If you want to have the most amazing breakfast of your life be sure to stop in! My boyfriend is still dreaming of blueberry pancakes while I dream of the corned beef hash skillet! Since we went there twice while we were in Naples I was also able to try the Philly cheese steak skillet. Heaven! The corned beef hash is made from scratch which was such a treat! Everyone was very friendly and both times we were able to get a table fairly quickly.

We were in Naples the week of July 21 - 28. Skillets was the best breakfast by far in Naples. We went twice. A warning ..... It is expensive. Loving coffee as we do I must mention the coffee is horrid, at $2.50 it tastes like watery dishwater. I kicked myself for not remembering the second time and coming in with my own Starbucks or Dunkin coffee, or skipping it all together and getting juice. The food is so worth the visit though. The bacon awesome and thick without grease. The pancakes, grits, corned beef hash eggs all cooked to perfection. The wait staff was attentive and helpful, and it's very clean and bright inside. Not a sticky mess like an IHOP.

Excellent breakfast. I would not expect a place like this in Florida. Good home style cooking with very friendly wait staff.

one word sums it up! YUMMY!!!! We started our breakfast w/grapefruit juice. The freshest juice I've ever had!! No "from concentrate" here!!! And it's served in a frosty mug!! Nice touch!!!! My husband & I finished that off with a quickness!! I ordered banana pecan waffles w/bacon. The pecans were cooked inside the waffle & then a banana or three was cut into slices & topped the waffle. My husband ordered blueberry waffles. The blueberries were cooked inside instead of a gooey uber sweet compote on top. The waffles were so pretty! the edges were lacy & browned. I don't think either of us uttered a word once they were delivered! Oh, and the bacon was cooked perfectly! Crisp but not overcooked, it was thick cut so it was still tender. As I write this, I am CRAVING!!!!!

I have been coming to This place for years. Unfortunately the food has gone down hill and the prices have gone to the moon. $10 for an omelet?? It's not that good. Service was a little slow as well. It seems my server had a few too many tables

Best breakfast place in town. Hands down! (BTW I rarely eat breakfast).

Get the waffle with strawberries and whip cream!! Best breakfast I've EVER had! The OJ comes in frothy mugs freshly squeezed. Yumm Yumm

Just saw this on Yelp while on vacation, stopped in for a late lunch and was very please with everything. Our server was patient, helpful, answered all our questions and we built omelettes exactly how we wanted them. They were delicious and huge! Great grits, cinnamon raisin toast, bagel, and the fruit was also terrific. Coffee never ending, a pitcher of water in the table, great atmosphere.. In short, highly recommended! You won't be disappointed!

LOVE Skillets! Super homey ambiance, good and plenty food, great service and fast. Would come back over and over again.

Three out of four dishes cold and wrong. All hash browns are gooey and have cheese, you must order without cheese since it's standard. Oj and service was the only good part. Won't return even tho they comped the meal

I visited this place due to the great reviews, and I am so glad I did. It was really good.. The skillet potatoes were out of control (hashbrown casserole with special cream cheese sauce -amazing) and the pecan crusted and cinnamon french toast that my husband ordered was phenomenal. I ordered the turkey club which was really good but the portions could have fed the whole restaurant. The orange juice was freshly squeezed which is always a plus.. Great place for brunch!!

How does this place not have a ton of positive reviews yet?! It's easily the best breakfast spot in Naples, hands down. Everything is homemade, including all the bread and scones. Great pancakes, homemade corned-beef hash (NOT from a can), plus they know how to properly cook bacon at this place. We go here all the time. Get there early -- after 9AM, it can be hard to get a table.

Type "diner near Naples" into Google Maps and you'll come up with a dozen or so hits. This isn't one of them. Skillet is a nice place to take your family for breakfast. It has a large interior, you can get seated quickly, and the portions are big. The service is nice. Parking is easy. If Yelp had a 3.5 stars, that's what this would get.

A must for breakfast. The bacon is amazing and so are the blueberry pancakes. the has browns are kind of like daupinois with a crispy brown outside. This is the best breakfast place I've been to in a long time.

