Terrific grouper. Terrific shrimp and crab stuffing. High-quality vegetable medley. Great presentation of their meals... Whipped potatoes look great but lacked flavor. Really cool setting and locals vibe, if you can handle the mosquitoes. Housemaid everything. Highly recommended and to be an annual trip for us. True fish camps can't be beat and this is one.

Fresh seafood in Capri! Good portions and the staff are all family so they work in unison. Food arrived pretty quickly and everything was fresh. Enjoyed the outdoor seating although I was eaten alive. Will come back during the day time to see the view

Poor dining experience. The service was terrible. Waited over 45 minutes for our food and the place was maybe 25% full. The food was underwhelming as well. So many good options in the Capri/Marco area, skip this one.

Took 45 minutes to get the food. Small portion and just okay overall. Would not recommend the place.

My friend didn't want to go out to dinner because she didn't want to get all fixed up and deal with the crowds in & around town. I thought of the Capri Fish House and it was the perfect solution. The music was very festive and soon we felt like we were watching the sunset on a tropical island. She had the grouper and I had the stuffed shrimp which was overflowing with fresh Florida crab (had trouble finding a breadcrumb). The vegetables were fresh and nicely presented. The service was friendly and attentive. You have to appreciate this restaurant has an island tiki-hut atmosphere. Because it is laid back doesn't mean its prices aren't going to be competitive with most restaurants in the Marco/Naples offering fresh seafood. Your sangria might even come in a plastic cup (wine is in glass) but it is prime real estate, you can shed all pretentiousness, relax and enjoy being feet from the water watching a beautiful sunset!

Spotted this place on yelp and saw that it had consistently good reviews and stopped in for dinner with a colleague. Split the fried calamari which was lightly batter and fried. Sauce was a bit sweet but good. Nice basket of fresh made bread came out as well. Ordered the jerk grouper which came with a house salad (bottled dressing) and two sides. The fish was quite large, fresh and well-seasoned. The vegetable side was huge and very fresh, sautéed with butter and herbs. The twice baked, whipped potatoes were very good. Service was very attentive and the setting, with the water only 10 feet away, was very relaxing. Very good restaurant and highly recommended.

We had a large party (10) that was looking for a nice place for dinner on our last night in the area. Given that it was the Saturday before Easter, we didn't think that we would be able to find somewhere with good food, good service, and a good atmosphere that could accommodate all of us without spending an arm and a leg. We called the restaurant hoping that they would take reservations. We were told that they didn't, but that there would be no problem seating us. There might be a wait, but we could have drinks on their beach and watch the sunset. We decided to give it a try and were very happy we did. We got there about 10 minutes before sunset and were able to sit and watch as the boats passed by, sitting on the beach with our drinks. It was really nice. At first, we were going to just eat at the tables in the sand, but then we were offered the choice to go into the tiki bar area, which we picked. The service was excellent and the food was very good, too. One I. Our group said that his fish salad was just OK and a bit dry, but everyone else really enjoyed their meals. This was our first time at this place, but we will definitely be back next time we are in the area.

The view!!! We came here looking for dinner & a sunset & were not disappointed. A musician played some reggae hits, we sipped on super cold Red Stripes and felt transported back to Jamaica. The service was great. We ordered the bouillabaisse for two, it was good.. Lobster was a little over cooked, but everything else was pretty delicious. All in all a wonderful evening! We look forward to returning.

Well they get one star for the bread rolls and being consistent. Consistently BAD! I ended up here again one night because it was the only place open. The food is outrageously overpriced and simply awful. It boggles my mind that they are still open! Please save yourself from a major disappointment and find anywhere else to eat.

The place is worn down. Food nothing special. 4 different parties had to ask the Serbian waiter for the Early-Bird-Special twice. Those deals should come automatically if you do attend within those hours. You shouldn't need to ask for it. We had the Grouper Sandwich which is supposed to be their signature dish. It is nothing more than an oversized Fish and Chips. USD 44.- for 2 sandwiches and 2 soft drinks is way too much. That was the special. Add another USD 10 if you come at normal dinner time. Then add the tip. If you are looking for a tourist trap that has already seen it's glory days, then this joint is for you. I add a point for being able to sit close to the docks overlooking the mangrove. If you are only looking for a water hole, then it's sufficient. One small thing. Only ONE bathroom that's mixed. You know what that means. Filthy, small and outdated.

