The usual Chipotle experience. Consistent with other locations in the chain. Food is local (or as local as a chain get be), fresh, and delicious. No complaints, but nothing that wowed me enough in my dozen times being here to say it deserves five stars. Having said that, four for you, Chipotle.

Great food at great prices! Tex-mex is impossible to find in naples... So chipotle is our lifesaver!

How come Chipolte in Naples is so horrible! Tonight we went there - food was blah- no taste of herbs or lime. Mild salsa was bubbling (old), lemons were old, women's bathroom was closed due to maintenance issues, men's room was disgusting - gang grafitti all over back of door, paper all over floor and smelled of urine. employess were fooling around, no onions & peppers in bin & none cooking. This place is usually freezing - so cold...it's like sitting in a ice arena. Where is the management at this place?? What a horrible representation of Chipolte at upscale Mercato!!! Nasty workers --- get rid of them all!!! I just don't get it......wake up Chipolte!!!!

Chipotle is one of my favorites. I eat at many different chipotle restaurants but this store has got to be one of my least favorite. The staff was unfriendly and rude. I got a chicken bowl here and they gave me about a spoonful of rice and chicken. When I asked for more, the person just glared at me. Love the food. Hate the service. My first and last time at this Naples location. Thank the burrito gods they are opening one in Fort Myers.

The high marks are because of the vegetarian options and that the food is non GMO. They also offer white and brown rice. Food tastes good and expected to cost a little more because of the quality.

My favorite fast food place for Mexican food! I know you can't really call it authentic, but all of the ingredients are prepared fresh! I definitely think that's worth something in the fast food world now a days. They give you huge portions, so you never have to worry about leaving hungry. I would recommend getting a burrito bowl. Then order a tortilla on the side (It's FREE!). Then you can pile on a bunch of extra ingredients and make your own burrito at your table. It's soooo much food, ugh! If you're going to order guacamole, I would recommend getting it on the side. I swear they give you more when you order on the side, then in included in your bowl. Watch out for various BOGO coupons floating around on social media websites. I love Chipotle!!!

Fresh Ingredients. Simple Menu. Tasty Barbacoa. Ease of ordering. Great venue. One of the only places that gets their sweet tea right (or let alone even serves sweet iced tea.) Only negatives: Parking is atrocious in their area of the Mercato. You're dealing with a parking lot where the majority of spots are taken over by surrounding restaurants who have reserved half of the lot for valet. I recommend this place for quality of food way more than the mexican restaurant further into the Mercato.

This is one of my favorite places to grab lunch. Sadly I live in Bonita Springs so it's not too close so I only visit on weekends or on rare occurrences during the week. Definitely a great place to stop in. They are always fast!

Love this place. All natural chicken, fresh veggies and salsa. All for a reasonable price. Their service is good too!

Stopped in for a quick steak salad bowl with a beans, rice, salsa, and a generous dollup of guacamole. Good eats!

I've eaten at Chipotle for a number of years now and I've kept silent about my experiences at their many venues...that is...until now. First the good news: no matter what city or location I've dined in, it's always been the hallmark of consistency. Fresh, predictable, bespoke meals that even a picky vegan like me can appreciate. Now for the rationale behind the 2 stars. With heavy competition in the fast food/tex-mex marketplace (think Moe's, Tijuana Flats, Baja Grille, Baja Cantina, Chili's, etc.), Chipotle consistently misses the mark for one big reason: THEY NICKLE AND DIME THE CONSUMER TO DEATH ON THE SILLIEST THINGS! Specifically: I'm referring to salsa, chips, sour cream, etc. Everything that the other players in this space offer as complimentary items, Chipotle charges for. Moes - you want chips...here you go. You finished and want more...no problem...have some more free of charge. Salsa? No worries...fill your drink cup up with five different types and come back for more. Heck...Tijuana Flats has over a dozen different types of sauces and they encourage you to take as much as you want. Heck, I'm surprised that Chipotle doesn't charge for napkins, forks and knives. The way in which they govern themselves is akin to McDonalds or Burger King charging for Ketchup on their fries. After tonight's meal - despite it tasting delicious - I'm through. And more importantly, I'm on a mission to find out why I seem to be the only one who feels this way. Any comments?