Breakfast was not too bad everything that came around it was not so hot. Dirty mugs, no cutlery, and a not so enthusiastic / bitter hostess welcomed us. Not sure if e will give this a second chance.

Great food and plenty of it. Skillet potatoes are great, and the OJ is fresh squeezed. Other bread options besides toast were the scone of the day (banana/pecan was delicious), banana bread, biscuits, etc which was a nice touch. Definitely recommend over IHOP.

This place was AMAZING. The service was impeccable. Our waitress was engaging, sweet, attentive and very funny. My mother had the special: peach crepes. Those peaches were fresh. Delicious I had the rum raisin pancakes (that exists!) and they were also delicious. The potato pancake was delicious too. My brother ordered eggs with gravy biscuits and bacon. SO GOOD. The bacon is thick cut and sweet. The eggs were cooked perfectly. Everything was amazing and the service was great. I highly recommend Skillets for breakfast or brunch.

Mmmm breakfast... While in Naples a few weekends ago, via Yelp I stumbled upon Skilletz. I had a sense it would be a good find being that there was a wait. Eventually we were seated and the fun began. Before we sat down, I noticed on their menu the mention of, "everything made from scratch". That's when I knew I was in for a real treat. The feel of the diner is a little different than most. It has almost a log cabin/country kitchen kind of feel. A lot of wood everywhere from the walls and beams to the flooring. It's not bad by any means, it sort of has that Cracker Barrel type of feel, but this place runs circles around Cracker Barrel. We had a very sweet waitress who gave us the specials. Let us know again that everything, even the scones are made from scratch. I ordered potato pancakes which were amazing. Three big pancakes with a large side of apples and helping of sour cream. Delightful. The eggs were cooked to my liking and the rye toast was great too. Everything was exceptional. Hopefully I can get myself back over to Naples soon to give this place another try. My only regret was I didn't get a scone. Looks like I've found my reason!

The service was great. Food was good, and portions were perfect. Their home fries are amazing, a cream cheesy hash with a little scallion. Never had it like that before! Next time we're Naples we hope to have it again :)

In need of a quick breakfast before a lacrosse tournament, and wanting something a bit more substantial than our usual Dunkin Donuts, we used trusted Yelp to find Skillets. At this homey looking place, the service was fast & friendly and the food was solid and reasonably priced. 10 year old had the Brussels Waffles ($7.50). They were okay, but they tasted almost too healthy. My eggs, grits, & toast ($6.50) were good. One if the more unusual items that 8 year old ordered was the Oatmeal Brûlée: steel cut Irish oatmeal with nuts & fruit. It was really good. The biscuit that came with it was not as healthy but tasted even better! Other breakfast items include crepes, potato pancakes, frittatas, blintzes, burritos, benedicts, you name it! Skillets also has a lunch menu with sandwiches, salads, paninis, wraps, & soups. The most expensive item on the menu is $12. On the menu I see Skillets has four other west coast locations. I would love to see one in my neighborhood. With good food, great service, & reasonable prices, it would be a great addition. Plus, am I nuts, or do their waffles look like the yelp burst?

We just went this morning and are already planning our next visit. We had no wait this morning in June, and service was quick. I love a friendly breakfast place with a super extensive menu. When pulling in, at first it just looks like a strip mall store, not very appetizing, but it's a beautiful bright restaurant on the inside.

    (5)
  • Samantha M.

So very delicious. The menu had everything you could want from cheese blintzes to Irish corned beef hash to the more regular breakfast meals like pancakes and eggs, etc. We were seated almost immediately despite it being a Saturday morning. The staff was very friendly. Great first breakfast in naples!

Couldn't wait to return on this latest trip to Naples! Gracie was our server & she was very friendly and accommodating. The orange cranberry scone was to.die.for. Don't pass this place up for breakfast!

DELICIOUS! THE SKILLETS ARE A MUST HAVE! I created my own with tomatoes, parmesan cheese, mushrooms and green onions. It also came with a scone. To DIE FOR!

Good food and reasonably priced for the area. Service was good. Has a family diner atmosphere. Waitresses leave you your own pot of coffee for the table. We ordered the Irish Benedict and Parmesan Potato Pancake Benedict with Blueberry Scone. Both were tasty. They also have a few gluten free pancake and waffle options.

