Great Happy Hour for food! The bar prices for alcohol are ridiculous. I have never paid more for a glass of wine than the total bottle cost! I had one glass of Menage Trios for 10.95 when you can get a bottle at Total Wine for under $9.00. But they do have great prices for food at Happy Hour. So next time I will skip the drinks and have water and food.

If you do not know fish, this place might impress. If you know fish, it really leaves a lot to be desired. More atmosphere than excellence. It's pricey too... I guess that's for the atmosphere. Frankly I would say far from "real" seafood, but I am spoiled by New England REAL seafood!

HORRIBLE from start to finish. Rude hostess: "the only table we have for you is a booth in the bar." We'd made the reservation two weeks ahead of our vacation visit. Bar was LOUD & smoky, server was overwhelmed, unobservant, and inattentive. Food was greasy and oversalted. Fifteen minutes after we agreed we'd like to see dessert menus, a manager dropped one on our table and walked away without a backwards glance. Five minutes later the waiter showed up - brought the requested check quickly enough, but again, no one came to pick it up for a very long time - same manager walking around looking over everyone's heads and seeing nothing. Too many other good places to waste your money on this loser.

Best free birthday meal. Free all inclusive meal on your birthday or a percentage off if you dine with guests. The best deal out there, but only on your exact birthday, they check. Great fresh seafood. Brussel sprout app is excellent, sides are fantastic. Huge restaurant. Worth a trip on your birthday.

Ordered the crab stuffed sole. The sole was perfectly cooked and presentation was quite lovely. However, the crab was as if from a can. Not worth the price. The bread, which was highly advertised, was nothing special. The idea that all the menus were on tablets was superfluous and deceitful (most of our eight person party received dishes that were not on par with the images on the screen). The service was subpar for a location of this caliber and price. Our waitress was disfluent and seemed unfriendly because of it. The other staff were much too quick to ask if we were finished and often interrupted conversation. The only true plusses were how quickly our food was served (restaurant was empty, though) and the quality of the alcoholic beverages (I highly recommend a Margarita, and even the cheapest of wines were great). 2 stars.

Real Seafood was "ok". The service was subpar. The early bird special (salad, entree, dessert and a glass of house wine) for $25 was a good deal. My mom loved it. The decor was similar to Fleming's/McCormick and Shmick, the freshbaked bread was good. I had the blue cheese coleslaw, coconut shrimp and coconut cheesecake. There wasn't anything special about it that I would have to run back for. There was outdoor seating (which they didn't offer us) and a 1/2 price bar menu (drinks and apps) which isn't available to u if you are seated in the dining room. The waitress (with Rastafarian hair) wasn't the least bit even remotely pleasant.

Has anyone ever heard of Happy Hour? 2 for 1 drinks, half price wine, $3beer???? Get this!!!! Their Happy Hour is referring to a special appetizer Menu...drinks are not inc in Happy Hour! Crazy! We were the only ones there so don't think that's a big draw for people...

Real seafood has the freshest seafood and the presentation is beautiful. Casual upscale atmosphere Try the seafood gazpacho. Servers are top notch.

Went out for drinks and appetizers with friends and had a blast. The appetizers were definitely some of the best seafood delicacies I've ever had. The service was great as well, the employee were very welcoming. This is definitely a place I highly recommend for drinks and seafood!

Best perch we have had since living on Lake Erie. It was very lightly battered and small filets. Lobster and filet were excellent. Warm bread and lightly dressed field green salad was tasty. We were too full for desert. Service was supurb!

Will definitely go back!!! We are foodies, we love to eat out & The Parmesan encrusted Sole was probably the best fish we have eaten. The sides were just ok, the shrimp Cocktail was good , but I just have to reiterate the fish was THE Best

Mediocre food, appalling service. We came in a party of 6 for dinner with good expectations, and it was disappointing. Service was astonishingly bad. Wine orders were served incorrectly, and had to be returned. Our salads sat with dirty dishes on a serving stand next to our table for 20 minutes , before the waiter attempted to serve them; we asked to have them remade based on the time and dirty dishes and are not clear if this was really done. Dinner plates were served as if at a diner, before we finished our salads, with the server asking the group who got what dish, with plates then plopped bruskly onto the table. The stuffed flounder was served lukewarm, and dry; scallops were overcooked and with too much sauce. Finished plates sat in front of us for 15 minutes until some [ not all] of them were removed before dessert was served. No one at the restaurant, including the manager we asked to speak with but did not see, seemed too interested in our feedback. In a great restaurant town like Naples I am surprised that Real Seafood is attracting any customers. Unfortunately, it is a place we will not recommend nor return to.