I have no idea why this location has so many bad reviews. It was fresh and fast and the portions were huge. I love Chipotle in general and moved to a town without one - so very pleased to have a great meal here. They could use a trash can in the women's bathroom though - WTF?

The people who work here now are so mediocre. I feel like the management has gone out of the window and so has the employee training in the last 6 months. The line is always cutting corners and giving less than what Chipotle is supposed to for portions. Compared to Chipotles around the country, portions at this Mercado location are exceptionally smaller. I can't tell you how many times I have asked for double chicken only to receive one scoop plus an extra 1/4 spoonful. I then have to ask, "Isn't double chicken two scoops?" They then stare blankly at me and reluctantly add the full scoop they are SUPPOSED to add. This same goes for rice, beans, and guacamole. When the line gets long, which it nearly always is at lunch and dinner time at this location, line workers seem inefficient: bins are left empty of food and toppings, likely because the cooks aren't aware of when to begin to cooking, which is probably due to a lack of communication or management; portions at this time are even smaller than other times. Many times my friends and I have to ask for double meat just to receive a standard portion -- luckily they are swamped so they fail to let the cashier know of the double meat order. Also, be prepared for a language barrier, you practically have to speak Spanish to order there now. I love spanish speakers and the language itself, but when you are hiring workers, make sure they can coherently speak english in addition their native language. On top of the shoddy english, many of the employees speak under their breath and fail to listen to customer requests. "What?," "I'm sorry?," and order reminders come out far too often from the mouths of customers next to me. Luckily the quality control of the company itself is why I keep coming back. The food is delicious, there is no denying it. But that isn't because of the labor force here, it is because of corporate. So, please Mercado Chipotle, tighten up the ship. When this location opened, the absolute friendliest and efficient employees worked there. The most important thing they ever did, the manger at the time told me, was place THEMSELVES in the customer position and imagine how they would want their service to be and it showed in the results.

Chipotle has the best burritos. There menu is very limited. Pretty much burrito, burrito with no wrap in a bowl, or tacos are your options. I think you might be able to talk them into a quesadilla. As far as sides you can get some chips with salsa or guacamole. It is super hard to get a parking spot, and the seating inside can fill up quick if it's busy.

  • Chris H.

I love Chipotle. Tip - instead of getting a burrito, go for the burrito bowl and ask for the tortilla on the side. This way, you get about twice as much food at the same price and have enough left to take home for a second meal.

It was amateur hour. I've never seen a more inefficiently run place. "By all means, move at a glacial pace. You know how it thrills me."

Tried it again as I was dragged back by my hubby and desperate for a quick meal after shopping at Whole Foods. This time got the veggie corn tortillas, veggies were basically green peppers (not my fav), white onions, luck to find one red pepper. Are those officially veggies? Wish they had tofu. Again, the salsa medium and mild didn't have much taste. There is no melted cheese, only shredded. Even the Guacamole was blah. Still want to know why people like this place? Not cheap either. ;(

Let me start by saying I'm a big fan of Chipotle and have been a regular since I lived in Columbus, Ohio. Unfortunately, this location has had some opportunities. I have contacted the home office twice to voice my disappointment. Tonight's miss, takes the cake or cheese in this matter. The restaurant did not have any cheese (a key ingredient) and have not served cheese since last Thursday, five days. This is at least what I was told. Their electric grater is broken and they are waiting on a replacement. May I make a suggestion, purchase a manual unit, Sur La Table is right across the street. Look both ways before you cross. I realize manpower will cut into the profits, but so will guests not returning, big picture. This review is specific to tonight's visit and I hope that management can show a little more leadership in the future.