Very roomy and comfortable restaurant with friendly service and delicious food. The french omelet is a must try if you like savory omelets, the goat cheese in it is perfection. The blueberry and banana wheatcakes are chuck full of blueberries, almost doesn't need syrup! Coffee is good and strong. Great place for breakfast!

Consistently delicious. One of the few breakfast places our kids clean their plates. The potatoes are delicious and there is something for every one. My husband prefers the messier stuff (corned beef hash) and I prefer the simpler- their cheese omelet is really flavorful- I think they use at least 3 kinds of cheese in it. The baked goods are also fresh. We keep coming back for the potatoes alone.

  • Laura R.

This place seems like noting special from tbe outside... And even on the inside at first glance, however as soon as you walk past tables brimming with skillet specials you know this spot has something great going on. As someone with celiac disease I was Delighted to open the menu and immediately see a menu insert advertising gluten free pancakes and waffles! Also while most places give you one cup of coffee, Skillets gives you your own giant thermos of coffee! Brilliant

My boyfriend and I are HUGE breakfast fans and we always look for a local diner type place. We sound this place and it was close to where we were staying and the muni looked good so, we went. EVERYTHING exceeded our expectations. We were warmly greeted by our server Gracie. She brought a fresh pot of coffee and carafe of water to the table, and asked if we would like some freshly squeezed OJ. We were given the tastiest frosted mug of orange goodness!! Our meals were nothing short of amazing. I had the 2 egg breakfast. It came with potatoes that were rich and cheesy and I could have eaten for days. And the Apple chicken sausage is a MUST try!! My boyfriend had the Belgian waffle and it was delicious! We will for sure be back again for breakfast!!

In all of its country-kitsch glory, Skillets brings customers to the happy side of your coffee cup. It's almost like the Jimmy Dean sun guy slowly introducing you to your day as you transport into a place where everything has a sunny yellow tinge to it. You either welcome the happy-go-lucky ambiance, or some days you just want to take a bat to whomever tells you that you must have a bad case of the Mondays. If you choose to embrace the lovely environment while waiting for your coffee to come, you'll definitely love this homely atmosphere with little lace curtain valences, wood country chairs and tables, faux window panes, shelves of roosters, and elderly people that go into a time warp thinking this is their kitchen. Skillets typically get their customers. They are very friendly, but friendly with pep in their step. Their timing is impeccable and they are courteous. Our server welcomed all of the strange requests that were added our altered to our order without a flinch. This place doesn't educate their customers on why things can't happen or bash the people that can't make it happen. They're keeping it classy, country-style. Their food is consistently decent, and you have all the options to go in the right healthy direction, or its polar opposite. If you want to make your own omelet with sausage, bacon and corned beef with three kinds of cheese, or ask for gravy with your side biscuit, guess what? You can totally do that. Instead of toast, I get a slice of banana bread and ask them to throw it on the grill to make it a little toast-like. They also offer different scones every day which is always something to look forward to, and they offer a plethora of daily specials. If you go for the breakfast, you have to order anyone of their skillets with their famous hybrid mashed/hashbrown potatoes and/or thick cut bacon. Now for the healthy option, my recommendation is to get one of their wheat germ pancakes, or their very-veggie frittata with egg white substitute. This frittata is jampacked with vegetables and the frittata is absolutely light and fluffy. Their salads are also super packed with substantial items with protein and vitamins. My co-worker ordered a spinach salad and it had a beautiful portion of boiled eggs and other wonderful vegetables. They have a great spread of sandwiches for lunch, but I don't remember much about the lunch menu, except when someone ordered a Kentucky Hot Brown. Holy Google It, Batman! P.S. Thank you for bringing my coffee in a carafe. It makes much more sense than to pester your server or wait patiently for one simple refill after the next. I've also noticed that all of their condiments are on the table; from ketchup, sugar, salt/pepper, jams, butter, cream, etc. This confirms the no-nonsense about asking for what you need. Although the real estate on the table can get a little crowded, it's nice to have everything in hand's reach. So in short, look past the yellow and just eat. 21-2015

Ahhh I wish this was closer to home! Everything we ever order here is incredible. Top on my list: Spanish Frittata and their french toast. The potatoes they serve on the side are like a potato bake and just SO GOOD! We usually get takeout here, and for the first time we went to the restaurant and dined in. All staff was efficient and lovely. They were very busy but did not effect the service or the food. It was clean and neat and homey. Everything you want from a casual country style breakfast!

