wet from the juicy insides so that didn't help when it came to it staying together. However, it's a small price to pay for good food and good portions. Very reasonable pricing too. If I'm ever in the area again; I would love to stop by this place again.

Fast, cheap, delicious, tacos pastor are awesome. I discovered this lunch spot close to my work thanks to Yelp. I love the place and have already been several times in my first few weeks. I keep wanting to venture out and try other items on the menu, but I can't get enough of their more authentic mexican tacos. always a line at lunch so you know that is a great sign. The staff are fast and efficient and very friendly. Definitely make sure you add salsa picante to your food as it's great accompaniment. I knew I would probably find some good mexican food down in South Florida, and I have not been disappointed

a great find not far from all the overpriced hotel food! Loved the carne asada quesadilla with sour cream and guacamole :) Also they had homemade horchata! I am stuffed!

Looks can be deceiving. At first glance I might shy away from this place, but I'm always up for trying something at least once. What a surprise. Fed 2 people for $11 and had some of the best tacos I've ever had. Everything tasted fresh and like it was made with care. I had the fish, chicken, and steak tacos. Can't complain about any of it. And they had the order out and perfect in under 3 minutes. This place is great.

Awesome tacos. The meat is always juicy, and full of flavor. These are the best tacos I've had in Florida. I recommend the carne asada, and the shrimp tacos. You won't regret stoping by.

Got my Taco fix here 3 times this week. Great food, great. Value. Staff is very pleasant.

  • Kristine R.

The al pastor and barbacoa tacos were flavorful and super yummy. That being said, the fish tacos were horrible, greasy and tasted like fish sticks, and that's why I knocked off a star. The house made hot sauce was good, not out of this world though (Fernandez the Bull makes yummy hot sauce) I will definitely be back and hopefully with time they'll improve upon the fish tacos and possibly offer a grilled instead of fried fish.

  • Ling S.

4 out of 5 stars just for the steak burrito!!!!! Huge burrito with juicy steak and great seasoning for only like $5 bucks. Unlike many burritos, this one actually has a ton of steak in it. No beans and rice filler. There's cilantro (my favorite)!!!! Make sure to ask for their homemade hot sauce. It packs a kick and is very tasty. Don't have very high expectations about the atmosphere. It's old and run down, but it does the job. The staff is nice. No complaints there. Go here for cheap and easy Mexican food!

Every time I come to Florida I have to eat here! Authentic food cooked on the spot and its SUPER low key. Now, maybe its not the fanciest joint ever, but the food is terrific and isn't that what matters?

I am on a roll. Though this is 20 miles from The Coma ( Cape Coral) This is a great place for burritos & taco. I knew I was in a good place with a line starting to form out the door. The one of very few places that gave me my order the way I ask for it caliente. (hot) They even asked if I wanted fresh or pickled peppers. WOW you gotta luv a place like this. To rant on, its a cheap place & excellent food. Especially here in the over 65 age bracket with money to burn Naples.. So if you feel the need to feed on caliente cuisine, Come here. Its a mile or so from Traders Joes.

I had always suspected that the tripas in the tacos isn't actually tripe, so I picked up a couple and a bowl of menudo for dinner. While the menudo is most definitely full of tripe, the tacos de tripas are most definitely full of crispy small intestine (aka chitterlings), NOT tripe. I guess that I should have taken Spanish in school, instead of French. In any case, I'll always have cravings for tacos de tripas from Tacos Ardiente. They are muy delicioso!

Great food, they even have a drive thru at the golden gate location. I recommend the quesadillas and jalapeño poppers.

  • David D.

Taco Ardiente is a hidden gem in Naples Fl. The food, service, price, and portions are great. Taco Ardiente is not your typical sit down restaurant. The setup is like a NY style pizzeria where you wait in line to order and then sit down to eat. I do warn you, people line up all the way out side during lunch hour just to get some of their delicious menu items. I recommend the streak burrito, taco salad with chicken or steak, and the steak tacos. Enjoy!

  • Joseph R.

This is the best Mexican food in naples, it's fast and authentic food, you can't beat the low price and how great the food is. I usually always get some soft tacos and they come out fast and delicious.

  • Dana C.

Just what we were looking for. Straightforward tacos and cold beers, both reasonably priced. The tacos al pastor we're good. Baja tacos were a little overcooked and dry. Sauce also reminded us of a French dressing. Ask for the spicy sauce on the side which seems to be a homemade blend. We took the rest home to enjoy!

I just love the food they make, and it's so cheap! Everything just tastes so fresh! I especially like the Nacho Grande , and the burritos, and their rice and guacamole are just delicious! It doesnt have the best interior, but , in my opinion, these kind of places aren't good for the way they look but for the food they present to the customers. It's always a pleasure to get smth from Taco Ardiente. Never beed disappointed!

