This is the second time I've been here, once for a graduation dinner a few years ago and then last night for dinner. The food has always been really good - the pizzas are classic and thin crust. Some are a little eclectic for my taste but others are fantastic! Last night I had the pizza burger it was good - could have used some red sauce and a little more mozzarella, but that is really just my preference. They are served with waffle fries that are nice and crispy. Got a peach iced tea that was delicious! They had some live music outside and it was perfect, turned out to be a great night just eating, chatting and listening to music!

I was curious about this place because it usually looks pretty slow. I walk by it a lot from where I park at Mercato. We went with friends who suggested it and I was pleasantly suprised. There were tons of menu options that sounded good and it was hard to decide. I had a big glass of wine and a Captiva salad. It had chicken, goat cheese, mango, apples, craisins and candied pecans on greens with balsamic. It was a very generous portion. The Amazing Ahi app was different than expected- it was like a tuna salad in a martini glass where you scoop it onto the bread...but it was good as well. Our friend got a flatbread and it was huge and looked delicious. The service was friendly and the manager came to check on us more than once. We sat outside on the patio and it wasn't too hot. I would go back.

Cute location, the mercato shops are a great place to dine & shop. The restaurant is casual, friendly service. We ordered the Mediterranean flatbread which was good, expected it to be a little bit better. The chix Ceasar wrap was average, same with the BBQ boneless wings. We had a good experience but would definitely try the other restaurants here next time we come.

We had the best experience this evening! Our server Ed was outstanding and knowledgeable. He recommended both the firecracker salmon and a coslata flatbread. Both meals were incredibly delisious and very affordable. Wouldn't change a thing! We had a perfect date night.

In the sea of shops and restaurants in the popular and trendy Mercado plaza, the genuine charisma and flavor of "Napoli" is expressed through the extensive menu, excellent service, wine, beer and cocktail list and HAPPY HOUR at this delightful restaurant. Will definitely return and ask for John, the charming manager and gracious host!

Kudos to Naples Flatbread at Mercato (there are several Naples locations, and a thriving franchise in Tulsa, OK) for hosting the first Unofficial Yelp Event for local reviewers. Yelpers Paul & Arlene H hosted a lively party that was thoroughly enjoyed by all for riding the next wave of fine Yelp experience in SW Florida. Owner Ralph contributed luscious chocolate and peanut butter cakes for guests to share, along with gift certificates for attendees' prizes. I paired a house pinot noir with an interesting appetizer served in a martini glass: white onion, avocado chunks, and ahi tuna tossed in a tart dressing. Tasty as it was pretty. My friend had the house cheese cake. This too was an interesting presentation and even more beguiling taste: a disk of baked cheese cake, dominated by goat cheese and crowned with caramelized nut. Others at the long table of partiers enjoyed house specialities such as half price buffalo wings, and rectangular plates of various flatbreads with toppings of complimentary flavors. Looking forward to more opportunities to meet fellow Yelpers. Thanks for the rewarding efforts and appreciated hospitality, UYE organizers and our gracious host, Naples Flatbread!

Had dinner here with my mom, daughter and grandson. The atmosphere is great and the food was delicious!! I recommend the Moonshine BBQ Salad and the El Mariachi Flatbread. The service was also amazing. Our server, Kaycee, was great. She was very attentive and knowledgable about all of the menu items. The manager, Justin, stopped at our table more than once to be sure everything was to our liking. We will definitely return as soon as possible!!

Fantastic food and great service. My wife and I literally eat here once a week and can't get enough of it. Always delicious as well as a great drink selection.

Went for dinner. Service was good as was the good. Casual and reasonably prices for the area. Went at 6 and wine/beer were 1/2 price. Great deal. Patio on the side isn't as nice as front patio. Request front patio. Live music on the lawn across from the front of restaurant was nice.

Terrible service! We were seated immediately but weren't even asked what we would like to drink for 10 minutes! There were 7 servers that I counted and one additional table who had to wait as long as we did. Don't go here!!