My daughter and I ate here on vacation. Staff was awesome and clearly has a huge regular clientele The hash browns are crazy good they are fluffed with ricotta of sour cream. I had skillet and was impressed. Latkes were really good pancakes and regular breakfast items were top notch. They also make their own baked goods which are really good as well

Best Breakfast lunch spot with a full menu and everything is awesome. Wonderful daily specials. A few different locations in the area. The skillets are my favorite, followed by the malt waffles. I get both. Friendly waitresses and country decor.

Perhaps all the great reviews encouraged expectations that couldn't be met. Or maybe it was an off day (for them or for me) And I mean - it's breakfast. Limited ingredients that can only be combined in limited ways. So..... Here are the Pro's - they do leave a coffee carafe at the table, which was great. Our server was pleasant and knew the menu, a plus. Blintz was tasty and properly prepared. Restaurant was clean, and we were seated at once. The Con's - my OJ was not served in a wonderfully frosty mug as advertised. I eat my eggs fried hard, yolks broken and smashed. No runny yellow. Which is exactly how I ordered them. And NOT how I received them. If you are a breakfast restaurant, you should be able cook eggs correctly. Opinions may vary - my bacon was not the best ever as it was overcooked. And cold. Hubs hated the Skillets potatoes, but he is the pickiest eater known to mankind, so you might love them. BFF did, but she said they were cold. And it was not inexpensive (not that anything in Naples is) but I expected better food for the price. Disappointing.

I went a few days ago, can't remember the exact names of what we ordered, but Miley meal was the French toast with berries and banana on top (the picture is on the menu). I had my meal with only one French toast and eggs with sausage, I also added a biscuit (one of my favorites I've had). My boyfriend had the bacon and onion skillet. Everything was DELICIOUS and our waitress was very sweet (I wish I remembered her name). Awesome place for breakfast!

    (5)
  • T.R. D.

Fresh squeezed OJ is a total plus. The corned beef hash is as good as you will find anywhere. It's a big enough space and a bit hidden away so the wait time for breakfast on Easter Sunday was not too bad.

    (4)
  • Chan S.

I ordered the French toast with scrambled eggs. Then I couldn't decide on the bacon or sausage, so l got both. Good decision, because both meats were delicious. The bacon was SOOO... thick.MM..MM..MMM.. It's so good words couldn't describe the rest of my meal. So thick!

By far our favorite breakfast place in all of Naples! A few highlights... the menu is diverse, but not to overwhelming. The food is consistent, we've never had a poorly cooked plate of food delivered. The service isn't "the best ever" but its good. Fast, friendly enough. We always end up trying a new place or two but end up back here.

  • Lorrie W.

Yelp was spot on yet again. Clean, friendly, efficient. Extra water and coffee on the table and friendly staff. Excellent food and a varied menu. Blueberry pancakes perfect with warm real maple syrup. Crisp bacon. Lox and bagel perfect. Wish we had a place like this in Deerfield Beach.

  • Beth Z.

4stars for fast service and the kind breakfast where you only need one meal for the entire day! Looked like the place could have a long wait, but we sat right away. Attentive service! Big & affordable breakfast menu. We had omelets & coffee. Coffee was fine.

The best breakfast in Naples..should be a national chain....great food..friendly service..extensive menu. .everything we have tried has been tasty

    (5)
  • Jesquire J.

This place is definitely over rated. Food was just ok. Admittedly, presentation was very nice on everything ordered. Some people may rave about their potatoes, but our entire family did not care for them as they were glorified hash browns mixed with copious amounts of sour cream. The eggs were decent and somewhat unique because they were whipped and extra fluffy. By far the best item we tried was the chocolate chip pancakes. They were tasty and somewhat crunchy. I am not sure we will return because it was just meh for us.