You can sit on the beach, eat the best Gator of your life, and go for a swim while you wait for another Margarita. Really nothing to complain about here. This is the best kept secret in Naples!

  • Daniel S.

Pretty good food and the vibe was nice. It is not a beach view, it is a bay/river view. We had a pretty good Grouper Sandwich with onion rings. The music there was a real treat. The owners seem to be European and it had a really nice chill trance soundtrack that went well with the bay and the bar. Well done Capris!

"Toes in the water..." just like Zac Brown Band. We were offered a table sunk in the sand next to the already full, crowded, palapa covered patio, just before sunset. Surprisingly, there weren't any no-see-ums, those pesky, invisible sand critters that dine on you at dusk and dawn. I recommend that you take bug spray however, in case you want to be trouble free while eating outside here. This is a bar food kind of place. We had crispy fried shrimp accompanied by our choice of two sides. Passable french fries, and bland coleslaw arrived for me. I thought pricing was high at $23 for this"basket" selection that was served on a plate.. Service, however, was quick and pleasant. The Capri Fish House is a locals' and visitors' favorite alike because of its beachy, casual setting, and reliably fresh fish. Parking is in a small lot in front of the restaurant and along the street in front of the firehouse next door.

Way, way, way overpriced. We started with the seafood chowder and should have stopped there. The chowder was quite good. The Fisherman's Platter was not. Flavorless, overdone, and bland. The Shrimp Scampi was bland with almost no garlic. I had a very uninspired Bloody Mary. The service was also uninspired. Not bad just not cordial. I would not recommend this spot for anything but the chowder.

  • Michelle P.

Wow... Ted gives it a strong 4, which to me is a 5! Fish chowder was phenomenal.... Not fishy at all :-) Grouper sandwich was very good... Could use a bit better roll though but the onion rings were a nice touch. Paired with a Shock Top =Awesome!

  • Christopher E.

Service was excellent! Very accommodating with our orders. Food came out fast. Everything tasted so fresh. We started out with the shrimp cocktail and fried calamari. Tasted awesome. We had the seafood capri, blackened grouper, and chef's special. The seasoning and sauces were amazing. We finished the meal off with key lime and kaluah cheesecake which was homemade. Will definitely come back and reccomend to everyone!

Went after a round of golf. Reviews looked good. I was mistake. VERY OVER PRICED. To top it off the service was horrible. Place was not full. If I had a penny I would have left it as a tip. But I left the change. 35 cents. Then she is so clueless that she ask if the service was that bad. We tipped the bus boy &10 cause we saw him more often. Don't go waste of time.

Our go to get away from the world. The best view and grouper sandwiches in the area. Service can be slow so get a bottle of wine and watch the surf roll in and out.

  • Karen M.

Fantastic fried lobster, and the best fried grouper! Cute restaurant, with a tiny beach. The only problem is the owner needs to put signs up were you can dock your boat, we watched 4 frustrated boaters leave after driving back and forth looking for a place to dock. Also be prepared to open your wallet they are very pricey.

  • Ayse P.

Always a good time and good food! We always stop here when ever were in Marco. We usually have the early bird dinner specials (come before 5:45 pm) Drinks are reasonably priced too. The Key West atmosphere is very relaxing . They have live music from time to time which is always nice! The grouper is always great!! We'll definitely comeback ..as always!

  • David H.

Stopped by for lunch off season (June). Sat outdoors, right at the water's edge. Great casual outdoor dining. Grouper wrap was excellent. Fish seemed fresh. Onion rings were also great. For casual outdoor dining it's a nice island feel, I would recommend the Capri Fish House.

  • Kate C.

I was highly disappointed having dinner here. The calamari was sub par being undercooked, rubbery and under breaded. The filet came out overcooked and the lobster was beyond tasteless. Our server never checked on us and had very little personality. I had been there on vacation previously and enjoyed it much more back then. I will not be back. Overall we were charged too much and our server didn't care when I told him I was less than impressed. Will not be back.

