The reservation system and great seats are wonderful. This will be a nice addition to the Naples scene when they get their act together. For starters, a selection of films that includes some outside the Hollywood 20 mainstream would add quality to the viewing experience. Otherwise why pay the premium? We had a negative experience with a dinner and movie gift certificate we bought as a gift to others. They were told they could only book seats after they arrived for dinner, which means they could find the film sold out or get lousy seats. Our friends persevered in conversations with customer-unfriendly personnel and finally were told to buy their movie tickets directly and then renegotiate them to get the right price when they arrived to dinner. On arrival for dinner the hostess greeted them with a scowl and told them they were late, which seems in keeping with the poor customer relations attitude we have experienced. After convincing the wait staff that they would pay extra for dishes that were not part of the special they had a nice meal. Their experience was the same as ours in the dining room. The smell of popcorn was strong and did not exactly go with steak. I worked my way thru their laborious phone system and left a message asking the manager to phone me, telling him I had a complaint. Alas, my complaint is never to be heard as no one has called back. In sum, a good movie, nice food, awful personnel attitudes.

Best movie theater I've ever been to! Love the seating in comfy leather chairs and the ability to catch a flick with a drink. Little pricey but worth it for the atmosphere.

Nice afternoon showing today. A bit hard to find. Seats are leather and huge! Some decent food. $10 matinee and $15 regular rates. Reserved seating available online Not crowded at all. Try it out!

This movie theater was amazing! You can buy appetizers and wine to take in with you. You get to pick your seats, and they are plush large leather chairs that are really comfortable. Worth the extra money!

went to see a movie and left phone on the seat, called manager the same day , no phone was found, called again later- no luck, few days later police arrested one of the silverspot employees with my phone- thanks to mobileMe- went back to talk to GM- told me Well I dont know anything about it- sorry- good luck, thats it, Bottom line- keep your stuff close to your self , management doesnt care and some employees are not honest at all...

Big leather seats so you have plenty of room to move. Last time I went they had a deal for a giant bucket of popcorn and a bottle of wine for $18. That's a great price for any theatre let alone Mercato which is typically a little expensive. I would recommend getting tickets online where you can pick your seats and make sure it doesn't sell out. It is also very convenient that there are so many places right there to get dinner or drinks before or after your movie. Parking in the garage is very convenient. Big clean restrooms.

We went to see Ex-Machina at the last viewing of the evening. While my boyfriend grabbed the tickets I went to get the food. The lady working the food section told me they were closed for food..... and it was only 9:30pm... I wanted to get some popcorn to watch the movie. Maybe this is normal and that concession stands close at 9:30 but back home the concession stands stay open at least 30 minutes into the last viewing of the movie they have for the evening. What terrible service. The theatre was awesome though. So comfy, and large! Movie ticket prices were about the same as IMAX back home so nothing too unexpected for price.

Ok, I have found the best theater! When we walked into this beautiful place, we were immediately welcomed by Stuart. I think he may be the manager? He was very friendly and helpful. Since this place is so big, we were kind of lost at first. He directed us where we needed to go. My tip is to get reservations ahead of time, as this place gets quite busy. we bought tickets online earlier in the day, so we were good to go. The only thing was, we bought only the theater tickets- which were about $16 each. We thought we purchased the meal deal. When we got there, Stuart helped us to purchase the dinner package- (which is worth it). The dinner package includes a movie pass, popcorn, a drink- which can be wine, beer or a soft drink or water, and dinner for $39 each. The area where you could purchase a la carte menu items was beautiful. There were display cases with all kinds of yummy sweets in them- how I managed to pass them up, I don't know because they were speaking my language! Cupcakes and other sweet treats- oh my!!!! I think there are 12 movie theaters in here. We saw the movie Selma, which was very good! I cried a few times. It's very touching. The theater seats are WONDERFUL !!! They are huge, and leather and so so so soft! The headrest cradled my head in cushiony softness. Pure luxury in a theater. I was in love. After the movie, Pepe the server had a table reserved for us since we didn't have time before the movie. It was busy at this time since it was 7:30 on a Friday, but we were able to get to our table right away and received our dinner about 10 minutes later. They served us small dinner salads which were nice. Then the hubs had Mahi Mahi which he said was very good and it came with a rice dish which he loved. I ordered a hamburger and fries. I figured you can't really mess that up. Well, if you read my reviews you will see the last two places actually did when I ordered them well done and they came to me pink. This burger here- pure awesomeness! For being well done, it was juicy and cooked just right. It had crunchy onions, cheese, mushrooms and lettuce on it. So good. I could only eat half. We were very pleasantly surprised how good the food was. Pepe and Stuart checked on us a couple of times to make sure we had everything we needed. They were very attentive and we were impressed. What a fun place to go for a date night! We will be back, and will tell all of our friends :) Thank you!

