Authentic, but dingy Cuban restaurant located in a strip mall amongst check cashing and pawn shops. Sometimes, these are the best places to go to find authentic food -- and this was no exception. Marco's has a pretty extensive menu with all of the Cuban classics you can imagine (the menu is huge). We tried a variety of things, including staples like ropa vieja, plantains, and rice and beans (these are usually a good way to judge a Cuban restaurant). Food was good, but not overly fresh tasting, which is no surprise given that there were only a handful of people in the place. Decor is a bit of a mess, with blacked out windows that seem more appropriate for an adult movie shop than a restaurant. It looks like the type of place that was another restaurant first and then the current owner took over with minimal renovations. Anyway, not worth going out of your way, but if you are in the area and want some authentic Cuban food, Marco's is a decent (and the only) choice. Takeout is recommended over eating in.