Wine bar = 2-3 stars. Pizza place = 4-5 stars. Always had a great time here and the pizzas are great. But I would come here for just drinks. Too many better places.

A little explanation: SWFL does not have an Events Page, and we started a UYE, so we are posting our dining experience here for lack of a better place. ....and what a great experience we had at Naples Flatbread! I started off with a few lovely house pinot grigios and after a little mingling and finding how awesome the Yelp community is Southwest Florida, we finally sat down for more intimate conversation. Food came out in a timely manner. Many of us ordered flatbreads, salads, and I ordered their short rib dinner with roasted potatoes. We've been at this location before among its other ones in the area, and my husband and I usually order a flatbread and salad to split. This time, I felt like going off the beaten path. My short ribs were off a great textural consistency with a deep earthiness to the flavor, and my roasted potatoes had a nice power-packed roasted taste. It felt like it didn't need a lot of seasoning to have that same earthiness as the meat. I also was very impressed that they had lovely gluten-free choices, and I hear that the gluten-free choices were even more tasty than the regular choices. We were also offered a lovely spread of desserts - chocolate and peanut butter cake and tuxedo bombs. Definitely a must try and a great way to upsell and bring back the patrons. The service was by far amazing. We were greeted by owners, Ralph and Palma, whom were both so gracious to take on a community that could have a tremendous impact on their business. We thank them for taking the risk. The wait staff were courteous and friendly, and although there may have been a few hiccups, the recovery time and follow-up made up for it all. We never expect to have a perfect experience, but we do expect Customer Service 101, and they definitely delivered. I wish all the best for this restaurant. Although in a not-so-prominent location at the Mercato, we hope that future experiences and reviews will drive the traffic eastward to Naples Flatbread. We hope to see you all soon!

I just received the lobster flat bread. It is amazing ! I stopped for the first time for lunch. We are the only people inside. I ordered the lunch deluxe so a flat bread and side salad. This is so good. I can't wait to come back to try more food!

I just tried their basilica flatbread and it was good. The chicken is just the plain diced type and the pesto is nothing outstanding, but everything together is a nice combo. The apple goat cheese bruschetta is very sweet. Wouldn't recommend it unless you're looking for that. We actually asked to have it exchanged and they were very nice about getting us a new dish. The spinach and artichoke dip was definitely better.

Had a Julius Caesar Salad and a Pepperoni Pizza. Both were way better than expected. The crispy prosciutto in the salad was a refreshing change to a simple dish. Our server was a real nice guy named David that took great care during our visit. My companion ordered a Strawberry/Basil infused drink with Tito's vodka. Also fantastic. We look forward to our next visit. The entire menu looks fun!

Really unimpressive. I recommend anywhere else in Mercado. Our server was terrible- zero menu knowledge, zero personality, and very low competency. He forgot / got wrong at least 4-5 drinks / food orders through out our meal, and seemed inconvenienced every time some one asked for another beverage. They were also out of the first two drinks i tried to order (wine by the glass & bottled beer out of their bev list) and our Server wasn't sure if they had the third. I decided to go with Heineken in hopes that i would finally just get something to put down my throat. Also- i think they had some kind of happy hour or promo going, but I am not sure what it was & server definitely didnt' mention it. The food was acceptable in quantity and quality, although I thought the spinach dip was cold and watery and the trio dip was bland. There are some interesting flavor combos on the flatbread menu, and that is the best thing I have to say. Also- I found it to be irritatingly loud due to the open floor plan, cement floor, and strange club music in the background. This was also made worse by the fact that the party of 12 next to us was half toddlers, so there was a day-care atmosphere going. I usually don't give one star unless their is an unforgivable disaster during the meal, but I have moderate to high expectations for dining in Mercado, and this did not even come close.