This movie theater is fantastic! Wide leather chairs, wide isles for passing, clean bathrooms, and great food/ drinks! For a couple bucks more than the Regal, you're able to choose your movie and your seats in advance! The theaters are rarely full either, even on opening night, which is great because in addition to the big armrests, you can still have a divider seat between yourself and other patrons, which in my opinion, is the best part about this theatre! In terms of the restaurant at the Silverspot, the menu is a little uninspired for a foodie, however, the quality in the preparation of the meals is fantastic! I have only eaten here one time, but the prices are very reasonable and they bring out you food on pace to get you to your movie on time. So while there are many great restaurants in Mercado, if the timing ever may be an issue, this is your spot! Cocktails are well made and you can bring them into the theater as well. They sell all the usual suspects in terms of movie theater concessions, and the prices are on par with any other theaters out there in terms of value($$$). However, they also have some local delicacies such as Grace and Shelly cupcakes and Norman Love Chocolates!

We saw Jurassic World 3D at Silverspot Cinema and were disappointed with the theater experience. The seats were terribly uncomfortable: they don't recline and the head cushion pushes your head too far forward. By the time the movie was over I had a severe tension headache and a very stiff neck. Another problem is that their 3D glasses are not compatible with those wearing eyeglasses. Because the inner part of the lens was reflective, it bounced the image off my eye glasses and back onto the 3D glasses, creating double image reflection that was impossible to ignore. The only way to remedy it was to hold the 3D glasses 5-6 inches from my face, which I did through much of the movie. We have been to much better high-end theaters where the seats are grouped in pairs and detached from other seats, and they recline. I gave it one star for the location of the theater and one star for the sound system. Comfort and visual experience? Zero stars.

Truly, this was the most amazing theater I've ever been to. The employee at the ticket area, which is a podium, not one if those teller behind bulletproof glass numbers, said the movies get sold out days in advance due to their online calendar & reservation system. I didn't get why, and I was shocked to hear I had assigned seats inside. But once on the doors, it made sense. Holy luxury! The plush leather seats were nicer than I've seen in most homes. Soft, roomy, comfortable. The only improvement would be that I wish they reclined a bit. Reserve your actual seat online, by phone, or in person but as I said , if it's a popular show, book in advance. In addition to standard movie fare, there's a full bar including buckets of beer, mini meals, cupcakes, and more. It's really an amazing home theater experience with a bunch of strangers. It is high class movie going. Awesome place - wish my NYC theaters were as classy!

This theater has gone downhill for the past couple of years. Seats are getting shabby and feel very close together. They also lack the reclining feature of the newer cinemas. The sound system was cracking with static at the last movie we saw there. They definitely need to update systems and seating if they want to compete.

The food in the restaurant used to be great and a great deal with the meal and movie deal. Tonight it was terrible. Steak ordered medium was tough and well done. Packet mashed potato is not what I expect at this level. Would not recommend to any of my clients coming in to town

While on a weekend getaway with my husband we went on a dinner & movie date night and read some reviews about how nice this theater was so we decided to check it out and we were so glad that we did! Amazing theater. Truly was the cleanest, most high end theater I have ever been to. They had a restaurant inside and a bar lounge area across the theatre which we didn't try but found interesting. At the counter they were selling everything between regular movie to cupcakes along with a bar area. I definitely would have taken advantage of the bar if it wasn't for being pregnant. The picture & sound quality were excellent. The seats aren't your regular movie theater seats. They are connected leather seats with arm chairs and connected cup holders. For being a Saturday night there was barely anyone in the theater so it was very quite & relaxing without any disruptions. Definitely recommend to check out this theater if ever in the area.

Great theater, horrible service at the restaurant. We've done "dinner and a movie" at Silverspot several times and have thoroughly enjoyed it. This last time will probably be the last time for the near future after the incredibly horrible and rude service we received. When we were seated we asked if the 50 minutes we had were enough time for dinner and were told yes. Normally, maybe, but not when there seemed to be only ONE server and he didn't seem to know what he was doing. We waited 20 minutes for him to even acknowledge our presence, and when I told him that we had been waiting and did we have enough time for dinner before our movie, he said, "do you want to order or not?' and walked away! For the money that they ask for, I better get something better than that. We left, went to the Wine Loft next door and had enough time to eat something, have a glass of wine and still make our movie. Sadly, we will no longer be regulars. I sure hope they don't treat our seasonal or vacation guests like this. it would totally give Naples a bad rep.

