Okay. I have to admit that we go to Sam Bucco because of the frequent coupons. We would not, however, return of the food was not good. The ambience is excellent, the service is superb and the food is consistently good. Last night my wife and I, accompanied by two other couples, each raved about our meal, and each of us had ordered something different! We will certainly be back, and often.

We came here because the local Valpak had BOGO coupons and we thought we would give it a try. Inside was nicely decorated and service was excellent. My wife and I both got the strip and it was delicious! I would not pay full price for it however. At full price, you are better off driving down to 5th Ave and getting a much better meal there.

Clearly, this was a H-U-G-E surprise in dining quality and content. We loved this place!! We could not believe this establishment provided this level in dining environment and food quality!! We had; Chicken Marina and Pork Ossu-Bucco. Both were exceptional (and we done out a couple of time per week). If you are looking for a great dinning experience, please try it.

My family and I came here on the recommendation of a local person and we absolutely loved it! We consider this one of the best restaurant in Naples. The service was outstanding and the owner named Adele was personable and attentive throughout the entire meal! I highly recommend eating here and all our dishes were delicious! You can't go wrong with any of the dishes.

I went for the first time today and all I have to say is WOW! Absolutely delicious! Decent wine selection, decent ambience, spectacular food. A little bit pricey, but well worth it. Will come back again.

I would give this place one star based solely on the food, but their one redeeming quality was the staff. Everyone was very attentive and even honored our coupon and then gave it back to us for a second use. However, I don't think we will be going back. To start off, upon entering the restaurant we immediately felt like we did not belong. There was a severe age gap between us and every single other guest there, which normally would not bother me, but we literally had all eyes on us and felt as if we shouldn't have been there. Although that aspect was awkward, we made the best of it and went on to the food. Unfortunately it did not get much better. All of the food was VERY bland. I have never once in my life had to add salt to food and rather try to avoid it at all costs..but for the first time I had no choice but to add salt to my dish. My chicken was so tasteless that I ended up only eating the melted cheese off the top of it. Even the wine was mediocre at best...I didn't know it was possible to mess up wine (especially at those steep prices). My fiance had one of the nightly specials, some type of crepe filled with a variety of meats and spinach, which was nothing to rave over. They put the wrong sauce on the dish, served one small crepe with no sides-- needless to say it did not live up to the description at all. We left with a very expensive bill, even after the coupon, and were still hungry!! The portion sizes are small, food is VERY bland, and everything is overpriced considering the lack of quality. The staff is very kind, but unfortunately that is not enough to make this restaurant one that I will return to.

Italian/Turkish fusion and I had a french dish. Hmm a little confusing. We were part of a large group and we were accommodated very well. For starters I had the Turkish Calamari. Which is prepared by grilling and spicing the squid with coriander and cumin and a nice touch of balsamic vinegar. I would put this in the top 10 of calamari I have had over the years. Well worth getting. My next dish was the house salad an Italian Salad that had very nice mushrooms, arugula, balsamic and cheese. Nice salad. My main course was Steak Au Poivre, Very good presentation of their version of the classic. My wife had Chicken Napoleon which is sautéed chicken with porcini mushrooms, baby shrimp and garlic in a creamy demi glaze sauce, served with scalloped potatoes and asparagus. I was given a taste of the chicken and it was very moist and well prepared. I am certain I will be back and gasp try the chicken.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