If you want cheap, come. Yes, it is a great quick lunch for hungry construction workers or a family of 12, but... thats about it. Forget the atmosphere, just get to the point, order, and walk out. Health dept closed the one on Golden gate for many rat violations, finally tore building down and moved. You get my drift. They do not have enchiladas, more reason for me not to go, tho the rat thing still haunts me.

I have to give these people 5 stars... for the little hole in the wall that it is, it packs a hell of a punch with the authentic and great tasting fresh Mexican food. The service good, but I have to say that the food is just off the chain.... By far the best in all of South Florida.

Steak tacos and fajita were favorites! It's not the ritz but the food and service is outstanding. Authentic Mexican food. Friendly and clean enough for my family to Enjoy without breaking the bank. You won't be disappointed !

Went today and had 3 pork soft tacos and a beer Pork was nice, firm little chopped bits covered in a spice rub Salsa was fresh, corn tortillas were soft, lots of cilantro and a really nice thin salsa in a cold squirt bottle that tasted of fresh cilantro and chilies. I asked the what to order and this was it. Simple, cheap but very fresh and tasty. Will definitely go back!

Delicious Mexican food.. At a place southerners would call a hole in the wall. Great quality ingredients for a good price. I ordered a carnita and two chicken tacos, both delicious, along with Mexican rice, also which was delicious. Got all of that for $6! Definitely stop by for lunch if you're nearby.

The food was OK, however as we sat at the table eating our dinner we watched the cook that just cooked our food and others empty the trash cans and push it down with his bare hands. The problem was that after he did that he went right back to cooking without ever washing his hands. I wouldn't even give it a 1/4 of a star after watching that. The other thing I found to be rude was the fact that the owner or manager was drinking and carrying on with the two women behind us and they were loud and obnoxious.

Skip chipolte and come here. Steak tacos were delicious! And the staff was friendly. Of course if you have an eye for great dives you will naturally be drawn to it when driving down highway 41...and you won't be disappointed!

First the good news: the food was tasty (I had the chicken quesadilla), and the waitress was friendly and attentive. That's why they earned even one star. Now the bad news: they need to close their doors for 48 - 72 hours and clean, clean clean everything! I am talking high pressure hot steam and lots of Clorox Bleach clean. The air vents on the ceiling were once white, but now they're covered with filth. Speaking of filth, I had the misfortune of glancing back into the kitchen area before I left the restaurant. It's the kind of dirty kitchen you see on the Restaurant Impossible or Restaurant Rescue shows.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: there's nothing wrong with doing TexMex/Americanized Mexican food and doing it well, but you'll get off on the wrong foot with me if you pretend you're doing authentic Mexican food when you're not. Taco Ardiente seems to have one foot firmly in place in the Taco Bell realm of Mexican Food, and its other foot stuck somewhere where as long as you offer queso and margaritas, you can call yourself Mexican. I always judge a Mexican restaurant by its carnitas and the ones at Taco Ardiente just weren't very good. A little bit stringy, a little dry, and the pork had a slightly gamey taste to it. My husband got the chicken mole and that was actually surprisingly good; the sauce had a nice zing and his meat was tender. Sides were typical: "Mexican" rice and some refried beans, and maybe a "salad" (where salad = chopped iceberg lettuce and some guac). Essentially if this place were any more expensive than it is, I'd say give it a pass. But if you're looking for heavy, cheap not-really-authentic Mexican food, then Taco Ardiente is fine. It's probably even better if you're drunk and needing something starchy and fat-filled to soak up the booze, but as a sober dining option, the only truly Mexican element to this place is the price.

Checked out this place when staying in a nearby hotel because it had good reviews and we were not disappointed. At first sight I was put off a bit because I felt like the place could have been a bit cleaner and updated (really the only reason I have 4 instea of 5) but the food was all great! The guacamole was good, the fish tacos were yummy as was the steak tacos and seviche taco. It looked like they have good daily specials also, and we ended up going back the next day. Would definitely recommend for a quick an cheap Mexican food place!

Okay - second visit to Taco Ardiente. I ordered the chicken burrito - it was very tasty flavored grilled chicken - nice - yum! And each bite kept getting better and better. Sure, there is hot cabbage in there, but it is TASTY! The tortilla did not fall apart so the burrito held its integrity - that gets a lot of points from me. Then we ordered nachos with cheese sauce - the cheese sauce was in an edible bowl! Yes! - This is a huge bowl of steaming nacho cheese and it is goooood! Finally, I just had to get more of that amazing taco meat and ordered a single hard shell taco. It did not disappoint!!! I Cannot Wait to go back to Taco Ardiente!!!!

