The nostalgia of this place takes me back home when I found myself loitering the food court and having a crepe at a kiosk in Toronto. Holding a nice package of delectable riches was a novelty, even though it ultimately is a flattened cone-like burrito. With Crepemaker, you never have to choose from the savory or sweet choices, because they offer a combo. Who would have thought of eating two crepes in one meal? They're both quite manageable without all the guilt. The best part about this place is a nice way to detract you from the mundane junk that the food court offers in Coastland Center. One of the best parts is watching the action as the crepe artists create the perfect crepe. The thoughts of attempts to make one are visible for a split second, then reality sinks in and I can just drive to the freaking mall and have someone make it for me for cheap. Plus, I would spend more time watching youtube videos on pancake art. I have ordered their philly cheese steak(?), and their black and white dessert crepe. The contents of the savory crepe may serve itself better if they have a separate place to sautee the vegetable contents. Regardless, it was still tasty. As for the nutella and banana and whip cream crepe? Don't touch that one. It's hellagood. Apparently, this place is a franchise, and efforts are made to cater. I think one can be the star of the show if they had a crepe maker come to a party. They also set up a booth at the local Pine Ridge/Livingston market on the weekends. I hope that this place gets a chance to shine in the Naples area. It's a small establishment in a sea of Neapolitan beasts. Check it out when you're at the mall, it's a stand-alone kiosk opposite the DQ.