We actually went since they also rent kayaks and canoes! We rented a double kayak for almost a full day!! It was just spectacular!! The staff is very friendly and cool at first we we arrived the guy who checked us in for the kayak saw that i didn't have any sunblock and actually gave me some(such a niche gesture) they kinda explained the whole map and we left we saw dolphins and actually stayed for a couple of hours in almost what it look like a private beach!

  • Kim H.

We have been here two times. I was a little leery of the service the first time, but thought we would come back a second time because the atmosphere was great. Well, this time our food was about a 7 out of 10, but we sat and sat waiting for our check. I went to the ladies room and saw our server sitting inside, eating dinner!! I could not believe it. No one else came to check on us. And it was only 8:40 pm! We had to go to the bar to get our check. I find that to be so rude and completely unacceptable. We will not be returning.

  • Jason H.

My family and I ate dinner outdoors so we could enjoy the sunset. The food was good, but our fried items seemed to be sitting in a pool of grease on the bottom of our plate. While we enjoyed the view, it was so hot that it made eating our dinner much less pleasant. Obviously, this is not the restaurant's fault, but some fans would have been a huge help. Service was good, though a little slow. I would go back, but not in the summer.

Recently spent a few days in Marco Island and visited this restaurant. The food was amazing! I ate the Stuffed Grouper and my parents had the mixed grille. These were early bird specials. They were fresh and beautifully prepared. The plate presentation is outstanding!

    (4)
  • Richard H.

The food was awesome and the location enviable. We chose to eat right on the beach! How often can you do that?!? The sunset was beautiful and the fish were jumping. I wish we had some mosquito repellant though after the sun went down.

  • Ron S.

This is a small place off the beaten track but worth the effort. It's not as famous as some of the other seafood joints on Marco but the food was definitely better than the "famous" place on Marco we went to. I ordered the Capri Catch which was broiled Mahi Mahi and it was cooked to perfection. It came with fries and mixed vegetables, that frankly you could tell came out of a frozen pouch. My wife ordered the grilled salmon off the Early Bird special menu and came with a delicious salsa that really complimented the salmon nicely. We enjoyed many libations at the bar as we watched the sun set. Do yourself a favor and avoid the Marco Madhouse by checking out Capri Fish House.

Best Greek salad ever, even if they ran out of olives and beets. Grouper on top was great! Seating was great on the beach. Would highly recommend this place.

  • Glenn T.

Way over priced and below average service. We won't be back. We expected a better experience but were very disappointed. I hate it when you get your salad 2 minutes before your entree and the server doesn't understand your displeasure. Frozen veggies and pre-cooked potatoes are the norm here and good luck getting what you ordered. My wife ordered broiled fish but got it fried. This place is obviously run by people who don't care about their customers or their product. Shame on you! Save some money and choose another establishment. They don't deserve your business. PS The icing on the cake was a local retiree releasing gas at the bar for the whole restaurant to hear. Real classy.

A We've dined at the Capri Fish House for years and it has always been good, but last night, Christmas Eve, was not what we have come to expect. The service has always been spotty, but last night it was brutal. Salads came out quickly and were fine as usual. Our shared appetizer of Oysters Rockefeller followed and were tasty. That's where the good times stopped. The service moved to geological time. When our entrees were finally delivered, they were not great, nor were they all delivered together. The lobster tails in the mixed grill and chef's special were so dried out that they couldn't be extracted from the shell. We complained and new tails, prepared properly came out 15 minutes later. The Italian Seafood Salad was delivered after the hot entrees but before the replacement lobster tails. We asked for grated Parmesan for the Chef's Special and that arrived with the replacement lobster tails. I ordered fried plantains as one of my sides but my mixed grill came with a potato. I complained and the plantains came out just after the replacement lobster tails. The atmosphere is fun and inviting as ever, but overall it was disappointing.