    (3)
  • Sean M.

Awesome!!! I am a huge breakfast guy and I couldn't get over how great this place was. The corn beef hash was truly homemade and the best I ever had. And the potatoes - prepared with cream cheese and scallions - we're fantastic. My wife also got the blueberry waffles and loved them too. I can't vouch for the lunch menu but the breakfast was great. I was particularly surprised by it, especially given how bad most of the non-chain food was in Naples. But given the breakfast we got, along with the very reasonable prices, I'll definitely be coming back here.

  • Jay R.

We tried this place based on the other reviews. The food was good - but not spectacular. However, the service was SLOOOOOWWWWW. Our waitress was apologetic but, for a breakfast place, slow service is unacceptable.

This is a fabulous breakfast place. Try the "simply crepes". Friendly staff as well.

  • Max Z.

I was a little worried when I saw it from the outside, there were more "specials" boards in the windows than a Denny's, but as soon as we walked in I knew it would be good. It has a very homey feel to it, with old pictures of the town on the walls. Most importantly, the pancakes were AMAZING. We got the stone ground whole wheat blueberry banana pancakes and they were BOMB. Definitely some of the best whole wheat pancakes we've ever had, and we've had a lot of pancakes :)

    (5)
  • Jarret S.

We don't understand the fuss. First watch is a much better breakfast at a much better value. Our server and staff were very nice. The banana buttermilk pancake and bacon were highlights; however, serving cold banana bread from a refrigerator at $2 for a small slice was not only a poor value but started our meal on the wrong foot. The "Brussels" waffle tasted different than any waffle I have ever had and lacked the sweetness of a more traditional waffle. The serving of strawberries with the waffle was very generous and the whipped cream was good. The strawberry sauce was light and OK but lacked a bit of flavor. Maybe we should have stuck to "Skillets".

Homemade entrees that are more than satisfying to the pallet. Customer service is above excellent. Jill has waited on me and my mom for over a year. Jill is not only an excellent server, but makes us feel as if we're eating at her kitchen table.

Fantastic breakfast place. I recommend splitting a breakfast plate, there is a $2 extra charge but you get an extra biscuit and larger portions! This is going to be my new breakfast spot every time I come to Naples, the food is so good! My personal favorite is the corn beef hash skillet, but you can't go wrong with any of them. The cheese grits are great too!

This place was great! I went for lunch 3x's during my last visit to Naples- it definitely beats the overpriced hotel food. Everything was fresh and delicious and the service was fast and friendly. Love that soups are from scratch and that they offer you 'to go' coffee/tea.

Wonderful little local breakfast and lunch joint. We ordered the breakfast burrito and the pecan crusted cinnamon French toast. Both were delicious and just what we were looking for. Waited 10 minutes on a Sunday morning around 9:30. Friendly greeters and wait staff.

  • Darren K.

Our meal was superb. We had Candice help us two mornings in a row. The bacon was perfect, the eggs were done just right, and the potatoes were amazing. The coffee is hot and fresh and served by the pitcher. Daily fresh scones were a lovely addition to the meal. My wife loved her banana pancakes the first day and biscuits and gravy this morning. I stuck with the two egg breakfast both days, and frankly I'm planning on having the same tomorrow. Way better than the twenty five buck Waldorf option... We will come back as much as we can.

Skillets is a weekly ritual for our family, every Sunday morning. We happened to be blessed in that we live only minutes away so quite frankly even if we for some reason contemplated trying another breakfast spot, it is just far too convenient. Then we think about the bacon and any thoughts of betraying our fave are quickly thwarted. My husband was the one that harassed me when we were first dating for constantly ordering the same things at restaurants, so I find it comical that he orders the same thing every Sunday; the Potato Egger. He is a tough critic trust me. I do the cooking in our home, so I know this first hand. So that being said, obviously it's fantastic since he refuses to stray. (Hope he loves me as much as the eggs.) I, on the other hand, now rarely eat the same thing (must be all of the former harassment). The eggs are usually perfectly prepared, no matter my "Runaway Bride" mood. The skillet potatoes are just plain goodness. The pancakes are always delish which my kids would be glad to attest to. BUT the real star for me is the bacon, oh the bacon. It's super thick and ridiculously tasty with a hint of sweetness. Truthfully, if not for fear of a cardiac event, I would go there just for a big ole plate of bacon. As for the service, it is always very good, with maybe the occasional hiccup. In my opinion, Skillets is the best breakfast in Naples, except for my own of course. But I can't have all of you over at my house, so I suggest going to Skillets.

