When I write a review, I base it on several things....of course the taste and quality of the food is important, but there are other factors. To start, I did like the food here. It wasn't great, but it was good. Here's why I liked this place, when I walked in the door to pick up my food, I could tell it was family run. What may have been the dad was in the kitchen cooking. I was greeted by the mom, and her 2 little daughters were running the front counter. The little girl was probably 5 or 6, and she knew how to work the credit card machine, cash register, and seemed to be good with numbers. I gave her an extra tip. When I got home and ate the food, I could tell the ingredients were good, and it wasn't filled with junk or over flavored with bad ingredients. The leftovers were good too. I would go back.

I love this place. I found this place because of the reviews. There food is always good. It takes a little longer to be done. But what do you expect. Most of the time the owner is cutting the vegetables in the back. I always ask to make my order extra extra spicy. And this is the first place in town that comes relatively close to how I like it. There menu is the same as you would see in most places. In general this place is worth four stars. The reason I gave it five is because of the young family that runs the place. It is a couple with two little girls. And they run the place without personnel. It is impressive how hard they work. Definitely give this place a try!!

We've been looking for a new Chinese restaurant since moving to Florida. All the places we tried have been sub par. This place we decided to try after finding it here on Yelp. It was surprisingly good. The seafood soup was exceptionally delicious! This is a family owned restaurant. It is mostly good for take out. It has a small dining room with about four tables. I dined in with my wife and three young children. The customer service was great and very accommodating (although I would not recommend dining in because they are not really equipped for dine in service with silverware and dishes and such). We'll give it a try again in a few weeks and I'll post an update!

I wouldn't recommend this place for delivery. They couldn't understand me when I was trying to give my address. And then he ended up saying he was going to have someone else who spoke better English to call me back. Not impressive.

Excellent fresh Chinese food with generous portions. The General Tso's chicken is deliciously prepared. Every dish we've had is really good. The service is very friendly. You can even order online and our carry out order was ready when we walked through the door. Reasonable prices.

Very best chinese food in Naples. Food is amazingly fresh and tasteful. It's really hard to impress me with take-out but we will be regulars at this place. The family who is running it is very sweet. Please keep up the good work and keep using the fresh ingredients. I mean, where do you find a Chinese place actually using real orange peel in the orange chicken? Wow!! And very generous servings too. Be ready to enjoy the leftovers the next day!

Dined here on Christmas Day after reading good reviews. We were the only ones here when we arrived, service was very slow. Took over a half hour to get our food. Food was cold and not good quality. Very disappointed, would not recommend.

Stopped by today at China Chef for our first time after shopping around the area. We ordered two lunch specials; General Tao's Chicken and Shrimps with Lobster Sauce, both with the fried rice and the hot and sour soup. The food was freshly prepared and it took about 10 minutes. The food smelled fantastic and they all tasted very good. There was a very generous serving of General Tao's Chicken and there were five very large shrimps in the Shrimps with Lobster Sauce. I am always very picky about the shrimps in any seafood dishes and am often disappointed with the size, number and texture of shrimps from the restaurants. However, I was very impressed with the shrimps in my order today from China Chef; the shrimps tasted very fresh and crunchy. The hot and sour soup was tasty, it had regular fresh white mushrooms in it that i didn't expect. The fried rice was just ok, nothing special. For the price of the lunch specials, we will be back for sure. Great food for the money.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