Food is always good, but made the mistake of going to Happy Hour. BE CAREFUL!!! I ordered a cosmo and the bartender told me only well drinks, beer and wine (by the glass) were included. So, instead of the cosmo I ordered a glass of sauvignon blanc (and then another!) Bill came and I was charged full price for both glasses ($23.75). Asked the (same) bartender and he told me sauvignon blanc was NOT included on the Happy Hour. Shame!!! You need to be upfront with your customers when they are ordering!!! There are simply too many good restaurants in Naples to go to that don't try to play games with their so called "Happy Hour" so I won't be back.

One of the reasons we selected the restaurant last Friday was to take advantage of their excellent birthday promotion. Four of us received 25% off from our bill and I, as the birthday guest, also received a very tasty piece of Key Lime pie. From the initial greeting as we walked in until our goodbyes at departure the staff could not have been more pleasant or accommodating. We all made different selections and the consensus was that everything was delicious. There is no doubt that we will be returning even if it isn't a birthday night.

Do not know if I have ever given 5 stars but this one deserves it if any does. Again thank you to my Yelpers for your wonderful contributions which brought us here. North Naples delight, right off Vanderbilt rd. Perfect evening of quality food, service, ambience, all in one, Choose the bar and sushi area (separate room) an indoor courtyard, cozy booths on the sides, outdoor seating, whatever your pleasure. Professional staff knowledgable on food, menu on iPads complete with pictures and allergy information. Lots of food choices even for vegetarians, gluten free meals and deserts galore. Tip: 1. You eat 50% off on your birthday, no club to join, just bring ID 2. Order before 530, they have a 3 course Early Fare only $24.95 Try it, then thank me later :)

Ok so this review is a few years overdue but since I have Yelp now I just had to post a review about this place. On a trip to Naples with my bestfriend & her family we were all craving seafood & we literally stumbled upon this place. Upon entering I was a bit skeptical because the place was practically empty. I later found out that they had just recently opened so I guess a lot of people didn't know about them yet. They sat us in a booth that was in a shape of a clam. I felt like I was in a scene of the little mermaid, which was ok with me considering that is one of my all time favorite disney movies. The host handed us our menus on Ipads, which I thought was pretty cool. For my entree I ordered the surf & turf dish, which was a lobster tail with a petite filet. It also came with mashed potatoes & asparagus. I thoroughly enjoyed everything I ate. The service was also impeccable beginning from the host to our servers. I can't complain about any of the experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for good seafood in a romantic & unique setting.

This is a wonderful place to have a bite to eat as a community Seafood Restaurant. My server was absolutely on top of her game as it pertains to her wonderful personality and hitting all the service points. She actually did a great job in up-selling my guess and myself on glasses of wine. (Great Job! ) My only issue is I absolutely love steaks and the bloody rare the better. So I ordered two Petite Fillets ("Pittsburg Style" or as some may call it," Black and Blue".) When the steaks arrived they were merely grilled and medium rare. I spoke to the server and she politely removed the items and spoke to the Chef/Manger on duty. He came to my table and explained they do not have a cast-iron to prepare a proper Pittsburg Style steak and that he would try his best. He was extremely polite and professional and seemed like a very nice gentleman during our conversation and made a second attempt to prepare the steak. This also was not correct so I suggested that they purchase a cast-iron for the kitchen just for this type of situation and he said he would look into it. Need-less to say he offered me the second steak order at no charge to me, as they could not prepare it correctly. Overall I had a wonderful time at Real Seafood. Even-though they could not cook my steak to my satisfaction the team handled the situation incredible professional, friendly, and were amazingly hospitable. I will go back again in the future but I may not order a steak unless they have a cast-iron.