The best damn theater ever. First time at this theater and i have been to every dine in theater there is. This place is modern even the bathroom, great cocktails with top shelf liquor. will be back for sure!! Ticket was $13 and cocktail was $9.

This theater oversold alcohol to rowdy people in pajamas on Christmas Day, then refused to take responsibility when the drunks ruined our movie by talking loudly, kicking beer bottles and shouting at the screen and each other. Management made every excuse to blame us for inaction and justified why they did not to lift a finger or show any concern for our terrible experience.

We have gone to other upgraded cinemas like Silverspot (Galaxy in Las Vegas). This theatre has much better food and liquor options, more movie venues inside the cineplex and was more electronically connected (ie electronically get your own tickets out front of theatre if not on-line in advance) than what we have been to before. On the downside, although wide comfy sofa like seats, they do not recline and that was something we were actually use to from other upgraded cinemas. A great cinema though and we would be back.

I have been going to Silver spot Theater since it's opening and always loved it. Top grade movies went to see The Other Woman and man it was the best experience I had Holy luxury! The plush leather seats were nicer than I've seen in most homes. Soft, roomy, comfortable. The only improvement would be that I wish they reclined a bit. It had stadium seating so you don't have to worry if someone very very tall is sitting in front of you BUT make sure that you make Reserve your actual seat online, by phone, or in person but if it's a popular show, be sure to book in advance. You can choose your seating =) Great theater!! Yeah, it's a little pricier, but well worth it. The nicer the place, the nicer the clientele. And in addition to standard movie fare, there's a full bar including buckets of beer, mini meals, cupcakes, and more. there is also a game room too.

It was my first time at this movie theater. They had a decent selection of food and the large leather seats are worth the extra few dollars. This will be the only theater I go to now !

Love this! It was my first experience at a "brew cinema"! Loved how you got to pick your own seats and they were comfy with plenty of room! Added bonus you can bring in buckets of beer or even a bottle of wine! (Only down side was a couple of obnoxious people in the lobby which were acting a little young for there age- and should have been able to handle their wine) #IRememberMyFirstBeer Haa!

Hands down the BEST movie theater I've ever been to. Reserve your exact seats ahead of time, arrive and order dinner and drinks then eat it in the huge leather arm chairs while you enjoy your movie.

Sure, it's expensive. But you get what you pay for. Spacious leather seats, clean, posh. It is worth it for a splurge night. AND you can order an alcoholic beverage and bring it with you into the theatre!

I have been going to Silverspot Theater since it's opening and always loved it. I went about a week ago for my birthday with another couple and we all did the Dinner and a Movie special for $36. Was absolutely amazing. I was weary since Mercado has so many restaurants (so why eat at the movie theater), but all 4 of us, who really appreciate food, loved everything. We received a voucher for a free bottle of wine for out next visit. My last visit being so great, my sister and I returned for the same deal, wanting to eat after the movie and bring in the free bottle of wine to enjoy while we watched. Host upfront said it would be no problem, concession stand guy said the same and we headed to the bar to pick it up. For some reason the bartender (which is also my profession) took it upon himself to deny us our bottle and blabbed on about how that is not allowed. When we asked for a manager, he totally fake looked for one (we could tell) and sent us away. Back to host stand who graciously found a manager who told us it was NO PROBLEM. Back to Mussolini at the bar, she let him know and he still copped a tude with us. I even said to him when we were walking away that I was sorry for the miscommunication and he assured me it was not and was just rude again. Hope he was having a bad day and not always such a super douche. Had PEPE the first visit who was amazing and Orison the second that was also great! Because of them we will return. Czech dude behind the bar could use a serious attitude adjustment. Unfortunately our steak on the 2nd visit was all fat Still 4 stars because it really is a great place.

Expensive? Yes. Worth it? Yes. I've been to this theatre several times and love it. I order my tickets online (you pick out your seats during the purchase) and grab my tickets once I get there. The seats are great (think large, cushy, padded little slice of heaven) and there is plenty of room to move in and out of the rows for bathroom runs. The sound quality in the theatre is fantastic. There is a small dining area outside if you want to grab a drink and hang out some before the movie. There is also an indoor dining area. The only food purchases I've made are the standard sandwich and fries, but it was good. The prices on popcorn and soda are outrageous, but I believe this is standard for most theaters as that's where a lot of their profit comes from. Staff are always polite and professional. The one thing that really annoys me about this theatre is the layout of the lobby. If you happen to go at a busy time, be prepared to come to a halt waiting people to move. With that exception, the overall experiences I've had are very good.