We had 2 different flatbreads. The Gyro style and one with chicken. I can't remember the names though.. Both were good but I wouldn't go out of my way to get it. My friend got the salmon and he said it was very good. We came here because it wasn't as busy as some of the others but I would go back for sure. Server was quick and on point also

My daughter and I had lunch here today around 12:30. We received a value pack coupon,in the mail so we thought we would try it. What a wonderful meal we had...We sat outside and had excellent service. Our waitress, was attentive but not overbearing. I thought the prices were very reasonable here. I had the lobster/langusta flatbread and it was full of lobster meat and mushrooms, and my daughter had the tiki chicken flat bread, and it was amazing! She also had a house salad for $2 extra and it was exceptionally fresh, with lots of diced cucumbers, tomatoes and carrots, it was a steal for the price. I was surprised with the low prices, they don;t get you with the sodas, desserts and coffee, in fact I had a fresh cup of hot coffee for $1.99 and it was very good! Overall it was a wonderful meal, and we will be back!!,

Limited "full bar" but great beer and wine selection. Some standard cocktails as well. The flatbreads are adventurous but excellent. Boneless wings are small but very good. Don't skip the appetizers, they are worth it! Outside seating available and they take reservations on OpenTable.

A very nice place. The menus is fairly extensive and the portions are huge. The best deal is to get a half-price appetizer as a main course.

I happened to visit Naples Flatbread & Wine Bar last Wednesday for a drink and caught their "Wine Down Wednesday" special. Lucky me!! I believe the deal was that anything with wine was half off. They use wine in place of liquor for a lot of their cocktails, so in addition to their wines, a lot of their fruity drinks and ciders were part of the deal, too! I had a Mango Margarita, and it was absolutely perfect. I tasted my friend's Pink Flirtini, too, and it is a great option if you're in the mood for some bubbly! My friends and I started to have a little bit of a sweet craving, so we ordered dessert. I don't remember exactly what it was called, but the chocolate dessert with peanut butter was incredible. My mouth is watering just thinking about it! We swung by NFB before seeing a movie on Friday night, too, and they had Happy Hour starting at 9:00. I think it was half price again, which is such a good deal. After doing a little research, I found the following list of specials on their Facebook page: WEEKLY SPECIALS Sunday - "Date Night" Monday - "Kids Eat Free" Tuesdays - "Two for Tuesday-BOGOHO" Wednesday - "Wine Down Wed" Thursday - "Half Priced Roasted Wings" Fri & Sat - "Live Entertainment"

Nice place. Essentially a grown up pizzaria with great wine value. Thankfully the wine was served in glassware, but the water and soft drinks were served in plastic. Service was attentive and polite. Food was good. No complaints. I think this place certainly benefits from It's location in the outdoor mall since The Pub several feet away was slammed with people.

Genre for rating: American, casual Wine bar is a stretch, but the flatbreads are quite good. Also above average are the salads, especially for lunch. Mercato has another wine bar opening soon, which will hopefully be a more pure vino option. Food: *** Service: *** Atmosphere: *** Best bet: go for lunch, I get the captiva salad

Nice place! Lots of pizza options. Pizza pretty good. Good salad. My husband had a sandwich and he liked it a lot. Not very busy. Happy hour goes to 7pm and 9pm-close every night. Wine is beer is half price. Super cheap!

Love this place. Consistently good service, nice selection of wines and beers for the unpretentious consumer, and good flatbreads with unusual topping combos. The price point is decent and they're always very accommodating. Also, I don't get the stank eye when I bring in my (well behaved, not loud) child - most of the servers are really nice to her and stop by to say hi. Love this place!

Great salads and gluten free pizza. Went a second time and the restaurant staff seems a little disorganized, but all in all pretty decent food.