What a bummer. Went for my birthday instead of the usual Nemo, Trulucks o r Chops that we go for specisl occasions. Thought this was "high end" seafood. Not!!! Hsd to explain the wine to the server. Farm raised Atlantic salmon! Minimal menu mediocre quality except. For the platter appetizer. They dud have a good happy hour we went to before. This was just a big downer. Save your money. Ken Naples

Great looking place w/ interesting decor in the main dining room, the bar is really open-air Key West beautiful. Service was friendly & hit every note perfectly all 3 visits... The only problem is the food, very non-descript, very boring, nothing exciting, meals I've ordered, I've gotten bored eating halfway through & didn't even want a to-go box, that blahhh.... (I always will take leftovers home, not here) The oysters are the worst, small shrivelled lil tastleless goo-balls & it's a shame because there's a guy at the raw bar that shucks them, I was fired up for something great. If touristy-trappy places like 'the Dock' downtown can offer 2-3 different great tasting oysters on their menu & Pelican Larry's oysters are twice the size & flavor of your oysters, you have serious problems in the oyster department! Great look, Great staff, Real Seafood is only in the name, not the concept.

We ordered from the "Early Fare" menu which we had found out existed purely by accident. I don't remember seeing an ad for this restaurant, not just for the early specials, anywhere, but by 6 PM on an early April Saturday they were busy. The room is light and spacious. The early dining rendition consists of salad, entree, dessert and a glass of wine for $25, 4-5:30 PM. The entree of parmesan encrusted sole got raves from the three of us who ordered it and the accompanying asparagus was cooked to perfection. The coconut shrimp entree got 4 out of 5 stars. The key lime pie was melt in your mouth delicious. A cheerful and attentive server helped make this a most enjoyable evening. We're looking forward to going back.

  • Aaron B.

Very nice open dining area. The raw selection of oysters was good. The Miso Sea Bass is the best a must when you go to this place. The Miso Sea Bass was better than Trulucks. The deserts we had were of not great. All in all I would go back to this place. Service was not as good but it was toward 9pm and they were busy so their servers were beat.

We had an excellent meal last night off of the "early bird" menu. Food and service was terrific. I would strongly recommend.

    (5)
  • Jessica A.

I absolutely love it here. Always a must stop when we come down. I always get the oysters or the scallop appetizer with the pillows stuffed with mushroom and it is unreal. I love the lobster ravioli so much and the Parmesan crusted fish is so yummy too!

    (5)
  • George T.

Still one of my favorite places for the real treat. Peppered Angus Ribeye is one of my favorites even though it's a seafood place. They make it perfect as ordered, consistently. Reservations are recommended. As they can get busy any day of the week especially during season. Service quick, professional and friendly. Wait staff is knowledgeable about wines and pairings too.

  • Michael K.

Came here after other options were a little too crowded early on a Sunday. They had some good happy hour deals in the lounge. A dollar each for the best raw oysters I've had anywhere ever. Salmon sashimi was a little strange, high quality fish, but not served with soy sauce and had pickled onions accompanying the ginger and wasabi. Our excellent waiter Billy mentioned sushi was new to the menu so maybe that will change with time. Lobster was very good and sea bass was prepared well. Key lime pie was better than Randy's, the crust was so good. Very comparable to Legal Seafood in New England, except slightly cheaper and significantly better through one visit.

  • William E.

The Real Seafood was just that and prepared to perfection. Try the Calamari for a starter, cooked with peppers and really out of this world. The Coconut Shrimp entree was spot on and more than I could eat. My wife had the salmon and was pleased as punch. Nice place, have been there before, will be back.

Very deft for accomodating our luncheon group of 40 ladies. The private dining room was spacious and decorated with multicolored chandeliers that looked like fish with colored bubbles in their bellies. Our hostess had bubbles for us all, too, and no one minded the child-like diversion blowing a few soap bubbles into the air while we waited for our meal. A little blip that had to be embarassing for mgmt: The kitchen was about 40 minutes late getting our fresh bread and entrees to the table. Luckily our own conversation carried the time so no one seemed to mind. I finished my salmon with maple glaze, accompanied by mashed new potatoes, and asparagus, in record time. Quick enough to draw a sarcastic comment from a table companion, "Did you enjoy your lunch?" Yep. Make way for the cheescake square on graham cracker crust. I'm shameless. The regular menu has Great Lakes white fish like walleye and perch in season. Be sure to call ahead if this is what you're after. Only a couple of local restos offer this to its Midwestern fish eaters, demand is high, and it disappears off the menu pretty quickly.

  • Randy M.