This is my favorite movie place in Naples. The seats are very comfy! Go during the week if you can to avoid the crowds. Order your tickets online from home and pick out your seats.

Excellent cinema that will please the fussiest customers. The prices are pretty high, but worth it when you consider the nice seats and quality of the screens.

The seats are incredibly comfortable and they have a great bar in the lobby. It's a little more expensive but worth it.

Awesome and worth the upcharge. Pick your seat. Print ahead. Now need to show up early! Seats are extra large and comfortable. Very spacious.

  • Kassy M.

Whoa! This movie theater definitely takes the cake for having the nicest seats ever. They are very wide and made of leather! Only twelve seats per row, and the maximum occupancy in each theater is under 100, so it's a nice place to come with your date. The bathrooms are nice...I love the frosted white doors! Feels like you're in an apple store a little bit. Also, tickets are $15 but if you buy them online it's $15.50. It's definitely recommended though because you get to pick your seats, and you definitely don't want to be sitting in the first 3 rows. Reasons why I knocked off a star: 1. The film we saw (Tower Heist) was a little shaky for the first few minutes. Luckily it didn't stay that way. 2. The quality of the seats were there, but not the movie screen. I think a bigger screen would suit the atmosphere. 3. The latest showing for our movie was at 725pm! They need to have later show times.

    (4)
  • Arlene H.

I've had nothing but a good experience here for the many times I've visited (minus the time someone had pulled the fire alarm.) My husband and I had dinner and a movie for a very reasonable price. I had grilled salmon with potatoes and vegetables. My husband had the chicken fettuccine. A house salad and a beer or wine came with our meals, along with popcorn for the movie. The wait staff works with the timeframe of when you sit down to when the movie starts, which I think adds extra points for personalization. The service is great and accommodating. The atmosphere adds an element of uniqueness, due to the fact the design is contemporary, you can order items off the beaten path like Norman Love chocolates and Gracie & Shelley's cupcakes. There is also a full service bar. The movie theater has the most comfortable leather seats which are pre-assigned. It's nice to come into the theater a little after the scheduled time in order to skip the previews. The sound quality of the movie is supreme. There's nothing like paying money for watching a digital movie instead of rear-projection with scratches in the actual screen. (This happened at a competitor.) It's worth paying extra for the full movie experience. It's really hard to go back to conventional theaters!

Great theater!! Yeah, it's a little pricier, but well worth it. The nicer the place, the nicer the clientele. Saw X Men in 3D, the noon Friday (opening day) show and there were only 15 people in the theater. Good times my friends

I loved this place!! The ambiance was great and the food was very good. My wife and I along with my son got to the movie 45 minutes early, which happened to be the right amount of time to order and eat. The food took a long time to get there and it was not very crowded. The seats were very comfortable, too comfortable for my wife and the guy next to me who both fell asleep and we're snoring. Lol.

This is a cinema that has set the bar for other cinemas to follow. Nice comfortable seats, outside ticket kiosks, so you aren't waiting inline at a ticket booth. Great Luxury lounge to hange out in, and great decor inside the theater. The staff was very curteous, and willing to assist you with a smile and great attitude.

  • Ross M.

Oooooooo la la LUXURY!!! This place is so beautiful, comfortable, and luxurious. First, it is important to note that you must reserve seats online. Sometimes it's hard to get great seat assignments and you have to pick a different show time or pick the second row. We got tickets at 5pm to see Lincoln at 9pm on Thanksgiving. We had to go with the second row. But while the assignments were a little lacking, the seats are huge and comfortable and I promise even in the second row you will not get a stiff neck. My only suggestion would be put cup holders between every seat instead of doing double and skipping an arm rest. The reason is that my fiancée and I could not share our drink as well. But the complaint is minuscule because the experience was wonderful. The service is wonderful. We had door held open for us. The food selections is wonderful. Popcorn and other things you would expect. But also burgers, beers, etc. You can really get a good meal here. The food is a little better than the AMC Fork and Screen Experience in Downtown Disney, but there is no tables and no waiters/waitresses. If they did that here, then holy cowzers this place would need to get 6 stars!!! Really wonderful movie going experience. You won't go wrong, not even the slightest bit, when deciding to see a movie at Silverspot.

