Have not had a cupcake from here since 2011; stopped in today and bought 6. Not as good as I remember; chocolate cupcake was a bit dry. The Salty Caramel was very good. Missed happy hour prices by 3 minutes :(

Friendly folks and great cupcakes. All cupcakes are baked fresh on the premises, and it is readily apparent in the taste. We tried the red velvet, death by chocolate and mint cupcakes, and all were moist, sweet and delicious. The frosting is real butter cream - truly awesome. The only drawback was that they were out of key lime, but that only means that we will be back soon!

OMG!!!! So good! Key Lime Pie cupcake was awesome!!!! Definitely a vacation indulgence spot!!! Great for a visit after a Grouper & Chips lunch or early dinner next door :)

These cupcakes are large and therefore very dry. I tried this cupcake shop with a friend and we each bought a dozen. This resulted in us trying every flavor they had that day. Neither of us were impressed and all the cupcakes tasted like they were missing something. I also no longer support this shop because of their badmouthing of other businesses on Facebook. It's not classy nor an appropriate way to do business if you think you can gain customers this way. I firmly believe that a business should not have to convince customers that their cupcakes are good or try to lure them in through badmouthing. If your cupcakes are good, customers will follow. Unfortunately, their cupcakes are the driest, most flavorless cupcakes I've ever tasted.

So we're driving down the street, looking for a place to eat after doing some sightseeing around town when out of nowhere, my friend yells "BAKERY!! Simply Cupcakes!" Oh man. Best u-turn ever. We're from Miami, and we've had our fair share of cupcakes from all the places that have popped up (Misha's, L.A. Sweets, Sweetness, Cupcakes Nouveau). This place is BY FAR the most delicious one we've been to. It's a shame it couldn't be closer to home, but we've definitely decided to come back during the summer for some more! Maybe we'll eat them at the pier... I had the Red Velvet and Black Tuxedo (chocolate with chocolate ganache and buttercream icing). Both were spectacular! Definitely the best red velvet I've ever had. My friend also got the Naples Key Lime, Simply Delicious (yellow cake with buttercream), Piña Colada and Butterfinger. From those, I tried the last one. My goodness, it was so Butterfinger-y that it was actually better than the real thing. Drooling a bit right now as I reminisce. All the cupcakes were beautifully decorated. I was very impressed by the lime zest on the key lime one. It was EXTREMELY fresh since we actually got there right when they opened and the key lime ones were still warm. They put one in the fridge for a couple of minutes so they could frost it while we waited a few minutes. How sweet is that?! Friendliest staff ever! Super long review, my apologies... but I was truly happy with Simply Cupcakes. Can't wait to go back the next time I visit Naples!

We went in and tried a couple of their overpriced cupcakes. They were all right, but really $3.25 per cupcake? They were small and not much frosting. While they were tasty they were not worth the time or $.

I had cupcakes made for a baby shower and they looked adorable and tasted amazing! They were so considerate to make my cupcakes on a short notice. Will definitely go back for any special occasion in the future.

After adding them on facebook and seeing all the praise, I finally decided to see really how good these cupcakes are. I'm not too fond of deserts, but these were AMAZING. I've been back a few times and I've tried the funky monkey, key lime, and a few others. They're not too sweet, unlike the cupcakes you get from Publix, which was a plus for me. The cost is $2.95 a cupcake, which is a little price but worth it. It's just a bakery, so there's no place to sit. Also, the service is very friendly. They're more than willing to help you and always have a smiling face. GO HERE!

Best cupcake shop in Naples, when I have a hankering for cupcakes, this is the only choice. traditional Italian buttercream, no super sweet shortening icings here! I'm not crazy about the cannoli, but it's popular for them. My youngest loves the chunky monkey, and the carrot cake is very good. My favorites? key lime and mint.

Stopped in today to try a cupcake as a snack. The guy working behind the counter (seemed like an owner) was extremely nice, and also apologetic that the cupcake selection was more limited than normal as they'd had some very large orders earlier in the day. We were only there for one cupcake though, so what they had was still plenty and we had a hard time deciding between the chocolate mint and the carrot. We ended up going for the chocolate mint, which was quite tasty! I thought the cake portion was moist and the frosting was good (though more buttery than I prefer - similar to Magnolia in NYC, which many people love). Service was fantastic and friendly, with two cups of ice water brought out to our table. Hopefully we'll be back this week to try another flavor!

I ordered a half dozen cupcakes for my family and all of them were DELICIOUS! We tried their signature cupcake (Naples Key Lime), Cookies and Cream, Southern Red Velvet, Caramel Pecan, and the Black Tie. The shop is cute and quaint and the prices are very reasonable. The gentleman in the shoppe was great...patient while we made our selections, talkative, and gave great customer service. Wonderful experience - definitely try Simply Cupcakes!!!

After another cupcake place in town almost screwed up my wedding last year, I gave them another chance. Never again. Their staff was still clueless, the cupcakes were still dry and tasteless. I said no more and set out to find new cupcakes. Wish I had come here first. Moist, intense flavor, creamy frosting. They are to DIE FOR!!!! Save yourself grief, come here first!!!

Great cupcakes. High end though. a couple bucks per cup cake and a dozen will run like 20 bucks I think. Now they are worth it because they have all kinds of great flavors like banana creme, key lime, chocolate, oreo, and any other thing you can think up. Really yummy. Not really a place to sit but nice cupcakes.

I work at a place that makes amazing Red Velvet cake, so I am constantly on a search for other bakeries that serve it. I have to say that so far, Simply Cupcakes of Naples is the best I've found! I'm from RI and I travel a lot, so I've tried a lot of different cupcakes. But the cake there was extremely moist and fluffy, and the cream cheese frosting had the perfect balance of sweet and tang. I actually split a bunch amongst the party I was with, so we also tried the Key Lime (amazing!), Chocolate Espresso, and S'Mores. Everything was very good and the owner, Joanne, is lovely. I would suggest this place to anyone in the area!