Very disappointing. So much positive momentum with the facility, the dining room staff, and the website (attractive online menu). Problem: it's the fish! When a Florida restaurant can't make delicious grouper they may want to rethink their kitchen help. Mine was dense like it had been squashed, not seasoned properly (bland) and nearly raw in the middle. All that made me wonder if the fish started out frozen.. $30 for that disaster. The Chilean sea bass with the Shanghai prep, (an extra $2.95) was better but not "phenomenal", the adjective our waitress used to describe every dish, every choice. Again, the sea bass was bland,, seemingly not professionally seasoned. Bread and dessert were both excellent. The "Real Seafood Co." was real lousy.

    (1)
  • Deb A.

Don't order the scallop appetizer.... There are only 2 scallops for $7.95. No drink deals for happy hour.. Not very happy. Server was very good though.

I visted Real Seafood for Happy Hour and I have to say that they have some great deals on their happy hour menu. The prices range from 4-10 dollars for small plates and the food that we ordered was pretty darn good. We tried the coconut shrimp, crabcake, seared tuna, baked oysters, and stuffed mushrooms. Everything was tasty, the only down side was that there are NO drink specials to go with the food specials. The happy hour is from 5-7 and you can sit on their patio, which is part of the bar. I don't think I would go here for a regular dinner after looking at their prices and comparing the atmosphere to so many other good restaurants in Naples.

  • Kayj F.

We had a fabulous family dinner served by Jen. Ordering from an iPad was so much fun for our techie kids. All the entrees were delicious and beautifully plated. The coconut shrimp were the best we've had and the baked oysters and clams really nice. The Parmesan Lemon Sole was the big winner but the seared scallops and grilled grouper were excellent as well. The lobster mashed potatoes were most enjoyable. We all shared the chocolate volcano cake and creme brûlée for dessert. Well done Naples Real Seafood, we'll be back.

Went for Happy Hour. Appetizer specials. No drink specials. Nice bar area. Happy hour bar food is quite good and reasonably priced. Drinks like every other place. Atmosphere is pleasant. Bartender was rude and ruined the mood for patrons. May go back but would avoid this bartender that we won't forget.

I've been here 4-5 times while visiting family in Naples over the past few years and it's always been good. I am from Naples and know good fish (believe you me heh). (live in LA and NYC... don't get me started with sushi in LA) The drinks are also good. Service is generally good. good. Are there better seafood places in Naples? Sure. Roys for sure (the Bonita one). But this is pretty good too. Not mind blowing but good. They have a great raw bar. The oysters were good. The sole is tasty. Yellowfin Tuna was good too.

The Real Seafood Restaurant is probably the best restaurant I've ever been to in Napes. Our waiter, Bill, was extremely helpful in making choices off the extensive menu. The menu changes with availability, but there are so many choices available. The sushi was the best I've ever had, and my husband loved the fresh oysters. My crusted sole was amazing and my husbands paella was delicious also. Our host, Jesse, even helped him crack the large lobster claw. All in all, you will love this restaurant. The Happy Hour had good reviews too, but I would recommend the full menu choices. The food and the service can't be beat!!

Every time I've been to Real Seafood the service is wonderful and the food is just as good. They are very friendly and make you feel welcome. Everything I've ever ordered has met or exceeded my expectations. We have eaten here quite a few times and I've never been disappointed with what I've ordered. That being said it's not the absolute best but the consistently good food and great service keeps us coming back. The host that is usually there is extremely friendly and welcoming. A great place and pleasant dining experience.

They discontinued the early fare dining which consisted of 3 courses and 1 bottle of selected wine for $24.95. We had dinner there recently and had 2 courses and the same bottle of wine that was offered at the early fare dining but paid full price of course. The food was skimpy - very little quantity. We had more food with the early fare dining. Paid over $100 with tax and tip. Will never go back - was not worth it!!

Key lime pie was better than Randy's, the crust was so good. Very comparable to Legal Seafood in New England, except slightly cheaper and significantly better through one visit.

Best perch we have had since living on Lake Erie. It was very lightly battered and small filets. Lobster and filet were excellent. Warm bread and lightly dressed field green salad was tasty. We were too full for desert. Service was supurb!

Looking for a classy upscale experience! This is definitely it. Great food selection. Beautiful decor and the service is bar none! Have eaten here many times and it is my top 5 pick!

2 stars.

Went out for drinks and appetizers with friends and had a blast. The appetizers were definitely some of the best seafood delicacies I've ever had. The service was great as well, the employee were very welcoming. This is definitely a place I highly recommend for drinks and seafood!

Ken Naples
