Absolutely best place for pancakes in Southwest Florida. Only open for breakfast starting in August which is when you should go anyway. Prepare to wait but they will bring you a cup of coffee while you watch the boats come in.

Flapjacks definitely, hold the sausage & the coffee. Can't say too much because it was my first time. However, I would return. The atmosphere is grease spoon like since you're sitting in the kitchen with the grill right there. Service is good but they only do cash, big draw back. Location is super, especially if you want to walk around after eating. Docks, boats etc.

Great staff, delicious food, and the best corned beef hash in naples!! Don't forget to try the pancakes!

Best breakfast in Naples. Be prepared to carb up. Pancakes and potatoes are great! Long wait time on weekends so put name in and take a walk to Naples City Dock. The place is no frills dive restaurant. Only downside is it's cash only. I would go here more, spend more and tip more if they took credit cards. I never carry cash...

Best breakfast in old Naples, not many places like this anymore. Bring cash, they don't take cards. Nothing fancy, just good food and good people. Cooked in sight, must be right.

  • Mark B.

Perfect unpretentious breakfast spot off the lobby of the Cove Inn. Egg, omelet, pancake, French toast menu. Tasty food, interesting staff, usually a wait, but it is worth it. Bring cash - no plastic - though it is reasonably priced.

The place is great. They have an area for dogs with a great view to the water. Service is good. We love to order peel and eat shrimp! They are yummy!

Talk about fast food! We ordered and within 5 minutes our food was brought out to us. A great breakfast spot. Make sure you arrive early and bring cash. It is very small inside so it gets crowded quickly, especially on the weekends. We enjoyed breakfast here one morning and the service was great. They are located in the Cove Inn lobby which is very convenient. A great local breakfast spot that is known for their delicious pancakes. I had the breakfast burrito with sausage and it was okay. One of the best parts about having breakfast here is being able to take your coffee to go. A very warm and homey atmosphere with a lot of history. I loved the table settings with a drawing of Naples with everything on the map. The location is right on the dock which is wonderful. Close to the pool as well. We stayed down the street but wanted to stop here because we heard it was a crowd favorite.

A great spot for a fast and great breakfast. A bit cramped on space but has the feel of an authentic diner, even though it's in a hotel. Make sure to bring cash as they don't take credit cards!

Great food, small place but they have a lot of people staffed which keeps service fast. Only complaint is cash only.

Best place for breakfast. Nothing fast about getting table but hanging with locals and drinking coffee on the outside deck make the wait worth while. Lorie the hostess is some where between the soup nazi character and Mom. More mom. She runs a tight ship and totally fair on seating. If your willing to take a seat at the breakfast bar you may be seated earlier. This is a treat in it self. Eggs Napoilie. Cooked no where else. Hash Browns great. So is corn beef hash. Stop readin go NOW!!

Best little breakfast spot in Old Naples. Best pancakes I have ever had anywhere. Hashbrown are well prepared with cheese if you like. Great little breakfast menu where everything is excellent. Waitresses are all great and have been there forever. Owner is usually there every day. Cash only and only open until 1:30. Worth a trip.

BTW, I am married to a Caucasian, 36 years now, so no offense. He also agrees with me. So many other choices in Nap town now, better breakfasts for the money elsewhere, do your research. Meanwhile... to each their own.

Best breakfast food we've had in Naples. The attitude that comes with the service is oddly amusing.

I was in town for a conference and was looking for a great local food joint. I stayed across town at the Ritz (courtesy of wife's company) but it was worth the 25 minute drive to eat at this gem. Most importantly, this is a cash only place. If you're staying at the hotel, you can charge it to your room. Secondly, this isn't a high class fancy place, it's a local breakfast diner- and it excels at that. I came in, ordered and ate within a half hour. It was quick and delicious. I recommended the strawberry topping for your pancakes!

Great place for b-fast. Sit at the bar if you want to watch just how much food 2 people can get out of an itty bitty area. Amazing!! Super friendly staff.

Just stayed at the Cove Inn and went here for breakfast each day. Awesome fresh squeezed orange juice, well prepared eggs and excellent hash browns. Finely shredded, crispy big rounds of potatoes. No greasy lumps here! One day I got their pancakes which also were excellent. Thin almost crepe like and very light. AND they didn't repeat on me all day long! Nothing fancy and they only take cash so just plan ahead. Seems to be a very popular place for locals, along with us tourists staying at the Cove Inn. It's making me hungry just writing this!! I would return in a heartbeat.

Best breakfast in Old Naples. Check it out and you will not be disappointed by its comfortable ambience or great food. We have had breakfast here for many years and love this place. BTW, I have all my teeth, as well as two post-graduate degrees and love our multicultural society.

Love it here - my favorite breakfast place in Naples. Best pancakes west of the Golden Gate in Vegas. If you love diner food and a very casual atmosphere, then this is your place.

Classic "Dive" restaurant for a solid diner breakfasts. Thin Swedish-style pancakes, chipped beef with toast points, and classic egg combination breakfasts. Everything was delicious.

Discovered this place 2 years ago. Our favorite breakfast place in Naples. Try the eggs Napoli style. They serve real maple syrup with their pancakes too. Mmmmmm. Service is fast. It's fun to sit at the counter and watch the grill guy do his magic.

This is a Unique and very Special Dinner experience .... set in an wonderful Florida eclectic hotel on Naples Bay framed by Sailboats and Yachts. Breakfast and Lunch ...all ages welcome! Perfect! My personal favorite is the Pancakes .... Large, Thin, Flavorful cooked on an old style hot griddle. There are tables.... but you can sit at a counter three feet from the action and watch the Griddle Chefs at work. Omelettes to sandwiches, amazing food is created by these short order experts. All of this is surrounded by photographs of State and World Champion Naples Girls Fast pitch softball teams. A throw back from the heart of America. A must to experience.