Great place if you're looking for on beach location. We sat probably 4 ft from the water, really good food perfect for everyone's pallet. Had variety, but not a big selection ,it worked out. Also last yr we came here to do some canoeing and hung our dollar there and it's still there this yr !!!! :)

This Isle of Capri bar/restaurant has on-sand dining and is adjacent to a kayak rental joint. Great place to hit after a morning on the water! It's fairly typical tiki bar fare, but it ain't bad, considering it's the Isle of Capri. The blackened grouper sammy was good and we had a double thumbs-up on the frog legs, too. Of course, the beers were frosty -- and when it comes right down to it,if they hit that bogey, all else tends to fall in place, right? Definitely a place to relax after a couple of hours of nature!

This was our 2nd trip to this hidden gem and we found the dollar bills we posted on the wall two years ago! The food and atmosphere are excellent. The service was competent but didn't add to the experience. We enjoyed three of their dinner specials...a great value! Mixed grill, a pasta dish and stuffed grouper - all we're great. The fried shrimp was excellent. We enjoyed the live performer as well. This is one of our favorite places to visit when we come to Marco. You'll love it!

    (5)

The food was tasteless and overpriced! The service was terrible! So many really good restaurants to eat at in Marco! Don't waste your time!!!!

DON'T GO. The only (and I mean the ONLY reason) to go here is the beautiful sunset. It is picture perfect and a great place to have something in a bottle not made by the kitchen and that does not require much customer service - because both are horrible. It was my birthday today and we went tonight. We thoroughly enjoyed the sunset. While the Manager was helpful with getting us a great table on the beach, that's where the service and food quality stopped. It took forever to get service, my mixed grill ($36!) was over cooked and cold and not to order. Since the server never came back to ask about our meals and if we needed anything, we had to go into the bar with the plate of food to send it back. Sending it back was a mistake as it took over 30 minutes for a new one to come out. Due to the biting insects that arrived after sunset, we (among other tables) retreated to a table inside where only I ate my birthday dinner (everyone else was long done at that point)...but wait for it...my son ordered a peanut butter pie for dessert and it had a 3-4 inch METAL STRIP baked INSIDE. It was some kind of heavy duty aluminum foil. Yikes! To boot, the only recourse they offered was to take the cost of the PB pie off of our bill as well as the bowl of fruit they gave me for my dessert. And, they automatically added in the tip. They still charged me for the entire mixed grill. The service and food were no where near what you should expect. Again, my opinion based on our experience (on my birthday no less)...DON'T GO

Based on a recommendation from our bellhop, we tried this place today. It's not fine dining by any means, but the food is delicious, the drinks aren't watered, the staff is friendly, and the portions are generous. Better half had grouper. I had snapper. Tender and delicious, fresh, well seasoned. Great key lime pie. Beautiful fresh, properly cooked vegetables. Could quibble on the salad, pretty basic and had been sitting on the plates in a fridge a bit too long. As I said, you're not going to think you're in a Michelin starred restaurant, but you can't go wrong if you want a healthy, delicious meal that tasted home made.

  • Brent D.

OK let me start by saying if you go / been here and you think the food is good. You were Drinking allot. This is by far one of the worst places i have ever been to. My food was over cooked. The vegetables are from a frozen bag. The Twice backed potatoes were preformed and re baked/burned in the oven. In short Food Bad Service Bad Price Way over priced. DO NOT GO HERE. I warned you. If you go don't drink and eat. Just eat. Then come back and tell us how it was.

Best grouper sandwich at the most relaxing waterfront location in the Marco Island area! Service is a little slow, but you're in Florida...that's OK!

  • Tracy H.

Love this place! Best seafood in the area and a cool, laid back atmosphere on the beach. Great happy hour deals, live music on weekends, and amazing sunsets. Love most of their fish dishes and their coconut shrimp, yum! Also a great lunch spot, grouper sandwich is great too. You can rent kayaks or ride your own boat or kayak directly to this place. I would highly recommend checking out this wonderful hidden gem on beautiful Isles of Capri! :)

  • Dan M.

Had a great lunch here after kayaking (with the neighboring kayak rental agency). The grouper sandwich is fantastic and the Sunday lunch buffet was a great deal - all you can eat with lots of different seafood options (I tried them all and all of them were tasty). The owners are extremely friendly and laid back. Live music and waterside dining, a great place to relax and take the time to enjoy your meal and those that you are with, what more could you ask for?