This has always been my favorite theater in Naples. I send everyone there. However tonight I had a very bad experience. After a stressful couple of weeks at work, I decided I would fit in a movie. So I went there, bought my favorite wine (KC) and settled in for "My Old Lady." I sat there for 25 minutes waiting for the movie to start. Someone came out and said they were having technical difficulties but it would start any minute. It never did. They finally came out and said they would give us our money back. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? That is all they are going to offer after our ruined evening. It's too late to see another movie. I'm embarrassed for them. Surely from a customer service (loyalty) standpoint, they could have offered something more than our money back. What about compensation for a ruined evening? Maybe two free tickets? A free glass of wine, popcorn, ANYTHING. Make us feel like you care about your customers! It cost you nothing to offer us our money back AND a free movie. Really! This was an opportunity to show Naples that you are a class act. But you failed. Shame on you, management. Most of us go to Silverspot because we believe you are a cut above. That is why we pay lots more money. You had an opportunity to show that you deserve the extra money we pay week after week. But I say again. You missed a great opportunity.

This place is amazing all around. The seats are super comfortable. The rows are highly angled so your not looking at the back of someones head. I think 3 rows down from the top is ideal. Stay away from the bottom 2 rows those would suck.

My family's first visit to Silverspot was this week while on vacation. We have frequented nearby Hollywood for our cinema fix. Though Silverspot is nearly 50% more expensive, it was worth it. The comfortable seating is the obvious feature, but I was particularly pleased with the screen quality - bright and vivid. Treat yourself and go upscale, then spill out into the surrounding mall area with many other options.

Has Silverspot Gone to the Dogs??? Over the holidays we saw three movies at this venue. Yes, the seats are plush, roomy and comfortable. I was almost afraid I would fall asleep as I nestled into the seat. I love the fact that you can actually reserve seat numbers in advance -- what a concept! We dined at AZN downstairs from the theater and had a fantastic meal. The screen and sound was most impressive. The only issue I had was a touchy one, which I realize may simply not have a resolution. I noted that a woman brought her dog in. I can certainly appreciate that for those with true disabilities, a service animal is a necessity. In fact, where I work, we define this as an animal that must be in your presence 24/7 as it is there to protect and serve you in some fashion for a true physical disability, which often times is not visible to others. I also respect that the training of service animals is very expensive, which is why I do not believe that "companion" animals should command the same level of respect. Too many individuals abuse the system, find a professional to write up a script for a companion pet, as merely a tactic to be able to take their pet wherever they feel like going, without regard for others. That said, I do feel companion dogs serve veterans of war very well for PTSD. The dog that accompanied this woman did not appear to be a typical service dog. It was a small white maltese-ish dog, certainly not one I am familiar with as a breed trained for disability service. I don't think the practice of allowing people to bring companion animals into a theater (or on planes for that matter) is fair to those with allergies and asthma as they have no prior knowledge they will encounter these situations. I do believe authorized service dogs absolutely need to accompany their owners. Thus, I certainly don't feel it is necessary for a companion dog to be in a movie theater. You want to watch a movie with your companion dog, stay home and rent one. I understand that there is some remote possibility that this animal was, perhaps, a service dog and, if this is truly the case, I'll eat crow (with lemon, garlic and butter, please). However, if this was a service dog, perhaps this individual should be seated at the top of the theater where there are seats reserved for those with disabilities. I do believe there should be a ban on companion pets in theaters. Another minor gripe I had was that we arrived about 20 minutes before show time and were made to stand around, I assume to encourage us to buy food/drinks, which we did not. We could not be seated until 10 minutes prior to the movie. Seems like a tactic and less of a convenience for those who like to settle in for a few minutes before focusing on a film. I, too, agree that the price for these seats does seem a tad excessive. To be clear, I fully support service dogs. I do not endorse abuse of a companion dog as a means to take your pet wherever you darn well please.

Expensive but sometimes and I mean sometimes worth it. I thought some of the folks there were condescending but who cares really. Most people were great. Very posh and very fun. Update: I did fail to mention that this theater has the BEST sound system of any theater I've ever been to in my entire life. It really does make a huge difference in the enjoyment of a film and elevates movies to the art form they are meant to be. One annoying thing is their reward program automation doesn't ever seem to work correctly, and likely this is a fault of their website which fails in tending to this feature. I'm on my 3rd attempt to get everything correct.

Probably the coolest movie theater I've ever visited. I went with my son over the holidays, and it was a great experience from the ease of buying tickets to the comfort of the seats. Tips: 1. Book your ticket online. You can select your seats and view the theater seating chart. 2. Do not show up an hour early. They don't even let you in until about 10 minutes till showtime. Since you have a reserved seat, no more worrying about waiting in line or wondering where you are going to sit.

