The URL for their website didn't work, so I popped in to pick up a menu because I was planning to order a meatless pizza later that night. This place is beautiful and the gentleman who greeted me was very kind. The prices are very reasonable for the area. I ordered the Quattro Formaggi pizza to go - it was very delicious and I loved the crust! I only wished I had some wine to go with it. I can't wait to go back and try some of the other items. Beautiful decor, well appointed indoor and spacious outdoor dining area - I would recommend this place. It is located on the corner of Wiggins Pass and Tamiami - behind Walgreens in the Wiggins Pass Crossing plaza.

Billed as gourmet pizza - whatever that is - the real enjoyment here is from a tastefully appointed, small, white table clothed venue run efficiently by Italian partners. It adds to a place's authenticity when the waistaff are bantering in Italian. Plus there is a large outdoor seating area - now plagued with the presence of smokers. Hopefully you will arrive when the smokers decicded to eat somewhere else.

This is our go-to local pizza place, definitely convenient since it's right across the street! The service is always fantastic and the people who run the place are very very friendly. They always play peek-a-boo with my daughter while we're waiting to get the pizza; just sweet people! We take my in-laws there for pasta while they're in town, and it's very very good. The wine selection is nice as well and my husband enjoys that they have Peroni on tap. Everything is a cut above - it's not just Olive Garden, it's really authentic and delicious. Good sized portions, but not so big you need to wear sweatpants or anything. :)

after checking the restaurant menu on-line, we decided to try it because they offered gluten free pizza. Much to our disappointment, the waiter informed us that they wouldn't have gluten free pizza until next week. We promptly left as there are many good options for Italian food as well as gluten free options. We won't be bCk!

This is a little gem in a strip mall. The minute we entered we were enveloped with the most tantalizing aromas, I literally could not wait to eat. The atmosphere is warm and homey and feels more like a high end restaurant than a pizzeria. The service was excellent and the staff was very attentive. I ordered a special which was veal with a Bolognese sauce. It was heavenly, and by far the most tender and flavorful veal I have had here in Florida, served with penne and fresh shaved Parmigiano Reggiano cheese. If you're looking for a huge slab of heavily breaded and fried veal, this is not the place for you. I also had two glasses of red wine that the owner recommended, and it was delicious. Sadly, I neglected to find out what it was. I am looking forward to another visit soon. It will take willpower for me to try something else, because that veal is calling me.

Great find !!! This is in the location of what was the old Gatsby's Pizzeria. The look is brand new...All great brown tones. Pizza is thin, crispy and delicious !!! They have added Pastas and chicken and more. The staff is absolutely on the money and you will have plenty of money after paying the check. Wine list is great, Try the Malbac by glass or the Sondria by the Bottle. The new neighborhood restaurant if you live near Wiggins Pass

I'll be a regular at this place! Cute little gem tucked in the back corner of a plaza. Clean, super friendly wait staff, decent food, good pricing, wine list left something to be desired... Needs an upgrade on bread service, felt like it was pillsbury cut and bake rolls. Ordered lobster ravioli with langoustine sauce and pepperoni pizza. Great flavors, perfect seasoning, I would have licked my plate if I could get away with it. This place is a keeper for me!

Pizza was very good. Got bruschetta per the photo and was nothing like the photo and the bread for the bruschetta was stale, not toasted. No cheese shavings as shown. Would eat pizza again, but no more appetizers.

I went to pico Bello tonight I ordered veal Parmesan this has to be the worst veal I ever tasted two very small pieces and a tiny tiny order of pasta that was cold the veal was cold tough and it tasted like it was thawed out in the microwave and then heated terrible food small portions. Bread was old and the waiter said he could not give separate checks. My advice go to Taco Bell you'll be much more satisfied

The four cheese fettuccine was delicious! The service was excellent. We sat outside and had it all to ourselves. I would go there again.

Returned here for the second time and we will become "regulars". Authentic Italian, FRESH and delicious food, the most tender veal parmigiana I've ever had (cut it with a fork), super fresh salad.....we love the atmosphere, warm and welcoming staff, and prices here are very reasonable because the portions are enough to share. We love the very thin Italian pizza as well - but the whole dining experience for us here is special and we will definitely return. It's a neighborhood gem that we REALLY enjoy. Great job, PiccoBello!

We took our family, and it was fabulous! The special that night was Lobster Ravioli and I've been thinking about it ever since. The best I've ever had!! Service was professional and friendly. Our server really knewthe menu and had great suggestions. Even our 10 and 12 year old grandchildren found items on the menu they loved! . There were so many great choices on the menu that we are planning our next visit so we can try more! Highly recommend!!!

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