If I had only one word to describe this place, it would have to be yummmmmmmy. Corned beef hash was the best I've had in 20 years (and I try to find a different place that serves it everywhere I go, and at least once a month, so we're talking a couple of hundred restaurants here). Hash brown casserole was a bit different than I've had before, but still delicious. Scone was cranberry-orange this morning - not my favorite flavor, but it was still amazing. Coffee good and strong AND they leave the carafe at the table. If it weren't a 100 mile drive from home to here, I would probably come back every single weekend. Oh, and I forgot to mention, the service was efficient and friendly.

I love breakfast! This place was wonderful My husband got a bacon skillet, and it was creamy and rich and wonderful. It had everything you would want, and it was a little different from the basic hash-style skillet. It also came with an AMAZING scone! So wonderful. I ordered multigrain pancakes with berries. It had a fresh berry compote and so many fresh berries. The coffee was good, and the OJ in the frosted glass was a 4/5 to me (didn't taste as freshly squeezed as I expected. Still good- comparable to bottled Tropicana. Worth the visit!! If I'm ever in the area, I will come back.

This place was delicious. Plenty of options, the food was fresh and the ambiance was cozy and what I call "country' (then again I'm from Miami). I would highly recommend this place for breakfast when visiting the Naples area. We all know hotel breakfasts can be very expensive and not offer good food for the value (or a lot of food at all!). They are known for their thick sliced bacon. I don't really eat bacon but I tried it and it was delicious---not too salty or greasy! I would love it if Skillets opened in the Southeast coast of Florida as well!

During our recent trip to Naples, we ate here twice in 4 days. This place seemed to be the best option for breakfast in Naples, and it definitely lived up to expectations. Portions here are quite large, so make sure to come hungry. The first time I tried the avocado, bacon and pepper jack cheese frittata, which was good, but I would have preferred for the bacon to be on the side as opposed to in the eggs. It came with salsa which gave it a nice kick too. The second time I opted for a special, which was a skillet with tomatoes, goat cheese and chives. Both were delicious. I really enjoyed the skillet potatoes, which came with both my orders. My frittata came with homemade cinnamon raisin toast, which was a nice touch. Everyone else in the group seemed to enjoy their food too. The pancakes and waffles both looked really good. Don't think you could go wrong with anything. We had a small wait both times, but for a group of 6, it wasn't too bad. They know how to get you in and out. Friendly service too. Plus 1 for delicious diet Pepsi fountain soda :)

We had a list of breakfast places ready to check out in Naples, yet after our first breakfast at Skillets, we were hooked. The breads are all homemade and their pancakes are huge! Really do try one of their scones if they're available; even if it's the raisin scone! I am not too big on raisins but they're just that good. The hashbrowns seem to be a love it or hate it thing. While I loved the creaminess of the hash browns, others in our group were against it. Word of warning to vegetarians: one can ask to have the meat omitted from their dish, but that doesn't mean that you won't taste the meat anyways. Not sure if it's that the meat is just picked out of the vegetarian orders or if it's just that they cook their veg orders on the same surface they cook their regular ones. Stay away from the fruit cup that comes with every order. They always tasted rank!

Great place for breakfast! Friendly service that knows all their repeat customers by name. The food is unreal. You've just gotta come in here to try it.

Toasted Almond pancakes and about 15 other kinds of pancakes!! Mmmmm. Eggs? How many? With or without pancakes, waffles, grits, fruit and dude order the bacon! Thick, thick slices done to perfection. Come here to get your Breakfast on!