New to Naples and really enjoy going to movies here. The theater is up to date with technology and has very comfortable seats (wish they reclined). The lobby area and food selections are A+ with dining options for lunch & dinner that are very good. My daughter likes to get the truffles. It is located in the Mercado Shopping center which is also a true pleasure. The staff goes above and beyond here at every touch point, all in all a wonderful experience.

Without a doubt, the best theater I have been to. Big, plush, comfortable chairs - alcohol at the concession stand - choose your own seat - it's a real upgrade from normal theaters. A little too high on the volume , but moving to the last row helped a little.

Awesome theater! If you are looking for something to do inside in Naples,FL this is a great place to kill some time! Grab an Adult beverage and snack of your choice (pizza, sandwich, popcorn, candy, or even gourmet choc truffles!) and kick back and relax in oversized leather chairs for the show! Awesome!

Flustered, we had to ask the valet guys at AZN where the hell the theatre is. You'd think there would be more NEON LIGHTS or something to direct customers in! Upstairs The lobby boasts a very sterile looking bar and restaurant. I wasn't overly impressed with the atmosphere and we chose to stand around and wait until they allowed us in. What can I say? It's totally worth the extra few dollars to be able to pay and reserve our seats online. No stress about finding a decent seat or being forced to sit next to annoying, rude patrons texting, farting or talking during the movie. The chairs are very comfortable and can give a 6'3'' 200 pound dude some unexpected comfort. Now that we know where to find it, we will be back again.

This place is dope! Seriously. They can charge me whatever they want because I have never been so comfortable in my life at a movie theater.

I have been spoiled and never want to watch a movie anywhere else. Too bad I live across the country!! You can order your tickets online and pick your seats, so you're guaranteed to sit exactly where you want and with your friends/family. You don't need to print tickets at home or anything -- just bring the credit card you used and swipe it on their machines for validation and printing. So easy. And because you reserve specific seats, you can just hang out in one of Mercato's fun bars, restaurants, or shops until 10-15 minutes before the movie begins. Stroll in at your leisure. The seats are so cushiony and comfortable! We ordered tickets for The Dark Knight Rises a little late, so we had to sit in the 3rd row from the front. I was really worried that we'd be right up on the screen, but the distance was just fine. :) Two thumbs up!

Silverspot Cinema is an EXCELLENT theater. It's the perfect location for a night out with my wife yet also a friendly environment to take my son, usually during the day. We see movies here often. It's modern, clean, and comfortable. The ticket price is higher, yes but you absolutely get what you pay for. The concession area has a really nice assortment of food, some of the items being things you would only see in a high end theater like Silverspot. I.e. Norman Love Chocolate, Bistro sandwiches, cocktails, etc. I really have nothing negative to say about the theater. Reserving your seats ahead of time via their online booking is a good idea. Just be prepared because once you see a movie at Silverspot you will never want to step back into a regular theater.

After being here, no other movie theater can compare! I refuse to go to any theater besides Silverspot now. It's nifty because you can buy your tickets online in advance, or right there at the computer in front of the theater. It's nice to pick out your seats, so you can see how packed it will be and whether or not you want to sit next to people, etc. The seats are soooo comfy and everything is pretty clean. I haven't had any of the food; there's a restaurant in the lobby, but I can't see it being good. I wouldn't want to be eating dinner while smelling popcorn at the same time. For afternoon showings, it's about the same if not a little more expensive than a regular movie theater. For evening times, it's $15, so I suggest coming during the day. But beware, once you come here you won't want to go anywhere else!

Great place to see a flick. 3D glasses are top quality, and this theater just breathes nostalgia. Best part is that you usurp the typical ticket window by nabbing your tix online with reservations. Really? You can actually pick where you want to sit? Un-friggin-real. Not only that, the seats are huge and lush, so even if people are sitting around you, no fighting for that arm rest! The ticket kiosks are upstairs right by the doors, touch screens to claim your tickets to filmgoing paradise. Just bring your plastic. Plus, you've got the pub and a few other joints close by for a libation or two prior to any screening. This place is well worth the extra scratch.

Love it, love it, love it here!! Once upon a time, I said "yeah, let's see Avatar in that theatre, let's splurge for the ticket...." Once I sat down (in my assigned seat that I can pick....) I said to the misses, "We're never slummin it again!" Love this spot! the Silverspot! Sure, the popcorn is still stale and cruddy like the other place, but man O MAN, what a great place to kick back & have a great time. Horror type movies, you might need to go to the mall-kid drop-off alternative of Hollywood 20 (had to slum to see 'Predators' & 'Cabin in the Woods'...) but for the fun stuff, great place... haven't eaten off the menu, but vouch for the experience! Plus, in the summer, they play Alfred Hithcock films ( I KNOW! freakin awesome!!) & from what I hear, they're gettin the Mutha-F'N-GODFATHER!!! (I KNOW!!! WE"RE ALL PUMPED!!) THE MUTHA F*CKIN GODFATHER at the MUTHA F*CKIN SILVERSPOT?? that's pretty awesome....