Fresh and fast, si!. The eating area in this self service place is immacuate and pared down to the simple function of eating & running. The line was out the door on this holiday weekend evening, but the staff was hustling and definitely keeping up with the orders. Fedearl Immigration has been hounding Chipotle across the nation for using illegal employees. There's a weird irony in a locavore Mexican restaurant allegedly hiring undocumented workers, so I hope this resto makes all that expensive attention go away soon. In contrast, the newly opened Chipotle in Naples shows a diversely multicultural staff at the food line, including a good mix of both men and women employees. Great business model. Fabulous fast food.

I was so excited to finally have a Chipotle in the area. I have moved all over for work, and always loved chipotle, as a "It's always fresh and pretty consistent" kind of place. With that said, there is just something about this location that misses the mark. The portions seemed smaller than what I am used to from chipotle, and I always order the same thing. The staff seems inattentive, and slow to prepare your food. Also the seating layout seems poorly planned in comparison to most of the other locations I've been to. Not a huge deal, but it's just another point that adds up to this location missing the mark. If you've never had Chipotle, I'd recommend the Barbacoa. Always been my favorite there.

Good, but not great. The food is great, but they're usually too busy to bother with customer service.

There is a reason this place is always crowded! Fresh ingredients, quality meat and large portions. Location is great too. Medium salsa seems homemade and its delicious. I recommend it to all friends who say they like Moe's. You'll leave here full and have spent maybe $10. Cant really beat this. Only reason I'm not giving the full 5 stars is compared to other places like it the menu and ingredient options are a bit limited.

"But you Promised" shrieked Bunny, as her face contorted with rage. You said we could go to Chipotle Mexican Grill for dinner tonight and now you broke your promise. I LOVE the veggie burrito bowl now I got to eat some other crap instead she stomped. Trembling, Simon said softly, "I'm sorry Bunny", but Mom's so sick and Chipotle's food gives me gas. It tastes frozen, the chips are soggy and frankly it's a long drive and I'm tired. Don't you understand he whined? "NO!" I hate you! Either we go to Chipotle or I'm getting a flaming FSU logo tattooed where only my boyfriend can see it!

If you not tried Chipotle Mexican Grille, you're in for a treat. Fresh food and never frozen. Each location looks for local resources for all their products so the taste is unlike any fast food restaurant. The menu is simple, the staff is friendly and well-trained and the food will explode with excitement in your mouth!

a True Mexican Grill, delicious food with top notch ingredients. Since opening this place has always been packed which is a sign of the quality of the food and the happiness of the patrons. Many like myself are frequent repeat clients. Thanks again for opening one in Southwest Florida. There's even a facebook fan page that was created requesting they build one in southwest florida and now the page honors them for the awesome food. facebook.com/home.php?sk…

On a fast food scale, what's not to like about Chipotle? You know what you're getting....literally. They make it a point to tell you that the chicken and meats are NON-GMO.....hormone free. Now a days I think that is really important. You watch their every move as you tell them exactly what to add. This place is what I would call KISS!..... Keep It Simple ..... Not many ingredients but tons of flavor. Even though Chipotle was once owned by McDonalds, they are complete opposite ends of the spectrum. I guess with McDonalds you kind of know what you're getting too.....Pink Sludge.

After reading a few bad reviews on yelp for this chipotle, I have to leave a review...as I had a wonderful FIRST experience at this location. I took a few minutes to read the menu decided to do carnitas (shredded pork) tacos. My boyfriend orders first in line, as it was my first visit and didn't want to order first...I order and the first thing the girl asks is hard or soft tacos! Soft please! Didn't know I was gonna get the choice, figured they'd be hard shells. So initially I ordered carnitas, but when we got to the meat choice she asked me again what I wanted, weird but whatever, so I changed my mind. They have something here called barbacoa, it's a seasoned shredded beef. Has a sort of mojo-ish, sweet and tangy taste...awesome!! Got the majority of the toppings at the topping bar, as the pickins are slim. But still good!! Bc my boyfriend ordered first he got to the register first but still paid for mine before my order was complete. Asked for a side of salsa after he got rung up and got it for free, but no chips at least they gave my bf chips for the (epic!) guacamole. The food was amazing, super messy, but so great!! We ate in and enjoyed the view through the giant glass windows, seeing all the comings and goings. Service was decent, minimal interaction, which was fine with me. All around good first experience and I will definitely be back.