  • Ruth H.

Took a friend from "up north" with me today for lunch. Was very pleased with the food and the service. She had the grouper and loved it; I had a tuna sandwich and felt that it was the best that I've ever been served by a restaurant. The onion rings were a delicious treat; very light and delicious. My friend is planning on asking her family to return with her this week before their flight home. She wants to share the beautiful setting- and the good food- with them. Very happy that we stopped in!

  • Bob M.

Casual outdoor waterfront dining that did not dissapoint! Both the wife and I had the grouper basket. Portion size was generous and the service was attentive. Just a short drive from marco island and worth the trip. This was a saturday night with live music. We will be back!

    (4)
  • Mark G.

The fried grouper was really good but the broiled grouper was even better. It took some time for the food to arrive but I think it was because it was freshly made. Our server was very good - no complaints on service.

  • Clare V.

Great views but the food is nothing special and there is a limited number of non-fried items on the menu. It's a nice place to stop for a drink and a nice view while in Capri.

  • Elizabeth M.

Went here for dinner last night and loved it. The sautéed scallops are amazing, and the the fried seafood was so fresh! Great kids meal options and a great setting outside (inside not a much). Our kids played in the sand during our dessert (good key lime pie with fresh whipped cream)- overall delightful experience. Nthe chef was so nice to speak to also, he is Hairian and has been there for ears, has a place close to where our friends are and where our daughter spent her first few years. No wonder I liked e plantains so much!

One of our favorite spots! Love the grouper. Great, casual spot that I'm comfortable going to even when I'm alone. Great for families.

  • Michael L.

Don't let the 3 stars fool you: this place is very good. But, it is what it is: a beach restaurant. The grouper is always outstanding, as it should be, this is SW Florida. The Sunday buffet is a favorite.

Excellent buffet! Well worth the price!

This place was one of the worst places I have ever been to, in terms of quality, service and sanitation. Immediately after sitting down, I noticed that the glasses and plates had black smears on them that looked like somebody had been changing the oil in their car and then handling them. The service was HORRIBLE. You could tell our waiter forgot about us because we didn't see him for about 45 minutes and he never brought us our entrees. He came up to us and asked us how our food was, but we hadn't even had our salads yet. He kind of looked at us and then tried to play it off like he was right on schedule. One of our meals (shrimp) had spoiled and tasted like ammonia/bleach (a surefire way to tell that seafood has gone bad). The food that was edible was bland and just not good. The waiter never really apologized for the shrimp that we had no other option but to send back and tried to charge us for it despite the fact that we only ate one shrimp before realizing that it was rotten. I had stomach discomfort for most of the night due to the gross food.

  • C. M.

This was my first foray into alligator! The food was great and comes with a spectacular view and energizing live music. The owner came by our table and chatted for a bit. Although I'll certainly return, we found the tabs a little pricey for what we got and the service a bit off (one of my friends who was obviously in his 30's hounded for an ID when he ordered a beer; another of my guest's plates had to be returned to the kitchen since it wasn't completed before it was brought to our table)

    (4)
  • Bill B.

If you read all the reviews, you see a common theme. The food is quite good. I get the impression, the owner is the chef, and wanted to open a resturant becasue he liked to cook. The food was quite tasty and the presentation was great. The service left quite a bit to be desired. My wife and daughter ordered ranch dressing for their salads and got tatar sauce, and then we didn't see our waiter for 10 minutes to get it fixed. The prices are not low, but I felf the quality of the food warrented the price. The sunsets are incredible. If they could just do something about the servce (honestly it was pretty bad, our waiter looked like he could care less and didn't want to be there - we speculated that he was family), it would really make a big difference.

    (4)
  • Les S.