This is an outstanding venue. They have the best seats I've ever seen in a movie house. The sound quality is outstanding. If you go in the afternoon the prices are very reasonable. You can then have an early dinner at one of the many great places to eat at Strada Place.

So the last time I went to Florida for vacation, it rained the whole time. Like poured. So what else was there to do but go to see a movie? We got recommendations to go to Silverspot from a waiter at a local fish shack, who told us we could always get a bottle of wine and see the latest Iron Man. Admittedly, we got beer, but that's exactly how we spent a particularly foul afternoon (outdoors): in the most spacious, luxurious movie theater I've ever attended, drinking almost reasonably priced beers. We didn't eat, so I can't vouch for that, but the guys who served us the beers were super, super friendly and considerate, and the whole thing was a genuinely delightful experience. When your movie theater seat is more comfortable than your at-home couch, and you have a whole, spacious armrest to yourself and can actually fully curl up in the seat, it's not a typical movie theater. The sound and picture were also really good, much better than what I get at most places in the Boston area. Pretty good stuff, suburban Florida. Seriously.

You have to love a movie theater with a bar. I like several this Movie Theater for several reasons. 1. Full service Bar! 2. Giant Leather Seats. 3. You get to choose your seats when purchasing your tickets. 4. Good picture and sound. 5. Only slightly more expensive than the average theater.

Awesome movie theatre, I love to reserve my seats. The food is actually awesome. I just had the chicken quesadillas and fries. Wowie they were really really tasty!

We love going to the Silverspot Cinema we have been going there since they opened a little more expensive than the other local theaters but well worth it.

The best movie experience I've had, bar none. Leather recliners are comfortable and the ability to have an adult beverage or two puts it over the top. Truthfully, I have not watched a movie anywhere else but Silverspot since it opened!

Good for you Silverspot! There's now a line of palms out under the overhang near the ticket kiosks, with tables and chairs set up to enjoy an al fresco dinner or drink, overlooking the action below.

I have been going to Silverspot since they opened. It's pricey but the comfort and acoustics are so worth it! Like all other theaters the concessions are too expensive. You have to go all least once and I bet you are hooked.

Simply the best movie theater ever! My favorite features: - buy ticket online in advance with reserved seats!!! - Small popcorn is actually small, thank you! - big comfy seats with cup holders and room for snacks. - nice LOUD sound, love it! - big high quality screens. Not so favorite: - restaurant is subpar Suggested enhancement: - Food in seat: order food on the way in and they deliver it to your seat with appropriate materials for easy consuming :)

Yes, it's more expensive, yes, it's TOTALLY worth it. At least I for one think it's worth it to pay a few extra dollars not to be subjected to all the teenyboppers talking, tweeting, Facebooking and texting during the movies at the Hollywood 20. The location and price attracts a more adult crowd, which is nice for when you're trying to just sit there and enjoy the movie. The seats are very comfortable, and as an added bonus if you buy your tickets online in advance, you actually get to reserve your seats. The interior of this place is really different as well -- a nice change. The sound and picture quality -- no complaints, seems to be as good or better than other theaters I've been to. I can't speak for the restaurant as I have not yet eaten there.

I can never go to a "normal" movie theater again! The big leather seats, bar, option to reserve seats online days in advance... Silverspot has spoiled me, and I love it!!!

This theater revolutionizes the movie-going experience. In today's age of high ticket prices, it's nice that you can buy tickets in advance and know where you're going to sit and not have to worry about perpetually being asked to "move down one seat" for late arrivers. The seats are extremely comfortable and the projection/sound couldn't have been better. Well worth the extra couple of dollars.

This is great. Yes, it costs a couple dollars more, but the seats are totally worth it. Highly recommended!