My wife and I went to Skillets for breakfast and had a wonderful time. She had gone the day before and did not realize it was on my schedule to visit via the Yelp reviews. The decor is bright and festive and the restaurant has a fresh appearance. The food comes in large portions and I was pleased that they had a chicken sausage option with all of the pork products they had on the menu. The eggs were good and the cheese grits were better. Additionally, I like the option of having the Whole Wheat Pancakes.

Much has been written about this joint and I'll join in the fray only to reiterate how wonderful this place is. We dined here late morning on a Tuesday with less than a dozen patrons inside this large and spacious restaurant that should easily accomodate 100+. I mention this because while few diners were here, we waited for some time before actually being greeted, and then were treated a bit "gruffly" by a waiter who (thankfully) ended up being assigned to another table. Perhaps he was having a tough moment. Not long after, our order was taken by a delightful waitress who made some terrific recommendations and attended to our table beautifully. Throughout the meal, it's worth noting, that the other waiter "turned around" whatever had been bothering him and revealed that he was not only a great server - but a very interesting and caring man. Like I said - maybe a tough moment. But back to the food...simply perfect. We started with coffee and juice...all of which were beautifully prepared and presented (carafes, frosty chilled mugs, etc.)! A fresh out of the oven blueberry scone was shared by all of us...and we marveled at the delicate, flaky and buttery taste. An order of the most unusual Eggs Benedict (served atop potato pancakes) was most delicious - though the eggs weren't as runny as we would prefer - they were perhaps a bit over-cooked. Our daughters chocolate pancake (kid's serving) was more of an adult size (great value), but tasted amazing. A side of rosemary-panini bread (all of their breads are baked fresh daily on premises) was beyond delightful. I also had a bowl of grits with a touch (!?!?!? more like a cup) of cream. It was artery clogging good! Simply to die for (hopefully not literally)! I can't rave enough about the feel, food, fit and finish of this "joint". We'll likely return before the week is out and everything else notwithstanding, I would give Skillets 10+ stars if I could.

We went here after spin class and our bellies were majorly hungry. I ordered the bacon & egg skillet (8.50). I'm used to grits in NC and this wasn't quite what I was expecting but they were good. It tasted like there was smelly cheese in there?! Husband ordered the fruitie (which is a smoothie) and the french toast combo ($10). Like I said, we were super hungry so everything tasted good but we have tasted better for much cheaper. Thick cut bacon was a bonus.

YUM! Best meal we had during our visit. The corned beef hash was FANTASTIC! We had the Irish Benedict (with corned beef hash instead of ham) and it was fabulous. Fresh squeezed orange juice. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the biscuit, hash browns, and bacon were great and our server was super nice and efficient. Also, it was lovely to be able to sit outside. Can't wait to come back.

Probably the best breakfast place I've ever been. The food was fresh and delicious. The service was great. We will definitely be back when we visit naples in April. Fresh squeezed juice was a pleasant surprise. We brought our 18 month old son and they were great with him. My husband ate a skillet that he called "the best he ever had." He also ordered pancakes after seeing my son's order and he loved those too.

Pretty decent crowd for a week day but my experience in Naples taught me that the people here have a lot of time to dine out for pretty much every single meal. I found this place on Yelp. I ordered this avocado and tomato omelet. I'm pretty sure it was some time of Southwest omelet with egg whites. It was great and came with a selection of sides. I chose the potatoes which came out like shredded sheets of amazingness and a side of fruit which was really fresh (but small). We also ordered their version of a frosty with fresh fruit and orange juice. It was quite wonderful as well I must say. The service here was good too and the wait for our food wasn't long despite all of the big groups. They have a few other locations too and the menus for all were quite expansive, definitely a something for everyone kind of establishment. The prices were on par with other breakfast places that I've been to in Chicago and other parts of Florida. This one can be hard to spot though since it's far back in a strip mall so as a tourist, keep your eyes peeled!

Went to Skillets in Naples, Fl with my mom on Mothers Day. The food is really good and you get a lot of your money. I had the Blueberry pancake platter, which was two blueberry pancakes, two eggs and two slices of bacon. The pancake with FULL of blueberries too which I loved. Now on its downfall. We were waiting 15 minutes before someone gave us water or took our order and only because I asked someone who was walking by if we could place an order. Step up your game skillets!