Had a great meal here on Monday night, 11/26. The only reason it is not 5 stars is because the chicken in the salad was a little over done. Tha flatbread was awesome and the service was friendly and responsive

A very happy find. Great service. John the GM was very attentive and interested in feedback. The cocktails were great, including one of the house specials. The wings were amazing - bang bang style. My wife lived her salmon sandwich. I ordered the Tulsa burger. Beef burger Wellington? This thing is unique and super tasty. There's am extensive gluten free menu (for my wife) and I can't knock it. Really enjoyable and recommended.

Finally I have tried all three locations of this locally owned restaurant here in SWFL. At each location the service and food are incredible. Not a location run better, or differently, but all extremely fine tuned. Naples flatbread is always giving back to the local community that supports them. They are not some huge corporation of people sitting behind desks, they are a phenomenal husband and wife team trying provide great service, wonderful food, and being an active member of our great community!! Now on to the FOOD!! I have had just about everything on the menu and it is all freakin amazing. Of course one of my favorite items are the wings. They come oven roasted instead of deep fried which is a nice change. I am always in limbo between 3 or 4 flatbreads with the tikka usually winning out. The Mac and cheese is sooo creamy, made with real cheese. Sometimes I just order a big bowl to take home for later. If you want quality, homemade, reasonable prices, this is the place. You can feel even better knowing it is being made with love from a good family who cares.

Went for after movie lunch! Yummy! Been to all three in SW Florida and the service and food at this one is the best! Daughter had her favorite lobster mac and cheese! Yum!

This is my favorite lunch spot in Naples! They offer creative offerings on the flatbread menu but they will gladly add/subtract any item you wish. I can only speak on behalf of the flatbreads as that is the only thing my guests and I have ever ordered. The flatbreads are that good! We can't even look at any other page in the menu because there are so many mouth watering fresh options on the flatbread list. Maybe, just maybe, I will venture away from the flatbread list and try a salad that looks delicious, or a wrap or panini, or soup, or....maybe I will stay in my little comfort zone, with my comfort food flatbread, and relax and enjoy all that life has to offer!

Maybe they had an off-night...but...Bang bang flatbread pizza was oil drenched tiny bits of breaded shrimp on sickening sweet caramelized onions. Just horrible. The salad was inedible. Loads of surgery sweet dressing. Wasted $50 on dinner for two. Go anywhere else in Mercado.

Great food. Happy hour runs 3p-7p with half-off beer and wine. Tuesdays is Buy One Get One flatbread (which typically run $14-$18 or so). Quality is great, and servings generous.

Whenever you walk into a restaurant and smell the clogged grease trap from the kitchen, turn around and walk out. I wished we had. The fruit flies and the smell of bad beer were also hints that we should have left. After the manager pulled his hands out of his pockets and acknowledged us (sorry to interrupt the game), he told us to sit wherever we liked. Luckily, the restaurant was empty. The bartender, not a waitress, took our drink order and vanished. 20 minutes later, she reappeared and delivered drinks. She then vanished again for another. 20 minutes before we got to place our order. Bad went to worse when cold pizza and inedible wings appeared. No one cared to check back and we felt amazed that a business run so poorly continues to exist in the Mercato. We will NEVER return and my son says 'thank you' for the diarrhea. Epic fail.

In the Mercato in Naples so that you can walk off the calories and wine buzz by window shopping and checking out the prevelance of rich old guys and their lemon tart younger companions. I shouldn't be so cynical Iam sure it's all True Love and Cupid in SW Florida has a sense of humour. Nice restaurant with outdoor seating, 1 order of flatbread is enough for 2 people. They have a lunch special with a smaller size flatbread and soup which is a better way to try the different toppings on the flatbread. Very good wine and beer selection and they don't kill you on the price.

Awesome!! Delicious food, fast, efficient and very friendly service from Brittany. I absolutely suggest dining here. I will certainly be back. (Don't go to the other Naples Flat bread location. They're awful)

Just ate at the Mercato location and the food was amazing. Great service from our waiter Ed, from England, who was very friendly and helpful. There were so many good flatbreads to choose from it was hard to decide. Everything was delicious!

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