Reserve your seat in Row E, thank me later. $10 matinees, $15 otherwise. Picking your exact seat, super comfy chairs, really clean theaters, decent abridged menu available to eat in the theater (along with the ushe popcorns and candies), and pretty good wine and beer selection. I've never eaten in the restaurant, and last time I visited I noticed they'd changed the menu (i miss you, chicken lollipops), but what we had while watching the film was good enough, considering you can't see what you're eating. Beef sliders were par, a little skimpy on the french fries. Heard good things about the veg pizza, mediocre fish sliders, and you can't really mess up a Caesar salad. The guy who was working the bar this time was a little weird. I guess they invested in an ID scanner to check IDs since there are a lot of undercover operations run in the area these days? Well, he openly admitted he never checks the pictures, he only scans and reads off what the machine tells him because "fake IDs don't scan" ... um, which is why I think most people underage these days use someone else's real ID and hope you don't stare at the picture too long? ... anyway, it made me laugh that he was selling the machine as some foolproof plan to never serve anyone underage. They tend to run the movies really close together so getting there early is pointless, my last two trips they were done cleaning only minutes before the movie was supposed to start. They were one of the only places in the area that ran independent films about two years ago, don't know if they still show that many, and I know they also host the naples film festival.

Best cinema in Naples. Large leather stadium seats, small 75-110 seat theatres, great appetiser & wine bar and yes you can take it into the theatre with you! Arrive early and enjoy a full dinner menu. What's not to love!

We've been to this theater twice, and will go back again. Online reservation lets you pick your seats, the seats are luxurious and comfy, like flying first class. Everything is VERY clean, including restrooms. Staff is courteous and helpful. Concessions are overpriced, but that doesn't make this theater at all exceptional. Also, I recommend avoiding the first 3-4 rows (on the floor), as the sound is just blaring down there, almost unbearable. Get seats in one of the middle rows - E through H - and it'll be one of the best movie-going experiences ever. Makes standard theaters pale by comparison.

I really enjoyed my experience at Silverspot Cinema. The theater is actually quite impressive - the escalator leading up to the theater is a nice touch as well. It's well light up at night which makes going to see a movie a fun experience. The mini bar when you come in is charming..and the seating lounges make it comfy if you are waiting for someone's arrival. I like the fact that you can choose your own seat, and that your tickets indicate that that seat is yours for the movie. The leather seats are a nice touch and are very comfortable. Great for family nights out as well as date nights!

We went for the Valentine's Dinner and Movie. We ordered the Surf N Turf, medium rare. Our "filets" came out well done. Finally we received our food, the "filet" is believed to be a sirloin,a s it was very tough, and the shrimp were hardly cooked. We eat alot of steak, and this was one of the worst I have had. The food tasted lie ti came out of a buffet. The two tables beside us had sandwiches that looked pretty good though. The service was good, as was the dessert. Of course they have the best movie theater around. Maybe the sandwiches here are good, and that is the way to go if eating here, but considering I spent $100 for the dinner and movie I expected a much higher quality of food.

This place is amazing!!!! Yes it is pricey ($16 for a regular ticket) but you get what you pay for! The seats are like personal couches (extremely comfortable) and the quality of the screens is top notch! The cinema is spotless and they have a small cafe and bar right by the entrance. We only saw kiosks to purchase our tickets so I'm guessing you cannot pay with cash. When you purchase your tickets, you pick your seats which helps in making the movie watching experience even better. The cinema is located on the second floor of the Mercato shopping district which has nice restaurants and a few stores... definitely worth a visit! We will definitely be back when we return to Naples :)

Favorite Movie theater here! Good wine selection by bottle (you can take into movie) and super comfy big seats. It is in the Mercato outdoor shopping and dining, trendy area of Naples to enjoy. Love it!

Went here for the last time a few weeks ago while visiting Naples again... Mother had free tickets because of a screening she went to a few weeks prior where the film projector broke and they had to stop the screening. We saw a movie in theater 2, which was digital. I was like GOOD there won't be any projection problems as digital is very hard to mess up because you can't mess with it. Well I was wrong! The gamma was too high. It looks like someone raised the gamma to 2.6 without then recalibrating the projectors colors which of course made everything nasty looking. Skin tones were orange. Thank you Silverspot for being the first digital screening I've ever been to anywhere in the world out of at least probably 1000+ screenings (no kidding) where the digital projector was calibrated WRONG! I used to work for Technicolor where one of the many things I did was I installed and calibrated using spectrometers, 2k projectors... around the world... studios... movie sets... large and small movie venues. oy vey. So of course I sat there the whole time thinking about the orange faces instead of the movie. This is why color is important. Also note that the prices are more expensive than the nicest theaters in New York, or LA.

Our favorite - makes going to a movie a special occasion! We love the ticket kiosks. If the movie you choose is particularly busy, you can opt for another show time and get your preferred seats. The huge leather seats are so big that I can curl my feet up next to me! I also appreciate that the concessions stand offers a few options that are healthier than the usual movie theater fare.