There is a lot to be said but I will start with the statement that the Grouper & Shrimp were the best my wife and I have ever had. It is a little pricey but fresh seafood is worth it. I don't know about the "full bar" but the margaritas my wife had were real, not frozen made from wine. True, this is not a "date night" restaurant but it has many features which can appeal to almost everyone. If you are outside at sunset you get a very nice view. 1) There is beach seating. We noticed that most of the "beachers" had small children who loved playing in the sand before and after their meal. 2) The screened Tiki Hut allows the feeling of outdoor eating with a minimum of insect bother and 3) there is indoor seating for those who wish it or for inclement weather. A word or two of warning. The food comes very hot but, when outdoors, the breeze cools it quickly. So, if you are finicky about the food temperature and eat slowly, opt for indoor eating. Much has been mentioned about it not being "clean". I did not look indoors so I cannot speak to that but outdoor eating is never going to be spotless. I felt it was just fine. Also, there has been a lot said about slow service. I found this not to be true in our case. The restaurant was extremely busy and so we did wait a while, but we did not feel this was unusually so. There is a full menu for those who are not seafood enthusiasts, but why come to a fish house to eat something not from the sea? My wife and I will return and we intend to try the fish house which is next door, as well.

My family and I ate here while vacationing in Marco. I wanted to get away from the touristy eating establishments on Marco and this place delivers. Food was excellent, service was good and the atmosphere was perfect.

  • Josh T.

I love the fact that this place is a bit off of the main drag. The sunsets are beautiful! The food was very good and I would have given it 5 stars if not for the service. I must say that it is a bit slow and disorganized for some reason. I was there about a month ago and I unfortunately do not remember exactly what I ordered. Before you leave Marco, check this place out!

    (4)
  • Nick C.

Prices too high. $20+ for dinner. Early bird more reasonable. Service slow.

    (3)
  • David D.

Nice setting, on the water. The service was disjointed to say the least, but the food mostly made up for this shortcoming. The chicken wings were the best i have had in SW Florida, the black bean soup was outstanding. The cheeseburger I had was a little bit of a let down, I ordered it medium rare, and it came out well done, but juicy. Definitely will try this again, but I will try something else besides the burger.

Their seafood chowder was delicious and loaded with chunks of fish.

Great relaxed atmosphere where you can sit out on the water, and Sunday buffet is a good deal. Even better is the free boat rides you can take at sunset or for a day trip to Keewaydin Island! Such nice owners/staff!

Wow...they sure worked hard to accommodate a large party of nine that wanted to sit outdoors and enjoy the live music--an old "burnout" playing his guitar and singing tunes everyone knows. The owner/host was exceptional and ready to do anything he had to to please us. There's no hard liquor served here, just beer and wine and frozen drinks made to taste like margaritas made from wine. There were no decent reds on the wine list. The list is very limited, so we settled on the Frei Brothers Chardonnay and were pleasantly surprised that it wasn't terrible based on the price. The service was very good as was most of the food. Those of us who ordered grouper prepared blackened or Jerk-style were most happy. The grouper was delicious and perfectly seasoned. The sides that accompanied the meal were also quite tasty. The twice-baked potatoes were wonderful and the fresh veggies were perfect. Don't order the black beans. Other notable choices were the seafood pasta--split in two, the order was delicious and still too much to eat. The crab stuffed fish was also very, very enjoyable. Two of nine in our party thought their fish was overlooked to the point of being dry. Those ordering French fries noted that they were cold. We also didn't care for the coconut shrimp appetizer. We would all recommend this place based on the owner being so accommodating, and stick to the menu items that we know are delicious. This is a very casual, fun place, and the owner tried very hard to make sure that we were satisfied.

We had our wedding reception at the Capri Fish House and could not have imagined a better experience for our reception than at the fish house. We had to organized our wedding from overseas and Mike & Theresa (owners) were amazingly accommodating of our requests and wishes. The Capri fish house provided the boat transportation to a deserted beach for the entire wedding party, providing snacks and drinks on the trip over as well. They also provided logistics to get the officiant and wedding company over to the beach as well. When the boats returned to the dock and Tiki hut at the restaurant, all of us where surprised by the beautiful decoration of the straw hut and private adjacent beach. It was amazing how well Theresa and her family/team turned a normal keys grill/bar into a beautiful reception space. We had been to the Fish house numerous times over the years due to the great food, and they did not disappoint this time as well. We had a buffet with a mix of seafood, pasta and meat as well as standing appetizers and some tasty pastry deserts (home made by Theresa herself). All in all, if you want to have a dream beach wedding in a casual florida island setting, skip anything on Marco Island and look into the Capri Fish House.