fast, cheap, and tasty Mexican food. Im from San Diego and I know my Mexican food-this place is great. I have a slight obsession with the Barbacoa tacos-their Barbacoa is lamb, not pork. I love the tacos so much that I ask them to make me a barbacoa burrito and add cheese to get a bigger portion....I love it! Soooo juicy and flavorful. My husband usually orders the chicken tacos. They have daily specials too! Ceviche is good but only if it is fresh made that day-i ask. Friendly staff. A great place to go to grab dinner or lunch

I hadnt been here in about 7 years and was glad to see they were still open. Unfortunately its about the only thing in this strip mall that still is open. The place is not really that clean or fancy looking and if I hadnt eaten there before I might have stayed away...but the food is just as good as I remember. I ordered the Barbacoa tacos and the chicken tacos - very good. I got a bottle of house made hot sauce and drenched the tacos, as the sauce was very good indeed! Wash it down with a good Dos Equis and a lime and youve got a close to authentic Mexican meal!

My family has been coming here for years. They have terrific authentic Mexican food. For five bucks you can get an amazing veggie burrito and small homemade agua horchata. I usually hit this place up on my way to the beach for a quick cheap lunch that is perfect gulf-side. They offer friendly service and daily specials. Also there are plenty of vegetarian options. Everyone I have ever taken here loves it! You will too. Tip: try the homemade hot sauce; you will not be disappointed. They have a green and a red; both are worth the trip alone.

Dig it. Consistent, tasty, great tamales... amazing deals... love this place when we want a quick & cheap eat. It's more american viewed mexican, not the real deal, but once you get that, it's fantastic for what it is... the 8 taco deal has gotten me through many days without the Misses! Great house-made hot sauces as well.

I was highly encouraged by the listing of menu items- perhaps this would be a real live tasty Mexican taco stand in SW Florida! And who knows, maybe it is, but the one thing I learned for sure was that I shouldn't have ordered the steak burrito!! I did note that the menu stated that it had cabbage on it, but I was kinda expecting crispy, cold cabbage and not boiled slimy stuff. The 'steak' seemed to be stewed as well. Not untasty, but the texture was not so great. "Real" Coke from Mexico (made with cane sugar and not corn syrup) was a nice touch, however.

Authentic Mexican Food... you find things here that you don't get on your typical Mexican restaurant... like Menudo Soup... and Cow Tongue meat... but if you are not that adventurous they also have all the more normal dishes an the prices are great...

Who wouldn't like 8 taco's for $5.00? They're good too. This place is fast and cheap. The burrito's are huge. Their portions are large and filling. Ask for the house hot sauce. You can't really get a hot hot cha cha sauce, but it's tasty none the less. The atmosphere is nothing special, but you can sit outside which is nice. If you want some good Mexican food this is the place!

Our rental car had problems, so while we were returning it to the place next door, we wandered in here for lunch. The restaurant is small, but it has heart. I had a chicken quesadilla that was quite good, and whatever unlabeled hot sauce they gave us (homemade?) was satisfying.

Went to Naples for a visit and read the reviews for this restaurant. The Bean Dip was AMAZING! The edible bowl was one of the best parts... Fresh tortilla chips made it even better! You must try the steak taco and the steak burrito both are exceptional!!!! The prices are very reasonable!!! Went there for dinner and had to go back for lunch before we left the following day. This is a a must try restaurant when visiting the Naples area!!!!

I used to drive all the way to Naples from Fort Myers at least once a week, just to eat here. I've been coming here for more than a decade, and I still make the trip, just not as often. As it's been explained to me, Taco Ardiente is a franchise and not all the locations are equal. I was at this location a couple of months ago and it was still good. My favorite things are the Carne Asada Tacos. Simple and delicious.

About Taco Bell

Taco Bell is a haven for Mexican delicacies such as tacos, quesadillas, burritos, nachos, and other specialty items. Owned by Yum! Brands, Inc. Taco Bell is one of the fastest growing American chains of fast food restaurants. The restaurant operates from 7,072 different locations which are mostly run by independent franchisees and licensees.

The background story of Taco Bell is interesting and inspiring for budding entrepreneurs. The fast-food brand is the brainchild of Glen Bell, who started his first food venture as a hot dog seller in San Bernardino, California. The year was 1948. After witnessing long queues outside a Mexican restaurant called Mitla Café across the street, Bell saw the opportunity and demand for hard-shelled Tacos. He reverse-engineered the recipe and later started selling Tacos and called the venture Taco-Tia.

Later, the name changed from Taco-Tia to El Taco. Eventually, Glen Bell sold the company to his partner and opened the first Taco Bell in Downey in 1962. By 1964, the restaurant also got its first franchise in Torrance. The 100th Taco Bell restaurant was opened by 1965. PepsiCo acquired Taco Bell from Glen Bell in 1978 and the restaurant brand is currently a subsidiary of Yum! Brands which looks after the restaurant business of PepsiCo.

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque.