Was on vacation last weekend stopped for lunch. Food ok , looked better , corn beef hash is awesome. Need to try it again to see how the rest of the food was . The skillet was a little small for the cost but corn beef was really good.

This is my idea of a great breakfast restaurant. They have lots of healthy options and great tasting food. When we first arrived, the greeter wasn't particularly friendly, but our server was. The menu is huge! They had items like: whole wheat pancakes, their own cured bacon, and crepes, omlettes,....You just have to see it to believe it. I had the steel cut oatmeal which was cooked perfectly. Alongside, I ordered the Chicago style blintzes. And yes, they were as good as the ones that I had at a deli in Skokie, Illinois. Then I ordered their chicken apple sausage. I didn't care for this because it was pretty greasy and tasted more like greasy sausage. I then started eating my wife's house cured bacon. Wow, that was good. Their bacon is very meaty and not very fatty as well as thick cut. I couldn't believe how lean and non-greasy the bacon was. If you want a good meal for a great price, I would definitely come to this place. I wish I had this place near my home. In fact, maybe I should move closer to Naples to be closer to this restaurant. By the way, this restaurant is tucked back from the main roadway.

My boyfriend and I are regular Naples visitors always looking for a nice place to enjoy a good meal. Decided to take a chance and visited Skillets. Arrived at the restaurant around 1:30pm and even tough it was not busy, the hostess gave us a cold welcoming. Not a good way to start... but still hopefuls. The hostess could definitely work on her customer service skills. The waiter was attentive and sharp. My boyfriend ordered the pecan waffle and the Skillets hash browns (waiter's suggestion), I ordered the breakfast burrito and the famous fresh squeeze orange juice. Food was delicious. The presentation of the food was amazing. Kudos to the Chef! The restaurant was clean and had a homie feeling. Overall experience was great. We would definitely add Skillets to our list of places to go while in Naples.

Cream Cheese in your hashbrowns got me in the door, but it turns out that it is nothing too inventive. The cream cheese belongs on the bagel. Ordered the skillet with three veggies and it is layered and scrambled eggs are placed on top. Lots of cheese too It wasn't bad, but the homemade biscuit and the really super friendly waitress were probably the best parts of this random stop on highway 41. Also in the mix was a very fresh salad of baby greens and blue cheese crumbles which basically was a decent salad. So the point is the cream cheese thing overwhelms the taste of the hash browns and you feel like your eating straight cream cheese and veggies which is not a great thing.

I can honestly say, I have never had a bad meal at this wonderful restaurant! And from others reviews the feeling is mutual. If you It is a casual homey feeling place where it is obvious the food is the main attraction. If you love carbs for breakfast, this place is Mecca... Anything from gingerbread pancakes to croissant french toast to Belgian waffles, they are all delicious. Feeling like more of a protein kinda meal Try the eggs benedicts...Yes there is an "s" at the end because they have more than one! And try one of the omelets while your at it and add anything you like. The place does get a little busy on Sundays with the church rush, but they move people pretty fast. Go, enjoy, you will thank me!

Excellent breakfast spot. The menu was solid and diverse and contains many items not seen at "simple" breakfast restaurants. The food was fresh and tasty and the service was fast and friendly. It has comfortable seats and decor. Definitely in the top 10% of all breakfast locations I've visited.

I don't think I'll be dining anywhere else for breakfast when I'm back in Naples. The potato that came with my meal was out-freakin-standing. It was so delicious. My omelette was huge and it had a fresh salsa type thing on top. The chicken sausage was the best I've ever eaten. I didn't really care for the french toast. It was good but not the best. My guys choice was perfect. Bacon was just the way he wanted it without even asking. Panackes were light, fluffy and tasty. Expect a wait on weekends. The decor was bright and country inspired. Very pleasant dining expierence.

Our visit was the result of Yelp reviews. They were spot on. Awesome. Service, setting, food, and value. Fresh and made from scratch. If breakfast is the most important meal of the day, then Skillets must be the most important breakfast stop in Naples. So good, we are going back tomorrow. And we are not predictable eaters.