We went to Capri Fish House with a party of ten tonight. We were seated immediately and our drink orders were taken. When the food arrived everything was perfectly prepared and everyone was very pleased with their dinner. We would definitely return again.

We loved this place when visiting a few months ago so were excited to come back with family...unfortunately, the food was only so-so and the service/wait horrible! Plus it was overpriced. The kids were served first which in theory is great, but when the wait for our food was so long the kids were all done eating before we started...it's a problem! Plus one order was wrong and when asked nothing was corrected or acknowledged. I'd give them another chance but not with a group and I wouldn't recommend to friends for fear they'd have an experience like we did the other day.

The ambiance is great. I love the out of the way "Carribean Isle" feel. Feet on the sand and delicious lunch menu. On Sundays there is a buffet that is reasonable. Reasonable prices. Just nice out of the usual chaos of life. There is inside a Tiki bar and tables;however, I prefer outside on the sand and in the sunshine.

By car, or by boat, this is my go-to place for a fried grouper sandwich and onion rings. The chickee bar is a great place to sit by the water and decompress with a cold beer. Definately puts me in my 'happy place' when visiting Marco Island.

  • Jen B.

Decorated in Tiki hut style. Clean bathroom. Soft sand on beach. Some interesting dishes on the grill menu as well as standard seafood/grill food dishes. Limited boat slips for docking, but we were navigated in by dock attendant just fine. Was slow time of year when we went, but could see their dock could get full quickly.

Casual outdoor waterfront dining that did not dissapoint! Both the wife and I had the grouper basket. Portion size was generous and the service was attentive. Just a short drive from marco island and worth the trip. This was a saturday night with live music. We will be back!

The fried grouper was really good but the broiled grouper was even better. It took some time for the food to arrive but I think it was because it was freshly made. Our server was very good - no complaints on service.

Great views but the food is nothing special and there is a limited number of non-fried items on the menu. It's a nice place to stop for a drink and a nice view while in Capri.

Don't let the 3 stars fool you: this place is very good. But, it is what it is: a beach restaurant. The grouper is always outstanding, as it should be, this is SW Florida. The Sunday buffet is a favorite.

Our go to get away from the world. The best view and grouper sandwiches in the area. Service can be slow so get a bottle of wine and watch the surf roll in and out.

  • Brian D.

    (1)
  • Michelle P.

Wow... Ted gives it a strong 4, which to me is a 5! Fish chowder was phenomenal.... Not fishy at all :-) Grouper sandwich was very good... Could use a bit better roll though but the onion rings were a nice touch. Paired with a Shock Top =Awesome!

    (5)
  • Christopher E.

Service was excellent! Very accommodating with our orders. Food came out fast. Everything tasted so fresh. We started out with the shrimp cocktail and fried calamari. Tasted awesome. We had the seafood capri, blackened grouper, and chef's special. The seasoning and sauces were amazing. We finished the meal off with key lime and kaluah cheesecake which was homemade. Will definitely come back and reccomend to everyone!

    (4)

Well they get one star for the bread rolls and being consistent. Consistently BAD! I ended up here again one night because it was the only place open. The food is outrageously overpriced and simply awful. It boggles my mind that they are still open! Please save yourself from a major disappointment and find anywhere else to eat.

Have been twice and the experience was great. If you are in the area put this on your bucket list.

Recently spent a few days in Marco Island and visited this restaurant. The food was amazing! I ate the Stuffed Grouper and my parents had the mixed grille. These were early bird specials. They were fresh and beautifully prepared. The plate presentation is outstanding!

The food was awesome and the location enviable. We chose to eat right on the beach! How often can you do that?!? The sunset was beautiful and the fish were jumping. I wish we had some mosquito repellant though after the sun went down.

Great place if you're looking for on beach location. We sat probably 4 ft from the water, really good food perfect for everyone's pallet. Had variety, but not a big selection ,it worked out. Also last yr we came here to do some canoeing and hung our dollar there and it's still there this yr !!!! :)