First time going there and heard great things. Ordered my food, and it tasted fabulous, the only thing was that it was to go,and I order 3 tacos so,they put all three tacos in aluminum foil and wrapped it. It was messy but it tasted it great. I see what separates them from Taco Ardiente & Moe's.

I don't know what others experienced but we loved it. Ran it at 9:58 knowing they closed at 10 hoping they would still serve us and they did. Not only did they serve us but they did it with a smile and a great attitude and allowed us to take our time. Loved the food- I love chipotle in general. Anyway loved them! Thanks guys!!!

I am a big fan of chipotle. It is a great place to go for some "fastfood" without the guilt afterwards. Everything is fresh and the products used are nature friendly. The whole concept is easy with a basic menu of Bowl, Burrito(My absolute Favorite) or tacos. Then choose rice, beans, meat, salsa, cheese, sour cream, lettuce and as a finishing touch guacamole. Finish it of with some chips and are done! I absolutely love this place it is good and wholesome. The people are always friendly and helpful. I try to come here at least once a week, I just can't get enough of it. Like other reviewers said the only down side is the parking. The lot in front of the store is very busy. Try parking around whole foods or even better park in the garage and enjoy the lovely mercato environment while walking.

These guys are always really stingy on their portions. Example: I went in today for a burrito with chicken and rice only--no beans or other 'expensive' condiments that are typically included in the price. The chicken was on the light side--definitely not the four ounces it was supposed to be. I comment, "the chicken seems to be a little light." The server (who at this point is aware that all I'm ordering on my burrito is the chicken and rice) argues that I'm wrong and that it's appropriately sized. Even if I *was* wrong (which I wasn't), the proper response is to joke something about giving some bonus chicken this time to substitute for the beans, and then you have a happy customer who feels like a special exception was made for them. Lunch for two--at basically a fast food joint--came to $18. (Yes, we were both "light" on chicken.) And, I leave feeling the way that I should never be left feeling: ripped off.

I went to this Chipolte twice this past week, and received deplorable service on both occasions. The workers are extremely unfriendly and make you feel like they are doing you a favor by serving you. They will not, no matter what, go out of there way to accommodate you. I came last Thursday and asked for a quesadilla, the girl rolled it first then folded it and tried bagging it without actually cooking/pressing it. She had to ask two other servers how to make a quesadilla. On top of this, she was exceptionally cheap with the chicken. Today, the first server actually knew how to make the quesadilla, however, she was even cheaper with the chicken, to the point where I had to ask her to put more on...Considering the item only consists of cheese and chicken, they should be a little more generous. Through all of my contact with this Chipolte the servers have been exceptionally unfriendly. Today's cashier was the last straw, he refused to cut/slice the quesadilla, he told me Chipolte workers cannot use knives as they were sued recently when a worker sliced his fingers...Does that make sense??? Does this mean that all workers in the food industry can no longer use shape utensils, as companies will face being sued if they cut themselves? Ridiculous! (and to add insult to injury, when I asked for a knife and napkins he rolled his eyes and pointed his finger towards the take out area). I hate this place!

I got what I typically get. A chicken Burrito, it was very good, had rice and cheese on. I like my Burrito nice and simple. I only gave it 4 stars because, thjs may sound silly but they didn't wrap my Burrito like a Burrito should be wrapped, thats the only thing that got me but keep up the excellent service and I will definitely be back again!

Food was good as usual but what I seen today was a little.....well gross. 2 of the girls working were eating fresh chips out of the container before they went to bags. The issue is they were doing it with bare hands, yet when the one started bagging they use gloves. I witnessed them going from the line to getting drinks to eating chips to sweeping the floor (with gloves on??)

I love the new fresh Sofrito tofu protein topping. Add a side of guacamole and you got a delicious meal

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
