In town visiting my college daughter, we found this Sushi Restaurant by accident. The food it great!!! Sushi rolls are very big portions and very delish!!! I later saw other reviews people complaining, however I found the rolls were very large and garnished to perfection. I would return here again, however, they need to improve on the service big time. We entered and waited to be seated 4 - 5 minutes, after finding an employee, we were instructed to seat ourselves. We waited for our server who was literally running through the restaurant. Ok, It must be busy right? No,every table was dirty, except the one we sat. They must have had a hell of a night. Finally the server came to the table with menus, we tried to order drinks, but he dropped the menus and ran.. When he returned and apologized a trillion times, He took our drink order, we tried to explain we were also ready to order, but he ran to get the water. Finally he took our order, my daughter and her friend ordered sushi, I ordered an entree, which came with miso soup and a traditional ginger dressing salad. He delivered the sushi in no time flat. I waited for my soup, salad and Teriyaki chicken for an additional 10 minutes. Of course the girls were finished with the sushi, and here he comes with my soup, salad and entree all at the same time. I am not sure he should be serving, due to his lack of any service skills and there was a huge language barrier. He apologized and explained that he was a cook, and it was his first night as a server. Bingo!!!! Anyway, if you are in town or looking for a good sushi place, I recommend giving them a try.

Been a regular on a weekly base at club sushi for over 12 years. This place managed to run itself in to the ground from A-Z. From top notch fun with good quality sushi to a local dive you hardly get served. Overpriced, horrible service and not even medium food quality anymore. Its not 1995 anymore many better places to choose from.

This place is a complete rip off. $82 for 14 pieces of sashimi. Did she have already left to go to SushiOne. Not sure why they would raise the prices when the food is worse.

Awesome Teriyaki Tuna Bento box for lunch today! Perfectly rare Tuna, in a slightly sweet savory sauce. Crispy veggies and excellent rice. Miso soup was flavorful, without being salty, with seaweed and tofu. Side salad had a garlicky miso dressing that I ended up drinking since it was so tasty. Even the fruit cup was artfully done perfectly ripe combo of watermelon, pineapple, canteloupe and blueberries. Will definitely do this again!

In a word, yuck!. The sushi was very poorly made and fell apart as soon as my chopsticks touched it. The seaweed salad was drowned in dressing and almost uneatable. They went creative with something called The Volcano which was just disgusting. Oh yeah, and overpriced.

This is by far my least favorite sushi place in town. The ambiance is nice, but the food is constantly disappointing and now wildly over priced..for example;$20 for spicy tuna and fried "white fish" is just silly. My most recent experience was my worst, while having a drink at the bar behind - Harold's Place - I ordered some sushi togo. First of all they forgot one of the items I ordered and payed for( grrrr..) and the other two rolls were pity full and tasted as if they been pre-made days before. That my friends was my final attempt, there are several much better options in town..

This restaurant is a part of Fujiyama Steakhouse of Japan. When you enter from the hotel,... you have a choice of going into the door on the left for cooked food.... or the door on the right for Club sushi. Club sushi has a pretty good sized sushi bar. The rolls are basic and offer soy wrappers if you don't want seaweed. Don't expect a ton of creativity when it comes to the rolls but from what I could see, the rolls were popular with the patrons. BEWARE. The sashimi is NOT traditional in the way it's cut. This is the LARGEST cuts of sashimi I have ever seen. I think it's too big. Each piece of fish is 2x the size of what you'd get at any of Masaharu Morimoto's restaurants. And you don't get just 2 slices... you get like... 6 slices/ hunks of fish per order. I was bummed that our server didn't warn us about over ordering. At the top of the menu it actually advises you to consult with your server about the portions. Bastards didn't say anything to me when I ordered 5 orders of sashimi, a roll, and an appetizer for me and a friend. Heck, normally 5 orders of sashimi is reasonable... but had I known the slices were so damn big, I would not have spent so much money on food that went to waste. There is no choice in sake. You have hot sake. You have cold sake. They're probably using the same sake for both. Go for the Bonny Doon Riesling instead. It's never good when your BARTENDER tells you she doesn't like sake. Really? Did you just say that to me in a sushi restaurant? You SUCK. The service was friendly but not helpful. The fish was fresh but the portion was stupid. If you are craving raw fish and want to bite into a giant hunk of fish like a bear, come here. There's nothing elegant about this place. But sometimes simple and stupid is all you want.

My favorite local sushi place. Tuesday night is sushi pizza (just ask). Ask about the specials since they are not on the menu. I love the grilled salmon appetizer! Portions are big and yummy!

Allison thanks for saving me the trouble to write this review. But this sushi place is not the best by any means!

I was not really impressed by this place at all. First off, when I walk into a sushi bar, if there are not at least 2 people yelling "IRASSHAIMASE!" then the experience is already not off to a great start. The first roll we ordered was the spicy tuna roll. It was literally a piece of cheap big-eye (my guess as it was so-so in taste and quality) tuna with some hot sauce spooned into the roll. It was ok, but I equated it to the sushi that they make and sell your local grocery store. The second roll was simply a shrimp tempura roll that was ok. Nothing stood out on either end of the spectrum here. I find it hard to mess up a tempura anything. I had also ordered an unagi and hamachi sushi. I understand that it takes a minute for unagi as it has to be cooked, but we literally waited long enough for the man to go catch the damn eel. At one point, I asked the lady to bring me the check, and if the sushi wasn't already being made, to please just take it off the check. By that time, he was cutting the yellowtail, and plating, so I got the sushi. As stated in other reviews, the sushi portions are 2 to 3 times the size that you would be used to. The yellowtail was ok. The unagi a little bit better, but because of the size, and the fact that it was cooked, the whole thing fell apart on me. In the end, the sushi was nothing special at all and the experience was not even up to par. Our sushi chef spent a large portion of the time speaking to the woman next to me in spanish rather than making our sushi. They spent the entire time talking about Latino food and swapping recipes (and phone numbers). In the end, the chef next to him made our sushi while he chatted with the lady. I noticed as I paid the bill, that he was actually the "executive chef" Roy. I'd expect more from an executive chef than moving around at a snails pace and completely disregarding the food he is making just to hold a random conversation. Every sushi chef that I've ever met can do both at the same time. And again, as I leave a sushi bar, there is nothing better than hearing the entire line yelling "ARIGATO GOZAIMASHITA!!" in unison, which, of course, did not happen. So, it ended the same way it began, with utter disappointment. I'm new to the area, so I can't say for sure, but I'd have to imagine that there are plenty of other sushi places that you'd be better off going to.

Allison's review is pretty spot on. I call this place 'truck stop' Sushi. Portions are huge - once you know that ordering gets easier and much less expensive. Server also told us she didn't like sake - LOL.

Not the best sushi but people seem to like it. It could use an overhaul inside.
